Tales and Revelations Part 1
In the turtles lair, Master Splinter was finishing his favorite soap opera and at the same time hoped his sons would be ok. He knew they were more than capable of taking care of themselves, but with new threats rising, the rat couldn't help but worry. At least they gained new allies in the form of Ben the Azure Dragon and Maggie the Red Phoenix. Splinter had been told of the White Tiger by his sons and requested that they meet at a later date, which the turtles agreed. Splinter also warned them to be wary of the Black Tortoise before they went on patrol as he had a feeling he's somewhere in the city.
Splinter would be proven correct as he heard the entrance open. The rat then grabbed his walking stick and walked over to meet them.
"My sons. How was your night? Did you bump into any trouble-?" Asked Splinter before he saw what or rather who's with his sons.
The turtles were accompanied by the Four Stars, Jet the White Tiger and Sam the Black Tortoise among them. Splinter also saw the turtles were a little bruised and battered as well as cut, with Raphael having a claw wound across his plastron, with the hothead being carried by the shoulders by Leo and Ben.
"What happened!?" Asked Splinter.
"Well to sum it up, we were getting our shells kicked." Explained Mikey.
"Until this Tortoise here leaped in and saved us and took down our assailants single-handedly." Donnie finished pointing at Sam who smiled.
"Your sons were very lucky I was around, sir." Sam said bowing to the rat master.
"I am forever grateful am in your debt young warrior." Splinter replied bowing back with a smile.
"We got to get him to my medical room, Raph's wound looks bad." Said Donnie.
"No need, Don. Remember, I have just recently learned a technique that would take care of that injury." Said Ben. "I just need some water."
"Take him to the couch." Commanded Splinter. "Michelangelo, bring Ben a cup of water."
The mutants complied. Raph was laid on the couch while Mikey handed Ben a cup of water.
"It was the Foot, Sensei. They're back." Explained Raph, shocking the old rat.
The turtles then explained how the Foot were novices seeking to prove themselves by trying to beat them and aided by their supervisors.
"This one newbie, a blonde chick, she did this to me." Said Raph. "Man was she tough. Had a temper too. Much like me."
"Yeah in an alternate universe, you two would have been the best of pals." Said Mikey, earning him deadpanned looked from everyone.
"Hmm, still, it's not unheard of that warriors were to be sent to face highly experienced enemies as a rite of passage." Said Splinter.
"All right. Please give me some space." Ben said as he knelt next to Raph with the water.
The dragon telekineticly took the water from the cup and planted it on Raphs wound. Raph winced from the sudden chill.
"Relax." Said Ben.
The water then glowed and after a few moments, Ben removed the liquid and everyone saw the wound has healed! The turtles and Splinter were struck with awe at this. The rest of the Stars were only slightly surprised.
"Wow! Didn't know that was possible!" Said Donnie.
"Dude, you are just full of surprises!" Said Mikey.
"Indeed he is, turtles warrior." Said a voice coming from the entrance. "As do the rest of the Stars."
Everyone looked over to see Lei, Ying, along with a man and a woman standing at the entrance.
"Uncle Lei. You're here?" Asked Ben.
"Aunt Ying? How did you find us?" Asked Maggie.
"Dad?!" Exclaimed Jet.
"Mom?! How did you find out about this?" Asked Sam.
"We have our ways, sweetheart. In more ways than you think." Replied Ying.
"We're all connected to something big, nephew." Said Lei.
"And since you Four are finally assembled, it's time you and your friends know the truth." Said the man.
"Well said, Mr Bao." Ying said.
Everyone sat in the dinner table. The turtles had hot chocolate while everyone else had tea. Leo was the first to speak.
"Allow me to introduce ourselves to you three. Im Leonardo-." Leo began.
"We know who you are, Leonardo, as well as your brothers and adoptive father." Said the woman.
"That we do, Mrs Mei." Said Ying.
"How do you even know about us?" Asked Donnie?
"We are part of an organization dedicated to protecting the people from the triads and other shadowy forces from our home country." Explained Lei.
"As well as preparing our mystical warriors here for the future battles that will soon come according to prophecy." Explained Ying.
"Battles?" Questioned Mikey.
"Prophecy?" Ben also questioned.
"We will get back to that." Bao said before looking at jet. "Son, care to tell us how you died and returned as the White Tiger?"
Jet looked uneasy.
"Alright, I'll tell. It began a couple years ago. My mom was driving me home from my high school football championship game. During the journey home, we were hit by a van driving by the triads. They were waiting for us, and we were dragged into their vehicle where we were tortured and interrogated. They accused my mother of containing a list of shipments. She repeatedly denied everything. And they broke our legs and arms, and ribs every time we denied any list. Finally they had enough and began to suffocate us with plastic bags over our heads, and then bludgeoned our skulls minutes later to make sure we're dead. They then took us somewhere discreet in a junk yard to bury us. A while later, I awoke in the darkness and burst out of the ground with a loud roar, reborn as the White Tiger. That's when my dad found me, and took me somewhere safe underneath an abandoned factory, and I've been training ever since." Explained Jet.
The Stars and their relatives held their head down in sadness and Bao especially had a few tears fall. The turtles and Splinter were especially horrified and angry at what happened to the tiger.
"Jeez! Those bastards gotta pay!" Declared Raph.
"Easy Raph. Now's not the time for rage." Leo said.
"Well said Leonardo." Said Splinter.
"Anyway, like the rest of the Stars, I can manipulate certain elements." Explained Jet. "I in particular, can control earth. With a little help from the Earth Scroll."
Jet pulled out the Scroll of Earth from his pocket. The container was leathery brown.
"Wait, how did you even get it?" Asked Leo.
"I got it during my first patrol. Which was a few weeks ago." Explained Jet.
Two weeks ago.
At a harbor near Chinatown, there was a huge, bulky triad enforcer making a deal with a smuggler. The latter was holding a small case. And the triad wasn't looking too happy. Next to the two was a black car with a driver and a single passenger in the back seat patiently waiting for the deal to end.
"You're really starting to piss me off here." Said the thug.
"Either I get the dough, or you don't get the treasure." Replied the smuggler sternly.
"Fuck it. Fine! I'm transferring the money to your account." The thug said gruffly as he pulled out his phone and tapped some commands to transfer the money.
Unbeknownst to the criminals, Jet was watching the meeting from a rooftop a couple feet from them in his white/gray hoodie disguise.
"Dad's right. They're trading it now. But I gotta wait till the triad bastards are alone so I can snatch the scroll." Thought Jet as he continued to watch.
The thug had just finished transferring the money to the smugglers phone and the latter received the notification. The smugger smirked and handed him the case.
"Pleasure doing business with you, man." Said the smuggler eccentrically before walking away.
The gangster just grumbled and walked back to the car. He got into the passenger seat right next to the other thug.
"Why the long face, man?" Asked the thug.
"Greedy son of a bitch wanted ten grand in exchange for the package." Replied the grumpy thug.
"Ohhh, that could put a dent in the bosses wallet." Said the second thug.
"The boss wants that trinket no matter what, ok?" Said the thug frustratingly. "Let's just get the hell out of here!"
The car then drove off and jet followers them, hopping from rooftop to rooftop.
In the car, the bulky thug got on the phone and called Qin. It didn't take a moment for the latter to answer.
"This better be good news." Said the boss threateningly.
"Yeah boss, I got the package. But I had to give away a shit ton of money to get it!" The thug reported.
"I don't care about the money! The package is way more important!" Qin responded.
"Whatever you say, boss. We're on our way back to headquarters." Replied the thug. "We'll see you in a minute."
The thug then hung up and looked at his friend beside him.
"God just what is so important about this trinket anyway?" Asked the bulky gangster.
"Other than it's really old and priceless, no idea." Answered the other thug.
"Well something tells me the package is more than just a priceless artifact. Much more. Ten grand better be worth it." Said the gangster.
Suddenly, a large rock came flying at the front of the car, smashed through the windshield and struck the driver! The car loses control and eventually flips upside down. The two thugs in the passenger seats managed to crawl out with the package.
"What the fuck was that?!" Said the large thug.
"No idea. I'll check on the driver." Replied the second thug as he walks over to check on the driver only to find that he's dead with a large gash on his head.
"Shit, he's dead!" Said the thug. "We might need to call for a new ride."
Just then the thug was suddenly struck in the face by a rock out of nowhere, knocking him unconscious. The bulky thug immediately took out a mace and looked around furiously.
"Fucking kids! You know better than to mess with the Triads!" Shouted the gangster.
"Delinquents aren't responsible for your little fuck up." Said a voice coming from an alley.
Jet came out of the dark alleyway still in his hooded disguise calmly walking up to the gangster. The latter just scoffed.
"You? Just one little punk?" Asked the gangster.
"A punk who's about to kick your ass if you don't give me the package." Demanded the disguised mutant.
"Fat chance, little shit!" Replied the thug before preparing to swing his mace.
Jet caught the weapon and drop kicked his opponent in the chest, knocking him back and making him drop his mace. The enraged gangsters then tried to swing at Jet and managed to hit his face, but the tiger was unfazed. In fact, the gangster cried out in pain as he pulled his fist back to reveal bloody knuckles.
"Just what the hell are you!?" Asked the thug.
"Just a guy out for Triad blood." Answered Jet before taking him down with a double tiger claw strike.
Jet then check the gangsters for the scroll and found it under his jacket. He opened the case and obtained the scroll within. He then escaped the area with his prize by hopping to the rooftops before anyone especially the police showed up.
The turtles and Splinter were amazed by this. As were the rest of the Stars.
"That was very skilled." Said Leo.
"Yup, especially when you took a punch from a large brute only to get his hand busted." Said Raph.
"And that you took him down with just two moves? That was awesome!" Said Mikey.
"And you had the power of Earth at your disposal. Very resourceful." Commented Donnie.
"Well you can be damn sure we got a few more stories for you guys." Jet said before losing at Sam. "Right, Sam?"
"Yeah. Still haven't told my story." Said Sam. "And maybe you five can tell us your stories after I tell mine?"
"We can agree to that." Answered Splinter with a warm smile.
And that's that. For now.
We now know Jets backstory and that earth is his element.
But what is Sam's story?
And what is the true purpose of the Four Stars?
And what tales would the turtles tell their new friends?
Find out next chapter!
This is MergingEmperor7, bowing out.
