Chapter 15: Fire & Ice
(Intro)
The Raptors were flying through the air on their skimmers. "Are we there yet, boss? Are we there yet?" Leugey asked eagerly. "Quit bothering Repton! We get there when we get there!" Hoerk exclaimed, tossing a can at Leugey. "Leave him alone, boys. Leugey's just excited. And so, he should be." Repton said. Hoerk and Spitz were confused. "Tell us the stories, boss. What was it like then? Tell us again." Leugey pleaded eagerly. Repton chuckled at his brother's eagerness. "My little secret paradise. We're talking desert, boys. Scorching sand as far as the eye can see! I'm taking you to Lizard Paradise!" Repton explained.
But when they got to the terra, the entire place was nothing but cold and snow. "I don't know. I pictured something…warmer." Leugey said, shivering along with Hoerk and Spitz. "Someone's gonna pay for this!" Repton exclaimed as he was shivering too.
Meanwhile, the Storm Hawks were on the very same terra, visiting the Absolute Zeroes for a festival. The Absolute Zeroes were recklessly zooming about on their racing track and crashing into each other in midair. "I know this is supposed to be a festival, but these guys are seriously out of control." Piper said. "I know. Isn't it awesome?" Aerrow asked. Aria and Piper usually got annoyed when Aerrow got into these thrill-seeking festivals. "Hey. If it's any consolation, I understand how you feel. I sometimes question the actions of my friends here." Amy Lu said. "Thanks, Amy. I appreciate that." Piper said. "Me too." Aria said.
One of the Zeroes, Billy Rex, drove on his skimmer…backwards. When he rode off a ramp, he crashed into an ice pillar. The other male Zeroes were worried at first after he landed in the snow. But he got back up like he didn't even feel it and cheered. "That should not be fun." Skyla said. As everyone else started cheering along, Aria, Piper, Skyla, Starling, Stork and Lavender walked off. "Okay, beauty jombie, let's give 'er up for Billy Rex!" An announcer called over the P.A. Just then, Piper's eyes caught onto something. "Guys, check it out! This is what I really wanted to see." She said. It was a crystal in a display case. "What kind of crystal is that?" Lavender asked. "It's a Blizzard Crystal." Piper said. "Whoa! I heard that this crystal is so powerful, it can cover an entire terra in snow." Starling said. "It's really that powerful?" Aria asked. "Aye. Thanks to it, we got a new home." The Blizzarian, standing next to the crystal, said. "And I got a case of extreme thermal paralysis." Stork said, holding up his right arm, which had become numb up to the elbow. Lavender inspected it. "Oh yeah. It's totally numb. Only a matter a time before the whole arm." She said. Suddenly, a snowball hit Stork in the head. He glared over to Finn, Junko and Judy, who were having a snowball fight. "Sorry." Junko said sheepishly. "We'll be on the Condor." Stork said before he and Lavender walked back to the Condor.
Meanwhile, the Raptors discovered that the Blizzarians were behind the deep freeze in their Lizard Paradise. "Looky, boss. But I thought the Cyclonians took over Blizzaris." Spitz said. "They did! And it seems those mangey Blizzarians are scratching for a new home. Not for long." Repton said vengefully. "All of you! Follow me!" The Raptors followed him as he walked away.
Meanwhile, Junko had entered a pie eating contest. "I don't mean to brag, but I've never lost a pie eating contest." He said. "Oh, is that a fact there, Junko?" Billy Rex asked. Suzy Lu blew an air horn and the contest began. But as Junko bit down on his first pie, he didn't even break through the crust. "Bet you didn't know. We here like them frozen." Billy Rex said. Aerrow and the others got really worried as the other competitors ate through their frozen pies like they were nothing. "Come on, Junko." Judy said with worry. Junko thought for a second. Then he smashed the frozen pie into pieces and ate them. "Uh, how until he gets a you know what?" Starling asked. "I'd give him 3 seconds." Aerrow said. As he counted down, Junko began to feel something build up inside his head. After Aerrow reached zero, Junko screamed. Everyone watched as his head freeze up and he fainted. "Brain freeze." The Storm Hawks said simultaneously. "Oh, Junko." Judy said with a giggle.
Meanwhile, Stork and Lavender were trying to fix the Condor's heat coils. "Heat coils are supposed to heat! Is that so hard to understand?!" Stork exclaimed. The heat coils came on, but they powered down due to it being too cold. "It's no good, Stork. The Condor's way too cold for anything to work." Lavender said. Stork sighed. "I guess we'll just die together, Lavender. It's probably the least we can do for such a critical mission." He said. "At least we're together, Stork." Lavender said, cuddling up to him. "Hey! You guys still have me." Fenix said. She lay beside the Merb couple and began heating herself up. Stork and Lavender sighed as they felt themselves heat up. Sid even snuggled up to Stork on his shoulder.
Meanwhile, Billy Rex hooted after winning the pie contest. "Still pie chompin' champy." He said as Finn and Judy helped Junko, who was still feeling the effects of his brain freeze. "Don't worry, Big J. You'll thaw out eventually." Finn assured. "In the meantime, I think we should find him a big warm hat." Judy said. "Oh! I just got an idea! How about you Storm Hawks and us Absolute Zeroes do some high-speed training in the back country?" Billy Rex asked. "That would be fantastic. I can update my maps-" Piper started to say. "No, no, no, no, no. Ladies don't do the back country training, eh. You gotta stay with them girls." Billy Rex said. Piper looked over to Suzy Lu and Amy Lu before glaring at Billy Rex. "Says who?" Starling asked as she and the other Storm Hawk girls glared. "Dem's the rules in our squadron." Billy Rex said. "Sexist." Aria muttered.
"Let's rock and roll, boys!" Billy Rex exclaimed as he and his Blizzarian brothers took off on their skimmers. "Don't listen to him, girls. You can ride with us." Aerrow said. "Forget it. We changed our minds." Piper said venomously as she and the girls walked away angrily. "Are you sure? Because-" Aerrow tried to say. "Aerrow! We said forget it!" Aria snapped. Aerrow was a bit shocked by this as Finn, Junko, Riggorix and Skyler drove off. "It's okay, Aerrow. If they want to stay, that's up to them." Radarr said. Aerrow felt unsure when he got on his skimmer, revved up the engine and rode after the others. "Those boys are a hoot, eh? I like keeping my squadron trained up real good." Suzy Lu said. That shocked the Storm Hawk girls. "Wait. Did we just hear you say your squadron?" Piper asked. "Yeah. The name's Suzy Lu, Sky Knight of Blizzaris." Suzy Lu introduced as she and Piper shook hands. "Wait. Weren't you that Blizzarian who accidently took off into the sky at the race on Terra Saharr?" Starling asked. "That she was. Guess I forgot to mention that my sis is the Sky Knight of our team." Amy Lu said. "You sure did." Sky said, surprising the girls. "Sky?! What're you still doing here?" Skyla asked. "Didn't feel like going with the others." Sky said. "Why?" Piper asked as she and the other girls were confused. "I wanted to show him around the terra." Amy Lu said. "Yeah. It would appear my little sis is quite taken with the young Stormheart." Suzy Lu said. Amy Lu blushed as she giggled sheepishly.
Meanwhile, Stork and Lavender, having gotten all warm and toasty thanks to Fenix, stepped outside the Condor for some air. "Ah, now that's much better. Nothing like some nice cold air after getting all nice and warm." Lavender said. "Yeah, I suppose you're right, honey." Stork said. Just then, they saw Sky and Amy Lu leaving the village. "Well, look at that. Sky and our old friend from the race on Terra Saharr, Amy Lu, are out on a walk." Lavender said. "And it looks like they're heading towards that ice cave." Stork said, pointing towards an ice cave up ahead. "You think we should follow them?" Lavender asked. "Yes. But let's keep a distance as we follow. Don't want to interrupt any moment they might be having." Stork said. Lavender nodded, knowing what her lover meant.
Meanwhile, Suzy Lu hooked the Blizzard Crystal onto her Energy Glaive and prepared to use it. "Let's freeze it, girls!" She exclaimed. She fired a beam from the crystal and created an ice house. The Storm Hawk girls were impressed by this. "That was awesome!" Judy cheered. "You actually made this whole village with that crystal?" Aria asked. "We did up this whole terra." Suzy Lu said. "It looks really organized." Piper said. "We try. In fact, we owe this Blizzard Crystal to our old hero. The Skylight Guardian of Ice from the 99th generation." Suzy Lu said. "What? A Skylight Guardian?" Piper asked in surprise, along with the Storm Hawk girls. "Yes. You see, the Skylight Guardian of Ice was a Blizzarian. He saved our old home terra once. There was a volcano eruption. He fired a powerful ice beam to freeze the entire volcano and save our home. And this very crystal was the only thing he left us after we heard that the Skylight Guardians were betrayed by the grandmother of Cyclonis." Suzy Lu explained. Piper and the girls were saddened by that part. "In honor of his heroics, we used this very crystal to create a statue of him in the very center of our town." Suzy Lu finished. "That's a wonderful story, Suzy Lu." Aria said. "And once we heard that you Storm Hawks were the new Skylight Guardians, we hope that one day, a new Skylight Guardian of Ice will be chosen." Suzy Lu said. The Storm Hawk girls looked at each other in curiosity, wondering if there will be a new Skylight Guardian of Ice.
"Say, Piper, you wanna give it a whirl?" Suzy Lu asked, handing Piper her glaive. "Really?!" Piper asked gleefully. Suzy Lu gestured her to go ahead. Piper fired a beam from the crystal and created ice statues of Suzy Lu and her female friends. "Woah! You are just a natural there." Suzy Lu said, impressed with Piper's usage of the crystal. "Yeah, Pipe. You are an ice sculpture master." Skyla said. "Well, if the girls do all the work, they might as well get some recognition. Right?" Piper said. The girls all cheered and high-fived each other. "But that's not all, girls. When we're finished here, there's a couple dusty nowhere terras we're gonna do up right. Just like this one here." Suzy Lu said before walking off. "Well, I guess if…nobody minds." Piper said, feeling uncertain. "Course not. Who needs all that dirt and rock when you can have nice cold snow, eh?" Suzy Lu asked. The Storm Hawk girls were confused and uncertain about Suzy Lu's motives as they followed. As they left, the wind blew off some of the snow around the ice sculpture, revealing a frozen little creature called a Leaper.
Meanwhile, Sky and Amy Lu were sitting at an ice ledge near the entrance of the ice cave. Amy Lu told Sky the same story about the Skylight Guardian of Ice of the 99th generation. "Wow. He must've been pretty powerful to have frozen an entire volcano." Sky said. "Yeah. He was." Amy Lu said, getting sad. "Yeah. My grandpa told us about how the 99th generation was betrayed by Cyclonis' grandmother." Sky said. "Yeah. You know, after I heard that you, your siblings and your friends had become the new Skylight Guardians, I started to dream about becoming a Skylight Guardian someday." Amy Lu said. "Well, I hope you will someday." Sky said. Amy Lu smiled at him, happy about his answer. Sky blushed a bit at her smile. Suddenly, they noticed steam coming from inside the cave. "Is there a hot spring in this cave?" Sky asked. "No, there isn't." Amy Lu said. Just then, Sky saw someone coming their way. "Get down!" He whispered. They ducked down and saw the Raptors pass by and enter the cave. "What're the Raptors doing here?" Amy Lu asked. "I don't know. But I think those crates of Fire Crystals they're carrying might have a reason." Sky said, noticing the 2 crates of Fire Crystals Leugey was carrying. Amy Lu stared at them with suspicion.
Meanwhile, the boys were riding through the snow. They entered an ice cave and drove recklessly through the tunnel. "Check her out, eh?" Billy Rex said. He drove his skimmer up the tunnel wall. "What's he doing?" Skyler asked. Just then, Billy Rex leapt off his skimmer and latched onto an icicle hanging from the tunnel roof. "ROCK ON!" The other Absolute Zeroes cheered as the skimmer crashed to the ground. Billy Rex hooted as he intentionally lost his grip on the icicle and crashed into the snowy ground. "Rock on!" The Absolute Zeroes cheered. "Uh-huh." Aerrow said, feeling a little uncertain around the Zeroes now.
Meanwhile, Sky and Amy Lu searched through the ice cave, keeping a lookout for the Raptors. "That steam had to be coming from somewhere in here." Amy Lu whispered. "I know. But from where?" Sky whispered. Amy Lu held out her hand, trying to get a feeling of warm air. Finally, she caught a feeling of warm steam coming from the right. "This way." She whispered. They followed the steam and stopped as they found Repton, Leugey and Spitz. They were dropping Fire Crystals one at a time into a fire pit. "Repton." Sky whispered venomously as he and Amy Lu hid in a corner. "This oughta heat things up. Right, boss?" Spitz asked. "Yes. And when those Zeroes are stuck in the mud, we'll pay them a visit Raptor style." Repton said as he dropped another crystal into the pit. "We gotta warn the others." Sky whispered. Amy Lu nodded. But when they tried to leave, Hoerk appeared and surprised them. "We got visitors, boss." He said. As Repton, Leugey and Spitz turned to see, Sky and Amy Lu glared.
Repton walked up to Sky and Amy Lu as the Raptors surrounded them. "I remember you. You're one of the Stormhearts. It's Sky, isn't it?" He asked. "Yeah. And what're you doing here, Repton?" Sky asked. "Oh, my brothers and I are simply taking back what belongs to us. Our Lizard Paradise!" Repton hissed. Just then, he noticed Amy Lu. "Oh? Who is this? Your girlfriend?" He asked, teasingly. "What?!" Amy Lu exclaimed. "No! She's not my girlfriend!" Sky exclaimed out of embarrassment. "Yeah, we've only known each other for a few weeks since the Great Atmos Race." Amy Lu said. Repton noticed their faces blushing hard. "I do so love toying with my prey." He said before he drew his blade. "Somebody lay down a towel. It's gonna get messy in here." Just then, Sky motioned his arms and unleashed a water pulse, blasting the Raptors into the ice wall. "Let's go!" He exclaimed before he and Amy Lu ran off. But on their way out, they ran into Stork and Lavender. Literally. "Ow." Stork said as he rubbed his head. "Stork! Lavender!" Sky exclaimed happily. "Sky, what's going on?" Lavender asked. "The Raptors are here! Apparently, Suzy Lu used her Blizzard Crystal on their Lizard Paradise." Amy Lu said. "They're dropping Fire Crystals into a fire pit in this mountain." Sky said. "This isn't a mountain. It's a frozen volcano." Stork revealed. That shocked Amy Lu. "If Repton continues feeding the fire, this entire terra will be overflowed with lava." Lavender said. "We've got to warn the others." Sky said. "You're not going anywhere!" Repton's voice yelled as they turned around and saw that he quickly recovered. But then, he recognized Stork. "You!" He exclaimed. Stork quickly fired a lightning bolt from his hand and blasted Repton back the way he came. "We better go." Lavender said as the 4 hurried out of the cave.
Meanwhile, the Storm Hawk boys and the Absolute Zero males had stopped at a ridge just above the town. "Oh yeah. This is the life, eh?" Billy Rex said. "Look, I know you probably didn't mean any harm. But Piper, Aria, Mimi, Skyla, Judy and Starling are just as part of the Storm Hawks as we are. They should be here with us." Aerrow said. "But Sky Knights don't do the bad country, eh. That's just for us squaddies." Billy Rex said, tossing a snowball at one of his teammates. "Wait. What did you say?" Finn asked. "Piper's not our Sky Knight. I am." Aerrow said. The Zeroes couldn't believe their ears. "You? You're the Sky Knight? But you're a boy." Billy Rex said unconvinced. "Me and Aria both lead the Storm Hawks. We're the children of legendary Storm Hawk leader, Lightning Strike, and the new sworn guardians of the Heart of Atmos." Aerrow said, unveiling the Heart of Atmos. "Sorry, chief. Still not convinced." Billy Rex said.
Suddenly, the ground started rumbling. And then a couple of geysers shot out from nearby. "Look, it's getting all watery over there, eh?" One of the Zeroes asked before another geyser went off underneath him. Suddenly, as Radarr stared at the geysers, his eyes glowed brilliant blue and was shown a vision.
[Vision]
The volcano prepared to erupt a massive lava flow. A new female Skylight Guardian gave a loud shout and fired a powerful beam from her hands, freezing the lava.
[Vision End]
Radarr breathed heavily as the vision ended. "What's wrong, Radarr? What did you see?" Aerrow asked, having researched Radarr's new time powers from his Skylight book. "I think we might have a new Skylight Guardian joining us." Radarr said. "But who?" Aerrow asked. "I think it was…Amy Lu." Radarr reaveled. Suddenly, the ground began shaking again. "I think we should get out of here." Aerrow said. Just then, a snowball fell on Junko's head. "Avalanche!" He exclaimed. Everyone ran, but the avalanche came down too fast, thus buried them.
Meanwhile, the geysers started erupting in the village. Suzy Lu managed to freeze one with her crystal. But then another erupted behind her and the girls. "Crickeys. There goes another, eh?" She said as she froze the geyser. "It used to be hot here, you know. I guess we haven't quite tamed it yet." She said. As she went to freeze another geyser that just erupted, the Storm Hawk girls heard a sneeze. They looked and saw a Leaper leap out from behind the frozen geyser, shaking off the snow. "Leapers!" Judy exclaimed. Piper and Aria rushed over to Suzy Lu and stopped her from freezing the geyser. "Didn't you check to see if anything lived here before you froze it?!" Piper asked, gesturing to the poor freezing Leaper. "We hollered really loud." Suzy Lu said. "That's your excuse?!" Aria exclaimed angrily. "Girls!" Sky's voice called. The girls looked and saw Sky, Amy Lu, Stork and Lavender running over to them. "Sky, what's going on?" Skyla asked. "It's the Raptors. They're heating things up by dropping Fire Crystals into a fire pit in the mountain." Lavender said. "Apparently, this terra used to be their Lizard Paradise before we came here and froze the whole place." Amy Lu said. "If they keep it up, the mountain will become a volcano and flood the whole terra with lava." Stork said. Suzy Lu gasped at this. "We gotta find the guys." Starling said. Amy Lu noticed the shivering little Leaper. "Oh, you poor thing. Are you alright?" She asked as she picked up the Leaper up and cuddled it, trying to warm it up.
Meanwhile, the Raptors recovered from Sky's water pulse and were pulling Leugey's tongue free from the ice wall. It got stuck after he hit the ice wall head first with it out. "Ow!" Leugey cried. "Quit your crying, you big baby." Hoerk said. "Can it! Both of you!" Repton exclaimed as he came back, having recovered from Stork's lightning attack. "Now listen up! We'll just have to heat things up faster. Leugey, you stay here and take care of it. Do you think you can possibly manage it?" He asked. "Yes, boss." Leugey said with his tongue still out. "Spitz and Hoerk, come with me. If that Stormheart brat and those 2 Merbs are here, odds are that the rest of the Storm Hawks are here too. We're going to find them and make them wish they were never born! And as a bonus, we'll take the Heart of Atmos too!" Repton exclaimed.
Meanwhile, the boys managed to pull themselves out of the snow. "Well, that was wicked, eh?" One of the Zeroes asked. Before they could start whooping and hooting, Aerrow, Skyler and Riggorix quickly covered their mouths and stopped them. "What is your problem?! We were nearly killed by an avalanche and you guys act like you don't even care!" Aerrow exclaimed quietly, being careful not to start another avalanche. "It's because they're bottling up their true feelings of grief." Radarr revealed. "Grief? Grief from what?" Skyler asked. "From the loss of their Skylight Guardian of Ice." Radarr said. "My powers allowed me to look at their past. On their home terra, after the Zeroes got word about the death of their Skylight Guardian, Suzy Lu used the Blizzard Crystal and created an ice statue of him in his honor. To ease the pain in their hearts, they decided to take up all these dangerous stunts and stuffs." He explained. Aerrow looked at Billy Rex. "It's true, eh. We hurt ourselves to ease the pain in our hearts." Billy Rex said sadly. Aerrow looked at the other 2 Zero males, who nodded in agreement. "We gotta get back to the village." He said.
Meanwhile, Leugey continued dropping Fire Crystals into the fire pit. "Why do I always get left behind? It's not fair." He complained. But then, he started to think. "I wonder…" He grabbed the whole crate and threw it into the pit. But then, the pit began to react differently. "Uh oh." Leugey said. He ran out of the cave as the pit erupted into a geyser of hot lava!
Back in the village, the ground started trembling harder as the mountain started steaming. "Oh boy. That is not a good sign." Suzy Lu said with worry. "Y-Yeah…" Mimi whimpered before letting out a shriek as the volcano began erupting. "Sound the alarm!" Suzy Lu called. A Blizzarian blew into an air horn, but it made a slight tingly noise. The Blizzarians covered their ears in pain. "Is it broken? I don't hear anything." Piper said. "Neither do I." Judy said. "You don't?" Suzy Lu asked in confusion. "Oh, of course. The Blizzarians have special hearing. And that alarm is like a dog whistle. And only they can hear it." Starling deduced. "And maybe Aerrow can too." Aria said.
Meanwhile, the boys managed to pull their skimmers out of the snow. "If I ever say yes to snow sports again, promise to wallop me." Finn said. "Done." Riggorix said. Just then, the male Zeroes caught wind of the alarm and started howling. "Ow! What is that?!" Aerrow exclaimed as the alarm rang in his ears too due to his new advanced hearing. "Beginner batch, eh? There's trouble." Billy Rex said. Just then, a wave of lava began flowing towards them. "Yeah, no kidding!" Finn exclaimed. "LAVA FLOW!" Riggorix exclaimed. They started down the mountain as fast as they could as the lava flowed after them.
Meanwhile, the Raptors searched everywhere for the Storm Hawks, but found no sign of them. "I know they're here somewhere. And we're not stopping until we find them and take the Heart of Atmos!" Repton exclaimed. Just then, they heard someone coming. "Quiet! Someone's coming." Repton said as a shadow passed by. "Let me show you how it's done." He leapt out at the person who made the shadow, revealing it to be Leugey. "How what's done?" Leugey asked in confusion. "Leugey, why are you out here?" Repton asked as he got off his brother. "I came to help, boss." Leugey said. "I already gave you a job." Repton said. "Yep. Yeah, finished. You said we should heat things up fast. So, I threw them all in." Leugey said. "You WHAT?!" Repton exclaimed. Just then, the volcano caused another rumbling of the terra, triggering another avalanche. "Oh no." Repton groaned as he and his Raptors got buried in the snow.
Meanwhile, the boys continued to ride ahead of the lava flow. Unfortunately, the lava flow caught up to Junko and started melting his skimmer. "Not good! Not good!" He cried as he leapt off his skimmer and landed on Riggorix's. Aerrow and Radarr leapt off some dangerous jumps to try and stay ahead. But then, Radarr's tail caught fire from a stray spark from the lava. He screamed and clamped onto Aerrow's face, causing him to steer out of control. "I think these hosers are getting the hang of it, eh?" Billy Rex said. But then, he saw that the lava caught up to him and started melting his skimmer. "I think I'm on fire, eh." He said in worry. "Billy! Hop on!" Skyler called. Billy Rex leapt off his ride and landed on Skyler's. "Aerrow, we can't stay ahead of the lava for long!" Finn called. "Then I guess it's time for an alternative mode of travel." Aerrow said. He took his scarf and unveiled the Heart. "Skylight Unite!" He called. The Storm Hawk boys transformed into Skylight Guardians, grabbed the Zeroes, who were in awe of seeing their transformation, and flew off into the sky as the lava caught up to their skimmers and melted them.
Meanwhile, as the girls, Sky and Stork evacuated the village, Suzy Lu used the Blizzard Crystal to create a barrier to block the lava. "You really think this will hold it?" Piper asked. "Uh, I gotta say…probably not." Suzy Lu admitted. "Guys!" Aerrow's voice called. Everyone looked up to see the male Skylight Guardians coming in for a landing with the male Absolute Zeroes in their arms. "No way. The Skylight Guardians!" Suzy Lu said in awe. As they landed, the Skylight Guardians changed back to their Storm Hawk form. "Aerrow, that ice barrier won't be able to hold the lava back for long." Piper said. "She's right. We need a way to stop the volcano before it destroys this whole terra." Aria said. "But what can we do? It's not like any of us have the power to stop a raging volcano." Finn said. "Yeah. Despite that I'm the Skylight Guardian of Volcanoes, I don't think I can hold off that amount of lava." Mimi said. As everyone began to think, Sky looked at Amy Lu and thought of something. "Guys, I think I have an idea." He said. Everyone turned to him as he talked. "Why don't we let Amy Lu use the Heart of Atmos to stop the volcano?" He asked. "Yeah, that's it. It's what I saw in my vision. A new Skylight Guardian will rise up and save us and this entire terra. Amy Lu is the new Skylight Guardian." Radarr said, surprising Suzy Lu and her team when they heard that. "Me? I don't know. I mean, I've always dreamed about becoming a Skylight Guardian, but I don't think it's actually possible." Amy Lu said doubtfully. "It is possible." Aerrow said. Amy Lu was confused. "Amy Lu, we may not have known you for very long, but we know as Skylight Guardians, we know when someone with a good heart is worthy of becoming a Skylight Guardian. And you have a good heart inside you, Amy Lu. And that makes you worthy to become a Skylight Guardian." Aerrow explained. He took the Heart from his neck and placed it around Amy Lu's. Just then, the Heart began to glow brightly and Amy Lu transformed into a full adult Blizzarian. As she looked at herself, an ice ball formed in her hands. "She has the power of ice. Just like our Skylight Guardian before her." Suzy Lu said in awe. "So, what do you say now, Skylight Guardian of Ice?" Aerrow asked. "I'd say…let's bring the freeze." Amy Lu said with determination.
Now filled with confidence, Amy Lu climbed the ice barrier and stood at the top as the lava flowed closer. She motioned her hands and gave a loud shout. And then, a powerful beam of ice fired from her hands and froze the lava, all the way to the top of the volcano. She looked on shocked and happy at what she had accomplished. The Blizzarians hooted and cheered as she slid down the ice barrier and transformed back to her normal age. "You did it! You DID IT!" Suzy Lu cheered as she hugged her little sister. "Nice shot there, frosty." Finn said. "Way to make a volcano freeze." Skyler said. "Thanks, guys. I wasn't sure if I even had it in me." Amy Lu said before returning the Heart to Aerrow. "But you did, Amy Lu. You always did." Sky said. Amy Lu smiled as she hugged him. He blushed as he hugged back. "I don't know how to thank you, Storm Hawks." Suzy Lu said. "Don't thank us yet, Suzy Lu. There's still one last thing we need to do." Aerrow said. The Storm Hawks grinned, knowing what their leader meant.
Later, the Storm Hawks, in their Skylight Guardian form, and the Absolute Zeroes invaded Terra Blizzaris and started driving off the Cyclonians. Amy Lu formed ice disks in her hands and tossed them at 2 of the Cyclonians, slicing their staffs in half. "Forward! We got them on the ropes!" Suzy Lu shouted. As the Skylight Guardians used their powers to fight them off, the Cyclonians retreated to their skimmers and flew off. The Blizzarians hooted and cheered in victory. Suzy Lu walked up to the Storm Hawks after they transformed back. "I really don't know how to thank you, Storm Hawks. Because of you, we have our beloved Terra Blizzaris back." She said. "You're more than welcome, Suzy Lu." Aerrow said. "Oh. And I have something for you." Suzy Lu said. She took the Blizzard Crystal from her glaive and gave it to Piper. "Consider it a thank you gift." She said. Piper was stunned by this as she took it. "Are you sure?" She asked. "We don't really need it anymore. And I think you hosers may find better use for it." Suzy Lu said. "Thanks, Suzy Lu." Piper said with a smile. "And I have one other request. I want you to take Amy Lu with you." Suzy Lu said. The Storm Hawks were surprised by this. Especially Sky. "Yes. I want her to join you guys so she can continue our hero's legacy as the new Skylight Guardian of Ice." Suzy Lu said. "It would be an honor for me to join you guys." Amy Lu said. The Storm Hawks looked at each other and nodded with approving smiles. "Welcome to the Storm Hawks, Amy Lu of Blizzaris. We look forward to having you help us protect Atmos." Aerrow said. "Thank you, Aerrow. I look forward to working with you. All of you." Amy Lu said, winking at Sky, who blushed heavily. "And if you Storm Hawks ever need the Absolute Zeroes by your side, we'll be there." Suzy Lu said. "Thank you, Suzy Lu. We're glad to have you guys as friends and allies." Aerrow said, shaking Suzy Lu's hand.
Meanwhile, the Raptors broke free from the snow. Repton glared at Leugey as he was making a little snowman. "Can we come here again next year, boss?" Leugey asked. Repton hissed as he walked over to him. Leugey cried as Repton began hurting him.
Wow! Wasn't that great? The Storm Hawks arrive at the new home of the Blizzarians on the Absolute Zeroes Squadron for a festival. But the Raptors arrived to take the terra, but ended up causing a volcanic eruption. But a new Skylight Guardian has risen. Amy Lu of Blizzaris, sister of the Absolute Zero Sky Knight, Suzy Lu. And together, both teams ended up victorious. Amy Lu managed to stop the volcano and the Skylight Guardians drove the Cyclonians off the Blizzarians' home terra. And now Amy Lu has joined the Storm Hawks. What challenges will she face with Sky and the Storm Hawks? Will Cyclonis take drastic measures once she receives the news about Blizzaris?
