Walking Dead Wizard

Chapter 90

"Good morning, Ezekiel," Harry said, claiming a seat opposite him, as always Daryl right at his back. The others were outside, talking to everyone, getting an impression of them. Sophia, Carol, Lori, Judith, Carl, Andrea, Amy and Beth as well as Oscar, Axel, Merle and Hershel had come today as per his request. Sophia had immediately agreed, so obviously Carol wished to come. Andrea, Beth and Amy would never miss an opportunity to go out of the base and Lori had taken it splendidly, especially compared to Rick. He did not like his entire family just up and leaving without him. The fact Lori hadn't fought let him know that she trusted him, with not only her life but her children's lives. She'd come a long, long way from the woman she once was.

"Harry," Ezekiel murmured, Harry observed that he barely looked up from his food to greet them. Dressed in a grey jumper and a pair of jeans all of which looked as if they'd seen better days. All the clothes did though, Harry only repaired the clothes when needed, and sure, he had a whole slew of clothes in his trunk but they wouldn't be used until needed. Nothing went to waste if they could help it and clothes that are still whole, even if they lost a bit of their colour were not a loss. Narrowing his eyes, noticing the slumped tense shoulders, the avoidance of looking up. "What happened?" knowing something had. He knew if he looked down to see Ezekiel's face he'd find red swollen eyes, a sign that he had been extremely upset.

"You were right about the Saviors," Ezekiel replied, just last night Benjamin had suggested that they help Harry and Jesus fight the Saviors.

"What happened?" Daryl grunted out, sounding annoyed. Slightly surprised that Ezekiel had dropped the damn 'Shakespearian' talk and was speaking plainly. Daryl preferred that way, that was for damn certain. It was annoying as hell to listen to him talk theatrically, he'd rather fuck off than listen to it.

"A lot of our crops were destroyed, but we managed to get enough that should have satisfied the Saviors, but it did not," Ezekiel explained, finally looking up, and yes his eyes were red rimmed and swollen. "They killed Benjamin without provocation," the reality was, that one Savior hadn't liked the way Benjamin had looked at him and shot him because of it. Nobody had been pleased, not even the Saviors, the leader of the group had been extremely displeased, but it didn't matter. Benjamin was gone, and he'd had to tell Luke that his brother was never going to return home. They'd done everything they could to get him back here as quickly as possible. They had failed, but they had been doomed from the start, his femora artery had been hit, he'd bled out within minutes, even with their attempts to stem the flow of never ending blood. He'd washed his hands dozens of times since, but he could still see the dried in caked blood – even if there wasn't anything there now – coating his hands, he felt responsible, he had been warned about the Saviors and their attitudes declining more and more…yet he'd taken Benjamin with him. More fool him. He'd considered them threatening but somewhat stable, for those extorting food from them otherwise they'd come and kill indiscriminately. They'd never followed through, he assumed they didn't know where the Kingdom was, but he feared that his assumptions were wrong.

His thoughts had been all over the place since last night, he hadn't had a wink of sleep. He felt no matter which direction he took them in, it was doomed to failure. What if he fought with Harry's group and the Hilltop group only to lose his own people? What if he kept just giving into the Saviors demands and lost them anyway? Jesus wouldn't lie to him, they'd obviously suffered some serious loss, and he wouldn't have risked a war with the Saviors either. What would happen when they could no longer produce enough food to keep the Kingdom going and give to the Saviors?

"We're sorry for your loss," Harry said, his mouth set in a grim line.

Ezekiel glanced at Harry surprised by the genuine sympathy, he didn't sound like the words were parroted constantly, didn't sound as though he said it without meaning. Didn't sound like a police officer offering empty platitudes having given them all his life. He did sound as though he'd lost people, and that genuinely surprised him. How could he continue on when he lost someone? He just wanted to hide away, give the responsibilities to someone else. "How do you do it?"

Harry didn't even need clarification to understand where Ezekiel's thoughts were, "You don't have a choice, you just have to keep going, the people counting on you are relying on that. It's tough, but you draw strength from them all, just as they gather strength from you. You're not alone, they've lost someone as well." he'd drawn strength from Hermione and Ron, from his parents, his godfather, his godson. Now though, he drew strength from those closest to him now, Luna, Merle, the group, and most importantly Daryl. Daryl was his anchor, and had been for a long, long time, much longer than probably either of them realized. It wasn't 'love' at first sight, far from it, even on his part, but he had been attracted to his rugged handsomeness, and when he did speak when he wasn't pissed off, it showed he put care into everything he said.

As he said yesterday he really liked the real Ezekiel, he was a much more tolerable man.

"And if you can't?" the self-proclaimed 'king' then asked.

"You made your bed, now you need to sleep in it," Harry stated curtly, "You don't get to become a hero to these people then abandon them when they need you most. Not when they've sacrificed everything for you, trusted you despite the fact they shouldn't have. Eighty percent of your people wouldn't stand a chance of a walker invasion let alone if the Saviors come…you've left them defenceless, the women and children…"

"They shouldn't have to fight," Ezekiel argued.

"What sort of women did you surround yourself with before the apocalypse for you to believe that?" Harry asked genuinely amused by his declaration. "You think women need men to rescue them? think they're not strong enough to handle everything that comes there way? Then you're a fool, give a woman the right motive and tools and they can outmatch us in strength. One of our own was on her own for a year before she came to us, living on the outside, inevitably captured…hurt in ways you don't want to see a woman endure…she thought she'd lost everyone…had no reason to go on and more reason to just lay down and let this world run all over her…"

"But she didn't," Daryl spoke with reverence and harshness that belayed his anger at those who had hurt Michonne. Thankfully, his brother had dealt with those motherfuckers. At least some of them at any rate, then they as a group had dealt with the rest who attacked them at the prison. Then her strength and perseverance paid off, she had found her son against all the odds in the world. "She grew stronger, more lethal," and that was true, Michonne was one of the strongest women in the group, Andrea was next to her. Carol had become a very strong women after her pathetic pig of a husband had died. Harry had ensured that, so that Sophia would have her mother for as long as possible.

"You left your women weak, it's the first thing you should change, along with training the children, ten years old and up," Harry stated sharply, giving him orders without conscious thought. "Trust me, it will be the best thing you will ever do." Relegating them to washing, cleaning and bloody house work part of him wanted to wring his bloody neck. It was archaic, something even still done in the magical world before all this.

Daryl watched Ezekiel like a hawk, noticing him responding to Harry, straightening his spine. This was no leader, this was a follower, he was getting ready to follow Harry without even trying to co-lead. Was it due to the death of one of his own or had he always been this way? It was a wonder he had successfully lead them this far. His lip curled up as he watched him, he was a poor imitation of a leader, but it wasn't something he hadn't already been unaware of.

"I need an answer, as riveting as this conversation is, I have a lot to do today," and that was the truth, he had to get eyes on the school Mira mentioned. Two miles from Hilltop, the school will guarantee plenty of room for the amount of people at Hilltop, and plenty of area to grow crops and allow their animals to thrive. Mira would be coming, there was enough potions to do them a while now, and there was no point to brewing more. It would give her something else to do, and she knew the area and the school obviously, so that's a must. Jesus would be getting a serious wake up call in the knowledge of his magic and its capabilities soon as well. Since it was his group, he had to agree to the move and if the school was what he wanted for them. As Daryl said, there was no point to doing anything without agreements on his and Hilltops parts. "Will the groups come together for a conference or not?"

"Groups? As in everyone?" Ezekiel gaped at Harry in shocked disbelief.

Harry stared stonily back, "Everyone that wants to come yes," everyone deserves a say in what was coming.

"Where exactly do you expect to have this meeting? Hilltop has at least ninety members, we have over one hundred occupants and then there is your group," which he expected to be massive given the plans he seemed to have to take on the Saviors.

"Let me worry about that," Harry stated firmly, "I do guarantee everyone's safety," there was no safer place than with him.

"There is no guarantee's anymore," Ezekiel, "Nowhere is truly safe,"

Daryl scoffed out an amused chuff a twisted smirk on his face, as he gazed at Ezekiel through his hair.

"When I say something, I mean it," Harry stated standing up, "I do not offer false platitudes."

"You in or out?" Daryl demanded, as he too stood, he'd been impatient before coming to this meeting, and he'd been just waiting for it all to come to a conclusion. He hated talking shit out, especially with people he didn't know and didn't trust. He knew it was needed, but he didn't care for that shit. He'd rather go hunting or something, he wasn't a people's person, and nothing was going to change that.

"In," Ezekiel replied, also standing up, wondering if he was going to regret this. Still confused about many things, but if Jesus trusted him then he would as well. He could only pray that he wasn't about to regret that trust.

"We'll be in touch," Harry replied, "Probably within twenty-four to forty-eight hours, press number one on this if you need help," slipping the phone out of his pocket and handing it over. He'd never thought he'd be using the slew of mobile (cell) phones he'd had in his trunk, but Mira had figured out a way to have them functioning. The rune keeps them powered up they don't even really need a damn signal it was ingenious really, now they didn't need to use the radios or use electricity to power them up constantly. Depending on how it went, they would use the radios for now, they couldn't risk something happening at the wrong moment. He'd also asked Luna to add a tracking rune to the back of the phone this morning when he'd seen her and Mira fiddling about with the phones. Merle had imputed the numbers though since Luna knew nothing about Muggle electronics. There were eight numbers on speed dial, Harry, Merle, Daryl, Luna, Mira, Andrea, Carol and Michonne.

"It works, press it if you don't believe it," Daryl grunted, seeing that Ezekiel wasn't impressed and looked ready to throw them on their arses, evidently the loss and everything else he was going through was annoying the fuck out of him. he'd learn, Harry ain't one for fucking around or telling 'jokes' in shit.

He did. And within moments a ringtone was going in the room.

Harry made no move to answer it. "Satisfied?" he drawled sounding bored, "One or two days." He added, before stalking out of the room, quite honestly, he was probably just as anxious as Ezekiel about the upcoming meeting, even if it was in a few days. There was no way they'd all accept magic as part of their lives surely? Then again…did they really have to? The magic population would come with him, whether they wanted to or not. They needed to be taught control, how to use their magic, and they couldn't do that amongst the human population. Not that there was going to be a huge percentage of them. It wasn't just humanity that suffered, the supernatural had too.

"You want to head out and hunt today?" Harry asked Daryl as they swiftly made their way out of the Kingdom not even stopping to let the guard who was supposed to be escorting them out catch up. Giving Daryl the chance to get out of the next task on the never ending list. They had more than enough animals to select from, with more giving birth by the day, and they ate everything Daryl – and sometimes he, less often these days – brought back. "Merle and Luna will be with me," giving him the reassurance he'd be fine. "I want you to come somewhere with me later though…to Hogwarts," just him and Daryl.

"I'll tell Carol," Daryl murmured, his hawk eyes watching everyone, including the rest of their group saying their goodbyes when they saw their leaders leaving the Kingdoms compound.

Harry's lips twitch, "She'll figure it out," he said wryly, slowing just a tad after they were out of the Kingdom walls. They would wait to Portkey until they were beyond prying eyes. The last thing he needed was the Kingdom people finding out before he could tell them in a controlled manner. Although telling over one hundred people together that he was a wizard was at the height of stupidity, perhaps he should tell the Hilltop people today, before he went to see the school Mira told them about.

Harry watched everyone making their way over, Lori was busy tending to Judith, keeping her from wanting to walk while they were on the outside of the PA. Carl and Sophia were talking quietly, obviously finding something amusing by the matching grins on their faces. He nodded in silent approval at their constant glances at their surroundings. Good, even when they were distracted by friends and family they were watching their surroundings. Not that they had to worry, since the adults were definitely on their game, Michonne's hand hardly wavered from her sword.

"Ready to return?" he called out loud enough to everyone so they could hear him. "Then let's get to the designated point!" it was the only blind spot as close to the Kingdom as possible. He wanted to get everything done quickly and go to Hogwarts for a bit. He'd made up his mind this morning, and its probably why he was being such an impatient shit the day.

Things were turning around though, before they knew it…they were going to have groups connected to each other, thriving.

Humanity might just survive yet.

Once the table – imbedded with dozens of handles so that the portkey went smoothly for the Muggles – had them returned to PA.

"Mira, Luna, Merle, Michonne and…Andrea grab packed lunches and then we're setting off to Hilltop." Harry gave his next set of orders, biting back a yawn, surprisingly tired despite a full nights rest.

"I'll grab the lunches, Luna can you get an extra set of ammunition for everyone?" Andrea suggested.

"Sure," Luna agreed, and both her and Merle begun to walk away, having confirmation of the plans, Andrea took off in the opposite direction. The others who had nothing scheduled outside of PA to do, stood talking for a few moments before taking off to check the boards to see what their tasks for the day was.

"Go on, I'll see you in a few hours," Harry laughed, seeing Daryl was practically vibrating out of his skin right next to him. "Take Anubis with you!" the dog practically worshiped Daryl, always listened to his commands, and seeing them together was mesmerising, Anubis was quiet as hell, and knew what to do by hand gestures alone.

Daryl couldn't have moved quick enough, a single sharp whistle and Anubis was vacating the communal dining room, rushing towards Daryl at top speed. Harry watched them move with a grin, more attention on Daryl naturally, jerking his head when he was shouted on, Andre, Luna and Merle were back, one handing out the food, the other ammunition. All of which was slid into their every present backpacks which they always wore when they were on the outside.

"Think you can tear your eyes off him for a second?" Luna teased as Merle grimaced, refraining from smacking Luna on top of the head for those disgusting words. He was fine with his brother being with Harry, he just didn't want to hear anything about it.

"Woman, stop it," Merle grumbled, squeezing her tightly in retaliation.

Harry just shook his head in amusement, they would never change, Luna was always going to drive Merle to distraction AND Merle was always going to have an opinion on something. He wouldn't want them any other way though, he thought as he shoved his lunch and the ammo into his pack. By the looks of it he was the last one to do it.

"Think Jesus will go for accepting the move?" Luna asked, slinging her bag back over her shoulder when Merle let go of her.

"Who knows?" Harry sighed, a thoughtful frown on his face, "Knowing magic is at the helm? Yeah, definitely, unless I've read him wrong…without magical knowledge? I don't think so, not even at the risk of the others being hurt by the Saviors."

"Risks outweigh the reward," Merle grunted, "Two miles with all those folks, ain't surprising he'd say no,"

Harry cocked his head to the side in agreement, "Yeah, true, I doubt I would have had everyone move from the prison to PA…but that's a hell of a lot longer than two miles, plus we were being attacked and we were having to move anyway." There was no choice at the end of the day.

"I'm glad I found you when I did," Mira added her own thoughts, as they unconsciously begun to form a circle, as they always did when they were either going to Portkey or Apparate.

"I'll bet Michonne is too," Merle said wryly, as always giving the truth as he saw it. Glancing in the direction his brother had gone in, almost wishing he could have gone with him. A whole day spent with mostly women would have been his idea of a good time a long ass time ago, not anymore. His brother and Luna could protect themselves, but he wasn't leaving Luna to go on the outside herself, Daryl was safe inside.

"Let's go," Michonne stated, giving Merle the stink eye, she didn't want to leave Andre too long, especially with him and Mira gone. He wasn't used to it, but since he was in 'school' so to speak with Beth and Amy he wouldn't notice.

Merle just smirked at Michonne, who knew he didn't mean anything by it.

Lori was going to be teaching Sophia and Carl what they needed to know before they went to Hershel to learn Veterinarian practices. Things were beginning to become even more settled at PA, except for the one thing Meghan needed, a teacher, to learn how to use her magic, but it wasn't something in desperate need since she was still young. By then the cupboards would be fully functional and there would be a lot more activity both at PA and at Hogwarts. Then there was Hilltop and the Kingdom, once they were safe, they could rebuild more.

Just a while longer, then he'd be able to rest easy…properly without his mind trying to figure out how to better their world (as much as they'd be able to anyway) before his time came to join the others on the other side. Who knows how long he had, nobody did, not even without the virus around had they known. Admittedly their life expectancy had deceased significantly since the apocalypse.

Harry grasped a hold of everyone, and apparated them into the woods near Hilltop, not having to worry about being 'seen' as everyone knew who they were now. Gagging softly, Harry turned away from everyone and retched, sicking up the breakfast he'd consumed before meeting with Ezekiel.

"Are you alright?" Luna asked, patting Harry on the back, somewhat concerned. Sure, Apparation can make you feel sick, but Harry was no novice, there was no reason for him to be sick. "You coming down with something?"

"No, I feel fine," Harry stated as he stood up, just as baffled as Luna at his sudden sickness. "Best keep everyone away though, we can't have everyone coming down with whatever sickness I have." Sure, they had something to help, but it was the worst sort of time to end up ill.

"Bit late for that, incubation period has probably past," Michonne pointed out, its always past by the time symptoms begin showing, there was just nothing to be done about it.

"Good point," Harry conceded, accepting the piece of chewing gum Mira passed to him, and chewing on it gratefully, the mint taking care of the disgusting sick aftertaste in his mouth. "Alright, let's go clue Jesus in."

"You still hold the same fear of judgment don't you?" Mira asked quietly, saddened for him. He was such a powerful wizard, so down to earth, a hero, yet he let everyone judge him. If she could she would have quite gladly killed those people who raised him…no raise is the wrong word, who'd abused him.

"No," Harry replied much too quickly. He certainly didn't want to talk about it either, his fears were his own, he didn't need someone to analyse him thank you very much.

Mira said nothing, she'd learned that Harry was just extremely private about certain things and only spoke when pushed to the extreme. When he did speak, it wasn't something anyone wanted to hear that a child went through.

"They've got more people posted than usual," Andrea pointed out as they came out from between the trees, still no decent weapons though she noticed. They moved together in sync so used to the way they worked they barely noticed it.

"I'm not surprised," Harry said, gazing around they'd sorted things quite well, but it wouldn't take much to break the doors again unfortunately. "They're bound to be on edge," some had probably lost good friends or worse family.

"Yeah," Andrea murmured grimly, reminded of their time in the prison, and just after they moved to PA and the constant need to look over their shoulder for the bad guy. Oh, they still looked over their shoulders, they were just able to relax a little more while actually within the confines of the PA.

The gates were opened and Jesus walked out, a tense look around him, mostly in the shoulders, but his face was open and welcoming. Jesus didn't seem to let things get him down, and especially not for long. "You've been to see Ezekiel again?" knowing that had been the plan after the disastrous results before.

"We need to talk," Harry said seriously, "Just you," he added as if he hadn't been clear enough.

"Of course," Jesus said giving the others a nod, especially Merle, "Follow me," he said twirling around in his full length leather jacket and making his way back inside. Everyone followed, and even knowing who they were, they were still watched closely as they wandered in. Evidently they weren't trusted fully yet, Harry took no offence to it, and found himself relieved that they weren't so trusting.

As always Jesus took him to the same room they always ended up in, Jesus as always went to the fireplace and stood in front of it. Back to the fireplace and staring at them just waiting for the shoe to drop.

"I'm sure you've realized by now that some of us are…different," Harry said leaning against the table, never taking his gaze from Jesus' as he spoke. "You trusted the unknown enough to call for aid through the use of the stone despite the rationality telling you that it's just a stone and it couldn't quite summon us."

Jesus nodded seriously, "Yes," agreeing with them. He had trusted the unknown, had put faith in them but he'd been desperate and had absolutely nothing to lose. That wasn't the first instance of something odd, he'd been teleported by Luna before as well, and he hadn't received an answer for that either. It wasn't implausible to think magic when he thought about it. plus, all those comics everyone loved reading superheroes always had some abilities…it wasn't far fetched to imagine those thoughts hadn't come out of nowhere after all.

"Some part of you must grasp the concept that we're magical," Luna pointed out, she'd apparated with him after all.

"I'm a wizard, I can do far more than what has already been demonstrated thus far," Harry explained, Jesus didn't even so much as twitch, he definitely thought of them as magical beings before this. He wasn't reacting the same way everyone else had, and Harry liked Jesus just that much more for it. "My abilities would make sure that any location you and your people end up inhabiting would be secure, untraceable even if someone followed you, they wouldn't be able to get in."

"Not even walkers," Michonne stated.

"One hundred percent secure," Mira added, "The only things you'd need to worry about is growing, raising livestock, salvaging what you can on the outside…and any threats you encounter on the outside."

"Any location…you make it sound as though it won't be here," Jesus pointed out his mind whirling at the ramifications of what Harry was telling him.

"There is a school two miles from here, plenty of room for everyone to have their own rooms, not stuck in trailers for the rest of their lives." Harry explained, "Kids will be able to learn, room for livestock and vegetables, fruit wheat, you name it, to grow."

"Ain't anyone gonna find you there, nearer shops in shit, closer to us, a few of our people are gonna help train your people," Merle grunted, which in his opinion should have already been done. They should be able to defend themselves by now, ain't good leadership in his book. "No more Negan, no more Saviors, no more threats, and quite frankly no more sharing your supplies."

"Which means your people will be able to eat more, they're slowly starving to death out there," Andrea stated, "Stability, happiness, contentment,"

Jesus felt hope rising in his breastbone, "What do you want in turn? For helping us?" it wouldn't be easy getting everyone two miles from their current location…but for prosperity…it would be worth it.

"I can understand why you'd think we'd want something in turn, but the truth is Jesus…we don't." Harry said grimly, "Heck, I'd invite you all to join us, but the two groups might clash. It's better for everyone that they stay within their own communities, but there might come a time when we have to join forces for whatever reason… like Negan, but right now we just want to make sure humanity survives." Negan was killing what was left of humanity right now slowly. The bad guys always thrived when chaos reigned supreme.

"And the Kingdom?" Jesus enquired.

"Will get the same offer," Harry explained sincerely. "Do you want to go and see the school? See if its somewhere you'd like to be?"

Jesus sighed softly, feeling a tense weight fly off his shoulders, could this truly be possible? "Yes," God help them, if this was true…they were at least going to survive this if he could get them all there safely. It sounded almost too good to be true, but for all this…he could have said what he wanted upfront and he would have given his all to see that he got it. He had no reason to be deceptive plus, he didn't get that sense of deception from Harry. Merle he could see being that way, but many of the others were just trying to make do in this new world they had on their hands.

"Good," Harry sighed, jerking his chin towards the door, telling him 'lets go' without saying a word. He was sick of saying those words already today and it was just beginning. "How has everyone been?" he asked as they began to leave Hilltop Colony.

"Grieving, scared, I don't think many people actually slept last night," Jesus admitted, closing the doors behind him, keeping what heat they could in the room.

"You can tell, a lot has been done," Luna pointed out everything, there wasn't even a single walkers corpse in the vicinity. "What do you do with the walker bodies?"

"Those that were one of us were buried…the rest we transported to the other side of the woods," Jesus explained, pointing out the direction they were in.

"You didn't burn them?" Merle asked, finding himself exasperated.

"No, the smell seems to keep our scents masked," Jesus explained as if they didn't already know that. Giving the go ahead for them to close the gates, indicating he wouldn't be back for a while. It was nothing new, Jesus despite being the leader now, often found himself on the outside, doing all he could for his group. He had a few trusted others to keep the place up and running while he was off scavenging.

Harry wanted to say it didn't work that way, but he refrained. He'd have to come back here once everyone was gone and get every single walker he could. The dragon could sure use the food, especially since its young would be hatching soon, it hadn't been long but it was already looking much healthier. It's scales were coming out in a beautiful colour, he often saw it flying, and seemed always glad of the company and food of course, couldn't forget the food. Added benefit of the fact once – if it happened – this damn virus stopped killing them…then there would be no bodies to reanimate the damn virus or worse change it and make it more virulent.

"No it doesn't," Merle grunted, causing Luna to smirk and shake her head, as they headed for the trees once again.

"Alright, nearly there," Harry said before the two could get into an argument. Jesus didn't seem the kind of person to do so, but he wasn't going to wait around and see. "Mira?"

Mira stepped forward, staring Harry in the eye, not once tensing up as he entered her mind, she kept all thought of the school at the forefront of her mind. Giving him as much about the surroundings as she could remember, even if she couldn't…her mind saw everything whether she processed it or not…in other words Harry could see everything she had forgotten.

She was grateful when he retreated through, it was a disconcerting feeling, especially for her, who was used to reading about magic but not having it performed upon her. "Is it enough?" she asked, hoping that it was.

"I think so," Harry said thoughtfully, a frown marring his forehead, "Only safe position would be the roof…again," but they were still going in blind, there was no guarantee it was empty, and for all they knew it wasn't just walkers that occupied the building.

"Higher the better," Merle stated, shifting his rifle further up his back, it was his preferred gun of choice, and his favourite steel weapon was a sword.

Harry laughed, "Yeah, like you thought the last time we did this?" a wry grin on his face.

Merle barked out an amused sound, true enough, but it had been a steel structure and they'd been safe enough.

"Here goes nothing," Harry said, gesturing with his finger and they automatically took up position.

Jesus watched them all step into a circle at their Leader's gesture, leaving an opening for him, he knew what was coming…at least he thought he did. So he stepped forward, and grasped a hold of Luna and Andrea, once everyone was touching, that horrible sickening feeling once again enveloped him.

They were gone from Hilltop completely within seconds, appearing on the roof of the school that had been suggested as a home base for them.

"Oh, Merlin," Luna said, clasping her hand over her mouth, sadness sweeping over her features, there were so many children here. They must have used this place as a safe destination at some point. Trapped within the confines, it didn't take much to guess what happened, someone had died or gotten sick and turned, and everyone else had just been sitting ducks.

"Well, it's secure," Harry said grimly.

"The grounds are large, stable, plenty of dirt," Michonne, refusing to let the sight of the children get to her, she'd seen too much out on her own for it to get to her.

"Lot of shops in the surrounding area," Andrea calculating them all, "Look untouched,"

"I can see why," Jesus said, the entire area was completely packed with walkers, there was hardly any room for them to maneuverer, even outside of the school grounds. "There's medical tents," he added, he was always looking for medical supplies so that was a jackpot. That's if any of it survived being trampled by the walkers.

"Petrol station across the road, makes using the bombs impossible," Harry pointed out vexation colouring his voice.

"Which means spells or doing it by hand a bit at a time," Luna sighed, feeling as annoyed as Harry, but it was a good thing to have gas around, it would make things easier for Jesus.

"Do you have the ammunition to deal with all this?" it was a lot of bullets to go through, Jesus acknowledged.

"Yes, but the question is do you want to move here? There's no point to us clearing it out if you don't," Harry stated, sitting himself on the ground, yanking out his lunch, absently handing over some to Jesus. The others copied him, so that Jesus wouldn't go hungry, they would go home to a full meal, it was obvious Jesus' people didn't have that kind of supplies to use.

"Thank you," Jesus said, remaining standing as the others made themselves comfortable on the rooftop, ignoring the shuffling and groaning of the walkers below them. Eating the sandwiches with relish, it had been such a long time since he'd eaten a proper sandwich. There was a bakery a few shops down, gas station, shops, it would give them supplies while they settled down. "Even if we get rid of the walkers here…it's no guarantee the way is clear, and not everyone has the confidence to deal with them."

"They'll be Portkey'd into the building once its taken and secured," Harry informed him, "Portkey is like what we've been doing but for more people." not informing him that it was only his power than enabled so many people to be side-long apparated as it was anyway.

"Instantaneous, and it's safe, we've done it before," Luna added mostly for Jesus benefit. It was one thing for him to trust magic but the others might not, "Although your people will need to be informed and trust us at least to get them to safety."

"They will require proof," Jesus said, they didn't know anything about what Harry had done so far, he hadn't informed them.

"Expecto Patronum!" Harry whispered, and his stag leapt from his wand, sailing through the air, stopping straight at Jesus' body and bowing before disappearing with a wave of mist. "Proof enough?"

Jesus gazed at what he'd just seen, nodding dumbly, they definitely couldn't deny it after that.

Yeah the beginning was repetitive it was even getting on my nerves sorry guys!

And Yep, going to take a while to get to the gory parts but I can't just rush it or you'll all be wondering how the hell it happened! So you'll need to endure the boring parts until it gets to the interesting ones! BUT little bits are being added that are important in the ending chapters as I made a promise so yeah…in goes the little bits you'll be going back and saying OH that's where it begun :D it's fun to write those things by the way! I'm very good at them too. I think it will be 2-3 more chapters before the shit hits the fan and the fun begins xD I'll try and update more often so that I can have this marked 'complete' too! I doubt there ever will be another Walking Dead story though so I'm going to thoroughly enjoy this one while it lasts! It's not that I don't want to write one it's just there's only so many ways you can write this sort of story you know? SO will Potter Manor begun getting used? Perhaps by the Oceanside people? Or by wizards and witches who don't want to remain in Hogwarts forever? Turn Hogwarts back into a school and Potter Manor into a city of sorts? What do you think? Read and Review please!
