Chapter 29: Infinnity
(Intro) (Storm Hawks updated with Francine)
On Terra Saharr, Piper, Junko, Riggorix and Sky walked into a tent owned by a merchant who does business with the Cyclonians. Before they left, Aerrow used the Atomic Crystal to change their appearances into Ravess, Snipe, Ratharr and Argo after hearing that the merchant was expected to meet with Snipe, Ratharr and Argo. "As I was only expecting the great Snipe, Ratharr and Argo, it is a pleasant surprise to see that the great Ravess also desires what I have to offer." The merchant said. "Just give us the black box and we'll be on our way." Piper demanded, trying to act like Ravess. "Yeah! Give it!" Junko said, trying to be like Snipe. "You know, we don't just give things on Terra Saharr. There's negotiation and formality. I get some tea." The merchant said, going to get some tea. "Yeah, you do that." Sky said, acting like Argo. "Ugh! Piper, I don't know how long I can keep this up! I feel kinda awkward posing as my traitorous brother." Riggorix said. "Well, you won't have to for much longer, Rigg. Once we fool this guy with our disguises, we'll grab the box and we'll be out of here. And so far, everything's working perfectly." Piper said.
Unfortunately, the real Snipe, Ratharr and Argo had just flown in and landed on the terra. As they got off their rides, they looked around until they spotted the merchant's tent. With sinister smiles on their faces, they walked towards the tent.
The Storm Hawks, disguised as street performers, watched as Snipe, Ratharr and Argo were making their way towards the merchant's tent. "Hawks, head's up. Snipe, Ratharr and Argo are ahead of schedule. They're on their way to the merchant's tent. We'll find a way to distract them. You guys gotta hurry up." Aerrow said through the com-link.
As Piper, Junko, Riggorix and Sky received this, the merchant returned with a tray of tea, sandwiches and fruit. "Before we complete your purchase, you must have tea and snacks." The merchant offered. "Must we? We're in a rush here." Riggorix argued. "Yeah. Master Cyclonis doesn't take kindly to tardies." Sky said. "Sugar? Lemon?" The merchant asked, not listening at all.
Meanwhile, as Snipe, Ratharr and Argo continued walking towards the merchant's tent, Vuto, disguised as a customer, walked past them. "Alright, little guys, do your thing." He whispered into his com-link. Just then, his Tormato slug hopped onto Ratharr's shoulder, unnoticed, and blew a cool breeze of air onto his neck. "Hey! Argo, do not stand so close behind me! I can feel your breath on my neck!" Ratharr exclaimed, rubbing his neck. "I'm blind, but I'm nowhere near you, Ratharr. You're being paranoid." Argo said. Just then, Vuto's Arachnet, perched on one of the other tents, spat a web in Argo's face. "Blegh! What in the name of?! Webs?! When does a desert terra have webs?!" Argo exclaimed, pulling the webs off his face. "Will you 2 stop all this nonsense?! We have a task to accomplish! So, stay focused!" Snipe exclaimed, turning around to face them. Unknown to them, Vuto's Frostcrawler was freezing the ground in front of his feet from behind, creating an ice patch. As it scampered off, Snipe turned around to continue, only to slip on the ice and fall on his back. "Ouch." He groaned as his eyes spun.
"Look, we came here for the black box, not your snacks." Piper said. But then, Junko started eating one of the sandwiches. "These are really good sandwiches." He said. Just then, Riggorix growled angrily and smacked the sandwich out of Junko's hand. "Hey!" Junko whined. But Riggorix, not wanting to argue, shoved Junko aside, grabbed the merchant and pulled him close. "Look, merchant, you can either give us the black box…or I can tear out your throat and present the black box and your corpse to Master Cyclonis." He said threateningly, setting the merchant down. "Very well. I'll be back in a flash with the…merchandise." The merchant said. "Young people in such a rush all the time." He muttered as he left. "Uh, was that too much?" Riggorix asked, uncomfortable with what he just did. Piper just motioned her hand like so-so.
Meanwhile, Ratharr and Argo helped Snipe to his feet. "Ooh, if I ever catch who did that…" Snipe mumbled as they continued on their way. Suddenly, Ratharr and Argo heard a gentle song in the air, making them stop. "You hearing that too?" Ratharr asked. "Yeah. What a beautiful song." Argo said. Vuto's Slyren was singing her lullaby nearby. "It's so soothing. I feel like *yawns* taking a nap." Ratharr said, yawning a big cat-like yawn. "Me *yawns* too." Argo said, yawning too. Just like that, they collapsed on the ground and fell asleep. Snipe heard them fall and turned around, seeing them sleeping. "Okay, you 2, nap time's over! Wake up!" He exclaimed. He tried kicking them to wake them up. But it didn't work. They were still sound asleep. Even Ratharr started drooling out of his muzzle. "Okay, that is really creepy." Snipe said, disturbed by the scene. He decided to just leave them behind to sleep as he continued towards the merchant's tent.
Meanwhile, back in the tent, the merchant returned with the black box. "A rare and valuable object inside. But my price is fair, yes." He said. But Piper just took the box. "Okay, wheeler dealer, I'm here for the black box! And I'll take the tea and snacks to go. And make it snappy. I've got 2 sleeping beauties outside." Snipe said as he walked into the tent. But then, he noticed the disguised group. "Ravess?! What're we doing here?! I mean, uh- Wait a minute! Didn't I leave you 2 sleeping outside?!" He asked in confusion. Just then, the Atomic Crystal's disguises wore off, revealing Piper, Junko, Riggorix and Sky. "IMPOSTER!" The merchant shouted.
Piper, Junko, Riggorix and Sky ran out of the tent, carrying the black box. Snipe chased after them. Ratharr and Argo jolted awake at the sound of the commotion. "What…what was that?" Argo asked. "Am I dreaming or do the Storm Hawks have our black box?" Ratharr asked. "Got it!" Piper cried as she ran past Aerrow. "Storm Hawks, we're out of here!" Aerrow called. The Storm Hawks quickly hurried to their rides and took off, but Snipe, Ratharr and Argo followed on their rides. "That black box is for Cyclonis! Hand it over!" Snipe demanded. "Oh, lighten up, stooges!" Finn exclaimed as he summoned his light bow and fired 3 light arrows at the 3 Cyclonians, knocking them off their rides. Snipe, Ratharr and Argo quickly popped their chutes as their rides fell. "Nobody does that to Snipe!" Snipe exclaimed angrily. Suddenly, a puppet of him dropped onto his fist. "A little souvenir!" Finn called. "Yes! Mission accomplished!" Aerrow cheered. "And what's inside the black box is all ours." Piper said. "So…what exactly is inside it?" Junko asked. "Huh. Good question." Aria said.
Later, as the Storm Hawks returned to the Condor, they opened the black box…only to find a small pyramid object. "This thing is what all the fuss was about?" Vuto asked in disappointment. "Well, the recon saying Snipe, Ratharr and Argo picking something up for Cyclonis was correct." Aerrow assured. "And if the bad guys wanted it, then it must be important somehow, right?" Junko asked. "But exactly how important could it be, big brother?" Francine asked. "I'm not sure, Fran. But for my brother and the other 2 stooges to go through so much trouble to get it, I'd say very important." Riggorix said. "Have you ever seen anything like this thing before, Odessa?" Skyla asked. "I'm afraid not, Skyla. I don't recall seeing anything like this before." Odessa said. "I'll have it figured out after I run some tests." Piper said.
Hours went by as Piper tried to figure out what the pyramid does. Everyone popped in to check on her progress once in a while. But finally… "Beats me." She said, sighing in disappointment. "Man, whatever that thing is, it's got Piper in the dumps." Skyler said. "Whatever it is, we'll have to figure it out later. This whole thing has put us behind getting other stuff done around here." Aerrow said. "Right. We got chores to do." Aria said. "I've been working on that piece of junk for so long, I can't tell day from night." Piper said, following the team out of the room and leaving Finn alone. "Oh, man! I know I've got chores to do, but this the night I finally take Twilight and Vuto out for our first three-way date as a polyamorous couple! Oh, what am I gonna do?!" He whined as he pounded the counter, accidentally opening the window. Suddenly, as the sunlight hit the pyramid, it transformed itself, revealing it to be a crystal and firing a beam at Finn. And then, it created another Finn! "Whoa!" They both said simultaneously, completely shocked by what happened.
Both Finns examined each other, mirroring each other's movements. "Trippy." They said simultaneously. "So, this thing is some kind of a Cloning Crystal." Finn said. "Activated by direct sunlight." Clone Finn added, shutting the window, which deactivated the crystal. "Piper's gonna flip when I tell her about this." Finn said. "Come on, Finn! That garbage chute isn't gonna clean itself!" Aerrow called. Just then, this gave Finn an idea. "Hey, Finn, I need you to cover for me while I go take my girlfriend and boyfriend out for our big date." He said. "Sure, I'd do anything for me." Clone Finn said. "And this way, we can avoid being seen together." Finn said. "Got it." Clone Finn said. "Man, I am so agreeable." Finn said with surprise.
After Finn, Twilight and Vuto left for their big date, Clone Finn worked on every chore he was assigned to do. Scrubbing the floors, maintenance on the skimmers, and stacking crates. Unfortunately, one of the crates fell off and hit him in the head. Just then, the rest tumbled over, crashing on top of him. After recovering, he went to Finn's room and sat down on his bed. "Why does Finn get to have fun with his girlfriend and boyfriend while I'm stuck doing his chores?! I'm as much of Finn as he is!" He whined. Suddenly, he got an idea. He went back to the Cloning Crystal and opened the window to activate it. "I'll make my own chore clone." He said. As the crystal activated, another clone was created. "Welcome." He greeted before handing Clone Finn 2 a mop. "Finnish the hallway. I'll be in my bunk." He walked off, leaving Clone Finn 2 depressed.
Later, as Radarr and Mimi were walking down the hallway, they passed by 2 Finn clones. "Huh?" Radarr said in confusion. "Did we just pass by 2 Finns?" Mimi asked in confusion. Suddenly, as they walked past Finn's room, they saw Clone Finn sleeping in Finn's bed. "I think we're finally losing our minds, Mimi." Radarr said. "Probably." Mimi said. Later, Piper, Skyla and Starling walked into the hanger and were stunned to see it all sparkly and clean! They saw how hard one of the clones of Finn was scrubbing the floor. "How could you get all this work done so fast?" Piper asked. "Uh…vitamins?" Finn said nervously, flexing his arms nervously. Piper, Skyla and Starling looked at each other curiously and suspiciously.
Meanwhile, as Clone Finn was resting, he suddenly felt a hand hit his face. He woke up to see another clone sleeping next to him. "Hey, loafer! What about the chores?!" He asked. "Don't worry. We're taking care of it." The clone said. Clone Finn looked out the door and saw one of the clones mopping the floor. He gasped in horror, realizing that more clones were created! He hurried out of his room to follow the mopping clone, but he bumped into Aerrow and Aria. "Whoa, Finn, you're just all over the place today. Are you okay?" Aerrow asked. "Yeah. Everyone's said you've been doing your chores quicker than usual." Aria said. "Uh, sure, no problemo, yeah." Clone Finn said before taking off. Aerrow and Aria stared after him in confusion.
Clone Finn ran into the hanger, seeing another clone hanging by the skimmers. "Hey! Those skimmers are for the others!" He exclaimed. "Look, Finn, I'm as much Finn as you are!" The clone exclaimed. "So am I!" Another clone exclaimed as he got on the skimmer. "May the best Finn win!" He took off on the skimmer and flew out of the hanger. "You created more clones?!" Clone Finn exclaimed. "How do I know you didn't do it?" The clone asked. "You did!" Clone Finn argued. "You did!" The clone argued. "Pipe down, you 2! You'll give us all away!" Another clone exclaimed. Both clones shocked by this. Clone Finn ran out of the hanger screaming in terror.
Meanwhile, in the kitchen, one of the other clones was munching down on a turkey leg when Junko and Judy walked in. "Wow. Watching you eat all day is making me really hungry." Junko said. "Me too. We'll get some snacks and join you." Judy said. But as they opened the cupboard to get something to eat, it was completely empty. "Uh…" Junko tried to say, but couldn't think of anything. "Let's try the next cupboard." Judy said, moving to the next cupboard. But when she opened it, there was another clone inside eating a sandwich. The Wallop couple looked back and forth at both clones in shock, trying to count how many Finns they're seeing right now.
Meanwhile, Aerrow knocked on the door to the bathroom as he and Aria waited outside. "Come on, Finn, hurry up! I need to use the bathroom!" Aerrow exclaimed. "Me too! You've been in there for hours already!" Aria exclaimed. Just then, another clone walked up. "Man, I could spend all day in there." He said. Aerrow and Aria were surprised to see him, wondering how Finn could be all over the place.
Later, Clone Finn was sneaking around, trying to avoid the others. "FINN!" Everyone shouted. Clone Finn turned around as they ran up to confront him. "Anything you'd like to say?" Riggorix asked with a growl. "Uh, I uh…I meant to tell you. I think I discovered what that thing in the box was." Clone Finn said, backing up against the door. But then, the door accidentally opened, revealing an entire army of Finn clones. The Storm Hawks were completely shocked and angry at Clone Finn, who chuckled sheepishly.
Later, in Piper's room, they examined one of the clones. "They're not holograms, not pods, not made of metal or paper mâché. They're real-life exact duplicates." Piper said. "Hey, is my left nostril bigger than my right? And I didn't know I had a hairy mole on the back of my neck." Clone Finn said as he examined the clone. "At least I'm a fresher and newer you, old timer." The clone said. "Hey! Don't mess with the master copy, clone boy!" Clone Finn exclaimed. "Same exact personality too." Piper groaned. "Great. Dealing with just 1 Finn was bad enough." Riggorix said. "So, how are we supposed to tell the real Finn from the fakes?" Aerrow asked. Piper took out a pencil and wrote a big X on Clone Finn's forehead, mistaking him for the real Finn. "X marks the real Finn. And as for the cloning device, we now know sunlight is the activator. How to reverse it is a whole new problem." Piper said. "It could take hours to find out how to reverse the effects." Skyla said. "It can't get any worse." Starling said. Suddenly, the Condor's alarm went off as Stork and Lavender shoved their way through the clones. "I'm afraid it just did." Lavender said. "The weight of all these Finns is overloading us. We gotta land and fast." Stork said. "Land? Where?" Aria asked. "Well, it's either where we just came from, Terra Saharr, or we could dump all the Finns in the Wastelands." Stork suggested, making all the clones gasp. Lavender smacked her boyfriend in the head. "Terra Saharr then. We'll just have to risk another run-in with Snipe, Ratharr and Argo." Aerrow said. "If they're still there." Aria said.
Meanwhile, back on Terra Saharr, Snipe was trying to shake out another black box out of the merchant while Ratharr and Argo waited outside on guard duty. "Give us another one of those gizmos in the black box!" Snipe demanded. "There's only one! And those imposters have it!" The merchant groaned from being shaken upside down. Snipe growled at that. "But I can offer you some sandwiches." The merchant offered, holding out some sandwiches. Snipe just tossed the merchant to the ground, took the sandwiches and exited the tent. "So, I guess this means we don't have anything aside from delicious sandwiches." Argo said as Snipe passed 2 sandwiches to him and Ratharr. "Cyclonis will have our hides for this." Ratharr said. Suddenly, Snipe caught sight of 2 of the Finn clones fighting over a sandwich. "Storm Hawks." He snarled as he started to walk over. "That's weird." Ratharr said in confusion. "What's that?" Argo asked, being blind. "There's 2 of that Finn character." Ratharr said. "2? That is weird." Argo said as they followed Snipe. As the clones continued fighting, Snipe grabbed the left clone's wrist. "Where's that box?!" He demanded. "Better let go of them." Another clone said as he appeared, surprising Snipe, Ratharr and Argo. "Triplets?!" Snipe exclaimed in shock. "First Stormheart Triplets, now Finn Triplets?!" Argo exclaimed. Just then, another clone tapped Ratharr's shoulder, getting his attention. "Uh, apparently more than that." He said with worry. The 3 Cyclonians found themselves surrounded by 10 clones. "What do they call it after triplets? I hate math!" Snipe groaned, clutching his head. As the clones marched towards them, Snipe grabbed one of the clones and gripped his wrist pretty hard. "Ouch!" The clone exclaimed. Suddenly, the clones repeated the same word, apparently feeling the one clone's pain. Snipe, Ratharr and Argo were stunned at what happened just now.
Meanwhile, back on the Condor, Aerrow, Aria, Piper and Clone Finn stared at the Cloning Crystal. "I'd give my right arm for an answer to this." Piper said. "Ouch!" Clone Finn exclaimed, feeling the clone's pain in the wrist. "Very funny." Piper said, annoyed. "Ouch!" Clone Finn exclaimed again. "Something's wrong here." Aria said, sensing something.
Meanwhile, Snipe, Ratharr and Argo continued looking between the clones as they continued to yelp in pain. "It would appear that if we strike one of these Finns, the others also receive the pain." Ratharr deduced. Argo poked one of the clones hardly, and the other clones felt the pain too. "I don't get it, but I like it." Snipe said, smiling sinisterly. "You thinking what I'm thinking?" Argo asked. "I believe so." Ratharr said. Snipe grabbed one of the clones and held up his Energy Mace. "Tell us where the box is or you're all gonna taste this!" He exclaimed. The clones all gasped at this as Snipe, Ratharr and Argo chuckled evilly.
Meanwhile, back on the Condor, Piper finally thought of a solution to their clone problem. "Guys! I think I figured out the solution." She said. She pulled a rope and unveiled a disco ball. The clones took that as an opportunity to start dancing, which the team found disturbing. "Uh, my old disco ball is the solution?" Clone Finn asked in confusion. "Not really. See, your disco ball is powered by a Lunar Crystal, with properties exactly opposite of a Solaris Crystal. Emitting light back into the prism might just cancel out our clone problem." Piper explained. "Oh, I get it. Moonlight will cause a reverse effect than sunlight and fix me." Clone Finn said. "Exactly." Piper said. "Whoa! Shouldn't we test it some more so Finn's not in any danger?" Aerrow asked with concern. "The crystal's already got so many fractures from overuse, it may not last much longer." Piper said, gesturing to the cracks forming on the crystal's sides. "Please, be gentle." Clone Finn said, feeling nervous.
Suddenly, a doorbell rang. "Now who could that be at a time like this?" Starling asked in annoyance. Just then, the door opened to reveal Snipe, Ratharr and Argo, plus 2 clones. "Sorry, guys." "We caved and told them." The clones apologized. After Snipe tossed the clones away, he walked up to the crystal and took it. "Now we've got the gizmo and a chance to lick it where you guys live. Huh. Pretty lame if you ask me." He said, rudely mocking the Condor. "Yeah. We've seen better ships in the junkyards." Ratharr mocked. "Nobody asked you!" Junko exclaimed. But he accidentally tripped over one of the Finn clones. Snipe tossed Junko at the window, accidentally opening it and activating the crystal. Snipe saw that he created 2 clones of himself. "What the?" Ratharr asked in shock. "That's what I was wondering." His voice said. Ratharr yelped in surprise as he saw 2 clones of himself too. "What was that?" Argo asked. "Don't ask me. I'm blind." His voice said, revealing 2 clones of himself too. Snipe slowly counted up each clone, then himself, Ratharr and Argo, coming up to 9. This gave him an idea. The Storm Hawks charged towards the 9 Cyclonians, but all 9 of them managed to beat up the Storm Hawks with no problem. Afterwards, Snipe, Ratharr and Argo exited the Condor with the crystal. But they noticed that their clones were following them. "Quit following us. You're CREEPING US OUT!" Snipe snapped at them. The clones looked at each other, thinking he was loopy.
Inside, the Storm Hawks slowly recovered from the massive beat down they were handed. "Anyone get the number on that cannonball?" Riggorix asked dizzily before passing out again.
Later, Snipe, Ratharr, Argo and their clones returned to their camp, staring at the crystal. "Give it here! We gotta get this to Cyclonis so she-" One of the Snipe clones tried to say as he took the crystal. "Why give it to her when we can keep it for ourselves?!" Snipe exclaimed, taking it back. "Yes. With that crystal, we can create an entire army of ourselves." Ratharr said. "And with more of us, we can take over the quadrant." Argo added. "We're geniuses!" They cheered as they cackled. But unknown to them, 2 of Finn's clones were spying on them and heard the whole thing.
Later, the clones returned to the Condor and told the Storm Hawks what they heard. "3 of each was bad enough. But an army of them?!" Junko asked with worry, holding an icepack on his head. "I know. That's more than what we're used to." Radarr said as Junko gave him the ice pack. "At least it's getting dark, so they won't be able to make any more clones until sunrise. But all that stress they're putting on the crystal might destroy it before we can get it back and reverse the process on Snipe, Ratharr, Argo and Finn." Piper said. "An army of those 3 shouldn't be hard to find. We're going Skylight." Aerrow said, taking off his scarf and unveiling the Atomic Crystal. "NO!" Everyone shouted as Aria, Radarr, Junko, Riggorix and Skyler jumped on him. "Hey! What's the big idea, guys?!" Aerrow exclaimed. "If you transform us into the Skylight Guardians, you might transform all the Finn clones too! That'll be too much light for us to handle!" Aria exclaimed. "Point taken. Can you all get off me now?" Aerrow asked.
Meanwhile, Snipe, Ratharr and Argo were using the Cloning Crystal to create their army. "Clones 306. Clones 307. 308, looking good! Now 309." Snipe counted. But then, the sun went down. "Hey!" Snipe exclaimed. "What's happening?" Argo asked. "Unfortunately, the sun went down. So, we're unable to make anymore clones." Ratharr said. "Stupid sun. Well, at least it's a start. First, Terra Saharr." Snipe said. "Then the quadrant!" The clones declared. "Don't count on it." Aerrow said. Snipe, Ratharr and Argo turned around to see the Storm Hawks on their skimmers. "You gotta be kidding! A couple of Storm Hawks against our massive army?!" Snipe asked in humor. "And you didn't even change into the Skylight Guardians? How hilarious!" Ratharr exclaimed. "Not quite." Aerrow said, pointing up. All of the Finn clones parachuted down from the sky. "You're not the only ones with an army." Clone Finn said. Snipe, Ratharr and Argo stared in shock as the Finn clones landed. "ATTACK!" Snipe ordered. Both armies charged towards each other and collided.
Junko got piled on by a group of Snipes, but he managed to send them flying with a pound from his Knuckle Busters. Skyla summoned a couple of vines and tangled several Argo clones up. Riggorix got held down by 2 Ratharr clones. "Face it, brother, if you can't beat one of us." One clone started. "What chance do you have against 2 of us?" The other clone finished. "Simple, 'brother.' I'd like to introduce you to my new little sister, Francine." Riggorix said. Just then, Francine charged in and shouted furiously as she fired coral balls at the 2 clones. "Ouch! Hey!" "Oh, those are sharp!" The clones cried, letting go of Riggorix. "Don't ever touch my big brother again, you big bullies!" Francine shouted furiously, chasing them off. Piper blocked one of the clones' mace with her staff, but she couldn't push him back. But then, Starling snuck up on the clone and whacked him with her nunchaku, knocking him out. Aerrow and Aria found themselves cornered by another Snipe clone. But before he could strike them, Radarr used his time powers to slow him down before walking over to the clone and swiping the mace. As time resumed, the clone swung his arm and saw that his mace was gone. Aerrow gestured behind him. The clone turned around and saw Radarr with the mace, growling at him. The clone ran for his life as Radarr chased him.
Meanwhile, one of the Finn clones fired a light arrow at another Snipe clone's mace, but the chain pulled it back together. "Our one-eyed grandmother can aim better than that!" Another Finn clone scoffed as he fired his own light arrow and split the mace in half. "Show off." The one clone said, shoving the other clone. But then, the shove affected the other Finn clones too. The 2 clones started fighting each other, inflicting pain on each other and passing it to the clones in the process. "You know, we can fight all these Snipes, Ratharrs and Argos better if you Finns stop trying to show each other off!" Piper exclaimed. "Oh, like you never show off for Aerrow." One of the clones said with a rude remark as he continues fighting the other clone. As they watched the hilarious display with the clones, Snipe and Ratharr looked at each other with sinister smirks. "I think now's a perfect opportunity to swipe the Atomic Crystal." Snipe said. "Leave it to me." Ratharr said. As the Cyclonian clones began to take advantage of the Finn clones beating themselves, Ratharr crept through the battle and snuck up on Aerrow. He gave a great leap and pounced on Aerrow. Aerrow struggled as Ratharr pinned him down by his neck. "Take pride, Storm Hawk, that your death came from a real warrior of the Warpath tribes once I take what belongs to Cyclonis." Ratharr said. But as he reached for the Atomic Crystal, it gave him a bad shock, blasting him off Aerrow. "Yeah, you try to touch my crystal, you deal with the consequences." Aerrow said as he recovered.
Meanwhile, the Finn clones were still making things worse as the 2 clones kept fighting each other, inflicting each other's pain to them all. "Seriously! Stop trying to show up on each other! This isn't helping us!" Piper exclaimed. "Well, it's helping us!" One of the clones exclaimed. "Yeah! Aerrow and Aria maybe the Sky Knights, but Finn's the only one on this team worth his own salt!" The other clone added. Suddenly, that gave Aerrow an idea. "That's it! Okay. We surrender." He said, raising his hands in surrender. That caught everyone off-guard. Except for Aria, as she could sense what her brother was planning. "We do?" Piper asked in shock. "But only to the top Snipe, Ratharr and Argo. Which one of you is the best?" Aerrow asked. "I am." One Snipe said. "No, I am." One Ratharr argued. "I am!" One Argo argued. As the clones argued, Mimi snuck around their legs and swiped the crystal. The Storm Hawks all hopped on their skimmers and took off as the clones of Snipe, Ratharr and Argo started fighting each other. "Get back to us after you sort it out." Aerrow said.
Later, after the Storm Hawks returned to the Condor, they prepared to reverse the Cloning Crystal's effect. "The crystal's in pretty bad shape. We'll be lucky if we get one shot at reversing things." Piper said, examining all the fractures from Snipe, Ratharr and Argo cloning themselves. Aerrow held up the disco ball. "This better work, because I've really gotten sick and tired of myself." Clone Finn said, gesturing to all the angry clones standing behind him. As the disco ball's Lunar Crystal shined on the Cloning Crystal, it activated. And just then, one by one, all of the Finn clones started to disappear. "It worked! Now to take care of those Snipes, Ratharrs and Argos." Piper said as she took the disco ball and hopped onto her heliscooter. But as the clones all disappeared, Aerrow noticed something off. "WAIT!" He cried. But too late. Piper already took off. "I think we undid the real Finn too." Aerrow said, noticing that Clone Finn disappeared too, mistaking him for the real Finn.
Later, as the clones continued arguing and fighting, they started to disappear too. Snipe was shocked as he saw this. "What's happening?" Argo asked. Snipe looked up and saw Piper fly by with the disco ball attached to her heliscooter, waving at them before flying off. Snipe shouted in frustration. Just then, Ratharr groaned as he started recovering from the Atomic Crystal's shock. "What just happened? And where's our army?" He asked, noticing that the clones were gone. "You take a little catnap after trying to steal the Atomic Crystal and look what happens. The Storm Hawks trick us and used a disco ball to make our army disappear." Argo said.
Later, Piper returned to the Condor. "Hey, guys, it worked!" She cheered. But the Storm Hawks were all sad. "Hey, what's wrong?" She asked. "The real Finn is gone too!" Junko cried. "He disappeared with the other clones just as you left!" Sky cried. "But only the clones are supposed to disappear. Maybe we can reverse the reverse." Piper said with hope. But the Cloning Crystal, having finally used up to the limit, imploded on itself and disintegrated. "Oh no!" Piper cried. "So…that's it then." Skyla sniffled. "Finn's…gone." Riggorix said. The Storm Hawks were all saddened that they lost their friend. "Uh, guys?" Finn's voice said. They turned in surprise to see Finn, Twilight and Vuto standing in the doorway. "What's going on? Why do you look like someone died?" Finn asked. Suddenly, Junko wrapped him into a big Wallop hug. "Finn! Buddy! Oh, we thought we lost you!" He cried. "Junko! Ease up!" Vuto exclaimed. "Yeah! Don't break our boyfriend!" Twilight exclaimed. "The Finn I marked with an X was a clone too. That's why he disappeared." Piper said. "Hold on. Did Twilight say our boyfriend?" Aria asked. "Okay, what's going on here?" Aerrow asked. "Uh, you want me to go first or do you wanna go first?" Finn asked after Junko released him.
Later, after the Storm Hawks explained the situation that they were in, Finn also explained that he was on his big date with Twilight and Vuto. "I can't believe you ditched chores so you could go on a date, Finn." Aerrow said. "I know. And I can't believe that my own clone would create more clones. Especially since they took on my old personality. I can't believe I did that to myself. That is so like me." Finn said. "But why'd you go on a date with Twilight and Vuto?" Skyla asked. "Yeah. We thought you had the hots for Twilight." Skyler said. "I do. But after we met Vuto, I kinda developed a crush on him too. And I decided to take them both on a big date." Finn explained. "And it was the best first date we could've ever dreamed of." Twilight said. "But if you went on a date with both of them, does that make you…" Radarr started to ask. "Yeah. I guess I'm bisexual now." Finn said. "And you're the same, Vuto?" Aria asked. "Actually, I'm pansexual. It's pretty different. But I care for Finn and Twilight just the same." Vuto said. The Storm Hawks looked at each other, stunned by this news. "While we're disappointed that you went behind our backs and left a clone in your stead, Finn…we're happy that your date went well." Aerrow said. "Thanks, Aerrow. And I promise that's the last reckless thing I'll ever do." Finn said.
Meanwhile, out in the mountains of the terra, a light shined as a silver jaguar-like Warpath suddenly appeared. He groaned as he recovered and started to stand up. "Where…am I? What happened?" He asked himself. "Quite a tumble?" A familiar voice asked. The Warpath turned around to see Spade and Peach walking up to him. "Who are you 2?" He asked. "Relax. We're friends. I'm Spade Cobalheart, and this is Peach Pinkheart. What's your name?" Spade asked. The Warpath thought about it. "Ryder. Ryder Silverheart." He answered.
How was that for a crazy day? After swiping an unknown item meant for Snipe, Ratharr and Argo, the Storm Hawks were stumped at what it does. Finn was bummed at having to do chores because he planned his first polyamorous date with Twilight and Vuto. But after figuring out that the item was a Cloning Crystal activated by sunlight, when he left for his date, his clone started cloning more clones, and the clones cloned even more clones. Eventually, the Storm Hawks caught on and brought the clones back to Terra Saharr, only to get attacked by Snipe, Ratharr and Argo, who started cloning themselves. After turning the clones against each other, and figuring out how to reverse the crystal's effects, Piper used the Lunar Crystal in Finn's disco ball to make all the clones disappear, unaware that the real Finn was gone on his date. But Finn, Twilight and Vuto eventually returned and explained everything. But who was that Ryder who suddenly appeared? Will he, Spade and Peach form their own team and someday join the Storm Hawks?
