Author's note: Hello everyone, this is Shinobi Nexus and i want to tell you guys something. I am completing the story with this last chapter. Now i know some of you guys liked this story and enjoyed it very much to my genuine surprise. As this being my first story i guess i did a good job and tried to not screw up that much. I know a lot of people didn't liked this story because of some errors and other stuff. But i am still a newbie and trying to improve. Anyway, the main thing is that this is my last chapter and i'm ending this story. Well not exactly since i'm remaking this story and try to improve.

The name of my remake story is "Naruto the otsutsuki slayer (Remake)" I have uploaded 3 chapters so far and i think i have some what improved. Please give that story a chance and review to tell me how it was. Please no fire, some kind words will do me a lot of good and give me some confidence.

Last Chapter 33

It has been more than two weeks since naruto and the others came to this church. This church is also known as the catholic church, is apparently located in the vatican city.

When naruto saw the church for the first time, he was gobsmacked at seeing the beautiful ancient building with many intricate designs carved on it. It's a cathedral with many towers and many empty rooms where they can live with no problem.

In these past weeks, naruto has gained quite a reputation. Nowadays, he is either known as the genius magician, or the Infamous prankster demon from the hell. Now, we all know why he got the nickname the prankster demon. After all, his mischiefs are not something to scoff at. Piss him off, and he will pull a prank that will leave you traumatized for the rest of your life.

The reason for getting the nickname the genius magician, is because of naruto using not only one elemental magic but three, which are fire, wind, and lightning. Now, obviously they are not magic, but it's best if they think that he uses magical energy for his elemental attacks.

Apparently a few days ago, griselda asked naruto about his other elements which naruto simply denied, saying that he dosen't know any other elements beside wind. But griselda didn't believe him and told him that she was there, watching him using fire and lightning beside the wind. Seeing that he got caught, he reluctantly decided to tell her about his ability to use fire and lightning as well.

Griselda grew suspicious and asked naruto why he didn't tell her the truth in the first place. So he used every one of his brain cells to come up with a reason that she might believe. Quickly coming up with an explanation, he told her that he dosen't want everyone to know that he can use so many magics and make them think that he is some sort of freak, since it's unnatural for a kid his age to do magic.

She had a suspicion about the reason he made, but what he said made sense. So she believed his fake reason and told him that everyone won't call him a freak and will actually praise him for having such talent in magic.

So she asked him to demonstrate how he uses those elements. To not make even more mess as it is, he reluctantly decided to give them a little demonstration of his fire and lightning jutsu to calm their curiosity.

After the demonstration, they were very impressed and amazed at seeing a kid performing fire, wind, and lightning magic at such a young age. And from then on, they gave him this nickname.

Currently, naruto is walking towards the training ground where griselda is training xenovia in swordsmanship. The training ground is quite big since the people of the church also come to train to hone their skills. The training ground is surrounded by many trees and has only one exit, which is a small path that goes down hills.

"Tick, tang, tick, tang tang, tick!"

The whole training ground is covered by the sounds of metal hitting metal. Xenovia diagonally held the sword on her hands while breathing heavily. It has been 2 hours since she started to train with griselda who's excellent at swordsmanship.

Xenovia was about to rush at griselda once more, but she stopped when she heard someone calling her name. "Hey, xenovia-chan!" Naruto shouted from the path, which caused her to look at him in surprise. But her surprised expression soon turned into joy. She raised her hand and waved at him. "Hey naruto-kun, over here!" She shouted back at him with a smile.

Naruto saw xenovia standing in the middle of the training ground with a sword on her hand. He then saw her waving her hand while shouting. He smiled and waved back, before he slowly jogged towards her with a sad smile on his face.

Today is the day when he has to leave her to griselda, so he can start his new life in this world. And not only that but he also has to train on his own, so he can be ready for the upcoming fight with the otsutsuki's.

After a few jogs, naruto finally came to xenovia and smiled at her, happy to see her working hard. "So, you're training on swords, huh?." Naruto asked, while looking around the big training ground with interest.

Xenovia perked up at the mention of her training and nodded her head. "Yeah, i am. After all, it would be pointless if i use the excalibur destruction with no skills on swords."

Naruto nodded his head. "It's important to learn how to handle a basic sword before you go to the other powerful ones."

Xenovia nodded in agreement. "I know, and besides, i don't want to focus on the excalibur destruction only."

Naruto nodded with a smile, before he raised his hand and gave her a pat on the head, which made her a little embarrassed, but she still liked the affection.

After patting her head, naruto looked at griselda with his foxy grin. "So, what's up holy granny, how's your day going?" Naruto asked with an energetic tone.

Griselda, who was watching the two children with a small smile, grew a tick mark on her forehead. Without any warning, she grabbed his ear with her two fingers and started to pull it hard, causing him to yelp in pain. "Ouch ouch ouch! Hey, what the hell are you doing this for, holy granny? It hurts!" Naruto painfully exclaimed.

While griselda's tick mark grew even more at being called granny, xenovia is openly laughing at seeing naruto's predicament.

After a few more seconds, griselda finally let his ear go and looked away, while closing her eyes with a huff.

Naruto started to rub his ear in pain, while he gave xenovia a mock glare. Seeing him glaring, which was ruined by the tears on his eyes, xenovia laughed even harder.

If she had stopped laughing, she would have noticed naruto's grinning face. The grin that has plastered on his face, is not a normal grin. Oh no, this is a very dangerous grin. Griselda noticed the grin on his face and mentally pitied xenovia for what was about to come.

Xenovia finally stopped laughing and looked at naruto, only to see an empty spot. She started to look around to find naruto, but she didn't notice that someone sneaked behind her and stretched out their hands while wiggling their fingers.

A soft giggle escaped from the person's mouth and slowly brought their hands closer. Then suddenly, the person jumped at her and caused her to drop to the ground on her back, before the person straddled her on the ground and started to tickle her mercilessly.

Before xenovia could understand what happened, she started to laugh uncontrollably while thrashing under the person who was sitting at the top of her, while tickling her to death.

"Hehehehahaha, h-hey, hahaha, s-stop, stop, p-please stop hahahahahaha!" Between laughter, she managed to open one of her teary eyes and saw naruto sitting at the top of her while tickling her mercilessly.

Naruto gave her a playful grin before he stopped for a few seconds and let her catch some breath, before he started to tickle her once more.

"Come on xenovia-chan, you just need to say the magic word and i will stop." Naruto said with a teasing tone.

Xenovia didn't understand what he was talking about, but out of pure desperation, she didn't give that much thought and took a guess.

"P-pretty please!" She said between her laughter, still being tickled mercilessly by naruto. She tried to use her puppy dog eye, but she couldn't pull it off and was being tickled even more.

Xenovia wanted this to stop, but she still couldn't figure out what magic word he was talking about. Suddenly, something clicked in her mind and she quickly said the word between her laughter. "S-sorry!"

Naruto pretended to not hear what she said and leaned forward. "Hah, what did you say? I didn't quite hear you." Naruto said teasingly, causing xenovia to slightly glare at him with her teary eyes.

"I-i said sorry, i-i'm really sorry!" Xenovia managed to yell out the words between her laughter.

With a satisfying smirk on his face, naruto finally stopped tickling and let xenovia catch up on her breath. Xenovia tried to glare at him, but her happy face ruined the intimidation of the glare and only breathed heavily while smiling.

Naruto slowly got up and laid right beside her, supporting his head using the backpack while he stared at the sky in wonder. Xenovia has spread out her arms and legs and took a deep breath to calm her racing heart down, before she also stared at the sky in wonder.

Seeing the two children together, griselda gave a small smile before she decided to leave them alone. So she quickly took off with her white wings and flew away in the distance.

Naruto and xenovia stared at the sky and watched the clouds pass through. They didn't say anything and stayed in a comfortable silence, while breezes had passed through their hair, causing them to swish around the air.

It was very peaceful for a few moments, before suddenly, the comfortable silence was broken by our knucklehead shinobi. "Hey, xenovia-chan. There is something important i-i need to t-tell you." Naruto said in a nervous tone.

Xenovia looked at naruto with a raised eye brow when she noticed the nervousness in his voice. "Hm, what is it?" She asked with curiosity.

Naruto didn't know how to bring up the subject, but he somehow needs to tell her. Xenovia is now fully seeing the nervousness on his face, if the growing sweats and the expression on his face was any indication.

Xenovia grew concerned at seeing his nervousness. So she rolled over at the side of her, and balanced her top body with her left arm and elbow. She then leaned forward, and cupped his cheek with her other hand to make him look at her.

Dark yellow eyes met sapphire blue

Xenovia is patiently waiting for his response, while naruto just stares at her eyes with a mesmerized expression.

They didn't say anything for a while and kept staring at each other, before xenovia decided to tease him a little to pay him back for the tickle that he gave her. So she started to gently rub his whisker cheek and caused him to close his eyes in bliss and release a soft purr.

Xenovia giggled at hearing his purr and wanted to hear for some more, so she slowly got at the top of him and started to rub both of his whisker cheeks with her thumb, causing him to purr even louder.

Naruto didn't know why he was feeling like this, but he felt really good. So he didn't care who was watching him and enjoyed the sensation. He would have fallen asleep in pleasure if it wasn't for the giggling that he is hearing.

So he opened one of his eyes and saw xenovia giggling at hearing his purr. With a hidden smirk, naruto slowly snaked one of his arms around her waist and started another tickle attack, which completely took her off guard.

Xenovia squealed in surprise when she felt the tickling sensation on her waist, before she started to thresh around his iron grip while trying her best to not burst out into a fits of giggles and laughter.

Suddenly, she stopped feeling the tickling sensation and looked at naruto who stopped purring a long time ago and is now looking at her with his foxy grin.

Xenovia pouted and gave him a playful smack on the shoulder. Seeing her reaction, naruto couldn't help but chuckle. "Hey, that's not fair." She said with a cute pout on her face.

After chuckling for some more, naruto had calmed down and gave her his true happy smile, which earned him a blush and a shy smile from the blue head.

"Xenovia-chan, thank you for everything. I had a lot of fun since i met you. It was... very refreshing for me." Naruto said with a small smile.

Xenovia quickly calmed down and gave him a smile of her own. "I had a lot of fun too." She then looked down and smiled sadly. "Before i met you, i... i was very lonely and no one wanted to even talk to me. Every day, olson-sa.." She was about to use the honorific, but then a frown had formed on her face. "Everyday, that bastard olson has trained me really badly. Whenever i fail to lift the excalibur, he hits me hard and leaves me really hurt into my prison. Everyday, i-i stay on my bed, a-a-and." At this point, she started to sob, and tears started to drop from her eyes.

Feeling the tears on his cheek, he slowly got up and took a sitting position on the ground, while keeping xenovia on his lap. After sitting, he hugged her into his chest and gently rubbed her back soothingly.

Feeling his warmth, xenovia couldn't help but hug him tightly while she cried her heart out into his chest.

Few minutes later

Xenovia finally calmed down and wiped her tears with her right hand, before she looked at naruto with a happy smile which made his heart skip a few beats.

"Thank you naruto-kun, for being there for me." Xenovia said sincerely, causing naruto to sheepishly rub the back of his head with a red cheek.

"Uh, it was nothing. We are friends after all." He said with a smile, before he looked away with an embarrassed blush on his face, finally noticing their positions. "Uh, xenovia-chan... Can you, please get off me now?" He said with an embarrassed expression on his face.

At first, xenovia didn't understand what he meant. But when she looked down, she noticed that she was currently sitting on his lap. Blushing in embarrassment, she quickly got off of him in a flash and looked away to hide her embarrassed blush.

Slowly getting off of the ground, he dusted his pants and looked at the back of an embarrassed xenovia, before coughing into his hand to suppress his red cheek.

Then, his expression got serious and he spoke in a serious tone. "Xenovia-chan, i'll be blunt and i'm not gonna beat around the bush." He then took a deep breath to calm his racing heart down, which he has no idea why it's beating so fast, but it did.

After taking a deep breath, he finally said. "I'm leaving."

Xenovia froze at hearing what naruto just said. She was so shocked that she didn't move a single muscle. Her crush, is leaving her here, alone. She recently found out why she feels weird whenever she thinks about naruto. After all, she has a crush on him. But now, after hearing that he is leaving, she feels like her entire world is about to break.

But before she could burst out into tears, she suddenly felt two arms wrapped around her in a warm hug. She looked behind through her shoulder and saw it was naruto hugging her from behind, smiling at her sadly.

"Don't worry xenovia-chan, one day, we will meet again." He said with a reassuring tone, trying to calm her down.

Turning around, she gave him a tight hug while sniffling, trying her best to hold back her tears. "B-but, why... why can't you stay here with us? You can be a very good exorcist and help us in this church." She said with a sniffle, before she looked him in the eyes, and gasped at what she saw.

Pale blue lavender, she saw two pairs of pale blue lavender eyes which were accompanied by many veins popping out at the sides of his forehead. His eyes stayed like that for a while, before he closed his eyes and went back to normal.

Naruto then looked at her with his sapphire blue eyes and spoke up. "It's because, i don't belong here, nor do i belong to any other church in this world." He said in a calm tone.

Xenovia looked at naruto in shock, before she slowly shook her head in denial. "N-no, don't tell me... t-that you're." Before she could speak further, naruto had put a finger into her lips and stopped her from speaking further, causing her to blush at the contact.

"It depends on what you think." Seeing her confused expression, naruto elaborated further. "You see, my eyes have a special power that no other supernatural being ever possessed. Now imagine, if this was your reaction after seeing my eyes, what do you think what would the others think when they see my eyes?" Naruto asked with a serious tone.

Immediately, gears started to spin inside her mind before it suddenly clicked. "They would think that you are a demon or a monster." She said with a realization, before she gave him a confused look. "But if you are not a demon or a monster, why would they call you such in the first place." She asked with a confused tone.

Naruto gave a tired sigh, before he raised his hand and gently combed the back of her hair with a sad smile. "It's because humans don't understand what they fear. They think that people who are burdened with unknown powers, are nothing more than monsters." He said with a soft tone.

Xenovia contemplated his words in her mind, but she was still very confused. Before she could think further, she suddenly felt the loss of his warmth and frantically started to look around for naruto.

But when she couldn't find him anywhere, she started to walk back towards the church with a downcasted expression. She was walking down the path with a sad look, before she suddenly noticed that something was stuck on a tree. It's a paper that's been stuck with a kunai, and something was written on the paper which she couldn't read properly.

So she went closer to the tree and read it loudly. "You cannot get rid of this prankster demon so easily." Then a chibi naruto was drawn at the end, with its right hand raised upwards with a thumbs up and with one of its eyes closed while forming a grin on his face.

Xenovia couldn't help but laugh at not only reading the words, which were written in romanian language with many mistakes, but also seeing the drawing of the chibi naruto, which was very cute in her opinion.

So she tried to get the paper down from the tree, but it stuck very high up and she couldn't reach it since she was falling short. She gave an angry pout while stomping on the ground childishly. Why did naruto-kun have to stick the paper way up there? I can't reach it." She said with another angry pout, while crossing her arms with a huff.

Unknown to xenovia, when naruto disappeared from xenovia's view, a silhouette of a person was there, watching them from behind one of the trees.

A young girl who's only a year younger than naruto, was hiding behind a tree while seeing and hearing everything the whole time. She has a lighter shade of blond hair with bright green eyes, fair skin, and a petite young body.

Currently, she is looking down in sadness, while trying her best to hold down her tears. She put both of her hands on her heart while holding a small piece of paper between her hands.

She was about to leave the place and go back to the church, but before she could move, someone suddenly appeared in front of her in a blur, and put its hand on her mouth so she doesn't scream in surprise.

The person quickly looked behind the tree to see if xenovia was there or not. When the person saw xenovia leave the training ground, he gave a sigh of relief before he finally looked at the young girl with an amused expression on his face.

The girl couldn't help but blush at feeling the person's hand on her mouth. She then looked up and saw that the same blond who she was watching a few moments ago, is now standing in front of her with an amused smile on his face. "Asia-chan, what are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be in the church?" Naruto asked with a soft tone, while removing his hand from her mouth.

Naruto met the girl now named asia after the third day of arriving in the church. One day, he saw asia healing a small puppy who got hurt on the leg. Feeling amazed, naruto decided to talk to her about her powers and approached her from behind, which was the worst decision he ever made in his life. When he came closer and said hi, asia jumped in the air with an eep and instinctively gave naruto a back slap on the face, which caused him to fly towards a wall and crash into it, while making a man shape hole on the wall.

Asia blinked her eyes for a few times before she finally realized what happened. With an embarrassed blush on her cheeks, she quickly rushed towards the wall where naruto has crashed and tried to heal him while saying sorry a thousand times.

Even though the slap and the crashing didn't hurt at all, he was still amazed at seeing a little girl giving a slap hard enough to make people fly.

He shrugged off her apologies with a laugh and apologized himself for scaring her like that. They talked with each other for a few hours, asking each other some childish questions and that's how they became friends.

Asia is now looking down with red cheeks, feeling very shy to look at naruto. "N-naruto-senpai... i-i have made something for you." She said with a squeaky voice which naruto thought was cute. She then mustered up her courage and looked up at naruto with a shy smile, and with an innocent cute face which made naruto want to squeal like a little girl and hug her to death, but he restrained himself from doing it.

She then timidly gave naruto the small piece of paper who looked at it curiously, before he slowly opened the folds and what he saw surprised him. It's a picture of a chibi naruto who looks a thousand times better than the chibi naruto that he drew. But that's not the part that surprised him. What surprised him is the picture of a smaller chibi asia, who's holding naruto's right hand with a smile. At the top of the chibis, there are two words that were written in japanese. Naruto's heart fluttered when he read the two words.

"Best friends."

He read it loudly before he looked at asia, whose face got red in embarrassment before she started to twiddle with her fingers and looked away with a shy expression. What happened next completely took her off guard.

Naruto wrapped his hands around her back and gave her a tight hug, which made her blush red like a tomato, but she secretly liked his hug and hugged him back.

They stayed like that for a few moments, before they reluctantly broke the hug and stared at each other's eyes in a comfortable silence.

Bright green eyes meeting sapphire blue.

They stayed like that for a while, before the comfortable silence was broken by asia who grabbed both of his hands with her's, and looked down with a sad expression. "Naruto-senpai, do you really have to leave?" Asia asked with a sad tone.

Naruto gave a sad smile, before he hugged her one more time and spoke up. "I'm sorry asia-chan, but i have no other choice." He said with a sad tone.

Asia looked up at naruto from the hug and spoke up, while blushing for being hugged once more. "Will i be able to see you soon?" She asked with an innocent tone.

Naruto sheepishly rubbed the back of his head with a chuckle. "I don't know honestly, since I'm going for a long time, but i promise you that one day, we will meet again." He said with a reassuring tone which brightened her mood. She gave naruto a very cute smile which caused him to blush for some reason.

She gave naruto a last good bye hug, before she ran towards the downhill path and looked back at naruto, while waving her hand in the air.

He also waved his hand in the air before calming himself down. "Damn, those girls sure can make me feel weird." Naruto thought to himself with a smile, before he jumped in the air and landed on a branch, before he immediately disappeared in a yellow blur.
