Yet another of my random half finished stories but this one has around twelve chapters in total. This one is a bit different. This is a Sevmione Fic. Now before you get all weirded out, my Cissamione stories have just as big an age gap.
Please enjoy and let me know what you think. I always enjoy feedback. This will be Rated M for Language, Lemons and Violence.
Chapter One
Hermione
As the battle raged on yet again, I could see the side of the light thrive. As soon as Harry jumped into the fray, not as dead as what Voldemort and his death eaters had initially thought, everyone had gotten a new lease on life.
Narcissa and Draco Malfoy chose their side with the son binding and knocking out his father with a strangers wand he had picked up from the ground, at some point during the chaos. Having thrown his own wand back to Harry, it was when Ron, Neville and I were running that it happened.
A stray piece of rubble falling all around us, a red beam of light hitting me square in the chest with Draco Malfoy of all people pulling me to the ground. Just as I seen Neville cut the head off a snake, I heard Ron shout my name and everything flashed at high speed.
It was a multitude of Kaleidoscope colours in a vortex that I could not control, I could make out shapes and it was then everything started to slow and I felt weak in the knees. My eyes rolled to the back of my head and when I finally stopped seeing stars I could feel someone holding onto my waist.
Having expected it to be Ron I was horrified as Antonin Dolohov was holding me pressed against his body. I was in the Department of Mysteries...again. I could see Neville, Ron, Ginny and Luna being held by their own respective Death Eaters and Harry standing in front of the Veil of Death conversing with Lucius Malfoy and a prophecy held in his hand.
Am I dreaming? Is that what that was? Did I have a dream of the future to come and realistically I had to live it all over again. I can't fucking do this again. See so many people die in front of me would be too much, maybe it is and I have finally cracked and lost my mind. Maybe this is some sort of weird groundhog situation, forced to relive the same period of time over and over again.
"Getting weak in the knees for me Mudblood, it's alright I will protect you." The feeling of Dolohov whispering in my ear, his tongue trailing across my neck, his length pressed against my arse made me see red. Before I could stop myself I threw my head forward and swiftly back again, the crunch of his nose and the cry of pain was satisfying enough, and I threw my leg backward to connect between his legs.
He let go of me just as Sirius arrived and punched Lucius Malfoy in the face. The order also apparated in, Dolohov being distracted allowed me to perform an Obliviate on him and soon enough everyone was fighting. I don't know what made me do it but I made my way over to Sirius and just as he and Harry were actually getting somewhere a yellow beam of light flew toward Sirius from Bellatrix.
I reached him just in time to push him from the Veil but the pain from my lower back was excruciating. My knees buckled from under me as Bellatrix took off skipping, Harry looked torn, Sirius firm grasp on my arm stopped me from stumbling into the veil in his place as he lowered me to the ground.
"I killed the Mudblood!" Singing it over and over as I could see blood pour from my body, Harry took off after her leaving me with Remus and Sirius.
"Padfoot, go with Harry he will need you. I am gonna take them all back to Hogwarts." I could hear snippits of their conversation but Sirius kissed my forehead and made his way after Harry. What was the point of the dream? Was I meant to change things? I had so many thoughts floating around my brain but they all fell away as everything faded to Black and I passed out.

Severus
After checking that the idiot Black didn't actually leave Grimmauld Place the only thing I wanted to do was sit with a glass of whiskey and the new Potioneers Guild Newsletter. Not that there was much I could learn from it.
Unfortunately a relaxing evening was not on the cards for me, Draco Malfoy showing up looking terrified and telling me Umbridge was carted off by centaurs, Crabbe and Goyle vomiting up Green gunge thanks to a Weasley products and Potter, Weasley One and Two, Granger, Longbottom and Lovegood taking to the skies on a fucking Thestral was not my idea of fun. Albus is fuck knows where, leaving me go deal with this shit storm. Quickly alerting the Order I made a pack for some emergency potions and balms incase anyone was injured.
Getting word go Dumbledore also and sending him on his way to save the Bay who Lived and his merry band of misfits. Although the bain of my existence did have some skills when it came to defense, he was still just a child.
Minerva was still recovering and realistically this was not something I wanted her to stress about. Before I could say anything else a Hare Patronus came into the room. It was not one Irecognised but upon Hearing the voice of Luna Lovegood I was momentarily impressed.
"Professor we need access to Hogwarts quickly." The blonde sprite was intelligent despite her fairy nature, being in school with her mother I knew she was a chip off the old block. The Patronus was fully corporeal, Potter had actually managed to teach those dunderheads the Patronus charm. Perhaps he had some form of talent after all, Miss Lovegood despite her airy fairy demeanour actually was a very bright girl so perhaps it was just her nature and Potter is just a fluke.
"Hermione Granger is injured please open the FLOO to the hospital wing, we will need Blood replenisher." Hearing Lupins voice aggravated me but knew I would have to act fast. Turning to Draco Malfoy I gave him his marching orders and prioritising Miss Granger over Umbridge at this present moment in time.
"Go and waken Filius Flitwick and tell him to search the forest for Umbridge." He ran off and I used the faculty shortcuts to arrive in the Hospital Wing within thirty seconds and I was greeted by Poppy restocking her shelves.
"Severus, is everything ok?" I shook my head and realistically I did not know what was going to happen here or what state the girl would be in. I couldn't say anything else as the fireplace roared green and Lupin came running into the room with a very pale and bloody Miss Granger.
" What the fuck Lupin?" He set her down on the bed and allowed Poppy who sprung into action to take a diagnostic. She pulled out vials of potion after potion. Before cleaning the wound on her back and looking at me.
"Bellatrix Lestrange hit her with a curse, it had a yellow beam of light which I didn't recognise. It was a silent cast aimed at Sirius." Of course this young girl has paid the price of Blacks recklessness. I turned her around to lie on her front so I could have access to the injury which ran from her left hipbone and twisted around her back and up to reach her midspine.
"Bellatrix Lestrange has amultitude of curses in her skillset, I am more concerned with this bleeding. Lupin make yourself useful and press down here." He took over the pressure as I placed somedittany in her wound to try and make her blood clot.
The flames flared green again and from the corner of my eye I could see Longbottom, Two Weasleys and Lovegood being escorted into the room and placed on a bed by Kingsley Shaklebolt.
"Is she ok? Professor! Answer Me!" Ronald Weasleys whining in my ear was something I did not appreciate.
"Weasley, unless it has escaped your notice I am a bit busy trying to save her life so sit down and shut up!" He was pulled down by Ginerva and they let me work, I could see the blood flow was starting to slow and thankfully it will eventually stop.
I needed to see what had happened, I needed to see the curse she was struck with because right this moment, yellow vines were making their way through the scar, I could practically see the curse travelling to her chest.
It came as a surprise then to be greeted with a brick wall, no matter how many times I try to breach, it doesn't budge. She was not a student I delved into often or at all really. In her five years as a student I hadn't breached her head in anyway, she has Shields in place. Are they natural or has this chit been trying to teach herself Occlumency?
Coming from her head I did the only thing I could do, I turned to Longbottom and delved into his head, I could see Antonin touching her waist and licking her cheek in a rude and suggestive way that made me want to kick his arse so bad.
Upon seeing what curse hit her I felt my stomach drop to my knees, it was what I had feared, I could stop it but the girl will be scarred and will possibly have pain for a good while.
"Lonny!" My assigned house elf popped into the room and bowed to me before I gave him instructions.
"In my stores I need you to collect the black vial in the wooden box along with the blue salve please." He popped away just as the flames flared again and Albus Dumbledore, Sirius Black and Harry Potter came into the room.
The boy had large circles around his eyes and was twitching from the after effects of something I knew too well. Cruciatus. He shuffled over to take a seat beside Miss Granger at this point and stayed down at her feet to allow me to work.
With a Pop Lonny appeared back into the room and I asked Poppy for a syringe, knowing this was the best way to get it into the girls system. Directly into the bloodstream to counter effect the curse which was like a yellow vine creeping up her back toward her shoulder.
"What is that Severus?" I ignored Lupin in that moment before looking to Albus for permission, he nodded his head and I slid the needle into the beginning of the scar which was at her hip and injected the potion into her.
"When Arthur Weasley was bitten by that snake at Christmas this is what saved his life. Severus made it himself and if anything will work this will." I didn't dare look at them and instead focused on what I was doing.
"Professor, she is going to be ok, right?" I ignored his question but I could see Albus come up behind him in reassurance. Black also took that moment to come to his other side in moral support. I don't know what the boy had been through in the last few hours but it had aged him.
"This is all my fault." Now that I couldn't ignore, once I looked up at him and Lily's eyes met my own I found that weakness again.
"For once Potter we are in agreement." Black glared at me and took one step closer to the other side of the bed until he was looking directly into my eyes.
"Lay off Snivelling, you of all people don't get to ridicule anyones life choices." I didn't take the bait from this impulsive idiot and just continued to treat the girl in front of me. The blood had stopped flowing and I took Lupins hands away and cleaned it up again.
The skin had started to pucker together and as I injected the black potion into the scar I could see it take effect, the black potion had started to dilute the yellow vines trailing through her veins and I could feel everyones eyes around me watching my actions.
Poppy had completely left me to my own devices at this point and had moved on to the other children and gave them all Pepper Up and hot cocoa to help soothe grated nerves. My arm flared in pain and I handed the vial to Albus along with the salve.
"This should help Miss Granger, she will have a scar but I doubt it will be something that bothers her too much. I will come back and check on her later. One dose of 3mls every three hours Poppy and when the skin had completely knitted together apply the salve nice and generously all along her scar." Albus knew what was happening but the others seemed ready to protest but I was surprised when Potter stood up and held out his hand to me.
" Thank You Professor, she is like my sister and I just want to say thank you for saving her." I at first wanted to scoff in his face but realistically I knew it had taken a lot for the boy to say that to me.
"Do not mention the fact that I helped her Potter, I have a reputation to adhere to with the children of Slytherin House. I know the Sorting Hat wanted to put you into Slytherin, use some Cunning and not just brawn. Someone might not be as lucky next time, whether you want it or not you have a famous name and as such you will have a responsibility in the future. " I could tell he was confused but needed to hear it.
" People will follow you, some to the ends of the earth as proven by tonight fiasco. Do not put them in any danger they don't need to be in. Miss Granger will heal this time but next time she might not be so lucky. You all managed to win tonight because the Order came to your aid... Shut it Black he needs to hear this." My arm was on fire and I needed to leave, but the boy needs a shake.
"You are but school children fighting against very real and ruthless monsters. They will fight to kill. Make sure you use your brain, loathe as I am to admit it, you do have one. Not everyone would be able to teach an entire group of children the Patronus charm. Think before you react Potter. Excuse me. " I nodded to Albus and made myway to the door but not before hearing a soft thank you from each of the children.
I left to get my mask and robe and made my way out of the castle for what I am sure is going to be a very long night. Things can only get better.

Hermione
I could hear muffled voices and a soft pressure on my hand. A painful throbbing in my lower back and it all came flooding back, the dream I had of the future, although it didn't seem like a dream. I could still feel the pangs of hunger from our time on the run.
Hear the blasts of the battle and the smell of burning flesh, so many people who perished is now still alive. Professor Lupin, Snape, Lavender, and Fred. I knew where the Horcruxes were, or at least some of them.
I know for a fact that things had to work out differently than before, Professor Dumbledore could not be left in charge because realistically we will need him in the final battle. Professor Snape would end up on the wrong side and we would need him also.
I needed someone to help, I mean technically I still had time a full year at school before Harry takes off on his quest at The Headmasters insistance. Could I figure it out in time so we dont have to traipse through the country?
Professor Dumbledore was not going to be a reliable source, he doesn't even know what is happening at this point. He suspected probably after the Chamber of Secrets but we have to wait a whole year before he even confides in Harry what the extent of the situation is. Even at that it's less than what we needed at this present moment in time.
Professor McGonnagal is too blinded by Albus and would probably go straight to him with any and all information. Remus also is eternally grateful to the Headmaster for allowing him to study in the castle and then offer him employment. The only thing that could guarantee his help would be to reveal Harrys Horcrux in his head, Sirius is an impulsive idiot, at least now he was a living impulsive idiot but again he would not be a wise choice to help.
I would need access to the Black Family Library in Grimmauld Place which would be easy enough at this point. I suppose I am on my own for now but I wish my beaded bag had came back with me. There was so many memory vials inside of it that Harry had shared with me aswell as the one Severus Snape shared with my best friend.
I would have to make another one, there was so much to do, my parents for one would also have to leave. The more things I started to change the more uncertain the future became. Sending them away earlier for their safety would be in everyones best interests.
"Don't beat yourself up about it mate, Mione will forgive you." I could hear Ron on my left side and Harry must have been the one who was holding my hand because his voice came from the opposite side.
"Look at her Ron! Look at her back, the reason she was hurt is because I was stupid and gullible and let him control what was in my head. She could have died because I was reckless." I could hear how tired he was in that moment and although there was nothing to forgive on my end, I willingly went with him he didn't force me he wasn't wrong about his recklessness.
"Oh Harry you're too busy thinking about what Snape said? You can't let him get to you like that mate." It made me wonder what I had missed whilst being injured, if it came from Professor Snape and actually sunk into Harrys head then it must have been profound.
"He is right though isn't he, it's not the first time you and Hermione has been in danger because of me. That Prophecy was about me, there was nothing to say you and Hermione have to pay the price." Ron scoffed and I could hear shuffles as he took his seat beside me.
"Harry, you didn't force us into anything, you're our friend, our brother. You wanted a family well we are right here... Hermione, me, Ginny, Neville and Luna. We are all your family and if you think we are gonna let you do any of this alone then I am disappointed. This is about more than just you Harry." Hearing Rons speech filled me with pride, it was that side of him that attracted me to him in the first place, although now I am essentially two years older than him, more I suppose with the use of that bloody time Turner.
I realised I had to wake up, I had to see them both again, waking up in this time line was strange but the boys were my family and I missed them both. I slowly cracked my eyes open and squeezed Harrys hand as I did, I could feel him jump slightly and shuffle closer to me.
"Hermione. Madame Pomfry she is waking up." I could hear two sets of footsteps shuffle close to my bedside as I crack open my eyes and met the most vibrant green ones and smiled.
"Harry." I came out a whisper and I could feel the pain kick in as I tried to move, a firm hand came to rest on my shoulders in the form on Minerva McGonagall. She looked awful, still obviously recovering from being attacked by Umbridge.
"Take it easy Miss Granger, how's is the pain on a scale of one to ten. Boys help her sit up in the bed please. " Madame Pomfry was setting three vials in front of me as Harry and Ron tried to help me by propping a pillow behind me and fixing me on the bed.
" Umm probably a six or so, what happened is everyone ok? Sirius?" Harry nodded his head at me and I couldn't help but breathe a, sigh of relief.
"He is fine, Dumbledore sent him back to Headquarters with Remus. He felt really torn up about what happened but very grateful also." I nodded my head to them both before taking the red vial of blood replenisher, Green vial of Pepper Up and blue silvery vial of Pain Reliever before she asked me to sit forward and luckily I was wearing a burgandy gown that opened at the back.
"This is from Professor Snape, it is your last dosage and will help the scar." Realising I had been cursed like last time except this wrapped around my body. Did that mean that certain things were fixed in the timeline? Obviously not because Sirius is alive but I was still cursed.
Why did this have to happen? Why me? I am going to epically cock this up and even more people are going to die. She lifted out a needle and a syringe before drawing up 3mls of the black potion and injected it into my spine. The heat I felt eminating from there almost felt like it was doused with cold water immediately.
"How long do I have to stay here?" I had so many things to do, I needed to go to the room of Requirement, I also needed to go to Headquarters and find that bloody locket. Bellatrix Lestrange has the cup in two years time but there is no telling where it is now.
I had so much to do and prepare, my summer would be busy. I would send my parents away and use the house as my hub for most of the summer. The underage restrictions should not be a problem as I was technically Seventeen already thanks to the use of the time turner.
I hadn't realised that at the time before though, its a good thing my age does not pop up on a diagnostic or I would have to answer all sorts of questions I realistically didn't want to.
"A few days until I deem you fit to return, Professor Snape will want to check your wound." That was something else entirely, the amount of nights in that bloody tent I sat thinking about Severus Snape.
He has had countless opportunities over the years to hurt us, or to allow harm to come to us and yet in our first year he saved Harrys jinxed broom, jumped in front of a transformed Remus Lupin in our third and has helped us immensely throughout the years.
When he killed the Headmaster none of it made sense, why would he kill Albus Dumbledore? Was it to protect Draco? The school, the students? When he was confronted by Minerva McGonagall in the final battle he never cast one spell except shields.
The man used his last moments to give Harry memories, I would have loved to have seen them for myself but all Harry had said was he was innocent and on our side. If it continued on the way it had, Albus Dumbledore would be cursed, I am unsure what date he finds the ring but I know it is this summer.
I needed to find the Gaunt House and fast or else the timeline will not change, Headmaster Dumbledore will die and Severus Snape will murder him, why I don't know. She soon chased the boys from the hospital wing as it was now almost breakfast. I said my goodbyes and asked them to bring my bookbag later on after breakfast.
It was a Saturday so there was no lessons today but I could hear the hustle and bustle of people in the corridors and outside enjoying the balmy scottish weather.
"Would you like some breakfast Hermione?" I nodded to the woman and she left me to my own devices not long after that. I was grateful to them both because I had too much to do and plan and having a hovering PoppyPomfry was not going to help much. The only problem is I have no idea where to fucking start.
That's the end of Chapter One. Please leave me a wee review and let me know what you think.
