Danny decided to start dating again after Annette died and he winds up with the woman who tried to quit the Empire. Problem one? Taylor is gay and very not okay with having an ex-Nazi as an almost stepmother. Problem two? Kayden is actually a very good almost stepmother. An alternate trigger, coupled with a mother who is both present and caring, cause the Bay's politics to crumble.

Taylor always wanted to be a hero, but she's found there are too many obstacles holding her back. As if her impatience and rebellious nature weren't bad enough, her power provided things like the disposable laser-goose. And there was no way that the PR Department would let that fly. Perhaps she wasn't cut out for the hero life after all?

Taylor doesn't get to control insects. Instead, she controls things that are slightly... smaller. Tinker/Master Taylor. Updates weekly, hopefully. Based more on fanon than canon.

There was never going to be any way for a bug controlling hero to be a cuddly PR-friendly Ward, especially when said hero is an antisocial teen.
