So, Nightingale Christmas is here and I am not rolling this time around. Only few banners interest me this upcoming year but mainly Castoria.

An author called jaune rose arc has done a 'react' fic to Lunar Witch. They're new to fanfiction and are just beginning their own writing despite their grammar issues. Give them a welcoming applause for taking their first steps as a fanfiction writer. I look forward to reading their fic when they do more chapters. On the off-hand, if anyone wants to do a react fic, PM me and I'll let you know if it's alright or not.

Oh, and chapter 17 and 21 will be different on my version set on Archives of Our Own. How? Go read it if you care.

"Oh, Hestia! You died in stage 1! I must say, I'm disappointed!" Hermes lamented. They were out of the Fake Dungeon now, with Hestia's party suffering a party wipe as said goddess was on her back.

"I knew it!" Hestia exclaimed as she got up, "This is a stupid game made by stupid developers for stupid people!" she shouted with anger as the sounds of a whining child caught her attention. It was Primo being held by the back of her collar by Hakuno as the elf child was rubbing her rear from some sort of pain.

"Sorry Mother, Primo interfered with a prank that caused the monster to spawn like that. An error in the game." She apologized as Hestia paused and then calmed down. If her daughter was apologizing for her child's mischief, then she had no right to rage on the developers for a screw up.

"Oh? An error you say?" Hermes realized before snapping his fingers. "Then proper compensation is required. One thousand Iris for the system error." He declared, handing Hestia a pouch of the in-game currency. Somehow, she felt good she was given something precious as this for an apology for their mistakes.

"Well, at least that was over with." Bell smiled with relief as Hakuno looked at him and frowned.

"…No more Belko?" she asked. She noticed he was in his adventurer garbs once again and not the girly clothes and wig he had on earlier.

"NO!" the boy immediately answered. All Hakuno did was pout while Primo looked at the two in confusion. She clearly missed out on something good, and it irked the elf child to no end.

"Violet, Lady Vesta, I suggest leaving this madhouse. My sanity can't handle the antics of Mercurius anymore." Lucius spoke up and everyone turned to the Sword Emperor. His eyes were dulled as if doing a thousand-yard stare to escape the antics Hermes planned out.

"Me and Hermes had an agreement, a quid pro quo that I have yet to complete." Hakuno denied as the Hestia Familia and the Servant looked at her. "In return of helping the Hermes Familia out of their financial problems, they'll help me with finding connections to certain shops and trades that will aid in our exploration in Dungeon.

…

Okay, Hestia had to give it to Hakuno for using Hermes for that since he's a god whose domains include commerce, trades and travels. He'll know what they'll need and where to find them…at a reasonable price. It was times like these that Hestia is always impressed with her daughter's thinking.

"That we did! And to be honest, this is currently a test run to see if there were problems with the game. From what we went through with your run Hestia, there are a few adjustments we'd have to make for the common players (gods bored)." Hermes nodded his head in agreement with Asfi sighing in exhaustion.

"Then can I give this game a shot?" an alluring voice asked. Everyone looked and a few hearts were captured that moment while Hestia sighed and Hakuno beneath her veil narrowed her eyes.

"Freya? What brings you out here?" Hestia asked, noticing the Captain of the Freya Familia Ottar standing beside her dutifully.

"Me? Why…" she paused, looking at both Bell and Hakuno specifically as she noticed the Holy Witch mouthing something only, she could understand. "Play along."

"I'm curious to what Hermes has been planning, especially with the fact that my dear friend Hestia got roped into this." The goddess answered while Hermes tipped his hat.

"Why, this is an RPG Game featuring the Dungeon! Well, our own version of it with a few odd things here and there, but it does grant insight of what our children always face down there isn't it?" Hermes explained while giving Asfi, Bell, Hakuno and Primo looks for confirmation.

"That's right! I've been to the Dungeon myself a few times and the inside reminds me of it!" Primo answered.

"Getting the monsters to resemble the ones in the Dungeon and weak enough for an ordinary person to fight was quite a hassle but shouldn't be a problem for a goddess with war as part of her domain." Hakuno noted dryly as Freya noticed a hidden amusement in the girl's tone. She was subtle in it as even Ottar took notice. It was a challenge.

"Well…I think I'll go and to see how it's like. If anything, a little distraction here and there adds some spice to Orario." She mused as several people and gods took notice of Freya's interest.

*One Hour Later…*

"Oh, she's good. Lady Freya is a pro at this." Hermes commented from his invisible position with Asfi as Freya and Hestia were playing the game and were fighting back-to-back against the fake monsters of the dungeon. Even without her godly powers, Freya reminded everyone that she's not just a goddess of beauty, but of war as well. She had given Hestia some sword fighting tips to the tiny goddess and now Hestia was lasting longer in the fights than when she first started earlier today.

"Hestia, how many more buffs can you cast before running out of MP?" Freya asked as they were surrounded by numerous monsters in a massive mob attack.

"I can cast either two more offensive buffs or defensive buffs." Hestia growled out as a fake Al-Miraj leapt at her, only to be cut down by Hestia as experience points were given to her. "You have a plan I take it?" she asked.

Freya looked around for any hints or clues that would give them an edge against this swarm and noticed a strange glowing foe that was new. Pulling out a pouch containing Iris she purchased, she made her request. "Hermes, what kind of monster is that?" she gestured as she tossed the appropriate amount of Iris in the air which Hermes caught.

"That is a rare Deadlight Monster, when killed it causes any monster in range of its explosive light to be dazed for a minute." He answered as Freya launched one of her throwing knives unto the creature as it exploded, causing all the monsters in range to stagger in a dazed state. This allowed Hestia and Freya to acquire the edge they needed to win.

"A pity Bell-kun or the rest of my Familia couldn't join the game. They could have shown us the ropes while Hakuno adjusts the difficulty to match our skill levels." Hestia lamented.

"Same with Ottar…but he might finish these monsters before we can even draw our own weapons." Freya noted with a wry smile to her face. She could picture her child now, just casually destroying these weaker fake monsters with but a backhand without even blinking.

"By the way…Have you found her?" Hestia asked out of the blue. It gave Freya pause as she sighed regretfully. Genuine regret.

"Unfortunately, no. It's as if she's disappeared from both Tenkai and Genkai. There have been no word of either Elohim or Asherah in the last few millennia since they went missing." Freya answered.

[Whom are they referring to, Hermes-sama?] Asfi asked as her patron god tilted his hat down as if in shame.

[The ones who created humans. Your true patron deities, Asfi.] he answered.

Hakuno who was listening to both conversations widened her eyes at the revelation. The name of the forgotten goddess was Asherah. In Pan Human History she and Elohim (another name for the Biblical God) were a duo that were worshipped in the past. No one knew what happened but there was a falling out with the worshippers when they became a monotheistic group (belief in one God only). She had been left forgotten but vaguely mentioned as a sort of object in certain moments with famous figures of that religion.

But now she knows who is trapped in the Dungeon, cursing the world with her monsters when she was cast out of Tenkai and trapped in a pit of darkness…that sounded eerily familiar to a certain fiend, and it gave Hakuno bad chills just thinking about it.

Seeing that they were getting closer to the end goal, Hakuno decided to bring out her old friend from the Moon Cell as the final challenge if they ever want to face the last boss. "Come on out, Moby Dick." She commanded as she pressed a button.

Moby Dick, a whale monster program she encountered in the Holy Grail War was considered a powerful foe. It was a difficult foe to face and even with the adjustments she made to it; Moby Dick was still a fearsome foe.

When the monster appeared, Hestia scowled in memory of Primo's prank. This was the very same monster that wiped her team out and was back for a rematch. "Careful, this one is strong, even if my daughter adjusted its power carefully." Hestia warned.

Freya pursed her lips before smiling, her battle axe reflecting the whale's face on its edges. "This creature…it stirs a yearning to fight I haven't felt since the old days. What of you, Hestia?" she questioned her fellow goddess.

"…I'm reminded of the Titanomachy all over again with the pressure this thing emits." Hestia admitted as she stared at Moby Dick carefully. The creature Hakuno summoned as a foe for them made Hestia recall her predecessors the Titans and the battles that she, Zeus, Demeter, Hera, Poseidon and Hades faced due to the air the thing emitted. In her younger goddess years when she started out, the Titans had a similar emission of pressure around them that made her wary at first. It was reliving a past she'd rather forget as she held her sword in front of her as the giant whale screeched at them.

This really took her back and then Hestia realized it herself, just like Bell and Hakuno did, heck she did this in the Titanomachy itself! Hestia was going on a new adventure, and an excited smile made its way onto her lips.

As the two goddesses began their battle, the knight and queen awaiting further in prepared themselves. They would find this match to be quite amusing for the both of them.
