Walking Dead Wizard
Chapter 94
When Daryl and Merle had returned in the wee hours of the morning, they found Luna and Harry asleep on the sofa. The two dogs lying near the fireplace, they'd immediately looked up at Daryl and Merle before relaxing again. Knowing both men were to be trusted. Neither man were inclined to move their partner, so they took seats in the living room beside them. With nothing but their thoughts to keep them company, and aches and pains, they'd ended up fighting again, Daryl furious that Merle had hit his partner. As always though, after fighting it out, they'd came to an understanding, it would not happen again. He wasn't a little kid who needed his older brother to fight his battles for him.
It spoke volumes just how exhausted Luna and Harry were that they didn't rouse when Daryl and Merle returned. Both were such light sleepers, rousing at the first sound of noise. Something they'd taken from the war back in Britain and neither had lost that sense of ingrained worry and self-preservation. Neither had Daryl or Merle for that matter. It had come in handy while they were on the outside, with the possibility of walkers at any given moment.
The guys must have eventually fell asleep, because the next thing Daryl knew was the press of fingers gentle against the bruises on his face. Eyes snapping open, he stared into familiar green eyes, finding Harry looking at him with concerned exasperation. There was no surprise there, apparently Harry must have suspected they'd fight again. "You okay?" he couldn't see how badly the fight had gone under their clothes.
"We're fine," Daryl reassured him, his gaze travelling down to Harry's abdomen unconsciously, still reeling over the news but one hundred percent accepting of this new latest revelation that came with being Harry's partner. "We decked it out,"
Harry nodded, not doubting it for a second.
"You still wanting to deal with The Kingdom people? Luna, Merle and I can get it done," Daryl offered, he was definitely going whether Harry went or not. He wasn't about to tolerate The Kingdom people acting the way those at Hilltop had. They would regret if they said anything unappropriated. He'd kill the fuckers if they were ungrateful brats.
"I'm going, it's going to be one of the last things I do for a while…I think," Harry informed him, his brow furrowed, he didn't like the thought of being confined. However, he knew he would need to take care, be careful for the interim. He might have only just found out, but this was his kid, a family he'd never dreamed of having…even in this terrible, terrible world…he thinks he finally understood Lori. As unexpected as the pregnancy was for him, he'd do nothing to endanger this new life. Admittedly he and Lori's situation was entirely different. Since he hadn't known he could, if he did, he like Luna would have probably been taking measures to ensure no pregnancies occurred. Whereas it seemed Lori hadn't taken any measures to protect herself from that. Although, Judith seems to be the whole reason Lori had calmed down, that and not worrying where the next meal was coming from and stability for her family.
"Alright," Daryl agreed, he knew better than to think for a minute he could talk Harry out of any plan of action.
"We're thinking of just using spells on The Kingdom and obscuring it from view, letting them stay here, maybe making it a little more secure." Luna joined the conversation, neither Harry or Daryl twitched, not at all surprised that she was awake and talking to them. "If they're happy and it's secure why not? It's certainly got a lot more room than Hilltop had." Actual buildings and bedrooms not a few guys living in a manor house and leaving the rest to suffer the cold in caravans and temporarily built buildings that FEMA put up. They'd chosen well, thinking long term.
"Did you perfect that spell?" Harry asked, turning to face Luna, his hand still on Daryl's shoulder.
"Yes, at least theoretically anyway," Luna answered, the sound of the bell ringing interrupted their conversation, breakfast was ready. They only used it when newcomers were there for a week, then stopped, trusting that they would go for breakfast at the correct time.
"Then you'll get your chance to test it out today," Harry commented, "I'm starving, let's go get breakfast,"
"Merle? Time to go get breakfast!" Luna called, making no other attempt to wake him up another way. She was still absolutely blindingly pissed at him for hitting her best friend. Hell, they weren't away from each other long enough for Harry to have a bloody affair never mind the fact that wasn't who Harry was.
"I'm up woman," Merle grumbled, bleary eyed, gazing at the three of them, a hint of guilt in his eyes as his eyes roamed over Harry.
"Do either of you need a pain reliever?" Harry asked, they had a steady supply of potion ingredients now, they didn't need to be quite so careful with the supply. Plus, Mira was constantly brewing, mostly to help the fruit and veg grow steadily and bigger than any fruit normally would. It had been eye opening for the Muggles seeing strawberries the size of tennis balls and Pumpkins the size of their chests sometimes bigger. It allowed the food to feed more people in the long run.
"Nah, we're alright," Daryl muttered.
"We've had worse," Merle added, and it was true enough, a little bruising wasn't going to kill them. "I'm sorry," he spat out uncomfortably, truthfully he'd rather fucking walk over glass than say those words, ever again. The look on his face made him look like he was in more physical pain than the beating he'd received from Daryl last night.
"It's fine, but do it again and I'll do something considerably worse," Harry warned him, and Merle knew he was serious. He always did, it's why Merle had never called him boy again, and he knew Merle would never lift a hand to him again either. He kept his promises, and that was exactly he was saying, a promise to retaliate, he'd received his only free shot.
Luna gave him a look that suggested he wasn't quite off the hook with her just yet.
"Lets go then," Harry stated, his stomach rumbling hungrily.
With that the four of them begun to head out towards the communal dinning room, the newcomers from Hogwarts were just slightly ahead of them. Harry gave them a nod, they still looked rather overwhelmed that there was such a massive setting of Muggles that had survived when so many of their own had died. That those with magic couldn't survive where those without had. It was a bitter pill to swallow, but hopefully it would give them a new and respectful understanding that Muggles weren't all that different to them.
It was risky bringing them here, but he had to trust that they weren't the impulsive children they used to be. Hopefully Susan Bones would be able to enable the peace being kept while the group acclimated. He liked to think they wouldn't use magic on someone when they couldn't fight back. If any of them dared to hurt one of his own…he would teach them a lesson they'd never be likely to forget.
When Harry, Luna, Merle and Daryl finally joined them, Harry had to laugh a little. The group had zeroed in on the only other magical person there. Meghan was listening with rapt attention to something Marcus Flint was telling her from where she sat on Susan Bones knee, who had a wistful look about her.
Hela and Anubis had zoomed away to their bowls, which was always filled first, and they were lucky and got scraps, but not in the way of much that would allow them to worry over the extra food they were given. Especially not considering the exercise those two did all day and night. Plus, who's insane enough to leave food not eaten?
Lori also occasionally offered something to the conversation, a small smile on her face. Rick who sat nearby, seeing as they shared a child together, and little else these days, was eating his breakfast, blatantly ignoring the newcomers. Which was progress, he normally glared and generally had an air of upset and irritation, presumably because he had no say in anything that went on.
"So, what's happening today then?" Andrea asked, cup of coffee half way to her lips, watching everyone surrounding her, but her attention was primarily focused on Harry.
"We're going to The Kingdom, tell them everything and then offer them, should they desire it, a chance for their 'Kingdom' to be warded to ensure their safety." Harry explained, nobody seemed to be startled by the change of plans, it happened all the time in this world. "Speaking off, one of you let Ezekiel know about the change in plans." He didn't intend to wait around all day, he wasn't in the mood.
"So no plans to move them?" Michonne asked.
"I'll do it," Luna whispered quietly, before moving to the side, calling Ezekiel on the phone's they'd set up. Wanting to get away from the noise and the questions, which was par of the course.
"If they don't want to, no, but if they do, then it will require planning, Hilltop's planning was pure luck on our part," Harry mused, as always happy to answer any questions they had if there was time.
"What if some do and some don't?" Mira queried, it was a potential problem.
"I could see a lot of the women wanting to leave," Amy put in, grinning at the sight of magic, glancing over at Luna and found her helping Carol and Sophie get the food served quicker. Plates filled with food began to float through the air and land on the table, along with cutlery they'd need. Glasses filled with juice – orange today – the others had plucked them off the trees and pressed them so it was very fresh.
"No, they think they have it good there," Beth shook her head, they were seemingly content with their lot in life.
"I spoke to more than a few of them, that's not entirely true," Andrea refuted that belief.
"He's gonna start training em," Daryl said, of that he had no doubt. "Harry suggested it, he'll go through with it." they'd need it a lot less after the wards go up.
"You putting the cupboards up so they can visit here?" Big Tiny asked, he had a heart of gold despite his past. If anyone new found out after being here a few weeks, they'd not believe it. Not that it was spread around, nobody cared about his past, he'd proved himself and that was good enough for them.
"I don't know yet what I intend to do," Harry said thoughtfully, "I need to figure it out, it has a lot of pros but also a whole lot of cons." Muggles could get through though so that was one thing at least.
"If you need to think about it, then it should be a straight up no," Flint stated, "If you of all people need to think whether you can trust em, well, I doubt you'll change your mind, Potter."
"It's not just Muggle communities," Harry pointed out, absently beginning to eat his breakfast as everyone else was. "There's also Ilvermorny, and if things go the way I think, there will be another set up in Potter estate…" which would house dozens upon dozens of people, and probably best that they all be magical or at least have a grasp on magic and fully accepting it being cast all the time. Even he didn't cast magic all that often in reality, unless they were on the outside.
"I can see why you aren't using it now," Susan spoke, soft and soothing, "This place is massive, it makes Hogwarts look…like…like a shack." Meaning the shrieking shack.
"It's the perfect location," Harry agreed, with many all immediately agreeing with his assessment.
"Okay, he'll be ready for us," Luna said, sliding into her seat, "Right now they're training so many of them are already in the court yard, the perfect place for the announcement."
"Good," Merle agreed, perfect spot, if they tried anything though…he wasn't going to be merciful.
"Where are we going?" Flint wanted to know.
"I have the book from Ilvermorny, now you'll all have to go together if Susan is the only one you feel comfortable with going since she will understand how to not completely terrify them." Harry said dryly, "Either that or split into two groups and one has Susan and the other…Mira."
"What about me? My sister and I went through the same thing with Meghan?" Tara suggested, she wanted to get out there and do something. It had been a shock to learn her niece had magic, and it was the only reason they'd survived, they'd known sooner or later where they were would be overrun by the walkers. Fortunately, Harry had come at a good time, since their supplies were dwindling too. Plus, their dad hadn't died in pain, he'd gone peacefully in his sleep.
"Not really the same thing, Meghan never showed signs of magic, you didn't know until I showed you." Harry said, "Plus, you've not been around magic long enough to explain it to very cautious and scared people." he patiently explained it to her. "They might be using magic to hide hence we need someone with magic to detect them and show they're genuine." explaining why those with magic had to be the ones to go.
"Mira? That's the woman who showed us where we were sleeping yesterday wasn't it?" Lavender Brown questioned, "Marius' Black's daughter?"
"Yes," Harry confirmed, at the same time Mira said, "I am," confirming it.
"Two groups will ensure we get more work done, but we don't have Portkey's, it might be a big group, what do we do then?" Susan postulated.
"One of you returns here to tell us or you all go back and forth until you have everyone," Harry stated, shrugging his shoulder, "You never learnt how to make Portkey's?" gazing at Montague, Flint and Davis in particular.
"I focused on Defence," Montague admitted.
"Potions," Flint confessed.
"Healing," Davis answered in turn, "We probably all have a Mastery in the subject at this point."
"We all had to focus on something, otherwise life at Hogwarts would have been stifling beyond comprehension. We've all taken classes too, helped the younger years learn classes that weren't even at Hogwarts anymore." Zabini shrugged, "It was fun," plus, no homework was given out.
"It was a little," Luna agreed, but she'd gotten out and came immediately to find Harry and had never once regretted it.
"Okay, so splitting into two groups, I'll give each of you a location and a name," Harry decided. Wondering what time those at The Kingdom got up at that they were already training. "We'll head to the Kingdom and we'll probably be gone until near enough lunch time." This he was telling everyone so they knew what to expect.
"Any scavenging getting doing?" Oscar asked.
"Why not? Remember to take your emergency Portkey's." Harry ordered, "I'll make you guys some, but I suggest you read up on them and educate yourselves. It's a pretty handy skill to have right now. Do not work passed three o'clock, I want you all back by then." he ordered them, not that he needed to worry, he would know the moment something happened if it did. He had made sure to safeguard them as much as possible if anything went wrong.
"We will," they promised, knowing better than to roll their eyes at Harry's real and very genuine concern.
"Andrea and Michonne will be in charge of any outings," Harry added absently, "Be careful,"
"You should take some back up," Mira suggested, "The Kingdom has a significantly higher number than Hilltop, more ways for it to go wrong." She understood the prejudice better than anyone could fathom. Hated and disgusted for not having magic, but knowing how magic was seen by some of those Non-wizards in the know. Sure as a young girl she's been jealous as hell that she hadn't been gifted with magic. Yet her father showed her she was still capable of magic, she didn't need the showy kind. She'd been hooked ever since. It had been the bonding time between father and daughter, potions.
"Carl and Axel," Harry decided, "You all finished?" glancing in their direction.
Lori looked on with worried eyes, but she no longer held that all encompassing fear that something would happen to him. Not on Harry's watch anyway, he was always careful.
"He'll be brought back safe and sound, remember he has his own Portkey," Harry threw Lori a reassuring word, knowing without needing to that she'd be worried.
"I'd prefer to come with my son," Rick stated, his voice calm and centred.
Harry glanced at Hershel, who was in effect Rick's keeper. Hershel gave a solemn nod, Rick was getting better.
"Alright, this is your one opportunity to prove yourself," Harry said, when Rick opened his mouth, Harry added, "To me," whatever he was going to say, nobody knew, since his mouth snapped closed wordlessly. "Screw up and you won't get a second chance."
Flint watched the interaction between the two, arching a brow in curiosity, wondering what the Muggle had done to gain Potter's ire. It was difficult to piss Potter off, only Draco had been able to get his hackles raised, and mostly through mentioning his friends, even Draco wouldn't bring up his parents. Nobody was that suicidal after finding out what happened to his aunt if rumours were to be believed.
"Alright," Rick agreed, knowing if he argued then Harry would rescind his offer and he'd be back to square one. This was a chance to prove he had what it took, and it's more than Harry had offered in the past. To be truthful he was shocked that he had agreed to be fair, every attempt had been met with immediate refusal. So, he curbed the desire to argue that he'd more than proved himself, it wasn't his fault entirely that things had gone down the way they had.
With that Michonne and Andrea begun to call out names, picking those they wanted in their teams. Andrea took Amy, Big Tiny, Patrick and Sophia. Michonne took Maggie, Glenn, Oscar, Beth and last but no means least T-Dog.
Harry rummaged about in his ever present bag and wrote out information on a piece of paper twice, before handing them to Mira and Susan. "These are the names and locations on where you'll find them. Good luck guys."
"We'll get them," Susan reassured Harry, "Just you take care of yourself and keep relaxed as possible."
"Good," Harry said, glad that more people could be saved if nothing else, with more people on the scene.
"What was it, by the way, that you wanted to tell us?" Lori asked, hosting her daughter into her arms, soon she wouldn't be able to do that. She was getting too big, big but beautiful and she was so happy to be able to see her daughter grow.
Harry swallowed thickly, the urge to tell them and Apparate away from the storm was…tempting. But no, he wasn't a coward, he would explain everything they wanted to know, answer all their questions. Just like he had done in the past when they had actually learned about magic itself. It wasn't fear that they wouldn't accept him, he'd lost that fear a long time ago, it was just an irrational ball of worry, in his stomach. There was no mental recriminations stating that this was all going to go wrong, or sneakiness of any kind actually.
"It's going to take a while to explain, well not the initial explanation but I'm sure you're all going to have questions…so, I'd rather wait until we're back for this evening." Harry explained, everyone automatically shrugged and nodded, with that they parted ways.
Marcus Flint blinked, "Wait that's it?" he asked, his mouth screwed up in an odd O look, his crooked teeth looking even more crooked. Staring at everyone just leaving after only one reassurance from Harry? Which had just been basically that everything's alright but they'd have to wait until tonight?!
"They know it's not an emergency, I wouldn't keep something that vital from the group." Harry explained, shrugging his shoulders. "They're used to how it is." He added, staring out at the homes they occupied, hopefully more would be joining them, and if they weren't a good fit, Potter Estate was just a minute away.
Flint nodded his understanding, "We gotta go, you going to give us the secret?" they wouldn't be able to get back in without it.
"Oh, that's me, here," Luna said, handing over a piece of paper, watching it like a hawk as it was passed around everyone before Luna snatched it immediately back and set it aflame. They really couldn't risk such a stupid accident as a group of people finding out about this place because they got sloppy. She relaxed a bit once it was put out, nobody liked writing out the 'Secret' so to speak and was always relieved when it was over.
"Wait why did you do that? How can anyone bring newcomers in if we cannot tell them the secret?" Lavender asked, staring at the ashes that were a pile on the floor dismayed.
"They can use the Portkey but must be told the secret before leaving again. They can also be apparated to the gate and one of us summoned so they can be granted entrance. It's the only way to ensure our safety, I mean this operation is only going to get bigger." Harry informed them, "If they have to wait a few more minutes for everyone's safety then that's exactly what they'll do."
"Good point," Montague, completely agreeing with Harry, and all he other Slytherin's did too, Susan frowned a bit but ultimately and silently agreed. She might be loyal and loving, but she wasn't an idiot, she knew or rather…believe she knew what people were like and how some might not be as nice as they seem.
"You doing alright?" Harry asked them, aware that for some it was their first venture into the Muggle world. As magically concealed as this place was, it was ultimately Muggle in nature.
"We're fine," Davis reassured Potter, they'd agreed to this, they knew what they were getting into, Severus had explained everything to them. They weren't ignorant, they had known everything before agreeing to it.
Harry nodded, "I'll see you this evening then," and with that Harry and his group Apparated away, including Carl and axel who had been standing beside them patiently waiting. All of them equipped with their usual weaponry, at least one knife and a gun.
"Should we just walk?" Harry suggested, not feeling like unshrinking the car and driving it less than half a mile before getting out again. Not when they were all about to become aware of magic and what he could do.
"Yeah," Axel murmured, he was used to walking everywhere these days, unlike the others he didn't actually leave P.A all that much, only if he was asked to join in on an outing, which wasn't very often.
"What are we doing here anyway?" Carl asked, unlike everyone else, he didn't know the full story. As much as he was able to listen in on everyone's conversations, it didn't mean he got the full picture. Especially if that 'picture' wasn't discussed at all.
"We're here to inform The Kingdom about magic and the fact we can make them safe." Harry informed Carl as he moved swiftly along the road leading up to the Kingdom boarders, letting them see his approach. "If they accept it we'll make this whole place disappear from view." Hand waving in the direction of the looming Kingdom.
Nobody was surprised to see seven riders in the distance, more than usual, but they were decidedly on edge.
"Harry, Ezekiel is expecting you," one of the young men Harry had only met two or three times stated from atop of his horse, a tense smile on his face, as his companions constantly scanned the horizon for any potential threat they might encounter.
"I'm sure he is, thank you Evan," Harry replied, missing the startled look on his face at being remembered, "Come on then," his gaze on the others to make sure they were alright.
"I have to take your weapons," Evan said apologetically, as he jumped down from his horse, ready to do what must be done.
With a subtle smirk, Harry handed his over, as did the others Axel and Carl last. "I want that back, it belongs to my dad," he argued, giving over the revolver.
"You will, on your way back out." Evan promised, as he packed everything away and made sure they had no other weapons, or the appearance of ones anyway.
Unbeknown to Evan Harry had a massive arsenal of weapons that all he had to do was put his hand in his pocket or summon them and he'd get them immediately. If he had been the bad guy, there would have bene no hope in hell of a chance for them at all.
"You want to ride or walk?" Evan asked.
"Walk," Merle, Harry and Daryl echoed immediately and sounding like they'd rather walk over glass than ride on the back of someone they didn't full trust or ride at all without the reigns.
Luna gave the horse a thoughtful look before shrugging, it didn't matter to her, but she doubted Merle would be happy to let her ride off with a stranger anyway. She preferred magical creatures to be fair, and rather hoped they had survived…she didn't like to think otherwise. At least there were creatures safe at PA including dragons.
"Go on I'll take them," Evan stated to the other riders, before remaining with his feet firmly on the ground, taking the reigns and walking with them, the horse trotting along behind them.
The other riders left, continuing their check of the boundaries to ensure their safety.
"Everyone's waiting for you in the courtyard," Evan said, curiosity clearly displayed, throwing them a look as if hoping to know before everyone else.
Everyone just gave him a smirk, he did not have a subtle bone in his body.
Evan just shrugged, it was worth a try.
The walk to the Kingdom didn't take long at all with them all making a brisk pace of it. Nobody dawdled these days, it was much too dangerous for that. Although, they must be quite careful keeping their area free of walkers, since you never actually see any. Dead or alive, well, relatively speaking anyway considering the corpse are actually dead remains that a virus had reanimated.
"Merlin," Luna whispered, she'd known there were a lot of people in The Kingdom, but seeing them all together in the courtyard was eye opening to say the least. It was by far the largest community numbers they'd seen since this whole thing begun.
"Agreed," Harry murmured, he'd never truly realized the full scope of their numbers.
Axel tensed his body thrumming with alertness as he observed everyone. He knew what was about to be told, and he also knew how the others had reacted at Hilltop. This group was much larger, anything could happen so he wanted to be on alert should the worst begin.
"Ezekiel," Harry said in agreeing, giving a nod to the leader of The Kingdom.
"Harry, Daryl, Merle, Luna and your companions, welcome," Ezekiel gave them a small smile, genuinely happy to see them. "Luna was rather cryptic on the phone, what is it you need to tell everyone?" now wasn't that an odd phrase to utter again? On the phone, it had been such a long time since he used technology.
"It's something you must all be told, and a decision must be reached," Harry explained.
"And what is that 'something'?" Ezekiel asked, worry prominently displayed.
"You'll see," Harry answered, "It's not something that can be kept from them." gesturing towards Ezekiel's people obviously.
"Very well," Ezekiel agreed, stepping back, giving him the go ahead to speak to his people.
"Ladies and gentlemen can I have your attention please?" Harry called out loudly, so that everyone could hear him. All at once they quietened down and turned their attention to Harry, curious and cautious, some were familiar with them, due to their recent visits. "Now I'm sure by this point you've already been briefed on Negan and the Saviors?"
A chorus of angry mutinous 'Yes's' penetrated the air, clearly they weren't happy that something of this magnitude had been kept from them.
"I agree, it was wrong to keep it from you, but do not think for a moment Ezekiel doesn't care about each and every one of you. He bore a tremendous burden alone rather than frighten everyone. It could have gone wrong, but you must remember that it hasn't." Harry said, gazing around, green eyes gleaming seriously. Many looked down and away feeling guilty, others just bore Harry's gaze stoically. As if to say 'here I am not panicking' over the news.
"Now, I'm going to impart another piece of knowledge for you, but its one Ezekiel himself isn't familiar with." Harry continued, "One that affects all of you. It will give you unprecedented safety, without having to fear the Saviors, Negan or sharing your produce with anyone and more importantly…other humans that might not have the best of intentions."
"You cannot promise them that," Ezekiel said, almost desperate for it to be true but realizing it was fools hope.
"Oh, but I can," Harry said seriously, but no less solemn, in an echo of his other meeting, but this time it wasn't a bystander from Hilltop stating he couldn't and shouldn't be promising that, instead it was Ezekiel who looked just as hopeful, he could feel it exuding from the guy. "I'm a wizard. I have magical abilities, I…" the outcry drowned out whatever Harry wanted to say next. He did hear that he needed 'locking up' because they thought he was mad.
"Expecto Patronum!" and with that a stag sailed out the tip of Harry's wand, wonderous and majestic, prancing around like smoke, easing some of the fear that had clung to them for so long. A few brave hands reached out to touch it, awed and amazed. "Yes, I'm a wizard, I have magic, I can cast spells, no I didn't sacrifice babies or animals to get it, I was born this way. I can make it so this place is unplottable. It will in turn make you untouchable within the wards. Unless, you would prefer finding somewhere else to stay and sorting that up." Given the amount of children they had…he seriously doubted they would, this place was quite decent.
"Is this…real?" Ezekiel asked, staring at the stag, which was beginning to fade, no wires, no lights, no electricity. There was no possible way to fake this, it just didn't seem likely.
"Is it," Harry said, giving him a small reassuring smile, surprised beyond belief that they were all believing him and none were crying him out to be devil, was it out of sheer desperation for safety? Smarter than those at Hilltop? Or just lucky enough not to have anyone overly religious in their ranks? Then again, you didn't get more religious than Hershel and maybe Carol and they had fully accepted him without much delay. Still, he couldn't believe the ultimate acceptance he was receiving here.
Not even his own people had accepted him so thoroughly.
It was a good feeling.
"But how…" Ezekiel murmured, completely blown away.
"Magic," Harry replied wryly. "It will only take a few hours, and this entire place will be walled off, and I do mean that literally…you'll only have one true entrance and exit…" Harry groaned, falling to his knees as he clutched his head.
"Shit," Luna muttered, as Daryl grabbed him and prevented him falling forward.
"The others?" Merle deduced, he'd had the same reaction to Carl but not quite so severely.
"At least two, and it must be bad…" Luna said breathlessly, "Harry? Harry can you hear me?"
"Back up a bit," Axel warned everyone, not feeling too comfortable about them approaching Harry when he was vulnerable.
Ezekiel immediately made a gesture for them to back off, which they did, right away. "What's going on?"
"Harry? Can you tell who it is?" Luna continued to try and get through to Harry.
"Two dead," Harry croaked out, "Three are unconscious,"
Carl and Axel's eyes widened in shock while Daryl, Luna and Merle just nodded grimly having expected something like this.
"Where are they?" Luna enquired, rubbing his back, trying anything that would bring Harry back to now.
"On…on…on the move," Harry rasped out, breathing out raggedly, kneeling with his backside on his heels of his feet. "Sophia," Sophia was with that group, he tried to convey what he knew, but Harry wasn't certain his words were coming out right, everything felt so far away and everything was so very, very dizzy.
There we go! getting to the main part of the next part of the plot for this story :P thank goodness didn't think id ever get there to be honest but as I promised you will see the continuation of Harry's pregnancy but it will probably just be lovely dovey surviving the end of the world stuff just bear in mind :) this will probably be the last battle that's written about ;) R&R please!
