Last Time on Dragon Ball Super:
A mysterious girl, Calypso, landed on Capsule Corps, seeking help against her father, who is a scientist working for the villainous Frieza. A mechanic, named Leo Valdez, has taken this girl in to his home and has been repairing her ship so that she can continue escaping from her father's wrath. The two have been getting along exponentially, to a point that it was more than just a mere friendship. However, another spaceship has arrived to Earth. And Goku and Vegeta has arrived at the landing spot to confront this mysterious person. But who is this person? Is it Calypso's father, looking for his daughter? Find out now.
Episode: The Sinister Scientist has arrived! Goku and Vegeta vs. Atlas!
Calypso ran toward the hangar as fast as she could. She enter in and yelled, "You guys!"
Leo and Bulma look behind and responded.
"Calypso?" Leo said. "What's wrong?"
"He's here!" She yelled.
Bulma and Leo know who she's talking about. They all ran outside and saw Goku and Vegeta looking up.
"Vegeta! Goku! Is it true?" Bulma asked.
"Yeah," Goku replied. "I told Dende to keep an eye out for him in case he does shows up."
"THEN WHY IS HERE NOW?!" Bulma yelled at Goku.
"Ouch, Bulma, not so loud. He probably hid his energy to remain undetected."
"If that was true," Vegeta said. "Then why are we sensing it now? I bet he has one of the fastest ship in the cosmo most likely."
"See, that makes more sense," Leo said.
"But," Vegeta continues. "Even at fast speed, we still would've detected it early on. So how?"
"DOESN'T MATTER ANYMORE!" Bulma yelled at both Goku and Vegeta. "Right now, we gotta hide Calypso and get him away from this planet."
Everyone nodded and Calypso spoke.
"My Father has data on everyone the Frieza Force encountered in the past. So he most likely came here to speak to Bulma about using the Dragon Balls."
"Okay then," Bulma replied. "Leo, take Calypso to the hangar and hide their. Goku, Vegeta and I will talk to him and see if we can convince him to leave."
"Why not just threaten him?" Leo suggested. "Didn't you guys beat his boss twice?"
"Frieza goons are no match for us. But," Vegeta answered with a concerned. "Just like Calypso, his energy is giving a strange feeling."
"Yeah," Goku agreed. "We can't really tell how strong he is."
"What?!" Leo yelled. Meanwhile, Calypso was shivering at their comments.
"No... don't tell me... is he really..."
"We'll worry about that later!" Bulma interrupted. "He's on his way now!"
The ship was already near the town and is slowly descending toward Capsule Corps. Leo and Calypso ran toward the hangar and hid while Goku, Vegeta and Bulma stayed to confront the man. As the ship lands, the main entrance opens slowly. A man walks out of the ship. He looks human, was wearing a lap coat on top of the standard Frieza Force uniform, along with one of the latest scouters too. He looked around his 40's to 50's and not much of a fighter, but he was clearly built. He may have done some field ops in the past.
Yet, Goku and Vegeta can't shake this feeling of hesitation from his energy.
The man spoke up front, "Good evening. I am sure you are quite alarm on my sudden entrance."
Vegeta and Goku stood behind Bulma, acting casual but with their guards up. Bulma acts as nicely as possible to him.
"W-well welcome," She said. "What can I do for you?"
"Well, you see," The man spoke. "My name is Atlas, I'm on important mission for science and I need help finding what I'm looking for with the Dragon Balls."
"Well, I'm afraid that the Dragon Balls are unavailable at the moment. It's gonna take a year for them to be ready, I'm afraid."
Atlas sigh, "I see."
"Why would you think we'd help you in the first place? Did you forget that you arrived on a ship own by the Frieza Force?" Vegeta said.
Bulma was really getting nervous whenever her husband speaks.
Atlas raised both his hands as a way of showing he means no harm.
"I understand your concerns, Prince Vegeta. But rest assure, my goals are not beneficial to Frieza."
Vegeta scoffed but urged him to explain.
"You see, I'm out looking for my daughter, Calypso. She was on an important mission for me and I seem to lost contact with her. I can't find her and I just worry for her."
While the group are talking to Atlas, Calypso was shivering at the mere sight of her father. Leo tries to calm her down, but she was just too terrified.
"Don't worry," Leo assured. "He won't find you. I promise you, he'll have to get past us to get you."
Leo held on to Calypso, assuring her that everything is gonna be okay. Meanwhile, Atlas spoke, "So... the Dragon Balls are unavailable at this moment, then?"
Bulma nodded, "I'm afraid so."
Atlas sighed, "Very well, I'll just have to keep searching for her in space. Thank you for your time. I will be on my way."
Leo and Calypso sigh in relief as he walks back to his ship. But, before he leaves, he turns back.
"Before I go," Atlas stares at Goku. "You, are you perhaps Goku?"
"Huh?" Goku said." Yeah, I'm Goku. Why?"
"You see, I read the reports from the Frieza Force that you have the ability to sense energy. Is that correct?"
Vegeta and Bulma are getting more worried; Goku may have save the universe several times now. But, despite his other worldly strength and skills... he's not... that intelligent.
"Yeah, I can."
"Are you able to locate my daughter, Calypso?"
"Oh..." Goku said. "...I'm afraid I can't. You see, I can only find energy I encounter myself."
Bulma sigh in relief. I guess he does knows better.
"And unfortunately, I never met her. Nope, not at all."
Oh my kami, he's a terrible liar.
"Okay! Thank you, Goku," Bulma interrupted. "I'm sorry that we can't help you, Mr. Atlas. I'm sure she's safe and sound somewhere."
Leo and Calypso sigh as Bulma just managed to save everyone from Goku making a slip.
"You're right, I'm sure she's safe," Atlas said. Just as he was finally gonna leave, he said, "After all, she's just inside that hangar."
"Crap Basket!" Both Leo and Calypso said.
Goku and Vegeta went straight to combat stance while Bulma was trying to deny the fact.
"What? That can't be-"
"Do you forget that the Frieza Force have Scouters?" Atlas tapped his Scouter on his ear. "I have already have traces of my daughter's energy. Never lost track of her."
Calypso started to panic. If she just kept going, everyone wouldn't have been involved. Especially... Leo.
"L...Leo..."
"Don't worry, Sunshine. I-I'm sure that-"
"CALYPSO!" Atlas yelled. "Come out... Or I will force to use my hands."
As he said that, he lifted his hand and aimed it toward the hangar.
"Hold on!" Vegeta interrupted. "Why would Frieza want regenerating abilities from the Namekians? He rather be dead then inject that to himself."
"Frieza?" Atlas scoffed. "I'm not here for Frieza's request."
"What?"
"You see, Prince Vegeta, my daughter has the last remaining samples of the ultimate regeneration ability. Not only will those with the ability can regenerate, but will do so in an instant and with little effort."
Calypso and Leo stepped out of the hangar and ran toward the others while Vegeta and Atlas talked.
"Remember how the Namekians struggled when they regenerate missing limbs, for it requires a bit of their energy?" Atlas continued. "Well, thanks to my research, I was able to perfect that ability! It does not require focus or a vast amount of energy."
"I'm not giving it to you!" Calypso yelled. "After what you did to all those people?! All for your research?!"
"Oh Calypso, it's all necessary for progress. Bulma, as a scientist yourself, clearly you understand."
Bulma scoffed, "You and I are nothing alike! Using your own daughter for your project? That's inhumane."
Atlas laughed, "And are you any different? You disrupted the fabric of the multiverse just to go back in time and prevent the death of your friends."
Bulma stuttered at his retort, "T-that was for the greater good!"
"Yet it was forbidden to do, even the gods themselves knows that."
"Wait a minute, how did you know about the parts you weren't there for?" Vegeta asked.
A/N: I'm wondering that too. And I'm the writer here.
Atlas didn't say anything and just started powering up a Ki blast at them.
"Anyways, if you can please return my daughter back to me? I promise I will not bring any harm to anyone in this planet if you return her to me."
Everyone was not budging at Atlas' offer. But, Calypso walked forward.
"Calypso?" Leo said.
"...Father... if I come with you... do you promise not to bring harm to these people?"
Atlas lowers his energy blast and confirmed his offer, "Of course, Calypso. I promise I won't harm anyone here and leave them in peace.-"
"Don't do it, Calypso!" Leo yelled. "Just because he promised, doesn't mean you have to give up your freedom!"
"But Leo..."
"He's right, Calypso," Bulma added. "He may be your father and promised to not hurt anyone, but there's no way he would ever keep it."
"Calypso, I promise you. I will not bring any harms to Earth and it's people."
Vegeta scoffed, "Can you make Frieza promise that?"
"Now Vegeta," Atlas replied. "You and I both know how committed he is on getting his vengeance on you Saiyans. But, if you allow me to continue my research, I promise to release Calypso AND offer you saiyans the abilities yourselves, that way you can defeat Frieza. Is that not a better deal?"
Calypso shudders. Remembering all the horrible experiments her father has done on her, the screaming; the machines; the endless injections on her body...
But she looks back at Leo.
That sarcastic; irritating; stubborn; somewhat funny; brave and loyal man. She should've realized it, but she may have fallen in love with him since that night he told her his nightmares. How someone so full of life, scarred with a terrible past. Watching his own mother get eaten alive, watch the entire city get decimated from a single monster.
And now, that monster is her father.
If she refuse to return to him...
"I'll return... father..."
"NO!"
Leo walked in front of her and got between her and Atlas. "I don't care if you're her father or made a deal to leave us alone! You are not hurting her ever again!"
"Leo..."
Atlas scoffed. "Very well, was gonna do this anyways."
Atlas once again charge his energy and fire at Leo and Calypso.
WHOOSH
Vegeta swooped in and deflected the blast toward the air.
"Kakarot! Now!" he yelled.
Goku nodded and grabbed Bulma and used his Instant Transmission and disappeared. Seconds later, He came back and grabbed Leo and Calypso and used Instant Transmission again.
"What?!" Atlas yelled.
"Don't think for a moment that I was ever gonna accept your terms. First off, we Saiyans would rather die then to take offers to become stronger. If we're gonna defeat that bastard Frieza, it'll be with our training and effort alone. And..."
Vegeta looks back at his home, where Trunks, his son, is at protecting his little sister.
"As a father myself... I'm disgusted at how far you'd give for your own gains."
Vegeta charges at Atlas.
Meanwhile, Goku, Calypso and Leo arrived at Kami's Lookout.
"You guys! Are you okay?" Bulma asked. Leo and Calypso nodded but was confused at what was happening.
"What just happened?" Leo asked.
"I used my Instant Transmission to take us to Kami's Lookout."
"Why?"
"It'll be safer here. Vegeta and I will handle Atlas alone."
"Hold on, at my home?!" Bulma yelled angrily.
"Don't worry, Bulma. Vegeta won't allow it!" Goku replied, "He's gonna force Atlas to a deserted area near the city. Trunks and Goten are at your house keeping Bulla and your family safe until Krillin and Eighteen arrives."
Bulma sighed, "Thank goodness."
"Goku!" said another voice. Everyone looked toward the source and saw a small green man and a... dark-figure man next to him.
"Dende, thanks for the heads up. Vegeta and I should be able to handle it from here."
"It's a good thing I was able to detect him quickly and inform you beforehand," Dende replied. "But are you sure you and Vegeta can beat him?"
"Of course they can!" Bulma replied. "They fought gods and Frieza himself! That crazy scientist can't beat them."
"I wouldn't count on it," another voice spoke. At the far edge of the lookout was another green man, wearing a turban and a cape.
"Piccolo?" Bulma said.
"You sense it to, huh?" Goku asked.
"Yeah, this Atlas doesn't seem strong... and yet, his energy is showing a strange vibe."
"Yeah, Vegeta and I thought so too. But we can't seem to figure it out."
Calypso was still trying to piece everything that's happening right now. But, she knew she had to tell them what she knows.
"Excuse me, but I think I might know something."
Meanwhile, Vegeta managed to drag Atlas to a dessert that was near to the city.
He threw Atlas at a nearby canyon, causing the area to crumble from collision.
"Now then, Atlas, if you wish to live a minute longer. I advise you leave this planet and never come back. And you can forget on getting the girl."
Vegeta flies down and landed right in front of the crater. "As long as she lives here on Earth, I won't allow you to-"
Suddenly, Vegeta collapse from exaustion.
Atlas chuckled from the smoke.
"Oh you naïve prince."
"You bastard! What... did you...do?!"
"Oh, nothing much. Just that when you grabbed me, I simply just... borrowed some of your energy?"
"You what?"
"Energy drain. A gift from my last visit here on Earth."
"Last visit? You mean this wasn't your..."
"Yes, you see, a long time ago I arrived here on Earth; for I was one of the members that came to this planet... with Frieza and his father, King Cold."
"What?!" Vegeta said as he slowly gets back up.
"I was to be on standby for medical help. Though that all change... when that man with the sword arrived and killed everyone. When I saw everyone get instantly sliced, I managed to sneak out of the ship, but I barely survived the blast from Frieza and the swordsman. Well, truth be told, I would've died right there and then. If it weren't for the help of another scientist how was just nearby."
"What? Who?" Vegeta asked.
"Oh, a great cybernetic researcher named... Dr. Gero."

"What? Then... that means..."
"Indeed, Vegeta..."
Atlas walks forward with an energy blast on his hand.
"The man revived me into something greater... an android."
"..."
Author: I... I can just hear TFS Vegeta's rage right now...
TFS Nappa: Poor Future Trunks...
"What?!" Piccolo said.
"Yeah, I remember when I was in his lab once, he had some old blueprints from his time on Earth. How he returned though is still a mystery. But... He did say something recently; that it was almost time for 'It' to emerge."
"It?" Leo asked.
Calypso shrugged for she did not know.
"Wait... Atlas specialty is Bio-engineer... right?" Bulma said.
Calypso nodded.
Bulma and Piccolo gasped.
"What?" Leo and Goku asked. Bulma explained.
"Dr. Gero was a genius on Bio-Engineering. If he and Atlas met before..."
"And if Atlas is an Android just like 17 and 18..." Piccolo continued. "Then... Considering that Atlas was the only survivor from Trunk's assault against Freiza and his men, it's possible he helped create Cell."
"What?!" Leo and Goku yelled.
Calypso was just as shocked, "Then... that means that my father... created the monster that..."
Calypso collapse as she realize the sudden realization.
"Calypso! Are you okay?" Leo said with worried.
"Oh Leo... I'm so sorry..." She said as she cries out in tears.
"What do you mean?"
"Her father helped create Cell, Leo. The monster that attack Nicky Town all those years," Bulma explained.
Leo was speechless. The girl in his arms; the girl who crashed on his ship; who moved in his apartment... who stole his heart, own father was responsible for the traumatic moment his mother got eaten alive right in front of him...
"Bulma, are the Dragon Balls still at your house?" Dende asked. She nodded. "We'll may need them in case the situation gets worse."
"Dende's right," Piccolo said. "Unfortunately, we can't use it to reverse the android part of Atlas. But, I'm sure we can find another way to use them."
"You're right. Goku, go to my house and grab the Dragon Balls. Trunks can lead you to them."
Meanwhile, Vegeta been dodging every attack from Atlas, for if he try to use his energy against him, he'll absorb it. If he try to land a blow, he may grab him and absorb him.
"What's the matter, prince? Finally met your match?"
Vegeta scoffed. "Won't be from a nutcrack like you."
He fired an energy blast at him and dash towards him. Atlas can only focus on one thing at a time. Atlas absorb the blast but got punch by Vegeta; he kept throwing barrages of punches at Atlas, keeping him at defense. He then landed a kick at him, making him crash towards another rock pillar.
"I gotta admit, Atlas. For a man who's a coward, you sure can take a punch," Vegeta said as Atlas was getting back up. "But, unfortunately for you, I've been holding back."
Vegeta started powering up. Despite that Atlas absorb some of his energy, Vegeta still have plenty more to use against him.
Grond shaking.
winds converting.
A strong aura and lightning forming around Vegeta.
Suddenly...
BOOM
Vegeta hair turns yellow, along with his aura.
"Ah... right... Super Sayian," Atlas. "Now you're getting serious."
Vegeta chuckled.
"That's right, so prepare to die, you bastard."
He charges once again at Atlas. Throwing punches at him, hoping to make him lose his composure and slip up an opening for him.
Atlas, however, been returning the punches as well. So far he has not been absorbing Vegeta's energy yet.
"May I ask you something, Vegeta?"
"What?!"
"You see, when I left Earth, I gave Gero the blueprints to create the ultimate life-form; with Frieza last remaining DNA sample."
"Ultimate Life-form? Wait... It was you?! You helped create Cell?!"
Atlas chuckled sinisterly, "Ah, I see you already met our greatest creation then. A shame I never got the chance to see the results from your battles with him. But... that's the life of a scientist. You'll tend to find some errors, best you can do is learn from it."
Atlas landed a kick at Vegeta and pushed him away from him.
"Which is exactly why I need my daughter's help. She now carries the last remaining sample that can make me indestructible! Think about it, Vegeta, the ability absorb energy along with a permanent regenerating body. I would become unstoppable!"
Vegeta scoffed, "What would that do if you just end up getting overpowered? Having those abilities doesn't make you the strongest. And it never will."
Vegeta powers up, "It takes hard work, dedication, and commitment. All of which you lack! Eat this!"
Vegeta pulls out his right hand and yelled, "BIG BANG ATTACK!"
He fired a big energy blast straight toward Atlas. Knowing that he'll just absorb it, he then fired a barrage of energy blast behind the Big Bang Attack. All the energy blasts leaves Atlas overwhelmed, for if he tried to absorb one of them, the rest will blast down at him. Atlas decided to just dodge it, but Vegeta anticipated this and charge the exact position that Atlas would dodge.
Once again, the two duke it out with their fists. Atlas is trying to gain more energy from Vegeta, but he is attacking him on every opening so that he never get a chance.
Why is Vegeta attacking with such fierceness? Two reasons: First reason is that Vegeta loves challenging himself to the limit. When he felt Atlas strange energy level, he believe he may be an opponent that will push him to his limits. The second reason... was Calypso.
A couple of days ago, Calypso came and visit to check up on her ship progress; definitely not here to give Leo's lunch for today. Unfortunately, Leo and Bulma were still busy, so she waited by the balcony along with Trunks and Bulla, the latest new member of the Briefs family. Right when Trunks went to grab Bulla's milk, Bulla started crying.
Calypso went to check up on her.
"Oh... don't worry, sweetie. Your big brother is getting your food right now."
Bulla stops crying and looks at Calypso with a pleading look.
"Huh? You want me to pick you up?"
Bulla reach out with her hands, confirming her question.
Calypso was shuffling around, hoping someone with experience on holding a baby can help. Unfortunately, no one was around. Left with no other choice, Calypso gently picked up Bulla and carried her gently. Swaying back and forth, Calypso managed to make Bulla smiled. She was very proud of herself on doing that.
"Seems she taking a liking to you," Said a voice.
Calypso jumped but held carefully on Bulla and looked behind. Vegeta was there, along with Goku, coming back from their training.
"I'm sorry!" Calypso responded. "She was crying and no one was around and-"
"It's fine," Vegeta said. "Bulla may be a child, but she has the royal Saiyan blood in her. Not in the least worried."
Goku chuckled and said, "Then why are your fidgeting, Vegeta?"
"S-shut it, Kakarot!" Vegeta blushed.
Calypso chuckled and gave Bulla to him and sat down.
"May I ask you something, Vegeta?" She asked. "According to the Frieza Force records, you used work for Frieza and take over planets or destroy them. Now, you opposed him and protect this planet. Why? You used to be feared and respected."
"It's simple, really. My whole life changed when I met that idiot over there," Vegeta pointed toward Goku who was, as always, eating a buffet. "I fought him and lost. Yet, he never decided to end my life. One thing led to another, and I met my wife here on Earth, had my first son... and now daughter."
Vegeta sigh as Bulla was still moving around on his arms.
"But just because I was given a home, doesn't mean I'm admitting defeat. I will defeat Kakarot and stop Frieza by myself!"
Calypso sigh, "Where I'm from, it's ruled by Frieza. The soldiers are rough, no one helps anyone and you already know how my father is. I guess... I guess I'm asking if someone like me also deserves to live a happy life."
"I mean, Vegeta did. Why wouldn't you?" Goku implied.
Just as Calypso was about to respond, Bulma and Leo just arrived from the bunker, with Trunks holding Bulla's food.
Vegeta understood why Calypso asked him that. The way he saw her looking at Bulla, Bulma and Leo says everything. She didn't want to leave, she wants to stay.
And have the life just as Vegeta does.
There was a time in his life he took that life for granted, but now... It's his pride.
And he won't let Atlas take that away from her.
Panting, Vegeta was losing energy from Atlas.
"Face it, Vegeta. If you didn't go soft all these years, you could've been far stronger then you were."
"Heh, don't think for a moment that I've been going all out this whole time."
"What?!"
Vegeta started powering up; suddenly, his aura flashed into a blue light and his body was engulfed in a blue energy. Later, the energy dissipated and showed Vegeta, with blue eyes and blue hair, engulfed in a blue aura.
"Ah yes, I nearly forgot. Super Saiyan Blue."
Vegeta smirked.
"That's right, Atlas. Even with your ability to absorb. You can't fathom the power of a Super Saiyan God!"
Vegeta charges again.
Meanwhile, Goku came back to the Lookout with the dragon balls.
"I got them, Bulma."
"Good, now go help Vegeta!" She yelled. "Piccolo said that Vegeta isn't looking to well. He may need help!"
Goku nodded and just as he was about to Instant Transmission...
"Goku, wait, take these Senzu beans. You may need them."
"Hold on to them, Piccolo. This guy knows a lot about us. He may even know about the Senzu beans and destroy them before we can use them."
Piccolo nodded.
"Wait, Goku!" Leo yelled. "Atlas may be an evil genius, but he's still Calypso's-"
"No!" Calypso yelled. "Goku... tell Vegeta... Do what he must."
Goku nodded and disappeared.
"But Calypso-"
"No, Leo. My father caused so many atrocities to you and the people of Earth. He helped create Cell, the monster that scarred you and threatened this planet. I can't forgive him for that!"
"But-"
"She's right," Piccolo responded. "If Atlas were to escape. He may create something worse than Cell. Or worse, if he was to obtain what's inside her. Not even Goku and Vegeta will stand a chance."
"Wait! How did you-"
"Goku told us before," Dende said.
"Plus, knowing Goku..."
"He'd let him go, only to have a bigger challenge," Bulma said and sigh.
"He's a good guy, but a total idiot."
Vegeta was throwing a lot of energy blasts at Atlas. Panting, he waits for the smoke to disperse, only to see Atlas being surrounded by an energy field.
"Hmm, not bad, Prince. Throwing enough projectiles to throw me off guard."
"Maybe so, but can your little shield protect you from this?!"
Vegeta started charging and went into a stance. Purple energy surrounds him as he yelled, "GALICK GUN! FIRE!"
He fires a purple beam straight at Atlas as he still has his energy field up. Atlas refuse to move, as if he was confident on his own strength.
"Heh, just as I predicted," He said. He turns off his shield and put his hand out toward the beam.
As the beam collided at Atlas, the whole area exploded. Causing a huge light flash at the place.
As everything quiets down, Atlas disappears. Vegeta looks around.
"What the... where did you-"
Suddenly, Atlas grabs Vegeta by the neck from behind.
"Thanks for energy. I'll go and give your family a visit once we're done here."
"You... Bastard..."
Vegeta was slowly losing conscience as his energy is being drained.
WHAM
Goku arrived and land a kick at Atlas.
"Vegeta! Are you okay?!"
Panting, Vegeta replied, "Stay out of this, Kakarot! I can beat this bastard on my own!"
Atlas chuckles, "Your body says otherwise. Thanks to you, I've been getting a lot of that Super Saiyan God energy."
Atlas powers up and his aura got thicker, stronger, and more violent.
Vegeta grunted and was about to charge, but Goku teleported both of them to Kami's Lookout.
"What the hell?!" He said.
"Sorry, Vegeta. But you're gonna need a Senzu bean."
"Vegeta!" Bulma yelled. Everyone ran toward Vegeta and Goku. Piccolo gave Vegeta a Senzu bean while everyone talked about Atlas.
"So it's true," Leo said. "He really did created Cell back then."
"He must've hope that Cell will be revived at this point. But Krillin and Trunks, from the future, killed this timeline Cell," Bulma explained. "And Gohan killed the Cell from the future. The one that threatened the world."
"Doesn't matter! I'm going back and beat him myself!" Vegeta said.
"Hold on, Vegeta! You already have a turn," Goku said.
The two argues about who gets to fight Atlas next while Bulma was yelling at them for being idiots and just fight him together. Meanwhile, Piccolo sense an energy heading straight at them at a rapid speed. He warned the others.
"Damn it!" Vegeta yelled. "I forgot to destory his Scouter. He must've found Calypso with it."
"Okay, new plan!" Bulma yelled. "Goku, you go handle Atlas! Vegeta, you stay here and cover us. I'm gonna summon shenron and see if there's a way we can beat him."
Meanwhile, Atlas flies toward the lookout as fast a possible as he can detect Calypso's power level with his scouter. Just as he was flying, Goku appears out of nowhere.
"Ah, Goku. I was just about to visit you guys."
"Sorry to say this, Atlas, but your daughter doesn't want to see you."
"Oh, come now Goku. Aren't you a bit curious? See if I'm powerful enough to give you a challenge?"
"Heh, funny thing... Vegeta fell for that from Cell a long time ago. I would have too, but your powers weren't from training itself. You stole it from the Namekians that suffered from Frieza and his men. Don't think for moment I'll allow this."
Goku charges up to Super Saiyan.
Atlas frowned, "Shame..." He charges at Goku. "Thought you'd be as simple minded as I predicted."
At the lookout, Bulma summons Shenron from the Dragon Balls. The orbs started glowing while the sky darkens, like the blackest void known to mankind.
TFS Popo: Hmm?
A flashing light burst from the orbs, and a giant green serpent-like Dragon rose from the Dragon Balls.
"I AM THE ETERNAL DRAGON SHENRON! STATE YOUR WISH!"
Calypso and Leo was awe by the Dragon's presence. Bulma, on the other hand, was not fazed by Shenron and state her wish.
"Shenron! An evil man name Atlas has come to Earth and wish to bring harm to her daughter. My wish is that you get rid of Atlas!"
Shenron was quiet for a moment and then spoke, "THAT WISH IS FAR BEYOND MY POWER."
"What?! How?!"
"THE ONE YOU CALLED ATLAS, HAS A POWER THAT FAR EXCEED MINE."
"Damn it!" Leo yelled. "There's got to be a way to stop him!"
Shenron replied, "...THERE IS A WAY..."
"Really? How?!" Bulma asked.
"...HOWEVER, THIS WISH CAN NOT BE OBTAINED BY NORMAL STANDARDS..."
"Huh?"
"...TO OBTAINED THE POWER TO DEFEAT ATLAS... IT REQUIRES A GREAT COST..."
Back with Goku, he continues to defend against Atlas' attacks, finding every opening and weaknesses on him. Which is why he is not going Super Saiyan Blue like Vegeta did. Atlas started throwing energy blasts against him, but Goku was using Instant Transmission to dodge them. However, once he reappears, Atlas shows up from behind and fires a blast at him. Atlas is starting to understand Goku's technique. Therefore, Goku has to change tactics.
"I noticed you're not trying to drain my energy," Goku said.
Atlas chuckled, "After getting a lot of that God energy from Vegeta himself, I simply have no reason to."
He then threw an energy blast that splits into a cluster of smaller ones directly at Goku. They were going too fast for him to dodge, so he has no choice but to block them.
BOOM
Explosions and smokes burst at Goku. Atlas charges forward to land a blow.
Suddenly, Goku screams and started powering up. He put both of his hands together and fired his iconic Kamehameha. The blast was at point blank at Atlas, giving him no chance to dodge, block or even absorb the energy. He took some damage and got his lab coat all burnt up. He was still wearing his standard Frieza Force combat uniform.
"Not bad," He said. "Especially when you're only just Super Saiyan."
"To be fair, I defeated Frieza in this form the first time we fought."
"And yet, you struggled against the Androids and Cell. Perhaps there's something I can still salvage from Gero's lab."
Goku charges and throws many punches and kicks at him. Atlas can only block most of them and dodge a couple, but he was losing ground.
Unfortunately, the fight was at a standstill. Goku has no choice but to go all out. He started powering up and turns Super Saiyan Blue just Vegeta did.
"Ah, finally going all out I see."
"You should be proud, only a few can make me go all out."
He dashes forward and used afterimage to blindside Atlas, then lands a kick from behind. He then throws an energy blast and used instant transmission to teleport behind him. He punches him to prevent him from absorbing the energy blast.
Goku would used every technique, skills and strategy against Atlas. He noticed that despite this man being a scientist, he may also know all of their techniques.
And what's worse, he has to avoid Atlas from absorbing his energy and use it against him.
This will be a tough fight for Goku.
Back at the Lookout, Shenron explains the condition on the wish.
"THE POWER TO DEFEAT ATLAS REQUIRES A LARGE AMOUNT OF ENERGY FROM THE USER. HOWEVER, SUCH POWER EXCEED EVEN A MORTAL'S LIFE FORCE."
"Now I get it, to obtain a power that far exceeds even an android, you'll need to give your life to use it," Piccolo stated.
"That's horrible," Calpypso respond. "Eternal Dragon, is there no other way?"
"I'M AFRAID NOT. THE ONE YOU REFER TO AS ATLAS, HAS OBTAINED GODLY POWERS THAT IS FAR BEYOND MY OWN. AS OF NOW, GOKU IS STRUGGLING TO EVEN BE A MATCH TO HIM."
Every one was shocked at Shenron's statement.
"Hold on! Even Kakarot?!" Vegeta said.
"INDEED... ATLAS HAS BEEN PREPARING HIMSELF TO COME TO EARTH AND OBTAIN HIS DAUGHTER AND BECOME COMPLETE."
"If does that, he'll hurt Calypso and be a threat much worse then Cell!" Leo said.
"But... to give your life for my life... I can't-"
"Forget it!" Vegeta said. "We don't need any help. I'll go defeat Atlas and help that idiot before he-"
WHAM
Goku was sent flying straight toward Vegeta, crashing at the lookout.
"Oh no!" Calypso yelled as she noticed her father has arrived, battle damaged but still in peak condition.
"Sweetie, you're being quite a nuisance to your father."
Piccolo charges forward and attack, but it Atlas caught his hand and sent him flying with an energy blast.
Leo came up in front of Calypso and protects her while he grabs his toolbelt and pulled a capsule. He opens it and it transform into a weapon of sort.
One of his latest invention he made was to make a beam pistol to help on mending metals. He had no intentions of using it as a way to attack people. But this was an exception.
"You stay away from her!" He yelled as he fired. Atlas surrounds himself an energy field to prevent being damaged as he walks towards them.
Leo told Calypso to run.
"But Leo..."
"GO!"
Calypso wants to run, more than anything. But, she can't leave Leo to be tortured from her father. She'd never forgive herself. Meanwhile, Goku and Vegeta where badly hit.
"Kakarot, you idiot!"
"He's strong, Vegeta. Maybe stronger than Broly and Frieza."
"Don't be stupid! He's nothing more but psychotic bastard who would use his own daughter for his selfish gains!"
Vegeta growls and charges at Atlas.
Atlas saw this and directed the beam towards Vegeta, hitting him and hurting him.
"Vegeta!" Leo yelled. This gave Atlas an opening and grabbed Leo by the neck.
"LEO!" Calypso yelled.
"ENOUGH! I have had it with this chase, Calypso," Atlas started choking Leo.
"STOP IT!" Calypso yelled. Atlas noticed the desperation in her voice and smirked.
"Ah... I see. This boy is precious to you isn't he? Tell you what, how about a fair trade? His life for yours."
Leo was struggling to speak while Dende and Bulma went to help Goku, Vegeta and Piccolo get back into the fight.
"Sunshine... run..." Leo barely said.
Calypso wants nothing more than to run. Get as far away from her father as possible. She wants nothing more but for Leo to be safe, to be happy... to be loved.
But... she can't give it. For who she is... where she came from.
"Leo... I'm so sorry," She said, tears falling from her eyes. She then spoke to Shenron, "Eternal Dragon Shenron, give me the power to-"
BAM
Calypso never got the chance to finish her wish. For she had been pierced by her father bare hands.
Bulma yelled while Dende was healing Goku and Vegeta. Leo's eyes widen in shock at what just happened.
Suddenly, the last months with her came flashing before his eyes.
All those times they argue.
All those times they laughed.
All those times they just... lived.
Everything was going red.
Leo can't think now, all he can do is aim his rifle at Atlas arm and cutting it off.
He grunts in pain from losing the arm. Leo ran towards Calypso as she started bleeding.
Unfortunately, Atlas started glowing green and laughs sinisterly.
Shockingly, his arm regrew instantly.
"No!" Calypso said weakly.
Atlas chuckles, "Thank you, daughter, for making whole. Now... to eliminate the pests."
He aims his hand at Leo and Calypso before Goku and Vegeta charges at him and flew off the lookout.
"Calypso! Hang on!" Leo yelled. "We'll get you to a doctor and-"
"Don't worry, I got it," Dende said. He put his hands out toward Calypso and they started glowing, healing her.
Normally, Leo would be freaked out or surprised at the situation, but Calypso is more important than anything else.
"Thank you..."
"Where did Atlas go?" Bulma asked.
"Goku and Vegeta went after him after he got Calypso. Unfortunately, Dende wasn't able to heal them all the way," Piccolo stated. "I'm afraid they won't stand a chance now."
"Damn it! Now what?!" Leo yelled. "He now has what he came for and Calypso is badly wounded. Goku and Vegeta are struggling and Shenron can't stop him! Wait..."
Leo looks up at Shenron and realized that they still have their wish. As he stands up, Calypso grabbed his hand.
"Leo... don't..."
Leo placed his hand on hers and smile reassuringly at her.
"It's okay, Sunshine. I'll finish this. And you'll be free."
He walks toward the Dragon and Shenron spoke.
"HAVE YOU DECIDED YOUR WISH?"
Leo looks back at Calypso, Bulma and her friends. He thinks back to all the memories he made ever since working at Capsule Corps. All the friends he made, the stories he heard; the crazy shenanigans he's seen. Then he thinks back to Cell; how he made his life a living hell with traumas and nightmares. Then he remembers Calypso... how her very presence has brighten his life.
He knows what he has to do.
"I have..."
Meanwhile, Goku and Vegeta landed on an empty field with Atlas.
"Damn it! I hate say it, but we have no choice. Kakarot, we're gonna have to fight him together."
"Yeah," Goku agreed, "He managed to grab some of my energy in our last fight. But, we gotta stop him now."
The two powers up and transform into Super Saiyan Blue. They charge toward Atlas, but he once again puts up an energy field, expanding it and pushing them back.
He then dash forward and grabbed Vegeta and threw at Goku. He then throws another energy blast that once agains turns into smaller clusters of blasts.
Goku and Vegeta were on the defensive, they been trying to get an opening and attack Atlas, but he would just absorb their energy, so they can't use their blasts nor get grabbed. And now that he has the ability to regenerate, he's unstoppable. But, he's not powerful.
"If we can just... weaken him, we have a fighting chance."
"How?" Vegeta said. "The bastard will just drain us out if that happens."
Vegeta and Goku looked at every possible way to beat Atlas on their own. Unfortunately it only leads to two options for them. Fusion and Ultra Instinct.
"I refuse to use that pathetic technique ever again."
"We may not have a choice, Vegeta. I can't use Ultra Instinct at the moment, I still can't activate it."
Vegeta grunted but knows he has no choice.
Suddenly, Atlas appears in front of them.
"Shame I won't let you two have the opportunity to use it."
He kicks Goku and slams Vegeta on the ground. He then fires a blast at Goku and made him fly off to a hill, colliding and bind by it. He then puts a foot on Vegeta's head on the ground.
"My, how the prince has fallen. You should've taken Frieza's offer and rejoin the Frieza Force. I could've made you unstoppable."
Vegeta grabs his foot and slowly gets up. "Like hell I'd take your offer."
Vegeta kicks him up in the air, "Kakarot! Now!"
Goku appears by the air with his Kamehameha Stance. He yelled and fired his blast at Atlas who was flying towards him.
The blast hit and made a huge explosion.
Goku may use the opportunity to use the Spirit Bomb, his ultimate technique. However, if he does, Atlas will just absorb it, making him even more powerful.
They never had any issues with the other androids they fought in the past.
Dr Gero; Android 19; 18; 17 and Cell. They won triumphantly against them.
TFS Nappa: I mean... They survived so...
Author: Don't say that in front of Vegeta. We can't revive... on second thought, go tell him. He needs to hear this.
But Atlas was different. He was smart enough to enhance the Android part with bio-engineering that perfected Cell. Along with his experience at the Frieza Force and all the tactical data he was given from both Dr. Gero and Frieza, he knows everything he needs to be a threat to Goku and his friends.
Panting, Goku replied, "Man, we're really in a pickle here. Huh Vegeta?"
"Shut it, Kakarot," Vegeta grunted. Both were wearing out and can barely keep Super Saiyan Blue on. Atlas on the other hand was still in peak condition, despite the use of energy.
"I must thank you Saiyans. If you have not survived the destruction of your planet, I would've never got such astonishing data, along with these abilities."
He raised one of his hands up toward the air. A small green energy blast was made and started expanding, getting bigger... and bigger... and bigger... until it was about the same size as Goku's Spirit Bomb that he used against Majin Buu.
Goku and Vegeta can not survive a blast that big, nor could Earth.
"Let me reward you both with a farewell gift. I'll be sure to give Frieza your regards."
Atlas then throws it at them.
They can dodge the blast, but Earth will be destroyed if they do. They have no choice but use everything they have to stop the blast and deflect it elsewhere.
They both stood their ground and grabbed the energy blast with their hands. Their struggling to stand firm to the ground and carry the blast as it pushes them back little by little.
"Hold on, Vegeta!"
"Shut it!"
The two are starting lose their grip as Atlas watches from afar to avoid the blast.
"Farewell, Saiyans. I'll be sure to let the universe know how useful your kind was to my research..."
He then gave the blast a final push, a gesture that this was the end for Goku and Vegeta.
All was lost to our heroes...
Until suddenly...
WHOOSH
A red small energy blast flew past Atlas and dash towards the big energy blast. It pushed the blast out of Goku and Vegeta's hands and deflected it towards the sky.
It impact and exploded mid-air.
"What the-?"
Atlas looks back to the source and there, on top of a cliff...
...was Leo himself?
Did Leo just used a Ki blast against Atlas? Did he use the wish from Shenron on himself? Will our heroes defeat this evil scientist? Can Leo stand a chance and save the woman he loves, along with his planet?

Ugh, I finally managed to finish this. Took freaking forever, and since life made me busy I barely had time to write it down. But luckily I did. I was struggling on the action but it was mostly how to start it. I wish I can get more into detail about the fight scenes; but if I do, I'll just be dragging this chapter for a long time. To give you guys a better understanding, Atlas attacks are similar to that of Bojack in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 mix with the Energy Drain the Androids can use. I pretty much used Xenoverse 2 as a method of inspiration for this chapter.
Anyways, next chapter will be the last one for this three shot. It will be a bit shorter then this one, but it will be done before the end of this month. Sorry for the long wait and I hope you enjoyed. If you can/want, review and comment your thoughts on this chapter. Until next update.
