A normal young man from Earth is taken from his world and dropped into his favorite JRPG. Now, with a new look, a new arm, and new powers, he'll join Cloud and company on their quest to prevent the destruction of the world at the hands of Sephiroth and Jenova. Western AU. Cloud thinks that he found an easy way to make money - all he has to do is deliver supplies and kill some monsters from a nearby town, and get paid handsomely to do so. But things fall apart, and he finds himself sucked back into the high-stakes world of outlaws and old debts that need repaying. He had crawled out of it before... but he's not sure if he can do it again.

Cloud isn't the only one to fail SOLDIER after weeks of boot camp. (Though he is the smallest. And the youngest. And, you know, illegal.) Cloud does not doubt he would be the most hated man in the army, soon to be kicked out, no doubt, if it weren't for one single thing.  Chocobos. Cloud is good with chocobos.

Sephiroth doesn't often get fanmail... or any mail. ShinRa screens more or less every aspect of his life, after all. So when he receives a package, he's understandably curious. He opens it to find... a video game, of all things. Final Fantasy VII? What a useless waste of time... that Hojo would highly disapprove of... Hmm. Perhaps just this once...

Tifa really, really likes Cloud's muscles.

Love like that, Cloud, it's not found very often." It wasn't destiny that he was supposed to marry Lord Zachary Fair. In fact, Cloud would call it purely accidental. Purely.

The Cetra, Caretakers, and Children of Minerva have watched and sustained the world for untold ages introducing a period of harmony and success that is said to be guided by the High King of the Cetra and the Oracle of Minerva, yet it is with this harmony heralds the Calamity of the Skies.

With his Geostigma healed and the guilt he's been carrying alleviated, Cloud is finally ready to move on and start living a new life with his family at his side. But realizing that Tifa is still battling demons of her own, Cloud doesn't hesitate to drop everything to remind her that she's strong and that he'll always be there for her. Takes place shortly after ACC.
