Sorry for the long wait everyone. Needed time off because of mental burnout from writing. This snippet has foreshadowing of something I planned for best elf girl Ryu in the future and to celebrate the Calamity Arc of Danmachi Season IV
Onishin Tsukitenshi: Blame Danmachi Memoria Freese app game for that. Crossovers gave inspiration for a multi-series crossover.
Nesthor5000: No. Absolutely not. I have things planned out and I am not using your suggestions or ideas in my story. You drop these stat sheets both in a PM and review. Use them in your own fic because I'm doing things my way.
Freya sipped her wine as she looked down from her chambers in Babel. Only Horn, her attendant and one of her closest children from her Familia beside her Ottar. The girl had handed her goddess a file and Freya looked at it curiously. She asked for files pertaining to Hakuno Kishinami's actions in the Dungeon, hoping to find clues to something she missed. Besides what was already recorded, and the revelations of Asherah's imprisonment that led to the creation of the Dungeon in the first place. There was something that her child, Allen had discovered in the past involving the Holy Witch. The discovery of a sword in the Lower Floors.
It was no ordinary sword, and it might prove a key importance in the future. Especially the etching on the blade still there. It wasn't in Kione or Hieroglyphs, but in the language of Spirits. The power was long gone from the weapon, but the location was specific and special. It was a tomb dedicated to the Astrea Familia.
That interested Freya, as she was well aware that Gale was the last living member of the once great Familia, and that the Dungeon had a tomb dedicated to them was surprising. But since Asherah holds complete control of the Dungeon, perhaps she found respect for the Familia and had one such tomb when they died. The file indicated this was before the duel between the Sword Princess when Loki threw down a War Game against the Hestia Familia a few months back. When the girl went to train for the fight. She had gone to the Water City to train and discovered the tomb and weapon within.
She examined the file and noticed a writing on it, clearly Hakuno's own note on the Guild File that caught her eye. It was a worn but preserved letter attached to it.
A TALE THAT'S DIFFERENT FROM THE REST: AS JUSTICE RACES AGAINST DEATH'S CLOCKS.
THE GALE'S MOST TRUSTED MUST FACE EVIL'S PARADOX.
I knew this day would come after I joined the Astrea Familia. I fought enough monsters and bested some of the most villainous people to give the people hope. My inevitable death in this Dungeon as was foretold will not discourage me. The creature the Dungeon created in response did well in killing us one at a time.
Don't worry (not that you do much). I gave that monster one hell of a fight before I succumbed to the injuries it gave me. One of its arms now gone for what it did to Kaguya's own was an achievement I couldn't be prouder of.
I lament the fact I'll never reach your heights Lunar Witch, for the Orario that thrives even after the defeat of Evillus was something I sought to make a reality. The city you have today is different from mine. That promising future I dedicated my whole life to make a reality, I couldn't finish.
What is left of me as the monsters coming for the rest of us is this sword. Hephaistos and Goibinui both claim a fairy forged it. They recognized the craftsmanship and writings anywhere. To think you made this in my childhood for me as I watched you practice smithing. Built from scraps of broken swords, flames of stars, and sheer will on a makeshift forge on top of ley lines. When you gifted the blade to me and taught me how to fight, I swore I would make it my duty to follow your example.
I'm still trying.

Freya closed the file and took a deep breath. Time travel. Hakuno would one day set in motion the future Captain of the Astrea Familia's in motion to become the woman she was when she was alive. That power was something only a select few gods were capable of wielding. This was immutable, a paradox that must happen no matter what in order to preserve the fabric of time. The Norn Sisters had told her of this when she sought their aid in finding her Odr. They couldn't and wouldn't help her because of the repercussions it could cause to the timestream.
She felt something stirring on the horizon, instinct from her aspect as a goddess of war. Conflict was drawing near. She heard that soldiers of the Empire were captured trying (and utterly failing) to kidnap Hakuno. It brought a smile to Freya's lips. That little witch was a magnet for trouble and has never ceased to rid of any boredom with her around.
"Horn, get the shopping list ready for an emergency exodus. Something tells me that Orario won't be safe anymore for us or the people." Freya ordered.
"As you wish, Lady Freya." Horn bowed her head before turning to leave as Freya looked at her wine glass. She finished it all in one gulp before looking out the window. The starlit soul was gone for the moment, as her other interest, the pure transparent one was off on his own adventures. Her favorite thing to do today as she observes the souls of all down below. She savored it, because Orario was most likely to be attacked again by a more manageable problem.
She would not take it well when innocents suffer from it, so preparations must be made.
