Last time: It was revealed that Gatomon, a longtime servant of Myotismon, was, in fact, the 8th child's Digimon Partner and Tai's sister Kari was the 8th child. Gatomon and Wizardmon tried to retrieve Kari's crest, but Myotismon ambushed them. Wizardmon did steal the Crest of Light but was thrown into the bay and presumed dead. MetalGreymon tried to fight Myotismon, but due to his previous fight with SkullMeramon, De-Digivolved early in the fight. Myotismon took Gatomon as bait, planning to use her to lure out Kari. Chapter 4: Myotismon Makes a Big Move: Fight to Escape Capture: Lillymon Appears
Keisuke Tachikawa was riding on train. He looked at his watch. It said it was 9:02 p.m. He knew he was super late, but the train had been late to get him tonight. A male voice rang through the train via intercom. "Due to the continuing heavy fog, we'll be experiencing some delays ahead. Please bear with us.." Keisuke groaned. Just where did this fog come from, he thought.
Myotismon stood on top of the Fuji T.V. station. He was creating the fog. "Perfect, it's almost done. Soon now, this world will be mine, not in fire or ice but in fog. He started laughing.
Meanwhile, Ash was on the phone with Lillie. "So Myotismon has Gatomon," Lillie said. She was sitting in Mimi's room. Mimi was outside with Palmon, who planned to absorb nutrients from the earth to give herself some extra energy. Snowy was being gushed over by Mimi's mother. as the cutest thing ever.
"Yeah, as much as I wanted to help," Ash began.
"You didn't want to reveal yourself, Pikachu, and the others, plus your Super Saiyan form too early, Lillie finished. Ash nodded on his end. Lillie sighed. "I feel tomorrow will start the final confrontation with Myotismon."
While Ash and Lillie talked, Mimi was waiting for her dad, as he was usually home way before this. Palmon has a digested look on her face. "Yuck, this soil is polluted. Tastes like gasoline and old candy wrappers."
Mimi had a sympathetic look as she brought out a bottle of water she had bought earlier. "I've got this bottled water. Try it; it's fresh and pure as a winter morning in the Swiss Alps. At least that's what it says on the bottle."
Palmon gave the bottle a look. It was better than the soil, even if the label didn't match the advertisement. Plus, they were in Japan, no, where the Swiss Alps where, so Palmon couldn't give an accurate comparison. "Ok," she smiled, "pour it on my roots."
Mimi poured the water onto Palmon's roots. Palmon thought the water was just what the doctor ordered. Mimi saw someone approaching. Wanting to keep Palmon a secret, Mimi quickly put a blanket over Palmon's head. Palmon was stunned as she struggled to get the blanket off. "Be quiet. Someone's here," Mimihissed.
Keisuke noticed his daughter and was stunned. "Hm, Mimi, is that you? Mimi, what are you doing out here?
Mimi was surprised but also glad to see her father. She continued. To get Palmon to stay quiet. "Oh, hi, dad."
Keisuke walked over. "You should be inside, young lady," he said in a slightly stern tone.
Mimi thought for a second before answering, knowing she couldn't reveal Palmon to he father. "Well, you see… I was waiting for you." Mimi laughed nervously and placed her hat on top of Palmon's covered head.
Keisuke was confused by her behavior and looked at his daughter with a raised eyebrow.
Mimi knew she needed to move her father's gaze away from the hidden Palmon. "So, Dad, why are you so late anyway," she asked, hoping this would do the trick.
Keisuke sighed, "It's this fog. It's got everything tied up in knots." He turned to what was in his daughter's arms. "Say, what's that you got under your hat there?"
Mimi inwardly groaned so much for that idea. "Oh, it's just um…oh burr, it's getting cold out here. We better hurry up and get home, or mom will be worried." Mimi breathed a sigh of relief
A few minutes later, they arrive at the Tachikawa residence. "Hi, honey Satie Tachikawa said to her husband, happy to finally see her husband home. Keisuke kissed his wife.
Lillie heard Mimi and her father enter the apartment. "Mimi's dad is home, so I have to go. Talk to you tomorrow, Ash."
Ash nodded. "See you tomorrow, Lillie." Lillie ended the call.
After being introduced to Mimi's dad, Lillie grabbed Snowy and joined Mimi and Palmon in Mimi's bedroom. They heard Keisuke complimenting his wife's newest recipe: Shrimp Fried Rice with Whip Cream and Strawberries. Lillie had to question Mimi's parents' taste quietly.
Mimi sat on her bed with her palms to her chin. Palmon removed the blanket from her head and took a deep breath of relief.
"Sorry, I guess I could have pretended you were my doll or a stuffed animal, but I have a reputation for good taste to maintain," Mimi said, not realizing how bad it sounded. Lillie and Snowy are mentally face-palmed. What a stupid thing to say, Mimi, they both thought.
"I'm in bad taste. Is that what you're saying?" Palmon's flower falls, making it look like it has died.
Mimi quickly realized how bad what she told her partner was. "Oh, Palmon, I didn't mean it that way. A long, awkward pause followed. Mimi broke it by popping her head outside. "I'm dying my clothes pink again." Her parent nodded in understanding. Closing the door, Mimi turned to Lillie. "So, how did you and Ash get engaged?" Lillie had a sweat drop on her forehead. I'm in for a long night, she thought.
Meanwhile, across the harbor, Joe had just finished taking the test he had studied for and gotten his score. Joe was sitting on the steps, hidden from view for the other test takers, as he had Gomamon in his bag, which he didn't want people to see as they would freak out. "Aw man, I can't believe I got a 'C .'There goes med school, and my dad wanted me to call right away and tell him my grades," Joe complained out loud.
As the coast was clear, Gomamon popped his head out of Joe's bag. "A 'C'?! Forget about Myotismon. This is an absolute disaster," he joked, trying to lighten the mood, and it worked as Joe smiled.
"You're right. Clearly, this grade is the result of all the stress from the monster attacks," Joe said, not letting the lackluster grade distract him from the bigger problem.
"Well, if you can't get into medical school, I'd try politics," Gomamon said. Joe chuckled, and the 2 left the school.
At the Ishida residence, the T.V. signal had just gone out, causing Matt to get upset. He tried to get the T.V. to work by clicking the remote in different positions as Gabumon watched him. "Oh no. Give me a break. Come on. Aw man, right when it was about to get to the best part."
Meanwhile, at the T.V. Station, Hiroaki Ishida, Matt, and T.K.'s father were getting a drink from a vending machine. He pulled out his wallet and looked at a picture of him, Nancy, Matt, and T.K. when they were still a family. Just then, a worker runs by, surprising him. "Hey, what's going on, Charlie," Hiroaki asked his subordinate.
Charlie was stunned to see that his boss was up and about. "You're awake. I was coming to get you, boss. The whole system has gone down; transmitters, satellite feed, the whole sha-bang, he said in a panic.
Hiroaki couldn't believe it. "The entire system is down," he asked stunned.
Charlie nodded and continued. "If it's a systems glitch, it's like the Godzilla of all systems glitches, but we can't even check it out because communications are down. It's like the end of the world or something."
While Matt's dad and Charlie were talking On top of the T.V. Station roof, Myotismon had just finished putting up his fog barrier. "No one will escape. No one, not even the 8th child."
Myotismon began laughing maniacally.
Meanwhile, Joe was trying to return to his house, but there was a huge problem.
"Due to a systems failure, all trains will be delayed indefinitely. We apologize for the inconvenience," a male voice spoke over the intercom.
Joe tried calling home to let his parents know what was happening, but the phones weren't working. "The pay phones don't work either. What's going on? Everything's falling apart, Joe complained.
Gomamon spoke from inside the duffel bag, trying to lighten the mood. "It could be worse. We could be stuck on the train."
Back at the T.V. Station, Hiroaki Charlie and an unnamed female employee were chatting about the current situation. A male worker named Jeremiah was listening to a Mind over Matter cassette tape. "Everything started going wonky ever since that fog came in," Charlie pointed out.
"Even my cell phone isn't working. Of course, it wasn't working before, but still," the female coworker complained.
The female coworker saw Hiroaki put on his coat. "Hey, where are you going?"
Hiroaki smirked. "To earn my pay. To investigate this thing. That's what I do, after all."
The female coworker and Charlie stood up. We'll come with you, the female coworker said. Jeremiah shut off his tape and followed his coworkers.
Meanwhile, the Kamiya siblings were in bed at the Kamiya residence while Ash was in a sleeping bag. Pikachu offered to sleep with Kari to help her sleep. Suddenly, Kari got up and looked out the window. Kari turned to her brother. "Hey, Tai, do you think Gatomon's okay," she asked in a worried tone.
Tai took a deep breath, knowing he had to answer carefully. "Sure she is, Kari. First thing tomorrow, we'll go find her."
Agumon spoke up. "Don't worry about her right now. We need to go to bed. We need our rest to fight Myotismon."
Falcomon nodded his head. "Agumon's right. We need to be at full strength to rescue Gatomon."
Kari sighed. "Okay." Kari crawled back into the top bunk. Pikachu snuggled on her chest to help calm her down.
Tai needed to be convinced Kari was ok. "You scared?"
Kari dived under the covers. "Not really." Ash rolled his eyes.
Tai knew she was trying to sound braver than she was, but let it slide. "Atta girl. Leave everything to me."
Tai looked at his Digivice with the clock reading 10:45 P.M. Soon, the 6 of them were asleep.
At the Ishida residence, Matt had just taken a shower and was getting ready to go to bed. He looked at his Digivice and saw how late it was. "Looks like dad's working late again. Something weird's going on." He tried to get the T.V. working, but it was pointless, so he and Gabumon headed to bed.
Meanwhile, Hiroaki and the workers were looking at a map inside a van.
"The fog's disrupting our entire area."
Hiroaki said as he drew a red circle around a specific part of the city.
Charlie needed clarification. "Why isn't any other part of town seeing fog?"
"It's like some alien powers controlling the fog bank with magic or something," the female coworker said, spooking Jeremiah.
Suddenly, a loud stomping noise was heard outside, causing Hiroaki to turn off the light in the van. "Keep quiet he ordered."
Outside, a giant black dinosaur with red markings and green plates on its back walks by is was DarkTyrannomon.
"What was that," Jeremiah nearly screamed. Charlie covers the Jeremiah's mouth.
"Shh, keep it down, Charlie ordered.
"You both saw it," the female coworker asked. Jeremiah and Charlie nodded.
"Good, at least I know I'm not the only one going crazy," the female coworker said, breathing a sigh of relief.
They all got out of the van.
Hiroaki that had an epiphany. "What's the connection? Somehow, this fog is tied in with these monsters we keep seeing."
Suddenly, the four heard growing and turned to see a bunch of strange orange-looking fish-like creatures with black spikes on their backs and feet approaching them. The female coworker screamed in terror.
"Let the humans scream, and it doesn't bother us, Gizamon. We travel in packs creating terror, whether on land or underwater," the head creature of the pack declared
The Gizamon charged Hiroaki and the workers. "Everyone get in the car, Hiroaki shouted. The others try to get in the car, but, unfortunately, Hiroaki is the only one who gets away while Charlie, Jeremiah, and the female coworker are captured.
The Following Morning
It was very early at the Takaishi household. T.K. and Nancy were watching the morning news report. T.K. and Patamon were sitting close to the T.V., and Nancy was sitting on the couch.
"An impenetrable fog has sealed off the main district of the city. Incoming reports also verify that all communication systems have appeared to have been rendered useless," the news reporter said gravely.
T.K. knew he had to get there as soon as possible. This is Myotismon's doing. It has to be. I need to get there so Angemon can join the fight. He stood up, T.K. thought. "I'm coming, Matt, he declared loudly, shocking his mother.
"T.K.," Nancy scolded.
T.K. shook his head. "I have to go, mom. You don't understand whatever happens, they'll need me there." Nancy shook her head.
T.K. turned to his mom. "But Mom, Matt's there, and so is Dad. We can't just leave them there."
Images of her eldest son and her divorced husband flashed in Nancy's mind. She knew they had to go help out. Nancy smiled. "Alright, then we'll go together." T.K. cheered. "Grab your coat, T.K." He did so. He also held on to Patamon. Nancy had to wonder why T.K. was so attached to that new toy.
At the Ishida residence, Matt and Gabumon were still asleep when suddenly Hiroaki came in with his clothes ripped up a little. Hiroaki started nudging Matt with his foot.
"Wake up, son. Get up and get dressed."
Matt opened his eyes. "What is it?" He blinked as he took in his dad's appearance. He also noticed his father was eating very fast. "Dad, what happened to you?" Was he attacked by one of Myotismon's goons, Matt thought?
Hiroaki continued eating. "I'll tell you later. Just get up and get dressed, okay," he said while rushing to finish his food. Matt did so and followed his dad.
Meanwhile, at Shimbashi Station, Joe was walking, carrying Gomamon in the duffel bag. Gomamon blinked and was surprised they were leaving the train station. "Joe, where are we going?"
"Down to the pier. We could get in by boat, Joe responded. These difficulties had to happen when the test was due to occur, he thought to himself.
Meanwhile, at the subway station, Susumu Kamiya was waiting for the train to come. It was extremely late, and he had to spend the night there instead of with his wife and kids.
"An announcement will be made when service has been restored. We apologize for any inconvenience," a male voice on the intercom spoke out.
Susumu sighed deeply. Tai, Kari, and Yuuko are probably worried sick about me being out all night. Susumu then heard a ghostly wail. He turns to see a group of Bakumon and a phantom-looking Digimon carrying a scythe chasing people. Susumu was shocked. "What in the world is that thing, he shouted.
The Digimon gave off an evil chuckle. "I'm Phantom. You don't want to be near me or my frightening little friends when I start swinging my Shadow Scythe!" Phantom sliced a metal board hanging from the ceiling. "Myotismon requests your presence, and he won't take no for an answer." Soon, everyone in the station was captured.
At the Takenouchi residence, Sora's chicken alarm clock had just gone off, causing Biyomon to wake up and turn it off. "Are you going to soccer practice today, Sora? What about Myotismon, his goons, and the Rocket agent? Biyomon questioned her partner.
Sora finished putting on her hat and shoes. "Tai will be there, and I need to talk to him about our plan of attack. Besides, I could use the practice."
That you want some time alone with Tai without the others there, Biyomon thought. She could see that Sora had feelings for the Child of Courage.
Sora grabbed her blue duffel bag and soccer ball. "Mom, I'm going to soccer. Mom," Sora called, but Toshiko doesn't answer. Sora sighed. Her mother still hated that Sora loved playing soccer. "Well, I'll see you in a little bit."
Toshiko continued to wash the dishes.
At the Kamiya residence
"Oh, great. The phone's still out," Tai groaned. How am I supposed to communicate with the team, he thought. Kari stood beside him while Ash was on the couch with Pikachu riding his shoulder as usual.
Outside, a creepy man in a green suit and wearing a mask walked towards the Kamyia's door.
Yuuko sighed sadly. "Oh, your poor father. He's still not home yet," as she grabbed a videotape.
Tai groaned, seeing what tape she had chosen. "We're not watching that video again," he complained. He was sick of watching that videotape.
Yuuko was wiping down a table. "The T.V.'s still out, sweetie," she responded.
The creepy man outside rang the doorbell. Yuuko was stunned that they had someone coming by so early. "I wonder who'd be dropping by unannounced, she said as she went to answer the door. Yuuko smiled. "Hello," she said as she answered and opened the door before she screamed. The man, only wearing a green jumpsuit, was there and pushed Yuuko down as he transformed into a Bakemon, more appearing behind him as they just barged into their apartment.
Agumon and Falcomon exited the kid's room and started attacking the ghost Digimon, making them burst into data particles. Kari & Tai thanked the two Digimon, but there was more to come.
Yuuko screamed her children's names as the Bakemon continued to appear, grabbing Yuuko and dragging her out of the apartment. Pikachu sparked his checks while Ash grabbed Gengar's Pokeball. Ash turned to Tai v. "I have a hunch Myotismon is doing this to find Kari. You need to get your mom and get out of here. I am going to find Lillie as I think she's been captured. Don't worry. I had a dream last night that Arceus was retrieving two of my oldest Pokemon to help us out," Ash said as Tai nodded in understanding. He didn't like it, but he understood that Ash wanted to ensure Lillie was safe after everything that happened to her recently.
Meanwhile, Lillie, who was holding on to Snowy, was running with Mimi, Palmon, who was again under a blanket, and Mimi's parents were having the same experience as they ran out of their apartment.
Keisuke had taken charge of the situation. "Run! This way! Hurry!"
Keisuke led his wife, daughter, her new friend, and her pet fox to the elevator and shut the doors before the Bakemon could get them. Keisuke hugged his family. "Alright, we're all safe now."
Satoe was scared as she asked. "But...but honey, what are they?"
Mimi was still wearing her pajamas and said, "It's a long story, Mom."
The Bakemon opened the door just then, scaring Lillie, Mimi, and her parents. At the Takenouchi residence, Bakemon tried to take Toshiko until Biyomon jumped into action.
"Spiral Twister," Biyomon shouted Biyomo, unleashing her green fire attack, sending the Bakemon flying out of the apartment.
Toshiko was shaking and pointed a shaking finger at Biyomon. "You just talked! I saw you! I thought you were a stuffed animal," she stammered.
Biyomon turned her head. "Well, life's full of surprises. Where's the soccer field," she asked, surprising Toshiko.
"It's down at the school. Why do you ask?" she asked, wondering why this bird needed that information.
Biyomon took a deep breath. "All you need to know is Sora's in trouble. I've got to find her."
Toshiko is shocked. She immediately followed Biyomon after locking the door.
At the convention center, Myotismon and DemiDevimon flew over a crowd of people the Bakemon had captured.
Myotismon came up with the perfect plan to continue this spree of terror. "We'll start by separating the children from their parents. Aw, how they'll scream and weep, delicious." Myotismon and DemiDevimon came to a stop and just floated in the air.
Gatomon was tied in chains as they lifted her up. "I guess you're not as powerful here in the real world as you thought you'd be," she said in a smug tone as she tried to taunt her ex-employer.
Myotismon scoffed. "Power isn't anything I concern myself with if I were you. Especially seen you don't have any, you little traitor."
Meanwhile, in a not-yet-finished building across from the T.V. Station, Matt, Gabumon, and Hiroaki were hiding so they wouldn't be found.
Matt wanted answers. "Now, will you tell me what happened?" he asked confusedly.
Hiroaki shook his head. "I hardly know myself, but I want you to stay here, out of sight."
Matt was even more confused. "Where are you going?"
Hiroaki looked at the T.V. station. "The station, to try and find some way to communicate with the outside world, smoke signals, anything. You'll be safe here. Stay with Gabumon." This shocked his son and his partner.
"How do you know about me," Gabumon asked the man.
Matt couldn't believe his father had figured things out about him and Gabumon. He had to know. "But dad, how-"
Hiroaki walked down the steps. "Never mind how, just be safe."
Gabumon was stunned. "You know I think he likes me."
Meanwhile, outside the Kamiya apartment building, families were being guided through the street by the Bakemon.
"Agumon digivolve too...Greymon!"
"Falcomon digivolve to... Peckmon"
Kari and Tai got up on Greymon, while Ash and Pikachu jumped on Peckmon. Many adults are at the front of the building; we're screaming.
Yuuko was scared of both of the Digimon. "Oh no, more monsters!"
Tai had to laugh. "Don't worry mom. These guys are on our side. Get my mom, Greymon. Hurry." Greymon tried to get Yuuko, but unfortunately, the Bakemon of this raiding party had help.
"Shadow Scythe!" Phantom came in and used his scythe, hitting Greymon in the back, causing Greymon to cry out in pain. Phantom chuckled evilly. "Well, Greymon, it looks like your time is up. Get the rest of the crowd." The Bakemon forced the crowd to move towards the convention center. Yuuko tried to get to her kids, but the crowd prevented her from getting close.
"Nova Blast!" Greymon fired his attack, but Phantomon faded away.
Greymon knew getting Kari to safety was of the utmost importance. He nodded to Peckmon. Peckmon and his passengers vanished, deciding to follow the crowd from the shadows. "Sorry, Tai. I'm losing energy. We'll get your mom later. Right now, we've got to get out of here."
Tai hated to admit it, but Greymon was right. Kari held on to her brother.
Mom, we'll be back," Tai called out.
Yuuko tried to push through the crowd. "Kari! Tai!" Their mother screamed desperately, trying to reach her kids, but it was impossible. The crowd was too strong.
Toshiko and Biyomon arrived at the soccer field to find it empty, with scattered soccer balls everywhere. They were too late; Sora had been captured.
Toshiko grabbed her daughter's hat. "We'll follow them and find out where they've taken her." Toshiko and Biyomon both put on a Bakemon disguise.
Biyomon was nervous. "But will it work," she asked nervously.
Toshiko was holding Sora's hat. "We'll see."
At the convention center, Bakemon were guarding both the entrance and exit, which allowed them to prevent anyone from escaping. Inside, Sora was sitting on a bench with a depressed look.
Mimi walked over and put her hands on Sora's shoulder. "Sora, it's you."
Sora was even more upset now. "Oh no, Mimi, they got you too. Lillie followed behind Mimi. Snowy was still in her arms.
Palmon lifted the blanket. "Psst, I can Digivolve anytime. Just say the word," she whispered.
"I can let loose a blizzard attack at any time. Mommy, say the word, "Snowy whispered to Lillie. She smiled and patted her starter's head.
Sora shook her head. "There's too many people and too many of them. Let's see how this plays out, and you'll both be our trump cards for later. Palmon and Snowy nodded their heads in understanding.
Sora then heard Tai's parents arguing. Yuuko was worried that the T-Rex Tai and Kari were riding would hurt them. Sora rushed over and assured her crush's mom that Greymon was on their side.
Biyomon and Toshiko had arrived outside the convention center and were getting ready to find Sora.
Biyomon smirked. "Well, if you can't beat them, join them.
"Now let's go inside and find Sora," Toshiko said to Biyomon while trusting Sora's partner, Digimon. Biyomon nodded, but Toshiko grabbed her wing. "Wait, this may be a strange question, but did Sora ever say...did she tell you...does Sora hate me?"
Biyomon was stunned. "What? Oh boy, do you have it wrong?"
[Flashback]
Sora was smiling as she spoke to Yokomon and the others. "Know what I realized? My mom loved me all along."
Yokomon was ecstatic that Sora was happy again. "And it was your love that helped me Digivolve, Sora." Sora smiled at her partner.
[End Flashback]
Toshiko smiled that Sora had finally understood her concern for Sora's safety.
"Now, if only she could admit to Tai that she loves him," Biyomon said with a chuckle.
Toshiko giggled. "It's going to take a miracle to get her to do that."
Sora sat with Matt's father's coworkers, the Kamiya's, Lillie and Snowy, and Mimi's family. Mimi's mother goes off that she doesn't want to be in this situation any longer. Keisuke and Charlie try to calm her down to no avail. After ranting for 2 minutes, she said she needed to get that on her chest. Lillie groaned. "Now I know where Mimi got her ditziness from," she muttered to Snowy, who nodded.
Sora knew they had to escape fast. "Enough of this. We need a plan."
Woman: Yeah, Jeremiah, why don't you help us instead of listening to those mind-over-matter tapes all the time?
Sora's widened as she remembered her previous encounter with Bakemon.
"That's it, Sora exclaimed. "We need some of you to attack the Bakemon, creating a diversion while the rest of us devise a mind-over-matter chant."
Yuuko was about to question this, but
Susumu held up his hand. "Just do what she says, alright? Half of you come with me. Let's get them!" The men led by Susumu (excluding Keisuke) attacked the Bakemon.
Women and children follow me! Hiroaki's female coworker shouted
They all ran outside but were cut off by another group of Bakemon
Sora lifted up the boom box. "Pump up the volume," she cried.
Everyone was chanting Bakemon, lose your power! Bakemon, lose your power! Bakemon, lose your power! Bakemon, lose your power! The Bakemon fell to the ground, weakened.
Everyone ran out of the convention center. "We made it! We're safe at last, Satie cheered. DarkTyrannomon appears, blocking the group's path.
"Oops, spoke too soon."
Palmon spoke up. "It's DarkTyrannomon. He was a nice guy once until an evil computer virus took him over, and his personality turned 180."
Keisuke hugged his wife, decided to do something, and ran off.
Satoe was confused. "Where are you going," she shouted. Satoe watched as her husband drove a golf cart at DarkTyrannomon.
"You couldn't be in safer hands," Keisuke shouted. DarkTyrannomon swatted him away.
Mimi was horrified. "Dad!"
"Palmon digivolve to…Togemon!"
Togemon punched DarkTyrannomon in the face. "Back to the stone age with you," Togemon shouted. Mimi and her mom ran to check on her dad.
Satoe hugged her husband. "Honeybunch, are you okay?"
Keisuke sighed. "I guess I made a fool of myself, huh?"

Satoe and Keisuke made love talk with each other. Mimi had a sweat drop on her forehead. "Um, mom, dad. I hate to ruin this love fest, but maybe we should run for cover or something," she said while watching Togemon fight DarkTyrannomon, who threw Togemon to the ground and breathed fire on her. "No! Togemon!" Mimi ran to her fallen Digimon. "It's no use. Save yourself," Mimi screamed.
Togemon got back up slowly. "I've got it under control. No problem"
Oh, this is the end, Mimi thought. The Bakemon chase the people back inside the convention center.
Sora was running to get away from Phantomon.
Myotismon will rule the world, Mimi cried to herself. Susumu and the others were still fighting the Bakemon, but there were so many, and some attacked her parents. Lillie was ordering Snowy to attack the Bakemon.
Ash, Peckmon, and Pikachu had arrived on the battlefield. Peckmon was ready to jump in, but Ash held him back. "Peckmon, I have a hunch Mimi's crest is about to activate." Peckmon nodded, and they stayed back.
Mimi was horrified at how things were proceeding at the moment. This is terrible. Now my family's going to suffer, not to mention all of my friends will suffer, too. There's got to be something I can do, Mimi thought.
She let a tear fall. Just then, Mimi was surrounded by a green aura, which caused Mimi's Digivice to turn green, and the Crest of Sincerity symbol shot out of her tag.
Ash, Peckmon, and Pikachu took notice of this. Ash smirked, "So what will Togemon Digivolve into," Ash muttered to Pikachu, who watched with bated breath.
"Togemon digivolve to..." Togemon's whole body shined with light and turned into a huge rose, revealing a fairy-like Digimon with four-leaf wings, a pink dress made out of a flower, and two green boots with sunflowers on each side. "Lillymon!"
DarkTyrannomon backed off, cautious of the new opponent that was in front of it. Mimi was stunned. "Is that really my partner?"
Lillie giggled, causing Snowy to look at her. "If Mallow were here, she'd be begging Mimi to tell her where to get her own Lillymon." Snowy had to admit her Mother/Trainer was right.
Peckmon looked to his partner in awe. He thought that the amazing Ash's aura allowed him to sense when Mimi's crest would glow.
Lillymon places her hands together, causing an orange-yellow flower to form, then opens up to reveal a cannon head inside it. "Flower Cannon," she cried. The cannon fired a blast of green energy at DarkTyrannomon, who roared as the blast pushed him back.
Mimi was stunned. "Wow! Just who are you," she asked the new Digimon.
Lillymon smirked. "It's just little old me. Or should I say "...little old us? I'm Palmon and Togemon, too. This is just my Ultimate Digivolved form. You can call me Lillymon. Am I in bad taste?"
Mimi smiled and shook her head. "No way. I'm sorry I ever said that."
Lillymon winked at her human partner. "No biggie."
DarkTyrannomon tried to slash the newly evolved Digimon, but she dodged it. Lillymon chuckled. "Whoops! You have to be quicker than that."
Mimi frowned at Lillymon's carefree attitude in this fight. "Be careful."
Lillymon shook her head. Her partner was so unique with her moods. "Your wish to save your family and friends brought me into existence. Mimi, you're a very special girl, even though your wardrobe sometimes clashes."
Mimi was shocked at that comment from her Digimon. "What do you mean?" She felt a little insulted at the wardrobe comment.
Lillie and Snowy chuckled. She knows Mimi so well, they thought.
Lillymon shook her head. She and Mimi could talk when this was over. "Later, right now, I have a dinosaur to tame." Lillymon flew really fast around DarkTyrannomon's neck, causing a wreath of flowers to form around it. Lillymon smirked. "My Flower Wreath counteracted the evil computer virus. So he ought to be as gentle as a lamb from now on. Nice DarkTyrannomon, that-a-boy."
Lillymon starts rubbing his head, causing him to smile.
T.K., Patamon, and Nancy rode the train to the pier, hoping to catch a boat. Unfortunately, Joe was at the pier and had found out the boats weren't running.
Meanwhile, at the T.V. Station, Hiroaki was sneaking around, trying to find a way to communicate with the outside world. Hiroaki was thinking to himself. Maybe if I can get to that satellite dish, I can fix this situation.
Tai and Kari had managed to escape the Bakemon, but Greymon had De-Digivolved into Agumon. Tai turned to his partner, who was on Tai's shoulders. "You OK, Agumon?"
Agumon frowned. Phantomon had really hit him hard. "I've felt better."
Suddenly, they heard a voice shout out. "Tai!"
Tai stopped running by a building and turned to see the duo of Friendship hiding there. Matt waved to him. "Up here!"
Tai was surprised to see them. "Matt, is that you? Hey, we've gotta talk." They all entered the building; Kari was sitting around Agumon to check on him since he was still hurt from Phantomon's attack, while Tai pulled Matt up to the stairs to talk about what's been happening lately.
Kari rubbed the dinosaur's hand. "Do you feel any better, she asked her brother's partner.
Agumon nodded. "A lot better, thanks, Kari."
Matt was stunned when Tai told him that Kari was the 8th child. The answer was so close to them the entire time.
Back at the convention center, Phantomon caught up to Sora and destroyed the tape player. Phantomon was annoyed at how long the chase had taken. "Enough! That new-aged vocal battle won't help you where you're going, my pretty little miss. Take her away. He ordered the disguised Toshiko and Biyomon.
Suddenly, they stood protectively in front of Sora, surprising Sora.
Phantomon was stunned. "What? More traitors?"
"Biyomon digivolve to...Birdramon!"
Phantomon now understood the girl was one of the DigiDestend. "Oh, it's just a bird. A large bird, I grant you...a large angry bird!" Phantomon screamed as Birdramon attacked him and the Bakemon.
Toshiko hugged her daughter. "Sora, who was happily surprised.
Sora was crying. "Oh, Mom, I'm sorry," but Toshiko interrupted.
"There's no time now, honey. You've got to get out of here, hurry," she said, knowing she would be captured.
Sora was horrified. "But what about you, Mom?" More Bakemon showed up surrounding them.
"Get moving. I'll be fine," Toshiko said, determined to make a stand.
Sora refused to leave her mother.
Meanwhile, Mimi was ecstatic. "We won," Mimi cheered. Lillie and Snowy rushed to Lillymon to congratulate her. Unfortunately, Myotismon appeared. Ash groaned." Of course, he showed up, he thought bitterly."
Myotismon was furious. Unbelievable. The Crest of Sincerity activates just as my master plan was about to succeed." He turned to DarkTyrannomon. "I have no use for you anymore, you pathetic failure. Grizzly Wing."DarkTyrannomon roared in agony as he was destroyed.
Lillymon was disgusted. "You are such a bad sport." Lillie had to agree that the murder of DarkTyrannomon was uncalled for.
Myotismon turned to the newest Ultimate level Digimon of the Chosen Children. "You meddlesome little flower child, it's time I plucked your petals." Lillie and Snowy braced themselves for a tough fight.
Meanwhile, in the Pokemon world, Arceus stood before two of Ash's oldest Pokémon: Charizard and Squirtle. "Are you both ready? Once you go through the portal, you will return once the issues in that world are handled." They nodded in understanding. Arceus opened the portal, and Charizard flew in with Squirtle riding on his back.
