The Straw Hats have arrived on their final stop before descending to Fish-man Island and onto the New World, the Sabaody Archipelago. However, they're not the only big name rookies present, they are just one of 14 rookie crews present and the other 13 all have big names as well. Mass deep crossover with Fairy Tail, My Hero Academia, Black Clover, Akame ga Kill, and RWBY.

4. Chapter 4: Auction House Brawl

Here is the fourth chapter in this story released in accordance with my upload schedule for this story. This is a bit earlier than planned because I had to break up the next chapter into two (chapter 5 is drafted) because it was getting too long, plus with how busy this month will be I'm not sure if I'll get another one out before the end of it so I figured I'd get it done while I could so y'all could enjoy it. Anyway, Luffy's just struck a Celestial Dragon which means that shit has truly hit the fan so let's see what's happening in the auction house in the aftermath of that glorious punch. That is all that I have for the administrative stuff I have for y'all and while there are no questions that need answers but there is a guest review that needs a response so I will do that now. Do keep them coming as your support is the best motivation for me to keep producing chapters at this kind of rate.

To KGBeastboy (guest), thank you for your review and suggestions, I will address them now. Ice and fire are the two hardest to adapt for sure and currently the plan with both is to do what I can when I can. Your suggestion of Mythical Zoan fruits is very helpful in this regard and while I don't want to dilute their importance there are a few that this idea really works for as will be seen in time. There is less on the ice front with the only two being the Chilly-Chilly and Snow-Snow Fruits which is why I'm considering things more in line with the Heat-Heat Fruit or other non-canon temperature based fruits. So far there's not been much of an issue for the main ones but there are a lot of minor ones that you did point out just in case they appear, which in the case of someone like Kezoukaku is likely due to the whole Wano connection. I will say this, not all characters brought in and adapted outside the crews will get Devil Fruits, in fact one won't and there will be a very clear reason for it and it will lead to a side plot that I'm working on though it won't fully come to light until during Whole Cake I'd say (I'm skipping that arc as there's no need for new crews to be there but other, important, things will be going on). As for the suggestions, they're not bad though some are a bit similar but I will keep them in mind and see if they work for minor characters when needed. As for the idea of using another Dog-Dog kitsune style Mythical Zoan, that's not a bad idea as I am aware of the various tails kitsune can have. I will look into them to see what works based on the folklore of them. As for the Admirals, remember that Kizaru was only sent because of Luffy, not the other Super Rookies there but given the number and what is about to happen they may send two and I've already factored that into the next chapter. Whether or not it's Esdeath or the other new Admiral I won't say, a lot will depend on what works with the current plan which is rather narrow as there's a lot going on right now so there's not much I can do to change what I've already planned but adding a second Admiral may work you'll just have to wait and see. Lastly, the Devil Fruit suggestions, again you're surprisingly accurate on several of them. Naturally both Grey (thank god that Gray and Grey are spelt differently) and Chelsea's fruits will match what they can do though done so in ways that differ from the Clone-Clone Fruit and each other and your names for them are better than what I had initially planned so thank you there and while I've never seen canon confirmation that Grey needs touch for her magic, having that as a feature for her Devil Fruit would make sense and this can play into an awakening at some point to be more in line with her actual magic. As for Gauche and Leone, yeah you guessed those correct those are the names I've used for both of them though as with all but three Devil Fruits (Yami's and two others) I didn't have designs for them so I will certainly consider those. Lastly, Asta's Devil Fruit. While this wasn't my initial plan as I'd not thought far enough ahead at the time, you aren't the first to suggest this for Asta and as of right now it is very likely that this will be the path I take with Asta's as it does work well and fit with things nicely both for himself and One Piece's lore and will become one of the 4 Devil Fruits that are feared the most, a little tease for all that I have planned. However, name wise the fake name will be different, I already have a good name that works for it, while a true name can't be done until we learn the name of Saturn's Devil Fruit as I feel like a Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit that is an actual devil might be more in line with Saturn's so I want to get a naming sense from that but as any revelations like this won't happen until Wano there's ample time. Appearance wise though that is a good suggestion for Asta's fruit and works well and kinda fitting for Asta plus as he can't swim in Black Clover he never really feels the weakness of a Devil Fruit. Do keep the ideas coming, the descriptions and names help a lot, and keep reading and enjoying my work.

Chapter 4: Auction House Brawl

Shock and silence radiated through the auction hall as pretty much everyone, or at least the non-pirates in attendance, had their jaws open and eyes wide in the wake of the punch that had just happened. The only sounds being made was the panting of Straw Hat Luffy as he stood on the stairs his fists still clenched and the slight rustle of dust as it rose from the debris the punch had causes.

All attention was now on Straw Hat after such a bold and defiant act, even Nacht's was as he remained merged with the shadows only he'd used the distraction Luffy's arrival had caused to move to the top of the room and use the deep shadows in the ceiling above the lights to look down on all that was going on. It gave him a good bird's eye view and he'd need it for all that was coming.

Nacht could see Saint Charlos on his back several rows up from where he'd been punched, a clear fist imprint in his left cheek as he groaned unconsciously blood all over his puffy face as a path of destroyed seats had been left in his wake. It was a sight to behold and one Nacht would at least enjoy given how bad the World Nobles were though the consequences would rain down upon them the moment it became known what Straw Hat had done.

However, at the moment neither Luffy nor his crew seemed to care about that. In addition to him, the rest of the Straw Hats that were present, all but three members of their crew if Nacht's intel on them since was correct, were on the upper landing stone faced, arms crossed. The slight exception was Pirate Hunter Zoro who had one of his swords partially out of the sheath showing that he too was about to act before he Captain beat him to the punch, literally. Both were Supernovas so it made sense they'd be the first two to react.

Finally after a moment someone spoke about the hit, one of the guards who naturally hadn't acted as no one expected a Celestial Dragon to be assaulted, but that was it as Luffy cracked his knuckles, put his hat on, and looked at the auctioneer as he gaped at what Luffy had done. Nacht couldn't help but crack a smile, not that anyone could see it when he was one with the shadows, because it had been a great punch and the man had more than deserved it.

Even the other Captains present were showing their interest in what their fellow Captain had done. They were either chuckling, smirking, smiling or staring wide eyed at what had happened. All that, along with the shock, was broken when Luffy spoke to the room at large.

"Sorry about that everyone." Luffy said his voice calm and normal as if he'd not just broken one of the greatest taboos in the world. "But now that I've punched that guy there's going to be a Navy Admiral heading here with a warship and let me tell you those guys are tough."

Straw Hat wasn't wrong, striking a Celestial Dragon like that was a guaranteed way to get an Admiral to appear and as at least two of them were superior in their respective Logia hierarchies, it was going to be tough to deal with them. Still, Nacht couldn't leave just yet as Zoro put his sword away and he watched the female Straw Hat, based on her hair the words that had been spoken earlier she was Cat Burglar Nami, rush down to make sure that the fish-man was ok. She seemed perfectly fine with the situation regarding the punch and more concerned with the fish-man, Hachi if Nacht had heard correctly.

In fact it seemed that all the Straw Hats were calm about the situation which given their Captain's history seemed to be par for the course. Nacht certainly knew that well seeing as he followed an equally crazy Captain who had a habit of destroying things first without questioning if it was a good idea and then asking no more questions afterwards before he just left, so he could sympathize with the Straw Hats. Still, that calm was about to be broken as the other male Celestial Dragon, Charlos's father, stood up and turned to the Straw Hats after chatting with his daughter.

"You filthy scum, how dare you raise your inferior hands to my son!" The Celestial Dragon shouted as he raised his walking stick at them and revealed that it was a gun as well. "You will pay for striking a god!"

He fired several shots off, all of which missed, but the sound of the gunfire broke the crowd out of whatever shock that was remaining. Straw Hat had angered the Celestial Dragons and now shit was about to hit the fan so the rich citizens screamed in panic and fled, rushing to the main exit and trying to push their way out of the auction hall.

The only ones who didn't move were the various pirate crews present though not even Nacht noticed the one lone pirate slip off and head to the area behind the stage as chaos erupted in the room. Even with his Devil Fruit powers, if you didn't cast a shadow he couldn't tell if you were there or not.

As the crowd was fleeing, the Celestial Dragon with the walking stick gun, Saint Roswald apparently, was still shooting and yelling about his divine bloodline and what they were descended from but he couldn't hit Luffy at all. That only lasted a moment before Nacht saw the blond man in a suit, Black Leg Sanji if he recalled correctly, leap down with a flip and kick the gun away knocking Saint Roswald back though he didn't kick the Celestial Dragon.

That got the guards' attention and two charged Sanji but Nacht watched as he effortlessly beat both with a single kick each before telling the pervert in a speedo, Cyborg Franky, to free Camie. It was a bit moot as Franky was already running down the stairs to do just that but it at least showed who was tasked with getting the mermaid out of the predicament that she was in while the other Straw Hats also leapt into action.

All this was too good an opportunity to pass up and so as the guards streamed in from behind the stage and around Camie in her tank while others tried to push through leaving crowd of panicked patrons to get to the Straw Hats and detain them Nacht remained where he was. He had a chance to see the capabilities of the Straw Hats first hand which could be useful so he just looking down on the scene as Luffy kicked a few guards away and Zoro cut some more down wielding two of his three swords before a bunch piled on only to be driven back in a whirlwind of swords in a rather impressive display of swordsmanship.

As he was doing this, Franky was punching and burning his way through even more guards that were trying to stop him. Meanwhile Nami screamed as she ran away from the ones trying to catch her only to trip and roll down but it had all been a ruse to distract them as she created storm clouds over head.

Nacht was really impressed by that, she'd pretended to be scared, at least from what it looked like to him, so that she could distract the guards and use whatever that staff of hers was to make thunder clouds that then zapped the metal armor wearing guards with lightning and downed them. It was valid strategy and all this was great intel on the Straw Hats fighting capabilities that Nacht could take by to the crew.

Once he saw enough, however, Nacht would move through the shadows and slip away from the auction house and Grove 1 in general. There was no doubt going to be a Navy cordon of the auction house soon so best to leave right away though even if there was already one he could still avoid it so long as there were connected shadows, and make his way back to the tavern in Grove 27.

After what Straw Hat did there was no question that a Navy Admiral was inbound and Yami needed to be alerted to that because it was time for the Black Bulls to get the hell off of Sabaody and head to the New World. That is if Yami could be persuaded to not engage the Admiral which was why Nacht was leaving before anything else happened because this would take a while.

The punch that Straw Hat landed on the Celestial Dragon and the chaos that it caused was perfect for Toru. The moment the auction house devolved into panic after Saint Roswald started shooting at Luffy and the Straw Hats began fighting the guards she slipped off and headed to the area behind the stage to find the auction house's safe, while picking pockets of the attendees as she went because they didn't deserve to have money if this was what they were spending it on.

She wasn't the only one leaving in the chaos as Nacht was going to do so as well in a few moments, but she didn't know he was there, or who he was, so she didn't realize that. All Toru was focused on at the moment was getting into the backrooms of the auction house so that she could steal all the cash that they had on hand.

It didn't take Toru long to reach the back, the stage had easy access thanks to the wings of it, and she'd already secured a good bit of pocket change along the way. However, that was just a small bonus, the real icing was the safe where the real money was being held and a place like this was bound to have plenty so she hurried behind the stage and began searching for the office.

Thankfully the area there wasn't that large as most was taken up by the cells, which currently housed a giant and an old man with gray hair, a goatee and a scar on his right side of his face that bisected his right eye though didn't damage it, that Toru ran through and came to a corridor with doors along it. She quickly checked each room until she finally found what had to be the auction house manager's office and grinned because she'd hit paydirt. That was because in the room there was a large safe, the keys to the shackles, and a few chests that had to have more in them as well.

To top it off she found sheets of papers that detailed sales of slaves to clients, what species were bought, amounts, client names, and fair amount of other useful paperwork. No record on who actually ran the auction house other than a name, Joker, but regardless this was valuable information that they could sell to the right buyer or that Toru could use as leverage should she end up cornered by someone like the Night Pirates. True she had a strong sense what would come of those one these lists but they bought slaves so she wasn't exactly sympathetic to them. With all that in mind, Toru set to work in the office.

The papers were the first thing she took as they were out, well the ones for the captives that were in today's auction, and on the desk. That meant that the other papers were likely in the desk and all it took was a little lockpicking, a talent Toru had picked up to go with her Devil Fruit powers, to unlock it and find a trove of documents in it. Toru also found some lose cash which she took before she moved onto the chests and safe though she grabbed the shackle and collar keys in the process just in case they were useful as well, though regardless she'd toss them to the captives on her way out to free them.

Again the chests were easy as they were just locks so she picked them and as Toru expected she found treasure in them that was likely waiting to be converted into cash. It was annoying that she couldn't take it all but Toru wasn't strong enough to haul it. Thankfully she had a decent eye for what was valuable and took various gems that could be exchanged for a high price from them that she could carry before leaving them open for someone else to take.

That just left the safe which would have the hard cash in it. However it would pose a problem for her for one glaring reason, despite all her skills Toru had no clue how to crack a safe. The reasons was simple, she never needed to learn it because both Kyoka and Mezo had Devil Fruit powers that amplified their hearing in various ways so they could crack a safe with ease and usually they only hit a safe once the area was clear to do so when they could take their time looting it.

However, even when they couldn't Toru didn't need to learn because Mei had made a special tool for it just in case Toru needed to break into a safe, or out of a sticky situation as there were many uses for it. As such, Toru reached into a pocket the strap around her abdomen and pulled it out though she made sure to keep it invisible.

If it could be seen, though, the item would look like a small glue gun of sorts with a trigger and fine nozzle that was capped but instead of having a glue cartridge the chamber was hollow but for a special tube that ran through it and the handle to a sack that dangled from the bottom of it which was also made of a special material. It had to be because the contents of the sack wasn't glue or anything like that but an exceptionally concentrated and potent acid that was capable of eating through steel so the material had to be strong enough to resist it and despite looking thin had several special layers to it.

This was something that only the Might Pirates had access to as the acid was a unique acid that couldn't be found in nature but then again when it was made by the consumer of the Sizzle-Sizzle Fruit it made sense. One of Toru's closest friends on the ship, Mina, had eaten the strange Logia type Devil Fruit a while back and became an Acid Woman able to create acid of various potencies and viscosities for a wide variety of uses.

The moment that the crew's engineer, Mei, had realized the potential of Mina's acid she'd spent many hours in her workshop on the ship creating a material that was resistant to the acid. After that she'd spent even more hours working with Mina to develop the specially resistant material that was needed to make the acid gun that Toru was now using, along with other tools that could make use of the acid that Mina produced.

Therefore, all it took was a few drops on the hinges, locks, and the seam where the locks were engaged for the acid to work as it sizzled and ate through them so that the door could fall off and crash to the floor with a loud boom. Normally that would have bothered tory but given the sounds of battle still coming from the auction hall she knew that no one would hear it.

As the safe door crashed to the ground Toru capped the gun and put it back, the acid in it was precious as it took a lot out of Mina to make it this potent so Toru only used what she needed, as she stepped onto the door of the safe. The moment that Toru looked into it a grin spreading across her face as she saw the stacks of cash, plenty of high end jewelry, and exceptionally fine gems in the safe.

Without missing a beat Toru reached in and began pulling out the cash and stuffing it into the bags on her along with the jewelry and gems that she found but quickly became apparent that she didn't have enough room on her to take it. Thankfully a quick glance around the room revealed that there were a few suitcases in it, likely for this purpose given the treasure needed to be converted to cash, so Toru went over to them to get them and fill them with the cash.

The best part though was that once the cases were in her hands Toru could extend her power over them, and take them as well. Given the hell that Straw Hat would put them through with that punch Toru was going to get her crew's money's worth from this place.

It was as Toru was moving the money into the suitcases and stacking it neatly so that it all fit that she heard it. She'd been so focused on her task that she'd let her guard slip a bit and not realized that someone had barged into the office as she was working. That and the fighting should have distracted everyone but she still chastised herself for letting herself get distracted.

"Hey!" A male voice said as soon as the newcomer barged into the room. "Whoever you are, what are you doing?"

Toru reacted instinctively as she leapt at the sound of the voice and turned, her right wrist flicking so that a knife shot into her palm that she threw at the intruder in a single, smooth, move while going for a gut shot that would incapacitate but not kill. Well it would but the knife appeared in the air as it left her hand and flew true before it slammed into the intruder's gut with a clang of metal on metal. That snapped Toru out of her reaction and she got a good look at the man before her.

He was tall, easily over 7 feet easy, wearing only an open, purple, floral shirt, a thick gold chain, and speedos with bulbous arms that had stars tattooed on the forearms and bright blue hair swept up in a stylish quaff with a three pointed chin. His nose was flat and made of metal metal though the rest of his face looked normal as he looked down at the knife that hit him his eyes hidden behind a pair of shades.

After he registered what it was he raised his right arm and part of it detached up and several small holes that could fire bullets, at least Toru thought they were bullets, were pointing at where the knife had come from. Thankfully she'd already moved to the side after she threw it so she wasn't in the path of any attack though it would destroy the safe and all the money in it if the man attacked and Toru didn't want that.

However, Toru knew that she could avoid that as she instantly recognized who she was facing. This was Cyborg Franky, a shipwright from Water 7 who'd earned a 44 million berry bounty following his actions in Ennis Lobby during the Straw Hats attack as well as the destruction of some classified blueprints apparently. Why he'd been there in the first place Toru didn't know but his presence here confirmed the reports she'd heard, he'd joined the Straw Hats in the wake of that incident though seeing as Toru had seen him earlier when he'd walked in she'd already deduced that.

"I asked a question and I'd rather not start blasting." Franky said again as a mechanical sound came from his arm. "I'm sure you don't want me to destroy all that money you're taking in the process and yes I can see you there even if you're invisible."

Franky was bluffing of course; he'd not added infrared sight to his eyes but this gave him the idea to do so the next time he got a chance to upgrade his body. He'd heard of that invisible guy when they were on Thriller Bark, Sanji ranted a lot about him for some reason, so Franky presumed this was the same person using the Clear-Clear Fruit. It could also be someone else using some high tech item though so he'd need to be able to see through that in the future just in case the crew ran into it.

"Well damn, guess you got me there." Toru said as she deactivated her power and shimmered into existence though as Franky had been talking she'd taken the keys to the collars and shackles out as she felt they'd be a useful bargaining tool given the Straw Hats' desire to save the mermaid. "Though seeing as you didn't move with me I know that you can't see me. Still, after what your insane Captain did I'm not letting that money go."

Franky blinked behind his glasses as he turned weapon still active to see the attractive girl with chartreuse hair standing to the right of where he'd been aiming with her hands in the air and a ring of keys dangling from her right index finger. She only wore a tank top and shorts but she was covered in bags, pouches, and knives that were strapped all over her body with the first two bulging with what had to be stolen treasure. If Franky hadn't suspected that it was a Devil Fruit at play, which he did when the knife appeared, he did now though he'd not expected a girl around his Captain's age to be the user.

"You're not with the auction house I take it." Franky said glancing around at the open and empty desk draws, chests that where displaying treasure, and mostly looted safe though why the door to the safe was on the floor was a mystery to Franky as he couldn't see the acid marks on it. "Some kind of thief then, one with a Devil Fruit that renders you invisible. That's rare and I thought it had already been eaten."

"There are more ways for a Devil Fruit to grant invisibility then the simplicity of the Clear-Clear Fruit." Toru said simply no fear in her voice at the situation because she knew that she could vanish before Franky fired at her. "But yes I'm a thief, you got me. I knew that there'd be an auction today and with so many high profile Super Rookies on the archipelago helpfully taking the spotlight, well there was bound to be some chaos especially with crews like yours, the Black Bulls, Fairy Tail, and Night Pirates around so I thought I'd help myself to some money that was used to buy human misery. They don't deserve it after all and I'll make much better use of it."

"I won't disagree with you there." Franky admitted never letting his weapon off Toru. "But I don't know who do you work for so I why should I trust that this won't be used for some other kind of misery."

"Now, now, a girl's gotta have her secrets so I'm not telling you that." Toru said with a grin, she took pride in that her wanted poster was literally blank but for her epithet, Invisible Girl, so no one knew her name or face which meant that she could move around freely when she was alone and not using her Camo-Camo powers. "But here, as a sign of good faith you can have these. You clearly came for them so I snagged them just in case they were of use, I was going to toss them to the captives regardless as they don't deserve this pain, but you want to free your friend Camie so take them."

At that Toru tossed the keys to Franky but they were short, deliberately so in fact, and clattered to the ground. That was her sign of good faith as it was a powerful bargaining chip that she'd just given away so Franky showed his own by deactivating his weapon and lowering his arm before he stooped down to pick up the keys.

"Thanks, I was looking for these." Franky admitted as he picked up the keys. "There's no reason to fight if you're just here for money though I'm still dubious as to what you'll do with it."

"All I care about is the money." Toru said which wasn't entirely true, she was loyal to her crew and this was mostly for them minus her 10% commission for stealing it but Franky didn't need to know that. "I'm a girl of exceptional and expensive tastes so I need plenty of it to spend on spoiling myself."

"You're like Nami then." Franky said as he rose with the keys. "And as good at getting money as she is."

"Please." Toru said with a grin as her body shimmered and she warped the light that was hitting her to make it pass through her and everything that was on her. "The Cat Burglar's got nothing on me. Now go, I've got a withdrawal to finish."

With that Toru vanished before Franky's eyes though she didn't go for the cash waiting for him to leave before doing so while also keeping him on his toes as to where she might be in the room. The cyborg just shook his head at that.

"I have a feeling Sanji would love that power as well." Franky muttered before he turned and left the room.

The moment he did Toru let out a sigh of relief, she actually hadn't moved at all, and quickly went back to work. She needed to hurry up and finish before another interruption and then get back to their ship, the All Might, so that they could leave. After what Straw Hat had done they needed to get out of here and as she worked she pulled out her transponder snail to call in to Tenya what had happened so that the ship could be ready.

"Tenya, Toru here, don't speak just listen and relay this to Izuku once I'm done." Toru said as she spoke quietly into the transponder snail the moment it was picked up and a pair of square glasses formed over its eyes though it was currently invisible thanks to Toru's power being extended to it. "We've got a situation so call back any crew on leave and prepare the ship for sail right away regardless of if it's coated or not, we can finish that later if need be. Straw Hat Luffy just punched a Celestial Dragon in the face so an Admiral will be on his way soon enough and likely with a warship full of marines. I'm robbing a slave auction house blind and will then get to the ship, contact Izuku and anyone else on leave to get back ASAP."

With that Toru ended the call before waiting for a response. She had her own job to do and fully intended on doing it though if she could see some of the other Supernovas present fight she'd stick around long enough to do so because information like that was always useful to have. That was secondary though as she went back to robbing the auction house of as much cash as she could carry knowing that Tenya would relay the message and ensure that their crew was ready to leave the moment they could because it was about to get really hot in Sabaody.

"Can we join in boss? Please?" Leone asked with a grin itching to beat up some of the guards as they watched the Straw Hats take them down effortlessly while Saint Roswald yelled impotently from on top of the small box set up for the Celestial Dragons, how he'd climbed up there was a mystery as no one had seen him do so, and ordered one of his aids to summon the Navy Admiral and warships. "I want to get my claws in these bastards and rip them apart."

"No, this is their fight and we'd just get in their way so restrain those instincts that that Devil Fruit brought out in you." Najenda said shaking her head as they watched. "Plus this lets us know how they fight."

"But I want to crush some skulls." Leone said with a slight pout. "And not because I'm more ferocious as a Carnivorous Zoan user but because these guys deserve it. They know what this place is and serve it so they should die as well."

"They are valid targets but we shouldn't get involved right now, the Straw Hats clearly have it under control as these grunts have nothing on them." Najenda as Pirate Hunter Zoro slashed the air and took out three of the guards with a projected slash that also sliced off part of the fishbowl at the top at an angle causing it to slide off and fall to the ground where it shattered. "Though all the rumors were true, that Captain is crazy. He certainly earned that 300 million bounty and I don't doubt that it will get much higher in time."

"Not a bad swordsman either." Akame noted as she watched Zoro work. "Only Tatsumi and I can do that on the crew."

"Pirate Hunter Zoro, he's got a 120 million berry bounty making him a Super Rookie as well which for a non-Captain is a big achievement before entering the New World." Najenda noted. "He's right up there with you Akame in terms of sword skill."

"A worthy challenge one day then." Akame said. "But form now is there anything that we can do? I agree with Leone, we should do something to help out."

"Alright but be strategic and only take out guards that aren't near Straw Hats." Najenda said conceding that the girls had a point as the fighting continued and Leone began to rise but Najenda wasn't done as there was only one thing that they could really do. "From range though so that we don't move and draw attention to ourselves."

"Aww." Leone complained.

"Looks like it's just me as Tatsumi's range isn't exactly good for use indoors but don't worry, I won't show any mercy." Akame said as she looked around and then flicked her wrist towards a guard that was running onto the stage. "I prefer a straight swordfight when I don't have to be sneaky but my Devil Fruit does have its uses."

From Akame's hand a small, handless, blade that was impossible sharp with a fine point shot out and flew through the room in seconds. It twitched slightly as it flew so that it went through the guard's visor and into his eye killing him almost instantly and causing him to crash to the ground. He didn't hit it before Akame continued sending blade after blade from her palms at the guards that were still pouring in downing each with a single one to either the eye, throat, or heart depending on what she could best hit.

"Damn I know those bastards forced you to eat the Blade-Blade Fruit as part of your training but man does it come in handy." Leone said with a whistle as a flying fish crashed through the roof but she ignored it and the woman leaping off it, based on the arms shooting from her back and forming wings it was one of the Straw Hats, Nico Robin, who'd come to aid her crew. "You can take these bastards out from here. I can't do that, I gotta get up close and personal to sink my claws and fangs into them, or just punch them whichever works best."

"It was a benefit for sure, really bit them in the ass as well." Akame said flicking more as a walking skeleton landed in the battle from a second fish that crashed through the roof and rose before complaining about his back as a small racoon thing, that was clearly Tony Tony Chopper who'd shrunk down and began administering first aid to the fish-man though there were now a hell of a lot of questions about just what Chopper was, gave the skeleton a bottle of milk. "Once the boss removed my collar I could really show them the error their made in forcing me to eat it."

"Er, what's up with the talking skeleton?" Tatsumi asking ignoring the chatter, he knew Akame's horrific backstory and did his best to help her forget about it, as the skeleton seemed to be revitalized by the milk and pulled a sword from his cane and set to work joining the fray while Robin used her Devil Fruit powers to break the necks and backs of various guards. "I've never seen that before in any form. Clearly it's a man who's skilled with a sword but the whole skeleton things is just strange."

"Obviously he's part of their crew though even by their standards that's odd." Najenda said surprised. "Must be new as we only thought they had 8 based on the reports that came out of Water 7 after their attack on Ennis Lobby. Interesting find for sure. As for why he's a skeleton, the only explanation is a Devil Fruit."

"Any idea which Devil Fruit? I've never heard of one that can do that." Tatsumi said as the auctioneer waved a pistol around demanding that the mermaid be protected so that he could make his money. "Oh and keep an eye on that asshole."

"He'll die soon enough but just to be safe, Akame if he makes a move for the mermaid, end him." Najenda said and Akame nodded as she took down another guard that had just run onto the stage. "Regardless, we'll make sure he dies. As for the Devil Fruit, no clue. My guess either some kind of zombification one that preserves you after death, one that allows the user to bring a skeleton back to life, or a revival one though why he's a skeleton in that case I can't say. I'd guess it's the latter based on what I know about Devil Fruits but who knows."

"True, who…" Tatsumi said before he was interrupted by a scream of panic and he looked up to see a long nosed guy with dark skin and black hair fall through one of the holes the flying fish had created only to land right on Saint Roswald and take him out while breaking his fall in the process. "Huh, that's a good strategy for dealing with a Celestial Dragon, and a useful cushion."

"Not bad." Bulat agreed as Akame killed another guard and Luffy welcomed his crew confirming that the skeleton, who by process of name deduction was called Brook, was on it while also confirming that the man who'd fallen down was called Usopp. "Though they've got to hurry this up. The marines will be here soon."

"No point, they're already here." Najenda said. "Remember that I got a report from Lubbock on the way over, they've got the place was surrounded but were in hiding waiting to make their move. As they couldn't know that pirates would be here, or that one would punch a Celestial Dragon, they are likely here for someone in the auction that they are after, the lists and images are published beforehand, and if so then it's one of the captives who we've not seen yet. No doubt it's surrounded by now though."

"Then we bust through them." Leone said with a grin as she slammed a fist into her palm. "Just let me at them boss, I'll tear them to shreds."

"Not yet." Najenda said as Law explained the same thing about being surrounded to Straw Hat. "And besides we have something for that but we need more intel before we make our move. This plays to our advantage and we might get to take down an Admiral as well, that's big."

"Fine." Leone said as the fighting seemed to stop as Law finished explaining things and as he did Nico Robin spoke getting all their attention as clearly Luffy didn't recognize the man talking.

"That's Trafalgar Law, he's a pirate Captain like you Luffy." Robin said clarifying who he was to her Captain as Luffy questioned the polar bear mink present who seemed to get depressed that he was reminded of the fact that he was a bear. "In fact all those remaining are pirates. The one at the back by the door is Eustass 'Captain' Kid."

"Wait you mean one of the two who has a higher bounty than Luffy?" Brook asked as Luffy looked to the red haired standing there man who chuckled as he looked back at Luffy. "He's here too? Is the other guy with a higher bounty, Yami Sukehiro here as well?"

"No but I see a lot of other Super Rookies, in fact only one of the Super Rookies present has a bounty under 200 million and that's Zoro." Robin said as she looked around and pointed them out while Sanji made a crack about Zoro being the lowest of them to which Zoro pointed out that he was at least worth more than 100 million which got them bickering, again but Robin ignored it as her eyes first looked at Ruby before settling on Najenda's crew. "I see that the Red Reaper, Ruby Rose, Captain of the Rose Pirates is here with three of her crew and well, well, well I should have expected that the Night Pirates would be at something like this."

"The Night Pirates!" Chopper yelped as Sanji and Zoro finished their latest quarrel. "As in the ones who specialize in killing."

"Only valid targets, not civilians like the Kid Pirates have been known to target but yes they are experts at killing." Robin said as she looked over and met Najenda's eyes, well eye as she only had one good one while Akame closed her hands so that no one realized what she'd been doing. "In fact all three of their Super Rookies are present. The woman with the eyepatch is their Captain, 'General' Najenda. The black haired girl is the One Strike Murderer, Akame, and the brown haired unassuming boy is the Adaptive Monster, Tatsumi. Each of them is worth more than 230 million berries, the women are worth more than 250 and that includes the Red Reaper."

They were certainly big names and Najenda had to nod at Robin for being so well informed however before anything could happen, or Sanji and Brook could react to several pretty female pirates being present, there was a gasp from the stage. That got all their attention as it had been Camie who gasped and they all turned to the stage in time to see the third Celestial Dragon who they'd all forgotten about standing on a step ladder and pointing a pistol at Camie in her prison tank.

"This has gone on far too long." The female Celestial Dragon said getting everyone's attention. "If this worthless fish is what drove these barbaric insects to such extremes then I have no choice but to kill it. That will end this and then the Admiral coming can deal with you scum."

"That's it, kill her and the auctioneer." Najenda said coldly though all heard it as the auctioneer begged the Celestial Dragon, Saint Shalria apparently, to not kill the mermaid as she wasn't worthless, or at least not to kill her until he was paid the 500 million berries that Shalria's brother had bid on her. "Now Akame."

Akame didn't hesitate as she flicked her wrist and sent a blade at the Celestial Dragon but she'd turned as Akame sent it and shot the auctioneer for daring to stop her causing Akame to miss. That was rare but it didn't deter Akame, however, and she sent another one as Shalria turned back to Camie to kill her while the others tried to act in time. The second blade flew true, or at least it would have but before it could reach the woman there was a pulse in the air and Saint Sharlia passed out and fell back off the step ladder.

It didn't stop the blade from doing damage though as it hit Shalria in her upper right chest and then exited her shoulder as she fell to land unconscious on the floor blood pooling around her and staining her white suit thing as the gun clattered to the ground. Based on the angle Akame couldn't be sure what she'd hit but there was a good chance that blood loss would make up for her missing something vital.

A bald aid who served her father tried to say something so that help could be gotten for Shalria but he was ended quickly with a blade to the throat that silenced him. As he fell the wall behind the stage was ripped open by a giant of all people and an old man with shoulder length gray hair, a stylish beard in a goatee fashion, glasses that didn't hide the scar over his right eye and wearing a yellow shirt under a white, hooded coat with a green interior, shorts and flip flows walked out of the hole.

To those who knew, which was Najenda and maybe a few others though she didn't check, it was clear that the bespectacled man was responsible for taking down Shalria as he walked around the blood talking about how he'd gotten the money he came for so it was time to leave and blow it at the gambling house. It seemed he was some messed up old man, the giant said as much, who'd gotten himself locked up here just to steal the money of the person who bought him but even he seemed to think it was ridiculous in hindsight and laughed at it because no one would buy him as a slave.

The pirates just stared at the laughing man uninterested as he laughed there before stopping and noting the captive audience while the guards asked about him and the giant who'd just appeared. They were indeed captives meant to be sold as slaves but they'd not been put up yet as they were slotted to be sold after the mermaid and now they were free and without their collars so things weren't good for them. However, all this was shattered when Hachi spoke.

"Ra, Rayleigh." Hachi said pain in his voice and showing that the fish-man clearly knew the person but the moment that Najenda heard the name Rayleigh her good eye went wide and she recognized the scar from the photos she'd seen back in her Marine days. "What, what are you doing here?"

"Wait as in the coating mechanic we were looking for?" Chopper asked. "That's him?"

"That's no coating mechanic, at least no ordinary one that is." Najenda said quietly to her crew that was present as Rayleigh exchanged words with Hachi before realizing the state that he was in and surveying the room with a keen eye. "I can't believe that he's here of all places. I did wonder where he'd ended up but Sabaody wasn't one of the places I'd expected."

"Who is he?" Tatsumi asked as Rayleigh stroked his beard while muttering about what was going on and no one else spoke or moved.

"That's one of the most wanted pirates in the world, more so than even seven of the 8 Emperors I'd say though his bounty may not be as high as theirs are these days as I've not seen it since I left the marines." Najenda said quietly while Rayleigh continued to look around noting the downed Celestial Dragons, Camie, and the pirates that were present. "Dark King Silvers Rayleigh, the right hand to the Pirate King."

That got all four of her crew to blink and look at her in surprise as Rayleigh spoke having realized the situation and praising Hachi for standing up for what he believed in and praising the Straw Hats for believing in him as well. It was a shock to say the least that a pirate of that renown was here but before they could question it Rayleigh came to a decision and narrowed his eyes sending out a wave of intimidation that they could all feel.

It was targeted and took down all the non-pirates left and Najenda wasn't surprised at that as they were mere guards who didn't have strong wills. Still, it was impressive to see as she'd heard that Rayleigh possessed Conqueror's Haki and this, along with the blast that took down Saint Shalria, confirmed it. She didn't have Conqueror's Haki herself but she had a feeling one on her crew did but needed to unlock it first. That was for another time as the muttering stopped the moment Rayleigh addressed Luffy.

"That straw hat you wear, it suits a fearless man like yourself." Rayleigh said smiling as he spoke. "I recognize it, good. I've wanted to meet you for a while, Monkey D. Luffy."

"You have?" Luffy asked.

"Yes but first I should get the collar off your mermaid friend." Rayleigh said as he turned and set up the stepladder, ignoring the still bleeding out Saint Sharlia, and got on it to face Camie as they all watched in silence. "Alright, I'm going to remove your collar now. Are you ready?"

"Wait, it will explode." The starfish yelled. "Are you crazy old man? We're getting the keys so just hold up.""

This led to agreements and pleading from Chopper and Brook while Franky was apparently still searching for the key. No one else spoke however while Luffy didn't do anything, he just stayed there watching and waiting not stopping him despite pleas.

"Don't flinch." Rayleigh said to Camie ignoring the protests as he looked her in the eyes to help keep her calm.

"That's no ordinary man." Zoro said. "That power he used earlier; I don't know what it was but it was something strong as it knocked out all the remaining guards."

"That's not enough for him to risk Camie's life." Sanji said. "Where's Franky with that key? Damn it, I should have gone instead."

"He's got this." Najenda whispered to her crew as Rayleigh touched the collar setting it to ticking as he activated the explosive function in it which caused worries from everyone else as Camie whimpered and there were complaints as he grabbed the collar. "A man of his reputation won't let her die."

Najenda was right as there was an explosion that covered the stage and hid it from everyone but when it cleared Camie was free and unharmed and the collar gone from her, and the stage in fact as it had blown up entirely. As they saw that Camie was free Franky came out swinging the keys talking about the trouble he went to to find them and the random person who gave them to him but no one was listening to him.

"Now how did he pull that off?" Leone asked as they the starfish yell and rush down the stairs, tumbling over them, to get to Camie. "Those collars explode if tampered with as we saw but he still got it off before it did."

"They do, I saw a few do so back in the day and not just because the slaves tried to run away and were willing to die instead of serve those monsters." Akame said darkly and they all knew what she meant by that. "And I didn't know that there was a way around it."

"There are a few ways around the explosion." Najenda said as the starfish leapt into Camie's arms while Franky also asked about it but Rayleigh wasn't giving an answer. "The two that I can think of are advanced Armament Haki and a Devil Fruit power but the only Devil Fruit that I can think of with the capabilities to remove a collar like that was lost 11 years ago in the North Blue."

"What fruit was that?" Tatsumi asked.

"The Op-Op Fruit." Najenda said as they watched Rayleigh not really explain anything to Franky as he made sure that Camie was ok. "A valuable fruit sometimes called the Ultimate Devil Fruit though to maximize its potential you need specific medical knowledge. It's monetary value is 5 billion berries which attests to its powers."

"5 billion?" Leone asked her eyes wide. "Damn, that's a huge amount."

"It is but even then that's cheap for what that fruit is purported to be able to do if eaten by the right person." Najenda said. "I was just a recruit at the time but as a promising female I was assigned to Vice-Admiral Tsuru's command and she was one of the commanders during the Minion Island Incident that lost the fruit hence why I know of it. I wonder what happened to it because there's no evidence that the Don Quixote Pirates got their hands on it so where did it go? Clearly that wasn't the power of the Op-Op Fruit though."

"Something to speculate about another time." Bulat said. "If it wasn't that fruit then it has to be Haki."

"Haki can do that?" Akame asked, she was one of the few on the crew along with the boss and Bulat who was proficient in Haki though Tatsumi and Leone were getting there in their training which they planned to finish on some uninhabited island in the New World when they got there. "I thought that it can only protect and be used to bypass things like a Logia's intangibility."

"It can but I've heard of an advanced form of it that those who are exceptionally skilled can use." Najenda said. "But it takes a lot of specialized training and I don't know the specifics. Given that I don't think Rayleigh has a Devil Fruit it's likely that or some third way that I don't know about but we just saw Conqueror's Haki in action so Haki's the likeliest answer."

"So he does have that power, I was wondering if that wave of intimidation was it or not." Bulat said as Franky gave up and walked past Rayleigh and tossed the keys to the slaves to free themselves, which was good as that saved them the problem of doing it and could focus on taking out those who'd bought them, if they could find them that is. "Not a surprise, I've seen his picture before as well back when I was a marine and he's clearly aged since his heyday."

"It's a testament to the strength of the Pirate King's crew and his ability to lead that there was another user of Conqueror's Haki on it, it's rare for a crew to have two users of Conqueror's Haki." Najenda said as Rayleigh walked to the edge of the stage and jumped off it before walking up the steps. "They say that those with it have the traits of a king because unlike the other forms of Haki you have to be born with Conqueror's Haki so it's exceptionally rare. To have someone else with it on your crew, someone loyal and who still follows the leader, that's what it takes to truly conquer the seas."

"Oh sorry about that everyone, I didn't realize that there were other pirates here beyond the one crew." Rayleigh said interrupting their chatter, they were the only crew doing so besides the Straw Hats, as he looked around and noted the other 4 crews for the first time it seemed though Najenda wasn't sure about that. "You're all rather strong if you can handle something like that with no trouble as I wasn't directing it at the guards."

"I only recruit those who have what it takes to do our job, withstanding something like that would be expected from my crew." Najenda said simply. "Been a while since I experienced it though."

"Well I never expected to run into a true legend here of all places." Kid said from above his voice loud enough to get people's attention. "Dark King Silvers Rayleigh. What are you doing in a place like this old man?"

"I'd like to know that as well." Najenda added as Rayleigh began to walk up the steps to where Hachi was. "What are you doing here and right in the shadow of the Navy at that? A man like you should be far from them."

"So a few of your recognize me, I'm not surprised as I recognize you lot as well including a former Vice-Admiral turned pirate Captain because she saw the truth of the world does." Rayleigh said glancing at first Najenda and then Kid as he walked before he reached Hachi as he was talking and spoke to him while everyone focused on the old man. "But don't go calling me by my other name or title. Here I'm just a simple coating mechanic called Ray, nothing more. I'm retired and just want a quiet, peaceful life though I doubt I'll ever get that thanks to the Navy's memory. Anyway, looks like you'll live Hachi but you should be more careful, I've warned you about walking around on this archipelago."

"Yeah I know I'm sorry." Hachi said from the ground. "Things kinda got out of hand."

"I can tell." Rayleigh said before he turned to look at Luffy. "Thank you for what you did, I appreciate you saving my friend and his friend as well. It's a strong sign of your character, just as I'd expected."

"Hachi is my friend, so is Camie, so I was going to save them because they're not for sale, no one is." Luffy said. "But, er, what was that about you wanting to meet me? I don't know you old man."

"Let's save that for later because first we all need to get out of here." Rayleigh said as he got up. "If a former Vice-Admiral can recognize me then I'm sure others have as well and now this place is…"

"Alright you criminals!" A loud, official sounding, voice said over a snail speaker from outside getting all their attentions as they turned to the entrance to the auction hall. "Release the Roswald family immediately! Two Admirals are on their way so it's in your best interest to surrender now. If you don't, don't blame us for what happens to you rookies!"

At that Luffy, Kid, Law, and Ruby all glared the entrance. The only Captain present who didn't, though she too was looking at the door, was Najenda but that was also because unlike the other Captains she wasn't as active in fighting though it wasn't because she didn't want to, her extensive injuries just made it harder for her to do so and as such she focused more on plans and strategy than fighting these days.

"Why are the Navy treating us like innocent bystanders." Law said in response to that though he was smiling as he spoke. "Sure we got bounties but we didn't punch the Celestial Dragon."

"Well at least I got to see Straw Hat Luffy do something crazy so I'm not complaining about coming here." Kid said. "Still I'd rather avoid having to fight an Admiral at this moment in time."

"The slaves are free and we didn't have to fight." Ruby said though she was still rattled a bit by that intimidation wave and not because it affected her but because it was very similar to what she'd done a while back during the incident that led to Torchwick's arrest and she had no idea what it was. "That's good but now we're cornered."

"The right Admiral is fair game for us." Najenda said. "Just has to be one we can handle and with two coming that doubles the chance."

"Well if any of you are expecting me to help, I've used my power enough today so I can't aid you." Rayleigh said to the room. "I'm not as young as I once was after all. It's up to the new generation now. If they discover that I'm still here it will be really hard for me to stay around."

"Reputation or not, I don't worry I don't need a senior citizen to fight for me." Kid said as he pushed off the wall. "The longer we wait the worse it will be so I'm out see you. Now if you babies can't handle a few marines sit back and let a real man show you how he takes care of things."

As he spoke Kid was walking into the corridor that led to the entrance to the auction house. His words set off three of the four other Captains present and they all got up and swiftly followed him out. Only Najenda remained, again, but she had her reasons for doing so and as she did she pulled out a transponder snail to get a full situation report on what was going on outside the auction house. Only then would she act.

Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang had been watching the whole thing in silence except for a few outbursts from Ruby though the whole intimidation thing had really silenced her. It hadn't been that they didn't have questions, they did, they'd just been shocked and impressed by the situation so they'd remained silent. True Yang wanted to join the fray but felt that she'd get in the way as it was clear the Straw Hats were fighting as a crew but other than that they'd just sat and watched the whole thing unfold around them.

That was until the end when they were surrounded. Blake's heightened senses as a faunus had alerted her to marines that were setting up a cordon around the auction house and she'd whispered as much right before the announcement. They had to break out of the cordon for sure and when Kid made his statement, Ruby had acted.

"I'm not a man but I'm not going to sit here and let someone else break a whole for my crew." Ruby said as she leapt to her feet and rushed out before her crew could stop her, not that they actually could, while Law and Luffy also hurried to the exit after Kid as well. "I've got this so you boys don't need to worry about it. Let a girl handle this."

"No I'm going to do this." Luffy said as the three other Captains reached the entrance and quickly caught up to Kid so that they were walking four abreast with Law on the far right then Kid, Luffy, and finally Ruby while their crews just watched their Captains leave knowing that they couldn't stop them. "It's my friend that was rescued so I'm going to beat the marines and get us out of here."

"I'll do it, just shut up." Law said. "I don't need any help from you lot."

"Well you've decided to come." Kid said. "But this is my fight, you just sit back and watch me handle them."

"I told you; I'm going to do this." Luffy said as they all walked. "This will all be me."

"No me." Ruby said. "I'll beat them without getting hurt, just watch."

"Shut up!" Law said their voices carrying out to the Marines waiting for them. "I said I'd handle it."

"No, I'm going to take care of them." Luffy retorted. "They're mine."

"Back off, I'll make sure they're gone." Law said. "You don't need to butt in."

"Please, you boys won't be able to take the fight to them like I can." Ruby said. "Go back and let me deal with them."

"All of you go away I said I got it." Kid said.

"Beat it you three I'm going to do it." Luffy said as they reached the stairs down to the entrance and began to descend.

"Make me." Ruby said. "You can't stop me."

"Get lost, are you lot deaf or something?" Kid asked. "Go back inside and let me handle this."

"You can't tell me what to do." Luffy said. "No one tells me what to do."

"Yeah I'm with the crazy guy on this." Ruby said. "I don't take orders from anyone."

"You're all crazy now settle down and let me deal with them." Law said. "You'll just get in my way."

"You get out of my face Trafalgar." Kid said. "You're in my way."

"All three of you are in my way." Luffy said.

"No you're in my way." Ruby retorted.

"All of you need muzzles." Law responded.

"That won't shut me up." Ruby said as they reached the end of the steps. "So go ahead and try it."

"It's settled then." Luffy said as they came to a stop facing the bewildered Marines that were encircling the auction house. "Go on back inside you guys, this is my fight."

"Weren't you listening to me, I told all of you to go back inside." Kid said his arms folded across his chest. "I'm dealing with this and you lot can suck it."

"Try to boss me around like that again and you'll be the first to go down to me, Eustass." Law said glaring to his side. "You can't intimidate me."

"No one tells me what to do when I'm protecting my crew." Ruby said. "My friends are counting on their Captain and I'm going to deliver on that."

"Get ready!" A Marine said. "This is going to be tough."

"Yeah all four of them are Captains of their respective crews and all worth at 200 million berries or more." Another said. "The one is the straw hat is Monkey D. Luffy, he's worth 300 million."

"This fight is mine." Luffy said cracking his knuckles and grinning.

"The red head is Eustass Captain Kid worth 315 million." The same Marine said.

"No it's mine." Kid said his own grin large.

"Trafalgar Law, worth 200 million."

"Just keep bickering you lot." Law said.

"And the girl is Rose Ruby, worth 272 million."

"Keep the testosterone boys, I'll…" Ruby began before the other three joined her. "Handle this myself."

"Mortars, fire!" A Marine ordered as the quartet of Captains finished speaking.

At that several mortars were blasted right at the Captains. All had their own ways of dealing with them and Luffy was the first to react as he took a deep breath, and ballooned up in his rubber body not at all worried about a blunt, projectile, attack.

"Gum-Gum Balloon!" Luffy said as the two mortar balls hit his stomach and were bounced back landing on the ground between two mortars and blowing them up.

"Repel." Kid said a Luffy rebounded the two mortar bars off his belly, his right hand raised at a mortar ball that was coming to him as purple sparks appeared before he sent the ball back to the mortar that had sent it and blew up the mortar.

"ROOM." Law said as he created a blue circular bubble centered on him before the mortar aimed at him fired so that he could use his sword to cut the head off the Marine in front of him and then switch it with the mortar ball that was fired at him before it reached him causing it to blow up back at the mortar.

Thanks to Law's Devil Fruit, the very same Devil Fruit that Najenda had just been talking about inside though she of course couldn't see it, the man wasn't dead or even bleeding. That said his head was in Law's hand as he tossed it up and down.

"Three of them have powers!" A Marine yelled as Ruby sidestepped the mortar aimed at her which blew up on the stairs behind her. "Be careful of that!"

"Leave just enough Marines to go in and rescue the hostages, we need the rest here to handle them." The commanding officer barked and the Marines stepped to it with more from the back of the auction house running around to reinforce those in front of it. "Mortars, now! Ready…"

"Wait!" The head in Law's hand that was still being tossed up and down in the air said but that wasn't going to stop the coming attack.

The four Captains just grinned as the mortars and rifles were lined up ready to handle them as all four could do so with ease. However before they were fired Kid put his arms out and in front of Law and Luffy, Ruby was too far away but she was part of this as well.

"Don't you get in my way so stay put." Kid said grinning. "This is easy for me."

"Don't you dare put your hand in my face." Law said. "You'll lose it if you do that again."

"Just leave it to me!" Luffy yelled ducking under Kid's arms and running forward leaving them in his dust. "I kept telling you that I had this."

"Well he's quick." Ruby said as she pulled the rectangular item from her lower back as the mortars were fired at Luffy. "And slippery."

"Gum-Gum Finger Net!" Luffy yelled as he locked his fingers and stretched them out to catch all the mortar balls in said finger net.

"He can stretch!" Kid yelled as Luffy roared and began to swing the balls around in the finger net that Luffy had made. "Nothing was reported about that."

"What is that power?" Law asked. "Whatever it is he's got a good handle on it."

"Could ask the same of you." Ruby pointed out as a mortar ball fell out of the finger net and towards them. "You're holding a head that is still alive."

As Ruby spoke the mortar ball fell towards them so they all leapt out of the way of it as it landed between Kid and Law and blew up while the head Law was still holding screamed though he still didn't let it go. Ruby was pretty far away anyway but she had to leap to the side as well as Kid almost landed on her as he yelled at Luffy.

"What the hell are you doing Straw Hat!"

"Sorry." Luffy said with a laugh as he looked at them but he was still spinning so his neck was twisting as his head didn't move which was just freaky. "Not as tight as I expected.

"You're really screwed in the head." Kid said not realizing how much of a pun it was given that Luffy's neck was now in a corkscrew style.

"So cool what you do with your neck!" Ruby said stars in her eyes as an order was given to attack Luffy. "Wait, watch…"

Ruby didn't finish as Luffy laughed and released the mortar balls at the marines sent to take him out and they blew as they landed scattering the marines that were near them. The marines weren't done though as they fired even more mortars at Luffy this time forcing him back but he easily avoided them before stretching his leg out in a rubbery whip that took out the next wave.

Still the marines didn't relent as they fired another volley that blew off Luffy's straw hat so he turned and stretched his arm out to catch it before it hit the ground. The moment he caught it and breathed out a sigh of relief he brough his body to where his hand was putting it back on as the marines charged again.

This time it was Kid's turn to act as he created a magnet field around himself and attracted all the metal guns and swords that had been dropped so far, as well as a lot that weren't being used, to his body and brought them to him over Luffy's head in a storm. He then reversed the magnetism and repelled them back to the marines sending swords and bullets flying forcing them back and sending the marines retreating but more reinforcements came to back them up.

"Man, you two have some weird powers." Luffy said getting up and returning to the other Captains. "And I'm betting the girl has something weird as well."

"That rubber shit that you do is way weirder than what I do." Kid said with a grin. "Though the dismembered head that's still alive is weirder than that."'

"Will you lot stop this macho pissing contest, you're as bad as Yang is when she gets riled up." Ruby said ignoring Luffy's comment about her as the marines lined up again and activated her scythe, Crescent Rose, so that it morphed from the rectangle it was in transport mode into the 5 foot tall weapon which didn't really help her comment as the other three looked at her. "Good, now I said I'd deal with them so I will."

"Woah so cool!" Luffy said stars in his eyes as he stared at the wicked looking black and red scythe complete with several attachments and a spike at the end. "What is that?"

"Damn so that's where the term reaper comes from." Law noted as he looked at the scythe. "I was wondering about that."

"Show off." Kid grumbled. "If you were a guy I'd say you're overcompensation for something."

"This is my sweetheart, Crescent Rose, it's a scythe." Ruby said with a loving tone in her voice as she caressed it not hearing Kid's comment before she positioned it behind her and leaned forward. "Oh and she's also a gun."

At that she fired a powerful shot that caused a small crater in the building behind her where it hit as the recoil sent Ruby flying forward while Luffy got even more excited by the cool weapon that the girl had. With quick ease that showed her skills, Ruby swung the scythe around, while also showing some considerable core strength just to wield it, as she reached the first rank of marines and slammed it into them sending them flying as she landed on the ground sliding over it while spinning and swinging to take more out as she passed them.

Finally she came to a stop and spun the weapon in her hands as she launched an incredibly aggressive attack on the Marines, cutting them down with the blade in the crook of her scythe or knocking them back with the top and shaft of it as she wielded it with a practiced ease. It was impressive and Luffy had stars in his eyes as he watched but then a Marine got behind her and they all saw it as he raised his sword and brought it down on a slash.

"Look…" Law began the stars vanishing from his eyes but before he could finish the blade cut Ruby along her back from her right shoulder to her left hip bisecting her.

Well, it would have had it not passed through her with surprising ease leaving a clean cut through her body that the male Captains could look through while no blood spattered from the wound. The only thing that came out of it was flurry of red rose petals.

"Was that supposed to kill me?" Ruby asked calmly as she turned her upper body and cut down the shocked marine with her scythe as her lower half turning with her and rose petals filled the gap in her body so that she returned to normal.

"Holy shit!" Kid said his eyes wide. "No way! She's eaten that kind of Devil Fruit! How'd she even find one!"

"Yeah, she's a Logia type." Law said just as surprised, Logia types were rare, one of the rarest out there, and as far as he knew only one of the big name rookies had eaten one but clearly that information was wrong. "Her wanted poster didn't mention that."

"Damn that's even cooler." Luffy said his suspicion that she'd eaten a weird fruit confirmed though he'd not expected it to be a Logia type. "What fruit did she eat?"

"Huh, oh I ate the Petal-Petal Fruit and became a Petal Girl." Ruby said with a smile as she was slashed through the head to no effect having heard the boys' chatter and deciding to respond to it. "Yeah, it's a Logia type. Cool, right? You're guessed it, I'm like you lot in that I got a weird power only for me it's that my body is flower petals which I can turn into, use to fly, and blast out. You know, typical Logia stuff really."

"So cool." Luffy said as he put his thumb in his mouth. "But this is cooler."

As Luffy activated Third Gear and the others got back to action with Law creating another ROOM to chop up several marines and Kid magnetizing all that he could to match Luffy's massive fist. Naturally they were all unaware of what was being discussed inside the auction house. If they were they'd learn that soon another Supernova was about to join the fray and up the ante significantly.

"Lubbock, report." Najenda said into the transponder snail as an explosion was heard out the front of the auction house while those still in it sorted themselves out for their own flight from the building, or in Yang's case complemented the balls her sister was displaying and wishing she'd gone out as well. "What's the situation out there?"

"As reported, the marines have the slave auction house surrounded and they acted as soon as the civilians began to stream out." Lubbock said the snail's eyes turning to match his as it talked in his voice. "We're far enough away that it's not an issue for us but there's a whole platoon at least, probably more and they're armed with artillery. It looks like all the marines on the archipelago are here. What the hell is going on in there? I thought this was supposed to be a simple mission to kill anyone who bought a slave, well the ones that weren't Celestial Dragons, but suddenly the Navy arrived and surrounded the place as if they were ready for it the moment that the patrons rushed out."

"That's still happening, we got a good look at those who bid for slaves, Akame will track them down later if we have time though we may have to set sail soon." Najenda said calmly. "As for the Navy, well seeing as Dark King Silvers Rayleigh was here they likely had the place surrounded beforehand to try and apprehend him, only explanation for such a quick response to a Celestial Dragon getting punched out."

"Come again?" Lubbock asked the shock clear in his voice. "A Celestial Dragon was punched?"

"Yeah, turns out that some soon to be dead person found a mermaid under 30 and captured her, we'll get details later if we can so that we can take care of the slave hunters, but didn't realize she was a friend of Straw Hat Luffy." Najenda said. "His crew showed up but before Straw Hat arrived Saint Charlos paid half a billion berries for her. No one else made a bid but then Straw Hat arrived and he didn't like that."

"No shit." Lubbock said as another explosion. "I'm watching him, Trafalgar Law, Eustass Kid, and Rose Ruby argue and fight the marines here and they're doing a damned good job at. All have Devil Fruit powers and are skilled with them."

"Note what they can do." Najenda said. "The situation here is under control, the thugs here were handled by the Straw Hats and Rayleigh, the slaves have been freed, and it's time to go. I'll send out some cleanup now so that everyone has a clear path out of here while driving some fear into those who'd protect a place like this. Anything important about those 4 to know?"

"Just that the Red Reaper's a Logia type." Lubbock said. "Didn't realize that but it's some kind of floral power as she can turn into flower petals. Pretty odd but useful at the same time."

"Good to know." Najenda said. "Stay there until we clear it for these fine pirates to make a run for it and then fall back and find the Admirals that they've sent. We need to know who they are so we can decide if we want to engage them. If it's Akainu or Esdeath we need to leave as we're not ready for them, or Esdeath's obsession, in this chaos. If it's Kizaru or Ironwood then they're fair game. Aokiji likely won't bother, he's too lazy. There will be two so if they split up and it's one of each then we go for the one who's on the manageable list at our current skill level."

"Understood." Lubbock said and there was a click as the snail fell asleep or whatever it did when not in use and Najenda looked at the others as she put it away.

"Time to clear a path for ourselves and our fellow pirates." Najenda said looking at them. "Standard engagement protocol as there's no way that the marines don't know what's going on here so their complicit in the crimes of this place."

"Understood, I'll go." Akame said getting up. "I can make quick work."

"No, we're about to enter the New World, well after our little bit of assistance that will delay us, and we're part of this new generation as Rayleigh pointed out so let's make a statement." Najenda said shaking her head. "Plus we need to do this quickly and put fear into these grunts who don't question what they're doing. Tatsumi, handle them and use your full power. Akame wait on the news of the Admiral before acting, you're the one who needs to take point there."

"Yes boss." Akame said looking to Tatsumi. "Come back alive Tatsumi."

"I promise." Tatsumi said with a smile at her as he rose and took off his sword to hand to Akame as he'd need to be unencumber for this before he headed to the entrance their personal exchange the same as always though there was a deeper meaning to it that neither were ready to acknowledge. "Time to put on a show."

"Aww you two are so cute." Leone said her hands over her mouth but Akame just ignored her as she took the sword, she was the only one he trusted with it, and watched him leave the auction hall.

As he walked Tatsumi didn't notice that the remaining members of the other crews were looking at him noticing that he was leaving and not his Captain, nor did he notice that the slaves that had been freed were going to be looked after by the giant that Rayleigh had freed before them, and who promised to repay the Straw Hats should he meet them again. Tatsumi didn't notice because was focused on his task. This was going to make it clear which crew you didn't want to mess with though it was a bit bolder than they usually were.

"I said I'd do it; you lot can back off!"

"Not a chance asshole."

"Yeah I'm dealing with them!"

"Will you boys stop distracting me while I'm reaping!"

"You're a Logia type, you can be distracted!"

"Yeah you're fine."

"Just because I don't take damage like you lot doesn't meant that I like getting blown apart! It's annoying to reform you know!"

"All of you I said I got this!"

Tatsumi was a little surprised by the argument he heard as he made his way out of the auction house and saw the chaos outside. The marines had formed a large, densely packed, V formation in front of them and were attacking but to no avail as the 4 Captains easily held them off.

Several were in pieces but alive and not bleeding with Law still holding the head of one of them showing that he was responsible for whatever that was. Kid has his arms covered in guns and swords forming two longer arms of metal that he seemed to be controlling and using to hit the marines with. Straw Hat wasn't doing anything likely having just acted, which he had as he'd shrunk with Third Gear and only just got back to his normal height, but his power was well documented.

Lastly Ruby was in the midst of the marines swinging a massive red and black scythe that was cutting them down as they tried to slice her but all swords that made contact passed through leaving red rose petals in their wake, which had the odd sight of her wielding her scythe for a moment with her arms cut off. She was the only one fighting up close and thus Tatsumi had to announce his presence because she wasn't the right kind of Logia type to resist what was about to happen.

"Hey, Logia girl, I'd fall back if I were you." Tatsumi said as he walked towards the three men which had the added benefit of getting their attention as well. "You're power won't handle what's about to come and I can't act if you're in the way. I don't kill those who fight the good fight against those who are tools of oppression."

"It won't? But…" Ruby asked confused as she turned just in time for a mortar ball to slam into her head and explode causing her head and upper body to burst apart in plume of rose petals though her legs remained standing as her scythe fell to the ground.

"Who's this asshole?" Kid asked turning to see the man in a white coat with his hood up over his head and walking to them.

"No clue." Law admitted unable to see the newcomer's face though he'd noticed the coat earlier when he'd surveyed the auction hall and it had been with the group around Captain Najenda. "But if I had to guess he's with the Night Pirates seeing as he was sitting with them earlier."

"What are you doing here?" Luffy complained. "I was fine on my own. I don't need another person getting in my way."

"I don't doubt that Straw Hat but time is of the essence and you lot are too slow in dealing with large numbers." Tatsumi said as he walked between Kid and Luffy as Ruby's body reformed. "As strong as you lot are you don't have the crowd elimination skills that I have. I know that you could have won without an issue but with Admirals inbound we need to speed this shit up."

"I still don't get why I need to come back." Ruby said as she bent down and picked up her scythe. "I'm fine here, they can't hurt me."

"A word of advice, Reaper, Logia types who rely too much on their power and forget that they're not invincible because of their Devil Fruit tend to die young." Tatsumi said as he walked past the male Captains present. "You're strong and hard to hit but hard doesn't mean impossible. Armament Haki bypasses the intangibility of a Logia type while there are certain substances can affect a Logia user to make them strikable. I bet rubber man here would be immune to the Rumble-Rumble Fruit for example and could punch the user."

"Rumble-Rumble Fruit?" Luffy asked.

"Lightning." Tatsumi said.

"Oh that yeah I already beat his ass." Luffy said recalling that weird dude he'd beaten in Skypiea.

"Point proven." Tatsumi said not bothering to ask who was the fruit's user as he came to a stop in front of the male Captains and in the middle of the clearing. "As a floral Logia type, you're going to be weak to fire and it's about to get really hot here."

"Oh, er, ok." Ruby said not really understanding but as she was keenly aware of her weakness to fire she decided that it was better to avoid an issue and turned her body to rose petals to fly back and reform next to Luffy her scythe still in her hands. "I still don't get it but ok."

"What are you playing at, I had this." Kid snapped as a mortar ball was blasted at Tatsumi now that he'd made himself a target. "Back off."

"I don't doubt it but my Captain doesn't want to wait so I'm here to get rid of these marines the way only I can do." Tatsumi said as he raised his left arm and smacked the mortar ball way with a closed fist as it reached him as if it was nothing more than a fly. "Unlike you lot my power is much more capable at eradicating these dogs of corruption and oppression. Well, more like meat shields sent to die for the World Nobles but the fact that they are here defending a place that sells sentients into slavery makes them complicit in their crimes."

"What the hell did he just do!" Kid said as the mortar ball flew to the side and exploded when it hit the ground right in front of several marines who were scattered by it. "What power was that?"

"The rarest kind, a broad power that enhances the body even when untransformed with the effects, depending on the fruit that is." Tatsumi said as his body rippled and he grinned at the marines the more savage nature of his power rising in him that was part of the cost of using it. "Pay close attention you're about to see why they rightly call me a monster."

As Tatsumi finished speaking he let out a deep, primal, roar that sent shivers down the four Captains' spines. That was just the start however as Tatsumi's body swelled and grew, his cloths ripping as he activated his full beast transformation.

The others could only stare in shock as Tatsumi's size and bulk shot up and out while large draconic wings burst from his back the moment it was broad enough. As they did his skin turned dark gray and had a plate like appearance over his arms and legs while the exposed skin turned a dark pink that rippled with muscles as his hands and feet turned into savage looking claws.

At the same time his neck elongated a bit as a plate thing shot back from his skull and even from where they were standing the four Captains could see the sharp fangs that formed in Tatsumi's mouth. To cap it all off a tail shot out behind him and slammed into the ground with enough force to shake it and causing the Captains to leap back from it.

What they couldn't see was the front but the marines there could and they were cowering as they stared in horror at the sight before them. The plate style was on Tatsumi's chest along with a long plate over his groin though his ripped pants were on under it and over his thighs, but the big things were the eyes. His eyes had gone from green to red with + pupils while the same thing appeared over his nipples and another cross was in the center of his chest.

It was a terrifying sight and Tatsumi bellowed again only deeper, his arms out to the sides and claws up as he finished his transformation. Now we was more than twice as tall as the auction house and wider than the stairs as he stood there before the marines.

"What the fuck is that!" Kid exclaimed his eyes wide. "What kind of Zoan type does that?"

"I have no idea." Law said just as shocked. "But it's got to be a Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit because that's not a normal animal, nor is it something like a dinosaur. That means that the only type it can be is a Mythical Zoan."

"That's what those things do?" Ruby asked her eyes wide in horror at the sight before her. "No wonder they're the top of the Zoan pile."

"It's a dragon." Luffy said his mouth open in a grin and stars in his eyes. "So cool."

"Kill him, that change, it can only be one person!" The commanding officer ordered and instantly mortar balls and bullets were flying at the monster but doing nothing to it as they blew up ineffectively on the plate armor that covered Tatsumi's body. "Don't let up! He's a Night Pirate, the Adaptive Monster Tatsumi! His bounty is 237 million berries. He'll kill us all!"

"Got that right, my Devil Fruit is the rarest of the lot, a Mythical Zoan type." Tatsumi said his voice low, guttural, and terrifying in his full transformed form, well one of them at least as his full form could change and adapt to any environment or threat and those adaptions could be used to some extent in his hybrid or normal human forms which was why his Devil Fruit was so feared. "Now get out of our way. those who do the bidding for the Celestial Dragons are no better than them and will share their fate."

At that Tatsumi opening his mouth and turned to the far side of the formation giving the Captains a view of his eyes now before a blast of intense, circular, fire that was so hot they could all feel it despite being behind Tatsumi shot from his mouth and slammed into the soldiers there. There was a brief scream and the scent of roasted flesh for a moment before it vanished as black ash filled the air.

Tatsumi ignored that as he turned his head and strafed the fire along the formation torching marines and equipment alike as he moved, shifting his body as well so that he got as many as possible as he burned through the marines while munitions exploded. Anything in the path of the fire was incinerated to ash that filled the air with a black pall and a pungent smell as Tatsumi kept it up until he reached the end and finished his attack by closing his mouth.

Smoke billowed into the air from it as a deep groove was burned into the ground, the edges still were burning, with scotch marks from exploded munitions while ash filled the air. Those hit were reduced to it nothing, same for the equipment, showing just how intense the flames had been. Some had managed to flee, several of whom weren't coming back, and those not in the line of fire had been broken by it but the path ahead was clear.

"There we go." Tatsumi said as his transformation began to fall and return to normal before them. "Using that attack tends to drain me a bit so best to rest from that for a moment before changing again, I've got to work on that, but worth it for a quick clearing of an enemy formation."

"What did you do?" Ruby asked her voice shaking as she started at Tatsumi who had returned to normal though he was only clad in a pair of ripped pants as he turned to the Captains behind him. "That was…"

"Necessary." Tatsumi said simply. "They were here to kill us on behest of the true monsters who run this world, or at least capture us for execution later and that's if we're not sent to be tortured at Impel Down, so I was simply returning the favor. True there are good marines, Vice-Admiral Garp and those under him for example, but those here aren't that. After all, they're defending slavery by attacking us which makes them complicit in the crimes going on here."

"Yes but you killed them without hesitation." Ruby said. "That's…"

"What some pirates do." Tatsumi said his tone neutral as he looked at the girl and noted that she had silver eyes which was something he'd not seen before. "Though we only kill those who deserve it, not innocents. Those who join the Night Pirates accept that we're murders with blood on our hands, we just murder those who deserve it."

"Hey, I'm not complaining that was one hell of a show." Kid said with a grin. "You're my kinda guy, Tatsumi was it?"

"He is right about pirates and I've heard of his crew, they don't kill innocents but rather help them out which is something." Law said. "In fact if I'm right you're bounties are as high as they are because of who you target."

"For the most part though there are two factors that slightly inflate mine and after this I think it will go up a bit as it's been a while since I reminded the Navy about the epithet I earned." Tatsumi said as he began to walk to the entrance. "But for now I suggest you grab your crews and leave the archipelago as soon as possible. Sabaody is about to become a battleground thanks to Straw Hat and they'll tear this place apart looking for him so that they can protect their precious World Nobles."

"That jerk deserved it." Luffy said stunned by what he'd seen but while he didn't kill he wouldn't stop others from doing it unless it was unnecessary, cruel, or targeting someone who was innocent. "I don't regret punching him one bit and I'd do it again in a heartbeat."

"I agree, we'd have killed him and might have done so earlier but we sensed you're desire felt you should have the fun." Tatsumi said looking at Luffy. "Keep it up and do your best to survive Straw Hat, you've got balls. Be a shame to see you killed today."

"Er thanks." Luffy said as Tatsumi passed and began to walk up the stairs to return to the auction hall. "Wait, what was that transformation?"

"Yeah what fruit did you eat?" Kid asked. "I've never even read of a creature like that."

"That, that was the power of the Beast-Beast Fruit, model: Tyrant." Tatsumi said not looking back as he ascended the stairs. "It's classified as a mythical danger beast, not a dragon, but because of that the fruit is a Mythical Zoan. Let that be a small display of the power that that kind of fruit can bring to the table. Keep that in mind in the New World, Kaido of the 8 Emperors ate a Mythical Zoan and his power is leagues above that."

With that Tatsumi walked in leaving the four Captains stunned before their crews began to come out to see the carnage, as did an invisible girl who'd fled out the back but stopped to see the show with her eyes wide as she truly understood why Tatsumi had monster in his epithet. This was just the first bit of destruction as the battle on Sabaody that started with a single punch began in earnest with the arrival of two Navy Admirals and some new toys of theirs.

I think that's a good place to leave the chapter off at as the fun in and around the auction house is over and now Admiral Kizaru is on his way to Sabaody along with several Pacifistas though I'll let y'all decide if Shalria should die from her wound or not. That means that it's time to get the hell off the archipelago but that will be easier said than done and with all the chaos that's coming it's been split into two chapters so y'all can see how all the new crews act in getting away from the shitstorm that Luffy caused. Course there is a lot of power around so they might be able to manage it and the coming fights will reveal even more of the Devil Fruits the new members of the Worst Generation, along with their crews, have so plenty to look forward to including the reveals of the remaining two members of what I'm calling the Power 5 newbies (Asta, Izuku, Natsu, Tatsumi, Ruby) Devil Fruits. On that, as y'all can see Ruby's is a Logia type as I felt it fit her better than a Paramecia type due to how her Semblance works and it adds to the Logia arsenal while Tatsumi's is a Mythical Zoan type that is based on the Danger Beast that his Imperial Arms was formed from and the appearance he just showed is that of what Tyrant looks like in the manga when Tatsumi becomes it. This is what I was referring to in my response to a guest at the start of the chapter, Akame ga Kill characters who have eaten Devil Fruits will have their fruits based off their Imperial Arms but the adaption there is a little broader as it can be either the Imperial Arms themselves, what the Imperial Arms do, or in some cases the Danger Beast that the Imperial Arms is based off that could be the inspiration for their Devil Fruit. There are a few reasons for this and as more of the Akame characters show off their Devil Fruits we'll see why I've gone with certain fruits for them. Lastly on the subject of the new Devil Fruits, I love getting descriptions of them and guesses as to what the new ones are and while I personally have 3 appearances in mind (I'll reveal the other two when the fruits and their users are revealed), all others are fair game and that includes the named fruits that don't have suggestions so the fruits for Natsu, Weiss, Toru, Mina, Momo, Ruby, Akame, and Tatsumi and any others I've missed that have already been named. Finally, we are coming up to the crews' departures from Sabaody so if anyone has ship design ideas feel free to share them in reviews and PMs as while I have some ideas any suggestions will be useful. That is all that I have to say about this long, interesting chapter though so I will leave it off here.
