Chapter One: A Stubborn Situation

The Pride Lands were peaceful as the Lion Guard embarked on their latest mission: helping a group of baboons move from their old, withering tree to a new and healthier one. But the baboons weren't making it easy.

Kion: "Come on, come down, baboons. We'll find you a new tree to live in." He called up to the reluctant primates.

The Baboon Leader: "No, we refuse to move into a new tree!" He crossed his arms stubbornly.

Fuli: "Ugh, baboons! They can be so stubborn." She huffed in frustration.

Bunga: "Actually, Fuli, not all baboons are stubborn. Bongo's not stubborn, he's just mischievous." He chimed in with a grin.

Fuli: "Well, Bongo is okay, since he's my best friend." She couldn't help but smile at the mention of her friend.

Kion: "Ugh, this could take forever." He sighed, feeling the weight of the task ahead.

Bunga: "Don't worry, Kion, I'll get them down. Zuka Zama!" He flashed a determined smile, always ready to take action.

With his usual energy, Bunga scrambled up the tree. As he reached the top, he tried to grab one of the baboons. But the mischievous baboon pushed him off the branch, causing Bunga to lose his footing and tumble to the ground, landing awkwardly on his ankle.

Kion: "Bunga, are you okay?" His eyes widened in concern.

Bunga: "I don't think so, I… I think I hurt my ankle." He winced, trying to hide the pain.

Fuli: "Hey, baboon, you made Bunga hurt his ankle!" She glared up at the baboon who had pushed Bunga.

The baboon simply shrugged, unfazed by the accusation.

Kion: "Beshte, try to shake the tree to get the baboons to come down." He quickly turned to Beshte.

Beshte: "You got it, Kion. Twende Kiboko!" He nodded confidently.

With his immense strength, Beshte shook the tree, causing the baboons to lose their grip and tumble down. Some landed on Beshte's broad back, others on Kion's, and a few even found themselves perched on Fuli.

The Baboon Leader: *sighs* "Alright, fine, we'll move to a new tree considering we've hurt Bunga." He sighed in defeat.

As the baboons climbed down, one of them playfully tugged on Fuli's tail.

Fuli: "Ow, hey, only my best friend is allowed to pull my tail!" She snapped, flicking her tail away.

Ono, using his keenest of sight, scanned the horizon and spotted a much healthier tree nearby.

Ono: "There's a healthy tree just not too far from here. You can live there." He suggested, his voice carrying a hint of relief that the situation was resolving.

The Baboon Leader: "Okay then. Baboons, let's go." He nodded.

The baboons began to follow their leader, but a few lingered on Fuli's back, still tugging on her tail and chattering mischievously.

Baboons: "Hoo-Hoo-Hoo." They chattered.

Fuli: "Ugh, you can get off now." She groaned, shaking them off.

Once freed, the remaining baboons scurried after their leader toward their new home in the healthier tree.

Bunga: "Um, hello guys, my ankle still hurts over here!" He called out in exasperation, still sitting on the ground.

Kion: "Sorry about that, Bunga." He quickly remembered his injured friend.

Beshte: "It's okay, I'll carry you, Little B." He smiled warmly.

Bunga: "Thanks, Big B." He grinned, grateful for his friend's help.

With Beshte carrying Bunga, the Lion Guard began their walk back to their lair, the day's challenge behind them—for now.
