Ah, that omake made me feel good…good at being bad. Remember, Lostbelt arc is where YOU are the villains in the story and the Crypters are the heroes. Delicious irony of the highest quality right there. Type-Moon really knew how to make you wanna root for the supposed bad guys. The only two Lostbelts I personally like were the Scandinavia and India Lostbelts since for the former, after eliminating Surtr, the Lostbelt can progress, and in India one, it was a peaceful world if it wasn't for a certain Alter Ego's machination. Greek Lostbelt…Well, God of War anyone? Britain Lostbelt? RIP AND TEAR!

Besides, previous chapter is a random whim I had to write. Praise me for invoking hate for Chaldea! I know you wanted to channel that hate so I wrote it for you viewers. Hahahahaha!

But I am considering it a Bad Ending. The Lunar Witch will have a Good Ending, heck, a Golden Ending would be better if there's a positive suggestion in the reviews that could convince me to write such an ending.

But writing that Cosmos Denial ending would be interesting since I was tired when I wrote Chapter 17 as a rough draft. Maybe in another year or two…wait, Fate/Extra Record could be out by then, so I won't have time to write as I play Hakuno-chan in HD on the new consoles.

Hestia slumped on the couch, exhausted beyond belief as she was relieved with the rest of Denatus, the alias of both Hakuno and Bell were safe. Hakuno remains known as the Holy Witch, and Bell interestingly got the alias Blazing Dawn (in the language of the gods meant 'Inherited Hope') which surprisingly came from the god Ogma of all people. From what he heard from his child Mord, the fight between Bell and the Enhanced Minotaur was a reenactment of Argonaut, especially with the fire and lightning swords. The others approved (with Loki's help since she did keep her word on helping with the nicknames).

But what was exhausting Hestia of all things? Her old friend from Tenkai Artemis request that Hakuno to be converted into her Familia. Despite being good friends, Hestia put her foot down when it came to her daughter. The first child to asked to join her Familia when she had just descended from Tenkai and had been working hard to help their Familia survive. She would not betray her child, nor any of her other children that deserved a home with the warmth of the hearth. But she had to wonder…how did these two met exactly?

*One Week Ago…*

Artemis and her Familia settled in for the night, the Goddess of the Hunt seeking to slay the beast known as Antares that was sealed off in ancient ruins made by spirits long ago and was gazing up at the sky. She smiled fondly, as she heard the news of Hestia descending and forming her Familia in Orario. And judging from the gossip from various villages and towns, she's doing quite well with this 'Holy Witch' at her side.

As she was about to turn in for the night, she felt a call. Not of any sound, but of spiritual calling. It was akin to parent to child-no, creator to creation. She turned to the direction of the call and began making her way there, passing through minor obstacles like they were nothing until she reached a small pond, and someone was bathing in it.

Pale skin, gentle pink lips, wavy brown hair, and lovely brown eyes that shone with the light of stars in them. This child…was one from the Moon itself.

The two locked eyes and the girl blinked in surprise and confusion. "…Can I help you?" she asked. It was a lovely voice, one that could draw a person in if they're not careful and the Goddess knew, she had to keep this girl by her side. A child of the moon was right there in front of her.

"Child," she spoke softly, gently looking at her as the girl got out and dried herself with a towel. "Would you like to be in my Familia?" she asked.

The girl looked at her with a frown, "I'm already in the Hestia Familia." She answered as Artemis blinked in surprise at that.

"Hestia? She's out here?" the Moon Goddess asked, looking around.

"I was sent by the Guild on a quest to investigate something important. Mother is in Orario keeping an eye out on the rest of the Familia while I'm gone." The girl told her as Artemis pouted.

She wanted to be the one called Mother by her!

The girl was fully dressed and was preparing to head over to where it appeared to be her camp. "My name is Artemis!" the goddess shouted as the girl was continuing her path. "And yours?"

The girl paused and looked over her shoulder to the Huntress, "Hakuno Kishinami."

*Now*

Hakuno sighed, two huntresses from Artemis' Familia followed her, and Lucius and Gareth towards the port city of Melen. In the Black Desert, Hakuno discovered a strange group called Evilus there experimenting with the black sand and was wise to capture them and extract their knowledge with her magecraft.

The lunatics spouting about resurrecting the Behemoth in some crazy ritual so it could rampage across the land once again. Their souls were never reincarnated as Hakuno took their souls and converted everything into energy. A rather cruel thing, but she's a witch, and paying evil onto evil was one way to increase her terrifying reputation amongst the gods. It'd make them wonder what would happen if she had gotten hold of their souls.

Frankly, Hakuno wanted to find out as her hidden sadism was kicking in. Such is the nature of a descendant of Morgan le Fae.

But the discovery of the Temple of Behemoth was quite the sight. A hidden temple dedicated to the monster was underneath the sand via sinkhole. Oh boy now that was a headache with all the sand in her clothes. But she did discover that it was not human hands that crafted the Temple of Behemoth, for the writings were Enochian, Language of the Angels.

An incomplete story was told on the paintings in the temple. A vengeful and grieving goddess chained and locked away in a pit. Her cursing her fellow deities for their betrayal, and the depiction of three terrifying monsters. Two she identified as Behemoth and Leviathan, but the Black Dragon confused her.

In biblical lore, there was no black dragon in the three chaos monsters Elohim (one of the original names of God) created in Genesis but a great bird whose wings blocked out the sun. Unless the dragon is replacing the bird in that trinity, she had no clue. She never had studied religious figures and gods before outside of those associated with the rise of heroes, so she was starting to regret that now.

The one who wrote this tale cursed the gods for betraying his mother as she lay in the cavernous abyss alone and unloved. These temples were built to any seeking the truth of what happened long ago, and the Sin of the Gods of Tenkai revealed. It said that if she wanted the truth, seek out the other temples dedicated to the three beasts and clues to where to find them.

Hakuno thanked the one who wrote this major hint of what was going on in this Lost World. Raziel, she will never forget it.

But then a vision plagued her after her understanding of this fragmented story. War, famine, conquest and death spreading throughout the land, destroying it as monsters rampaged unchecked. The three great beasts rampaging as adventurers died. Then the curse, thousands of curses seeping out of an abyss with no light as armored entities crawled out of it and began a massacre.

The Regalia recorded both the vision and of their findings in the temple to help sort through the information better as she replayed that vision and recordings of lore from Pan Human History. If she can find the connection, then this world won't be destroyed, and probably avert Chaldea's appearance. From what Gareth said, a tree of sorts that is responsible for Lostbelts doesn't exist here and something else is keeping it anchored.

So now here in Melen, Hakuno was looking for the Leviathan's Trench. The very lair of the monster itself that was beneath the sea. Artemis had already been off to Orario to deliver Hakuno's message as the girl stood at the beach with two Servants and two huntresses of Artemis at her side. It was nighttime, easy to hide what she was about to do as she raised her gloved hand as the Regalia responded to its Sovereign's will.

A Reality Marble was generated, creating a maze akin to the Lunar Chimeric Seas she once ventured in during the Holy Grail Wars as Gareth looked in awe, Lucius whistling in interest while the two huntresses looked surprised. "You two," she said to Artemis' hunters, "Guard the entryway. The one thing we don't need are idiots ruining what I'm trying to look for." She ordered in a calm tone as the two women got in position as Hakuno began her venture into the pathway down in the sea with two Stray Servants.

"You know Flora," Lucius spoke up after they were out of earshot of the two children of Artemis, "We can take the time to get to know one another on this rather than walk in mere silence." He suggested.

"Why do you call her Flora?" Gareth asked, confusion in her eyes as Hakuno silently wondered why as well. The Sword Emperor smirked.

"I am the reincarnation of Favonius, the sacred winds of spring and husband of Flora. Naturally I would know of my beloved Flora's reincarnation anywhere for the flowers expel her beauty to all that see it. Like so!" he explained while presenting a photo of Hakuno. It was of the time she had a sundress and sleeping in a flowerbed on the Moon Cell and was popular amongst the male Masters at the time. It only served to make Hakuno's face turn bright red as she tried swiping it from the Roman Emperor.

She cursed Nero for posting it on the blogs, because she had to deal with boys trying to hit on her when she was trying to survive a death game.

"I'm not the reincarnation of any goddess! You're just plain insane like any Berserker Servant!" Hakuno snapped back in irritation while Lucius held the photo up high beyond her reach as she tried to jump for it.

"Berserker? Don't tease me my dear Violet. For I am an Avenger, the world's mightiest hero class!" he smiled as he wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her close when she attempted to grab the photo. His eyes looked down at her hidden ones as he leaned in. "And I am eager to have you by my side again my goddess."

"Uh…You really have horrible luck don't you cousin?" Gareth spoke up as Hakuno merely gave her a flat look that spelled it out for her.

"I'm already married and engaged at the same time. Dealing with a third that doesn't know restraint or genuine kindness is not my ideal partner either." Hakuno answered. Suddenly, Lucius let go of her waist and grabbed her shoulders with a serious look to his face.

"Whom are the fiends that forced you to marry them!?" he demanded, clear seething fury as Hakuno looked away. Gareth bumped a fist in her palm in realization.

"Oh! You mean when your birth mother had set you up with that blond guy when BB captured us?" she asked innocently. Now Hakuno cursed her distant relative for dooming her to the rants of this lunatic as he did just that in both Italian and Latin. She didn't know the words, but she had a clear view that it was threats and insults before holding Hakuno's face with both hands.

"Who are they? Did they do anything to you? And why are you not upset with it?!" he asked in rapid succession as he started right into her eyes.

"Mom set me up with the King of Heroes, Gilgamesh. Not sure how and why, but instead of wife, I'm his queen for some reason." She began as Lucius was seeing red now. "And the second was actually Nero Claudius, whom I proposed to myself." She finished as Lucius felt cold and stiff while Hakuno broke free from his grip and kept her distance, all while securing the photo Lucius had of her. "If anything, Gil kisses me, and I snuggle with Nero when going to sleep. They are…special to me so if it was them, it'd be alright." She finished as she went back to exploring the maze with her face red in embarrassment.

Lucius was frozen in place, not even the sound of him breathing was heard.

She never wanted to confess that incident in the Far Side and lamented that her birth mother Elise Kishinami tricked her into marrying Gilgamesh of all people. Sure, he's a jerk of all spades and has his rare moments of niceties…but there was no way she's falling for him! Not ever! Even now she can see the King of Heroes laughing at her and teasing of her reacting like Rin's first Secret Garden.

Then there was Nero, her first Servant and loyal blade. Always craving attention like a puppy, she was affectionate to the utmost degree and was more tolerant in terms of ego compared to Gil. Hakuno wanted to grant her Servant the two wishes from her heart, one to be married as a bride, the other is to have someone by her side if she ever died again. She kept those promises in her heart as she looked back on memory lane.

"Oh, Hakuno there it is!" Gareth cried out, pointing to an underwater temple…with miniature Leviathan offspring swimming around! They were the size of horses and were very young in appearance with their serpentine bodies. As they swam around the projected labyrinth walls Hakuno, and the Servants were in. They tried biting the walls, but it proved too durable to break as Hakuno smiled in relief before venturing deeper to find the murals and ancient writings.

The Regalia began scanning and deciphering the language as it revealed a forgotten truth.

What she read chilled her to the bone, as the murals depicted the gods in terror as something was killing them and what appeared to be Tenkai from its description turned into a burning wasteland.

She noticed another mural, depicting a tree growing out of a pit, and a slithering snake coiled around it. A title was inscribed below.

Angel of the Abyss

A dark foreboding crept up her skin, making her wish she knew what this was referring to since she never studied religious figures. But something struck her odd, whom did Raziel, the one who wrote these records refer to as Mother?

/Dungeon Core/

She felt it a second time. A child of her husband's creation learning of the truth from their children's final testaments. Her emaciated body pulled against the chains holding her down, yet they still held. No matter, she made this place she was bound to her home as the souls of countless humans hailing from a time now wiped out as her new children. The roots growing from her back were latched into the very walls themselves pulsed as she began altering the Dungeon once again.

She will not make it easy for that cursed seal above to pacify her now with the weak prayers that foolish god dared offer. Compared to Zeus that had calmed her with his eccentric prayers of hope and tales of brave humans, these small tithes did not appease her for they were all for every other race that should not be in control of the world.

The children of Adam and Eve will one day be the last ones standing, and she will ensure no gods control them, as her late husband wished for.

She closed her eyes and willed the cursed souls of humans of Proper History be reincarnated as the monstrous children of the Dungeon. Her avengers of the injustice thrown at them while she prayed for her freedom.

Just a bit more time until she can finally see the sun again…
