Hello everyone. I apologize for not having a consistent schedule with my updates on my story. I have a strict work schedule and have been very busy. I hope everyone had a great Labor Day if you are from the U.S. and continued on to your weekly routines. I will be dropping a character list key to help identify and understand the characters if you are not fluent with DC Comics identities. Other than that, happy Tuesday and enjoy. :)

"Oh! The movie was really great. I mean I was practically crying the whole time, but I think I want to see it again," Antonia laughed as Nicole talked about her weekend. Nicole had gone to see the opening of a new romance movie with their friend Kori. She was one of the friends from the Private school she had previously attended. "Yeah, and when we walked outside the theater, we both saw how much our tears soaked our shirts and we cried even more." Nicole had been painting her nails with a light blue iridescent polish. She then scrolled through her social media on her laptop. "Toni?" the girl with pink hair said. "What love?" she had responded. There was a pause. "When I was talking to Kori, she had mentioned that Rachel had a crush on Joseph. And that they had been spending time together a lot recently." Antonia closed the magazine and walked over to her window. "No way… I thought she and Garfield had a thing going on?" She had slid the screen up to let some of the incense smoke out of her room. "Well, it's kind of hard to tell with Rachel because she's hardly ever open with her emotions. And it also seemed like it was a one-sided thing. So, I don't know what to do." Nicole's voice had gotten softer with each word spoken. If Antonia were beside her in person, she would have known Nicole would have been on the verge of tears. Nicole was a very emotional person and loved to know everything about everyone. Not in a gossip type of way, but just to get to know everyone. Antonia was patient when Nicole started to vent about how difficult it would be if she tried to communicate her feelings as Joseph would need to think about what to even respond with. Antonia didn't really know much sign language but could make out obvious facial expressions. Nicole wanted to tell him how much she really liked him and that she wanted a relationship. But it was difficult every time they hung out and there were times when it was complete silence. "Maybe you should write how you feel then give it to him. Or just write it on a piece of paper then burn it and throw it away." No response. "Nicole don't tell me you're crying." She began to hear Nicole stuttering to begin her sentence. "Look love, just try to gauge his emotions towards you and how you interact when you two are together." The thing was that Nicole and Joseph hung out after school pretty often. Yet, if he was also hanging out with Rachel, when during the week did that happen? At night, after they would get dinner? On the weekends when he would run errands for his father's business? The other days when they didn't see each other. These thoughts flooded through her mind, and she started talking about terrible scenarios where Joseph would rudely reject her and leave her stranded at the mall. "I think I just need to walk this out, Toni. I'll call you later." Antonia sighed and responded, "Nicole please don't stress yourself over a small issue darling. It's going to be okay. I promise." "Okay, I won't. I'll call you later." She then hung up.
