"Daddy! Daddy wake up! School!" Noella's chirpy voice made him groan.

"Baby stop! I'll be out in a minute," Happy rolled over feeling cold sheets.

When he got the kitchen Henry stopped eating to give his father a brief hug. Helena was scooping him up some oatmeal. Apparently the school year meant a far earlier wake up time than he was expecting.

"We have pictures to do still babe, so eat fast. Since I'm at home this year, I changed them off the bus. I'm assuming you want to see them off?" Helena asked now fixing something on Noella's dress.

"Yeah, I'm not on until this afternoon so we can all go together. What time is pickup?" Happy had read through all the paperwork but his brain wasn't pulling it up at the moment.

"3:15 mon armor….ok Henry, Noella I want your solo pictures. Then one with mama and then daddy ok?"

Happy chuckled watching Helena shuffle her family around. Henry fused about it a bit, giving a scowl for his picture with Happy. Happy wondered what Helena had sprinted downstairs for, making him want to yell at her not to run. Coming up with a tripod they were able to take their first family picture.

Happy got the kids in the Audi while Helena made a quick trip to the bathroom. It was a short ride to the school. Happy helped Noella out as Henry did it himself. His son would go from 5 to 25 before he could catch it.

"Kiss-kiss daddy?" Noella asked, looking nervous.

"C'mere baby," Happy knelt pulling his daughter close to kiss-kiss.

"Don't worry papa, I'll take care of her," Henry said doing his best to look like his father. Happy swelled with pride.

"I know mijo, you'll do a good job." Behind him he heard Helena sniff and knew she was crying.

"Hug your mama, both of you. Then get inside," Happy said wrapping his arm around Helena as the kids hugged her around the waist.

"The nerve, to show up to the school," a voice scoffed. Helena quickly wiped her tears, turning to the voice.

"Excuse me? Care to tell me that to my face?" Helena had gone from weepy to pissed in under two seconds.

"That gang banger has no reason to be here!" Happy thought he would have to physically restrain Helena when she clenched her fists.

"This is my husband and father of my children. The kutte on his back simply means he is in a motorcycle club, and may I ask where your husband or baby daddy is? Mine knows how to be a man and show up for his family," Helena hissed.

Happy whistled at the insult, especially when it landed. The other woman looked like a bottle rocket about to go off. Helena push up on her toes dropping a sweet kiss to Happy's lips. Then she turned walking to the Audi. Happy tossed out his worst glare, then hustled to open the door for Helena.

"Damn it woman, you certainly have a flare for defending your family. I thought she would explode," Happy said, keeping his hand on Helena's thigh.

"That would have been something. I just think it's bullshit that because you wear that kutte people automatically assume you're a bad father and husband. I mean, you don't need a kutte to be one of them," Helena shrugged.

Happy dropped Helena off, switching to his Harley. He had a feeling Tig would appreciate a good story today. Revving his engine, he pulled out.
