Here is the second chapter in this story released in accordance with my upload schedule for this story. I know this is earlier than planned but to clarify my upload schedule, the chapter per month is a minimum goal rather than a hard and fast rule for this story, rather I will upload once I have the next chapter after the one that's been uploaded drafted so that I am always one chapter ahead in of the story in my work on it so as to keep me honest. I set the one per month minimum as a realistic expectation based on IRL stuff and my other active stories/soon to be active stories but there is always a chance that I can get more than one out per month so it won't be as predictable as some of my other stories. Anyway, the new crews and their Supernovas have been introduced to Luffy, Brook, and Chopper, so it's time to see what happened in the aftermath of those introductions that were shown as Shakky was describing them. That means that it's time to see more of the crews, learn more about what they can do and in some cases their powers, and set things up for what I'm sure y'all know is coming. That is all that I have for the administrative stuff I have for y'all and while there are no questions that need answers but there is a clarification I have to make, a guest review that needs a response and a notice I need to give regarding a way around the current issues on this site for those who are unaware of it, so I will do that now and in that order. Do keep them coming as your support is the best motivation for me to keep producing chapters at this kind of rate.

The clarification is that there was a little confusion in the last chapter regarding what lore will be used so to fully clarify; this story is entirely set within One Piece and its lore so all characters are native. That means all powers from the other series are going to be Devil Fruit powers unless they are something that can't be or works better as something else within One Piece lore. That means that magic (Fairy Tail and Black Clover), Quirks (MHA), Imperial Arms (Akame ga Kill), and Semblances (RWBY) are now covered by Devil Fruit powers though as of right now not all characters have eaten a Devil Fruit. That said this chapter will start to reveal a few of the fruits that have been eaten.

To KGBeastboy (guest), thank you for your review and suggestion as always and good to see you enjoying another one of my stories. As for the Devil Fruit suggestions, for the first one Yami's fruit is actually the only one I have already decided on the appearance of as well as the name which will be revealed shortly, however there is actually a Black-Black Fruit in my notes for a different character who will appear a fair bit later on in the series. I naturally don't have an image for that fruit so this would work really well for it so thank you. Your second suggestion for Akame, while good, that isn't the avenue I was going with her Devil Fruit though I expect that to be revealed some time before the end of this arc. However, your idea works for a different character and is a better name for it than what I had due to, as you rightly noted, the similarity with Magellan's Devil Fruit so I'll use the Toxin-Toxin Fruit instead of my original idea for that character when the time comes and I like the design though if I do describe it I might make it more purple to fit with the poisonous theme. Alas I do not know hitman so I can't use it but I'm sure that organized crime from the other series will at least have an acquaintance with Bege even if there will be differences. Do keep reading and enjoying my work.

Notice: As of the time of publishing, the website is dealing with issues in terms of email notifications not going out for anything. Hopefully this will be fixed soon but as a way around this and to keep abreast of this and any other stories you follow I highly recommend downloading the fanfiction app, logging in there, and then downloading this and all the other stories you like and follow as notifications on the app from followed stories and authors are still coming through. This is the same for authors for non-guest reviews that have been left, follows and favorites, and sometimes PMs via the app which are separate to PMs on the website. This is the best way around the current issues on the website so if you haven't done this I highly recommend it until this issue is resolved and for any future issues.

Anyway, that is enough rambling in this long pre-chapter note so sit back and enjoy the second chapter in The Ultimate Worst Generation.

Chapter 2: The 5 Crews

"Damn, you're something else." Natsu panted as the fires smoldering around the area of the fight showing no sign of dying down anytime soon. "I didn't use my full powers but I thought what I had was enough to compete with the Destruction God himself."

"It's not bad, that kind of power does have added benefits to it that a lot of people overlook or forget about." Yami said as the darkness roiling off his katana faded away. "Plus, I've got a bonus advantage that ensured that this wasn't an issue for me."

"I can tell." Natsu said as he looked over the man before him noting that there wasn't a scratch on him though Natsu himself didn't have more than a few bruises due to his own resilience but he had a feeling that Yami had been holding something back especially if he'd seen someone like Kaido in action before. "I know their reputation of Logia types well but some of them have natural weaknesses that can bypass their invulnerability. Thought that fire might be a way around yours once I deduced you were a Logia type seeing as fire chases away the dark."

"There are more ways around a Logia than you'd think, it's not only things that can naturally bypass certain Logia types." Yami said as he lit up another cigarette. "Word of advice for the New World, if you have crewmembers who are Logia types, which is rare but not unheard of, make sure that they don't rely in your powers. There are things that bypass a Logia's defenses there beyond a natural phenomenon that is immune to the Logia power, water, sea prism stone, and the hierarchy between some of the Logia fruits."

"You're talking about Haki, I'm aware of it but have yet to fully master it though a few on my crew can use Armament Haki." Natsu said. "But even that can't break past my defense. That's one of the benefits of my Devil Fruit."

"Yours is like Kaido's and there is a way past it." Yami said taking a drag of his cigarette. "That beast doesn't have a scar on his chest for nothing. Still, Logia types are weak to Armament Haki and those who aren't aware of that tend to die young in the New World."

"I'll keep that in mind." Natsu said though he wasn't too worried about it. "Thankfully we already know of the hierarchy at least. Thanks to one of my crewmembers we know a lot about Devil Fruits so we're keenly aware of what we might deal with. I'm surprised that you didn't try to grab me to deactivate my power though, that would have gotten past my defense."

"Huh? Why would I do that?" Yami asked confused. "I can't nullify Devil Fruit powers. I can bypass immunity with Haki if that is possible as I hear there is one Paramecia type Devil Fruit that is immune to Haki, and in the hierarchy I can directly affect some of the other powers, mainly light. Now that's a fight I'd like to have but I doubt old Admiral Kizaru will show his face here."

"Wait now I'm confused." Natsu said his head hurting. "You didn't eat the Dark-Dark Fruit? With your power I figured that was a given what with all the darkness you were sending at me."

"No I didn't." Yami said. "I'm surprised that you even know about that Devil Fruit. You don't strike me as the kind of person who'd pay that much attention to something like that. There's a reason we're lumped together after all."

"Oh I don't but two of my crew are all about info and its importance so they kinda force knowledge on me at times." Natsu said. "One even ate the Read-Read Fruit which allows her to read at impossible speeds and she never forgets what she's read. She can even implant that info into someone else's mind if she wants. She's made sure that I know as much as she does about Devil Fruits as I'm one of the most likely ones on the crew to fight Devil Fruit users. The moment I saw the darkness on your blade I presumed you ate the Dark-Dark Fruit. You even turned to darkness at times so you are a Darkness Man, right?"

"Ah I see, that is an assumption but no I didn't eat the Dark-Dark Fruit though I do know it well." Yami said shaking his head. "It's one of two fruits that were desired by my former clan because of its power, even more than the fruit I ate in fact, but they couldn't find it on their illegal excursions out of the country."

"Then if I may ask what fruit did you eat?" Natsu asked. "I'll tell you mine in return."

"You're a Mythical Zoan user, from what I can tell it's one of the Fish-Fish dragon models." Yami said. "Kaido's is the Azure Dragon, I'll never forget that, but I didn't actually realize there were others."

"There are." Natsu said grinning. "So, for the stalemate and fun battle shall we exchange intel Captain to Captain? My crew may be a little less annoyed at me for destroying an entire Grove simply because I wanted to test a fellow Captain if I bring them something back."

"Why not." Yami said with a shrug. "Makes no difference to me. I ate the Void-Void Fruit and became a Void Man."

"Wait what?" Natsu asked confused. "And that's different to the Dark-Dark Fruit?"

"It is." Yami said. "I take it that your crew member with that power you mentioned has read a Devil Fruit Encyclopedia."

"She did." Natsu said with a nod. "We came across one a while back and she made sure to memorize it just in case. A few of the fruits like my own crew have aren't in it, and yours isn't either, but it's still good to know."

"Makes sense." Yami said. "I know why mine's not in it but won't say, not my place."

"Fair it's sorta the same for me I think but can you say why it's different to the Dark-Dark Fruit?" Natsu asked. "Two similar Logias aren't common, are they?"

"All a Logia needs to be is an element be it matter like ice or energy like light." Yami said. "So there are a few that share certain similarities. The one I know for sure is that fire and magma both have Logia fruits as the former is held by that Whitebeard Pirate Commander while a Marine Admiral has the latter. I presume that there is a snow to the ice one as well but that's just a presumption as I'm not aware of the former. Based on that, two darkness based ones isn't out of the question. As for the difference, I know it well as it was educated into me from a young age."

"Huh I never really thought about that." Natsu said, he knew fire well but he'd never really considered magma to be in the same general concept because it wasn't fire. "So what are the differences?"

"The Dark-Dark Fruit is powerful even amongst Logias as its core power is gravity and can suck things into a void of sorts and then expel them though that is not a true void as far as I'm concerned." Yami basically regurgitating what his bastard of a father had drilled into him before the incident 15 years ago. "It also allows the user to nullify other Devil Fruit powers so long as they are touching that person but the trade off is that the user can't turn to his or her element like other Logia types can. That is different to the Void-Void Fruit. My fruit is the darkness itself, the darkness of the void. As such I can turn into it the way any other Logia type can and use it offensively as such."

"Ah so basically you're a classic Logia type." Natsu said thinking on it and used the knowledge that had been put into his mind to realize something. "I get that. Kinda like how the light Logia is called the Glint-Glint Fruit not the Light-Light Fruit, the dark Logia that is typical for a Logia won't be called the Dark-Dark Fruit. That makes sense to me."

"Yup now which model is your fruit." Yami said taking a puff on his cigarette. "Enlighten me to a new dragon model."

"Igneel." Natsu said which Yami didn't get at all so Natsu added. "The full title of my fruit is the Fish-Fish Fruit, model: Igneel. As you guessed it's a Mythical Zoan and the mythical creature that I can turn into is the fire dragon Igneel."

"That explains the fire you can produce." Yami said. "Interesting. Never thought I'd see another dragon Mythical Zoan."

"It was a gift from my father but I don't know how he got it." Natsu said. "And not in the encyclopedia but my crewmember is writing a new one seeing a few of our fruits aren't in the one we found."

"I bet the same is for mine." Yami said. "For the right price we may be willing to provide them beyond mine but it won't be cheap."

"I'll ask but we tend to be broke most of the time, all this damage tends to pile up the costs when we can't flee the area in time." Natsu said. "Plus we tend destroy any treasure we go for."

"I understand." Yami said as he sensed something emerge from the shadows to the side and behind him. "But I think it's time we part ways. You have a crew to get back to, as do I."

"Agreed, I don't trust them at times." Natsu said. "Between our swordswoman and our stripper we might have more physical and mental damage to deal with. See you in the New World, let's fight again there."

Yami just nodded at that and Natsu turned and walked off completely ignoring the fact that the entire area around the men was now just burnt ground, destroyed buildings that were either smoldering or still on fire in a few cases, and several deep cuts in the landscape that included a few felled trees. The duel had been more a simple test of strength and neither Captain had gone all out but it had clearly left its mark. Given his history and the fact that they were in a lawless area of Sabaody, Yami didn't particularly care for the damage caused. Plus right now he had to deal with his first mate right now.

"I take it that I need to return to our tavern." Yami said as he took a puff not looking to the shadows of a ruined building where he sensed the presence though he noted that only the man's upper body was corporeal which was what he'd sensed. "Right?"

"That would be for the best."

Yami turned at that to see a man with long black hair tied in a high pony tail and wearing a black outfit under an ankle length gray cloak and several silver straps around his abdomen and waist step out of the shadows his body becoming whole as he did. The shadows themselves seemed to roil as he moved and any near him turned to his body but such was his power.

"Alright, I've had my fun here so make the call." Yami said patting his stomach. "I don't feel like walking and I may need to take a dump soon after that light workout."

"Clearly, I take it that you faced Salamander." The man said as he reached into his cloak and pulled out a small transponder snail. "Given the fire and destruction it could only be him or maybe that swordsman in the Night Pirates but I don't think the later can use fire as the details on what he can do are sketchy at best and inconsistent at worst."

"Not sure about that guy, this was purely Salamander." Yami said as the snail rang. "Didn't get to see his hybrid or full form, that could have caused unwanted issues, but I've confirmed what I suspected, it's a Mythical Zoan of the same series as Kaido."

"Interesting." The man said as there was a click and the snail grew wavey brown hair and earrings. "On sec. Finral, we need a gate in Grove 19."

"You know that I have to see or have been to the place and I've not hit that Grove yet, Nacht." The snail said in a man's voice, said man being Finral and his tone was full of complaint. "There was a massive fire there so I had to miss it. I presume that Yami had something to do with."

"You would presume correctly though most of the fires aren't his fault, this time." Nacht said as he reached into his cloak with his free hand and pulled out a surprisingly small visual transponder snail and turned it to the area in front of Yami. "I'm sending a live feed now. That will work."

"Yeah I see, alright give me a moment." Finral said and he hung up which led to the snail adding. "Click."

"It's coming so use it, I'll go and gather more intel on the other crews while we're all in one place." Nacht said. "I hear that there's a slave auction happening in Grove 1 soon and given the Night Pirate's reputation they won't miss it. I may even see that monster in action if things go badly, depending on who else shows it. That along with Salamander are the two destructive powers I wanted to see here so that we can record them just in case we have to face then in the New World. Thanks for confirming that, Captain."

"It was a fun bit of light exercise." Yami said as a gray portal appeared before him as he felt his guts groan. "But I do need a dump so I'm going to meet up with the others. Report in later."

"Yes sir." Nacht said as Yami walked through it and the portal vanished.

Nacht sighed. He didn't exactly have the best relationship with his Captain, hell he didn't even want to be part of this crew, but after what he'd done he kinda had to work with the man and at least he respected one of his crewmates so things were tolerable. It was time to help them out and get more intel so he backed up into the shadows, his body merging with them as it became shadow and he vanished to head to Grove 1.

"Do you have any idea who you just engaged with Dorksta?"

The question came from a strikingly attractive, haughty, girl with silver hair in twin pigtails and wearing a fancy white and pink jacket and skirt ensemble under her black robe as she flicked one of her pigtails. She and another girl, a quiet and expressionless girl with jet black hair in a bob but for a noticeable cowlick on the top of it and a pair of horns to the side in a simple blue dress under her robe, had been with Asta getting supplied when the sudden challenge from the brown haired boy had come. That had led to the sudden duel that scared the civilians and got the red haired girl involved.

"Not at all, Noelle." Asta admitted with a smile at the silver haired girl that made her flush as it was directed at her though she didn't understand why. "He challenged me so I lived up to it as I'm always down to learn from a fellow swordsman. Activated my power just to be safe. I feel like that was worth it."

"Well yeah, if you'd let him use the power he reportedly has then most of this area would have been leveled." Noelle said. "Right Nero?"

"It's not actually been confirmed what it can do but it is why he's known as the Adaptive Monster." Nero, the other girl, said in a slightly bored tone though that was just her normal speech patter as she wasn't bored. "Tatsumi, he's the swordsman of the Night Pirates. That's the crew with the most marine and governmental official murders on their record, at least of the crews here that is."

"Huh, I didn't know that." Asta said as they began to walk, the girls had the supplies in bubbles and so it was time to head to Grove 27 and reconvene with the rest of the crew at the tavern they were staying at while the ship was coated. "Still it's just a title, you know how the marines and World Government like to give them out to us pirates. It probably means nothing. I mean they call me the Black Devil and I don't have any powers like that."

"You're a Black Bull, a Devil Fruit user like most of us, and you're a talented fighter." Noelle pointed out. "It makes sense for you plus the swords you use are black and you can channel your power into them, a power that is terrifying to those who rely on their Devil Fruit powers."

"True I guess it does make sense but why is Nero's epitaph 'Silent Swallow'?" Asta asked. "That doesn't make any sense. Sea Princess works for you Noelle because you're past that they surely know about, your power and role in the crew but not Nero's."

"I'm only the helmswoman because of my power, and the rest of you would crash the ship without me and Henry to look after you." Noelle said defensively. "But Sea Princess is fitting for me. I like that at least even if I don't like having a bounty, it's unbecoming of a royal."

"You were exiled by your family and had to turn to piracy to survive, you earned your 89 million berry bounty, Noelle." Nero noted. "And I don't know why they call me that Asta and frankly I don't care. It, and my bounty, make no difference to me."

"True and it's a sign that you've come far to get one." Asta noted. "So what about the redhead? She's got skills as well. Who is she? There's no way she doesn't have an epitaph as well."

"Like you and Tatsumi she's officially listed as a swordsman, well swordswoman in her case, and yes she has a sizable bounty on her head." Nero said, the girl may technically be their ship's doctor at the moment due to her power and general medical knowledge that came from mastering it but she did at least read the papers and reports from the rest of the crew as she was big on observation. "The Fairy Queen Titania, Titania for short, Erza Scarlett. She has a 175 million berry bounty. Tatsumi's is 237 million so both of them are Super Rookies like you and the Captain."

"With a title like that it's obvious which crew she's on." Noelle said. "Fairy Tail. They have quite the reputation for destruction from what I've read in the papers."

"And we don't?" Nero asked. "Our Captain has the highest bounty on the archipelago right now because of how much damage we cause when we fight. Well that and all that stuff we got up to in the Clover Kingdom with that former Warlord who tried to genocide the whole Kingdom that he beat, twice."

"I know it's so cool that his bounty is that high." Asta said with stars in his eyes while the girls rolled their eyes, they all had bounties but only the guys on their crew actually took pride in what they were and bragged about who's was bigger than who's. "I hope mine gets that high one day."

"290 million is still damned high." Noelle said. "There aren't many here with higher bounties."

"It is a New World level bounty that you got before entering it hence why you're considered a Super Rookie, Asta." Nero said. "And only five on the archipelago are higher. Captain Yami's, Eustuss Kid the Captain of the Kid Pirates, Straw Hat Luffy the Captain of the Straw Hat pirates, Deku Midoriya the Captain of the Might Pirates and Salamander Dragneel Captain of the Fairy Tail Pirates. The latter two have actual first names but they are more known by their epithets than anything else. All are either dangerous or destructive when in action and frankly all of them, including Captain Yami, are insane to some extent."

"That's an understatement." Noelle said with a sigh. "I just hope our Captain hasn't gotten into too much trouble while we were getting supplies."

"So long as Grove 27, or if he went to another one then that Grove, isn't on fire and some of it is still standing it will be a success." Nero said unaware that Grove 19 was still on fire with very little still standing on it. "Let's head back and find out. We can get an update from Henry as well about the coating. Frankly with 22 pirates who's bounties exceed 100 million on this archipelago I'd rather be gone sooner rather than later, especially with the us, the Straw Hats and Fairy Tail here. The level of destruction and general reckless stupidity between the three of us could destroy the groves and all this isn't factoring in whatever the Night Pirates are up to."

"So long as we have fun that's all that I care about." Asta said with a grin. "So let's enjoy it and the adventures to come."

The girls just shook their heads but both smiled at that. They both cared for Asta in different ways, Noelle was confused about her feelings but she had joined the crew at the same time as he had and he'd saved her more times than she could count so she found him irreplaceable while Nero was more a loyal friend and supporter of Asta's and the most recent member of the crew. There was still a lot for them to do and figure out but going to the New World, where their Captain was from, would likely help them as they figure out what their direction was as pirates in the Great Pirate Era.

Erza didn't even notice Asta heading off after her intervention. The other boy had already walked off as he was fine with fighting in the New World and had said he was going to go and check on his partner. Erza was actually looking forward to that, the fighting in the New World that is, as she recognized the sword right away though it was hard not to given that it was one of the 17 Supreme Grade swords, which meant that the boy was the Adaptive Monster, Tatsumi, the swordsman of the Night Pirates.

His skills were well known, of the swordsmen and women currently on he was one of the few who Erza felt could challenge her, so she would love to test her skills against him and his sword, Incursio. Of course that would wait and the fact that the partner he mentioned was almost certainly the One Strike Murderer Akame meant that there was a high chance that the Night Pirates were up to something that could blow back on the archipelago if they were caught. With their reputation, along with both the Black Bulls and the Straw Hats also on the archipelago as well as Fairy Tail, any trouble was going to be big.

As such it was best to just let things go and deal with them in the New World. That worked fine with Erza, Akame was one of the few other sword wielders on her level as well and the only female on that list though she was unaware that Weiss Schnee's proficiency with a sword was also up there, so another one for Erza to face. Rumor had it that Akame's own personal blade, a katana called Murasame, was also Supreme Grade so that only added to Erza's desire to test her.

The others who she wanted to face were Pirate Hunter Zoro of the Straw Hats, and the two Black Bulls who were noted swordsmen: their Captain Yami Sukehiro and the Black Devil Asta. All were considered talented and after the fight she'd just broken up Erza could see that was true as she'd watched the duel for a few moments before intervening.

Erza was eager for those challenges and to see how her skills compared to the other great swordsmen and women of her generation but that was for another time. For now she was going to find her Captain and then they could regroup with the other main officers who were on leave for a good time as the ship was coated and then head out to the New World the moment they could.

That meant that she needed to put away her swords and armor and so Erza activated her power as she entered the next Grove, Grove 21 which would be where she'd meet Natsu, to store her gear in the handy storage space that she created when she ate her Devil Fruit. Well, that was the plan and for the most part it worked with one exception, the sword she'd used to block Asta's. That didn't vanish into her extra dimensional storage space and gave her pause.

Erza had no idea why it wasn't working, all she'd done was block the oddly rusty and dirty sword Asta used, he had three of them and could wield them as well as she wielded her normal swords, but now she couldn't dismiss the sword. It was rather vexing to her as she looked at the sword still in her hand.

There were rumors of course, after all few Super Rookies with a bounty pushing 300 million weren't Devil Fruit users, but as far as Erza knew Asta didn't have a Devil Fruit power. It was odd indeed but she decided to just let it go and try again in a bit. Besides, having a sword on her was probably a good thing in the lawless area of Sabaody and this way she didn't have to suddenly use her power to arm herself if she was attacked. Plus she could see Natsu heading towards her from Grove 20 and together there were few who would dare challenge the Super Rookies in the Fairy Tail Pirates.

"Erza, how was your hunt?" Natsu asked with a grin as he noticed her and waved while walking over. "Find what you were looking for?"

"Yes and then some." Erza said with a smile. "All the stuff is being sent to the ship where I'll sort it out and I had a lovely tea break at a quaint little place that I found that served some great cakes. Then I broke up a fight between a few other Super Rookies to avoid any issues, can't really do it when we're so close to crossing the Red Line now can we?"

"Yeah about that." Natsu said with a sheepish grin. "I may have been partially responsible for the destruction of an entire Grove."

Erza blinked and then looked past Natsu to where he'd come from and saw the smoke billowing into the air behind him. If she looked hard enough she could even see the glow of a few fires so it was definitely her Captain's work along with a few gaps that could only be felled trees. That caused her to turn and glare at him.

"We said that we'd not cause issues." Erza said her tone low and annoyed. "Lucy was very adamant that we avoid it. Even Gray's got his clothes glued to him to avoid his exhibitionist tendencies and you go and destroy a Grove? What on earth possessed you to do that?"

"Not my fault." Natsu said but he was grinning so he clearly didn't care. "I ran into the Destruction God and we had a little Captain to Captain chat to see who's reputation was more well-earned. His bounty is more than half a million berries more than mine so I had to learn why."

"The why isn't hard if you just paused to think on it seeing as we read about his actions in the papers." Erza said. "He's the Captain of the crew that took down a Warlord, one stronger than the one we took down, and destroyed an entire capital city in the process though he did at least stop said Warlord from massacring an entire country. He's also from Wano which seems to add things and the rumors are that he's a Logia type on top of all that. It's no wonder he's got a 350 million berry bounty. That's double mine."

"Oh he's definitely a Logia type, I confirmed that." Natsu said as they began to walk towards Grove 23 and the tavern they'd bought out for their leave while the shop was coated, and knowing them they might just have to buy entirely as they'd likely destroy it before they left. "No question, none of my attacks worked and I had hoped that fire would work on his power once I noticed. It's time I learned Haki to get past that but that's besides the point, he confirmed it to me."

"I see so what is the fruit?" Erza asked already committed to teaching Natsu, and the rest of the crew's big fighters, how to use Armament Haki during the trip to the New World. "Logia's are almost as rare as Mythical Zoans so anyone who uses one is always an offensive threat. Even with ways around it, that intangibility is nothing to scoff at."

"True though we have a surprising number of Mythical Zoan users on the crew." Natsu pointed out. "So it's not like it's rare to us."

"We have multiple sets that we were lucky to find and recruit." Erza pointed out. "Though why Happy insists on always being in his hybrid form I won't know, same for why he never wears clothes despite all other minks doing so. I also don't get why you made him first mate."

"Happy's my best bud, we've been together for years so of course he was going to be my first mate once I formed my crew." Natsu said with a grin. "He was the first to join it after all."

"Whatever." Erza said as questioning Natsu's decisions and logic was sometimes a pointless endeavor. "What was the Logia? Was it one that Levy made us aware of?"

"No it wasn't in the book she read or from any other sources we've picked up since then though it's not a special one either." Natsu said shaking his head. "So it's nothing like what we know."

"Well yeah because that was a secret of the Phantom Lord Pirates that stayed secret after we took them down and sent that Warlord who ran them to Impel Down because he violated some rule about his status." Erza pointed out. "Now out with it, what is Yami's Logia?"

"The Void-Void Fruit." Natsu said. "He is darkness and it differs from the Dark-Dark Fruit. Long story, I'll tell the others when we get to the tavern as they'll want to know as well."

"Fine and I take it you had to give up something for that." Erza said. "Information like that is never free."

"He is from Wano; he's seen Kaido in action." Natsu said with a shrug. "He knows a Fish-Fish Fruit when he sees it. I just told him the model of mine that's all."

"Well it's a fair trade." Erza said as they reached Grove 23. "Come on, let's see if the others have an update for us and enjoy our time here before we leave as soon as possible."

"Agreed." Natsu said as they headed to the tavern where Lucy, Gray, Juvia, and Wendy would be waiting for them as the rest of the crew either wasn't on leave or had other business to attend to on the archipelago at the moment. "I've had my fun, it's not like anything crazy will happen before we leave."

Erza hoped not but somehow she doubted it and Natsu testing fate didn't help. Their own reputation was enough to be an issue but with so many other top crews, and crazy ones at that, on the archipelago she didn't trust it to remain just the occasional spat between pirates that was destructive but not eye catching. Well, if it did kick off Fairy Tail wasn't going to be an idle, they'd be in the thick of it and showing why they'd be a crew to be reckoned with in the New World.

"I see you're done with the business that you had to attend." Tatsumi said as he met up with a Akame a few minutes after leaving Asta and the newcomer who'd interrupted them, who based on the swords and hair had to be the Fairy Queen Erza Scarlet the swordswoman of the Fairy Tail Pirates and easily a worthy challenge one day. "I take it the boss is dealing with cleanup so that we don't call in unnecessary heat."

"I made sure that it was easy to dispose of but yes it won't be found." Akame said with a small smile at Tatsumi. "Good guess."

"Wasn't a guess, you missed a spot." Tatsumi said as he reached up and gently cupped Akame's face and wiped away a spot of blood on her cheek with his thumb, the tender act eliciting a slight blush from Akame but she was controlled enough to not blush more than slightly though her heart did pick up a beat at Tatsumi's touch. "There. Be careful, this place may be a lawless cesspool, at least these Groves are, but best to not advertise what we're up to while here. Our reputation is already such that we're going to be suspected so we've got to remain above reproach for the moment."

"Thanks Tatsumi." Akame said as he lowered his hand clearly unaware of what he'd done but Akame pushed that aside, they had work to do and she was still coming to terms with her feelings for her comrade and friend that had been building ever since his rather forced recruitment though seeing as his whole village had been wiped out and he'd then paid the Navy back in kind he'd been more than willing to join after they explained their mission to him. "The boss told me to leave it to her when I was done preparing it and to instead meet up with you and head to Grove 1 so I did."

"She does know how to dispose of something like that better than we do." Tatsumi said as they began to walk to their destination where most of the crew would meet. "I take it she's still busy and will meet us there."

"Very, she has a contact she wants to meetup with here before she joins us and the rest of the crew in Grove 1 and that's on top of the cleanup." Akame said. "I'm not sure who it is but it might be the one we've been trying to meet."

"Good, when they reached out to get our aid we were surprised seeing as we don't avoid mortal blows so few are willing to work with us." Tatsumi said. "I take it she has backup with her just in case."

"While she can handle herself well she does have Bulat with her." Akame confirmed. "Between her injuries limiting her in combat and his Devil Fruit power we're covered."

"Good then they'll get that sorted and meet us at that vile venue." Tatsumi said seriously. "And the others? Are they in position?"

"Su's back at the ship making sure it's coated right; you know how our Quartermaster is." Akame said, she was officially their assassin but she was also the de facto first mate having been the second recruit to the Night Pirates after Lubbock and he wasn't really cut out for leadership. "Sheele is with him just to stop her from getting lost and causing a problem, especially if she falls into water."

"Makes sense." Tatsumi said. "She's a deadly killer with a really useful Devil Fruit power who's always in the zone when using it but when she'd not and on her own she can be a total airhead. I don't mind freeing her but after being caught by the Navy 4 times and falling into the large bodies of water twice it's a bit much to leave her on her own, or with another Devil Fruit user."

"It's safest to keep her there given where we are." Akame agreed. "Plus Su will be so fussy over the coating that she's basically the front line of defense if they find it and in that case she's cut the Navy down in seconds. Plus with Su around she's safe as he refuses to eat a Devil Fruit."

"True so I'm not worried about her at all." Tatsumi said. "What about the others?"

"Mine should be in her hide and Lubbock is protecting her so we've got range covered." Akame said. "She'll take out any who manage to slip out of that place after buying sentient misery. As for Leone, she should be on her way there so we'll meet her soon but we'll likely get there first as she was off conning some people out of their money in the law abiding areas."

"Good and Chelsea?" Tatsumi asked.

"She's got her own mission." Akame said. "Unlike the rest of us she can take out the trash without leaving a mess and there's another one here for her to deal with. After that she's to use her power to get intel for us before returning to the ship. It was thanks to her that we knew of this in the first place."

"Alright all is looking good then." Tatsumi said. "Though with all the pirates here there's bound to be chaos."

"Works for us, we can take care of our targets in that chaos and then slip away." Akame said looking at Tatsumi. "Speaking of pirates, did you get up to anything while I was busy."

"Just a small test." Tatsumi said with a grin. "Ran into Black Devil Asta by chance out in Grove 19 and couldn't resist challenging him to a fight."

"And Chelsea's report regarding his power?" Akame asked. "That wasn't easy for her to get and given the havoc that the Black Bulls caused in the Clover Kingdom it's lucky she got out of that place without an issue."

"Hard to say." Tatsumi admitted. "His sword looked like a rusty hunk of junk but it was able to match Incursio without an issue so it's definitely more than what it seems. When we clashed I felt, I don't know, it wasn't like Sea Prism Stone and his swords aren't made of it but I felt like I couldn't use my Devil Fruit and I didn't make contact with him."

"Interesting." Akame said her hand going to the hilt of her katana at her hip. "Good thing that I can use this and was trained in it before I was forced to eat my Devil Fruit. Anything else happen?"

"We got interrupted by Titania and told to fight after we passed the Red Line." Tatsumi said. "Nothing more than that. I can't attest to her skills as she just blocked us though she is ambidextrous."

"She's said to be my equal, same with that swordsman in the Straw Hats who's also a non-Captain Super Rookie." Akame said. "Pirate Hunter Zoro. I wouldn't mind testing both of them someday, especially Zoro as he uses katanas as well."

"It would be fun to watch." Tatsumi said. "But for now let's focus on our mission. How bad will it be at the auction house?"

"Depends on what species they've captured." Akame said darkly. "Worst would be a mermaid who's under 30 years old as those are the highest priced captives. Regardless the plan is the same."

"Kill all who buy other beings." Tatsumi said. "And then get the fuck out of there before the Navy come."

"Yup so let's go make sure that whoever runs that vile place knows that the Night Pirates are onto them." Akame said. "And that we'll be coming for them next."

Tatsumi just nodded at that as they continued to make their way to Grove 1. Soon it would be time to see what was going on and then act accordingly. Little did they know that they'd be in for a real treat when they learned who else was going to be at the auction house and why they were there. Things were about to really heat up on Sabaody.

"Next time I see that blond bastard I'm going to punch him so hard in the face that it knocks out a tooth and he bounces out of the room!" Yang said angrily pounding a fist into her hand as she walked next to her sister with Weiss Schnee, her sister's best friend, possibly more in the future if Yang was reading things right between them, and the crew's first mate on Ruby's other side. "How dare he blast me in the face when I was trying to get a drink out of him. Who does he think he is? When a hot chick asks for a drink common courtesy is to buy her one, who knows you may get lucky."

"Somehow I can totally see that happening the next time you see him." Weiss said with a sigh deciding not to point out that Yang wasn't going to get with him and the guy was no sucker who'd buy a woman drinks like that. "And as for who he is, he's one of the Super Rookies on the archipelago at the moment. You know, the so called Supernovas that the press are running with seeing as there are an absurd number of 100 million plus bounties present right now that were earned by people before they entered the New World. It's not just our amazing Captain who's garnered that reputation since entering the Grand Line."

"Wait that angry Pomeranian's got a bounty of over 100 million?" Yang asked eyes wide and looking over her sister's head at Weiss. "And I couldn't pound him into the ground? Do you know how much that could help my reputation? I'm not at that level yet no matter how many people I punch."

"Well yeah, all you do is blow up clubs wherever we go and that's usually because some guy won't buy you drinks." Weiss said. "Ruby's responsible for destroying an entire nation's criminal network, one which was aligned with the World Government because at the time Torchwick was one of the 11 Warlords."

"Hey!" Yang said indignantly. "It's not always my fault they blow up, the last one the dude pulled out a mortar and tried to hit me with a shell so it was his own fault his club exploded. Oh and that was a bar jut now, not a club. I was going to go to a club tonight though as I heard of a great one out in Grove 8 that supposed to be super seedy and has a fight pit where you can win money by fighting bare knuckled so I want to check it out."

"Ok and? You've blown up bars up as well." Weiss said. "And I don't see why you're complaining about your bounty, it's the second highest on the crew though what annoys me more is that it's 2 million above mine and I'm the first mate."

"That does amuse me, Ice Queen, and I'm the Captain's big sis so I'm above you in that regard." Yang said with a grin before it fell as she got back on topic. "But still, who the hell was that bastard to have a higher bounty than me."

"Seeing as you don't care for intel and information, just how hard it hits you and how hard you punch it back, I will provide you with it as some of us value information over brute strength." Weiss said ignoring the jibe and reference to her epithet as she reached into a white pouch on her left hip and pulled out a stack of wanted posters that she'd collected while they were on the archipelago and began to rifle through them until she found the right one. "Let's see, here it is. Bakugo Katsuki, epithet Great God Explosion Murder, how uncouth, first mate of the Might Pirates with a bounty of 267 million berries."

"Damn, how'd he manage a bounty that high?" Yang asked even more surprised than before. "That's almost at Ruby's level."

"Though not quite which is good as Ruby deserves to have a higher bounty." Weiss said as she looked over the information on the poster. "It says that he's originally from the East Blue but didn't earn a bounty out there, though his Captain was worth 25 million berries before they entered the Grand Line. Instead he earned his first bounty of 67 million berries following an incident that decimated a forest and then a city on Kamino Island."

"Did we read about that?" Ruby asked. "Sounds like something that would be in the news."

"I saw something about it, I think his Captain's bounty jumped to 135 million because of it but I can't recall the details right now." Weiss said. "That's not relevant though. Apparently Katsuki's bounty was upped to 167 million berries following another incident where he took down a rival rookie crew, the Shiketsu Pirates though they are still at large it seems, and then finally to it's current total when the Might Pirates defeated Kai Chisaki and the Hassaikai Pirates after uncovering the Warlord's illegal Devil Fruit boosting drug ring. Says here that he personally took down the number 2 in the group which is likely why it jumped up by another 100 million."

"Well that would explain it." Yang said. "Taking down a Warlord will boost your bounty, especially when you show how corrupt they were and just exploiting the system."

"It certainly worked for Ruby." Weiss said. "And it was necessary, Torchwick's syndicate needed to be brought down."

"I'm still surprised my bounty jumped so much after I beat Torchwick." Ruby admitted. "I was just trying to help the area out because it needed it, I didn't realize that he was a Warlord. Also he had like no good crew so I have no idea how he became a Warlord in the first place."

"Tell me about it." Yang said. "I beat up his henchman Junior but that guy was pathetic."

"You beat him up because you were destroying his club that was a front for several of Torchwick's operations." Weiss pointed out. "Which, by the way, you didn't know about as you were just there for some free drinks, so that doesn't count."

"Still beat him and he even had the audacity to use a mortar on me." Yang said. "Plus they didn't even have a Devil Fruit user. If it was a fish-man crew I'd understand but it wasn't."

"Given that Torchwick was busted out of transport ship by a skilled assassin who no one knew he had on his crew and who slipped on, killed most of the marines there, and broke him out it's safe to presume there was one Devil Fruit user loyal to him." Weiss said. "And besides, crews like ours where most of us have eaten a Devil Fruit are rare."

"Speaking if Devil Fruits, what fruit did Pomeranian eat?" Yang asked. "His hand glowed and blew up right in my face, no way that wasn't a power. The force alone told me as much."

"Doesn't say." Weiss said as she glanced back at the wanted poster. "But you know that these things don't say if they don't know for sure, or if they are trying to cover it up I guess. If they did then Ruby's would be higher I'm sure of it."

"I still can't believe you found a fruit like that." Yang said though she smiled as she shook her head. "Damn lucky Ruby."

"What can I say." Ruby said with a grin. "It works and fits me perfectly so I really lucked out with the power."

"We've all used our powers well." Weiss said. "But none of them have been revealed to the Marines, well other than mine that is."

"Well yeah your goody two shoes older sister is a Vice Admiral who works directly for Admiral Ironwood." Yang said as they moved into the next Grove. "Of course she'd review the accounts and know that you ate the Glyph-Glyph Fruit. It is the one your family prizes and hands down whenever it is found after it reenters circulation."

"It was the fruit my grandfather used to build the family name." Weiss said. "And between my mother's issues and my father's blatant corruption that ruined the family, which he married into, I was the best person to inherit it after Winter left to join the Navy and got disowned. Father made sure I ate it after he did that and it saved my life when they came for him. Well that and Ruby passing through at the time."

"So glad I did bestie." Ruby said giving Weiss a side hug and Weiss blushed a little at that. "Wouldn't trade it for the world."

"And then you ran into me and Blake while we were sorting some shit out and with the Marines already after us so we formed our crew and elected Ruby the Captain of it." Yang said as Ruby let go of Weiss and Yang noticed a lone figure in a white and black outfit with long black hair and a short sword at her hip leaning against a tree. "Speaking of founding members…Blake! Hey kitty! Over here."

"I've told you Yang, no cat puns." Blake said with a sigh as she turned and smiled at her crewmates and the bow atop her head that hid her cat ears, the faunus trait she had that identified her species which was one of the ones prized by slavers, twitched. "Your puns alone are bad but the specific ones are a whole lot worse."

"But you're my precious kitty." Yang teased. "And come on, you're a cat series Zoan user, it's perfect."

"True, I'll give you that, but remember that I'm also from a race that doesn't exactly like this area and need to keep that hidden, which given that my trait is also feline needs to remain as such." Blake said as they reached her and she realized that there was a slight burn on Yang's face which gave Blake the chance to change the subject. "Er Yang, did you get into another fight?"

"No." Yang said innocently and Blake quirked an eyebrow before she actually got a little serious though clearly she was also annoyed at not getting into a fight. "No seriously Ruby stopped me before I could and he started it when he blew me up and sent me through a wall all for asking him to buy me a drink. Damned Pomeranian."

"Alright, as usual with her I'm confused by the Yang speak so can you two translate?" Blake asked her Captain and the first mate. "Did she just get attacked by a dog mink? A Dog-Dog Fruit user? Or is she being annoying and just got blown up by a standard Paramecia type who she thought was a sucker that would buy her a drink if she batted her eyes and showed that she could rest her tits on the counter?"

"Third one." Weiss said. "Though not sure about the tits part, didn't see the counter, though he did call her top heavy."

"Yang's not wrong in that she didn't get into a fight though she was blown up after annoying a guy." Ruby said. "And she would have fought him but we stopped it in time. We don't need that heat right now and the guy had a bounty that's almost as high as mine."

"Damn alright then." Blake said. "Well make sure you see Jaune when we get back. He's refreshing the medical supplies while Pyrrha and Nora stay with the ship to finish getting it coated. Ren is meeting with people who can help him understand what the seas of the New World are like and show him where he can get one of those new Log Poses that we'll need once we pass the Red Line."

"Good then let's get back to the ship." Ruby said. "It's almost time to set off."

"Er did you already forget about my request, Captain." Blake said a little confused. "We still have a bit of time before the coating is done and while Yang avoided trouble I don't think I can so I asked you if you, your sister, and Weiss could come with me to Grove 1 so that I have backup just in case."

"I'm down." Yang said she recalled Ruby saying as much and if Blake felt that she couldn't avoid trouble then it meant that trouble was indeed meant to be had and Yang wanted to be in the thick of it. "If you think there's trouble Blake then it's going to go down and I want a good brawl after that."

"Yeah I remember now, sorry I forgot, but, er, why do you want to go there?" Ruby asked. "I would rather not draw attention to ourselves here. There are a lot of Super Rookies present so the Navy has to be on edge. Not to mention that we're in the shadow of Marie Jois so there's bound to be the occasional Celestial Dragon."

"Oh there will be Celestial Dragons as there's a human auction in Grove 1 that is have a slave auction later." Blake said darkly. "And while we can't do shit to the Celestial Dragons who will be there, there's always one or two who show up to these abdominal things, we can beat up and rob the scumbags who buy slaves and aren't them while also freeing said slaves."

"I'm in." Weiss said. "Given my father's disgusting role in that abhorrent practice I'll join in. I must make amends for the stain he caused my family's name."

"It's a good cause." Ruby said. "So sure, let's go but if there is a lot of trouble I'll take point. I am the Captain so I should be the one responsible for that."

"Thank you Captain and of course." Blake said pleased that Ruby was down for this plan as she did want to show the evil people who bought sentient misery what true pain was. "Let's go, I want to get seats so we're part of the crowd and don't stick out."

"Lead the way." Ruby said.

Blake nodded and began to head in a different direction so they hurried to catch up with her. They all agreed that this was wrong so they'd go there and play a role in helping free those on the brink of slavery as best they could. They just hoped it didn't get too bad while they were there.

"I can't believe you wouldn't let me pound that bitch's face into the dirt." Katsuki complained as he, Izuku, and Shoto walked out of the area of the Grove where there was a settlement and into a deserted stretch between it and the next Grove they had to pass through to get back to their ship. "She was able to take a blast so it would have at least been fun to see how much it took to beat her."

"We're not here to have fun." Shoto said simply. "We're here to get the ship coated, resupply for the trip to Fish-Man Island and then head out. It's just a stop on the way for us before we enter the New World."

"And? This is Sabaody, there are a lot of strong pirates to beat up and show that I'm better than them and that my bounty should be much higher." Katsuki said. "And I'm technically on leave, even Four Eyes said so. You and Deku are the ones who had work."

"That does explain why you were at a bar in the one of the lawless groves." Shoto said. "Captain? What do you have to say to this?"

"I disapprove of the fighting; we don't need the heat right before we enter the New World." Izuku said. "But Kacchan is right to an extend as he is on leave. You know how Tenya is, he's got a strict schedule for who can leave the ship for fun, who has tasks to accomplish on the archipelago and who has to remain on the ship. It' a good thing that we have a shipwright, an engineer, and Momo's power. That's saved us a tone on the coating as they can just learn and do it themselves."

"I still want to fight someone." Katsuki said. "Do you know how many strong pirates there are here and that chick could take a hit, she had some potential so it would have been a good warmup for me."

"There are 22 Super Rookies currently on the archipelago including you three." A new voice said to Shoto's right causing him to jump a little and start at it. "That is to say 22 with bounties over 100 million before entering, or returning in one case, to the New World, so the equivalent of our entire crew. I hear the collective term for the 22 who are here at the same time is Supernovas. Pretty cool, you guys are lucky that you get to be so well known."

"Toru, do you really need to do that." Shoto said as the space next to him flickered and suddenly a girl messy, wavey, chartreuse colored hair that fell past her shoulders that had specks of pink in it, bushy eyelashes and big round eyes with teal and yellow pupils wearing a pink tank top and white shorts though she was absolutely festooned with bags and knives on her arms, legs, back and abdomen was walking there next to Shoto as if nothing had just happened. "It's kinda unsettling to have you just appear out of thin air especially because we know that you were there at least a few moments earlier."

"Captain Deku doesn't mind, does he?" Toru asked looking to her Captain. "Plus I need to preserve my appearance so I can't appear unless I know that no one is watching."

"Huh, oh hey Toru, were you there the whole time?" Izuku asked suddenly noticing that his crew member and the leader of the crews three person spy and recon team was with them. "I didn't realize. I'm still amazed by how useful the Camo-Camo Fruit is. The way it differs from the simple invisibility of the Clear-Clear Fruit is fascinating as you actively warp light as it passes through you or anything in contact with your body granting you something more akin to camouflage than true invisibility while also being a useful defensive and distraction tool in battle. I wonder if it can be used offensively, perhaps if…"

"Thanks Captain but no I only got here when Katsuki starting ranting about wanting to fight the Golden Dragoness Yang Xiao Long." Toru said as Izuku devolved into more mumbling but their Captain was a total geek about Devil Fruits so that was to be expected whenever he started thinking about the practical application of one, especially if it was one that a member of his crew used. "By the way, she's not a Supernova, her bounty is only 90 million berries. Close but not there yet. Still more than mine though but she is the enforcer of her crew, as well as the cook apparently."

"For an enforcer that's a low bounty." Shoto noted as Izuku continued to mumble. "You'd think she'd be a Super Rookie."

"Please, if she's that low then it's worth it to not fight her." Katsuki said with a snort. "She can handle a blast but I doubt she can handle much more than that."

"I wouldn't say so." Toru said. "The intel I was able to get on the Rose Pirates is that while they are an 8 person crew, the smallest of any here, all but one are Devil Fruit users and Yang's allows her to absorb damage and turn it into power which is why it's never been reported as people don't realize that she has Devil Fruit powers. It's actually similar to one of the Supernovas, some Sky Islander called Urouge, though he bulks up when he uses his power while."

"There has to be some subtle difference there then that we don't know about." Izuku said clearly having heard what Toru had said and getting back into his mutterings over Devil Fruits. "No two fruits are the same, there is only one of each, so there has to be something there. I wonder what it is. Could it be…"

"Ignore our moronic Captain." Katsuki said as Izuku devolved into more mumblings. "That's a power I wouldn't mind blowing up to see how much she can take."

"I still don't get why her bounty isn't above 100 million." Shoto said. "If she's got power and is part of a small crew then surely it should be higher."

"From what I've gathered their Captain is the one who gets all the attention." Toru said. "Ruby Rose, the Red Reaper, she's the one with a Super Rookie bounty as it's 272 million. Makes her the second most wanted female here. Kinda jealous, my bounty is only 64 million."

"It would be higher if they knew how vital you are to our crew, the recon team has saved us more times than I can count." Izuku said. "But they don't and I prefer it that way. Hell, they don't even know your appearance, just your name."

"Awe Captain, you'd make me blush and Mashiro and Ochaco wouldn't like that." Toru said teasingly bringing up her own crush and the not so subtle crush their helmswoman had on their Captain that their Captain was totally oblivious to though pretty much everyone else on the crew knew about. "Anyway, just thought I'd pop in with the news seeing as I was in the area checking up on the Rose Pirates when I heard the explosion go off. Kyoka's got her ear on the Fairy Tail pirates just in case and Mezo is keeping an eye on the Black Bulls from a safe distance. Those two can be rather destructive once they get going."

"Good, any intel we can find the better." Izuku said. "Information is critical in understanding ones rivals, especially what Devil Fruits they use as determining a person's power and how to overcome it can mean life or death. What about the other big players? Anything on them?"

"Given their reputation and the rummers about one of their member's Devil Fruits I've decided to stay away from the Night Pirates for now." Toru said. "The others I've already compiled reports on and delivered them to the Quartermaster. Unlike some of you I'm on the clock the entire time we're here."

"Sorry but this is a great place for intel." Izuku said. "So we need it Toru."

"I get that, I don't mind as it means I get more time off to shop and have fun with my extra pay from my word, and the cut of what I steal in a bit, in Fish-Man Island." Toru said with a grin. "And now that you owe me, Captain, can you please assign Mei to my team at least as an additional, occasional, asset. You know that I could use her talents."

"Our engineer is too important to reassign." Izuku said. "She may be extremely odd but her gadgets and inventions have saved us too many times to count. She did invent that buoyancy thing that those of use who've eaten a Devil Fruit have to wear at all times in case we fall into the water. Kinda necessary when we don't have many who haven't eaten one."

"They also blow up half the time which is why her workshop is in a crows' nest, and besides her Zoom-Zoom Fruit powers could be a great boost to us for initial scouting." Toru said. "She's already used as a lookout at times because of where her workshop is. I just want her for pre scouting scans. As good as Kyoka's hearing is and the eyes that Mezo can make are, Mei's eyes have a longer range than either of them and can focus us better before I slip in and do my thing."

"You make a good point Toru." Izuku admitted. "I'll consider it but her duties as the crew's engineer come first."

"Thanks Captain." Toru said with a smile. "And I understand, I just need her to give advanced scouting visuals at times."

"Is that all?" Izuku asked.

"No, I actually came to you because when I was spying on the Rose Pirates I got some intel that I want to act on." Toru said shaking her head. "Turns out that one of their members has a deep hatred for the World Nobles and slavery, a fair hatred especially because I'm sure that she's a member of the faunus race, and has persuaded her Captain to go to a slave auction with the intentions of saving the slaves who aren't bought by World Nobles."

"That's disgusting." Izuku said and Shoto and Katsuki nodded in agreement at that. "The fact that that exists here of all places."

"Slavery is technically illegal unless you're a World Noble and we are close to Marie Jois." Toru said. "So others engage in it as well and the Navy turns a blind eye because of the World Nobels. The Rose Pirates aren't going to stand for it. It also appears that the Kid Pirates and the Heart Pirates will be there at least from what Kyoka's overheard whole here and given what I've heard about the crew there's a chance the Night Pirates will be there and focused on the situation so a bit of intel can be gotten on them without getting too close to the monster they have. Plus who knows who else might be involved. The Straw Hats are here and you never know what they will do."

"That shit they pulled at Ennis Lobby was hilarious." Katsuki said with a laugh. "Really stuck it to the World Government and it sounded like one hell of a battle. They've got balls, I'll give them that."

"Their Captain is insane but then again so is ours." Shoto added. "If they don't cause trouble while here I'd be shocked."

"The Straw Hats are a wildcard for sure and I'd want to avoid dealing with them until the New World where they will be rivals to us." Izuku said looking to Toru. "I take it you want to go to the auction to report on it."

"And rob them blind." Toru said with a grin as she patted the many bags she had. "My power does extend to what is on me or what I'm holding and we do enjoy stealing from the corrupt and immoral. A slave auction is a great place and there's bound to be at least 200 million berries there, of which 10% is mine for liberating it from evil hands. We could do with some additional cash, Captain. Can never have too much of the stuff after all."

"Unlike most crews we aren't broke but that's thanks to Tenya's rigid money management and how much you steal for us Toru." Izuku said thinking on it. "But this is an immoral practice so they don't deserve to have it. Alas given where we are there are likely to be World Nobles at it so we can't do anything about them. However, I trust you to not do anything risky Toru so go and spy on it and steal any money used to buy slaves or held by the establishment serving them as they don't deserve it. You know the deal though."

"I do Captain, don't worry if its between cash and revealing myself I'll get out asap." Toru said as her body flickered. "See you in a bit Captain."

Izuku nodded at that as Toru warped the light that was hitting her body so that it passed through her rendering her invisible and the moment she vanished Izuku presumed that she was gone to wherever she needed to go. He trusted his crew implicitly and knew that they'd do their jobs to the best of their abilities.

Hopefully things remained relatively calm, at least within acceptable margins for a place like the Sabaody Archipelago, and they could leave without an issue. Alas things were already in motion that would soon make the Archipelago a warzone and it would all stem from one place and one person who's supremely justified and satisfying punch would have drastic repercussions.

I think that's a good place to leave this chapter off. Here we got a taste of the 5 new crews via their Supernovas (except Najenda who's busy disposing of a dead Celestial Dragon so that no one realizes until after they've left that one is dead), introduced some of the other crewmates, learned about some of the Devil Fruits at play (and see one of them in action), and set things up nicely for what is to come next. I am sure that y'all know what that will be so there's not much more to say on that front or this chapter in general. As such I will leave it off here. If you liked this please favorite, follow, leave a review, or let me know in a PM and if there are any questions will posed in reviews and PMs I will try to answer them as best I can. Until next time.
