Ok, so writing Hawaii Five-0 fanfiction has been an excellent creative outlet for me for the past couple of years but I just kept it to myself. I've finally made the dive in to posting my stories here in the hope other people will enjoy them as well. I recently posted my first story, which got really encouraging and positive reviews which has encouraged me to post more.

I have this story mostly written but I have taken the advice of a reviewer on my previous story and I have been going over it to flesh it out more and add details, which has been really fun. It feels so good when the story just flows. Looking forward to hearing what you readers think. Reviews are appreciated, it helps to know that there is someone out there reading this

The first chapter is just a little tease, more to follow soon

Danny did not feel very brave; indeed, he felt he was going to be sick. But that made no difference to what he had to do.

His friend was in danger. That was all that mattered. Everything else would work itself out, it would all work out; at least he hoped. He'd made arrangements, that's all he could do.

So he steeled himself, took a deep breath and hands raised moved towards the armed men.

Earlier that day:

"I've never fully trusted you Joe but I've seen what you've done for Steve in the past okay and I trust that you care about Steve. And you're the only person I could come to that won't be conflicted... between my life or Steve's you'll ... I mean I realize that when we set this plan in motion it might not work out for me, that it might mean trading my life for his and I can't lay that burden on anyone else. This... this is the only play that we've got that will ensure his safety. Otherwise Steve is dead in two hours and so I came to you because you're the only one who'd be on board without hesitation" ... "For Steve's sake" he said firmly locking eyes with Joe "and hopefully you can get me out too" he concluded.

Joe took a moment to evaluate the man before him. He registered the deep resolve evident in Danny's eyes. But he saw the flicker of fear there as well which made him admire the man that much more.

He slowly tilted his chin up. The two locked stares, Joe's eyes now reflecting the same resolve evident in Danny's. Joe gave a slight nod, silently affirming he was on board.

"Well then..." he said "what do you have in mind?"

Danny let out the breath that he had been holding and proceeded to lay out the plan.
