It had taken a full day for Yusaku to get his energy back, and now everyone is gearing up for there Infiltration Route mission over. The goal? Secure the path which leads to Akira Zaizen's treasure at any cost using separate teams to take over when one team is weakened. And as they gotten the key from Ghost Gal they need to do this fast as this will change Zaizen's Cognition, and make the mission much more dangerous then it is before as Zaizen will be more on guard now that the Thieves have the Data Banks Key.
"Alright, so which group is going in first?" Ryuji inquired.
"I'll head in first with my team." Akechi answered calmly. "Yusaku's group should be the last one and Akira's the most versatile fighter we have right now."
They nodded from this before Cal turned over towards them. "I'll try my best to help you over if I can. Just be careful cause from us now having Ghost Gal's Data Key, it's bound to change Zaizen's Palace."
"That's true, but with all of us working together this should be as simple as always." Akira mentioned. "Is everyone ready?"
They nodded before they all logged into Link VRAINS.
Arriving in at the sector there suppose to be, Crow looked at his Duel Disk where Axis is, and said over simply. "Akira Zaizen, Matrix, Zaizen Residence."
"Keywords confirmed. Summoning Palace."
At that the matrix rose up once more as they headed in.
(Cue Theme: Secret Base)
They quickly headed at the current Safe Room they found which was nearby the area where Blue Angel awakened over, and had done a Showtime Attack. Blue Angel held her whip of light that she used against the Shadows over before frowning. "It's kinda ironic that as a Charisma Duelist, I focus on having people paying attention to me but now I'm trying to avoid it."
"I don't think it's that unusual, charisma duelists inspire people to be better and that's what you're doing now." Queen pointed out.
"She has a point." Fox agreed with a smile. "Now then, we'll go as far as we can for you."
Blue Angel nodded over before turning to Mona. "You said we're about near the Treasure at this point? A little over halfway?"
"That's right, but be on your guard there are bound to be traps and tricks waiting for us." Mona replied.
They nodded first arriving at the room where the battle was as she placed her hand on the scanner. "ACCESS GRANTED." It opened as unlike before they checked over the room to make sure it's not a trap again before they headed in checking over staying out of sight. Running over to get some areas without facing the Shadows they went around finding areas, and points over. Soon they moved at a corner which Crow stopped at the edge moving his hand to keep them from moving.
He peeks the corner to see a Shadow Android blocking the next room, and no access points pass it or places to hide.
"Looks like we have to fight already." he frowned. "Are you three prepared?"
Queen, Noir, and Fox all nodded ready to head in. At that Crow nodded before they approached the android.
"I assume you know why we're here?" he questioned.
"Huh?" the android turned over seeing them. "...Eh, who are you all?" That surprised them blinking hearing that before it notices Blue Angel. "Lady Skye!" Blue Angel tensed up at this as he looks at her. "I'm surprised to see you at this part of the matrix. Did Master Zaizen give you permission to head here?"
"She doesn't need his permission, now stand aside." Fox mentioned calmly.
"Wait wait." Joker took his shoulder saying close. "We can use this to save our energy. He doesn't seem to be aware of what's going on now, so let's use this chance to go further without extorting our strength."
"Fine, if you think that'll work." Crow relented stepping back to let Joker negotiate.
Joker walked over. "Well is there any trouble with letting Skye enter here?"
"Well, not really she's free to look around the matrix as long as she's not in harmful range." the android admitted over. "The matrix seemed to be on alert now, I don't know why. But as long as Skye is safe, it's all that matters."
"Well can we pass?" Blue Angel asked over.
"Has he given you permission?"
"Uh... yes?" Blue Angel knew lying isn't one of her strong suits so he tried.
Surprisingly the android shrugged over. "Okay if you say so." He moved pressing a button which had the door opened. "You all may pass." They all blinked from easy that looked.
"Thank you very much." Sophie smiled.
They walked in as the door closed. After a few second Skull slumped rubbing his head. "Did that seriously just happened...?"
"I wouldn't complain... I doubt it'll be that easy moving forward." Oracle pointed out.
So they continued heading forward, and unlike before they fought the other Shadows. Once Crow's group had no energy left they headed in with Joker's group looking around. Soon Axis pinged over. "Safe room, 20 feet away." Her face made an arrow to guide them.
Nodding they headed to the Safe Room while avoiding the Shadows. They entered in before it changed into an old office before fading. That made Blue Angel frowned at the office.
"Blue?" Mona asked seeing her expression.
"It's an old office of Akira's former employer." Blue Angel answered over frowning. "Did you all read that Akira had to do hacking to earn money before all of this?"
"No, he was a hacker?" Noir inquired only to frown. "Oh... it probably wasn't a good thing was it?"
"It was sometime after our parents died. We lost everything including our house, and all we owned." Blue Angel admitted over looking around. "Akira was willing to do anything for my sake by earning money one way or another. We had met with an old accomplice of our dad, Terrance Gore." She turned back over to the Thieves. "From what I read about him in books he writes, Terrance was a part of the criminal underworld who wants to use codes, and funding to increase his wealth, and find a way to extort companies. Of course he paid Akira fairly out of respect for our dad. But one day... he stopped."
"What, but why?" Panther frowned hearing that.
"We don't know how exactly. Terrance just said that somehow someone had stolen all of the money he had made, and purged all of the data he had gotten over the years while exposing him to the police." Blue Angel explained over with a frown. "Before he left on the run, he had given us a final gift: The deed to the house we were staying in. Me, and Akira's home is that house..." She then looked around. "As this was Terrance's old office it makes sense that Akira didn't have much control over it. He didn't want a reason to abandon who had helped him get this far."
Joker frowned hearing that.
"The more, I hear about the guy, the more I'm ready to change his heart." Panther admitted over with a frown. "He won't let criminal activity from his past go. Even if the person who helped him get this far is a criminal he won't let his help go."
"Which is why today we need to find the treasure, and help him see straight like how you all done to me." Playmaker decided over towards them.
"Not quite, today we find the treasure and tomorrow we send the Calling Card... which means if everything goes perfectly we'll change his heart one day before our deadline." Crow clarified. "This is going to be cutting it very close."
"Well let's go, and get the booty!" Ai declared over more then ready. "We're wasting time right now."
"Right, be careful everyone." Oracle mentioned at that.
With that everyone went off to get the Treasure next off with Mona saying over there just about near. Reaching over they see what looks like a large blue teleporter in the middle of a large room with no guards.
"This is too easy, it's obviously a trap." Crow frowned.
"Then here, I have this handy." They looked at Blue Angel who taken out what looks like a card, and threw it at the middle of the room.
Then an orb appeared before it detonated over the entire room which made camoflague shadows out of hiding shorting out before collapsing vanishing.
"How did you do that?" Mona questioned in shock.
"Ghost Gal made that called a Palace Bomb." Blue Angel admitted over. "It's based on something she was working on called a Virus Bomb that can affect the Shadows, and keep us off there trail for a little time. But she told me to use them sparingly as there not easy to make."
Suddenly Oracles eyes widened. "What the, what kind of firewall is that?"
They all turned to see an enormous firewall had appeared in front of them.
"...When was that there?" Skull asked wondering how they didn't notice.
"If I had to guess, it's a back-up security measure in case the Shadows are defeated." Queen frowned.
"Oracle can you take it down?" Playmaker asked over towards Oracle.
"I can try, give me a... oh not good enemies heading this way!" Oracle told them.
Playmaker then turned to Blue Angel, Mona, and Sophie. "Then we hold them off until she's done since we used our power the least. Are you three ready?" They nodded off before he turned to Joker, and Crow. "Your teams keep Oracle safe until she's done."
"Got it." Joker grinned.
"I'll break them." Crow smirked as he had a crazed look in his eyes.
Playmaker's team exited into the hall as several androids popped up. "Get ready!"
(Battle Theme: Keeper of Lust)
Several of the androids transformed into the Tindangle Monsters ready to battle as Playmaker's turn prepared before he takes a card raising it up. "Come Cyberse Quantum Dragon! Tarukaja!"
The dragon appeared above him before Sophie glowed orange.
"Pandora!" she cried as her persona appeared. "Kougaon!"
Light attacked appeared as several Shadows were stuck crying out as she hit some of there weaknesses dropping down but one Shadow charged for a counter attack. Seeing that Mona fired a slingshot at the Shadow.
"Agh!" the Shadow dropped down as Blue Angel charged in striking them with her whip before pulling back calling over. "Come on Lycoris!" Trickstar Lycoris rose up readying over letting out a wink as hearts flew before some of the Shadows have hearts in there eyes over before they started attacking the others.
"Well, that's useful." Mona admitted seeing that before his eyes widened. "Blue behind you, a big one!"
Blue Angel turned just in time to see a Tindangle Hound breath flames at her in an Agidyne attack. She raised her arms only to not feel anything blinking seeing the fire is being absorbed into her. "What..."
"Fire won't hurt you, useful information to have." Crow noted calmly.
Playmaker charged in attacking with his staff landing a critical hit with it before raising his card for Link Bumper. "Change! Link Bumper! Mazio!"
Link Bumper had learned that skill while the Thieves we're fighting, and fired lightning attacks which struck the Shadows as they collapsed vanished.
"Just a little more and... huh, what the how am I supposed to know that?" Oracle frowned.
"What's wrong Oracle?" While guarding her Queen checked over to see what's going on.
"How do I know his favorite book?" she questioned.
Blue Angel stopped hearing that turning over, and ran. "Blue Angel!" She ignored Playmaker for a second asking Oracle once she's near. "What did you say the question was?"
"What Akira Zaizen's favorite book is. There's nothing about a book in this entire palace!" Oracle frowned.
Blue Angel however looked in thought before telling her. "Type in 'Blue Angel'."
Oracle blinked but typed it in. She pressed before the computer voice called. "ACCESS GRANTED." The firewall lowered down.
"Well, that takes care of that." Crow noted calmly.
"You were named after a book?" Violet asked Blue Angel.
"I'll tell you later, let's get out of here before more show up." Blue Angel told everyone.
They all nodded at that leaving the palace. Or in actuality, in the teleporter, teleporting to the part where the Treasure maybe held.
They appear in a futuristic cybernetic room while holographic screens all around the room looking surreal to them.
"Whoa, what is this place?" Skull asked looking around.
"This looks to be the Core to the Palace..." Mona admitted looking around.
"Is this where the Treasure is?" Ai looked around.
Queen soon notices something underneath where at the center of the room is a glass covering where after taking a closer look sees a formless orb below.
"Yes, that's the treasure, it won't appear until we send the calling card." Queen explained.
They walked over seeing it as Blue Angel blinked seeing it. "That's the Treasure...?"
"It's formless." Ai admitted seeing it cupping his chin.
"Desires don't have a existent form." Playmaker explained over. "From this if a Calling Card is sent, the person who reads it will be on guard, and that will form into what he views his desires as. Right now as we now have a route secure all that's left is send the Calling Card, and we will be ready to take Zaizen's Heart."
"Of course there's a catch once it's sent right?" Blue Angel guessed over.
"Yeah, we only have one day to steal it." Noir answered. "And the Palace Ruler will likely try to stop us."
"Gee no pressure." Blue Angel frowned from this. "Should we send this card now?"
"No we need to regather our strength." Mona answered over. "But now we know where it is the next time we come in to steal it. Come on team let's get out of here."
"Wait a second you guys... something's wrong." Oracle frowned.
They turned over confused while Fox asked her. "What's the matter Oracle?"
"I don't know... something is..." she started before skeletal hands grabbed all of them.
(Cue Theme: Blood of Villain)
"Wh-What is this?" Panther wrestles to spring out.
"I... I can't... move!" Sophie grunted as she tried all her might to move.
"So... these are the Phantom Thieves. No wonder Skye's been so disobedient." mentioned a voice from behind them.
Hearing that they tried there best to look over.
"What the hell is this?" Skull grunted.
"Well well, I knew you all turn up." a female voice broke out.
"That voice... Ghost Girl?" Panther groaned. "What's going on, wait... it must be a cognition right?"
Walking forward was Ghost Gal herself only black smoke is around her feet to signal she's an illusion of Zaizen's Palace as she glared over.
"We were careless, we forgot about his cognitions... and if he's close with Ghost Girl she was obviously going to be somewhere in the palace." Fox frowned while trying to get free.
"Honestly why wouldn't the guards take you all when I can?" Cognitive Ghost Gal sighed before looking over. "Ah well it doesn't matter now, cause now that I caught you all where the Core Cube is located, all that is left is to destroy you all. Although with correcting over Skye's behavior so she won't be that disobedient once more."
"Mona-chan!" Violet cried.
"Right, Morgana Transform!" Mona cried.
At that he glowed smoke as Cognitive Ghost Gal turned over towards where Mona is startled.
"Agh!" Cognitive Ghost Gal collapsed down too stunned to move over.
Playmaker coughed over from being squeezed looking over towards her before turning to the Thieves. "Time to go!"
Nodding they all ran past her unaware that Shadow Akira was watching with a frown on his face.
(Cue Theme: Beneath the Mask)
Hearing sounds of bodies collapsing Cal checked out of his food truck to find the Thieves but Yusaku, Akira, Akechi, and Sophie all collapsed on the ground as he blinked looking over to the four. "Do I want to ask what happened?"
"Long story, we need to rest and send the Calling Card tomorrow." Akira answered as Yusaku helped Skye to her feet.
"Are you going to be ok?" he asked her.
Skye slowly shake her head yes. "Yeah... I'll be alright. All that's left is to send the card, and we can manage to set him back straight right?"
"Yeah, we'll do it together." he smiled.
Skye smiled back over to him before time froze again.
"Thou will have our blessing when creating a Persona of the Lovers Arcana."
Skye Zaizen/Blue Angel: (Lovers; RANK 2)
Yusaku blinked but smiled at that.
"So now what? How do you do this Calling Card biz?" Kolter asked over curiously.
"I could get something into Link Vrains, do you want to help come up with what it says Skye?" Futaba asked her.
"I can help write it?" Skye asked surprised.
"He is your brother, it's only right you have a say in what his Calling Card says. Plus, you'll have to be the one to deliver it to him." Futaba mentioned.
"She's right, that's the best option." Makoto agreed.
Skye looked around seeing all of them looked supportive as she smiled before looking down. "Well thanks... but I don't think I can deliver it to him in person... At least in Link VRAINS, I think so. And we need to get SOL off of our tails even if we do."
"Why not deliver via Futaba Cannon?" They looked over to Sophia confused as she explained. "It can reach to SOLs instantly, and no doubt your brother can see it too. It will also shaken SOLS where they will not focus on us for a while."
"That's not a good idea, SOL Technologies is definitely aware of our presence and if we suddenly give one of their employees a calling card it could cost Zaizen his job and put Skye herself in danger." Akechi pointed out.
"Still it's our only option." They looked to Yusaku who pointed out. "I doubt Zaizen will open the Calling Card after what he, and Skye are going through since he will view this as Skye being more defiant. The Futaba Cannon is likely our only option to take."
"Well, if this does cost him his job we'll figure something out." Yusuke noted as he took out a card and handed it to Skye. "Things have worked out so far after all."
"He's right, we just need to make sure we change your brother's heart." Ryuji grinned. "See you guys tomorrow."
Skye nodded taking it as they all walked out.
The Thieves all arrived back in there apartment complex only Akira, and Akechi joined Yusaku to his room to talk things out entering a small room as he admitted over. "Sorry about the small space. I'd hardly ever get company."
"It's fine, I spent an entire year in an attic above a cafe." Akira admitted hearing that.
They walked in where they see sparkles everywhere with a small robot standing in the middle of the room as they noticed no dust or mess anywhere.
"This is... did you clean it yourself?" Akira asked turning to Yusaku.
Yusaku shook his head walking over. "No. It's the work of this robot here." He knelled down rubbing the head of the robot.
"Roboppi made sure to clean well for master." Similar to Axis, Roboppi's eyes turned to smiles as it spoke.
"A cleaning bot, why would you name it?" Akechi inquired hearing that as Akira knelt down to gently offer Roboppi his hand.
Roboppi turned over as Yusaku looked over answering. "His name is Roboppi."
"I gathered that, but why does it have a name?" Akechi questioned. "It's a simple cleaning bot, not a pet."
Yusaku looked down to Roboppi looked over to him before Yusaku gave a soft smile. "It's not just a cleaning bot. He's also good company, his vocabulary is limited but he's still a good friend."
"I feel happy that master appreciates me." Roboppi's eyes formed to smiles again.
Akira smiled at that.
Just then time froze.

Roboppi: (Sun; RANK 1)
Time unfroze as Yusaku blinked but smiled before telling Roboppi. "Go rest for now Roboppi. We need to chat."
"Yes Master." Roboppi rolled over to a charging area curling down to rest as Yusaku placed down his Duel Disk on a table where Ai rose up confused. "We'd like to chat peacefully so keep to yourself Ai."
"Alright if your sure Yusaku." Ai shrugged his shoulders before going back in his Duel Disk as Yusaku sat down on the bed.
"So now, I had known about how you two are rivals, and at some point enemies. But how exactly were you two involved in that Prime Ministers conquest?" Yusaku asked the two Wildcards.
Akechi closed his eyes. "How much do you know about the Psychotic Breakdowns and Mental Shutdowns a few years ago?"
"At times I didn't pay attention as I focused on the Hanoi. But I know that people went insane, and sometimes death was involved either from there hearts stopping or accidents." Yusaku explained.
"True, well to make a long story short my Persona ability was the cause of that. All at the orders of Masayoshi Shido, my father." Akechi answered calmly. "I would cause political scandals around his opponents and kill anyone who could get in the way or knew too much."
"Akechi was not really aiming to kill for sport. He was after Shido." Akira added over so Yusaku doesn't get the wrong idea. "Yeah he kills but he does it cause he was ordered too not cause of sport all to have Shido lower his guard enough for Akechi to strike a blow. Akechi is the bastard child of Shido."
Yusaku narrowed his eyes hearing that. "Child from a rape huh? I can see why he would be resentful to have those thoughts. The path of revenge is always a very tempting road to go for."
"Considering you were doing the same thing." Akechi noted.
"I believed the Hanoi Project severed my future, where I was doomed. Never rest until I get them for it." Yusaku admitted over before closing his eyes. "But you all stepped in, and pulled me out of it before I took it completely. Revenge solves nothing but at least the satisfaction of achieving it will feel really nice. Still it's not the road to go for."
"True." Akira nodded at that.
"But how do you two know get involved cause I don't think your the same." Yusaku looked at Akira.
Akira frowned over before closing his eyes. "He'd sued me for assault."
"What?" That was the very last thing for Yusaku to expect over. Sure he knows of Akira's history as a Phantom Thief but assault before then?
"On my way home from school I heard a woman struggling with a drunk man. I moved to help and he lost his balance and fell injuring his head… he accused me of assaulting him and forced the woman to support his story." Akira explained frowning. "Long story short I ended up in Sojiro Sakura's custody for a year and became a Phantom Thief."
Yusaku frowned over. "Let me guess: Shido was that man?"
"He was." Akira confirmed at that.
Yusaku sighed over from this. "At this point I'm not surprised. You two were involved cause he wronged you both. Akechi for siring him, and causing trouble for his mother, and you for suing you for assault. Corruption always seeks to have us go through the darkest pits of humans."
"And gods." Akira agreed.
"Along with people who have... good intentions but go about them in the wrong way." Akechi noted.
Yusaku nodded over as they kept chatting over together about there lives before Akechi, and Akira headed back to there home over.
The next day...
Everyone was chatting over before Skye walked up calling card in hand as she blushed a bit. "Sorry, I took so long... I was making last minute changes to make sure it gives the intended effect."
"I'm sure it'll be fine. So, are you ready to send it?" Haru asked her softly.
Skye nodded handing the card to Futaba. "So... what now?"
"Now our grand re-entrance has to be big." Ryuji grinned over at this. "Like how we done with Hiragii-chan."
"Of course, it's time for our comeback." Yusuke grinned.
"And Yusaku, and her are joining you all?" Kolter asked over curiously.
"We will stay with the Calling Card but me, and Sophia aren't gonna take the Treasure with you all." Yusaku stated over to them.
"If you're sure, ready Futaba?" Ann grinned.
"Definitely, I'm ready on your signal Skye." Futaba smiled.
Skye nodded over before saying. "Okay. Go!"
Meanwhile...
Den City is where everyone is paying attention to Link VRAINS at duels going on while SOL Tech is busy at work with Link VRAINS as usual over with several people checking over things, and Zaizen himself working hard in his office. Suddenly the screens started to static surprising everyone before a familiar logo appeared on the screens.
(Cue Theme: Wake Up, Get Up, Get Out There)
"What is that?"
"The Phantom Thieves logo!"
"What the Phantom Thieves?"
Everyone started voicing over confusion, and shock as they see this.
"Helllloooo, residents of Den City!" a static voice sounding of Skull's voiced over.
"I'm sure you've no doubt heard of us, we are the Phantom Thieves." Panther added over towards them. "You all might be wondering, what we are doing here?"
"The Phantom Thieves?" Someone asked. "What's going on?"
"I have no idea, but do you think SOL Technologies or the Knights of Hanoi are involved?" another girl asked.
"Well the answers is quite simple there are always more hearts to steal that we're taking the desires back." Noir voiced over.
"And tonight's target is a rather unique case over." Crow this time voiced. "Despite committing no wrongs, no acts of selfishness, he had still held down a rather famous duelist you all are familiar with."
"As we're sure your familiar, she's quite a Dueling Sensation, and now her Dueling Career is in danger, so we will not take this lying down." From Fox's words the logo faded revealing all of the Phantom Thieves in shadowed silhouette forms over as everyone can see the shape of Playmaker, and Blue Angel with them.
"The individual's name is none other then, Akira Zaizen." A picture of Zaizen appeared above them.
In his office Akira Zaizen's eyes widened slightly.
"Zaizen, although your motives are understandable, and your barely a man of questionable judgement, the decisions you have made are still within our usual job." the voice who revealed it as Playmaker's voiced over.
"We don't usually deal with cases such as yourselves but we also help others who are struggling." Mona's voice said over. "In fact we have some inside help."
"Ain't that right new girl?" Queen's formed turned over to the Blue Angel shape.
The form stepped forward revealing to everyone it really is Blue Angel with them.
"What!?" Akira questioned seeing that as his expression darkened before he closed his eyes. "Skye, why aren't you listening to me? It's for your own good... and now you've resorted to this? Just trust your brother, I'm doing this for your benefit."
At the same time in the inner circle's chamber Queen's eyes narrowed. "Zaizen is a liability, we should deal with him before he reveals too much."
"Yes, that's right. I'd had enough of your bullshit Zaizen." Blue Angel spoke over boldly. "Now, I'm taking back my freedom, and no matter what happens, we will be coming. So get ready," she pointed over at the camera, "we're coming to steal your heart!"
At that a rolling effect happened revealing the Calling Card to everyone.
At Zaizen's office Hayami, and Emperor were shocked from seeing this as the latter read over the Calling Card.
"Sir Akira Zaizen, the Greedy Guardian of Happiness. You have forsaken your sister's happiness through merits that prevents her from growing up, and moving forward later in life. Although, your reasons are understandable following the death of those who brought you two together, it is by no means not an excuse for you to never give her, her freedom she needs to attain. It is from this notion that we have decided to steal your distorted desires with our own hands. From, The Phantom Thieves of Heart"
"Sir, what does this mean? You've only ever tried to help your..." Hayami started only for Zaizen to frown. "Sir?"
"Hayami... give Emperor and me a few minutes of privacy." he told her simply.
Hayami blinked looking really nervous nodding as Emperor looked confused but nodded walking with Zaizen out of the room for some privacy.
"Sota... I can't say I fully understand what's going on but I doubt we'll be seeing each other after today. At least not in any professional sense." Zaizen told him before sighing. "If you need anything though just let me know, I'm going to file my resignation from SOL Technologies and personally deliver it to King."
Emperor blinked over but shakes his head. "No Zaizen, your going to do nothing of the sort. I don't fully get what is going on either but the Phantom Thieves are gonna be going after you. And in my line of work no-one is gonna be left behind. If they mess with one of us, then they deal with all of us. I'll probably not be much help..." He crossed an arm over his chest. "Let me assist you in dealing with these Phantom Thieves in the Data Banks!"
Zaizen's eyes widened before he closed them and shook his head. "I appreciate your offer, but I have to refuse Sota. We both know the Phantom Thieves can't be stopped anyway, and they've already gotten to Skye. Just take care of yourself."
The world turned dark as Shadow Akira frowned. "It's for her own good, even if I can't stop them I'll at least try to have them understand what's going on."
(ALERT: 100%)
Emperor looked troubled at this but nodded. "Then at least don't welcome it. Fight back." He walked off as Zaizen stared off.
In Link VRAINS...
"Did that do it?" Blue Angel asked them when the Futaba Cannon was done for any changes.
"It should have, now we head to the palace." Queen answered.
Playmaker nodded at that. "Then this is where me, and Sophie part ways. We are heading to SOL's Data Banks. With Zaizen's focus less on Security, and SOLs getting shaken up, we should head in, arrive, and take what we need to know about the Hanoi Project." He turned over to Blue Angel stating over. "The Treasure will be your's to take Blue."
Blue Angel nodded over determined. "We took the point of no return. No matter what happens, we WILL take it!"
"Right." the other Phantom Thieves smiled.
"Hold on, shouldn't you stop by the Velvet Room first? For Mona and Sophie?" Skull asked.
"That's what that trip before then was for." Joker pointed out over to him since Sophie, and Mona already gotten human forms after visiting Maruki prior.
"Oh... right." Skull nodded before grinning. "Alright, let's do this."
"Good luck." Noir smiled.
They nodded as Playmaker, and Sophie flew off on Duel Boards while the rest of them handle the Palace. Playmaker turned over towards Sophie. "Sophie odds are we will expect dueling defenses. Can you duel?"
"Yes, I should be capable of it." Sophie nodded.
Playmaker nodded arriving at a ruined gate like structure before he shows Ghost Gal's Data Key as it materialized a portal over as he turned over to her. "Try to keep up." He sped into the portal.
She nodded following him.
Meanwhile in SOL Tech...
While Emperor, and Hayami are discussing things as Zaizen headed off to Link VRAINS an employee called over. "Emperor sir! We have infiltration heading for the Data Banks!"
"Show me!"
At that on the big screen was Playmaker, and Sophie riding the winds on the path to SOL Tech's Data Banks from Ghost Gal's Data Key.
"There making there move!" Eager to protect his friend he directed to the same employee. "Send the two most powerful of the Pawn Drones to halt there progress!"
"Sir, should we send Lancelot and Alexander Knight instead?" the employee asked.
"The Knight Brothers?" Emperor blinked not thinking of that. This wasn't there usual line of work, and while the Pawn Drones are working in progress, if the Phantom Thieves are really the threat he knows, they take no chances. "Yes, inform them instead."
The employee nodded preparing to message them.
With the Inner Circle...
They were all discussing about this turn of events before suddenly the Duel Disks of two men rang.
One man wears a black business suit while having a nametag saying 'Lancelot' on it while having brown hair, and a goatee.
The other has on a black business suit having a nametag saying 'Alexander' having brown hair, and a mustache.
Curious they looked only for their eyes to widen.
"Emperor is requesting we defend the Data Banks in person?" Lancelot questioned. "That's a task more suited to the Pawn Drones what's his name is raving about."
"Still this is the Phantom Thieves we are talking about. No matter what they always find there target." Alexander mentioned over to him. "We're better suited then the Pawn Drones even though this isn't our usual job. I'd say he made the right choice as we're better skilled then them."
"What's your call sir?" Bishop asked over towards King.
He closed his eyes only to frown. "Go, and bring them in by any means necessary."
The Knight Brothers bowed walking out to head into Link VRAINS.
Meanwhile...
(Cue Theme: Life will Change (Instrumental))
Playmaker, and Sophie flew towards as Playmaker asked over towards Axis. "Any paths or turns to take?"
"No, the path to the Data Banks is straight ahead!" Axis formed into an arrow to direct them the path to the Data Banks.
"Thank you." Sophie smiled as they continued on their path.
"Now Sophie, you listen to me, and we can take the Treasure with the others after we deal with whatever is going on here." Playmaker stated over towards her. "I get your new to this but as long as we're together we can get through this."
"I understand, I'll do my best." she mentioned only to blink. "Do you hear something?"
Playmaker blinked looking around as they hear something before Ai notices something. "Evasive action on your six!" Hearing that they quickly dodged as two figures flew above them as they looked up.
Who were there were Alexander, and Lancelot.
Lancelot's VRAINS Avatar shows him wearing diamond armor with a flap of a Blue Knight Chess Piece on it.
Alexander's Link VRAINS Avatar shows him wearing diamond armor with a flap of a Yellow Knight Chess Piece on it.
"Who are you?" Sophie asked curiously.
"We are the defenders against Virus Attacks in SOL Technologies even against threats like you two." Lancelot glared over. "I am Lancelot Knight."
"And I'm his brother Alexander Knight." Alexander added over to them. "And together we are the Knight Brothers, a part of the Inner Circle of SOL Technologies!"
Playmaker frowned at that. "The Inner Circle, that could complicate things."
"You bet your ass, that's right." Lancelot, and Alexander flew in front of them as the latter stated over. "After that little announcement we're on high alert against you Thieves. If you want to access SOL's Data Banks, you have to get pass us first."
"Fine, then which one of you do I have to duel?" Playmaker questioned.
"That be me." Lancelot glared readying forward. "Alexander the girl is yours."
"If you insist brother." Alexander flew over where he's behind them looking at Sophie. "Looks like today's your lucky day little girl."
Sophie blinked at that before nodding. "That's good to hear, oh but this is my first time trying a duel so forgive me if I take a bit longer than you."
Alexander blinked hearing that before his eyes narrowed his annoyance. "Well this will be easier then I thought, though for your sake if you survive next time leave that out."
"I understand." Sophie nodded with a smile.
