(Victor's Apartment)
Victor was sitting at the dining room table, doing the paper work that he brought home from Creed Inc. in the hope that he was ready for a potential business opportunity in a few days. When the front door of the apartment opened, Victor turned his head to see Logan walking through the door from the night out on the town.
Logan stepped inside and closed the door behind him. Logan noticed that Vic was sitting in the dining room, not wearing a shirt, while going to throw papers for business. Victor moved his head to see Logan standing in the living room and said, "Late night?"
Zoe came walking out of the kitchen, wearing a Victor shirt and holding a plate full of breakfast. Logan stopped his track and looked surprised that Darlin was wearing one of Victor's shirts. Zoe walked over to the dining room table and said, "Honey, here's your breakfast." Zoe's head snapped up. She peered at Logan, sniffed the air, and gave a small growl. Victor said, "Sweetheart, could I have some coffee?" Zoe spun around and walked back into the kitchen.
Logan moved closer to Victor and asked, "When did Darlin get here?" Victor said, "Last night!" Logan realized that Darlin must have spent the night with Victor. He couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy at the thought. Logan said, "You didn't think about calling to say that Darlin was here."
Zoe is walking out of the kitchen, placing Victor's coffee next to his plate. Victor reached over, picking up his coffee. He took a sip and replied, "I was busy with other things on my mind." Zoe gave Logan a pointed look before turning her attention back to Victor.
Logan, Victor, and Zoe started hearing bells, and Zoe walked around the table and said, "My cellphone rang again." "Excuse me, I need to take this," Zoe said, hurrying out of the room to answer her phone. Logan glanced at Victor, a knowing look passing between them as they continued their breakfast. The sound of the bells faded into the background as they focused on their conversation.
Victor and Logan notice that Zoe came walking back into the dining room and said, "No! Remy!" "Remember that the flooring is to be walnut; I don't want green carpet." "Remy needs to understand; I'm trying to understand the importance of maintaining a certain level of class and sophistication." Beside your taste in decor, it could sometimes be questionable."
Both Victor and Logan realized that their little mate was speaking about the Wild Orchid Gentlemen Club that she owns in Reno. Zoe growled as she walked into the kitchen. Logan said, "Maybe we should have a talk with Remy about the image she wants to portray for the Wild Orchid Gentlemen Club." Zoe's frustration was palpable as she slammed a cabinet door shut in response.
Zoe walked back into the dining room with a plate full of breakfast and placed it in front of Logan. Logan and Victor exchanged a knowing glance, silently agreeing to address the issue with Remy later. Zoe's annoyance was evident on her face, and she reached over, grabbing a piece of bacon off Logan, and said, "Stop Remy! I don't want it to look like New Orleans or Las Vegas."
Logan reached over, taking Darlin's hand, to notice that her claws started coming out. Zoe said, "I don't give a fuck." "I have worked for years to own a business and plan to own something with class." "You fellow the fuck plans or leave it alone." Logan squeezed Darlin's hand reassuringly, feeling her tension ease slightly. He knew Zoe was passionate about maintaining the integrity of their business, but he also understood Remy's desire to inject some excitement into the establishment.
Victor and Logan could see Zoe's feral side starting to come out. Zoe said, "No way!" It's my way or highway." Victor and Logan exchanged a knowing glance, realizing that they would need to find a way to balance Zoe's vision with Remy's ideas in order to move forward successfully. They both knew that compromise would be key to navigating the challenges ahead.
Zoe said, Mr. Anderson, and you yourself need to understand that I could give both cut or cut you both out." Victor and Logan knew that Zoe's determination could be a double-edged sword, as her passion could drive the business forward but also potentially alienate key players. They realized that finding common ground with Zoe would be crucial for the success of her establishment.
Victor and Logan were aware that Zoe's ultimatum required careful consideration and collaboration in order to reach a mutually beneficial solution. They understood that embracing Zoe's vision while also addressing Remy's concerns would be essential for the longevity of their partnership.
Laughing, Zoe exclaimed, "Mr. Spilotro, don't get cut." "He got cut alright from Deadpool." "Mr. Spilotro is pushing up the daises now from six feet under." Logan and Victor exchanged a knowing look, both of them realizing how serious Zoe's remarks were. They discovered Deadpool had eliminated Mr. Spilotro.
Zoe said, "I can't!" I just started Cyle again." "New York!" Zoe closed her eyes, looked around, and said, "Nope! I don't see anyone around me." "No! I heard that Victor and Logan are still in Reno." Both Victor and Logan looked questioningly at each other as Zoe put a finger to her lips. Until Victor realized that Zoe was lying to Remy about both of them being around her now that she was heat again.
Zoe soon hugged up her cellphone and looked at Victor. Logan asked, "You just lied to Remy." Why did you close your eyes and say you didn't see anyone?" Zoe said, "Easy; by closing my eyes, I couldn't see anything or anyone around it; it wasn't a lie." Beside, you can't see anything around you with your eyes closed."
Victor chuckled at Zoe's clever response, impressed by her quick thinking. Logan raised an eyebrow, understanding Zoe's reasoning but still feeling uneasy about the situation. Logan pulled Zoe out of her chair and into his lap. He whispered, "Just be careful next time, okay?" Zoe nodded, feeling grateful for Logan's protective nature. The three of them sat in silence for a moment, each lost in their own thoughts.
Until Zoe looked up at the clock and said, "Shit!" "I have to leave soon." "I have a dealer pack for Mr. Anderson." Logan said, "Who is the package for?" Zoe quickly replied, "It's for Mr. Anderson, the new client."
Logan nodded in understanding, realizing the importance of the situation. Zoe quickly gathered her things and rushed out the door, leaving Logan to ponder the significance of their meeting with Mr. Anderson. Victor told Logan fellow her and make sure everything is alright. I have to go into work at Creed Inc.
(Zoe's Tail)
Logan made an effort to keep up with Zoe as she drove into Brooklyn, New York. Logan tried to find Zoe's motorcycle in the dense traffic, but he soon lost it. Unaware that she was aware that her boyfriends didn't completely trust her, he realized he couldn't keep up with her.
Logan couldn't get rid of the uneasy sensation that came over him as he pulled over to the side of the road. He had no idea that Zoe had deliberately chosen an alternative route to meet her friends without telling him, and that she had given the page to an old friend.
When Logan told Victor that Darlin was on his way to Brooklyn, New York, he taxed him. Because of the heave track, he was unable to inform Vic that she was missing. He didn't know that Zoe knew she was being followed by one of her lovers and that she was purposefully leading them astray. Logan struggled to devise a strategy to locate Zoe since he had a nagging suspicion that he was walking straight into her trap.
Zoe kept driving away from Logan, using the back alley. She hoped Logan would lose her trail. Not by someone as determined as Logan, anyway. She had no intention of being found. She had stopped at the donut shop to pick up dozon dounuts and three hot cups of coffee for friends. Logan didn't realize that Zoe was leading to Blind Ale Place.
Logan followed the trail of the donut shop. As he stepped into the donut shop, he noticed that Zoe was ordering boxes of full-fresh donuts and four larger cups of coffee. Logan sat down at one of the tables when a young waitress walked up and asked, "What order?" Logan turned his head to order a cup of coffee.
He didn't realize the shop owner handed Zoe a key, which she discreetly slipped into her pocket. Logan turned his head back to notice that Darlin had slipped away by using the back door and moved around the building to come to her motorcycle and drive faster in to Brookyln.
Logan quickly realized that Zoe was up to something suspicious, but he couldn't quite figure out what. As he sipped his coffee, he made a mental note to keep an eye on her movements in the future. The owner walked to Logan and said, "Mr. Logan Howlett." Logan looked up to see an older woman standing next to the table and said, "Yes!"
The owner reached over and gave Logan a piece of paper and said, "Miss Marshal asked me to give this to you." Logan said, "Thank you!" Logan opened the paper to find a message that read: "Sweetheart, please stop fellowing me." "Go home!" "P.S. . Please take a shower. You smell like that whore that you slept with last night." Logan crumpled the paper in his hand, feeling a mix of confusion and concern. He couldn't shake the feeling that something was off about Darlin's message.
Logan realized that Darlin knew the woman he slept with last night. Logan's mind raced with questions as he tried to piece together the puzzle of Darlin's cryptic message. Was Darlin trying to warn him about something, or was there a more sinister motive behind the note? As Logan pondered the implications, he couldn't help but wonder what other secrets Darlin might be hiding.
(Blind Alb's apartment)
Zoe arrived at Blind Ale's place, pulling up to the back door like she always did. She knocked three times at the prearranged signal and waited for Blind Ale to let her in. Zoe knew that Blind Ale operated in secrecy for a reason, and she was about to find out just how deep her connections ran.
Ale opened the door and said, "That was the first time you knocked, honey." Zoe said, "Sorry! Ale as her southern came out. Ale said, "Hayley!" Zoe realized that Blind Ale had mistaken her for someone else. As she tried to explain the mix-up, she couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to Blind Ale's operation than she had ever imagined. Zoe said, "Yes, Mama." Ale reached over, giving Zoe the biggest hug and inventing her to come inside.
Ale said, "I thought you were Eric." Zoe said, "I bring donuts and fresh coffee." "Lazy, head up yet!" Ale laughed and motioned for Zoe to come in, intrigued by her sudden appearance. As they walked into the living room and sat down to enjoy the coffee and donuts, Zoe couldn't help but wonder what other surprises Blind Ale had in store for her.
Ale asked, "So, what brings you here today?" Zoe replied, "I'm actually here to dealer the package from Mr. Anderson." Ale's eyebrows raised in surprise at the mention of Mr. Anderson. Zoe could sense that there was a lot more to Blind Ale's business dealings than she had initially thought. As they continued their conversation, Ale revealed that Mr. Anderson was a powerful figure in the underground world of art smuggling.
Ale explained that Mr. Anderson had a reputation for being both ruthless and generous, depending on which side of the deal you were on. Zoe realized that she was now caught in the middle of something much bigger than she had anticipated. Zoe said, "It's not surprising that Mr. Anderson was into bigger and better things." "Always give me the best jobs."
Ale nodded in agreement, adding that Mr. Anderson's connections reached far and wide, making him a formidable force to reckon with in the art world. Zoe couldn't help but feel a sense of unease, knowing that she was now entangled in a web of intrigue and danger surrounding Mr. Anderson and his illicit activities.
Zoe said, "Ale, picture time with the package sent to Mr. Anderson to show that we completed the job successfully. Zoe pulled out her cellphone, took a picture, and sent it to Anderson. Second later, get a message back from Anderson saying good job! Money has been sent. Thank you, Huntress!" "Please don't forget about the second job!"
Wade bedroom door open, Wade was strolling into the living room full of nude. Zoe said, "Jesus Crest, Wade, put on damn paint first." Wade smiled and said, "Relex Hayley! With a flushed face, Zoe turned to face the question, "Francis did a number on your ass."
Ale asked, "Let's hope that Wade is not wearing his big masturbating shoes." Wade said, "My crocs! Ale said, "Yes!" Zoe asked, Where does the unicorn fit in this?" Wade chuckled and replied, "The unicorn is the referee, obviously." Ale laughed and said, "Well, as long as it's a fair game!" Ale, Zoe, and Wade brusted out laughter. Zoe said, Wade , you never fail to bring humor into any situation." Wade grinned and replied, "Gotta keep things interesting!"
Ale said, "Hayley! Bring fresh donuts and coffee." Zoe said, "Wade, please put the damn paint on and come get your bear claw filled with cinnamon sugar." Wade asked, "Did you get power dounts?" Zoe said, "Yes! I also get Tiger Tails, chocolate bars, and cinnamon twists." Wade's eyes widened in excitement as he exclaimed, "You're the best, Hayley!" Ale took a sip of the fresh coffee and found out that it was freshly made.
Wade noticed the page on the table and said, What is that? Zoe said, "Cocaine!" Ale asked Hayley, How do you know it, Cocaine?" Zoe said, Smell the package. If you remember that scenters are stronger than normal humans." Ale said, "Because of your feral side or mutant ability." Hayley chuckled and replied, "Both, actually. My senses are heightened due to my mutant abilities, but my feral side definitely helps too." Zoe added, "It comes in handy when we're tracking down dangerous substances like this."
Ale asked, Have you met anyone like yourself?" Zoe said, "Yes!" Victor Creed and Logan Howlett." Wade looked at Hayley and said, Stay away from them." Zoe asked, "Why?" Wade replied, "They're not exactly the most trustworthy individuals." Ale nodded in agreement and added, "Plus, they have a tendency to get into trouble wherever they go."
Zoe knew that she would keep her mouth closed because she was dating both of them. She didn't want to reveal her personal connection to Victor and Logan, knowing that it could complicate things with her friends. Keeping her relationships a secret was crucial to maintaining trust within the group.
Ale asked, "So what are both of you going to do today?" Zoe said, "Did you ever find where Francis went?" Wade said, "No!" Zoe smiled mischievously, Well, I just know where Francis is working out of." Curiosity piqued, Ale and Wade exchanged a puzzled look before turning their attention back to Zoe, eager to hear more about Francis's whereabouts.
Zoe chuckled, "Do you remember the little black book that get from Mr. Spilotro safe?" It would have appeared that Mr. Spilotro was paying Francis. So I did a little checking in and found his location on the outskirts of New York in the warehouses. "He's been working there for the past few weeks," Zoe continued, raising suspicions about Francis's mysterious activities. Ale and Wade exchanged worried glances, wondering what trouble Francis might have gotten himself into this time.
Wade gave an evil smile and said, "You always give nice gifts when you come to visit." Ale and Zoe exchanged puzzled looks, unsure of what Wade's comment meant. They knew Francis had a tendency to get involved in shady dealings, but they never expected it to involve Mr. Spilotro. Their concern for Francis grew as they realized the potential danger he might be in.
Ale asked, "Do you still have Mr. Spilotro's little black book?" Zoe said, "Yes, it's not that he's going to use anything soon." Zoe reached in her bag, pulled out a little black book, and handed it to Ale. Wade said, Ale your blind." Ale said, Yeah, so! Beside, I bet little is worth some money to the right hands."
Wade chuckled and said, "You never change, Ale." Ale grinned and replied, "Why mess with a good thing?" Zoe said, "I get half; Wade and yourself can spit the other half." Ale laughed and said, "Deal, but only if you promise not to use your half for anything illegal." Zoe rolled her eyes and replied, "Deal! Beside I going to use on my business. Ale asked, "What is your business called?" Zoe said, "The wild Orchid Gentlemen Club in Reno."
Ale raised an eyebrow and said, "Sounds interesting." I might have to pay a visit sometime." Zoe smirked and replied, "You're always welcome, Ale." Zoe had noticed that Wade went suit up and got ready to meet with Francis. Zoe took a sip of her coffee.
