Based on the Tumblr prompt "Castle gets a tattoo" I made it kinda fluffy.

Sequel to "An Unexpected Little Surprise". Can be read without reading the first one if you check the AN. Aidan finds out about Kate's little secret. Will it be a happy Christmas after Castle finds out?

Based on a tumblr prompt: AU Kate is a patient in a burn unit and Rick is her doctor.

Set in season 4 when Castle and Beckett are trapped in the trunk Beckett becomes scared and Castle tries to comfort her, while trying to forget that they are practically on top of each other. Story is AU and Kate is sorta OC. Rating is T but may go to M later

Spoilers for Reckoning and all of Season 7 really. What did Beckett really mean at the end of the show? I found myself needing to write this very short fic to sort out my own feelings on things. First Castle fic.

Castle once said he wanted to be invisible so that he could find out what Beckett's father really thinks of him. In this episode insert for 7 x 06, he gets his chance.

Post-ep for Reckoning. She has never been a particularly vain person. She knows she's pretty. She's been told it enough times. But it's never been something that she's focused on. It's just been part of her identity. Until now.

"They'd both been in life or death situations before -together- but it's always infinitely worse when she's alone and there's nothing he can do to save her. It's a good think she's as remarkable, maddening, and challenging as she is. He decides to add 'resourceful' to that list in his next dedication." Castle's thoughts while watching Beckett after she finally falls asleep.
