Chapter 519 Drama and Rules

Hotland Present Day
In the wide area of Hotland, the NecroDancer was slowly making his way across the lands heading in the direction of the Colosseum of Fools. The NecroDancer had been in Waterfall, when he spotted a tv advertising the Sibling showdown and had seen Jake with the Golden Lute. Now the NecroDancer was on a mission to reclaim the instrument away from Jake and do away with the magical item. He traveled along and came across a grave that looked like it had been freshly buried. The sight of the grave gave the NecroDancer a idea as he headed over it. NecroDancer took a deep breath and fired a burst of energy into the grave. For a few seconds nothing happened, but then the ground of the grave began to shake and a hand shot out followed by the rest of a body that was slowly mending itself together. It was Tiso the bug warrior monster that had been killed by the Axem Rangers's anchor when they arrived at the Colosseum of Fools.
"What...happened? I...feel strange." Said Tiso in a raspy voice.
"You were dead and I brought you back to life. I am the NecroDancer and I need your help to accomplish a great task. When all is done I can see about fully restoring you or return you to the grave." Said NecroDancer.
"Fine. I will help. Lead the way." Said Tiso.
With his new helper in tow the NecroDancer continued on to the Colosseum of Fools.
In another part of Hotland, Mirage, Spinner, and Demonica had arrived at a secret tunnel and made their way inside. Inside the cave the sisters found a large red train with cars and a green smiling face that resembled Fawful's own face. The train was called the Fawful express and it was a secret project of Fawful to create a railroad to transport X-Nauts and other minions of Spirit around the Underground. A secret nearly invisible train track had already been placed in New Home and linked to Hotland and soon the tracks would be connected through a tunnel to Waterfall. Spirit wanted the tunnel to be sped up so the Fawful Express could be used to quickly transport treasure and magical items from Waterfall to the main base and factory in New Home once the agents successful raided Valefar's Vault.
The project was being overseen and protected by a trio of mercenaries that called themselves the Best Fit Friends. Their names were Dieter, Kaley, and Beef.
Dieter was the leader of the trio. He was a tall pink humanoid monster dressed in a black short sleeve shirt, black pants, black pointy hat, white boots, white gloves, white sunglasses, and a yellow scarf. He had a bit of blonde hair sticking out from under his hat.
Kaley was the smallest of the group. She was small pink humanoid girl with blue hair tied in a ponytail dressed in black dress with white, who had wing-like hands she flapped in the air like a bird that gave her the ability to fly.
Beef was a martial artist and the group's muscle. He has a blobish appearance with red hair, scarlet skin, and black pants with a red karate belt.
The tunnel was being worked on by two digger vehicle robots named Little Brother and Big Brother.
Little Brother was large green forklift with a yellow and blue front and grey forks sticking out.
Big Brother was large green excavator with a yellow plow at the front and a drill and claw arm on the top.
Little Brother, Big Brother, and Beef were working hard digging the tunnel and clearing the way as Dieter and Kaley watched and worked on putting some train tracks down. Mirage created a small gust of wind that blew against Dieter and Kaley getting their attention. The two mercenaries gasped at the sight of Mirage and quickly bowed before them.
"Great Mirage. Great Spinner. Great Demonica. We were told you would be coming to aid us." Said Dieter.
"Our condolences for your fallen sisters. We thank you for your aid and for gracing us with your presence." Said Kaley.
"What is the progress of the tunnel?" Asked Mirage.
"It is going splendidly! Our forces are making great progress on our side and Punchinello of the Smithy Gang is making good progress on his side in Waterfall." Said Dieter.
"Call Punchinello. I want to hear from him personally." Said Mirage.
Dieter went over to the Fawful Express and got at the controls pushing a few buttons. A arm with a tv at the end extended from the train and a imagine of Punchinello appeared on it.
Punchinello was an odd purple creature that resembled a cross between a clown and a bomb. His main body was purple and round with a white front that had a mouth and two eyes. Punchinello had long arms with white bands at the end and long white fingers, white socks, red shoes, medal with a smiley face on his chest, and the top of his head resembled a red wick.
"Greetings Lady Mirage." Said Punchinello with a bow.
"How goes your progress?" Asked Mirage.
"It is going great. I predict at the pace we are currently going the tunnel should be complete very soon." Said Punchinello.
"Excellent. Carry on." Said Mirage ending the call.
"If it's fine with you, me and Spinner are going to help with the tunnel." Said Demonica.
"Go right ahead. The sooner the tunnel is done, the sooner we can get the treasure, and then Spirit might actually give us a real mission against our enemies." Said Mirage.
Demonica and Spinner joined the digging team. Spinner cut through the rocks with her scythe blade face and Demonica smashed away with her fists and ax. The tunnel would get finished faster with the aid of the sisters.
At the Colosseum of Fools there was a bit of drama going around. The siblings were each given their own rooms to rest up for the tournament and there were also rooms available to any fans who wished to stay in the facility or go to a neighboring town that had a few inns in it.
Samantha, Nyx, and Ying were resting in their room, when Elise Dominant and Elise Wild burst through the door with glares on their faces. Their menacing entrance was quickly cut short by a bucket of slime suddenly fell on top of them coating them in green slime. Nyx and Ying burst out laughing, while Samantha chuckled.
"Hello ladies what can we do for you?" Asked Samantha.
"What's the big idea of you two competing in the Sibling Showdown?" Demanded Elise Dominant.
"Simple really, you hurt and threatened our friend, so we decided to enter the tournament to get a little payback and keep you from winning." Said Samantha.
"You dare interfere with us getting a wish for our master!" Snarled Elise Wild.
"He's your master not ours. We're technically allies, but our goals really don't have to lineup with each other." Said Samantha.
"Well do you at least plan to win the tournament?" Asked Elise Dominant.
"Not really." Said Samantha.
"You're going to not try and get a wish?" Asked Elise Dominant.
"Wishes are way more trouble then they're worth. Besides our only wish is beating you two and making sure you don't get that wish. After that will figure out some new wishes and goals." Said Samantha.
"Oh we're going to enjoy crushing that wish and destroying you in the tournament." Said Elise Dominant before she and Elise Wild stormed off.
"We going to hurt those jerks good?" Asked Nyx.
"We are definitely going to put the hurt on them." Said Samantha with a smirk.
Nyx just laughed at the thought of causing chaos.
Other teams prepared for the coming fight. Komodo Joe and Komodo Moe sharpened their swords and practiced their juggling and sword swings. Ribby and Croaks practiced their boxing skills. The Rhinocbros sharpened their horns and lifted weights. Colos did sit-ups and Suses did squats. Nuwa played her flute and Fuxi sat silently and listened.
The teams that formed alliances met to discuss strategies and plans.
Baal and Aym sat in their room with the Twin Tempest Demons, Fuki and Raiki.
"So who should we got after first?" Asked Baal.
"We will take care of Fire Leo and Frost Tiger and then we shall deal with Vendra and Neftin Prog. Of the ones that demonstrated their physical powers those two teams seemed the physical strongest." Said Fuki.
"I suppose that makes sense, my brother and I will go after the teams that demonstrated the quickest speed and reflexes. So will go after the Mantis Lords, the Leiana Sisters, Oro and Mato, and Sandalphon and Zohar." Said Aym.
"Your powers seems best suited to dealing with fast opponents. We should also deal with Juno and Suman since their powers are similar to our own brother." Said Raiki.
"Agreed. After all those teams are dealt with the rest will fall before our might." Said Fuki.
"And that wish will be as good as ours and our master will be free." Said Baal.
In another room Endol and Baruda were meeting with the Trigger Twins, Smiley and Shades. The two teams decided they were going to takeout the Broodals first since they had the biggest numbers and then go after the Shadow Sirens before taking on the other teams.
Juno and Suman of the Legion of Light met with the Leiana Sisters, Leiana White and Leiana Black. They decided they needed to takeout the Mantis Lords and Zohar Sandalphon and Zohar Metatron to beat them and gain the favor and alliance of both the Mantis Lords and Hoaxe and then they would go after the Shadow Sirens and remove them from the tournament.
The Shadow Sirens, Beldam and Marilyn met with the Broodals Topper, Hariet, Spewart, and Rango. Beldam knew at least three of the teams would immediately come after her and her sister and try to remove them from the tournament. Even with the Broodals aid the odds weren't too in their favor, so Beldam decided to swallow her pride and went to pay Mr. Dark a visit.
Mr. Dark was chilling near the top of the Colosseum with Doopliss and Dark Corvo.
"Hello Beldam, to what do I owe this little visit?" Asked Mr. Dark looking at the Shadow Siren.
"I need your help with the tournament. Too many of our enemies have entered and they'll most likely me and my sister to quickly eliminate us. I need something that'll even the odds and give me and my sister an advantage." Said Beldam.
"We since we both serve the master and we have the same enemies, I'll help you, in exchange you give me the wish if you win." Said Mr. Dark.
"Fine, but I want the credit for the win." Said Beldam.
"Fair enough." Said Mr. Dark.
"So what do you have for me?" Asked Beldam.
Mr. Dark reached into his cloak and produced a dozen pieces of black paper.
"What are those?" Asked Beldam.
"These are Cutout Soldiers. They come in Big and Li'l. They're simple but powerful minions. All you have to do is hold up the paper and say 'Cutout Soldiers Come Forth'. Said Mr. Dark.
The black paper began to glow and then pieces of it began to take the shape of black two dimensional humanoid creatures and grow. Some were small and vaguely resembled children, while others were tall and imposing with long limbs.
"Impressive. These will come in handy." Said Beldam.
Mr. Dark snapped his fingers and the Cutout Soldiers vanished and returned to be the black papers, which he handed to Beldam. The Shadow Siren took them and headed out.
The Unbread Twins, Doughie and Biscuit were chilling in their room when a spider monster named Muffet entered the room.
Muffet was an anthropomorphic spider monster with periwinkle skin, five eyes, six arms, and two legs. She wore red rompers with buttons in the front, a red ribbon across her chest, as well as twin pigtails in her hair.
Muffet was the boss of the Unbread Twins as well as their trainer.
"Alright my little bakers are you ready to show what you can do tomorrow." Said Muffet.
"Ready boss. We have plenty of goods cooked up for tomorrow." Said Doughie.
"Splendid! Once people see you in action, they'll come to our bakery for our food or for special training. It doesn't matter if you win or lose we're going to do good business." Said Muffet rubbing her hands together and the Unbread Twins cheered.
In a secret chamber in the Colosseum, the Zohar Sandalphon and Zohar Metatron had been summoned for a private meeting with Polygon Man. At first the room appeared to be empty with just the twins in it, but then dozens of purple glowing polygons flew out from the wall, ceiling, and floor and began to group together to form a giant floating head with spiky hair and glowing yellow eyes. It was Polygon Man and he looked down at the twins and addressed them
"Zohar the games will soon begin and I expect you both to put on a good and entertaining show." Said Polygon Man.
"Yes master." Said the Zohar Siblings.
"It doesn't really matter who wins this tournament, but if you fail to entertain me or live up to my expectations, then there will be consequences. I might trigger your other powers and form if things aren't going to my liking." Said Polygon Man.
"No need for that sir!" Said Metatron.
"Good. Remember what your life was like before I found you and turned you into what you are now." Said Polygon Man before he burst into dozens of polygons and vanished.
"We can't go back to being what we used to be." Said Sandalphon.
"Agreed. Either we win or we put on a show that pleases Polygon Man." Said Metatron.
The two siblings headed back to their quarters.
Later that night all the TVs in the area turned on displaying Taranza.
"Good evening folks. Before you go to bed let me explain the rules of the Sibling Showdown. It'll be a team fight free-for-all. You're allowed to use weapons, but there will be no killing. Each fighter will be given a special bracelet that has magical properties. If the fighter gets struck with something that is registered as a lethal or deadly blow they will be automatically teleported to the loser box and only get minor injuries. Also if the fighter is knocked out they will also be teleported to the loser box. If both siblings of a team are defeated their team is out, but if one is still fighting in the arena then their team is still in the game. That's all." Said Taranza before the message ended.
The fighters all rested that night ready for the tournament tomorrow.
Miles away from the Colosseum of Fools, Blockner and his crew were creating some serious cracks in the prison of the Nuclear Throne. A few well placed explosions finally created a huge crack that shattered the prison to bits. Blockner and his crew and allies looked on in awe at the first sight of the Nuclear Throne.
The Nuclear Throne was a large red metal platform with a large grey cannon in front, with steps above it with a red carpet. There were six glowing green lights by the big cannon that looked like smaller cannons. Four large exhaust pipes and two large green canisters of glowing green energy surrounded and sat on the sides of the seat that was the throne. The set glowed with green energy and had a symbol of an eye on it.
Blockner stared at the Nuclear Throne for a few seconds and then he ran up to it and sat down in the seat. The Nuclear Throne glowed brighter as green flames shot out of the exhaust pipes and six large mechanic a spider legs popped out if the side and the platform stood up.
"YES!" Screamed Pollution in glee.
"Wait till they get a load of me!" Said Blockner with glee.
