Soldier Boy and Angel Girls
Levi P.O.V
Long time no see, Abydos Highschool. I've brought you a hundred or so new students. Mami, Madoka, Homura, Sayaka, and Kyouko are walking by my side with their merged platoons behind marching as one in formation.
"... My second in command, Eugene, had their documents and application papers with him. He said that the GSC allowed him to use the... Blood Portal as they've called it." Mikhail said as he walked, looking away awkwardly.
"There's nothing to worry about, Mikhail. It's just a scary name, it's perfectly safe." Reila explained to him, walking as she looked at the spiralling black and red energy above the tile with Alll-Mers sigil.
Hmm, now that I think about it. The Blood Portal looks exactly like Hurting, almost identical to the Double Hurting ball.
The Blood Portal expands, the sound coming from it being used as an Automaton carrying two cardboard boxes came out. He then quickly turns his head left and right, I can't tell how he's feeling or what he's thinking.
"Oh, that's Eugene right there." Mikhail said, then he shouted at his comrade with his arms up waving to get his attention.
Eugene, as Mikhail calls him, turned to look at us and then he started running towards us.
"Wow, that's so convenient..." I heard Sayaka muttering aloud in astonishment. Yeah, just imagine how much easier logistics would've been in the war when we had that. "Oh yeah, it was the 1940s where you're from."
"Sayaka, I don't think Sensei will like being reminded of that." Nah, that's fine Mami. I actually enjoyed it a little there. "Coming from the Soviet Union... I doubt that." Hmm, they keep using names from that game I played... could it be that Call Of Duty came from their world and somehow found it's way here?
"We can talk about that later. Let's first get you girls enrolled." I said, watching as Eugene reached us and opened up the boxes with... documents as far as I could tell.
"You guys didn't tell me you got a free transit!" He loudly complained in an annoyed young sounding voice, probably near but still lesser than Mikhail. He then picked up a handful of documents, walking closer to the foot soldier girls as he called out names and handed papers to whoever responded.
"He's always liked trains, even when we were young." Automatons grow up? Are they all... made the equivalent of infants and then changing forms as they age? Or are they somehow born the same as humans or animals? Now that I think about it, is there a way for non automatons to differentiate automatons from one another? "Those are valid concerns... for Kivotos non natives at least."
"I'm sure we'll understand Kivotos fully, Levi... probably... at some point..." Reila... at some point could mean ten, even twenty or thirty years from now. "Then we'll just have to get used to it." Yeah, I guess we will.
We waited for Mikhail and Eugene to finish distributing essential documents to the former mercenary girls, we watched as they systematically read out names from the documents they held and gave it to whoever's name was called that raised their hands. Lastly, he gave the five colorful officers by my side their papers.
Hmm, with the time it took to finish all of that, the Abydos girls would've noticed and came out already. Hoshino and Shiroko specifically, and Ayane... eh, she's probably already seen us with a drone hiding in plain sight.
"Levi, Reila. We've finished giving the girls their required papers for enrollment." Mikhail reported to us, motioning with one hand towards the girls in uniform holding their documents with one hand and their guns in the other...
"Alright. Take your guns magazines off, and throw it in those boxes." I pointed to the box which until minutes ago held their papers as I let out the last word. "Wouldn't want them thinking you're here for another attack, right?"
With a slight show of hesitation, they all began removing their guns magazines, with Eugene moving the cardboard boxes closer to them for convenience. Again, it took a short while for all 130 of them or so to finish up.
"Sensei, what about us?" Hmm, no need Madoka, you have a bow. Sayaka's using swords, I already know Mami and Homura are disciplined enough to be left by themselves, and Kyouko... eh. She's sticking to Mami, that should be good enough.
"H-hey! You say that like I'm a dog!" Hmm... no, I didn't mean it like that... your arm is wrapped around Mami's. "Uhm... no it's not." Kyouko said, retracting her hand and resting it behind her back... sure.
"Ah, yes. Even back in Kaiser PMC, Kyouko always followed Mami around." That so, Mikhail? Kyouko is glaring at him... is that a blush I see in her cheeks?
"Oh, Kyouko. No need to be shy, girls can love other girls as well." Reila said with a teasing but encouraging tone. Wait, girls can be gay too?! "Huh? Of course they can! What ma-" Reila shouted, and was about to start explaining until she just stopped realizing something.
"Oh, right. The Eastern Union labeled being gay as a mental illness." Yeah, I heard about that from the people conscripted from lesser Union Republics.
"Enough about being gay for now, it's about time they met the Foreclosure Task Force." I said as I turned around, motioning for them to follow me as I walked through the entrance.
And so, they all followed. The colorful former magical girls, the two automatons and Reila, the one hundred thirty girls in uniform. The same kind as the ones who attacked Abydos back then, about to enroll to the very same school they were being ordered to attack. That's... kind of poetic, isn't it?
All the footsteps happening at once echoed through the almost desolate hallways of the desert school, just a cacophony of boots hitting the flooring.
Hmm, where the hell are they? They... probably aren't hiding for an ambush, they would've met us even before reaching the entrance gates if that were the case. Are they just not here at the moment?
"... This is what that jerk director had us fighting to capture?" I heard one of the helmeted girls muttering aloud in frustration.
Hmm, something feels... weird... cold. The nights here weren't that cold, the last time I felt this kind of cold was... back at the Orphanage... when Miss Abella insisted on playing with an Ouija board.
A realization hit me, causing me to halt in my tracks. Everyone behind me stopped all the same, some of them letting out small noises of confusion.
Oh yeah... I did turn Hoshino's se- cold... I feel my spine tingling!
I look around infront of me for that girl with... really big milkers... I turn around to see if they're all right.
Hmm, Mami, Homura, and Kyouko are looking around cautiously while Madoka and Sayaka are holding themselves shivering. The foot soldier girls are all also shivering, they're feeling it.
"Hmm, is it really that cold?"
"See? I told you our heat and cold sensors needed maintenance."
Hmm, either they're not feeling it or their nature as machine men makes them immune to it.
Then, an ominous voice humming echoes through the hallway causing almost all of the girls to stiffen up and yelp in fright.
Bad girls... you're here to attack my precious juniors again...
The ominous voice said, ugh... even I'm feeling the hairs in my body rising and my skin feeling chills.
From the wall in my right, I watched as a head with blueish green hair passed through the wall. The former mercenary girls all froze, then they all slowly turned their heads to look at the ghostly figure. Then, it raised it's head showing its face...
No eyes, only a black void... and a devilish grin.
You lot are not welcome here!
It screamed and shrieked, it reverberated throughout the hallway along with the foot soldier girl's own screams and shrieks of absolute fright as they all backed away from it.
Then the one furthest back turned and tried to flee away, until the entrance, now the exit doors suddenly slammed shut by itself. Then, more frightful screaming ensued.
Such cute girls, you will all be my friends, right?!
It's ghostly menacing voice again echoed through the hallway followed by a manic laugh.
I see Reila with her arms wrapped around Mikhail and Eugene's necks, stifling a laugh as she whispered something to them. Then their heads moving, the way chuckling would make someone move their heads. Well, they're having fun at least.
Huh? Sounds like the girls aren't screaming anymore. I see Madoka approaching Hoshino's ghostly senpai with worry and sympathy in her eyes.
Then they all started screaming again as the ghost floated out of the wall and closer to them.
"I.. uhm... I understand that Kaiser PMC has hurt you, but we're not Kaiser anymore. We're here to help Abydos." She said, hands clasped together as she walked closer to the ghost. "I'm not sure what I can do for you, but whatever it is I'll try my best."
Yume, I heard Hoshino calling her that back then, paused looking down on Madoka as she's floating up.
I see Sayaka trembling, holding onto Homura who's trying to push her off of her person.
Yume then smiles, no, smirks.
Really now? Then you will spend the rest of eternity with me down here!
She started laughing maniacally as she floated closer to Madoka, her arms stretched outwards in an embracing way.
"Alright, you've enjoyed yourself well enough." I said with a sigh, walking closer to Yume and Madoka as they both stared at me.
Such a good looking boy, you're mine now!
She said, then she started flying towards me really fast. Does she really think that'll work on me? I'm the one who turned her to a ghost.
Once she flew within arms length, I extended my-
[Precision Stance]
Arm towards her as fast as I could, she changed paths too late as my hand... caught one of her humongous milkers, I squeezed out of instinct.
"Kyaaa!" She yelped and loudly moaned, the menacing aura she had just seconds ago all but gone. The atmosphere... is back to normal... I can touch ghosts now apparently, or is that because I'm the one who made her a ghost?
Hmm, her eyes are back looking at me in embarrassment... I squeeze the soft squishy slab of fat in her chest again, and again she loudly moaned. I mean, can you blame me? You're breasts are huge! You're like a camel, but instead of a hump you have breasts the size of a torso!
... They're all staring at me, unmoving. The foot soldier girls who moments ago were just screaming in fright, Madoka who looked so concerned about the ghost who I'm now... molesting, there's no other way of saying this.
Gods, that's a sentence I never thought I would even conceive.
Mami's looking at me with wide eyes and raised eyebrows in confusion along with Kyouko, and Homura is just looking in incredulity as if she's already seen everything there is to see.
"J-just as I thought! I can't leave my precious little H-Hoshino-chan in your hands. Y-you're a pervert!" Huh? It's your fault for having breasts this huge! You were practically tempting me to fondle you! And besides, as your necromancer, I could order you to do as I wished. "You... kyaaa! Hoshino-chan, save me!"
I squeezed, and I squeezed again as I heard Yume moaning who's still somehow floating up the air. Is floating by default for ghosts, or is she just struggling to keep herself at the air?
"Levi... I think that's enough." I ignore Reila completely in favor of caressing Yume's Yumes, it's soft and squishy.
"Uwah, Yume-senpai? Levi-Sensei?" I heard Hoshino yawning as she walked out of a room, hunched over and rubbing her eyes. She then turns her eyes to us, completely widening in alert. "No, no Sensei. Yume-senpai is mine, find your own." She said as she straightened her back frolicking towards us, taking my hand off of Yume's breasts and bringing her face closer to it but... she only phased through Yume entirely.
"Oh... right, that." Hoshino said as she turned around to look back at Yume, looking a little dejected that she couldn't touch her melons. "Sensei... whatever it is that let you fondle her, give it to me." She demanded as she walked closer to me and grabbed me by the shoulders, she... she's not going to take no for an answer.
"Hoshino, right? We'll figure that out later." Hoshino turned to look at Reila, to which she widened her eyes in surprise.
"A haloless woman? You must be Reila then." Hoshino concluded, then she turned to look at the former Kaiser girls all looking at her. "Kaiser PMC? What... are you all doing here?" She asked with suspicion, letting go of my shoulders as she turned to fully face them.
Then Madoka, her fellow pinkette, nervously walked towards her with her documents at hand.
"You... don't look like a delinquent, how'd you end up in Kaiser?"
Not answering Hoshino's question, Madoka bowed her upper half down while her hands offered her documents to Hoshino.
"On b-behalf of everyone behind me, I a-apologize for being c-complicit with Kaiser's actions against Abydos!" Madoka nervously, yet kindly gave a formal apology. I see Yume in my peripheral gasping as she covered her mouth, and Hoshino... she's frozen. With her back to me, I can't see her expression and I don't want to have to read her mind.
"... What is this for?" I heard Hoshino asking aloud, Madoka's documents and application paper in hand. "Enrolling... you're... enrolling here?" She asked in disbelief.
"Yes, presumptuous we must be. We... have nowhere else to go." Mami politely explained as she walked closer to Hoshino, bowing and presenting her documents and application paper just as Madoka did. "Again, I'm sorry we never did anything to stop Kaiser."
"... Why?"
"If I may, I should be the one apologizing." Mikhail said, walking infront of Hoshino as he put his hands on Mami and Madoka's shoulder. "I had troops loyal to me to oppose the director, yet I did nothing until Reila showed herself." And with that, he himself bowed down to Hoshino.
"T-that's... fine. It was... your job, and you have a family to feed, right?" Hoshino stuttered out at the display, her arms nervously moving around and motioning for them to stop. "B-besides... y-you were responsible for these kids, right?"
"And I used to be a brigade commander. I could have done something to help your school, but I did nothing." Mikhail said, staying as he is in a bow. "So please, I beg of you. Accept these poor lost girls to your school, all their previous applications have all been rejected." He... he reminds me of them, worrying about me even when they knew I killed so much in the war.
Miss Abella, Miss Karin... Mister Marcoh... I hope that wasn't just a dream, that he's... still himself even when I claimed his soul from his corpse.
"They're... really enrolling? This... isn't a prank, is it?" I heard Hoshino say, sobbing in between the words. "Abydos... hasn't had a single new enrollee in years... but a hundred at once?" She sniffles.
"You're all welcome!"
/
Hoshino said that Shiroko, Serika, Nonomi, and Ayane were all arriving soon to help process all of the new applications and I wasn't doing anything to help. So off to Millennium I went to check up on the GDD.
They had everything covered there, I also heard them talking about giving either Mikhail or Eugene the position of Abydos principal, so they definitely know what they're doing. There's also that aid package thing Rin was talking about, but that's probably beyond me. I'll just check up on them later.
As the futuristic architecture of Millennium, structures of steel, glass, and almost countless electronics, filled my sights after going through the Blood Portal I couldn't help but admire all of it all over again. I've already seen it a bunch of times, but still... I don't think I'll ever get used to this place.
Turning towards where the GDD sho-
A bright blue light shot out of the engineer girls factory like clubrooms roof, reaching high up into the sky as the clouds in its way either had holes blown into it or was entire split in half. Hell, some were even fully dissipated.
Hmm... should I check it out? I mean, that blast of light probably could've erased an entire theatre's worth of divisions... and all I have to do is look at whatever monstrosity those girls created...
It's my job and responsibility anyways, so... forwards I went towards the Engineering Departments clubroom. I started jogging towards it-
[Phase Step]
Grabbing the door handle as I phased into place and twisting it open. I see... it's Aris, she's carrying... a huge blocky thing. The way she's holding it... it's like a huge rotary machinegun but that thing looks more like a cannon going by it's single huge... barrel? Muzzle? I can tell it's not break action, and it's certainly not loaded with a magazine or stripper clips so... what the hell... is that thing?
Could it be the source of the blue light? I mean... it's still glowing orange, as well as steaming, from heat...
Aris looks so bright and happy holding that thing like it's a toy. She then notices me, expression going blank for a moment before she let out an even brighter smile towards me.
"It's Gun Mage Sensei! The Blinding Light must've summoned him!" She cheerfully said aloud, as if she were in a play. Momoi and Midori are also here, looking on as they noticed my arrival. "Good day, is it not, Warrior Sorcerer Sensei?" Ugh, I cringe inwards as I heard the new title.
I see Hibiki putting some straps on the thing Aris is holding, hmm looks like it's for easier handling or a sling. How's that thing gonna hold up it's weight? Or is it really light somehow?
"Sensei, you're here?" Good morning, Utaha. "Yes, good morning Sensei. What brings you here?" I'm just here to check up on those three. Where's Kotori?
Just as that thought passed my head, I saw her rushing into view from somewhere followed by... armed robots and drones.
"Well, little Aris here wants our Supernova Sword Of Light but we can't just hand it over now, can we?" Utaha explained, looking and sounding very proud of that... Sword Of Light thing Aris is carrying.
"I am no mage, I however am still capable of miracles!" Just what have those twins been teaching her? She speaks like an actor in a live theatre as if in default. "Nonsense! Aris is no bard." Exactly!
"Hmm, looks like you girls have another hole in the roof."
"It's fine, Sensei." Utaha says that, but she's groaning with obvious exasperation.
Anyways, I watched as Aris shot out small bursts of blue light from that... I'm not even gonna consider that a weapon, more like a machine that disperses out Black Orbs like wheat from a field. The blue light from it melted and exploded robots upon contact, which happened faster than conceivable in the naked eye.
Anyways, with support from Momoi and Midori, they easily dispatched the robots and drones Kotori sent their way. Looks like Aris is keeping her new toy.

"I am known as Aris the Blue Eyes, a dwarven lancer wielding the Flame Dragon Fang Gunlance. I hail from the Steel Mountain, but I lost my family at an early age after the Demon King atta-" I stopped listening entirely at how Aris was introducing herself. Just... what the hell have these twins been teaching her?
This is not going to end well because, as Momoi said, Yuuka would be coming here to do an eligibility check, as Midori nervously referred to it, on Aris. To make sure she's actually qualified to be here or something. Hmm, I'm jealous of how Momoi is staying calm playing that MMO thing even as thei-
"No, no Aris! I meant your own intro, not your ingame character intro!"
"Oh, understood. Hello, I am Aris. A first year here at Millennium Science School, I recently transferred having missed the registration so I will not be taking classes until next month." Alright, that sounds perfectly fine now. "Although I have yet to start classes, I was told I could still join a club and I chose the Game Development Department." Alright, that's perfectly perfect.
"See, Midori? Aris is totally ready for this!" Momoi said happily, arms high up in celebration towards her green twin.
"Yeah, that was actually good." Midori said with an impressed expression. I mean, yeah. In just a day, you girls managed to-
"My role at the Game Development Department is to tank and deal light type melee damage." Aris said with an almost perpetually cheerful expression. Oh, nevermind. Just what have you two been teaching her?
"Don't look at me, I was out yesterday with Veritas to hack- I mean register her in Millenniums student database." Is that so, Momoi? Then, Midori?
"Uhmm, I didn't know where to even start so we just gave her a bunch of videogames to play through. I mean, it was working!" Well... I actually can't argue with that, Midori. She speaks weird, but at least she's somewhat speaking normal like a person.
"That aside. Aris, you're supposed to be a programmer!" Momoi reminded Aris with an exasperated tone, hands on Aris, shoulders and slightly shaking.
"Yes, I learned to code in JaBa before even speaking my first word." Aris said, almost sounding devoid of emotion the same as when we first found her. Hmm... she was technically born yesterday...
"Agghh, are we really going through this?!" Midori... the chances are low, but never zero. "I... suppose that's right."
"Yes! The Ashbringer drop rates were below one percent, yet RNGesus bestowed the holy sword upon me thrice!"
... I'm just gonna hope for the best.
/
"Unbelievable, there's no way that someone would willingly join the GDD..." Yuuka muttered out, eyes narrowed in suspicion with her hands on her chin as she scrutinized the twins and Aris.
"Objection! The sight before you!" Momoi proudly and confidently presented Aris, while Midori is as usual looking on in a mix of hope and uncertainty.
Aris looks back at Yuuka with a neutral expression as Yuuka is staring down at her.
"So... you must be Aris. The one everyone is talking about, the supposed fourth member of the GDD." Yuuka spoke sounding thoughtful and all that. "I know every student here in Millennium... so how did I miss such a cute girl?" Momoi shows panic at her words. Yuuka, just be happy that you have another cute daughter.
"Levi-Sensei, please shut up."
"Oh... it's the spectre!" Aris exclaimed in realization as she looked up Yuuka who's taller.
"E-excuse me?!" Yuuka exclaimed back at Aris looking annoyed. "What did you just call me?!"
"Uhmm, Aris is just a little scatter brained is all! She... she probably meant to say spectacular or something!" Momoi, ever heard of the words loose lips sink ships?
"Yeah, I don't really like it when a stranger talks to me like that, and Momoi... you sound like you're trying to hide something..."
"It's n-nothing personal, Yuuka! Anyways, we got the minimum club members needed. Can the GDD stay?" Hmm, I don't think Yuuka's just going to let that slide.
"True, that's assuming she joined of her own volition." Yuuka said, turning her gaze to Aris again. "The rules are more strict now. Some clubs got by because they abused Seminars trust, lying about having gotten new members and all that." Eh, they'll figure it out.
"But not to worry, I've only got an interrogation- no, I mean just a few questions for Aris." Yuuka said with a bright cheerful smile, as if she didn't just say interrogation. "It won't take long." She said as both Momoi and Midori look on nervously.
I hear Aris gulping with a fearful expression as Yuuka's shadow cover her entirely. "Is it p-possible to achieve a b-bad ending depending on my dialogue choices?" Hmm, I'm just gonna assume that's a videogame thing.
"Well... anything is possible after all." Yuuka said, looking weirded out at how Aris spoke. "Anyway, let the games begin!" She announced, then she leaned over Aris in whispering distance.
... Lines of thought are different from what one is actually saying, so I probably won't know with that. Whatever Yuuka is whispering, I can't tell as Aris is just staring on blankly.
"Hey! What are you whispering on for?!" Momoi shouted, problem furious at their mother not trusting them. "Here! Look at this pristine new I.D!" She present an I.D card with Millenniums symbol, a sleek looking M cut in half, and a photo of Aris with her name on it.
Tendou Aris.
Yuuka, eyeing the I.D with Aris' name on it, began humming as she examined it. "Student registry, check. Was issued an I.D, check." That means it's perfect, right? "Perhaps, but it'll take more than that to satisfy me." Tsk, that's bureaucracy I guess.
I hear Momoi and Midori groaning and whining in unison, probably because Yuuka's seemingly not buying it... yet anyways.
"Enough of that, the interrogation begins for real now." Somehow, with that calm smile on her face, Yuuka's more scarier than Needles along with a lot of the things back in Prehevil. They would've been cut or shot down eventually, but Yuuka... ugh, bureaucracy sounds even worse somehow. I can't even run from it.
"She isn't even hiding it this time." Momoi whined out.
Yuuka stares down Aris again. "So, Aris. Why join the Game Development Department?"
"Well... I first woke up here." Aris said in a tone and expression both nervous and uncertain. I almost palmed my face hearing her speak. "No, wait. That's not right." A little too late to backtrack now for her.
"Momoi, can you stop glaring at me like that!" Yuuka asked- no, demanded as she snapped back to Momoi. Oh, thank the Gods. She wasn't paying attention to what Aris said. Yeah, Momoi. Stop looking at your mama like that!
"H-hey!
"I... wanted to play Castlevania, then I heard that there was a game club here." Aris began explaining, earning Yuuka's full attention.
"I see." Yuuka said, looking deep in thought as I saw Momoi with a smile mouthing something off to Aris. "You said "game club" specifically, I'm certain that you know well enough that the GDD's sole objective is not only to play videogames?" Huh? Of course she would, why are you even nitpicking the wording?
"Because, Sensei, not using specific words can and will cause confusion." Even then, game club and dame development club basically sound the same to me! "Sensei, you wrote your birth year first as 1923... it would've been at least 1940 where you're from, so it's no surprise you're clueless like a grandpa about the matter." ... Tsk, I can't argue with that.
"Even if it were the same, what role would Aris be playing in this club?"
"They're supposed to be producing those videogame things, right? If Aris just wants to play, then she could stay as a product tester right?" At my reasoning, Yuuka actually paused with eyebrows rising in realization.
"... That's a grandpa's mindset alright." I heard her muttering. "Valid reasons, but let's hear what Aris herself has to say." With that, we turn to look back at Aris.
"Oh, I'm a tank and light type melee damage dealer!" Aris proudly announced, expression brightening up in joy. Oh goddamnit! This time, I actually groaned, palming my face as my head tilted backwards.
"... What?"
"Yuuka... she likes those videogame things a little too much." After voicing that out, I then turn to address Aris. "Aris, she meant in the GDD not in your... raids as Momoi called it."
"Oh, then... I'm a... prog... glamor." Sounds close enough.
"... You mean a programmer?" Yuuka corrected? Questioned? I'm just as baffled as her at this point. It's like we're teaching a toddler or something.
"Oh yes, that! I'm the picture perfect definition of a programmer!" Oh, I'm sure you are Aris.
"I see... programming is a pretty difficult job." Yuuka said, with a sceptical tone as she looked at Aris.
"Yes! Sometimes, we just die from working too hard!" Well... people did die a lot back in my day, there's no arguing with that. "Uwaah, that's scary, Sensei."
"... That's not surprising coming from the 1940s, but Aris?! W-what did you just say?!"
"No need to worry, it's not a big deal!" Pfft, I just barely held my laugh back.
"Dying is not a big deal?!" Yuuka exclaimed in utter befuddlement, whining out as she looked at Aris as if she got a screw loose in the head.
"Yeah! Usually, you just wake up at an inn or you have to pay a fee at the cathedral. Then, you're easily revived!" ... That sounds something out of Alll-Mer's teachings, the second one with a cathedral that is.
"Huh? Just... what are you saying?" ... You tell me, Yuuka.
"Hmm? It should be common sense. Have you not played Fable of Heroes yet? Or any game from the Brother series? You should try them, they're really good!" Well, at least Aris sounds very, very happy talking.
"It's game over..." I heard Momoi muttering, as silence takes over the room. Yuuka... has her eyes closed, probably thinking of how to kindly say their club will be out of the picture.
"Alright, we're done here. I finally understand the kind of person Aris is." Yuuka said, a smile of... relief? In her face.
I hear the twins letting out noises. Fear, uncertainty, nervousness, a mix of those things as they couldn't say anything awaiting Yuuka's judgement.
"Uh..." Aris hummed out, looking on at Yuuka equally as uncertain as her twin friends.
"For one, I can tell you're an odd duck. Furthermore, you're the kind that enjoys exploring new worlds and achieving great things with your friends." The way Yuuka's speaking, it's almost like she's a mother proud of her children. "As such, I can with no doubt say that you're a member of the GDD." Hearing that, I felt myself breathing out in relief.
I hear Momoi and Midori muttering something out in disbelief, and after a second or two, they began cheering themselves on cheerfully.
"So we can keep the clubroom! A-and when will we get out budget?" Momoi asked excitedly, face almost radiating with joy.
"Oh, that? Until the end of the semester." Wait, doesn't that sound like-
"Huh?! W-what did you just say?!"
"Why?! We already have enough club members, right?! What else do you want?!"
The twins in unison both screamed out in despair and frustration.
"Remember, until you present to us, Seminar, any decent results. You're still in danger of being shut down." Oh, right. Momoi said something about winning the Millennium Prize, even bragging about a secret weapon or something. "Precisely, that wasn't all just talk now. Was it, Momoi?"
I hear Momoi whining and groaning out along with Midori, probably of the reminder that they're not out of the water yet.
"You should've already known that, I explained it to all the club presidents... thinking back to it, Yuzu wasn't present back then." That should be their club president, right? "So the responsibility of complying falls to you lot."
Momoi growls as she whines. "That's so unfair!" It is?
"Mind you, the definition of fairness is making everyone follow the same set of rules!" There's a lot in people's circumstances that make them unable to follow some rules, but... the GDD appears to be capable, so I won't bring it up. "Besides, I still have my suspicions of Aris so shutting this club down is still in my mind."
"Huh?!" Midori whined out.
"However, I can see that Aris is passionate about videogames just as you two and Yuzu are. Given that passion, producing decent results should be a given." Yeah, but they're still doubting themselves. Can't she see that? Or... is she hoping that the GDD would push through. "As Sensei reminded, Momoi. You said you'd have a blast of a surprise for the Millennium Prize?"
"I... yeah, of course I still have that!" She obviously doesn't.
"Good, then I'll be waiting to play it myself." Yuuka said, with a smile of anticipation as she turned around and walked out the room. "Well, take care then." She gave one last goodbye before pulling the door close from the outside.
"She's gone..." Midori muttered out with, breathing in relief.
"Gaaah! She just wants to kick us out, doesn't she?!" No, no she doesn't, Momoi. "B-but Sensei-!"
"No... Sensei Is right, Momoi." I heard a meek voice coming from... that small metal locker.
[Mind Read]
I'm such a terrible club president, I couldn't even attend a simple meeting of all things.
"Oh, it's just a stupid meeting. Nothing to make a fuss about."
"Huh?! H-how did you know?!" Of course, having someone verbally respond to her thoughts, she's in distress.
"You must be Yuzu." I spoke softly, walking slowly towards the girl hiding in the locker. "I'm Levi, it's nice to meet you." I introduced myself, bringing my hand up and offering a handshake.
The locker creaks as it's door slides open, revealing a small red haired girl with an orange halo that looks like a- what did Arona call ot again? A computer power button. She's wearing a white oversized jacket with the Millennium symbol on the left part of the chest, and her I.D clipped to the breast pocket on the right. She has... I think a grenade launcher going by the sight, it has... a screen with controllers in it's sides attached to it. On it is... a blocky looking cat propelling itself through the stars with rainbow shooting out of its rear.
"Y-yes, it's nice to meet you t-too L-Levi-Sensei. I am H-Hanaoka Yuzu." She, Yuzu, shyly introduced herself stuttering as she bowed.
"Yeah, like Sensei said, the meeting isn't anything important. Besides, Momoi was supposed to attend for you!" Midori said, walking over to Yuzu as she rubbed her on the shoulders in a comforting way. "Nee-san, where were you anyways back then?"
"Well... The Item drops rates were doubled yesterday, so..." Momoi trailed off, looking at Midori awkwardly as she pointed at the game she and Aris were playing earlier.
"Delete it! Delete that game right now!" Midori whined out, demanding as she aggressively made some pointing motions towards Momoi. "Ugh, looks like we'll have to actually make a game we can present at the Millennium Prize." Does that mean you were never planning on doing so?
"Of course we were!" Momoi vehemently denied my accusation. "But... looks like we'll have to go back to the Ruins." Huh? But didn't we already find Aris? Wasn't she what you were looking for?
"No, Sensei. Just that Aris was much more important than the G.BIBLE, we were only halfway towards the coordinates I was given." That so, Momoi?
"Then can you girls first show me what kind of games you're making? So I have an idea of what's happening? I heard Aris talking about a game called "Castlevania", I wanna see what that's like."
"Sure, Sensei. Just give us a moment to boot up our console." Yuzu said, then off they went attaching some cables and pushing some buttons on that box TV. "It isn't the kind of game we make, but we'll show it first since you asked." Really? Thanks Yuzu.
Let's see, the TV opened up showing... I think either the names and logo's of the groups who made or published this game. Then, the name of the game with a stylized font appeared.
Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow.
Interesting na- is that just a huge medieval ass castle flying? Cool. They hand the controller to Aris who has a seemingly perpetual smile.
"Panpakapan! Game start!" She happily cheered and announced as she pressed the load option, scrolling the down a bit and then pressing start again.
Let's see, a red and green bar at the top left. The main character Aris is controlling, at least I'm assuming it is, has white hair and a white jacket. Looks like the game in our view is sideways... I guess the gameplay is gonna be different than it's lore because fighting by moving front and backwards would obviously be really awkward.
Aris, still having her smile on, is fully focused on the TV screen as she presses buttons on the controller. The player character on the screen seems to be following the buttons being pressed as he's moving, jumping up left and right as he's striking with a... whip? And sometimes magic.
So much happening at the screen, I'm barely keeping up. After reaching a place with pillars in the background, the red and green bars disappear and the screen shortens a bit. Another character walks into view as the main character turns around to look back.
Then a dialogue starts as a drawing of the characters faces... appear... agghh! Aaaaggghhhhh!
"Uwaah, Sensei, what is it?!" It's Mister August! Same red hair! Same mustache! Same wrinkles! Even has the eyes of a seasoned warrior! Why the hell is he there?! "Sensei... that's probably just a coincidence." That looks too much like Mister August to be a coincidence!
"Sensei, did this August person do something to you?" Midori asked in concern.
"N-no, he was... someone nice. I met him back in Prehevil." They don't need to know about... that.
"About what? What kind of person was that person?" Momoi curiously asked. Well...
"I know that he's a monster hunter, he was even the descendant of Ragnvaldr the Monster Hunter." Hearing that, they're eyes start glimmering in admiration. Even Aris stopped playing as she turned around to look at me.
"Yeah, that's a little too much of a coincidence." Why do you say so, Midori?
"Sensei, that character we're fighting against... his family is a long line of vampire hunters, as well as being the direct descendant of a great warrior as well." Really now, Yuzu?
"Yes! His clan, the Belmont clan fought evil and monsters like the King of Vampires Dracula for centuries to protect the world." Aris happily explained, getting closer to me as her hands pumped up and down excitedly explaining that characters lore. "Can you tell us more about The Monster Hunter?!"
"I don't know much, only that he was a viking. One of the first ones to find the cursed continent Vinland." As I paused to let them process my words, they put on expressions of wonder as they got closer. "He descended down the Dungeons of Fear and Hunger to hunt down the man who murdered his entire village." Mister August also told us the story at some point. Apparently, the Bremen Kaiser was the same asshole who killed Ragnvaldr's village. I confirmed it through his memories.
"How horrible! That's... why would anyone do that?!" It was medieval times, Midori. A time where savagery was normal and accepted. "I... see." Thank the Gods that last last part about his memories didn't slip through.
"Dungeons of Fear and Hunger? Like the God of Fear and Hunger?" Yes, Yuzu. That God was born in that dungeon. "To have such a name, what a terrible place it probably was." Well, she's not wrong.
"W-what happened next?!" Momoi asked, eyes wide in anticipation.
"D-did Rag- uhmm, Ragenva- how do I pronounce that?" Rag-n-val-dr, Aris. "Thanks Sensei. How did Ragnvaldr get justice for his village?" Hmm, I don't want to disappoint them but...
"Sadly, Ragnvaldr never got justice for his village." Naturally, they're distraught to find out about that. "But he did find new purpose upon leaving the dungeons, having slain all the monsters and abominations inside it." Their heads are up again, glimmering in admiration.
"He went on to hunt and slay every monster that hunted and feasted on humans. He even went back to Vinland and about a few centuries later, there's now a sizable human colony on the once cursed land."
"Wow! That's so cool!"
"Amazing, and you say he's real, Sensei?!"
"A hero... he's a legendary hero..."
"That's... so kickass!"
A smile forms itself at my lips as they all gushed on about Ragnvaldr the Monster Hunter.
"Yeah, he's awesome alright. He slew so many monsters that they became just bedtime stories. While mothers told their children about scary monsters in bed, the monsters themselves checked under their beds for Ragnvaldr." I paused again, because they may very well create a second sun with how bright their smiles of admiration are. "And get this. In some places, he's known as the God of Ultraviolence."
"Alright, that does it! TSC2's story will be about Ragnvaldr the Monster Hunter!" Momoi proudly declared, followed by absolute agreement and applause from her friends.
"That aside, can you girls show me the game you made?"
"O-of course, Sensei!" Again, I waited for them to boot up, as they're stating it, the game. Then they gave me the controller. Alright then.
Tales Saga Chronicles.
"As the name suggests, our game is one of a classic fantasy RPG with a fairytale like atmosphere." I heard Midori explaining as I pressed start.
[On the year 2354 of the Cosmic Calendar, humanity was engulfed in-]
"Of course, it took inspiration from other games and media." Midori, if it was gonna be set in a fairytale setting, then the year should've been a long time in the past. "Sensei... you're talking like... them." I mean, the God of Fear and Hunger was born in the late 1500s, so it kind of fits.
"S-Seriously?! I would've thought a God to be much more older!" That's a normal thought process, Yuzu.
The screen finished it's loading, showing a blocky moving film. It's... a lush green forest, my character, I think it's a knight, is viewed from the top down. There's a sword infront of him floating.
[Tutorial start]
[Press B to equip the weapon infront of you.]
I do just that a-
[Game over.]
The game announced as a somewhat distorted music fit for funerals started playing.
I hear Momoi laughing her as out behind me. "Where's the fun in always knowing what to do? The trick is you should've pressed B!" Momoi... I think that's a good idea but with a terrible execution. "Huh?! R-really?!"
"Levi-Sensei... you really think so?" Yuzu asked, I think she's... happy? dejected? A mix of both hearing what I said going by her expression.
"Yeah, this part of the game is supposed to teach players the basics, right?" I asked, to which she nodded. "How can people play if the tutorial is like this? It would've been better if... if it was like offering a prayer or ritual to Gods, but it's not clear which sigil or set of rituals and prayers belong to which God." We wasted a few ritual circles back in Prehevil, we would've wasted more if we didn't have Marina or O'saa.
"I don't know if that translates well to videogames or it's features, in terms of how it works or whatever but those are my thoughts." Yuzu is looking at me... are those tears of joy?
"Hearing Aris speak so highly of TSC... and now, hearing your guidance... thank you, Sensei!" No problem, Yuzu. I'm just happy to help my students. "O-of course, applying the idea you gave me... should be ezpz!" Well, she's happy so I won't ask what that last word meant.
I pressed the continue option, pressing B this time as-
[Combat start!]
The scene changed, a... slime or something is infront of the screen. Looks like an interface or some kind is on the screen, scrolling down the options... I'm supposed to choose my actions? Pressing attack, the interface changed and the slime enemy was flashing white... hmm...
"What's the matter, Sensei? It's just a slime..." Momoi...
[Mind Read]
Imagine the surprise on his face once the puny jelly pulls a gun out!
"Alright, Momoi. What do I do here?" Hearing me ask that, she backed away awkwardly looking around feigning ignorance.
"Sensei, navigate and exterminate. Use the "escape" skill and attack from behind." Aris explained, reaching a hand over to the controller and pressing some buttons. Then, I'm back in the top down view.
Hmm, these are directional buttons. Adjusting my hold on the controller, I pressed the navigation buttons with my index finger and guided mt character behind the supposed puny jelly.
[Victory achieved!]
"See! That's the fun with retro games, it's like a puzzle you must solve and can get creative with!" True, but Momoi...
"Again, making a circus show of the tutorial would be a bad idea... I think." I explained as I began playing once more, setting the controller down on my lap so I could easily use the directional buttons.
[Combat start!]
Another ingame fight started, it's a human bandit. Pressing the attack option, the cartoonish image of the bandit starts flashing white... the entire body.
"Momoi, does it just target the entire body from the get go?"
"Huh? What kind of question is that?" Momoi asked in confusion.
"Yes, Sensei. That's how all RPG combat works." I see, Midori.
"Sensei, do you have another idea in mind?" Yuzu asked, eyes wide and focused on me as she pulled out a phone and started tapping. "I... would appreciate your g-guidance, please!" Of course.
"Make each limb targetable, as well as giving some it's own turn to either attack or do something. That's how it works in real combat."
"I see... like Dead Space. That would be... new to RPG's." Yuzu remarked as she tapped away on her phone. Yuzu, what are you tapping away for? "Oh? I'm just typing down your suggestions, Sensei." I see, that's convenient.
"Oh, I get it! While the enemy attacks with a sword with his right hand, he can block or shield bash with his left!" Yeah, that's right Aris! You're a genius! "Of course I am! I'm a hero with my Sword of Light!" Oh yes you are! I couldn't stop my hand from letting go of the controller and bringing it up to her head and patting her.
She starts giggling with her eyes closed, obviously enjoying the attention and affection I'm giving her.
"Ragnvaldr the Monster Hunter along with the ideas Sensei gave us..." I heard Momoi muttering. "With the G.BIBLE in our hands, TSC2 could be game of the century!" A lot happens in a century, so probably not.
"But... we'll have to go back to the ruins." Midori said, sounding a little afraid.
"Uhmm- I'm coming." Yuzu said, she looks resolute.
Looks like I'm going back there no matter what, Yuzu... just has that fire, that will in her eyes.
"Arona, call Reila over. We're gonna need here."
"Huh, Sensei? Who are you talking to?"

Hoshino P.O.V
Life is great, life has been great ever since Levi-Sensei came along. We dealt with Kaiser, we bought back proper and rightful Abydos land and property, and the debt... is gone. I didn't want Nonomi paying it back then because that would mean giving Kaiser a lot of money but...
I asked her to do so anyways... I was weak back then, but... somehow, I feel like I did the right thing. We no longer had such a heavy burden weighing us down and... they looked so happy when I asked Nonomi to pay it. That... makes it more than worth it. Heck, Yume-senpai is even back! Well, not exactly but she is here.
And now... we're getting a hundred more enrollees! Sure, they might be former Kaiser PMC employees but... they're victims themselves. They had nowhere else to go and Kaiser took advantage of that, they need a place to be and Abydos... my juniors and I, are willing to provide.
Serika-chan and Ayane-chan are busy processing and stamping approvals on their applications upstairs, Nonomi is doing some fancy talking with, I believe that former Trinity girl's name is Tomoe Mami. And Shiroko-chan, she's talking with Mami's blue haired junior.
"Miki Sayaka, apostle of justice!" The short blue haired girl, introduced herself with a confident smirk in a flamboyant way. Uwaah, these young uns are making me jealous with their energy.
"Nn, Sunaookami Shiroko, your senpai!" Yeah, Shiroko-chan is usually not showing much emotion. "Call your friends over, I have a speech." She said, and then Sayaka started shouting to the girls with gasmasks motioning for them to come closer.
With Sayaka by Shiroko's side and the girls all waiting in a symmetrical formation, Shiroko-chan cleared her throat as she pulled on her guns charging handle.
"Tomorrow, 6:00 AM. We're robbing Stygian Bank!" Of course she would be doing something like that. The girls in uniform all let out confused and befuddled noises, with Sayaka who's so utterly flabbergasted that it took a moment for her to register Shiroko-chan's words.
"Huh?!" Sayaka-chan exclaimed as she turned her head to look at Shiroko with her usual smirk. "But S-Shiroko-senpai, we c-can't do that!"
"Nn, we can! It's not a crime if we aren't caught, and it's not a crime if it's against Kaiser!" Jeez, if only she always had that kind of energy then she would be much more cuter than she already is.
I see Mami looking at Shiroko-chan concerned, and Nonomi is laughing it off. I let out a giggle at the realization, she- no, not just her. These new juniors are probably thinking we're weirdos.
"Yeah! Kaiser payed by the hour instead of the actual work yet they still had the gall to tell us to work harder!" Oh goodness, Shiroko-chan already has someone willing along the ranks of our new juniors!
"Kyouko! Mind yourself, you should be acting more presentable to our new schoolmates!" Ah, I see that Mami is the mother hen of their group. Their very own tired and overworked Oji-san if you will. Uwah, I'm actually jealous of how much more energy she has while still working so hard.
"That's fine, Mami-san. Abydos is a free spirit, Shiroko-chan even more so." The ever so cheerful Nonomi reassured Mami who just looked back at her weirdly, then Nonomi leans over to whisper something into her ears.
"Eh? Huh?! You're the ones..." Going by Mami's expression of shock and disbelief, Nonomi probably told her of the Masked Mizugi Gang stuff back then. I sigh out with a smile as I remembered those times.
Hmm, who's that behind me? Their very own pinkette like me, and the gloomy one sticking by her side.
"Uhm, Hoshino-senpai it's nice to meet you. I'm Kaname Madoka!" She, Madoka-chan, politely introduced herself with a bow. How great, not kuch youngsters these days show respect to their elders.
"Nice knowing you, Madoka-chan. I'm Takanashi Hoshino, Abydos' resident oji-san." I introduced myself back between yawns. I mean, it's really hard staying up with all the work I do. "And you are?" Hmm, the gloomy one... her eyes.
"Yes, it is certainly nice to- huh, Senpai? Your smile is gone." Madoka-chan said as the gloomy one and I stared back at eachother. She... her eyes, it's the same look I had back in those days... ugh, that takes me back.
"Homura. Akemi Homura." Short, and quick to the point. She flicks her long black hair freely flowing down and back into place.
"Oh, a chuunibyo I see." I said with a, no doubt, goofy looking smile as I walked towards her.
"E-excuse me?!" Homura-chan asked back with a slight blush in her cheeks, definitely ticked off. Before she could react, I dash infront of her. She widened her eyes as she tried jumping back, but there's no escaping me young lady.
I reach her face, and I grab it... stretching the edges of her lips upwards with my thumbs. She, of course, glared at me.
"There, now you look much cuter!" I said, my smile remaining in place. I mean, she does look cuter with a smile.
"Yeah! Homura rarely smiles, she's always worried about me." Madoka-chan said, sounding really happy and amused with what I did to her dear Homura-chan. "You should really smile more, Homura." Hmm.
"That sounds more like a demand than a request, Madoka-chan."
"Uhm... that's not how I meant it, Senpai."
"Hmm, no need to be shy. I thought at first that you were the bottom, imagine my surprise realizing Homura-chan here is the bottom!" I laugh like an idiot, because the pervy oji-san strikes again! Well, not again... I just started, but I struck and that's all that matters!
"Uhmm... Hoshino-senpai!" Madoka-chan whined out, her cheeks taking a deep shade of red in its form. Oh, how cute my new juniors are to tease! How about Homura-chan? She's no doubt going to be cute! I turn back to look at-
Eh? She's gone... and my arms are restrained from behind. Those sleeves? "Homura-chan, you shouldn't be too rough with your elders!" I half whined, half yawned out.
"I don't see why I should follow the words of a pervert." I see, she wasn't just gloomy. She's also a tsundere that's rough around the edges but is actually soft in the inside, she wouldn't be hanging out with Madoka otherwise. Like Serika-chan!
"I didn't even notice, Homura-chan. Did you pull of a "Za Warudo" or something?" Knowing that Sensei and his magic are the real deal, tha- I just heard Homura-chan gasping! "So you did! Did Sensei teach you! That's a dangerous ability, ya know?"
"... Yes, it is."
"Yeah, that's why we have to stop Sensei from using it! He's probably using it to flip skirts or something!" Of course, I'm just joking. But Levi-Sensei... he's still a young energetic, and most likely, hormonal man. He's bound to be caught lacking at some point... now, if only it was with me...
"Y-yeah, he probably does." I felt Homura-chan loosen her hold, and that's all I needed to free myself. I jumped up and back at Homura-chan, then keeping my legs curled up as I passed through her legs. Now, she's hunched over with my arms wrapped around her head. She's looking at me all surprised and stuff.
"You're a hundred years too early to be taking me on, little Homura-chan." I couldn't help but smirk looking back at her upsidedown face as I said that one liner, it's like I'm actually an old kungfu master in one of those retro movies or something.
"Y-yes, I suppose I am." I whine out in disappointment as Homura-chan regained her composure, her expression going back to one that's hiding what she has in her mind or heart as I let go and we stood back straight up.
"Yeah, Homura-chan is just really shy." Hearing Madoka-chan say that, Homura-chans cheeks turned to a deep red blush. She looks away, trying to act cool and all that.
Hmm, I see Yume-senpai floating towards me.
"Hoshino-chan, Reila-san left to help Levi-Sensei with something in Millennium."
"Is that so? Did she say anything about... how I can touch you?" That might sound a little creepy for my dear juniors watching and listening, but I'm sure they understand.
"Well, she said something about cursing a pair of gloves or something." Huh? That doesn't sound ominous at all. "To give it otherworldly or magical properties, so it can make physical contact with supernatural stuff." I see, that makes sense I suppose.
"Uhm... Yume-senpai, may I ask... how..." Of course, Madoka-chan would be nervous asking or even speaking to Yume-senpai. I mean, she's a ghost!
"Oh, this? Levi-Sensei, as Hoshino-chan called him, casted Necromancy on me!" She happily explained, bringer a hand up and presenting herself... her hand, grazing her soft and pillow like milkers. Sensei got a hold of it and I can't, that's so unfair!
"N-necromancy?! That's informative, but... I meant... was it painful?"
"Ah, I see... I don't like thinking back to it, but... it was morbidly peaceful." Is Yume-senpai talking about... when she... in the desert... "It was like a dream or a nightmare until I woke up as a ghost. Don't worry, Madoka-chan. I won't allow what happened to me to happen to anyone else!" Yeah, she was always worried about others more than herself.
"I see. Thank you, Yume-senpai."
"D-does anyone else know? I mean- just the implications of ghosts and necromancy!" Huh, Homura-chan is so worked up about ghosts. I mean, yeah. A lot of people would probably be freaking out, but it wouldn't be a big deal once everyone got used to it.
"Could it be that you're still scared of ghosts even with how cool you act?" I yawned as I teased out, and look at that Homura-chan blushed! Oh, the tsun tsuns are really cute once they're blushing!
"N-no, but still it's n-necromancy!" Homura-chan loudly said again, eyes wide still in disbelief as her arms flailed around.
"It's not that big of a deal, Homura."
"B-but Madoka! It's... It's..."
Hehe, they're so lively together. Most would expect Madoka-chan here to be the damsel, but Homura-chans the one being reigned in.
Hmm, there's Mister Mikhail and Eugene.
"Student Council President of Abydos, Kuchinashi Yume. Vice President of Abydos, Takanashi Hoshino. It's an informal request for now, but we're asking for your permission to headquarter a defense contracting company here." The automaton brigade commander Mikhail politely asked with a bow.
"Hmm, I see. Anything else we should know?" Yume-senpai asked with suspicion at the former Kaiser employees. I... trust them, they're trusted by these girls enrolling here. And remembering Levi-Sensei's drunken ramble on adults being like us... they're really not that bad... most of them at least.
"We do so with Reila's suggestion, to create competition and rival Kaiser Corporations power and influence in security contracts." I see... Kaiser is still kind of going around and throwing their weight, but with another elite armed group rivaling them...
"Hmm... sure, but you also have to serve as Abydos' new principal." Huh? That's... actually a decent idea coming from Yume-senpai.
The automaton, at least one of them, snapped his head up and started shaking it left and right. "P-please, I'm not that good with children or bureaucratic matters. I'm certain that Eugene here would be much more qualified!"
"Bro, not cool." The other automaton, Eugene, said with a deadpan tone. Pft, I had to cover my mouth to stop myself from laughing out loud. They... they really are just like us, goofy and stuff. "I'm great at office and bureaucracy stuff, but he? He's almost like their papa bear!" Mister Eugene said, both arms motioning towards Mikhail who in turn flails his arms around in vehement denial.
It's great finally knowing that there are many more adults like them, and it's great that I'm finally meeting them. They could've appeared much more earlier, but... better late than never I guess.

Rewrite. Suzumi fight scene in chapter 1.
Levi P.O.V
We've walked pretty far now, around us are damaged roads, destroyed cars, and looted stores yet somehow it's still looks better than all of Prehevil.
Yuuka is walking ahead of me with an obviously overconfident aura. The earlier victory got to her mind, I see.
Ah, more are here. I can't see the enemies but I can still feel the danger. 5 years in combat gave Me that kind of sense.
I once again grab Yuuka and yank her into cover as she let out an indignant Yelp followed by complaining.
That was the right call as bullets where sprayed om where she just was, I look at the enemies. I hear Rin call them "Sukeben" over the small convenient radio on my ear. Delinquents in grey uniforms and a facemask with a cross on it.
There's too many to count and I tell the other two to take cover just as they unleashed their full firepower and we were pinned down in an instant.
Bullets whizz and fly above us, some hit the concrete we're hiding behind for cover, I can't see us getting out of this.
The absolute worst case scenarios storm my brain as I panic and franticly look around for anything.
I didn't have to wait long as someone threw a grenade at the Sukebens.
"Flashbang!" I hear Hasumi cry out, huh? Flashba-
My thoughts are interrupted as Chinatsu covered my left and only eye and then pulled me down, keeping me like that until I heard a sudden loud bang followed by some screaming and gunfire.
I pry Chinatsu's hands off of my head to peek out of cover, all the enemies in sight are disorientated covering their ears and closing their eyes but they seem to be recovering.
Ratatatatat!
I turn my head and see the white haired girl with a wing sticking out of her head. She slams the buttstock of her gun on a Sukeben further discombobulating her, then she pushes her back onto the Sukeben using her as a shield on her rear as she opened fire on the enemies in front of her.
"Cover her!" I shouted out, bolting out into danger with my Lugr at the ready.
Bang!
And that's one less enemy who can fight back until she kneels to pick it back up. Thankfully, Hasumi landed a shot on her head and she dropped down.
Then Yuuka sprays the ones further to the right full auto, some burning hot casings hitting my head as they were ejected. I dropped my head lower to avoid more of Yuuka's hot casings, my ears ringing just barely above being deaf as I looked to the left.
The Sukeben the girl with a wing on her head recovered enough that she's wrestling the white haired reinforcement of ours for her gun. I just now notice that her clothes have some cuts here and there, same with bruise's in her skin. She's exhausted but still fighting, that's amazing. But the ones she sprayed earlier are somehow still alive!
I bolt up and start charging their left flank as I aimed my Lugr.
"Levi-Sensei! Get ba-"
Bang!
And down that one's weapon went, her hands trembling from the sudden vibrations forced upon her hands. Sorry, Chinatsu but as a man I should be the one leading.
Bang! Bang!
And now, the three of them are now with trembling hands and no armaments. They turn their heads to look at me with rage, then it morphed to eyes wide in disbelief probably at how horrible I look as other people here have.
But that's not important at the moment, what matters now is that I can take them down without killing them!
[Engarde]
Still charging the three of them, I jumped with all the force my lower half could muster as I brought my feet up to land on any one of these three.
I kicked the one in the middle away, she stumbled back gaining the full attention of the one wrestling wirh the white haired girl. Thats all the distraction the girl with a wing in her head needed, she yanked her gun back kicking the Sukeben in the knee and slamming her guns buttstock on her head knocking her out.
Well, at least I assume she's knocked out, her halo's disappeared.
That aside-
[Barehand Proficiency]
Dropping my Lugr, I slam my fist on Sukeben to my left but... she didn't react. She just looks annoyed.
I grab her by the hair, dragging it as I mived forward and her along as she yelped. The white haired reinforcement of ours sees me, she then brings her rifle up and slammed it at the Sukeben I'm dragging along which knocked her out.
She looks past me, glaring at the remaining Sukeben behind me. She then ran past me, beating the Sukeben as she yelled out in pain.
Hmm, there's still a few infront of us. One of them stands up aiming her gun at me, but Hasumi easily picked her off.
I see Yuuka running towards their flank as their focus is all on me, leaving her once again open as she smirked.
"Out the way now, Sensei!" Without skipping a beat, I jump up their cover and onto the other side to get myself out of Yuuka's line of fire. I felt little rocks sticking to my forehead as I landed, hearing the screams of Sukebens being decimated by Yuuka's full auto.
That's done, I guess. May they rest in peace. I see the white haired girl with a wing in her head limping into view as I picked myself back up.
"You... you're the... Sensei Acting President Rin... told me... about." She spoke in between huffs, catching her breath. "I am... Morizuki Suzumi." She's the one Hasumi said went back to her school as reinforcement, all by herself... and she went back here again acting as a lone reinforcement to us.
"I'm Levi, just Levi. You... you're really good." I praised, looking around and admiring what her support brought us.
"Suzumi, how's the situation in Trinity?"
"Everything's... stable. Tsurugi-san... has it all covered... along with the Remedial Knights." Remedial Knights? That sounds awesome.
"I see, that's great news! But... did you run all the way back here after stabilizing the situation back in Trinity?!"
I see Chinatsu rushing to Suzumi with a hand in her large medical bag. She pulls out bandages and... I think those are to prevent infection or something.
Chinatsu taps at some of the scratches in Suzumi's face with a cotton ball wet with what I assume to be a disinfectant, to which Suzumi winced but didn't avoid. Chinatsu then started applying bandages on her.
"Thank you, Gehenna Prefect member." Suzumi said with a smile. "Now, I heard you were in a mission to bring peace back to Kivotos. I'm here, where to now?" Running possibly around an entire city while occasionally engaging in direct combat, yet she's still ready to kick ass... Suzumi is really strong.

Serika rescue rewrite
Hoshino P.O.V
We drove by car ahead of the kidnappers expected path. That supposed tracking magic Sensei had was dubious, but it worked as we see rows of vehicles ahead of where we're aiming. Hmm, that's a flak right there... how'd some thugs get their hands on that thing?
"Shiroko, drone strike the leading vehicle!" Sensei shouted, followed by Shiroko-chan's drone manifesting as ir flew high uo and unleashed it's rockets.
The front vehicle explodes into flames as the vehicles following all swerved to the sides as the remaining rockets from Shiroko-chan's drones damaged some.
That truck... should be where Serika-chan is.
"Ayane, bomb the rear but avoid that truck." Sensei ordered once more, and I immediately heard Ayane-chans drones flying high up followed by the unmistakable whistling of mortar rounds.
The drone bombers hit their marks just as the helmeted thugs got out, and where promptly blown away by the combined explosions of the ordna6droppes and the cars they were using.
I widen my eyes slightly in surprise as I saw Levi-Sensei walking out of cover, teeth in his right arms sleeve as he's pulling it up towards the elbow. Then, walking towards a deformed and sharl piece of metal and... sliding his wrist on it... blood making a puddle beneath his feet.
I heard Shiroko and Nonomi yelling out in worry, I am as well considering he's just needlessly bloodletting but... he doesn't seem the least bit bothered. Then suddenly, a fleshy skinless head floats up from the bloodbouddle... what the heck is that?!
Levi-Sensei jumps back as he casts that healing spell, closing the wound he inflicted on himself as a red skinless humanoid figure jumped up and out of the blood puddle.
The helmeted thugs are all whining, sounding scared of the thing Sensei just summoned as they loaded and manned the flak. Then, they began turning it towards the anatomy model like thing.
"Blood Golem, take their flak out!" Sensei yelled out an order, and that blood golem thing began walking.
The helmeted thugs all began opening fire as the flak was still turning. Bullets began hitting the humanoid figure, blood and pieces of flesh spurting from it wirh every bullet hitting it but... it doesn't care, it keeps on marching forward.
"Nonomi, burst fire. Shiroko, disarming shots!" And with that, my juniors began shooting. I saw some of the helmeted gangsters weapons being shot out of their hands, and then completely blown away from Nonomi's minigun fire. "Hoshino, we're charging their flanks!" And so, I began running towards their left flank as he ran to their right.
The flak stips turning, aimed at the skinless figure as it shot it's shell. The shell went through the bloody golems body, blowing a hole through the building behind it but it simply kept on walking.
Then, it started running eliciting frightened noises from the thugs as they turned and ran away. It rammed a car, bumping it away as it knelt and grabbed one from underneath and... lifted it. Easily even as it threw ir full force towards the flak, flipping it along with it's platform to it's side as the car buried it.
I see some of the kidnapper scums running my direction.
Boom! Boom!
Two were blown away easily, and the rest ran the other way. They're so scared of the thing Sensei summoned that they can't even think about fighting, just running. As if their instincts of fear were suddenly kicked up to eleven.
They stopped in their tracks as the blood golem blocked their path. What will they so now? Run ro another direction? Try shooting back? The- nevermind, they just collapsed unconscious. I mean, the flames lighting up the dark night and whatever that scary skinless thing is... is really scary.
Levi-Sensei walked passed it, and it followed after him.
"Blood Golem, open up the truck." Is that really necessary? I mean, the door is ri- nevermind, it's opening up another hole on the trucks side with it's bare hands.
"Kyaaaa!" I heard Serika-chan's expected screams of absolute fright. Because honestly, who wouldn't be scared of such a thing opening up a hole towards you?
Hmm, the blood golems head went down after hearing Serika-chan's screams. It walked away from the hole it opened up, looking back at Levi-Sensei as if asking for an answer who himself looks surprised.
"Serika's just scared, she was kidnapped and all that." Hearing that, it's head nods as... it dissolved back to blood.
Shiroko-chan then opened up the actual door of the truck, and Serika-chan... she's crying.
Whatever would've happened to her if Levi-Sensei didn't have that tracking magic... thank goodness.

A/N: I made a Black Souls Self Insert fic, I got inspired by Dr1Dess's "Seeing Red Across The Chessboard" so I went ahead and made what I had in mind.
I don't think it's gonna get a lot of updates considering I'm focusing on this fic, but it's there for whoever likes BS1 stuff.
Also, at my twitterX @Dalubhasa69420 I posted something I drew to promote it and lo and behold, our lord and savior, Toro himself liked/hearted it. Woooooh! Yeah, baby! I'll try inserting it into it's next chapter once I figure out how to put images in Ao3.
"Fairytale Shootout" is the fics name wirh the Black Souls tag.
