James T. Kirk was an omega who defied the stereotypes to become the youngest Starfleet captain in history. Leonard McCoy will also join their marriage and eventually a child.

From the time she was little, Maggie knew she wanted to explore, to be among the stars. She had a restless soul that could not stay rooted to one spot. When she was 11 a soul mark appeared on her wrist, but that did not stop her from perusing her dream of being an engineer and eventually joining the flagship Enterprise.

A luscious planet looks like a fairy-tale place to Federation colonists. Until people start disappearing… The Enterprise is sent there with supplies and investigative mission. What the Enterprise officers encounter looks like myths come alive – or the mythical trials of character they have to pass. The roots are deep... Is it magic or life lessons? And why are they climbing a tree?

McCoy was tired of it. He was tired of watching her chase after the wrong man. He was tired of being in love with her and it going unnoticed. What happens when he gets drunk one night and lets her know how he really feels?

This is one I felt I HAD to write. In The Entropy Effect Braithewaite was very unfair to Mandala Flynn; I thought Captain Hunter should've corrected him. Here, she does.

There's no category for The Voyage Home or the movies per se. This tells Gillian's tale of her working in Starfleet and then helping the humpbacks to re-establish themselves.

After a transporter malfunction, Kirk finds himself again in the mirror universe. Only this time he's alone, and little more than a slave after Spock's takeover of the ship. With no friends or influence in that world, he finds an unexpected ally in the ISS Enterprise's Doctor. In order to return to his own world, he'll have to form an awkward relationship with him...

Stuck in World War I, Kirk, Spock, Chapel, McCoy, and Chekov face heartache and mortal danger. Hoping to get home without changing history, they can't help becoming attached to the people around them. Have they fallen victim to time travel or is all they experience an illusion? And how can things ever be all right again if so much bad has happened?

Ensign Janice Rand is kidnapped by a serial killer... Can Kirk and Spock save her in time?

McCoy is concerned about Spock after the episode "All Our Yesterdays." Just because it technically happened 5,000 years ago didn't mean that it didn't also just happen.

T'Khasi, always harsh on her own children, seems to spare this half-breed adopted one. Every time he leaves the civilized oasis of Shi'Kahr and walks away on his own, trying to get lost in the timeless beauty of the landscape – he never really gets lost. "T'Khasi, I am yours. I was born here. I claim my birthright". Young Spock in the wilderness of Vulcan.

He didn't give up for a long time. It was irrational, it was stubborn, it was desperate. But he couldn't give up. After all, it was not the first time such thing happened. And all the previous times he succeeded in finding what he lost, even when no one else believed in it and in him. Kirk lost in the Nexus, Spock did what a telepath would - search for him with his mind. No slash!

A collection of our dear old country doctor's rants. He is right even when he is wrong ;). Some rants are connected to episodes and movies, some are quite random and feature various moments of life or made-up events. Who or what has caused the doctor's righteous wrath is usually clear, who is listening is sometimes not (anyway, Dr. Bones often has a habit of talking to himself).

No matter how hard he tries, Spock always seems to fall short of full Vulcan control. Trigger warning, because you can justify almost any behaviour with logic if you try hard enough. But Spock & McCoy and eventual Kirk/Spock, so yay!

Requiem for Methuselah is one of my favorite ST:TOS episodes. I saw a photoset on tumblr recently where there was a photoset implying that what McCoy was saying was about Kirk/Spock. Even though I ship it as well, I can't help but think it's all about Spock/McCoy. I love this ship. This ficlet was inspired by that photoset.
