CHAPTER 1.

FIVE YEARS LATER.

Mama where are we going? Asked a little five-year-old naruto asked his mother which he is looking up to while they are walking through an empty path in the underworld. Naruto could be the size of an average 5-year-old with his wild black hair that is kept short. He was wearing a white long-sleeve shirt with blue shorts and sneakers.

We are going to see an old friend of mine he is a formal dragon king and he is going to help you learn how to fight and defend yourself as well as help you with your powers ophis said as she explained to her son.

Ophis was in the same form she was five years ago and the form had grown on her this is her favorite form. She plans on keeping this as her permanent main form since it was the form her son recognized as her.

Oh Ok mama, naruto said with a cheerful smile on his face as he keep looking around in curiosity. As they were continuing down the path that led to a mountain area, naruto looked in awe at the big mountains ophis just smiled and giggled a little because of the face naruto made.

Now, where is that dragon every time I try to find someone they always take their sweet time getting found ophis pouted and her face turned red in anger, naruto looked back at his mother and then laughed a little at how cute his mother looked.

Ophis looked at him then huffed and looked away but smiled a little but not letting him see.

She scanned the area then sensed his high magic and then smiled, come on Naru-chan I found the person we are looking for. Naruto gave a cute glare at his mother for saying his name like that it was too cute he always wanted to be known as strong and dominant and powerful but the way his mother said his name sounded too cute ophis then grabbed naruto's hand and she snapped her fingers and they disappeared in purple particles.

They appeared on a cliff the next second.

Naruto rubbed his eyes because they got itchy and he had to hold his head a bit because of the slight headache he got when teleporting for the first time. But as soon as hes vision got back he widen his eyes that he and his mother isn't alone anymore.

On the side of the cliff was a giant purple dragon that was staring out at the surroundings almost oblivious to the rest of the world it was nowhere as big as great red but was still very big. The dragon was around 50 meters in length and 15 meters in height his wings lay proudly beside him and he had a whitish underbelly his eyes did not have any iris, just pure black for a pupil.

As they got closer naruto looked hesitantly but he wanted to look strong and not scared hes a dragon, not a nobody like he used to be so he calmed his breathing and just looked at the dragon with a determined look on his face.

Ophis coughed which got the dragon's attention.

When the dragon turned to look who coughed he saw ophis standing there looking at him his eyes went into shock and disbelief.

Lady ophis, said the dragon he quickly got up and bowed to her.

Hello, tannin it has been some time has it not said ophis?

It has been centuries, but where have you been? You just went up and left and had many dragons looking for you many believed you no longer exist.

I simply went back to my home in the dimensional gap though I'm having trouble because of my roommate that decided to move in I will get rid of him eventually.

Ophis then explain to tannin what she has been doing these past centuries and where she has been, tannin did the same naruto found out that he was a formal dragon king and was restricted as a devil since he apparently had no interest in the dragon apples since certain dragons had to eat to survive. Though he had devil blood running in him he is still mainly a dragon and his form is still a dragon but now he had the power and abilities of a devil now.

As they spoke tannin finally notice naruto's excited child look.

Tannin raised an eyebrow but asked, lady ophis who is the little one he smells like a dragon, he took a quick sniff at naruto which made him shiver a bit but he stood his ground he don't want to be seen as weak. Tannin looked amused by his display and can tell he was scared after all his shaking legs told him that.

Lady ophis who is this young one smells like a dragon he said with a quick sniff of naruto which made him glare cutely at the dragon which made him smirk.

Ophis smiled as she rubbed his head gently which made naruto stop glaring and started to focus on his mother's touch.

Tannin I would like you to meet my son naruto, she said and it cause tannin to almost get a heart attack.

An s-son? You had a c-child? He said stuttering not believing what he had just heard.

Ophis nodded. Yes, he is a human-shaped dragon like I am he will have my abilities tho he might get more who knows if he does I will have to take him to baka red so we can train in his abilities so we're fine about that, happens, he will have the ability to transform into a dragon and have the basic element that all dragons have possibly more.

Another element now that's rare even for high-ranking dragons but then again with having a dragon god as his mother it should not be surprising if he does get more than one element tannin said but inwardly he was gathering his barrings because it is rare for a god-like being to has a child.

Though he will have more powers as he grows he does have baka red blood running in his veins she said making naruto frown up at her.

Mama papa red is not a baka he is the coolest he takes me flying all the time, He said innocently though ophis pouted.

Naru-chan that stupid red dragon is not your papa, he may have saved you when you were a baby you may have some of his blood in your veins but he is not your papa.

It infuriated her to no end when naruto started calling her rival papa she asked him not to but it was already too late, naruto already liked hanging out with the dragon it seem it is a mutual feeling towards great red who developed a soft spot for her son which is odd given red bad boy attitude.

Plus great red always rubs it in her face any chance he got.

Tannin meanwhile realized who they are talking about and felt as if his blood had turned cold as ice, he has a potion of great red power in him, he thought as he could sense a part of great red in the boy. A child of the dragon god who has the blood of the true dragon running through him his potential is enormous.

Tannin knew now that this little boy in front of him was going to be somebody great, someone extremely powerful maybe at the level of his mother maybe higher.

As you already have figured out baka red gave him a potion of his power and flesh due to circumstances that I will explain later. If trained and taught to use his powers and growing strength he could easily become far more powerful than the archangels, the four maou's even if they don't really deserve my respect really. And the dragon kings and the annoying heavenly dragons he will be able to match mine and red power possibly more, ophis explained and tannin nodded at this information.

What is it you want me to do lady ophis? He asked

Train him and teach him the way of a dragon I want him to train everywhere the underworld heaven the human world Asgard Kyoto everywhere I want him to be strong stronger than me that is my number one goal right now when he is at age 10 that is when I and baka red will train him in the dimensional gap we agreed on it. I don't want him to be in my group when he is older honestly I'm his mother I know how dangerous the stuff my group will end up doing I want him to forge his own path and create his own bonds, I agree that these bonds people and talk about can make one strong that's what I heard of it before if he wants to make his own group stop me I won't be angry honestly he is my son, after all, I let him do what he pleases after all he is the only being I love she said with tears in her eyes.

You are as strong as some of the satan's so you will be a great mentor so make him as strong as possible.

Tannin had a gobsmack expression honestly he never knew lady ophis will show such emotions.

Of course lady ophis it's an honor to train the child of a dragon god.

Ophis smiled and looked at naruto which told him to move forward and show some respect to him, which made him pout but quickly vanishes from his face so he will listen to his mother.

Naruto walked up to the dragon, hello Mr tannin I am naruto it's nice to meet you, naruto fished with a small bow.

It is an honor to meet you as well naruto no need to bow.

I know but my mom said to respect your elders unless there annoying and stupid which you are not.

Which made tannin chuckle a bit, ophis just smiled a little at naruto.

You have raised a polite young man lady ophis.

Not really he is really adventurous and a hot head so there are times when he might start exploring so be careful of him and his pranks to I remember the time when he pranked red where he colored hes scales pink he didn't like not looking like a bad boy or whatever he was saying.

Tannin just looked at Naruto, who smiled innocently, which made it all the way worse; it made him shiver a bit.

Tannin I must warn you I don't want the devils or angels or whatever faction to try to persuade Naru-chan I don't want him in their business yet maybe after me and red train him he can do whatever he wants then.

Naruto then grabs her hand tightly and then smiled up at her while she looked down and smiled at him and crouched down and kiss his forehead.

Naruto looked at the two innocently but he smiled he loved this life better than the other he wonders sometimes what was going on in his old world. Maybe the universe he doesn't know what to call it is whatever.

Before I began this side of things I have to tell you that 3 years in dxd is 1 year in naruto and 10 years in the dimensional gap is 1 year in the outside world.

(the day after naruto's death Konoha)

In the streets, everyone was celebrating menma and Hinata was happy they didn't have to worry about the demon now, mito gained a crush on Sasuke she starts to stalk him minato heard the news and he was honestly conflicted he didn't like naruto but he was doing this for the shinobi world kushina well she was heartbroken but she had to train her son and daughter harder since she believes that an enemy ninja did it so she told minato but minato didn't tell the truth how he died.

Then 3 months later the elder toad had a vision that scared him greatly even more than Kaguya herself and also confused him as well.

There's nothing but destruction in the leaf village we see an army killing everyone there with smirks on their faces then he sees a vision of minato and kushina and the sannins and mito and menma looking at two figures with fearful expressions when he looked at them he gains a fearful expression as well with one but the other he has no idea why they are scared of this one but who knows but when he sees the other villages they are combined in one and there are talking about a king and sees statues of dragons and symbols of the infinite sign.

The elder told suddenly woke up breathing heavily and with sweat on his forehead.

Gamamaru-same what's wrong, he suddenly looks up and sees two small old toads, and he breathes a bit, I do not know what's going on but I do know the shinobi world is gonna change and I don't know who is the child of prophecy anymore let us go tell our summoners

Pa and ma nodded and did hand signs and reverse summoned minato and Jiraiya who looked confused but started to bow since they see the elder toad is up.

Jiraiya-boy and Minato-boy I have bad and good news which one do you want to hear first?

They looked at each other first but they might as well get the bad news first.

We would want the bad news first gamamaru-sama said minato Jiraiya just nodded.

The elder toad signs at this but looked at them.

Well, the bad news is I see a vision that the leaf is going to be attacked by an army and they do not look like any of the village's ninjas, to be honest, they don't even look like ninja's in the first place.

Jiraiya and minato got quiet for a bit but still asked.

What about the good news said Jiraiya.

Well, to be honest, I saw a vision that the other villagers formed together to create peace, and to be honest that's all I got but I do not know who this child of prophecy is anymore.

Minato was confused he thought that menma or mito is the child of prophecy they both had the nine tails so he is confused he will have to think about this.

Jiraiya is really confused so he thought for sure menma was it but he will have to think about this as well.

You two can leave now I will be busy trying to figure this out, they nodded and disappeared in a cloud of smoke.
