"Gall-darn-it, darn-it, darn-it!" Franks repeated over and over again until he yet again threw the controller across the room. It shattered into so many pieces that as Stan went to pick itup, he didn't know if he'd be able to put it together again.

"Boss.."

"Don't."

"It's not.."

"I said don't." Franks said interrupting Stan again, "They are trained professionals. Yes he changed his hair color and put on glasses, but I don't care! Security at the front of the building, the hallways, anywhere, someone should have noticed!" Franks yelled.

"At least now we know, and we also know what kind of car he's in." Stan said calmly.

After getting back with the hospital security tapes, Franks and Stan had sat and watched them together. Trying to find what had set off Gibbs' gut. Just as Gibbs had turned to go down the hall to the nursesstation, a man in a lab coat came out of the room across the hall from the boys. They could tell Gibbs never saw the man leave the room, so he couldn't have known it was Goldlin, but Franks was furious that the other Agents didn't see him; even though they were still focused on Gibbs. Franks and Stan watched the rest of the tapes and followed Goldlin out of the hospital and into a car. They saw which way he turned and were now waiting on Kasie downstairs, as she was looking through the traffic cam tapes to see if they could get a better idea of where he went.

"So, you want me to call Gibbs?" Stan asked.

"No. I'll tell him myself." Franks said storming out of the bullpen.

"Oh boy. Maybe I should have Vince and Davis switch with Collins and Blackwater... no Boss will be there way before Vince and Davis could make it. Sorry boys, you're on your own." Stan said to himself as he gathered up the broken controller and tried to piece it together, yet again.

Franks had the same idea as Stan, though not for the same reason, and had called Vince and Davis on his way to the hospital. He was slightly calmer by the time he got there, but decided to wait for the agents before going in, which also gave him time to think about why he was here in the first place and got upset all over again. When the two agents meet him outside they just nodded to him as they didn't want to be on the receiving end of the furry they could tell he wanted to unleash. After following their boss upstairs, they stayed outside with Collins and Blackwater as Franks went into the boys' room.

"Do you know what's going on?" Blackwater asked.

"Not a clue. But Franks is pissed." Vince replied.

Inside the room Franks was greeted with the same thing Gibbs had been earlier. Smiles and giggles were still in full force between the boys as they watched 'Jake and the Neverland Pirates'. While the happy atmosphere had brought Gibbs a feeling of peace, it had the opposite effect on Franks. All he could think about was how Goldlin had been right across the hall, just this morning.

"Heya boys."

"Hi 'Ike."

"I."

The two little boys didn't even look over as they broke into another fit of giggles from what was happening on the T.V.

"Probie, can I talk to you outside for a sec?"

"Sure Mike. Be right back guys."

The two just distractedly waved at him, as more giggles erupted.

Gibbs could tell Franks was pissed and was glad Tim and Tony's attention was elsewhere.

As they stepped into the hall Franks pulled out a few photos from his pocket. He handed one to Vince and said, "You and Davis stay here. The rest of you, with me." He turned and walked down the hall, knowing the three other agents would follow. He didn't go far, just to the next empty room. Once everyone was inside he shut the door. Gibbs stayed quite as Franks paced back and forth. The other two agents didn't know Franks as well.

"Sir, is there a problem?" Blackwater asked.

That immediately stopped the pacing. "Problem? Oh you could say that." He handed a photo to Gibbs and one to Collins and Blackwater.

It only took Gibbs a second to place where the photo had come from. Swearing, he turned and punched the door frame.

"I don't.." Blackwater started to say.

"Oh crap." Collins said as it sank in. "How did we miss that?" By then Blackwater had also figured it out and turned a little pale.

"Let me just say, I am furious. At you, hospital security, everyone." Franks stopped to take a breath before continuing, "That man was four feet from you. Granted he shouldn't have been able to get that close, and I will be havin' a chat with the hospital security." Franks stopped and watched as now Gibbs was the one pacing back and forth. "You two head back to NCIS. Agent Burley will tell you what's next."

"Yes Sir." They both said as they guiltily looked at Gibbs and slowly sneaked passed him.

"Probie." Franks said once the door had shut.

"He was right here!" Gibbs yelled, turning to face Franks.

"I know."

Gibbs took a deep breath as he ran his hand up and down his face, then around the back of his neck. "Now what?"

"From the tapes we got the direction he left the parking lot. Kasie's going through traffic cams to try and get more info. Hopefully we'll have more soon."

"I could of had him Mike. He was right there." Gibbs whispered.

"Jethro," Franks stepped over and placed a hand on Gibbs' shoulder, "This is not your fault. You couldn't have known. And we'll get him. There is no way he's getting that close to the kids again."

The man had a plan as he rinsed the black dye from the sink. He had abandoned the car in an overnight park and ride lot and hot wired another. Then he went to the store and bought hair dye, colored contact lenses, and brown shoe polish.

After drying his, now black hair, he put in the blue contact lenses. With an evil grin he twisted open the brown shoe polish and lightly started to cover his face. Once his face was covered he also did the back of his hands. Staring at himself in the mirror, he let out a laugh. "Get ready agent. I's gonna get you outta my way's first. Then I's gonna get them snot-nosed brats."

A/N: And I know someones going to ask.. why Kasie and not Abby? Well, just because. I said in the very beginning the time line is all over the place :)
