Today was the first day back to work for both Kim and Adam. When Adam woke up he knew Kim was already up in her studio working out. Today she was doing yoga, he looked into her studio to see Kim and her instructor doing some pose he never saw before. It looked hard and he knew he wouldn't be able to hold that pose. After he caught Kim's eyes he winked and headed to the bathroom to shower before leaving for work. When he came out of the shower he wrapped a towel around his waist before stepping into her room. He hadn't noticed she was in the room staring as his glistening body. He looked in the mirror to see her locking her lips while looking him up and down.

Intelligence had caught a case and they all got to work. Adam was running background checks, checking plates and watching pod footage with Mouse. The work wasn't exciting but it helped to solve the case. The team decided to take Adam for drinks at Molly's to celebrate his first day back. He texted Kim to keep her in the loop knowing she was busy with getting ready for the show, but he wanted her to know what he was doing. As they sat around a table having drinks they talked about the upcoming holiday and plans they had made. Adam was having a great time, missing Kim but having fun. He got a notification on his phone from her instagram account with a live feed. He clicked on it right away and watched his girl dancing across the stage. His eyes glued to his phone watching her every movement. His team was confused and looked to see what it was. "Looks like he's watching the ballet live on his phone." Kevin shrugged watching as the feed ended.
"Assuming that was Kim?" Jay asked. "Yeah sorry. Her assistant must have posted it." Adam tried to shrug it off but they all saw it on his face. "Dude you love her! Already!" Kevin busted out laughing. He knew it was bad but he didn't expect it to be this bad. "I don't know. Maybe I do. I know she's all I think about. I know we have an amazing connection. I probably do but it's too soon to say it." Adam sighed thinking they were probably right. "So yesterday? What was up?" Erin asked curious about Kim's uncomfortableness. "Yeah we talked. She was afraid if she really talked about her phone call that she would be judged and I would leave. Her life is very different than mine. We both know that and she's afraid I can't or won't be able to handle that. I completely get it. Her life is crazy, she gets to things most people never will but I like how down to earth she is about it all." Adam explained hoping they got it.
"She's famous. No matter what things will be hard but that's okay. You guys will work it out." Erin saw how much he liked this girl so she went easy on him instead of busting on him. "She invited me to one of her events in New York. I want to go if I can get time off. She's really excited about it so I think putting in the effort to try and enjoy it would be good. Even if I have no clue about any of it." He really did want to try for her to be apart of her world. "Well that's a good start. Just go with that." Kevin patted his shoulder and went to grab another round. It was starting to get late when he got another notification on his phone from Kim's account. He clicked on it right away and watched the black curtain open and some people come out bow and go back and then an announcement started. "Welcome back to the stage after a week off to help her partner recover from surgery Kimberly Burgess!" The crowd applauded as she came out and bowed several times. The feed panned out to show the crowd standing for her, cheering for her. He smiled sadly but fondly. Partner? For now that would work.
He headed home after that he was tired and needed to sleep. As he drove his phone rang, it was Kim. "Well hello beautiful. I saw your standing ovation." Adam said with a smile.
