Primordial: Lucius may be down, but he ain't out yet. He's Hakuno's sitcom arch-enemy after all.

: In the future she will. That will be a secret. And Woodwose is in love with Aurora actually, but truly loyal to Morgan. Must have made a mistake somewhere.

Engineer4Ever: She's level 6, and I'm sure Apollo had something planned but this is Apollo we're talking about. He's not exactly that bright for a sun god.

Z.L.C genesmith: She'll probably be cryptic about it. Let the pupil struggle with the riddle until they grow wise from experience to solve it. It's important for Welf's own growth as well.

Misaka Phenex: If you want a Chaldea Reaction fic, why not do it yourself then? I'll permit it.

haziqsaffari2: Heartwarming indeed. And Lucius is down, but not out!

Peroroncico: Oh he'll get what's coming to him soon. Patience my friend.

Onishin Tsukitenshi: The 'special reward' is something so mundane yet so Hakuno that Gilgamesh will love it. It's even Mom Morgan approved!

Hestia sighed, finally finishing updating everyone's but Hakuno's Falna while Morgan observed everything in detail. The Fae Queen had analyzed with numerous analysis spells all within a mere gaze of a single update and understood how the Falna worked on these artificial Saint Graphs that would allow adventurers to rival Heroic Spirits in certain degrees and feats.

She comprehended it and understood the mechanics behind them as she planned for the worst-case scenario if Hakuno's Falna was undone. She knew that if Hestia were to be killed, the Falna on Hakuno's back would be rendered inert and another god could claim her into their own familia, forcefully if they're inclined. Once she completes her own variant of the Falna, she can use it on Hakuno in case that scenario ever did happen. It would be wrong to take her from this familia she was enjoying, the new friends and smiles she now sported with her time with them.

As a mother, she had to ensure her child's happiness. But it doesn't mean visits weren't allowed. Baobhan Sith had taken an interest in her recently discovered sibling. Morgan made it clear that there was no need for any fighting for rulership for Britain. Hakuno had founded her own kingdom.

In the Far Side, Hakuno made it clear she was going to use the unlimited resources of the Moon Cell to create a new home for humanity on the Moon once she won the war and became Sovereign. That had made Baobhan Sith impressed at her "younger" sister's achievements, saying she had clearly inherited Morgan's talent if she was the victor and wanted to know her shoe size. Part of the Fairy Queen was wary of that last notion, since said shoes her adopted daughter collected still had the feet of said owners still attached to them.

As Hestia began updating Hakuno's stats, Morgan handed her daughter an amulet. The Holy Witch looked bemused by it until Morgan spoke. "If you ever decided to visit Britain, wear it to cross the Bounded Field and alert the guards of your status." She told her. Hakuno looked at the amulet again and then realized what it meant while the two heard an audible wince from Hestia.

"That last fight really gave you a boost in the Endurance stat Hakuno. Big time." Hestia said with a grimace. The Hestia Familia winced at that, knowing all too well the two reasons for it in the first place. Primo looked especially guilty at the reminder.

"Don't blame yourself Primo." Hakuno spoke up, getting her daughter's attention. "I chose this of my own will. Between my own life or my children to save, I'd choose yours over mine." She told her with a look of absolute resolve in her eyes directly at Primo.

"Mom…" Primo said softly, clearly touched by her words while Morgan nodded her head in proud approval. Like mother like daughter Morgan and Hakuno truly were alike.

Haruhime held her hands to her heart, smiling with tears in her eyes at such motherly love.

Lili looked away, almost sad as she recalled how her parents tried to earn money in the Dungeon for her sake and died. But still, she was recalling that bittersweet memory with a better understanding of her parents and their love for her even after death.

Ais had her eyes closed, recalling the gentle warmth of her mother, of how she stood before her younger self as she confronted the Black Dragon after her father fell, all in order to protect her.

Bell reflected on his own upbringing, since he never knew of his parents, his grandfather was the closest thing to a father figure at the time and had gone out of his way to save Bell when he was attacked by mere goblins as a child. He understood where Hakuno was going on from his own experience of a parent (grandparent in his case) protecting their child.

For Hestia, it was a sense of peace and comfort. Mainly due to one of her domains being that of family, and that Hakuno was a proud example of what family does for one another. The goddess of the hearth knew that Hakuno will be a great parent as she grew older and have more kids besides Primo (whether she births or adopts). She double checked Hakuno's stats out of usual habit to see if Hakuno has something absurd in her Falna.

For the first time, there wasn't any new absurd skill or magic in it. Just stat increases. For once, Hestia felt the headaches disappear.

"Now that everything is done, can we go over the plan?" Hestia asked.

Hakuno's Regalia activated in response to its wielder's will as a holographic map of the location they were going to fight for the War Game appeared. "Apollo has over a hundred people in his familia, and this match is an all-out warfront. The match is decided if we either A: Defeat their Captain, or B: Force them to surrender by overwhelming strength." Hestia explained as she pointed to the valley it was taking place in. "The area is teeming with wildlife and there have been no reports of monsters in the vicinity so you can procure your own food if what we can order from the market." Hestia explained while Hakuno cleared her throat.

Everyone looked at her and noticed she was smiling in almost a smugly fashion that Morgan recognized as her own when she knows things are going her way. Like mother like daughter.

"We can get the Apollo Familia to give us some of their provisions as well. Thanks to us having a double agent on the inside." Hakuno beamed brightly in contrast to what she just said. Hestia narrowed her eyes and looked at her daughter warily. She knew Hakuno did something behind everyone's back in order to catch them off guard just for giggles. All Hestia can do was sigh when Nero barges in with a squirming sack and dropping it on the floor to reveal a member of the Apollo Familia bound and gagged wriggling on the floor like a caterpillar.

It took all of Morgan's willpower to not react to the resemblance to that particular bug because Hakuno was there. She had her pride of looking like an unstoppable, powerful witch and mother in front of Hakuno's innocent awe at her. She can handle this, yes, yes, she can. All she had to do was think of something else and not look at the squirming Pallum.

"And here's our double agent now!" Hakuno smiled, one filled with teeth as the Pallum, Luan Espel was screaming in protest behind the gag. "Lili, work your magic." She ordered as the other Pallum in the room realized what Hakuno was planning as she rubbed her hands together and smiled diabolically.

Oh yes, payback to the cowardly bastard that threw insults at Hakuno and Hestia in order to provoke a War Game. Luan was trembling in fear as Lili slowly stepped forward with her hands out, finger wiggling mischievously as his silent screams of terror rang out in the underground home.

*The next day…*

The single cart full of provisions and necessities the Hestia Familia needed was heading towards its destination compared to the numerous carts the Apollo Familia had as an extra cart was to take the Hestia Familia to their location for the War Game. Hestia had to remain behind as Artemis kept Hestia company.

From her own familia, the Captain Rethusa and Lieutenant Lante had volunteered to aid the Hestia Familia in their War Game. They looked at Hakuno fondly as the young witch recalled these exact two when she went to Leviathan's Trench. She was certain these two would try to bond with her, in order to convince her to join the Artemis Familia. Cute, but it won't work on her. She had a deep bond with the Hestia Familia, and she won't leave that easily.

Next was one completely unexpected, but unwelcomed. A Heroic Spirit by the name of Asclepius. Hestia had said this man was a doctor and had a burning hatred for Apollo and wanted to help in order to spite the sun god. It was a given that in Pan-Human History, Apollo did murder his beloved mother in the past. Plus, any healer was more than welcome in this battlefront they were going for.

Next was only natural, the Queen of Britain Morgan le Fay and her mother. She was a complete powerhouse when it came to magic. If there was comparison, Hakuno was the inferior to her mother's own skill since she had time to hone everything she did. If they were to go all-out against each other, Hakuno would lose.

Then there was Barghest, Fairy Knight of the Round. Morgan said she had Gawain's Saint Graph bestowed upon her and in a sense a peace was in Hakuno's mind. Gawain was her older half-brother with Gareth-chan as her older half-sister (which the knight doesn't know about.). So it felt as if she had one of her older siblings nearby

Speaking of which, when Hakuno inquired of the knight's whereabouts, Nero said Gareth-chan went out to investigate War's actions to the land and see if anyone was in need of aid. Which was what it meant to be a knight as their duty was to defend the weak and smite the wicked. So she had faith in the knight's ability to handle the situation out there until the rematch with War.

But last but not least, Welf. Welf Crozzo was his full name and he recently converted to the Hestia Familia of his own will. She knew the smith was capable of handling himself, and it would be good to have someone capable of maintaining their weapons. He explained his reason of why he switched to their familia, and she felt touched by the loyalty he had for his friends. But she wondered what was with those magic swords for.

Sure, magic swords are useful in the short run due to their lifespans when used, but when did he get five of them? They had to be expensive to purchase and he's a level one, so he doesn't have the Development Skill to forge them.

If Lili wasn't deceiving the Apollo Familia by using her magic to disguise herself as Luan, she'd ask. But there are some things people needed to share when they're ready. But what surprised her was when Morgan spoke to Welf. Her mom was speaking something with the aspiring smith and Welf had a look of doubt. Whatever Morgan said next caused Welf to look at her in shocked surprise before cupping his chin in deep thought. Perhaps some sort of advice for him?

"I'm not too late to join, am I?" a muffled voice spoke up. It was a person with a hooded cape that extended to the lower back with the front of the hood covering most of their face with only the lips visible. Like Hakuno's own veil, as the figure wore forest green shorts, knee-high boots attached to delicate, feminine legs announced it was a female. The person was armed with a long, wooden sword and two short swords at the sides of her thighs.

But there was no mistaking that voice.

"Many thanks Lion-san, for Syr's sake, right?" Hakuno smiled softly. The hooded elf nodded her head as she got on to take a seat next to Bell as Riveria caught up to the Familia and Primo walked over to her godmother. "Here to wish your godchild luck?" she asked knowingly with a teasing smirk while Riveria gave the Holy Witch a look.

"I'll do my best godmother, wish me the best of luck!" Primo beamed as she hugged Riveria affectionately. While most elves have a select few that would actually permit them to have physical contact, but Riveria wasn't like other elves and with one arm hugged the child and used the other to ruffle with her hair gently.

"I'll be watching Primo, and I know you'll do your best out there." The high elf assured her.

Hakuno noticed her mother stiffen, a look of irritation on her face as Hakuno looked at her questionably. "…she reminds me of Artoria with that voice." Morgan muttered but it gave Hakuno a clearer picture now about two things. One, Riveria sounds like Artoria, like how Welf and Lucius have the same voice. Second, King Arthur is a woman due to how complex the relationship between Morgan is with her sibling made an interesting revelation at the gender reveal. "Perhaps a simple hex to make her swear in every sentence would-!"

Hakuno tugged at her mother's sleeve and shook her head. It caused Morgan to clear her throat as she averted her eyes. Yes, Hakuno didn't approve of what her mother was about to do and was subtle enough to let her mom know that wasn't cool at all. She's a better witch than that, she wouldn't do something that petty because they sound like her reckless younger sister.

"Can I trust that you'll keep her safe, Ryu Lion?" Riveria asked as the elf adventurer was completely serious in her response to her. When it comes to high elves, their words have weight to them that other elves can't ignore. Which at the same time had an effect of any elf in Apollo's Familia.

Because Primo is the goddaughter of Riveria, she's an extension of the royal family by choice and any harm to her is harm to the royal family, which is a complete no-no to all elves. This was going to be used as an additional advantage against the Apollo Familia for sure.

Finally, a member of Demeter's familia was walking towards Primo, holding a sack of both apples and peaches which the elf child gleefully accepted as she conversed with the man. Hakuno recalled him being popular with the orphan children and giving them apples when he visits. He was…shoot she never did get around asking for his name, did she? Well, he seemed trustworthy just by looking into his eyes. A genuinely kind person deep down so it was alright for Primo to interact with.

From what she heard from her daughter; this man was a retired mage that taught her a few things. What they were, Primo didn't say. She said that it'd be a surprise when the War Game begins. It only got Hakuno even more curious about what the man taught her daughter as they began making their trip towards the selected area for battle.

She quickly got the group of both members of the familia and new allies as a small holographic map appeared to display the valley they were going to. "Alright, before we begin, we're going to plan our first phase of attack and-!"

"Mom."

"Yes?"

"Can I be the first to fight?" Primo asked, getting looks from Hakuno, a curious one. "It's just…I've been having a bad week and a need to vent on the Apollo Familia for what they said about you and Lady Hestia." She explained while Hakuno had an undecipherable expression on her lips (since they were the only thing visible under the veil) before Morgan stepped in.

"She can handle it with someone to chaperone her. I trained her for a time, she's more than capable of handling herself if push comes to shove." Morgan assured her daughter, causing Hakuno to sigh.

"If that is the case…very well." She admitted before turning her attention to Ryu. "I'm trusting you to keep her safe in case anything goes wrong, or I will be very displeased." She warned as Ryu nodded her head.

"I understand Lady Hakuno. Lady Riveria also entrusted me with Primo's safety. I will protect her with my life if I must." Ryu answered with a serious expression to match her tone, much to Bell's concern.

"Ryu-san, isn't that a bit much?" Bell asked nervously.

"It is nothing Cranel-san, when one is entrusting the life of another to you, the responsibility is on you alone. That alone reveals how much one believes and trusts you. But Lady Hakuno, why me?" Ryu explained while questioning the Holy Witch's lips turn upwards into a small smile.

"Because despite the bad first interaction at the Hostess, you're generally a good person behind that stoic face. You went through the pains of farewells and sacrifices that affect you today and try to move forward." She explained, causing Ryu's eyes to widen in shock while Bell looked towards his Captain in surprise.

"Hakuno…how do you know this, exactly?" the rabbit boy asked while the smile Hakuno once had turned into a sad one.

"I saw those eyes once, many times in the mirror at the start of the new day before the Hestia Familia was formed." She answered. Morgan looked sad for her, genuinely sad for Hakuno as the fellow passengers now understood how she knew.

"Mom…" Primo whispered softly, slowly learning more about her mother's vague past in a different perspective. She too suffered pain and loss like she did, but it made her all the more dazzling because of how she always kept moving forward despite it. Perhaps one of these days, she'll ask her mom about her past when she's ready.

Bell was speechless, to learn both Ryu and Hakuno suffered the loss of people they cared for in their past made him wonder what it was that caused them to be so mature and…heroic.

Yes. They were heroic in a mature sense. Despite their losses, they carried on doing the right thing even when they are hurt. What drove them to do these things? What compelled them to keep fighting despite the pain they felt?

He realized that moment, he had a lot to learn from everyone around him if he ever wanted to be a hero. But he will learn, for every step on his journey will help him become the hero he sought to be.

*Denatus*

"Ouranos, may we have permission to use our Arcanum?" Hermes inquired to the vast chamber's ceiling. A few moments later.

"Permission granted."

With that, the gods allowed their divine power to flow through their bodies once again and the numerous Divine Mirrors reflected the battlefield to all over the world to see. One such reflection showed Primo standing alongside a hooded woman on the plains as the sun was blocked by the moon, creating a solar eclipse.

"Artemis! What is the meaning of this?!" Apollo demanded from his counterpart as she looked at him innocently.

"What do you mean? All I did was heed the prayer of a mortal praying to me to block the sun." she answered like it wasn't a big thing.

"It is a problem for me! I am the incarnation of the sun, one who's light touches all and provides the everlasting loving warmth for all!" Apollo argued while Hestia scoffed at that.

"Can you not humor a child's prayer for once? Besides, it is rather strange seeing you two in the same room and actually being civil for once." Hestia commented while tapping her fingers on a counter while the other gods laughed at that poor attempt of a joke.

"I AM GANESHA!"

Thus, the signal for the War Game has begun as everyone began to watch the show of a lifetime.

*Valley Plains*

"This is it Primo, you can do this…You have to. For mom's sake, for the Hestia Familia." Primo spoke to herself. She was trying to calm herself, but the tension was eating at her. Ryu looked at the child and tried to think of something before hearing footsteps from behind. It was Hakuno without her veil on, and she had something wrapped up in her hands. "Mom?" she asked in surprise while everyone across the world from Orario to small villages with gods watching the scene with a Divine Mirror.

"You forgot your bento. Even when the War Game is now starting, it is important to have a balanced meal to have the energy to fight." Hakuno told her as Primo's cheeks were dusted red.

"Mom?! You're supposed to be back at the base camp!" she shouted before looking away. "…but thanks." She said quietly to herself as Hakuno smiled softly at how bashful her daughter was. It only served to win over the motherly gods and mortals alike with how the relationship between the Holy Witch and her Elf Daughter.

Just when Hakuno was about to hand her the bento, an arrow flew and knocked it out of her hands as her screams caused Primo's head to snap towards the direction of where the arrow came from. It was a member of the Apollo Familia as a group of thirty as one of the archers was smirking while a few others were laughing. "…I just made it too." Hakuno sulked as she looked at her hands.

It was saddening (a certain red-haired knight strummed his harp in response), because it took her time to make a bento with her current condition with her prosthetics and all her hard work was now ruined.

Now this caused both motherly gods and mortals alike to boo the Apollo Familia for such a move, unaware of Primo's trembling form until her body was glowing with visible mana around her.

"Unforgivable." Primo gritted out. Her teeth were grinding against each other as she glared at the Apollo Familia and for once, they suddenly felt a dark foreboding feeling run down their spines. "My mom, who had lost her arms and just got replacements, worked hard to cook me something out of love for me despite her difficulties." She began as Ryu slowly took a few steps back, having a real bad feeling that she shouldn't be in the crossfire in whatever hellfire Primo would unleash.

She knew Hakuno's reputation for destructive magic and was certain that Primo learned similar things from the Holy Witch and did not want to be a victim of such spells.

"YOU. WILL. PAY." Primo stated as the world around them became a sky filled with a beautiful aurora. A Bounded Field, Primo casted a Bounded Field to lock the group from Apollo's Familia with the three from Hestia.

"Witness the magecraft from a Mage of Chaldea."

The minute those words left Primo's lips, Hakuno's eyes widen in shock.

"Stars. Cosmos. Gods. Animus. Antrum. Unbirth. Anima, Animusphere."

From his apple orchard, Kirschtaria Wodime smiled at his student's resolve and cheered for her as the Evening Bell tolls for the Apollo Familia. The Hestia Familia strikes back.
