A/N: This One-shot also involves a character of another fandom which you'll know by the end. I did my best to be accurate on the characters so please forgive me if they seem a bit OOC. Still haven't finished Trials of Apollo but I'll get there (Eventually). So if it's also AU, I'm sorry. But I hope you enjoy this one-shot. (Another Author's Note at the end)

Rating: Teen (Slight swearing)

Story:

(? POV)

I love car trips, the empty road; the sound of the engine of my baby; my sweet tunes on the radio. The only thing missing is some company.

Of course, there's my brother but he's back at the hotel while I went to do some grocery shopping for tonight.

I know what you're thinking, "Why are we in a hotel?"

Well for starter, we DO have a home, it's in Kansas. We're just visiting the area for reasons. The reason we were in the neighborhood are some personal reasons. That's all I can say. Anyways, as I was driving down the road, I noticed someone. A young girl, around 16 years; holding a bag luggage and a backpack. She has long auburn hair and wearing a pink jacket.

She seems to be walking out here in the middle of nowhere.

Normally I don't pick up hitchhikers, hard to trust people nowadays.

But, there was something about this girl that felt... safe.

Weird... huh?

I figured, why the hell not? I mean, I still got time before I make it back to the hotel and prep for tonight. Plus, I can't let a girl be out in the middle of nowhere on her own.

I rolled down my window and yelled out, "Hey! You need a lift?"

The girl ignored me and kept walking. She seems like she has a lot on her mind; yet she seems like she's about to explode too.

"Look... kid. you're about many miles away from the nearest town. Just tell me where you going and I'll drop you off.

The girl sighed and then looked back at me.

"No offense, sir, But I'm having a really bad day right now," She said. "I missed my stop to Indianapolis, my wallet and phone gone missing and my feet are wet! So if you pull any funny business on me, I will not hesitate, understood?!"

I was just speechless right there. I know women are feisty, but this one has the look that says "I can kill monsters with just a look".

"O-okay than... look, just hop on in and I'll take you to your stop. Here," I took out my phone and gave it to her. "You can call your parents or legal guardians, or whoever the hell you're supposed to meet."

The girl sighed and hopped in, grabbing the phone to call someone.

Afterwards, I went and call my brother, telling that I'm gonna be late.

He didn't sound mad, just impatient. Of course he would be, we had something important to do tonight. Can't miss it.

"So," I started. "Why were you out there walking to Indianapolis?"

The girl sighed and answered, "I was on my way back to Band Camp."

Okay, I chuckled there. I mean, a pretty girl like her? In band camp? I'd kill to see her play the tuba. It would've been hilarious.

"Please tell me you played the tuba?"

The girl scoffed. "You sound just like him..."

"Him? Oh. let me guess... your boyfriend?"

The girl was quiet, but I can tell from her eyes. This boy... he's special to her.

"Yeah... though... I don't know how much longer..."

That did not sound good. Though it's not my business to ask.

"Sorry to hear that... boys will be boys."

"No... it's not on him!"

The girl replied and I looked at her and saw. I saw her about to go to tears.

"This whole summer... I mean, I had fun but... it wasn't the same without him. And now I think he's gonna break up with me because we always fight constantly, never to seem to open up about ourselves and I think I'm pushing him away. And..."

She starts tearing up.

"I'm gonna be alone... again."

I'd try to calm her down, but I mean... what can I say? I'm no saint, I've charmed PLENTY of women... but this? I mean... I'm no father figure. And my old man? He was a hard-ass. I mean yeah... he loved me and my brother, but he was always so hard on us. Making sure we did things right, trying to make sure we do not to get in the way.

But still... he was family. And you can't turn your back on family.

"Look... kid. I'm gonna be honest with you. I'm no expert in love but... what makes you so sure he's gonna leave you? Is he popular? So handsome that any girl would want him? Funny?"

The girl looked at me funny and then started laughing.

"Him? Handsome? Not in his wildest dreams."

Ouch... that's got to hurt.

"But... he is funny... in a way. And he's good with machines... too good. He can probably fix this hunk a junk and make it better."

"Hey! Don't talk to my baby like that!" I yelled. "She's the best there is and nothing is gonna beat that."

The kid was smiling. I guess I was making progress.

"Anyways, we started dating about a year ago. Though lately, we been fighting a lot. It's like we couldn't have a proper conversation anymore. And it scares me... It felt like I'm slowly returning to that island."

"Island?" I asked.

"Nothing... just a metaphor. Anyways, things aren't looking so great and... I'm scared."

"Alright... lets start back to the beginning," I said. "First, how did you two started dating in the first place? How did you meet?"

"It's a long story..."

"Kid, we're about a couple hours away from Indianapolis. We got time."

The girl told me her story.

About a boy who blew up her dining table; who calls her Sunshine as a joke; who fixed all of her broken stuffs for no reason; who was amazed at her skills at weaving and cooking; who dreamt of owning a garage shop.

A garage shop with HER.

the boy who promised to come back for her.

And he did.

I'm no expert on love, but I mean c'mon. that's freaking romantic as hell. If this was a movie or a book, I'd cry and demand the writer to give this couple a happy closure. (Don't tell my brother... I will hunt you down if you do)

"And then he came back... and the rest is history."

"So," I started. "Let me get this straight. This boy changed your life, after the many boys you encounter. And he was the first one to ever came back?"

The girl was quiet but nodded.

"Then that's your problem."

"What?"

"Kid... you're in love for the first time. Now sure, you did encounter many boys before him; but, he was the one that made you feel more than happy, right?"

"I don't understand?"

"Look... love is..."

I thought long and hard on that word.

Love.

it's simple... yet powerful. It comes in many shapes and sizes. There's no such thing as the perfect love.

"Love isn't just something that makes you happy. It also makes you mad or sad; you laugh over silly jokes or scream over simple mistakes. You'd pull pranks on each other or reassure that everything is gonna be okay... even if it's not. You'd be by each other's side and not say a word... and yet, a million words was spoken. Because by the end of the day... it's just you and him. Against the whole world."

The girl was silent yet listening on every word.

"I'm no love expert... but this boy sounds like he's madly in love with you. But he can't express it so well because-"

"Because... it's his first time..."

"Being in love. Yeah," I finished.

"And because it's you guy's first time, you don't know what to do. You don't know how to be a proper couple. And that's fine, because after every fight, every arguments you two would have. By the end of day, you'll realized just how much you have in common, and that no one can replace that strong trust toward each other. So long story short, Love isn't just what makes you feel happy. It's what makes you feel alive in every way possible. Both in the good and bad times. Anyone can find happiness easily... But love? You have to earn it; through the good and bad times. It'll be hell, yeah; but... once you get through that hell... nothing can break you."

She was quiet for a moment, probably thinking long and hard about what I said.

Wouldn't blame her.

That was the first time I talked about anything about love. I mean, how could I know love? I've been with many women, so I know how to charm a lady. but love? I don't know crap about that.

So I thought about something related to love.

Family.

I remembered the day my old mad heard my mom's voice in over 30 years. The moment they reunited... let's just say it was the way this girl looked the moment she mentioned her boyfriend.

So yeah, I'm no expert.

But then again... who is?

We managed to reach Indianapolis and she told me where to drop her by. She called it the Waystation. Whole placed looked like it came from England.

"Thank you for giving me a ride... and helping me with my other problem."

"No problem, kid. But what is your name, by the way? I never did asked."

The girl took out her hand for a handshake.

"Calypso... My name is Calypso."

That name sounded familiar... might need to ask my brother about that.

"And you?" She asked.

I shook her hand and replied.

"Dean... Dean Winchester."

She smiled. It was a lovely smile...

Reminds me of mom.

"Do you think... I can make it right... with him?"

I chuckled. "Kid... trust me... from what you told me, this kid sounds like he'd willing to die for you. He's willing to put the effort, so you have to as well."

Her eyes sharpened, as if her determination was clear and she knows what she has to do.

"Thank you, Mr. Winchester."

"Just call me Dean. Now go, don't let your family worry you any more."

Calypso smiled and walked out of the car with her stuff.

Suddenly my phone ring and I answered.

"Hello?"

"Dean?"

It was my brother.

"Hey Sammy."

"Dean, where the hell are you? It's almost late."

"Sorry, just dropped off the kid. But quick question, does the name Calypso sound familiar to you?"

"Calypso? Why?"

"Just answer the question."

"Uh, Y-yeah. It's a familiar name. Calypso is this Greek titan goddess who fought alongside the titans against Zeus and his siblings. After the war, she was imprisoned on an island; now and then, she'd encounter heroes and she'd be forced to fall in love. Except, every hero already have someone so she was forced to be heartbroken every time they leave."

"That's one hell of a punishment," I said.

As Sam was talking, I saw the girl stopping at the front door. A boy came out, young Hispanic kid, wearing a tool-belt. I figured that was the boyfriend, because the two immediately hugged for a long time. I managed to get a good look at the kid. Calypso was right, he was no where near as handsome... as me. Yet... this girl loves him. And the way the boy looks at her.

It was just the same as the moment my old man her mom's voice after so long.

Then I remembered something. She said something about returning to that island...

"Son of a bitch..."

"Dean?"

"Sammy... I think I just met her?

"What?! You're serious?

"I think so. I mean, she literally said her name is Calypso, and the way she was talking about how she met her boyfriend sounds almost accurate to the lore."

"Wait... boyfriend?"

"Yes Sammy! The titan goddess was in my car, crying about being a proper girlfriend because, apparently, it's her first relationship.

Sam was stuttering, but pulled it together.

"Okay then? You think she's a threat?"

I've seen my share of monsters, good and bad. Calypso though, it's hard to say. How do we know she doesn't have any plans for world domination? To finish what daddy couldn't do? Or to get revenge against the gods?

I don't really know.

Until I saw her family, two women and a girl, walked out the entrance and hugged both the boy and Calypso.

It wasn't a forced hug, or a fake one.

It was a real family hug.

"No, Sammy. I think she's gonna be okay."

"...Dean?"

"I'll explain later. I'm on my way back to the motel with the ingredients. You sure this will help us find those witches?"

"I mean, that's what Rowena's book said."

I sighed.

"This better work, Sammy. I better have not gotten into that grocery shopping for no reason."

I started the engine.

"I'm on my way Sam, see you in a bit."

I ended the call and shift the gear into drive.

"Back into the family business."

THE END

A/N: Okay... so I got this idea after some thinking from my previous post and realized I forgot one thing, love. I'm no expert on love, I haven't even experienced it myself. I just seen many kinds of love in many places. Love is just... a complicated emotion.

Which led to this one-shot.

I added Dean Winchester because... well, after reading the PJO and HoO series, I needed more of the supernatural. So my friend recommended the show, Supernatural. And since then, I spent half a year watching 14 seasons of Supernatural and finished Season 15 just a couple days after it ended.

The PJO universe was my childhood from Middle school to High School. And Supernatural was me growing up from that series.

Anyways, thank you for reading my one-shot.

Again, sorry if the characters are OOC. It's been a while since I seen Supernatural and I tried to mimic Dean's personality as best as possible. Also, the setting takes place in between in season 15 and after ToA. Of course, it's an AU supernatural where sam and Dean exist the PJO universe.

Keep Calm... and Carry On...
