A/N2: This is the last one I've got written for this challenge. I might write another tonight, just in case we're continuing a bit longer with this prompt. We'll see. There are plenty more I'd like to have a stab at.

I love Janto: They both suffer in different ways - Jack physically and Ianto emotionally - but Ianto being there when Jack wakes up is important for both of them. When Ianto becomes immortal too, Jack returns the favour. He understands what a difference it makes to wake in the arms of a loved one.

Ianto glanced up with a smile as the team returned from colleting whatever had fallen through the Rift this time. Then his head snapped up again in a classic double take and he burst out laughing.

The rest of the team glared at him; at least he assumed the vision before him was his colleagues. They were wearing the same clothes they'd had on when they left, although they didn't fit quite as well.

He forced himself to assume a serious expression.

"Sorry, took me by surprise. Right, I'll look up how to turn gorillas back into people, shall I?"
