Haruhi stared at her phone screen as the video finished, gripping her phone so tightly that her knuckles were turning white. Her body was trembling from anger, no, rage! He lied to her…How long has he been doing this behind her back? Seeing Megumi…the girl everyone said was the girl of his fucking dreams. The girl that he told her not to worry about! That fucking cheating bastard!

"Haruhi…" Hikaru walked up to her cautiously as if she was an animal ready to attack. He gripped her shoulders tightly as he got behind her and looked down at her screen. "What did the killer show you?"

"Nothing much," The killer answered for her over the phone. "Just video and photo evidence of her man having relations with the Haruhi he's always dreamt about."

Haruhi wanted to throw her phone against the wall. She was tired of the killer, she was tired of Tamaki, she was tired of people comparing her to Megumi! She's always ignored it since Haruhi was the one that was with Tamaki, but so many people have whispered around school how they always thought Megumi and him would've been a better match. They didn't understand how Tamaki was in love with Haruhi when they were both so different, but Tamaki had just told her to ignore them. He said he chose Haruhi because he knew that she was the right one for him, and even though he had a different image of their relationship before they got together, he wouldn't change anything between them. That fucking liar!

"I can help you confront them, you know." The killer's voice brought her back. "I have the spare key to the room they're in. If you come over to the hotel, I can give you the key and you can give them a piece of your mind."

"No way!" Hikaru protested. "This has to be a trap Haruhi. He's just leading you all the way there to get to you!"

Haruhi knew it was a stupid idea, but it was as if the killer was in her brain, reading her thoughts. She wanted to confront Tamaki, but it was dangerous with the killer being at the hotel with them. It seemed as if the killer was in a playful mood tonight, unlike the night at the restaurant. He had no plans of killing her, but that didn't mean he didn't want to torture her.

"If you're such a worry wart about me killing her, I'll leave the spare key somewhere outside the hotel so you can grab it. You won't even have to see me. Remember, I'm here to help Haruhi."

Hikaru's grip on her tightened, silently pleading for her not to go, but she had to. She had to catch Tamaki red-handed, and she would go with or without the twins.

"I'll be there."

"Perfect." The killer purred over the phone. "I'll text you where I left the key once you've arrived. I would say see you there, but you won't be seeing me sadly. What a shame. I guess I'll just have to observe your pretty face from afar."

He then hung up. Once the call ended, Haruhi didn't waste any time going to her closet and grabbing her coat and keys.

"Haruhi, you seriously can't be thinking that this is a good idea!" Hikaru followed her. When she tried to open the front door, Hikaru slammed it shut with his hand. "Haruhi!"

"I'm going!" She yelled at him, tears beginning to well up in her eyes. Hikaru just stared down at her dolefully, and Haruhi took in a few deep breaths to try and calm herself down. She shouldn't take her anger out on Hikaru. It wasn't his fault that Tamaki had cheated on her. "I need to confront them, for me. You can either come with me, or stay here, but I am going…now move."

Hikaru let out a deep sigh, he knew there was no changing Haruhi's mind. She was going if he liked it or not. It didn't make any sense why the killer was helping her, he was probably only helping her because he knew this would hurt her. But even though Hikaru knew going to the location of where the killer was, he would not abandon Haruhi in her time of need.

"Alright," he gave in and took his car keys out of his pocket. "I'll drive."

"Haruhi wait!"

Haruhi ignored the twins' pleas and marched toward the hotel. As if the killer knew her location, he had sent her the room number and the location of the key once she was ten minutes away. She walked through the sliding glass doors as the twins finally caught up to her and made a beeline to the elevator. She could tell that Hikaru and Kaoru were debating whether they should say something to her, but they feared she would snap at them in her furious state, and she probably would have. She didn't want to talk, even if it caused an awkward silence in the elevator between the three of them. She knew if she even spoke one word everything she was feeling at that moment would come flooding out of her and it would be targeted at the wrong people. She tapped her foot and flexed her hands in and out of fists as she watched the numbers on the elevator slowly go up. Finally, they reached the fifth floor and Haruhi bolted out of the elevator and turned the corner to the first door down the hall. Room 501…the room where her boyfriend and Megumi were in together. She looked over at the potted plant that was next to the door, and through the dark green foliage, she saw something shiny reflecting from the light. The keycard, right where the killer said it would be.

Haruhi reached into the pot to retrieve the keycard, but couldn't help but notice a small sticky note attached to it. She pulled it off, and if she wasn't already in a terrible mood, she would've rolled her eyes at it.

'Go get him, tiger ;)

With love,

Ghostie.'

Haruhi crumbled up the note and threw it to the side as she stood back in front of the door. She looked at the key in her hand. Once she entered that room, she would have to confront the reality that the man she had loved for over five years was in there with another woman and their relationship would be over. A part of her wanted to leave, pretend that this wasn't happening and that this was just some nightmare. She had been with Tamaki for so long that she didn't remember what it was like being without him, but she knew she had to do this for herself.

She placed the keycard on the pad and the light turned green in a matter of seconds, giving her and the twins access to the hotel room. Haruhi opened the door, the room was dark and quiet. The only things that could be heard were the sounds of her own breathing and heartbeat. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary in the room, until Haruhi saw what looked like a pile of white cloth that was laid out in the center of the floor. Haruhi slowly walked up to it and bent down to retrieve it. Where she saw it was a beautiful white dress, a type of dress that Tamaki had tried to get Haruhi to wear in the past many times. She tightly clenched the dress in her hands and stood back up. Her eyes landed on the double doors, which she knew led to the bedroom. The doors that once she opened, everything would change and there would be no going back.

She made her way to the doors, gripping the door handles tightly before flinging the doors open to expose the two nude in bed together. The duo woke up with a jump from the sudden slam of the doors opening and Megumi's eyes shot over to who it was, and even though it was dark, she knew it was Haruhi. She grew horrified and covered up her bare chest with the duvet as Tamaki slowly rubbed his face tiredly and craned his neck to look towards the door. He squinted, trying to see through the dark who was at the door. He turned on the lamp light on the bedside table and once he was finally able to see, he slowly blinked a few times as if he was trying to figure out what was going on.

"Haruhi..?" His voice was slow and tired. "What are you doing over there?"

"You fucking bastard!" Haruhi yelled as marched up to the bed and threw Megumi's dress at his face.

He groaned and ripped the dress away from his face. He frowned up at her. "What the hell was that for? Why are you so angry?"

Haruhi could almost laugh, was he really asking her that? "You really are full of yourself! I can't believe I wasted five years of my life being with you!"

She grabbed a pillow that was on the floor and threw it at him. She was living her nightmare from right before the couple had gotten together. Where she had confessed her feelings to him and Tamaki said he was in love with himself. He was a self-centered prick! He just wore a facade all these years to play her. How could she be so fucking stupid? She glared at Megumi on the other side of the bed, who was leaning up against the headboard. She flinched at Haruhi's intense glare, scared that Haruhi would jump her, but Haruhi wasn't a physical person. Even though she would love to slap the shit out of both of them, she didn't want there to be a full-blown brawl in this hotel room.

"How long has this been going on?" Haruhi seethed out at the both of them.

Megumi looked away from Haruhi, and Tamaki continued to look at her confused as if he was still trying to comprehend where he was at that moment.

"What are you talking about? How long has what been going on?" Then, as if he finally felt the presence of someone next to him, he turned over and saw Megumi naked right next to him. He looked from her, back to Haruhi, then back at Megumi before it seemed to click and his eyes grew wide.

"What the hell?!"

He scattered off the bed, the sheets getting tangled in his legs as he tried to get up. He fell to the floor, and Megumi shrieked as there was now nothing to cover her. She quickly used her arms to cover her breasts and crossed her legs to try her best to cover herself back up. That's when Haruhi was able to get a good look at her body. Megumi was everything Haruhi wasn't, plump and curvy. Haruhi has grown a bit since high school, but she was just barely a C-cup. She began feeling self-conscious about her body. Was this what Tamaki imagined when they were intimate with each other? Did he picture her having Megumi's body? Now that she remembered, he usually had his eyes closed whenever they were intimate. She just thought it was because he was letting himself be absorbed in pleasure, but now she was double-guessing herself. She could feel a strain in her throat as tears threatened to spill. Megumi was everything womanly every man wanted, unlike her.

When Tamaki was finally able to get up, he kept the sheets around his waist as he looked between the two similar-looking girls in the room.

"Megumi, what the hell are you doing in my hotel room?!"

"Th…This is my hotel room…" Megumi muttered as she looked away embarrassed.

"I…I…" Tamaki used a hand to clench his hair, trying to figure out what had happened that got him in this messy situation. "There is no way. I would never do something like this Haruhi. Something must've happened!"

"No shit something happened! You fucking slept with another woman!"

"No, no, I must've thought she was you! That's the only reason why this could've happened! Someone must've put something in my drink and I thought she was you!" He saw what he said only seemed to make Haruhi angrier and he pleaded for her to listen. "Haruhi, please! You have to believe me! I would never do this to you!"

"You know one thing I've heard." Hikaru finally spoke up while leaning against the door frame. Tamaki and Megumi only just seemed to just notice the twins, who had matching murderous glares towards the two. "Is that when a person is drunk, what they say or do are what they actually want when they are sober."

"You knew Haruhi was staying home because you had a so-called 'meeting' with your dad. Who just so happens to be in France?" Kaoru added. "There is no possible way that you could've thought that Haruhi came all the way to the hotel just to sleep with you. You need to work on your lying skills Tono."

"No…No, I would never…" He stared back at Haruhi, tears glistening in his eyes. "Haruhi please…"

He tried to reach out for her, but Haruhi just shook her head and took a step away from his grasp.

"I can't…" Her voice was brittle. She had to turn away, she couldn't look at him anymore. Haruhi couldn't tell if he was telling the truth or not, but Hikaru was right. Even if he was drunk, he wouldn't have slept with Megumi if a part of him didn't want to. Even though he had chosen her in the end, Haruhi wasn't the person he really wanted…"We're done."

"No, Haruhi please." He tried walking towards her but stumbled as his feet were still tangled within the sheets. "I promise this won't happen ever again. You're the one I truly want to be with-"

*Smack*

Everyone in the room was silent as the sound of Haruhi slapping Tamaki echoed across the room. Haruhi wasn't holding back anymore as her sobs began breaking through. She didn't know if her tears were more from sadness or anger, she just knew she was done with him. Done with their relationship.

"I can't believe that I allowed myself to ever fall in love with you." She said in a broken whisper before leaving the room, ignoring the tearful calls out to her by Tamaki. The man she never wanted to see again.

Haruhi left the hotel and walked across the parking lot towards Hikaru's car. She began wiping the tears streaming down her face and tried to steady the breathing of her sobs. The people she walked by in the parking lot stared at her as she passed. She knew she must've looked like a mess, and it must've been obvious what had happened to her. What other reason would there be for a young girl to be sobbing while leaving a hotel? Once she got the the car, she tried to open the door but it was locked. All the feelings she was feeling at the moment were coming down on her and she didn't know how to release it so she began letting it out on the door handle. Pulling it harder and harder as if she used enough force the car door would finally open for her.

She then suddenly felt someone grab onto her arm and she turned to yank it out of the person's grip, but they had a stronghold. She began thrashing around to try and get out of the person's grip, but they began to try and calm her down.

"Haruhi, hey, hey," When she realized it was Hikaru, she stopped. She felt Hikaru cup her face with his hands so she would look up at him. "I know you're feeling so many things right now, but you need to calm down, alright? I'm here for you."

His voice was soothing in a way Haruhi had rarely ever heard from him. He was right, even though she was a mess right now, ripping the handle off Hikaru's car wouldn't solve anything. She took in a shaky breath, trying to calm herself down, but it only seemed to make another wave of tears come forth. As her sobs grew harder, Hikaru's expression turned to one of pity before he wrapped her in a loving embrace. She let it all out, sobbing hard into his chest. She hadn't cried that hard since she was a child when her father had gotten so sick with the flu that she thought he was going to die. She was strong, that's what everyone has told her ever since she was in preschool, but her dad has told her that sometimes even the strongest people needed someone to be emotional too, and that person for her now was Hikaru.

Megumi rubbed her wet hair with a towel as she stepped out of the shower and walked over to the fogged-up mirror. She used her hand to wipe the steam off the mirror and looked at her reflection. Multiple red marks were scattered around her neck and chest from the events that took place only a few hours before. Her fingers lightly brushed along the ones on her neck, and a small smile touched her lips. She couldn't believe that she actually had sex with Tamaki. It all felt like a dream, but here was actual proof of their lustful night together.

She wished Tamaki would've stayed with her, but he had left shortly after Haruhi. He first tried to chase after her, but one of the twins (Kaoru she believed) had stayed back to try and not let Tamaki follow, saying it would be best if they didn't talk for a while. Megumi knew that Tamaki wouldn't stay with her after Haruhi. He was a mess, blaming himself for what had happened, and after breaking down for nearly ten minutes, he got dressed and left without saying anything to her. It did hurt that he didn't acknowledge her, but the killer had warned her that he might be cold at first, but he would help Tamaki be drawn to her. That Megumi was the girl that he needed in his life. She just had to be patient.

Megumi finished up in the bathroom and wrapped the towel before exiting to the bedroom where a guest was waiting for her. She let out a high-pitched scream when she saw the killer standing in the corner of the room.

"There's the girl of the hour!" The killer praised her. He walked up to her and grasped her bare shoulders. She tightened the towel around herself, but the killer didn't seem to care that her nude body was only being covered by a small towel. "You were amazing. The plan went as perfectly as I hoped." He held her face as he laughed out in excitement. For some reason, he was scarier when he was this happy.

"You will still help me get Tamaki to be with me, right?"

"Oh yes. I don't ever back out of a deal my sweet." He gave her cheeks an affectionate squeeze before letting her go. He then gave her a performance-like bow. A bow the Megumi remembered a certain type of group back at high school using. "I am in your debt miss Kanoya. Just let me know what you want, and I will do anything in my power to help you to achieve it." His mask met her eyes, and she knew he had the biggest smirk plastered on his face underneath it. "Even if that means I have to kill. What would you like for me to do?"

"I…I don't know. Other than you helping me get Tamaki, I don't really know what I want."

He gave his head a slight tilt. "How about I help you with your family issues? I know that your mother loves your father, but she is just spewing hate about him because your grandparents will disown her if she doesn't. How about I give your grandparents a little visit? I bet you I can change their mind."

Megumi's eyes widened. "No, you can't kill grandparents!"

"Oh, and why is that?"

"Because they are my family!"

"But even so, they have given your life so much hardship. Just because they're family, doesn't mean they care about you. I should know."

"But…But…"

"If you don't want me to kill them, I won't." He sounded bored by her answer. "But think about it. Are you truly happy with them being a hindrance to your life? With them gone, all your dreams of being a happy family will finally come true, and then put Tamaki into the mix. You'll be living the best life." He began backing up to the corner of the room and put his hand on the light switch. "Get back to me if you change your mind. My offer expires once Tamaki and you have established a relationship." He gave her a small wave before saying, "Ta-Ta." and turned off the lights.

Megumi used her hands to feel her way around the room. Once her hands brushed up against a light switch, she flicked them back on, and the killer was gone.
