When the residents of Dillydale who were closest to the evil human realized he was the one who was threatening their town, they quickly backed away from him, some of them staring at him as if they were afraid that he'd do something to them if they turned their backs to him.

Fear ran through Mr. Small, and he hid behind his best friend, glancing at Tyler past the light green legs of Mr. Nosy. He could feel his friend stiffen as if he was frightened to see how Tyler showing up would play out.

Mike continued to meet Tyler's eyes without flinching away from him.

He's so brave, thought Mr. Small, suddenly feeling thankful for the human who showed up shortly after Tyler made his appearance. It was then that he realized something for the first time. Scarlet had been in Dillydale for a few days before these other humans revealed themselves; was it possible they got here when the young girl did but they didn't want anyone to know about their presence?

As Mr. Small looked around at his friends in the park, he realized it was too late for that, and now the two humans stood in front of each other, looking as if they were ready to settle this once and for all.

But if they do fight, what would happen to Dillydale? Mr. Small didn't want to think that they could possibly ruin the town in their attempt to settle a personal battle.

A new voice made Mr. Small focus on the scene that was happening not far from him. It was Tyler who was finally replying to Mike.

"I thought we saw the last of you when we destroyed your world," the evil human remarked as he glared at Mike while Micheal hung behind his friend with an uncertain look in his eyes.

The brown-haired guy let the slightest of smirks show on his face, looking past Tyler at the short boy. "Do you still want to be a part of this, Micheal?" he asked him. "Even after you saw what they are capable of? After you witness for yourself what they truly want? I think you are better than that," he added as he took a step toward the boy.

Smart move, Mr. Small thought when he realized what Mike was doing. The small Mr. Man could tell that Micheal didn't approve of anything Tyler was doing, and Mike was using this to hopefully turn the short boy against his friend.

For a few moments it looked like Micheal was thinking about what Mike just said, but suddenly Tyler pushed Mike away from them. "He's not going to listen to you." He glared at the short boy behind him. "Isn't that right, Micheal?" His voice had a warning tone to it as if he was daring Micheal to disagree with him.

The boy hung his head and murmured out an agreement, avoiding looking at anyone.

Mr. Small frowned as he stared up at Micheal. Stand up for yourself, he silently begged the human, wishing he could tell him this, but with Tyler here he knew it'd be best if he kept quiet so he did.

However Mr. Grumpy didn't seem to think the same for he pushed between a couple of friends and stood beside Tyler, crossing his arms with an annoyed expression on his face.

"How about you just leave so we can get back to normal?" he asked, his voice sounding tired like he was ready for all this to be over.

Mr. Small understood that. He hoped soon they could save Scarlet and run Tyler out of Dillydale for good.

Tyler jerked his head to the blue Mr. Man, his eyes blazing with anger. "Back off," he growled. "Unless you want me to show your friends what I am really capable of." He suddenly gave an evil smile that sent shivers down Mr. Small's back.

Then, to Mr. Small's horror, Mr. Nosy took a step forward and asked," What are you capable of?"

Tyler seemed pleased that he asked that question, and he walked over to the light green Mr. Man, waving his hand around til it started glowing. When it was bright yellow, Mr. Small watched as his best friend was lifted off the ground. Mr. Nosy kicked out his legs in mid-air, using his fingers to feel around his throat.

Suddenly Mr. Small was reminded that Tyler did the same thing to him when he was in Scarlet's body. It felt like an invisible force was choking me, he remembered.

Then he realized that his friend was in trouble. Jumping into the air, Mr. Small grabbed onto Mr. Nosy's leg, but he didn't feel like he made a difference, clearly since he was so small, but still, he tried his hardest to try to pull him down.

Relief washed over Mr. Small when he saw Mr. Strong walking over to help, but the moment he tried to pull Mr. Nosy down, the light green Mr. Man let out a sickening choking noise.

Mr. Strong let go of him and stepped back, staring wide eyed at the two friends.

After another moment of hanging in the air, Mr. Nosy suddenly fell to the ground with Mr. Small, but before his friend could crush him, the small Mr. Man jumped out of the way, landing on his stomach in the grass.

He was still in a daze as he stumbled over to his friend's side. Mr. Nosy was on his hands and knees, coughing as he tried to take in enough air.

Glancing up, Mr. Small saw that Mike had Tyler pinned to the ground, holding his arms down so he couldn't use his magic. It was then that he realized something.

"You didn't tell us that Tyler had magic," Mr. Small said to Mike as he helped Mr. Nosy to his feet. "You only said that you and Scarlet had powers. Don't you think that is an important thing you should have mentioned?" he added, feeling his anger spill over when he realized Mike almost got his best friend seriously hurt or worse.

Mike turned to the small Mr. Man but before he could speak, Tyler struggled under him so the brown-haired human tightened his grip. Finally he was able to reply to Mr. Small when Tyler was still. "The last time I saw him he wasn't that powerful so I didn't think it mattered."

"I've been practicing my magic, like you have," Tyler spoke up, glaring up at Mike.

Mike matched his eyes, the calmness gone as anger replaced it. "Then why do you still want Scarlet?" he demanded, shaking Tyler which made him slam his head against the hard concrete but the evil human didn't seem to notice.

"Because her magic is different," he answered. "We tried going through with our plan with ours, but it failed. We need her magic. Her mother is the most powerful being to ever walk any universe, so it made sense that her daughter would be even stronger, and she is." A wicked smile crossed his face.

Mike was silent for a moment. "So you've been after Scarlet for a long time?" he asked. "You knew her mother?"

Tyler rolled his eyes. "She's still alive," he told him. "I managed to go into the future, but I wasn't powerful enough for Scarlet as an adult so I came back to the present when she was a kid and not as powerful as she will be. Everything was going fine until you got in the way."

The brown-haired human got off Tyler, waving his hand over the evil guy, and Mr. Small looked closer to see that Tyler was trying to move though he seemed unable to.

"I have another question," Mike said as he looked down at Tyler. "Where is Scarlet?"

Tyler glared at Mike. "I'm not going to tell you," he growled.

Shrugging Mike walked away from Tyler, heading straight to Micheal. "Do you know where Scarlet is?" he asked.

The short human took a step back, glanced at Tyler, who was craning his neck to glare at his friend. "Don't tell him," Tyler growled, but whatever else he was going to say was muffled when Mike waved his hand and his mouth shut.

Micheal looked from Tyler to Mike and back again, uncertainty in his eyes.

Mike took a step toward him, his voice soft as he murmured," I know you care about Scarlet, so I know you wouldn't let anything bad happen to her, so where is she?" When Micheal didn't answer, Mike laid his hand on his shoulder. "For Anna and for Scarlet herself, please tell me where she is."

Mr. Small saw that Micheal was shaking and when he opened his mouth, he let out a sob. "I didn't want any of this to happen," he cried, and Mike pulled him into a tight hug. For a long moment, in which Mr. Small and all of the other Mr. Men and Little Misses just stood there, letting the humans have this moment, Micheal cried into Mike's shoulder. Then he took in a sucking breath and stepped back. "I love her. You know I do. She's my daughter!" he suddenly said, and literally everyone surrendering them let out a shocked gasp.

Mr. Small stepped forward. "That doesn't make sense," he said. "How can you be her father? You would have been a kid yourself when you had her!"

"He was," Mike said. "He was only fourteen when Tyler forced him to get with Anna, which resulted in Scarlet and Nathan."

Shocked, Mr. Small was lost for words. Then Mr. Nosy's stepped forward and asked," Where is Scarlet's brother?"

Mike looked at Micheal, who bursted into tears again. "I don't know!" he sobbed. "Tyler took him and I haven't seen him since the day he was born!"

Mike stormed over to Tyler and waved his hand. Immediately the evil human snapped," I'm not telling you anything!"

"Fine," Mike growled. He turned and then out of nowhere there was a beam of light and two new Little Misses appeared out of nowhere. One was round and orange with a yellow nose and brown hair and she wore a black top hat with a pink flower pinned in it. The other one was dark blue with dark red hair and she had yellow clips in her hair with freckles on her cheeks. The orange one waved her stick thing in the air and suddenly Tyler jumped to his feet and attacked Mike, bowling him over and landing on top of him.

"Thought you had me, huh?" the evil human growled. "I met some new friends." He nodded toward the Little Misses.

Mike narrowed his eyes at him. "Turning them evil was a new low for you," he snarled.

"Oh, I can go lower," Tyler responded. He glared around at everyone, a thoughtful look on his face. "Maybe a few more recruits would get me a promotion." As he gazed around, Mike pushed him up, throwing him off. He quickly got up and waved his hand, a bolt of light shooting from it, just barely missing Tyler, who stumbled backwards, into Micheal, who struggled to catch his friend and himself from falling to the ground.

"You will not have anyone else," Mike told him. "And you will not have these characters either."

"No!" Tyler said at the same time Mike used his magic and zapped the two Little Misses, who blinked in astonishment and looked around.

Tyler growled under his breath. "I still have Scarlet," he reminded everyone. "And the necklace. I can destroy this town and be on my way. Hopefully I destroy you while I'm at it!" Spinning, he hurried away, but not running, as if he didn't want to admit he had failed, once again. Micheal quickly followed him, with a glance over his shoulder at Mike.

Mr. Small felt utterly defeated. They managed to scare Tyler off, but he still had Scarlet. What can they do to rescue her?

Mike's voice broke into his thoughts. "Everyone," he said, speaking to all the Mr. Men and Little Misses who were gathered; most of the town, Mr. Small realized. "This is Little Miss Magic and Little Miss Giggles."

The orange Little Miss waved her hand, while the blue one kept giggling under her breath, seeming totally different than when they showed up just a few moments ago, clearly on Tyler's side. Now they almost looked friendly, but Mr. Small wasn't sure if he could trust them, and his friends obviously felt the same.

"Weren't they just working for that guy?" Mr. Bump asked, looking upset with the Little Misses.

"Yes, but he had them under a spell," Mike explained. "They're back to themselves now." He scanned the crowd, and then gestured to someone. At first nobody moved, but then a brownish orange color Little Miss with a yellow nose, and freckles stepped forward, and Mr. Small remembered seeing her after Tyler showed up during the storm.

"This is Little Miss Curious," Mike told everyone. "These three will be living in DIllydale now, but don't worry. They are really friendly."

Most of the residents still eyed the three Little Misses, but Mr. Small turned when he heard Mike say," There's still a few friends we need to rescue from Tyler before he does something awful to them."

Mr. Small didn't understand. Was he talking about Scarlet? But he said friends, as in multiple people. Who else did they need to save? He had a bad feeling about what was going to happen next.
