This is an excercise I challenged myself to just to see if I could do it. It's called Rule of Seven because there are seven rules. For each rule there are five subjects. Each subject gets a little drabble that is no more nor less than 100 words. So, read on and tell me what you think! Which ones you like, hate, or are just blah. Gaia has become nothing more than a fruitless planet with little flora and very few fauna left living on it's surface. Among the minimal plant and animal life still present, there is only one man. Cursed with an existence as Guardian of the Planet, Cloud Strife is the only human alive on the forsaken lands of Gaia. That is until another is thrust unexpectedly back into existence.

It's easy to get overwhelmed in a busy world of real jobs, bad dates, meaningless flings and two badly deteriorating relationships. For five friends, however, they take comfort in knowing that the one constant thing in their lives is each other. ASGZC.

A year after Omega fell Cloud still finds himself haunted by the ghosts of his past. When the WRO creates a new SOLDIER program to help their stricken planet, will ghosts stay in the past? Or open the door to a new future. Is this new race of Angels the answer to our salvation? Cloud and Zack, Yaoi. Based loosely on SOLDIERs of the WRO.

Rufus Shinra finds himself stuck in an elevator with General Sephiroth, and learns a few things about war.

An unforseen meeting down in the Shin-Ra labs, that may change everything Sephiroth thought about himself and his place in the world. Set during the events of Crisis Core, slightly AU.

After her last moments in the Forgotten City, Aerith wakes up to find herself in the very presence of the man who took her life. And no matter what she does, she just can't seem to figure him out. But their initial dislike of each other eventually gives way to something deeper. Meanwhile, the rest of the Planet lies in chaos.

S5E6 - Rufus holds a video game tournament on company time and money. The result is a battle of the sexes.

Cloud and Zack go on a mission leaving Reno at home where he hangs out with Rude. Reno begins thinking after talking with Rude and has depressed himself to the point Rude intervenes and tells Cloud and Zack the day they return. Summary sucks...

She was beautiful. She was graceful. And now, she was dead. Aerith was everything Tifa was not. It stands to reason that the bartender was jealous of the flower girl. Tifa's POV, post-game.

An altered flight path causes the Turks to find Zack and Cloud before the army does, but don't think things'll be perfect just because Zack's still alive. The Turks have their own problems to contend with, and let's not forget about Sephiroth and Deepground. Runs from the end of CC to where AC would have ended. Pairings mostly canon. Everything changed when Reno sneezed...

AU. When Jenova spreads her poisonous influence, Sephiroth isn't the only one affected. Things happen a little differently in Nibelheim, and Gaia is changed forever. Eventual SZC.
