Niulang laid back against the tree, a piece of hay sticking out from one corner of his mouth, and whistled a little tune to pass the time while his animals grazed in the royal fields as they waited to be inspected by the castle purchasers. It was a good day, bright and not too hot, but then it was rare to have a bad day in the lands belonging to the King of the Heavens.

Even if it today were thundering though, it would still be a good day. It always was when someone could praise his herd, and he was proud to have some of the largest oxen on this side of the heavenly river, a fact frequently noted by the buyers.

Yes indeedy. Today was a good day. He might not be anything special, but his animals sure were.

Some folks might be bothered acknowledging that, but not him. He knew it was the truth and there was no reason to try and change it. He was sure there were none who would envy him but he lived a good life, simple and carefree. He spent his days outdoors and he and his oxen could roam the far corners of the heavens, whenever they pleased. There was never a day that had brought him hardship or trouble. Just one good day to the next.

He looked to the sky, noting how far the sun had traveled and decided it was time for lunch.

Niulang hopped to his feet with enthusiasm. He was always eager to catch a meal in the castle as they offered a variety not often found elsewhere.

What should he get today? If Xiya was in, then his chances were good for a blueberry cobbler, unle—

His feet stopped short as he entered the kitchens, his heart catching at the sight of delicate features on the face of a young maiden he had never seen before.

It was true that not a day had passed that dared to bring him hardship or trouble but neither had he felt any sort of passion or great love in turn.

Not until that moment.

It was as if time froze and when next his heart beat again, he knew from then on he was lost, his heart and soul, forever hers.

"B-Baihu?" Chi-Chi asked breathlessly, wary and also a bit awed that she was finally meeting the last god of the journey.

The old man dipped his head in acknowledgement and smiled, his eyes so thin they looked practically shut as he examined them.

"It's been…a long time since I started waiting for anyone to show here, I'd almost given up, but here you are now, looking no worse for wear than when you started this journey I'd imagine. Surprising, since Zhuque tends to issue rather nasty challenges." The old man stroked his beard. "They always did have a flair for the dramatics."

Chi-Chi smiled, feeling proud to have overcome such difficulties but knew it was also due to the god themself that she hadn't been permanently blinded. "It was Zhuque who told us about the healing properties of the water at the base of their volcano."

"Really?" Baihu blinked. "I see they've gotten softer as they aged. Good, good." His gaze drifted off for a moment as he smiled, clearly pleased, before he returned his attention back to the young couple. "So I suppose you're waiting for some sort of trinket as a reward, hm?"

But neither Chi-Chi nor Goku knew what he was talking about. They traded confused glances before Chi-Chi finally dared to ask. "Reward? Don't you need to challenge us first?"

The old god laughed.

"My dear, what do you think that whole facing yourself concept was about?" He used air quotes as he said it, making Chi-Chi frown in confusion.

She had thought those imposters were just a test to get into the temple. Every other god had required additional efforts just to get in the front door but they hadn't really done anything here, aside from chasing out a bunch of teenagers and being lectured by copies of themselves.

"That's right, you did do that," Baihu grumbled. One of those girls had been quite exceptional. "I do hope they come back, they make for good entertainment. Especially the girls."

Chi-Chi blinked as Goku cocked his head to the side, all while Baihu just smiled. Her eyes narrowed in suspicion.

"What?" Baihu balked. "You try getting a tv down here. The reception is awful!"

As if that was the issue! Chi-Chi huffed, ready to lecture the dirty old man, god or no, but he continued before she could say a word.

"In any case, yes, I suppose you can consider dealing with those clones of yourselves as a sort of challenge."

"But…" Chi-Chi pouted, annoyance already forgotten. "I didn't even fight mine."

"I did!" Goku smiled.

Baihu nodded wisely.

"Not all fights are meant to be fought on the physical spectrum and fighting oneself is a never ending battle. The both of you acknowledged your double's words concerning your weaknesses and accepted that you need to learn to overcome them. That is not a challenge that can be done in just a few hours. That is a challenge for a lifetime. A never ending journey if you will."

Chi-Chi nodded, knowing there was truth to his words but still feeling that after everything they went through to get to this point that this kind of ending was a little anticlimactic.

"So that's it then?" Goku frowned, apparently feeling the same.

Where was the action? The challenge? Couldn't he at least get the chance to fight himself in a proper one on one?

Baihu just glared at him, his eyes flying open to reveal cat like pupils. "That's it?! I've waited centuries to dole out this lesson but that's all you have to say for yourself? That's it?!"

"S-Sorry!" Goku backtracked hastily, waving his hands.

Chi-Chi jumped in to try to defuse the situation. "We were just really hoping for a way to continue getting stronger. We didn't mean to come across as ungrateful!"

"Hmmm…well I suppose there's still your reward after all."

Baihu snapped his fingers and two heavy bracelets appeared on her wrists with such force that she went crashing to the ground.

"Chi-Chi!"

Goku rushed to assist her but Chi-Chi shook her head, bidding him to stand down.

"I'm okay," she murmured, struggling to her feet. "These are just really heavy."

"Well you said you wanted to get stronger," Baihu shrugged.

Chi-Chi nodded. These would certainly do the trick. "Yes thank you. These paired with my boots and weapon should help me continue to grow stronger."

"Yes, but you mustn't focus on just your physical strength," Baihu warned.

"Of course." Physical strength would only get her so far.

"There's also your spiritual strength."

"Right," Chi-Chi nodded.

"And don't forget your natural abilities."

The corner of Chi-Chi's mouth twitched as she muttered, "understood."

"I mean it, opponents won't sit around waiting for you to do your thing. You're too slow!"

"Yes, Lord Baihu."

"And your patience, you could really work on that."

"Is there anything else," Chi-Chi growled, grinding her teeth.

"No, no. That about covers it, although you might consider…"

Chi-Chi glared, and Baihu decided it was better to keep the last bit to himself seeing as it really had nothing to do with training and everything to do with his own personal preferences in regards to her choice of fashion. Besides, he got to see plenty enough when those youths started fooling around in the entrance to his home.

"Anywho!" Baihu smiled, clapping his hands together as he turned to Goku. "I think I'll do something a bit different for you. You're already powerful enough, but it is knowledge you're lacking."

He snapped his fingers and a single metal circlet appeared on Goku's brow.

"What the…"

Curious, Goku moved to pull it off to examine it but before he could his head started burning as if he'd touch a pan fresh from the fire with his face.

"Gah! What are you doing?! Stop it! Stop it!"

"Goku!" Chi-Chi cried as he dropped to his knees but she knew there was nothing she could do. This was just like her time with Qinglong. He would just have to suffer through the pain even though it hurt her to watch. She focused instead on supporting him, propping him up as he gritted his teeth, trying his best to bear the pain as the circlet sunk into his flesh.

When it and the burning sensation had vanished completely Goku dropped his head on her shoulder, breathing heavy as he took a moment to recover.

"What…" he huffed as he struggled to his feet, "...the hell was that?"

"A gift I dare say," Baihu murmured, raising a brow at the mortal's language. "As I said before, you are not lacking for power. The potential I see in you—both of you—but especially you young Son Goku, is astounding. I do believe you've barely scratched the surface."

"Really?!" Goku grinned, excitement washing away all his his previous discomfort. He had figured after his time with Chi-Chi that he could improve, but to learn this…this was something else entirely.

Baihu nodded. "Yes indeedy, but power can be hard to control, it can even corrupt the mind. If you're not mentally prepared, you will not be able to handle it."

Goku stiffened.

Corrupt his mind? As in, he would cease to be himself anymore? For some reason just the thought of being a mindless beast made him think of the full moon monster and all the uneasiness he had felt since the most recent encounter came flooding back to him.

If…if he were ever like that thing…

Goku shuddered and shoved the thought aside. "How do I prepare myself?"

Baihu studied him for a moment, the old man appearing to see right through him, before nodding quietly to himself.

"I've given you the ability to keep the logical part of you in control and prevent your baser instincts from taking over, but only you can prevent it from changing your pure heart. Strengthen your body but strengthen your mind as well."

"Like meditating?"

"Bah!" The old god scoffed. "Meditating is all about emptying your head, it's too passive. Not at all up to the task at all. No, I want you to use your mind! Solve puzzles, take a class, read a book!"

"Ya mean like homework?" Goku groaned.

"The brain is a muscle too, you know!"

Chi-Chi frowned. That wasn't right. She opened her mouth to correct him but quickly shut it, after Baihu shot her a warning look. Instead she bowed, and tapped Goku to do the same.

"Thank you for the gifts and your guidance. It is an honor to be the first to meet you."

"Yes I imagine it is," Baihu chuckled. He bowed in return. "Thank you for being the first to make it here. Grow stronger, the both of you, for there will come a time you shall need it, but do not forget to cherish the moments of peace as well. Oh!" He snapped his fingers, materializing a small sprig of flowers that dropped into Chi-Chi's hands. "Take these as well."

"Orchids?" Chi-Chi questioned, not understanding, but Baihu's attention was suddenly distracted, focused as he was on a young couple that had suddenly appeared in the entrance chamber to his home.

The girl squealed as she realized the place was empty. "O.M.G. how lucky is this? There's no one here!"

"You know what that means," the boy whispered as he pulled her into his arms making the girl giggle.

"That you're about to get lucky twice?"

"Not just me," he chuckled, backing her into a wall and grinding his hard on against that sweet little spot nestled just between her legs. He grabbed her ass and pinned her between himself and the wall as she started stripping her shirt off, quickly followed by his own, before quickly unzipping his jeans and shoving aside her panties, already exposed due to her sinfully short, short skirt…

"Oh yeah, that's the stuff," Baihu muttered.

"Lord Baihu?"

"Huh? What? What's that?" the old god wiped his chin free of drool as he remembered he was in the middle of something. "Oh yeah." He pointed to the orchids. "May they bring you and your loved ones good fortune. Now it's time for you two to go!"

He waved his hand and the ceiling opened up, revealing an orange sky, and then he waved again and suddenly Chi-Chi and Goku were being hurled up, up, up through the air until they were spit out high above the upper most reaches of the city. Unfortunately whatever had sent them flying only lasted so long and soon they were plummeting back to the earth but Goku was quick to snatch Chi-Chi to his side and call for Nimbus who came zipping out from behind the late afternoon sun.

It swooped them up and flew off into the horizon, signaling an end to their adventures there.

o0o

She was a weaver, but not just any weaver, no. She was by far the best weaver the heavens had ever known and her father, the Ruler of the Heavens, was often clad in her intricate designs, for who else should be robed in such beauty?

Her name was Zhinu and she was everything that he was not.

Passionate, beautiful, clever and skilled. One of the King's many daughters, she should have never known sorrow, and yet he could sense a deep loneliness within her heart, see it within her longing gaze. He did not know her history or even her dreams, but the precious moments he stole with her made him dare to hope that he might be the one to replace her troubled feelings with love and joy instead.

There were no reasons to support such thoughts, nothing more than kind words and smiles…and yet, he had caught her a few times now, looking at him when she no doubt thinks he is not looking, and he can no more stifle the hope those occasions have stirred than he can put out the sun.

His heart yearned to believe…to hope…

o0o

With no particular destination in mind, the young couple flew for a while in silence, both just taking a minute to absorb the lessons they had learned and reflecting on what they should do in the future to grow stronger and avoid continuing bad habits that might cause them issues later on in life.

So far above the ground, the world was peaceful.

Quiet.

That is until Chi-Chi finally dared to peek over at Goku only to find him already watching her, his eyes crinkled in joy, and suddenly she felt like her own spirits could hardly be contained. They bubbled up inside her, threatening to explode.

It was over.

Their journey was actually over…and somehow they had not only survived but had also done what no one else had managed to do before, all while also overcoming a thousand other trials and obstacles that had stood in their way.

She let out an ecstatic scream and tackled Goku who barely managed to keep them from tumbling off of Nimbus.

"Whoa!"

"We did it! We did it! We did it!" Chi-Chi cried, jumping up and down in his arms. "I can't believe we actually did it!"

And in such a short time too! Her mother's stories had always spanned years but they had managed it in just a few short months!

"No?" Goku smiled. He stroked her bangs back away from her face and pressed a soft kiss against her forehead. "I always knew ya could."

"Only because of you," she countered.

"Nah. It was all you, I just tagged along for the ride."

And what a ride it had been! He couldn't recall ever having so much fun, but then maybe that was because he'd been with Chi-Chi.

Goku nudged her nose with his, stealing a kiss as he did so, and Chi-Chi was inclined to let him steal more than one. In fact…more than kisses, she wanted to celebrate with Goku properly.

She hadn't forgotten that they needed to confront Niulang and put that whole matter to rest. If anything it was a priority now. After all, she couldn't very well risk ignoring it and then have him send more monsters, potentially ruining her wedding day!

However, before they rushed off to face the jerk that just wouldn't leave them alone, there was one thing she wanted to do first. Chi-Chi was confident that Goku would be up for it—if the way his hands were roaming her body was any indication—but she didn't want to do this just anywhere…especially not while on Nimbus.

As if sensing her thoughts, Nimbus put on the breaks, prompting Goku to look up curiously from where he'd been hard at work undoing her dress.

"Why'd we stop?"

"Maybe Nimbus is warning us that this isn't the place," Chi-Chi murmured pushing up on his chest.

Goku felt the sweat bead down his forehead as he realized she was right. "O-Oh yeah." The last thing they needed was to fall through the cloud. Chi-Chi would never let him touch her again if that happened! He rubbed the back of his neck, feeling sheepish. "So what now?"

What now?

Chi-Chi knew what she wanted, but she didn't know how to ask for it without embarrassing herself or having her words fly right over Goku's head. She chewed her bottom lip for a moment before finally daring to look up into his beautiful, dark eyes.

How could one man be so handsome?

"Do you…do you wanna take a bath?"

"Now?" Goku blinked, thoroughly confused.

He'd of thought she'd be eager to make their way back to Mt. Frypan now that they were done. He knew she'd been worried about upsetting her Pops by being gone so long. Then again…he looked towards the setting sun…it was getting pretty late. A bath made sense and some grub would definitely hit the spot right then. Afterwards they could get a good long night's sleep and take off in the morning completely refreshed.

"Yeah, alright," he agreed. "Ooh! Maybe we can find a fruit tree to camp by. I'm hungry."

Chi-Chi smiled. Oh her sweet soon-to-be husband, what a bottomless pit for a stomach he had. She hadn't really thought about settling down for the night but it was a good idea, especially considering what she was planning.

She pulled out her necklace, thinking of the perfect place that could cover both of their desires, and then waved it around until the pendant lit up telling her where to go. Nimbus took off, almost eagerly, and soon they were zooming above several mountain tops until she spotted what she was looking for. A remote looking little spring at the top of a mountain, with a few apple trees, completely walled off by rock formations on all sides.

It was perfect! No one would be able to interrupt them there.

Chi-Chi blushed and buried her face into a confused Goku's shoulder, but he just shrugged and snuggled right back as Nimbus lowered them to their campsite for the night.

His Zhinu smelled like jasmines and yet her lips were as soft as rose petals and tasted like the sweetest cherries. He knew this because she kissed him.

Him!

Niulang wished he had been brave enough to kiss her first but he could not deny the pleasure he felt each time he recalled her gentle touch upon his arm and the way she had leaned in, pausing just a breath, before pressing those delicate lips against his.

He felt like he could walk on water—no on clouds!— and that he could wrestle a thousand savage lions or bears. Hunt her all the foxes in the land or compose her a song that encompassed all he felt in his heart.

At that moment, there was nothing that he could not do.

Now assured of her heart's desires, he could no longer keep his own at bay, which is how he found himself standing before her father, petitioning for his daughter's, his Zhinu's, hand in marriage.

When he finished stating his request, Niulang held his breath, certain he was about to be denied.

Then the King smiled.

o0o

Chi-Chi hopped down from Nimbus and spun around to give the fluffy cloud a light kiss. She was all excitement and nerves and though she was trying hard to contain her emotions, she couldn't help but share the love she was feeling with one who had always been faithfully by their side. Chi-Chi nuzzled Nimbus close before it wriggled itself free, and for a second she could almost swear she saw the little cloud flush, before it zoomed off back amongst its non magical counterparts.

Goku pouted.

"Chi-Chiiii, your kisses are suppose t'be for me!" he whined, wrapping his arms around her tight.

"Don't be silly," Chi-Chi giggled. "It was just a cheek kiss."

"But Nimbus ain't got any cheeks!"

Chi-Chi pressed a kiss to both of Goku's and pulled back. "There is that better?"

"No!" He pursed his lips, indicating what he really wanted, making her laugh.

"Oh alright." She smiled and pressed a soft kiss to his lips.

Chi-Chi tried to keep it short and pulled away a second after, but Goku had already scooped her up into his arms, melding her body against his as he deepened the kiss. It was exactly the type she wanted, slow and sensual with a promise of something more…

…but she still had a few things to prepare, so instead she broke away and patted his chest, signaling for him to put her down.

"We still have to set up camp," she whispered.

Goku nodded that he understood and stepped back as she pulled out the capsule case containing their things to begin setting up camp. He figured he'd hop in the shower first and set up their bedding while Chi-Chi prepped their food like she always did, but instead of pulling out pots and pans and cooking supplies, she merely uncapsulated their home, slipped inside and then stepped back out in a robe holding a few towels, some soap and her shampoo.

Goku frowned and called her name questioningly. "Chi-Chi?"

But Chi-Chi didn't answer, just stepped closer to the small spring to test the temperature with her bare toes.

Goku rubbed the back of his neck, feeling tense. For some reason his body felt like it was on the verge of something important. Chi-Chi…Chi-Chi was acting strange. He didn't understand why she wouldn't answer or why she would bring her bathing things out here. Did she wanna take a bath in the spring? He didn't mind but then where would he go? There was no spot he wouldn't be able to see her from outside. Did Chi-Chi just want him to wait inside the house then?

He opened his mouth to ask her but then Chi-Chi surprised him again when she set her things down and turned to him.

"Do you wanna take a bath…together?"

Her words were quiet, barely above a whisper, but Goku still managed to hear her loud and clear from where he stood. He stiffened, a thrill shooting through him all the way from his head to the tip of his tail. Was Chi-Chi really offering to…

"Really?!" he squeaked, unable to help himself. "Ya mean it?"

He waited with barely contained impatience for Chi-Chi's answer but then she spun around to face the other way again.

Why wouldn't she say anything?!

"Hey Chi-C—"

Chi-Chi looked back over her shoulder, locking eyes with him, and he suddenly felt like he'd lost the ability to speak. There was something about her gaze that stilled him and made him wanna wait to see what happened next.

Thankfully Chi-Chi didn't make him wait long.

With her back to him, she shrugged off her robe, revealing pale, milky shoulders, and then dropped the robe completely, allowing it to pool around her feet exposing her bare back and ass to his incredulous eyes.

Goku couldn't move fast enough.

Taking her actions as a firm YES, and eager to join in before she could change her mind, he yanked off his shirts and pants simultaneously, getting a bit stuck in the process as he hopped to her side, before finally freeing himself and tossing all his things, along with his boots, somewhere haphazardly behind him.

Chi-Chi giggled and stepped into the water, only stopping when it reached just below her breasts, with Goku only a step behind her. She was pleased to see that he was already getting excited. She clenched her thighs together, feeling that excitement too.

And Goku was definitely excited.

He was also nervous.

Which would be strange if he had the mental capacity to really think about it. He'd seen Chi-Chi naked before—at least in parts—but something about this felt different. Maybe it was because they usually stripped in the heat of the moment, with their hands and lips pressed to one another, but now Chi-Chi was doing it without kisses or hands or any of that. Just her eyes locked with his as he watched.

As if she was challenging him…and man if he didn't love a challenge.

Goku stalked forward, unable to go any longer without touching her in some way, when he noticed her shoulders shaking. Was she cold? The weather felt good to him but he knew compared to Chi-Chi he tended to run hot. He slipped his hand into the water urging it to warm a little with his ki, making Chi-Chi gasp.

"Did you just make the water warmer?" she asked, not realizing ki could be used in such a way. Goku nodded, but Chi-Chi was still confused. "Why?"

"Ain't this better? You were shiverin'."

Shivering? Chi-Chi blinked. Her? What on earth was he…oh.

She giggled and slipped her arms around him. "You're so thoughtful, sweetheart."

"Yeah?" Goku smiled, his heart picking up speed.

Whether it was because Chi-Chi's boobs were pressed against his bare chest or because she called him thoughtful, he didn't know, but he liked that Chi-Chi seemed to see things in him that no one else did, not even himself. It made him feel like he could do anything…but then, he would do anything for Chi-Chi, so it only made sense.

"The water feels nice," Chi-Chi murmured, nuzzling his chest, "but I wasn't cold."

"No?"

"No…I'm just a little nervous. I've never done this before."

"Yeah?" Goku hummed, a little surprised, but that was fine, he'd show her. "Don't worry, I'll be gentle."

He pulled away and started returning to the shore, leaving Chi-Chi confused.

"Where are ya goin'?"

"To get the soap, silly!"

"Soap?" Chi-Chi parroted, now even more confused. Why would they need soap?

Goku laughed. "Well yeah, how else am I gonna wash ya back? I mean, it's no problem for me, I got a tail but I'm surprised you've never—"

"Wait, what are ya talkin' about Goku? Wash my back? Why would ya do that?"

Goku paused and turned to her. "Ain't ya nervous cause ya never had someone wash your back before? Since ya ain't got a tail it can be tricky to reach every spot but I promise I won't be rough."

Chi-Chi just stared.

He…he honestly thought she was nervous about taking a bath? A bath?!

Chi-Chi's lips trembled, unable to take it. He was just too cute! She burst out laughing, clutching both hands over her mouth as she giggled up a storm. Had he really not realized what she'd been suggesting? The man could be so naughty and yet things like this reminded her that his heart was still pure.

Goodness, how in the world did she get so lucky?

"Chi-Chi," Goku pouted, crossing his arms. "What's so funny?"

"You are," she chuckled.

Chi-Chi wiped a tear from her eye as her laughter died down, her heart now filled with courage. She had been letting her nerves get the better of her, but there was nothing to worry about. As long as she was with Goku everything would be alright.

She moved to join him by the bank and Goku could only stare at the sudden shift in her demeanor. He hadn't forgotten they were both naked, a fact that only seemed to be reinforced as Chi-Chi slipped her arms around his neck and pulled him in for a long, slow kiss that seemed full of promise. He swallowed, suddenly nervous again, but then Chi-Chi grinned and the feeling practically doubled.

Chi-Chi…Chi-Chi looked like a predator who'd caught its next meal. Lots of animals and beasts had wanted to eat him over the years, but this was the first time he desperately wanted to be a snack.

And then her nails dragged down his back and pinched his butt.

Goku nearly jumped right out of the water.

"C-Chi-Chi?"

"Yes, Goku?"

"What are ya…" he swallowed again as she took his hand and guided him over to a large rock. "What are ya doin' Chi-Chi?"

Chi-Chi didn't answer, just pushed him to sit and spread his legs wide so she could step in between them while noting the way his chest rose and fell, his breathing heavier than normal. She smiled and pressed a soft kiss to his cheek.

"Goku," she purred, wrapping her arms around his neck again. "You're really so sweet, tryin' to take care of me. Heatin' the water, offerin' to wash my back."

"Well…you'd do the same for me, wouldn't ya?"

"Always," she promised. "And right now I'd like to take even better care of you."

"H-How's that Chi?"

But Chi-Chi didn't feel like speaking anymore. She'd wasted enough time doing that. Now was the time for action. This handsome, adorable man…goodness she wanted him. Wanted to leave him feeling as bewildered and breathless as he so often left her.

She crawled onto his lap and Goku's breath hitched as he got a heavy dose of her delicious scent that had been muted by the water.

Her yummy, mouthwatering scent.

It was stronger than it's ever been, to the point it was making him dizzy. He gripped her hips, his tail wrapping around her, as he tried to get control of himself, but Chi-Chi wasn't making it easy as she peppered kisses to his neck and chest, gliding her slick, tasty body against his painfully hard cock. He dug his hand into her hair and kissed her hard, his mind flashing to the last time she had rubbed against him this way…how he had wanted more…wanted to sink himself into that warm, inviting space between Chi-Chi's legs…

His tip caught along the edges of those warm, wet folds but before Goku could think to lift her up and slam her back down onto his eager cock Chi-Chi slid down the length of his body and settled herself between his legs, grabbing his dick with a confidence that left him growling and more aroused than he'd ever been before.

He knew what she would do next, but even knowing couldn't prepare him for Chi-Chi dragging her tongue along the underside of his cock and then swallowing him whole, her sweet lips pressed tight against his length as she sucked and nearly caused him to spill into her mouth.

Goku gripped her hair tight, needing something to hold on to. It was probably too tight in fact, but if it was, Chi-Chi wasn't complaining. She was too busy dragging her teeth along his cock and then soothing the stinging flesh with her tongue in a way that made his tail stand on end.

Goku grunted and managed a mumbled, "Chi-Chi," but anything more intelligible was impossible as he was lost to the sensations of Chi-Chi feasting on him.

He let his head fall back and grabbed the rock he was sitting on instead, sending small cracks shooting across the surface as Chi-Chi worked him sucking and slurping, taking more and more of him in with each bob of her head. The pleasure just kept building and building, his fingers crushing the rock below, Chi-Chi sucking him harder and faster an—

She grabbed his balls and Goku snarled as he exploded in Chi-Chi's mouth, pumping his hips in as controlled a manner as he could manage when all he desired was to wildly buck away.

Chi-Chi took it all, not wanting to waste a single drop, but if she had thought he'd need a moment to catch his breath after this she was mistaken, because as soon as he had emptied himself completely he dragged her back up to eye level and kissed her hard, devouring her lips with a fury that left her feeling like jello.

Before, Goku had been confused and a bit in a daze, content to follow Chi-Chi's lead, but now that he had spent himself and knew Chi-Chi was up for some fun, he was eager to gain control. He crushed her body against his, sweeping his tongue into her mouth and down her delicate throat as Chi-Chi's scent spiked to even greater heights driving him crazy with hunger.

It wasn't enough.

He needed more, needed to taste and feel his Chi-Chi everywhere all at once, and she was far too quiet with her soft little moans and sighs. He wanted to hear her scream, wanted to taste her sweet honey and feel her thighs clench around him as she squirmed and pleaded with him to give her that sweet release that only he could give her.

Goku rolled them off the crumbling rock and pinned her to the shallow shoreline, leaving his lower half in the water, but Chi-Chi's sweet honeypot well exposed. He dived right in, wasting no time as he dragged the flat of his tongue over the little nub that got her excited and then proceeded to lick and suck and even bite every inch of her his mouth could reach. He thrust his tongue inside her, eating more of her sweet cream as Chi-Chi cried out above him.

It wasn't enough!

"Y-Your fingers," she begged, digging her hands into his hair, "oh please, Goku!"

She didn't need to ask twice.

The second she made her request Goku was thrusting a thick finger inside of her, pumping it quickly until he could add a second and then curling them both to hit that spot she liked. His fingers moved a little harder, a little faster, and then he was back with his tongue, dragging it along her clit and sucking it between his teeth in a way that made Chi-Chi scream as her body seized up until she was coming undone, euphoria washing all around her.

She fell back against the shallow bank, feeling boneless, but before she could even catch her breath Goku was on her again, this time chest to chest as he kissed her, grabbing, licking, touching, squeezing all over. His tail held her tight against him as his hands wandered along her body, each caress of his callused hands a stroke of torture as his body rubbed against hers in a way that made Chi-Chi quickly begin to crave more.

She wanted to feel his fingers again but knew it wouldn't be enough, she needed something bigger. Wanted something that could fill the ache throbbing deep inside of her.

She wanted to feel him.

Chi-Chi wrapped her legs around Goku's waist, blushing but loving the feel of his rock hard length grinding against her sensitive nub, creating delicious friction as they worked each other into a frenzy but it wasn't enough! She needed more and needed it now! So when his tip caught against her opening again she dug her heels into his back and urged him forward.

Goku obeyed without thinking, his mind already consumed with everything Chi-Chi, so when he felt his cock first sink inside her warm, wet body he nearly spilled himself all over again, that is, until he felt himself hit a wall.

"That's it?" he whined, almost desperate. He'd barely entered her at all! It felt so good, he wanted to feel it along his entire length, not just the bit he could fit inside her. "Your mouth took more of me."

Chi-Chi blushed and looked away with a pout. She was already feeling uncomfortable due to his girth, did he have say such insensitive words on top of it? It wasn't her fault that he was so lar…

"Oh!" She gasped, suddenly realizing what the issue might be. "I think that's…" her blush deepened, which was ridiculous considering he was already inside of her. "I think there's a sort of barrier there that ya need to push through."

Barrier?

Goku tried to think back to his lesson with Kani on the subject but it was difficult with his brain addled by Chi-Chi's scent and the feel of her body, but there was something that seemed familiar about that…

Wait…didn't Kani mention it could hurt?

Goku didn't like that. He didn't wanna hurt Chi-Chi.

"Are ya sure?" He asked, worriedly. "Ain't it painful?"

Chi-Chi tried to reassure him with a smile but he wasn't wrong, at least from what she'd heard. But she also knew it was only the one time and she didn't want to live a life devoid of this experience.

She was a firm believer of the phrase 'no pain no gain'!

So before her nerves could get the better of her she whispered "distract me," and Goku nodded in understanding.

He dipped his head down to kiss her, apologizing for the pain she was about to feel but thanking her for being willing to do so with him and then he pulled away and pressed a dozen kisses to her cheeks and forehead, her nose and ears, a silent promise to protect and cherish her for the rest of their lives, to love her always, this strong, brave, sweet amazing woman who had already given so much of herself to him but for some reason always seemed ready to give more, who had shown him all he was missing out on and then some.

After kissing every inch of her face Goku returned to hers lips and kissed her with all the passion she inspired in him, hoping she understood all he was trying to convey, even if he couldn't always put it in to words. He kissed her for so long and so hard that Chi-Chi finally had to rip her her mouth away just to breathe and that's when he struck; sinking his teeth into her shoulder, knowing it made her moan, and snapping his hips up at the same time as he buried himself inside her completely.

"AH!"

Chi-Chi whimpered and dug her nails into his back as Goku dropped his head to her shoulder, giving her a moment to adjust, and him a moment to calm himself down, having nearly tipped over the edge from just the incredible feeling of having Chi-Chi all around him alone.

Incredible isn't how Chi-Chi would exactly describe it but the pain also hadn't been as bad as she'd feared. Still Goku was so large that her body needed a second to grow accustomed to this new intrusion, in addition to his weight settling comfortably on top of her.

"You okay?" Goku whispered after a moment, nuzzling her cheek and trying to catch her eye even as his body begged for him to move.

And he really wanted to move, it was almost painful not to, but somehow he found the force of strength to keep his body still…but then Chi-Chi squirmed a little, trying to ease the ache, and Goku nearly broke at the sensations it sent shooting throughout him. He groaned, his grip on her hip tightening, and then she squirmed a little more and he couldn't help but move some in turn. He pulled out just a little, just an inch, maybe two, unleashing a sweet, sweet friction that left him pushing back in on instinct and moaning into Chi-Chi's neck.

"G-Goku!"

Goku meant to check on her again, to ask if she was okay, he really did, but then Chi-Chi moved again pulling away only to bring her hips back to meet his in a way that left them both moaning this time and he found he couldn't remember words let alone what he was gonna ask, the only thing he knew was Chi-Chi. Chi-Chi's taste, Chi-Chi's voice, Chi-Chi's curves, Chi-Chi's scent.

He pulled his hips out further and thrust them back in, making them both cry out at the sensation.

"Chi-Chi…"

"Oh, Goku…"

He kissed her again, harder this time, biting and licking her lips as he pushed into her again…and again and again and again.

Goku lost himself to the motion, rocking his hips on instinct, as he slammed into Chi-Chi a little bit harder, a little bit faster each time, loving the way she cried out with each thrust as he plowed into her soft body clinging tightly to him, driving him to go even harder, even faster.

"Goku!" Chi-Chi cried, throwing her head back in pleasure.

The sight of which stirred something primal in Goku and he rewarded her by sinking his teeth into her throat, her shoulders, her breasts, her arms, anywhere his mouth could reach he made sure to leave an impression, needing to mark her, claim her, devour her like she consumed him, mind, body and soul.

"Goku, oh Goku, please!"

He grunted, picking up his pace, pounding into her harder and harder and har—

"GOKU!"

"CHI-CHI!" Goku snarled, snapping his hips into her one last time, his body tense as he came harder than he ever had before. His lungs were burning, his chest heaving, and his senses were numb to everything but sweet bliss…and the small, delicate sniffles coming from beneath him.

"Chi-Chi?!"

But Chi-Chi was too overwhelmed to answer. She had imagined what this moment might be like all of her life but she could have never imagined anything like this. To feel so loved and connected after a childhood of feeling so alone…she was truly so blessed, but the intensity of her feelings were too strong so she just covered her face with her hands instead.

Goku tried to pull them away but was afraid of using too much force when they remained glued to her face. "Chi-Chi are you…are you…crying?"

Chi-Chi shook her head no but who was she kidding? Not even she believed that.

Goku tried again, hopeful despite what he could see. "Are they happy tears?"

"Uhuh," Chi-Chi nodded, feeling herself start to calm a little…and then something wet and ticklish brushed against her cheek, prompting her to finally pull her hands away.

"Did you just lick me?!"

"Not the first time," he grinned and Chi-Chi couldn't help but giggle. She knew she was being silly crying like that but she was grateful that her tears hadn't scared him off.

"You big goof."

"You know you like it."

"I don't like it, I love it," Chi-Chi smiled. She pressed a short sweet kiss to his lips and wiped away the last of her tears. "And I love you."

Goku's smile softened as he rubbed his nose against hers. "I love ya too, Chi-Chi."

Then he rolled himself over, flopping her on top.

"Goku!" she squeaked, slapping his chest. "A little warning next time?"

"Already planning for next time?"

"You're impossible," she giggled.

Chi-Chi leaned down to give him another kiss putting her boobs right into full view of his face and Goku felt himself stiffen almost instantly.

Chi-Chi felt it too, seeing as he was still inside her. "What the? Goku?"

"Why wait?" he grinned, pinning her down against his chest with his tail. "Let's go again now!"

His days were now filled with nothing but her. No more stolen moments and longful dreams. Instead every second of his day is spent wrapped in her arms, their limbs tangled together as their euphoria climbed to greater and greater heights.

The days they are clothed are few and far between as they only emerge from their sanctuary for sustenance when they can no longer continue without, content as they are to focus solely on each other from sunrise until sunset.

It does not take long for their neglected work to get out of hand. His herd has scattered across the heavens and the backorders for the delicately weaved cloth she is known for is growing with each passing day.

It mattered not. As long as they had each other, the world could wait. Their days are filled with love and joy.

Until they are not.

"Goku," Chi-Chi murmured from where she laid on top of his chest.

They were currently taking a much needed break from their activities…or at least she was. She shuddered to think of the state she'd be in if this had occurred prior to her training and making the journey. As it was she was feeling thoroughly worn out, as if she had been wrestling a wild beast instead of her soon-to-be husband and she knew by the way Goku's fingers were working their way down her back that it was only a matter of time before he was persuading her to another round.

Fortunately Goku had been well tuned to her body's needs since the beginning of their travels together, and they had paused a few times already so he could hunt and cook for her, as well as bathe her like he'd promised. He had been so sweet and gentle taking care of her as he went that, incidentally, she'd been the one to start that round.

"Yeah, babe?"

Chi-Chi flushed like she always did when he called her that, loving it, and well aware that he knew she did.

"You really should call me by something more appropriate. What if my father heard you?"

"Why would ya dad mind?"

"He just would," she insisted. "Why not call me something like sweetheart or darling, at least when we're not alone?"

Goku frowned, thinking of all the terms he'd heard her use and grinned when he recalled one that suited her best. "Sure thing, honey."

Chi-Chi blushed again, still ridiculously happy with whatever term he used, because this man was hers. She sighed, still finding it a little hard to believe after everything. Maybe one day she wouldn't feel the need to pinch herself when she woke, but today was not that day.

"Speaking of my father," she said after another minute. "We'll still need to get married, at least for his sake."

"An' mine!" Goku huffed.

After everything he went through to get her to agree, there was no way he was letting her go now. It didn't matter that he already thought of her as his wife. He wanted to make it official, so no one could try and steal her away again.

"Yours too," Chi-Chi giggled, tracing a nail along the dip of his muscles. Admittedly for hers as well but she knew now that choosing an unconventional man might mean an unconventional future. She wasn't worried, after all they'd been through there was nothing that could tear them apart.

Goku laughed and squirmed under her touch. "Chi-Chi, that tickles!"

"Well maybe you shouldn't be so ticklish."

"Oh yeah?" Goku's tail snagged her wrist and pinned her arm behind her leaving her vulnerable to his touch. His fingers danced along her sides tauntingly before resting on her thigh as he raised an eyebrow. "You sure ya wanna play like that?"

"Again?!" Chi-Chi screeched, pressing both hands to his chest. "Oh Goku you can't be serious, no way! I'm still exhausted from the last round."

"Which you started."

"And you made sure to finish."

Goku smirked, he certainly did but that was the past, what mattered was now. "You wanna take some of my ki? That should perk ya right up."

Chi-Chi stiffened.

Take his ki? Like how she took the dragon's? Like how Camilla had tried to take hers?

Any interest she might have had in starting something was suddenly gone.

"Chi-Chi? What's wrong?"

"I…"

Chi-Chi hesitated. She didn't wanna tell him. This had been the most magical night of her life, she didn't want to ruin the mood, and what if…what if her fears for some reason drove him away?

"Chi-Chi?"

Chi-Chi sighed. She was being silly again. Hadn't she just thought that nothing would drive them apart? So then why was she letting her fears get the better of her?

"I guess old habits die hard," she muttered under her breath.

"What was that?"

"Nothing, I mean…" She returned her attention to tracing the well carved paths of Goku's body. "Do you…do you ever feel like…like there's something about yourself that ya don't know and are better off not knowin'?"

Goku froze, that uneasy feeling he'd been experiencing ever since the latest incident with the full moon monster flooding through him as his gaze cut to Chi-Chi. Had she somehow learn the fears he'd been wrestling with the past few days? Not that he could put those exact fears into words but that didn't stop the uneasiness from taking over nonetheless.

However Chi-Chi never looked his way, focused as she was on her own worries, confusing Goku. If she wasn't talking about him, then what was she talking about?

He rubbed the back of his neck and shrugged. "Sometimes," he admitted after a minute but unwilling to say more. "Why'd ya ask?"

"Lately I've been think about that couple…the ones who attacked us that night at the waterfall, Vlad and Camilla, you remember them?"

Goku nodded, "Yeah."

"Well, I don't think they were human…at least they didn't seem so." The way they had disintegrated was just unnatural! "But their abilities…Goku she drew out my ki just like I did to that dragon!" Chi-Chi lifted herself up from his chest to look at him. "What if…what if I'm also…"

Chi-Chi burst into tears and Goku sat up in alarm, quickly pulling her into his arms.

"Hey, shush, it's okay, it's okay, there's no need to cry, I promise."

"But what if I'm…what if I'm not human?" she wailed, burying her face into his chest.

Goku's heart clenched, sensing this was the true source of her concern all those times she'd fretted about being normal, but he honestly didn't know what to say. How could he soothe her when his own fears skewed along similar lines?

He sighed and ran his hand over her hair in an attempt to calm her.

"What counts as human anyways?" Goku muttered, his tail twitching. "Tien's got three eyes, Krillin ain't got a nose—ya dad's as big as a house!—and you already know about my tail." He shrugged and laid back down, taking her with him. "Does it really matter what ya are?"

Chi-Chi sniffled, somewhat comforted by his words. "Ya mean, you wouldn't care even if I was some sort of succubus?"

"Suckawhata?"

"A succubus, they drain men's life energy through sex."

Goku laughed, unable to help himself. "Even if ya were a sucka-whatever, I wouldn't say no. You can drain me all ya like!"

"Goku!" Chi-Chi snapped, scandalized. "You shouldn't joke about such things!"

"Why? You weren't complainin' when I was doin' it to you," he grinned.

"You weren't draining my energy!"

"No? Guess I need ta try harder."

"Harder?" Chi-Chi paled. "N-Now wait a second Goku!"

She attempted to scramble off of his chest, only to be caught by that cursed tail of his wrapped tight around her waist.

Goku's grin widened but instead of diving right in like she feared, he pressed a sweet kiss to her nose before knocking his forehead against hers.

"I don't care whatever ya are Chi-Chi, just as long as you're mine. All that matters to me is you."

Chi-Chi sighed, falling more in love with him than ever. "Oh Goku, you always know just what to say, thank you."

"Really?" No one had ever told him that before.

"Well…when it matters," Chi-Chi giggled. "And I feel the same way. I'll always love you more than anything in the world!"

Goku smiled, feeling his own worries lighten with her confession. Even if he wasn't ready to face the thoughts plaguing him, as long as Chi-Chi was by his side he could deal with them in time.

That was enough serious talk though, he was ready for some fun.

"Just this world?" he teased. "What if I was an alien?"

Chi-Chi smiled and tapped his nose, "I'd love you even if ya were an alien."

"Even if I was big an' purple with tentacles for legs?"

"Don't be ridiculous," she scoffed. "I'm clearly only with ya for your looks."

"Because I'm so handsome?"

"Because your so handsome," Chi-Chi agreed.

Goku pressed her back into the ground and kissed her, feeling his body start to stir once more.

"Goku?" Chi-Chi whispered as he pulled away.

"Yeah?"

"Will you give me some energy?"

Goku grinned and leaned in for another kiss.

For a man who had never known any great emotions, good or bad, Niulang has now learned to hate and feel despair from the very depths of his being. Not only had his beloved Zhinu been stolen from him but now the man responsible, the only one with the power to keep them apart—the so called great King of the Heavens—has gone back on his word.

Niulang had toiled away the last several decades, repenting for his neglectful behavior, with the promise that at the end of his sentence, he would be reunited with Zhinu once more.

However he King was angry—furious—that the magpies, who had taken pity on Niulang and formed a bridge so that he may see his beloved just once, attempted to circumvent his punishment. For this additional crime, Niulang was permanently banished to the far side of the river while Zhinu was forced to slave away to keep the King clothed in finery.

The one silver lining on the King's golden robes, was Zhinu's exploitation of his weakness, for she had no qualms about refusing to work if she was denied access to Niulang altogether. The King, of course, liked this even less and punished her, but Zhinu would not break until eventually the King admitted defeat…

but not before tricking her into accepting visitations for only one day out of the year.

However one day a year was still infinite when one was immortal, so she did not fight her father further.

Niulang was forever grateful that she did not, for someone so perfect did not deserve a single hardship, and yet she has already born so many for his sake.

He would not allow her to suffer more.

No. Instead he was determined. He would win the King's favor. Niulang knew not what, but surely there was something that he could offer the King of the Heavens that would earn him his leniency.

His oxen liked to wander to the far corners of the heavens, so Niulang started his search there, hoping to find anything that might pique the King's interest and earn his forgiveness. He found some old scrolls and a spell book but nothing else of particular note. Nothing worthy of a king.

He took them all anyways.

The next time he ventured out, he came across rare materials and riches. More than any a herdsman might see in a lifetime. He of course took those too.

If necessary he would offer everything he came across, everything he owned, anything if it would allow him to return to his Zhinu's side permanently.

On and on the years flew by and after awhile Niulang determined that he had discovered everything worthy of note, but still nothing worthy of a king. His attention turned then to the mortal realm. Travel was difficult between the Heavens and the Mortal Plains but not impossible, and after all he had time.

It was only a few years later, a century or two, that he came across another like minded bitter young man, one who owned a castle in the sky.

Hou Yi was strong and brave, everything Niulang was not.

And yet he too failed to fight the gods.

Perhaps, together then, they might find success instead?
