Chapter 95: Mandarin Island Tournament R3 Misty vs Violet

Hello everyone, this chapter will cover round 3 of the Mandarin Island Tournament and it's a long chapter. It'll mostly focus on Misty's battle with Violet, but the other battles will be touched on a little bit as well. Also, I'm very sorry for the late release of this chapter, I was sick last week so at the time I wasn't motivated to finish the chapter, but I'm now feeling a lot better. Now without further ado let's begin the story.

The chapter begins one day after the last chapter ended. It's currently 8:15am in the morning and we see Ash, Misty, Leaf, Tracey, along with Pikachu and Togepi eating breakfast. Before they began eating Breakfast Ash along with Leaf called Prof. Oak and Daisy to switch out their Pokémon while Misty called the Cerulean Gym talked to one of the gym trainers and switched out her Pokémon. Back to the group once they're done eating, they head out of the Pokémon Center as Ash speaks.

"Man, I'm so excited" Ash says while having a smile on his as Leaf speaks.

"Me too!" Leaf says happily as Tracey speaks.

"Now that you're all in the top 8 the competition's going to be a lot harder from here" Tracey says with Ash and Leaf nodding as Leaf then looks over at Misty and speaks.

"Hey Misty, are you excited to battle your sister today?" Leaf asks as Misty speaks.

"I am but I'm also nervous as out of all of my sisters Violet's the strongest and not even Daisy or Lily have ever beaten her in a battle." Misty responds with the group nodding as Ash speaks.

"Well, I know that you're going to do great Misty" Ash says with Leaf and Tracey agreeing with him making Misty smile as she says thank you. Misty then remembers something and speaks.

"Hey before we go to the building, I want to do some quick fishing as I want to see what kind of water Pokémon live here" Misty says as Ash speaks.

"Great idea" Ash says as Leaf speaks.

"I like that too! As I want to see if I can catch any new water types" Leaf says as Tracey speaks.

"There should be a small lake a few minutes away from here let's go over there" Tracey says with the 3 kids nodding as they begin to run towards the lake. A few minutes later they've made it to the lake as Tracey speaks.

"This should be a good spot" Tracey says as Leaf speaks.

"Okay then let's get fishing!" Leaf says as she pulls out a fishing rod and instantly casts out the line. Once she does that Misty speaks.

"Nice form Leaf but you won't be able to catch anything without this" Misty says as she pulls out a lure that looks like her as Leaf along with Tracey look at it Leaf speaks.

"What's that?" Leaf asks as Ash speaks.

"It's called a Misty lure according to Misty when she uses it, it helps fish out water type Pokémon." Ash answers with Leaf and Tracey nodding as Misty speaks.

"Ash is right, but this isn't any normal Misty lure it's a super Misty lure" Misty says making the group confused as Ash speaks.

"What's so super about it? It looks exactly like the one you used back in the Safari Zone" Ash asks as Misty speaks.

"What are you talking about? Don't you see the cape" Misty says as Ash looks at the cape and speaks.

"So, the only difference is that you put a cape on it how will that help you fish out water Pokémon?" Ash asks as Misty speaks.

"Here let me show you" Misty says as she casts out her line into the lake. When she does, she then speaks.

"And now we wait" Misty says as Ash speaks.

"Well seeing as this is going to take a while I'm going to take a nap" Ash says with Pikachu agreeing with him and just when they're about to sleep Leaf and Misty speak.

"I got a bite!" The 2 girls say surprising Ash, Pikachu, and Tracey as Ash speaks.

"Already?!" Ash says in surprise as he looks forward and sees the 2 girls struggling to reel in their catches as Leaf speaks.

"Wow mine's tough" Leaf says with Misty saying the same thing about hers. The two girls continue to struggle until a couple seconds later they successfully pull out their catches. Leaf looks at her catch and speaks.

"It's a Shellder!" Leaf says happily as she then quickly pulls out a Pokeball and speaks.

"Go! Pokeball!" Leaf says as she throws the ball forward which connects with the mon and sucks it inside. The ball doesn't shake once as it's an instant capture making Leaf happy as the ball then disappears heading to Oak's lab as Tracey speaks.

"So, Leaf reeled in a Shellder" Tracey says as Ash looks over at Misty and speaks.

"What did you get Misty?" Ash asks as he along with the others look over at the girl as she looks at them and speaks.

"I got this" Misty says as she shows the group a golden rock in the shape of a crown. The group look at it as Ash speaks.

"What is that?" Ash questions but Leaf doesn't know either as Tracey speaks.

"It's a Kings Rock" Tracey says making the 3 kids confused as Leaf speaks.

"What's a Kings Rock?" Leaf asks as Tracey speaks.

"A Kings Rock is an item that can help Pokémon like Poliwhirl and Slowpoke evolve into Politoed and Slowking." Tracey responds with the group nodding as Ash speaks.

"So, it's an evolution item" Ash says as Leaf looks at Misty and speaks.

"Hey Misty, you have Slowpoke with you right? Maybe you can have Slowpoke wear it so he can evolve." Leaf says as Misty nods and speaks.

"For a while now I've been trying to figure out on how to make Slowpoke stronger and this should help." Misty says as she then brings Slowpoke out of his ball. Once the mon appears he looks at Misty as Misty bends down and speaks.

"Hey Slowpoke, this is a Kings Rock and according to Tracey if you wear it should help you evolve into a Slowking do you want to wear it?" Misty asks as Slowpoke thinks for a few seconds then nods making Misty happy as she then places the item on Slowpoke's head. Once she does everyone looks at Slowpoke waiting for him to evolve as Ash speaks.

"Um shouldn't Slowpoke be evolving right now?" Ash asks as Tracey speaks.

"Well similar to when you helped Misty's Seadra evolve into a Kingdra yesterday in order for Slowpoke to evolve he'll need to be traded then traded back to Misty." Tracey responds with Ash nodding as Leaf speaks.

"In that case Misty, I can help you so let's head back to the Pokémon Center" Leaf says with Misty nodding as just when she's about to return Slowpoke back to his Pokeball suddenly Slowpoke glows a bright white surprising the 4 kids along with Pikachu and Togepi as Leaf speaks.

"Slowpoke's evolving!" Leaf says as the group look at the mon as he begins to change. Slowpoke stands upright growing taller and gains a large shell on his head. When the light of evolution goes away what was once a Slowpoke is now a Slowking, the mon has a smile on his face as Tracey speaks.

"Slowpoke just evolved into a Slowking" Tracey says as Ash along with Leaf pull out their Pokedex's to scan the mon.

"Slowking the Royal Pokémon and a Water/Psychic type. It has incredible intellect and intuition. Whatever the situation, it remains calm and collected." The Pokedex says as Ash speaks.

"Wait but Tracey, I thought you said that Slowpoke could only evolve after he was traded?" Ash says as Tracey speaks.

"I'm as shocked as you but now that I think about it, I have heard that in the wild Pokémon that require to be traded in order to evolve can still evolve unless they have the item in their possession." Tracey responds with Ash nodding as Leaf speaks.

"Anyway, Slowking looks so cool! Don't you agree Misty?" Leaf asks as Misty goes over to the mon and speaks.

"Slowking are you still you?" Misty asks as Slowking looks at Misty smiles and nods making Misty happy as she speaks.

"Congratulations on evolving Slowking!" Misty says happily as she hugs the mon with Slowking hugging back. Once they break away from the hug one of Misty's Pokeball's wriggle as Psyduck appears out of it. Psyduck looks at Slowking with Slowking looking at him as Misty speaks.

"Psyduck this is Slowking he evolved from Slowpoke" Misty says as Psyduck just stares at Slowking with Slowking staring back. The 2 mons continue to stare at each other until Psyduck smiles and hugs Slowking congratulating him on evolving. Slowking tells Psyduck thank you as he hugs the duck back, the group look at the 2 mons and smile until Tracey looks at the time and speaks.

"Wow! Would you look at the time the tournament's going to start soon!" Tracey says as Ash speaks.

"We better hurry!" Ash says with the group nodding as Misty pulls out Psyduck's and Slowking's Pokeball's then speaks.

"Return!" Misty says with the 2-mons nodding as they go back in their Pokeball's, and the group begin running towards the building. 10 minutes later they've made it to the building and pant heavily. They meet up with the others who ask them why they're late and the group tells them that they were fishing. After that Ash and Misty hand Pikachu and Togepi over to Tracey while he along with Kiawe, Lana, Lillie, Kukui, Burnet, Daisy, and Lily head over to the stands while the others who're battling head over to the trainer hall. When they make it, Jake announces for the trainers to begin heading to their stadiums. Leaf along with her opponent head over to stadium 1, Ash along with his opponent head over to stadium 3, and Barry along with Nemona head over to stadium 2. Misty along with Violet are in the trainer hall and are watching the battles on screen.

We now come over to stadium one where Ash's going to battle a trainer named Tony. Both boys are on their sides of the battlefield and look at each other as the ref makes himself known and speaks.

"This is a full 6v6 single battle between contestants Tony and Ash. Both trainers are allowed to only use 6 Pokémon each and can also substitute their Pokémon at any time. The battle is over when either side has defeated all of their opponents Pokémon!" The ref says with both boys nodding as the ref continues to speak.

"Now if both trainers are ready, please send out your first Pokémon!" The ref says as Tony pulls out a Pokeball and speaks.

"Go! Carracosta!" Tony says as he throws the ball forward and sends out a Carracosta. When the mon appears, it has a serious look on its face as Ash speaks.

"So, his first Pokémon's a Carracosta then I'll go with you" Ash says to himself as he pulls out a Pokeball and speaks.

"Aqua I choose you!" Ash says as he throws the ball forward and sends out the bull who has a serious look on his face and looks at Carracosta with Carracosta looking at him as Tony speaks.

"Carracosta let's win this!" Tony says with the mon nodding as Ash speaks.

"I'm counting on you Aqua!" Ash says with the bull nodding as he along with Carracosta get into battle stances the ref speaks.

"Now that both trainers have sent out their Pokémon let the battle begin!" The ref calls as Ash and Tony speak.

"Aqua use Raging Bull!" "Carracosta counter with Liquidation!" Both trainers call Aqua roars his horns glow blue and covers his body in water as he shoots forward. Carracosta covers its fins in water and collides with Aqua. The 2 mons go back and forth for a little while until they break away from each other. When they do the two mons look at each other as Ash speaks.

"It was able to match Aqua's strength this isn't going to be easy but that's fine as we like the challenge." Ash says to himself as he looks at Aqua and speaks.

"Let's keep going Aqua!" Ash says with Aqua roaring in agreement as Tony speaks.

"We're winning this Carracosta!" Tony says with Carracosta roaring too. After that Ash along with Tony call for both mons to use Hydro Pump. The 2-mons fire the attacks which collide creating an explosion. When the explosion clears the 2 mons look at each other as Ash and Tony call for their next commands and the battle continues (this is where we begin to skip most of the battle). During the battle Aqua and Carracosta go back and forth dealing major damage to each other but after Aqua lands a Wave Crash on Carracosta he manages to defeat the mon. After that Ash returns Aqua back to his Pokeball as the bull needed to rest since he took a lot of recoil damage from the Wave Crash. Once Tony returns Carracosta the next Pokémon he brings out is a Mantine while Ash brings out Lapras.

Once they do the battle continues Lapras has Mantine on the back foot landing multiple ice beams on the mon causing super effective damage. But Tony's Mantine isn't weak as it manages to land a few Bullet Seeds and some Aerial Aces on Lapras causing damage to Lapras. Then just when Ash is about to have Lapras finish off Mantine with a Blizzard Tony returns his Mantine and brings in a Floatzel instead. Ash keeps Lapras in to continue fighting against Floatzel and every time Lapras tries to land her Ice Beams or Hydro Pumps Floatzel manages to easily dodge using its superior speed. Then when Ash calls for Lapras to use Blizzard Tony has Floatzel use Whirlpool to trap Lapras and make her spin out of control. Just when Ash's about to have Lapras break out of the move Tony calls for Floatzel to use its own Wave Crash and hit Lapras easily knocking her out.

Ash's sad that Lapras lost but returns her and tells her good job and to get some rest. After that Ash decides to bring Aqua back in. Once he does Aqua along with Floatzel have an intense battle landing multiple blows on each other. Then when Ash's going to have Aqua finish Floatzel off with Wave Crash Tony returns Floatzel and brings his Mantine back in. Before Ash can return Aqua Mantine makes quick work of Aqua by landing a couple Aerial Aces and summons a large Hurricane that consumes Aqua and knocks him out. Ash then returns Aqua back to his Pokeball and then brings Kingler in. The moment Kingler appears he pinches his pincers together and is ready to get revenge for Lapras and Aqua.

The battle between Kingler and Mantine begins. Mantine tries its best to dodge Kingler's attacks by flying in the air but since Kingler trains with not only Ash's Gyarados but also his other flying types Kingler knows how to deal with Pokémon that can fly. After Mantine dodges a Hydro Pump from Kingler Ash has Kingler jump high in the air and land a Crabhammer which sends Mantine crashing down hard on a land platform. Mantine groans in pain as it then sees Kingler land and looks to be charging up a Hyper Beam. Tony calls for Mantine to dodge but Ash tells Kingler to grab Mantine and the crab does just that. Kingler holds Mantine tightly in his grip making sure that the mon can't get away. Ash then calls for Kingler to use Hyper Beam as the mon fires out the attack from his big claw that sends Mantine crashing into the wall behind Tony and is knocked out. Ash along with Kingler cheer as Tony returns Mantine back to its Pokeball and brings in a Whiscash.

Ash decides to keep Kingler in and an all-out battle between Kingler and Whiscash begins. During the battle both mons land heavy blows on each other like Crabhammer, Zen Headbutt, Liquidation, and Waterfall. As the 2 mons continue to battle Tony calls for Whiscash to use Dragon Dance increasing the mons attack/speed, while Ash calls for Kingler to use Swords Dance and sharply increase Kingler's attack. Then when Ash has Kingler go to use Liquidation on Whiscash Tony calls for Whiscash to use Spark which surprised Ash (Note Ash forgot the Whiscash can learn Spark) as Whiscash manages to break through Kingler's Liquidation and hit the mon. Kingler's sent flying a few feet away as he crashes into a land platform and is knocked out.

Ash returns Kingler back to his Pokeball and tells the mon thank you as he then brings in Seismitoad who's ready to battle. Tony decides to keep Whiscash in as he believes that Whiscash would easily defeat Seismitoad, but Tony was wrong as Seismitoad makes quick work of Whiscash. Even though Whiscash increased its attack power with Dragon Dance Seismitoad's able to match Whiscash in power and whenever Whiscash tries to use its speed Ash has Seismitoad use Hyper Voice causing Whiscash to come to a stop. During the battle Tony gets frustrated as he calls for Whiscash to use Spark on Seismitoad which doesn't do any damage to the mon, but this is what Ash wanted. Now that Whiscash was closer Ash had Seismitoad upper cut Whiscash with Brick Break then use Hydro Pump to finish the mon off. After Whiscash was defeated Ash along with Seismitoad celebrate as Tony returns the mon back to its Pokeball.

After Tony returns Whiscash he sends out his next Pokémon called Ludicolo who upon appearing began to happily dance. Ash didn't know what kind of Pokémon Ludicolo was so when he was about to look up the mon in his Pokedex Tony suddenly calls for the mon to use Leaf Storm. Ash was unable to tell Seismitoad to dodge in time as the storm of leaves consumes Seismitoad and easily knocks the mon out. Ash had a surprised look on his face as he returns Seismitoad back to his Pokeball and then learned that Ludicolo is a Water/Grass type. Tony then decides to return Ludicolo back to its Pokeball and brings Floatzel back in as Ash decides to bring in Frogadier.

The battle between Floatzel and Frogadier began and it's an easy one for Frogadier. Every time Floatzel tries to attack Frogadier Ash would have Frogadier use Double Team to dodge Floatzel's attacks and also land Bubble Beams along with Water Pulses. Then when Tony's about to recall Floatzel Ash quickly has Frogadier throw his Frubbles which obscures Floatzel's vision and allows Frogadier to end the battle with Water Pulse. Ash along with Frogadier cheer as Tony returns Floatzel back to its Pokeball and brings out a Simipour.

Once Simipour appears Ash decides to keep Frogadier in as the 2 mons shoot forward and begin their battle. During the battle Simipour along with Frogadier land multiple hard blows on each other trying to win the battle for their respective trainer. As they continue to battle Simipour hits Frogadier with Waterfall which sends the mon flying causing him to crash on a land platform as Ash speaks. (The summary for the battle is now over.)

"Frogadier!" Ash calls in worry as Frogadier groans in pain but then stands back up and looks at Simipour with the water monkey looking at it. Back in the trainer hall Misty along with Violet continue to watch the battle as they then hear a voice.

"Hey!" The voice says causing both girls to turn as they see Leaf running towards them. When Leaf gets close enough Misty looks at her and speaks.

"Leaf since you're here does this mean that you won your battle?" Misty asks as Leaf speaks.

"Yep, and it was tough. We both had one Pokémon left and just when it looked like I was about to lose Kabutops managed to defeat my opponents Golduck with Night Slash" Leaf says with the two girls nodding as Leaf then looks at the screen and speaks.

"So, how's Ash doing?" Leaf asks as Misty speaks.

"Well like you he's also having a hard time with his opponent too" Misty says with Leaf nodding as they continue to look at the screen. Back on the battlefield Frogadier along with Simipour are panting heavily as Ash begins to think.

"Frogadier's not going to last long I need to end this fast" Ash says to himself as he calls for his next command.

"Frogadier use Aerial Ace!" Ash calls Frogadier nods as when he's about to shoot forward Tony speaks.

"Now Simipour use Grass Knot!" Tony calls "It knows Grass Knot?!" Ash says in surprise as Simipour summons a grassy knot in front of Frogadier that causes the mon to trip and fall. Frogadier groans in pain from the super effective attack as Tony speaks.

"Okay Simipour let's finish it off! Use Hydro Pump!" Tony calls Simipour, takes a deep breath and fires out a large stream of water from its mouth as Ash speaks.

"Frogadier quick use Double Team to dodge!" Ash calls but was too late as the stream of water consumes Frogadier sending him flying as he crashes next to Ash and is laying on his back as the boy speaks.

"Frogadier!" Ash calls in worry as Frogadier tries to stand back up wanting to continue battling but he then closes his eyes and is knocked out as the ref speaks.

"Frogadier's unable to battle Simipour's the winner!" The ref calls allowing for Tony and Simipour to cheer in victory. In the trainer hall Misty along with Leaf and Violet are surprised as Leaf speaks.

"Darn Frogadier was so close" Leaf says as Violet speaks.

"And Ash only has one Pokémon left" Violet says while Misty continues to watch in silence. Back on the battlefield Ash's surprised that Frogadier lost he then breaks out of his shock and picks up the mon. Once he does Frogadier looks at Ash and tells him sorry as Ash speaks.

"It's okay Frogadier you did your best and don't worry I'm still going to win so you take a good rest for now" Ash says with Frogadier nodding as Ash then returns the frog back to his Pokeball. Once he does Ash looks forward having a serious look on his face as Tony speaks.

"You now only have one Pokémon left while I still have two the victory is all but mine" Tony says while having a confident look on his face as Ash smiles and speaks.

"Heh we'll see about that as my last Pokémon will defeat your last two!" Ash says while holding the ball forward he then goes to throw it and speaks.

"Now! Blastoise, I Choose You!" Ash says as he throws the ball high in the air and sends out the mon. Once Blastoise appears from his ball he lands on a land platform and lets out a mighty roar creating a big shockwave that pushes Simipour back a little bit while Tony stands his ground. Once Blastoise is done roaring he looks at Simipour with the water monkey looking at him. Up in the stands Lily speaks.

"I didn't know that Ash had a Blastoise" Lily says as Tracey speaks.

"You see his Wartortle evolved a couple weeks ago by helping put out a house that was on fire" Tracey says with the group nodding as Lana speaks.

"I can feel a lot of power from Blastoise" Lana says as Kiawe speaks.

"Me too he looks a lot stronger than when he was a Wartortle" Kiawe says with the others nodding as they continue to look at the battlefield. Back on the battlefield Tony looks at Ash's Blastoise and begins to think.

"So, his final Pokémon is a Blastoise I hate to admit it, but it does look strong. But that doesn't matter as my last 2 will finish it off" Tony says to himself as he looks at Simipour and speaks.

"Simipour I'm keeping you in" Tony says with the mon nodding as Ash speaks.

"Let's do this Blastoise!" Ash says with the water turtle nodding as he gets in a battle stance. The ref calls for the battle to continue as Ash speaks.

"Okay Blastoise use Surf!" Ash calls Blastoise, lets out a roar and summons a big wave of water that heads for Simipour as Tony speaks.

"That's not going to work! Simipour use Protect!" Tony calls Simipour summons a protective barrier that blocks the Surf as the wave comes crashing down. Once the Surf disappears Tony speaks.

"See what did I tell you? It didn't work" Tony says as Ash speaks.

"Heh and I knew it wasn't going to" Ash says making Tony confused as suddenly Blastoise appears in front of Simipour as Ash speaks.

"Now Blastoise use Skull Bash!" Ash calls before Tony can tell Simipour to dodge Blastoise hits Simipour hard in the stomach with his head. Simipour coughs in pain as It's sent flying and crashes on a nearby land platform. When the dust clears everyone can see that Simipour's knocked out as the ref speaks.

"Simipour's unable to battle Blastoise's the winner!" The ref says making Ash along with Blastoise cheer as Tony returns Simipour back to its Pokeball. Tony then pulls out Ludicolo's Pokeball and speaks.

"Now Ludicolo come out!" Tony says as he throws the ball forward and sends out his Ludicolo who begins to happily dance as Ash speaks.

"Blastoise don't go easy on it" Ash says with Blastoise nodding as he gets in a battle stance the ref calls for the battle to continue as Tony speaks.

"Ludicolo use Leaf Storm!" Tony calls Ludicolo fires out a large storm of leaves that head for Blastoise as Ash speaks.

"Blastoise use Rapid Spin!" Ash calls Blastoise, goes in his shell, spins forward and enters the storm of leaves as Tony speaks.

"You just made a bad move because there's no way that your Blastoise can bypass all of those leaves looks like I do win" Tony says while having a confident look on his face as Ash smirks and speaks.

"You really think so huh? Well then let's try this. Blastoise use Ice Spinner!" Ash calls surprising Tony as in the storm of leaves Blastoise continues to spin, he keeps spinning as his shell becomes ice and is easily blowing the leaves away as Tony speaks.

"Ludicolo quick use Hyper Beam!" "Too late Blastoise hit Ludicolo!" Both trainers' call. Before Ludicolo can fire the beam Blastoise hits Ludicolo causing super effective damage to the mon. Ludicolo then sees Blastoise pointing his canons forward as Ash speaks.

"Now Blastoise use Hydro Pump!" Ash calls Blastoise roars as he fires out 2 streams of water from his canons that consume Ludicolo and sends it flying. Ludicolo keeps going until it passes Tony and hits the wall behind him creating an explosion as Tony speaks.

"Ludicolo!" Tony calls in worry as when the smoke clears everyone can see Ludicolo stuck in the wall and is knocked out as the ref speaks.

"Ludicolo's unable to battle Blastoise's the winner! Seeing as contestant Tony has no more Pokémon left contestant Ash is the winner and will move onto the next round!" The ref says as Ash smiles and speaks.

"Alright!" Ash cheers along with Blastoise who roars in victory while the crowd cheers/claps for them. Back in the trainer hall Misty, Leaf, and Violet cheer too as Leaf speaks.

"He did it!" Leaf says happily with the other two nodding. Meanwhile, back on the battlefield Tony's surprised that he lost then returns Ludicolo back to its Pokeball. He then looks over and sees Ash celebrating with Blastoise as Ash speaks.

"Great job Blastoise I knew you could do it" Ash says with the mon nodding as Ash then returns Blastoise back to his Pokeball. After that Tony comes over to Ash, tells him that it was a good battle as they then shake hands and begin heading back over to the trainer hall. When Ash makes it to the trainer hall he reunites with Misty, Leaf, and Violet who tell him that his battle was great which made Ash happy as he speaks.

"You know I wonder how Nemona's and Barry's battle is going?" Ash says with the other 3 wondering too as they then walk over to another screen that showcases the battle. When they make it, they look at the screen and see that Barry has 2 Pokémon left while Nemona only has 3 left. The group have surprised looks on their faces as Leaf speaks.

"Looks like their battle has been intense too" Leaf says with the group nodding as they continue to look at the screen. On the battlefield we see Barry's Pokémon a Floatzel panting heavily while looking at Nemona's Palafin (in its hero form) who's also panting heavily as Barry begins to think.

"Man, she really is tough I wasn't expecting this much of a challenge against her. But I guess I should've since we both have all 4 of the Orange League badges." Barry says to himself as he then looks at the screen that showcases his along with Nemona's Pokémon. The 5 Pokémon that Barry has used are Gastrodon (East), Lumineon, Golduck, Mantine, and Floatzel with his last Pokémon not revealed yet. Meanwhile, with Nemona the Pokémon she's used so far have been Veluza, Wugtrio, Tatsugiri and Palafin while her last two Pokémon haven't battled yet. Barry then looks forward and speaks.

"Floatzel it's time we take down Palafin! Use Hyper Beam!" Barry calls Floatzel fires out the big orange blast that goes to hit Palafin as Nemona speaks.

"Palafin dodge then use Flip Turn!" Nemona calls Palafin easily dodges Floatzel's attack as it then shoots forward and hits Floatzel causing damage to the mon. Floatzel groans in pain and before it can counterattack Palafin quickly goes back in its Pokeball as what takes its place is a shiny Milotic. Barry has a surprised look on his face as Nemona speaks.

"Milotic use Hydro Pump!" Nemona calls Milotic fires out a big stream of water from its mouth as Barry speaks.

"Floatzel dodge then use Aqua Jet!" Barry calls Floatzel, moves to the left and dodges the attack. Floatzel then covers its body in water and shoots forward heading for Milotic as Nemona speaks.

"Milotic dodge then use Mist!" Nemona calls Milotic easily dodges Floatzel's attack as it then sends out a white Mist that covers the entire battlefield as Barry speaks.

"Floatzel Milotic can appear from anywhere concentrate to find it!" Barry says with Floatzel nodding as it begins to concentrate. As Floatzel continues to concentrate it doesn't hear Milotic anywhere but unknowingly to Floatzel and Barry Milotic's right behind the mon as Nemona speaks.

"Now wrap around Floatzel Milotic!" Nemona calls as Milotic immediately wraps its body around Floatzel. Once it does the Mist goes away and everyone can see Milotic with its body wrapped around Floatzel and squeezing the mon. Floatzel groans in pain as Barry speaks.

"Floatzel use your floatation sacs to get Milotic off you!" Barry says and just when Floatzel's about to do that Nemona speaks.

"Use Hypnosis!" Nemona calls surprising Barry as Milotic looks at Floatzel and sends out hypnotic waves that make Floatzel drowsy until it eventually goes to sleep. Floatzel's now sleeping as Barry speaks.

"Floatzel wake up!" Barry calls but Floatzel continues to happily sleep as Nemona speaks.

"Okay Milotic throw Floatzel high in the air then use Dragon Tail!" Nemona calls Milotic nods as it unwraps its body that was around Floatzel and throws the mon high into the air. Milotic then jumps after Floatzel covers its tail in green dragon energy and hits the mon sending it crashing down on a land platform as Barry speaks.

"Floatzel!" Barry calls in worry. Milotic lands on a land platform and looks forward as when the dust clears everyone can see that Floatzel's laying on its back and is knocked out. The ref then makes the call.

"Floatzel's unable to battle Milotic's the winner!" The ref says making Nemona happy as she along with Milotic cheer. Barry has a surprised look on his face then returns Floatzel back to its Pokeball. Back in the trainer hall the group continue to watch as Leaf speaks.

"And now Barry only has one Pokémon left" Leaf says with Misty and Violet nodding as Ash continues to watch in silence. Back on the battlefield Barry pulls out his final Pokeball he looks at it and speaks.

"Looks like it's all up to you" Barry says as he then looks forward and speaks.

"Go! Empoleon!" Barry says as he throws the ball forward and sends out his Empoleon. Once the mon appears it has a serious look on its face as Nemona speaks.

"So, his last one's an Empoleon" Nemona says as she then looks at Milotic pulls out its Pokeball and speaks.

"Milotic return" Nemona says with the mon nodding as it goes back in its Pokeball Barry speaks.

"You're returning your Milotic? What were you scared that my Empoleon was going to beat it?" Barry asks while having a confident smile on his face as Nemona smirks, pulls out her next Pokeball and speaks.

"No, I just believe that this one would be a much better match. Now! Quaquaval come out!" Nemona says as she throws the ball forward and sends out her Quaquaval. The moment the mon appears it looks at Empoleon with Empoleon looking at it as Barry speaks.

"So, Quaquaval's her final Pokémon." Barry says to himself as he looks at Empoleon and speaks.

"Empoleon let's win!" Barry says with the mon nodding as it along with Quaquaval get into battle stances. The ref calls for the battle to continue as Barry calls for a command.

"Use Drill Peck!" Barry calls Empoleon's beak becomes longer as it then turns into a drill and heads for Quaquaval as Nemona speaks.

"Counter with Liquidation!" Nemona, calls Quaquaval covers its left foot in water shoots forward and collides with Empoleon. The 2 mons go back and forth for a little bit until they break away from each other and land on their respective land platforms. Barry's Empoleon has its mouth opened as Barry speaks.

"Use Hydro Pump!" Barry calls Empoleon fires out a big stream of water that heads for Quaquaval as Nemona speaks.

"Kick it away with Triple Axel!" Nemona calls Quaquaval covers its feet in ice and easily kicks away the Hydro Pump. Once it does that Empoleon suddenly appears in front of it as Barry speaks.

"Now Empoleon use Drill Peck!" Barry calls. Before Nemona can tell Quaquaval to dodge Empoleon turns into a drill and hits the mon causing super effective damage. Quaquaval is pushed back a few feet away and groans in pain as Barry speaks.

"Hah! How'd you like that? Just a few more hits and Empoleon will win!" Barry says while having an excited look on his face as Nemona speaks.

"I'll admit that Drill Peck you landed on Quaquaval was certainly powerful, but you'll need more than that before you can defeat him." Nemona says as Barry speaks.

"I doubt it. Now's time for us to finish Quaquaval off Empoleon use Drill Peck again!" Barry calls Empoleon's beak grows longer as it becomes a drill and shoots forward heading for Quaquaval. When Empoleon's about to hit the mon Nemona smiles and speaks.

"Quaquaval dodge, use Bulk Up, then Close Combat!" Nemona calls Quaquaval manages to easily evade Empoleon's attack. It then increases its physical attack/defense power and shoots forward reaching Empoleon instantly. Before Barry can call for a command Quaquaval begins to kick Empoleon repeatedly with each kick doing more damage than the last. Quaquaval continues to kick Empoleon until it does a spin and kicks Empoleon hard in the stomach with its left foot. Empoleon coughs in pain as it's then sent flying and lands on a land platform nearby. Barry then calls out to the mon.

"Empoleon!" Barry calls in worry. Back on the land platform Empoleon tries to stand back up but it ultimately stays down as the ref speaks.

"Empoleon's unable to battle Quaquaval's the winner! Seeing as contestant Barry has no more Pokémon left contestant Nemona is the winner and will move onto the next round!" The ref says as Nemona smiles and speaks.

"We Did It!" Nemona says happily while Quaquaval smiles. Back in the trainer hall Ash along with Misty and Leaf have surprised looks on their faces as Leaf speaks.

"Looks like Barry couldn't beat Nemona either" Leaf says with Misty agreeing with her while Ash continues to look at the screen. Back on the battlefield Barry's surprised by the outcome of the battle then recomposes himself and returns Empoleon back to its Pokeball. Once he does that, he sees Nemona along with Quaquaval running over to him. When they get close enough Nemona looks at him and speaks.

"That was a great battle Barry" Nemona says as Barry looks at her and speaks.

"Yeah, it was and I'm pretty frustrated that I lost but this just means the next time I battle you my Pokémon and I will be a whole lot stronger, so you better be ready whenever that time comes!" Barry says while having a determined look on his face as Nemona looks at him smiles and speaks.

"Sure, and my Pokémon and I can't wait to battle you again" Nemona says with Quaquaval nodding. Barry smiles as he along with Nemona then shake each other's hands. After that Nemona returns Quaquaval back to its Pokeball as she along with Barry then begin walking back to the trainer hall. When they make it Ash, Misty, Leaf, and Violet tell them that their battle was great which makes both trainers smile. As they continue to talk, they then hear a voice.

"Now will contestants Misty and Violet please come to the battlefield!" The voice says as Misty speaks.

"So, it's finally time" Misty says as Violet speaks.

"Misty let's both give everything we got in this battle" Violet says with Misty agreeing. The others tell them good luck as the 2 girls then begin walking towards the battlefield. 5 minutes later we're now in stadium 1 and see Misty along with Violet on their sides of the battlefield looking at each other and have smiles on their faces. In the crowd Daisy speaks.

"I'm like so looking forward to this!" Daisy says with Lily agreeing with her as Lana looks at them and speaks.

"Is it true that Violet's the strongest Cerulean Gym Leader?" Lana asks as Lily speaks.

"Yes, out of all of us she has the most passion for battles" Lily responds with Lana nodding as Kiawe speaks.

"Sounds like this isn't going to be an easy match for Misty" Kiawe says with the group nodding while Pikachu along with Togepi are cheering loudly for Misty. Back on the battlefield the ref has made himself known and begins to speak.

"This is a 6v6 full battle between contestants Violet and Misty. Both trainers are allowed to switch out their Pokémon whenever they like and whoever defeats all of their opponents Pokémon first will be declared the winner!" The ref says with both girls nodding as the ref continues to speak.

"Now will both trainers please send out your first Pokémon!" The ref says as Misty pulls out a Pokeball and speaks.

"Carracosta come out!" Misty says as she throws the ball forward and sends out her Carracosta. Once the mon appears he has a serious look on his face and waits for his opponent as Violet thinks.

"So, her first one's Carracosta then I'll go with." Violet says to herself as she pulls out a Pokeball and speaks.

"Go! Gastrodon!" Violet says as she throws the ball forward and sends out her Gastrodon (West Sea form). The mon looks forward as Misty thinks.

"She's using Gastrodon first" Misty says to herself as back in the stands Tracey speaks.

"Violet's first Pokémon is a Gastrodon in terms of typing Gastrodon has the advantage" Tracey says as Kukui speaks.

"True but Misty's Carracosta could also have moves that are effective against Gastrodon" Kukui says with Tracey nodding as Lana and Lillie speak.

"Go! Misty!" The 2 girl's cheer. Back on the battlefield the ref speaks.

"Now that both trainers have sent out their first Pokémon let the battle begin!" The ref says as Misty speaks.

"Let's go Carracosta use Stone Edge!" Misty calls Carracosta summons multiple sharp stones around himself and fires them at Gastrodon as Violet speaks.

"Blow those away with Hydro Pump then use Sludge Bomb!" Violet calls Gastrodon fires out a big stream of water out of its mouth and easily destroys all of the sharp stones. After that Gastrodon then fires out multiple bombs of poison that head for Carracosta as Misty speaks.

"Use Liquidation!" Misty calls Carracosta covers both of his fins in water turning them into water blades and begins to easily get rid of the Sludge Bombs. As Carracosta continues to do that Violet calls for her next command.

"Now Gastrodon use Muddy Water!" Violet calls Gastrodon roars as it summons a large wave of brown water that begins heading for Carracosta. Carracosta gets rid of one final Sludge Bomb then looks forward and sees the wave coming for him as Misty speaks.

"Carracosta blow it away with Hyper Beam!" Misty calls. Carracosta takes a deep breath and fires out a big orange beam that collides with the Muddy Water and easily destroys it. Misty smiles as Violet speaks.

"Gastrodon use Body Slam!" Violet calls as suddenly out of the sky appears Gastrodon who falls on top of Carracosta and sends him crashing on the land platform as Misty speaks.

"Carracosta!" Misty calls in worry as she looks forward and sees Gastrodon pinning Carracosta on the platform as Misty speaks.

"Carracosta try getting Gastrodon off you!" Misty calls Carracosta tries but is unable to as Gastrodon won't let it Violet speaks.

"Gastrodon now that you're close use Hydro Pump!" Violet calls Gastrodon, takes a deep breath and is about to fire the move as Misty speaks.

"Carracosta use Rock Smash!" Misty calls Carracosta quickly covers his right fin in red energy, punches Gastrodon hard in the face and manages to get the mon off him. Carracosta stands up and looks at Gastrodon as Misty speaks.

"Now use Rollout!" Misty calls Carracosta curls into a ball and shoots forward heading for Gastrodon as Violet calls for a command.

"Hydro Pump Gastrodon!" "Dodge Carracosta and hit Gastrodon!" Both trainers' call. Gastrodon fires out the large stream of water that goes to hit Carracosta, but the mon easily evades the attack. Carracosta then manages to hit Gastrodon causing more damage to the mon as Misty speaks.

"Okay Carracosta finish Gastrodon off with Liquidation!" Misty calls Carracosta stands back up covers its right fin in water and goes to hit Gastrodon as Violet speaks.

"Don't move Gastrodon" Violet says with the mon nodding as Carracosta then jabs Gastrodon. Back in the stands Lana speaks.

"Nice that Liquidation should've done damage to Gastrodon" Lana says as Daisy speaks.

"Misty just totally made a mistake" Daisy says with Lily agreeing with her as Tracey speaks.

"What do you mean?" Tracey asks as Lily speaks.

"You'll see" Lily responds as he along with the others continue to look at the battle. Back on the battlefield Misty's happy that Carracosta landed the Liquidation on Gastrodon but when she looks at Gastrodon she can see that the mon looks unfazed as Violet speaks.

"Now Gastrodon use Hydro Pump!" Violet calls as Gastrodon fires a big stream of water out of its mouth that consumes Carracosta and sends the mon flying as he lands on a nearby land platform. Misty looks at Carracosta and speaks.

"Carracosta are you okay?!" Misty asks with the mon nodding as he groans in pain and stands back up. Misty then looks forward and speaks.

"That Hydro Pump was a lot stronger than before, what happened?" Misty says as Violet speaks.

"It's because of my Gastrodon's ability Storm Drain" Violet answers as Misty speaks.

"Storm Drain? Of course!" Misty says as up in the stands Lillie speaks.

"What's Storm Drain?" Lillie asks as Kukui speaks.

"Storm Drain is an ability where if a Pokémon with that ability gets hit by a water type move their special attack power will increase" Kukui says as Kiawe speaks.

"So, since Misty's Carracosta landed the Liquidation instead of doing damage to Gastrodon the move increased Gastrodon's special attack" Kiawe says with Kukui nodding as Daisy speaks.

"That's why I said that Misty made a mistake" Daisy says with the others nodding as they continue to watch the battle. Back on the battlefield Misty begins to think.

"I forgot that Violet's Gastrodon had the Storm Drain ability and now her special attack power has increased. Carracosta also suffered a lot of damage from that Hydro Pump so it would be best to switch him out for now." Misty says to herself as she pulls out Carracosta's Pokeball and speaks.

"Carracosta return!" Misty says with the mon nodding as he goes back in his Pokeball. Misty then puts the ball away as Violet speaks.

"That was a good idea Misty if you kept Carracosta in Gastrodon would've defeated him" Violet says as Misty speaks.

"True and now it's this one's turn" Misty says while holding her next Pokeball and speaks.

"Arctovish come out!" Misty says as she throws the ball forward and sends out her Arctovish. When the mon appears, it has a serious look on its face as Violet speaks.

"So, Arctovish is next" Violet says as Jake speaks.

"Contestant Misty has sent out a never-before-seen Pokémon!" Jake says as the crowd looks at the mon having surprised looks on their faces. We now come over to where Lorelai, Rika, Larry, and Hassel are. They're surprised to see Arctovish too as Hassel speaks.

"I've never seen or heard of a Pokémon like that before" Hassel says as Larry speaks.

"If memory serves me right, I remember hearing that in the Galar region they've discovered new never before seen fossil Pokémon" Larry says with the others nodding as Rika speaks.

"I'm interested in seeing how it battles" Rika says as Lorelai continues to look at the battle. Back on the battlefield Violet looks at Gastrodon and speaks.

"Gastrodon this one's tricky be careful!" Violet says with the mon nodding as Misty speaks.

"Let's do this Arctovish!" Misty says with the mon nodding. The ref calls for the battle to continue as Misty speaks.

"Arctovish use Ice Beam!" Misty calls Arctovish fires an icy beam that heads for Gastrodon as Violet speaks.

"Counter with Hydro Pump!" Violet calls Gastrodon fires out a large stream of water that easily gets rid of the icy beam and heads for Arctovish as Misty speaks.

"Get rid of it with Ice Fang!" Misty calls Arctovish covers its teeth in ice and bites down on the Hydro Pump easily destroying it as Violet speaks.

"Now use Stone Edge!" Violet calls Gastrodon summons multiple large sharp stones around itself and fires them at Arctovish as Misty speaks.

"Arctovish dive into the water to dodge then use Ice Beam!" Misty calls Arctovish quickly dives into the water and avoids the sharp stones. A couple seconds later Arctovish appears and fires an icy beam that heads for Gastrodon as Violet speaks.

"Use Rock Blast!" Violet calls Gastrodon fires out 2 rocks that easily break through the icy beam and hit Arctovish causing damage to the mon as Violet calls for her next command.

"Okay Gastrodon use Muddy Water!" Violet calls Gastrodon roars as it summons a large wave of water that begins heading for Arctovish Misty quickly calls for a command.

"Counter with Blizzard!" Misty calls Arctovish roars and summons a massive blizzard that connects with the Muddy Water and completely freezes it. Once that happens Misty sees Gastrodon falling towards Arctovish as Violet speaks.

"Use Body Slam!" "Arctovish back away!" Both trainers' call. When Gastrodon's about to slam its body onto Arctovish the mon quickly backs away causing Gastrodon to land on the water instead. Gastrodon then looks at Arctovish as Violet speaks.

"Gastrodon use Stone Edge!" Violet calls Gastrodon summons multiple sharp stones around itself and fires them at Arctovish as Misty speaks.

"Use Waterfall!" Misty calls Arctovish covers its body in water and swims forward easily breaking through the sharp stones. After Arctovish gets rid of the last Stone Edge it's about to hit Gastrodon as Misty speaks.

"Arctovish stop right there!" Misty says as Arctovish immediately stops in front of Gastrodon. Violet along with everyone else have confused looks on their faces as Misty smiles and speaks.

"Arctovish now that your close use Freeze Dry!" Misty calls "It knows Freeze Dry?!" Violet says in surprise as before she can tell Gastrodon to dodge Arctovish fires out a gust of cold air that connects with Gastrodon, causing major damage and freezes the mon. Inside the ice Gastrodon's groaning in pain as Misty speaks.

"Okay Arctovish now use Waterfall!" Misty calls Arctovish covers its body in water shoots forward and hits the frozen Gastrodon. Gastrodon breaks out of ice and is sent flying as it then lands on a land platform as Violet speaks.

"Gastrodon!" Violet calls in concern as when she along with everyone else look at Gastrodon they can see that it's knocked out. The ref makes the call.

"Gastrodon's unable to battle Arctovish's the winner!" The ref says making Misty smile as she speaks.

"Great job Arctovish!" Misty says happily with the mon nodding. Back in the stands Tracey speaks.

"I see so by having Arctovish use Waterfall to get close to Gastrodon it allowed for Misty to have Arctovish use Freeze Dry which does more damage to water type Pokémon." Tracey says as Kukui speaks.

"Then after the Freeze Dry froze Gastrodon Misty had Arctovish finish it off with Waterfall and since Gastrodon was frozen in the ice its Storm Drain ability couldn't activate which allowed for Arctovish to win." Kukui says with the group nodding while Pikachu, Togepi, Lana, Lillie, Daisy, and Lily cheer on Misty. Back on the battlefield Violet returns Gastrodon back to its Pokeball and tells the mon thank you. Violet then puts the ball away as she then looks forward and speaks.

"I didn't expect that your Arctovish knew Freeze Dry Misty" Violet says as Misty speaks.

"Arctovish just learned it recently and we wanted to catch you by surprise" Misty says with Arctovish nodding as Violet smiles and speaks.

"I see well let's see how you'll deal with my next Pokémon. Kingdra come out!" Violet says as she throws the ball forward and sends out her Kingdra. When the mon appears, it has a serious look on its face and looks at Arctovish with Arctovish looking at it as up in the stands Tracey speaks.

"Violet's bringing in a Kingdra next?" Tracey says while having a surprised look on his face as Kiawe speaks.

"She probably has a plan" Kiawe says with the group nodding as they continue to watch. Back on the battlefield Misty's also surprised by Violet's choice and begins to think.

"Why'd she bring in Kingdra? She should know that there's no way for her to beat Arctovish" Misty says to herself as she looks forward and speaks.

"I'm not sure why you brought in Kingdra Violet but whatever plan you have we'll beat it!" Misty states with Arctovish agreeing with her while Violet smiles. The ref then calls for the battle to continue as Misty speaks.

"Arctovish use Ice Beam!" Misty calls Arctovish fires out an icy beam at Kingdra as Violet speaks.

"Kingdra dodge then use Dragon Dance!" Violet calls Kingdra moves to the left and dodges the Ice Beam. Kingdra then roars as it has purple draconic energy spinning around it, once the energy stops Kingdra can feel its attack/speed increase as Violet speaks.

"Now Kingdra swim forward!" Violet calls Kingdra nods as it begins swimming towards Arctovish Misty speaks.

"Arctovish when Kingdra gets close to you use Freeze Dry!" Misty calls with Arctovish nodding as it looks at the incoming Kingdra. As Kingdra's getting closer Arctovish's about to fire the move as Violet smiles and speaks.

"Kingdra use Disable!" Violet calls as Kingdra's eyes glow and disables Arctovish's attack. Misty along with Arctovish have surprised looks on their faces as Misty speaks.

"It's okay Arctovish use Blizzard!" "Counter with Flash Cannon!" Both trainers' call. When Arctovish's about to fire the Blizzard Kingdra shoots out a steel beam that hits Arctovish, causing super effective damage and creating an explosion. When the explosion clears Arctovish's groaning in pain and can feel its special defense decrease as Misty speaks.

"Arctovish let's get in close use Waterfall!" Misty calls Arctovish covers its body in water and begins swimming towards Kingdra as Violet speaks.

"Kingdra use Double Team to dodge then use Iron Head!" Violet calls when Arctovish goes to hit Kingdra, Kingdra summons multiple clones of itself and dodges Arctovish's attack. After that Kingdra covers its head in steel energy shoots forward and hits Arctovish causing super effective damage to the mon as Violet speaks.

"Kingdra use Octazooka!" "Arctovish quick use Ice Fang!" Both trainers' call. Arctovish's unable to use Ice Fang because it's currently flinching from the Iron Head. This allows for Kingdra to fire some ink out of its mouth which hits Arctovish's eyes blinding the mon as Violet speaks.

"Now Kingdra use Flip Turn!" Violet calls Kingdra shoots forward and hits Arctovish. Before Arctovish can counter Kingdra goes back in its ball allowing for one of its teammates to take its place. The next Pokémon to appear is a Lapras, once the mon lands on the water it lets out a roar and looks at Arctovish as Violet speaks.

"Lapras use Thunder!" Violet calls Lapras roars to the sky as out of it comes a large electric bolt that heads for Arctovish as Misty speaks.

"Arctovish use Protect!" Misty calls Arctovish quickly summons a protective barrier and blocks the attack. Violet knew Misty was going to do that and calls for her next command.

"Lapras use Freeze-Dry!" Violet calls surprising Misty as Lapras fires out a gust of cold air that connects with Arctovish, causes damage and completely freezes the mon. Misty has a surprised look on her face as Violet calls for her next command.

"Lapras use Thunder again!" "Arctovish break out of there!" Both trainers call Lapras roars to the sky and summons a big electric bolt that heads for Arctovish. Unfortunately for Misty Arctovish can't dodge as it's completely frozen in the ice, a couple seconds later the Thunder comes crashing down it easily breaks through the ice and begins to shock Arctovish. Arctovish cries out in pain as a few seconds later there's an explosion as Misty speaks.

"Arctovish!" Misty calls in worry. Everyone looks forward and when the smoke clears, they can see that Arctovish's floating on top of the water and is knocked out. The ref then makes the call.

"Arctovish's unable to battle Lapras's the winner!" The ref says making Violet along with Lapras smile. Back in the stands Kukui speaks.

"So, the reason as to why Violet brought in Kingdra was for it to disable Arctovish's Freeze-Dry attack, use Flash Cannon along with Iron Head to lower Arctovish's attack and cause Arctovish to flinch. Then once Kingdra had blinded Arctovish with Octazooka Violet had Kingdra use Flip Turn which allowed for Lapras to come in a finish off Arctovish." Kukui says as Tracey speaks.

"Violet must've known that Arctovish would've been difficult to deal with later on, so she decided to get rid of it early." Tracey says with the group nodding. Back on the battlefield Misty returns Arctovish back to its Pokeball, tells the mon thank you and puts the ball away. Misty then looks forward and sees Violet return Lapras back to its Pokeball as Misty speaks.

"You're returning Lapras?" Misty asks as Violet speaks.

"Yep, I'm going to save Lapras for later and I'll bring this one back in" Violet says as she throws her next Pokeball forward and brings Kingdra back in. Kingdra looks forward and waits for its opponent as Misty begins to think.

"She's brought Kingdra back in then I'll go with" Misty says to herself as she pulls out her next Pokeball and speaks.

"Carracosta come back out!" Misty says as she throws the ball forward and sends Carracosta back in. When the mon appears, he has a serious look on his face then groans a little in pain as Misty thinks.

"Carracosta's still injured from his battle with Gastrodon earlier, but I know that he can beat Kingdra" Misty says to herself as she looks at Carracosta and speaks.

"Carracosta I'm counting on you!" Misty says with the mon nodding as he along with Kingdra get into battle stances. The ref calls for the battle to continue as Violet speaks.

"Hydro Pump Kingdra!" Violet calls Kingdra fires out a big stream of water that goes to hit Carracosta as Misty speaks.

"Cut it in half with Liquidation!" Misty calls Carracosta covers its right fin in water and slices the Hydro Pump in half. When he does that suddenly Kingdra appears in front of him as Violet speaks.

"Iron Head Kingdra!" "Carracosta dodge then use Scald!" Both trainers' call. Kingdra covers its head in steel energy and goes to hit Carracosta. Carracosta moves to the right and evades Kingdra's attack. Carracosta then fires out a hot stream of water from his mouth that goes to hit Kingdra as Violet speaks.

"Dodge Kingdra then use Flash Cannon!" Violet calls Kingdra quickly moves to the left and dodges the Scald. Kingdra then fires out a steel beam that goes to hit Carracosta as Misty speaks.

"Carracosta block!" Misty calls Carracosta quickly brings up his arms and blocks the Flash cannon as the move pushes Carracosta into the water Violet speaks.

"Kingdra go after Carracosta!" Violet calls Kingdra dives into the water and begins swimming after Carracosta. In the water Carracosta sees Kingdra swimming towards him as Misty speaks.

"Carracosta use Liquidation!" Misty calls Carracosta, covers both of his fin arms in water and begins swimming towards Kingdra as Violet speaks.

"Kingdra use Double Team to dodge then use Dragon Dance!" Violet calls. When Carracosta goes to hit Kingdra, Kingdra quickly summons clones of itself and dodges Carracosta's attack. Kingdra then roars as purple draconic energy dances around its body and then a few seconds later it goes away. Kingdra can feel its attack/speed increase and looks at Carracosta as Violet speaks.

"Use Iron Head!" Violet calls Kingdra covers its head in steel energy and swims forward quickly catching up to Carracosta as Misty speaks.

"Carracosta counter with Rock Smash!" Misty calls Carracosta turns around he quickly covers his right fin in red energy and collides with Kingdra. When the 2 mons collide, they begin pushing each other back and forth. Carracosta tries his best to knock Kingdra away but Kingdra's too strong and manages to push Carracosta back as Violet calls for her next command.

"Now Kingdra use Flash Cannon!" "Carracosta counter with Scald!" Both trainers' call. Kingdra fires out a steel beam while Carracosta fires out a hot stream of water. The 2 attacks connect and create an explosion. A couple seconds later Carracosta jumps out of the water and is now high in the air while Kingdra appears above the surface of the water and looks at Carracosta as Misty speaks.

"Carracosta use Stone Edge!" Misty calls Carracosta, creates multiple sharp stones around himself and fires them at Kingdra as Violet speaks.

"Kingdra blow them away with Hydro Pump!" Violet calls as Kingdra fires out a large stream of water that easily destroys all of the sharp stones and goes to hit Carracosta as Misty speaks.

"Now use Rollout!" Misty calls Carracosta curls into a ball rolls down fast and hits Kingdra hard on the head sending the mon further down into the water as Violet speaks.

"Kingdra use Flash Cannon!" Violet calls Kingdra recomposes itself looks at Carracosta and fires out a large steel beam that heads for Carracosta as Misty speaks.

"Block Carracosta!" Misty calls Carracosta quickly brings up his arms as the steel beam connects and sends Carracosta out of the water. Carracosta flies high in the air then lands on a nearby land platform. After that Kingdra comes back to the surface of the water and looks at Carracosta as Violet speaks.

"Kingdra it's time to increase your water type moves! Use Rain Dance!" Violet calls Kingdra roars to the sky as it becomes cloudy and begins to rain. As the rain's falling down on the battlefield Violet calls for her next command.

"Hydro Pump!" Violet calls Kingdra takes a deep breath and fires out a large Hydro Pump that heads for Carracosta as Misty speaks.

"Carracosta dodge!" Misty calls Carracosta quickly moves to the left and dodges the attack. When he does Kingdra suddenly appears in front of him as Violet speaks.

"Use Iron Head!" Violet calls Kingdra covers its head in steel energy and hits Carracosta causing not only major damage but also getting a critical hit (Violet's Kingdra has the Sniper ability). Carracosta's groaning in pain as he looks at Kingdra Violet speaks.

"Kingdra it's time to finish Carracosta off. Use Hydro Pump!" Violet calls Kingdra nods as it fires out another large Hydro Pump that goes to hit Carracosta as Misty smiles and speaks.

"Sorry Violet but that's not going to work! Carracosta dodge then use Aqua Jet!" Misty calls as Carracosta easily dodges the move, he then covers his body in water shoots forward and hits Kingdra causing damage to the mon as Violet speaks.

"Use Flash Cannon!" "Carracosta dodge with Aqua Jet!" Both trainers' call. When Kingdra fires the steel beam Carracosta easily dodges the attack as it hits a nearby land platform instead. Violet has a surprised look on her face as she begins to think.

"How is her Carracosta moving so fast?" Violet says to herself as after thinking for a couple seconds she looks at Misty and speaks.

"Misty does your Carracosta have the Swift Swim ability?" Violet asks with Misty nodding as she speaks.

"Yes, he does thanks to you for having Kingdra use Rain Dance Carracosta has gotten a lot faster than before and now I'll make him not only faster but stronger as well. Carracosta use Shell Smash!" Misty says as Carracosta roars his body glows white for a little bit then bursts. There's then a blue light that goes down showcasing that his defense got lower and there's also a red light that goes up showcasing that his attack/speed have increased. Carracosta looks forward as Violet speaks.

"Let's keep going Kingdra! Use Hydro Pump!" Violet calls Kingdra fires another large stream of water at Carracosta as Misty speaks.

"Carracosta get rid of it with Liquidation then use Aqua Jet!" Misty calls Carracosta covers his right fin in water swings it and easily cuts the Hydro Pump in half. Carracosta then covers his body in water and shoots forward heading for Kingdra as Violet speaks.

"Kingdra use Double Team to dodge then use Iron Head!" Violet calls Kingdra quickly creates multiple copies of itself and dodges Carracosta's attack. Kingdra then covers its head in steel energy and goes to hit Carracosta as Misty speaks.

"Carracosta use Iron Defense!" Misty calls Carracosta's body glows his defense power has sharply increased as Kingdra then hits him. Carracosta groans a little in pain but is overall fine as he looks at Kingdra Misty speaks.

"Use Scald Carracosta!" Misty calls Carracosta quickly fires out a hot stream of water that hits Kingdra in the face and causes damage to the mon. Then when the Scald goes away Kingdra is then consumed in flames making the mon cry out in pain as Misty speaks.

"Okay Carracosta it's time to land the finishing blow use Liquidation!" "Kingdra dodge!" Both trainers' call. Carracosta covers both of his arms in water and goes to hit Kingdra. Kingdra's unable to dodge because it's still being burned by the fire and a couple seconds later Carracosta slashes the mon. Kingdra groans in pain as it lays on its left side Violet speaks.

"Kingdra!" Violet calls in worry as she along with everyone else can see Kingdra floating on top of the water as the ref speaks.

"Kingdra's unable to battle Carracosta's the winner!" The ref says making Misty as she along with Carracosta cheer and the Rain Dance goes away. Violet's sad that Kingdra lost but returns the mon back to its Pokeball and tells it thank you. Violet then puts the ball away as she looks forward and speaks.

"Not bad Misty but how will you deal with my next one" Violet says as she throws her next Pokeball forward and sends her Lapras back out. Once the mon appears it lets out a mighty roar then looks at Carracosta with Carracosta looking at it as Misty begins to think.

"So, she brought Lapras back out. Carracosta suffered a lot of damage in his battles with Kingdra and Gastrodon I should switch him for now" Misty says to herself as she pulls out Carracosta's Pokeball and speaks.

"Carracosta return!" Misty says with the mon nodding as he goes back in his Pokeball. Misty then puts the ball away as she pulls out her next Pokeball and speaks.

"Milotic it's your turn!" Misty says as she throws the ball forward and sends out her Milotic. Once Milotic appears the crowd looks at the mon in awe of her beauty as in the trainer hall Leaf speaks.

"Nice Misty's using Milotic next" Leaf says as Nemona speaks.

"Wow hers looks as pretty as mine" Nemona says as Barry speaks.

"Will her Milotic be enough to defeat Lapras?" Barry questions as Ash speaks.

"Yes, she will be" Ash responds with Barry nodding as they continue to watch the screen. Back on the battlefield Violet looks at Misty's Milotic then back at her Lapras and speaks.

"Lapras just because Milotic looks pretty doesn't mean that it's weak don't underestimate her!" Violet says with Lapras nodding as it along with Milotic get into battle stances. The ref then calls for the battle to continue as Violet speaks.

"Thunder Lapras!" Violet calls Lapras roars to the sky and summons a large electric bolt that heads for Milotic as Misty speaks.

"Dodge Milotic then use Hydro Pump!" Misty calls Milotic dodges the electric bolt by moving to the left as she then fires out a large stream of water that goes to hit Lapras as Violet speaks.

"Knock it away with your head Lapras then use Sparkling Aria!" Violet calls Lapras swings out its head and easily knocks the Hydro Pump away. Lapras then lets out a beautiful voice summons multiple water orbs around itself and fires them at Milotic as Misty speaks.

"Milotic dodge by swimming around!" Misty calls Milotic nods as she begins swimming around the water doing her best to dodge the Sparkling Aria. As Milotic continues to dodge Misty notices Lapras body is sparking with electricity as Violet speaks.

"Use Thunder!" Violet calls Lapras roars and summons a large electric bolt from the sky that goes to hit Milotic as Misty speaks.

"Milotic quick dodge!" Misty calls Milotic quickly swims back and dodges the electric bolt as Violet speaks.

"Lapras, have it follow Milotic!" Violet calls Lapras nods as before its Thunder hits the water it controls the move, has it go after Milotic and hit the mon shocking her. Misty has a surprised look on her face while Milotic cries out in pain, a couple seconds later the Thunder disappears as we see Milotic having some scratches on her body and panting heavily. Back in the stands Tracey speaks.

"I wasn't expecting Violet's Lapras to control the Thunder like that" Tracey says as Lily speaks.

"Before coming here Violet was training her Pokémon a lot and figured that her Lapras being able to control its Thunder attack would be helpful" Lily says with the group nodding. Back on the battlefield Milotic continues to groan in pain as Violet speaks.

"Lapras don't let up use Freeze Dry!" Violet calls Lapras lets out a gust of cold air from its mouth that goes to hit Milotic as Misty speaks.

"Milotic dodge then use Recover!" Misty calls Milotic quickly moves to the left and dodges the attack. Milotic then glows and begins to heal herself as Violet speaks.

"Now Lapras use Thunder!" Violet calls Lapras summons another large electric bolt from the sky that goes to hit Milotic as Misty speaks.

"Milotic quick use Mirror Coat!" Misty calls before Milotic can finish healing the Thunder comes crashing down on her causing super effective damage. Milotic cries out in pain as when the Thunder goes away Milotic summons a mirror in front of herself and out of it comes a blast of energy that heads for Lapras as Violet speaks.

"Intercept it with Hydro Pump!" Violet calls Lapras fires out a big stream of water that collides with the Mirror Coat creating an explosion. Out of the explosion appears Milotic, she's now in front of Lapras as Misty speaks.

"Milotic wrap your body around Lapras!" Misty calls Milotic quickly wraps her body around Lapras and begins to squeeze the mon making Lapras groan a little in pain as Violet speaks.

"Lapras use Freeze-Dry!" "Milotic use Iron Head!" Both trainers' call. Before Lapras can fire its attack Milotic covers her head in steel energy and hits Lapras hard in the face causing super effective damage to the mon as Misty speaks.

"Now Milotic use Confuse Ray!" "Lapras use Hydro Pump!" Both trainers' call. Lapras can't fire its Hydro Pump as it's flinching from the Iron Head. This allows for Milotic to fire out 3 orbs of light that shine brightly in front of Lapras and makes the mon confused. Misty then smiles and speaks.

"Okay Milotic now use Iron Head repeatedly!" "Lapras use Freeze-Dry!" Both trainers' call. Lapras can't attack as it's confused while Milotic covers its head in steel energy and begins to hit Lapras repeatedly. With each hit Milotic lands on Lapras it causes more damage to the mon as Misty smiles and speaks.

"That's it Milotic! Keep going!" Misty calls with Milotic nodding as she continues to hit Lapras. Violet's trying to think of a way for Lapras to break free but can't since Lapras is still confused. Then once Milotic hits Lapras again Violet notices that Lapras has broken out of its confused state. Violet then smiles and speaks.

"Lapras it's time to counterattack use Thunder!" Violet calls as Lapras lets out a roar and summons a large electric bolt from the sky. As the Thunder is getting closer and closer Misty smiles and speaks.

"I knew you'd do that Milotic quick let go and dive into the water!" Misty calls Milotic quickly lets go of Lapras and dives deep into the water as the Thunder then hits Lapras. Lapras cries out in pain from its own Thunder surprising Violet as she thinks.

"I see so she knew that the moment Lapras broke out of the confusion that I would call for Thunder and just when the attack was going to hit Milotic, she had Milotic let go at last second so it could hit Lapras instead." Violet says to herself as back on the battlefield the Thunder disappears Lapras's groaning in pain and can feel electricity flowing throughout its body showcasing that it's paralyzed. Lapras continues to groan in pain as Misty speaks.

"Milotic use Iron Head!" Misty calls as out of the water appears Milotic who upper cuts Lapras's face causing more damage to the mon. Milotic then looks at Lapras and opens her mouth as Misty speaks.

"Now Milotic use Hydro Pump!" "Lapras dodge!" Both trainers' call. Milotic fires out a large stream of water that goes to hit Lapras. Lapras sees the attack coming and is unable to dodge because the Iron Head is making it flinch. A couple seconds later the Hydro Pump connects with Lapras consuming the mon and pushes it into a nearby land platform as Violet speaks.

"Lapras!" Violet calls in worry as when the Hydro Pump disappears everyone can see that Lapras is knocked out as the ref speaks.

"Lapras's unable to battle Milotic's the winner!" The ref says making Misty along with Milotic cheer in victory. On the other side of the battlefield Violet's sad that Lapras lost but then returns the mon back to its Pokeball and says thank you. Violet then puts the ball away as she looks over at Misty and speaks.

"You're doing well so far Misty" Violet says as Misty speaks.

"Thank you and just 3 more to go and we'll win!" Misty says with Milotic agreeing with her as Violet smiles and speaks.

"You sound very confident Misty but let's see how long that confidence of yours will last against my next Pokémon." Violet says while holding a Pokeball in her hand as she goes to throw it.

"Gyarados come out!" Violet says as she throws the ball forward and sends out her Gyarados. When the mon appears, it lets out a mighty roar showcasing its power. It then looks at Milotic and has a serious look on its face with Milotic having a serious look too. Back in the trainer hall Barry speaks.

"So, her next Pokémon's a Gyarados" Barry says as Nemona speaks.

"It looks pretty strong" Nemona says as Ash speaks.

"True but I'm sure that Misty can beat it" Ash says as Leaf speaks.

"Go! Misty and Milotic!" Leaf cheers loudly. Back on the battlefield Misty looks at Violet's Gyarados then back at Milotic and speaks.

"Milotic I'm keeping you in!" Misty says with Milotic nodding as she along with Gyarados get into battle stances. The ref then calls for the battle to continue as Violet speaks.

"Gyarados use Roar!" Violet calls as Gyarados lets out a mighty roar that sends Milotic back to her Pokeball and brings Carracosta back on the battlefield. Carracosta has a surprised look on his face as Violet speaks.

"Gyarados Waterfall!" Violet calls Gyarados covers its body in water and swims forward heading for Carracosta as Misty speaks.

"Carracosta dodge!" Misty calls Carracosta quickly jumps over to the nearest land platform and dodges the attack as Gyarados destroys the land platform that he was on earlier. Carracosta then looks at Gyarados as Misty speaks.

"Carracosta use Stone Edge!" Misty calls Carracosta summons multiple large sharp stones around himself and fires them at Gyarados as Violet speaks.

"Gyarados use Dive!" Violet calls Gyarados quickly dives deep in the water and avoids the sharp stones. After that Gyarados swims back to the surface and bursts out of the water launching Carracosta high into the air. Carracosta groans in pain and begins falling back towards the water as Violet speaks.

"Now Gyarados use Hydro Pump!" "Carracosta quick use Aqua Jet to dodge!" Both trainers' call. Carracosta's unable to dodge in time as Gyarados fires out a large stream of water that consumes Carracosta and sends the mon flying. Carracosta goes past Misty and crashes into the wall behind her creating a dust cloud as Misty looks back and speaks.

"Carracosta!" Misty calls in worry as when the dust clears everyone can see that Carracosta is stuck in the wall and can't battle anymore as the ref speaks.

"Carracosta's unable to battle Gyarados's the winner!" The ref says. Gyarados roars in victory while Violet smiles. Misty returns Carracosta back to his Pokeball and tells the mon thank you. Misty then pulls out her next Pokeball and speaks.

"Milotic come back out!" Misty says as she throws the ball forward and brings Milotic back out. Milotic looks at Gyarados with Gyarados looking at her as Violet speaks.

"So, you're brought Milotic back in" Violet says as Misty speaks.

"Yes, and she's going to take down Gyarados!" Misty says as Violet smiles. The ref calls for the battle to continue as Violet speaks.

"Hydro Pump Gyarados!" Violet calls Gyarados fires out a big stream of water that goes to hit Milotic as Misty speaks.

"Milotic dodge then use Recover!" Misty calls Milotic easily dodges the Hydro Pump and when she gets a good enough distance, she glows in a healing light and begins to heal as Violet speaks.

"Gyarados Hyper Beam!" Violet calls Gyarados roars as it fires out a big orange beam that hits Milotic creating an explosion as Misty speaks.

"Milotic!" Misty calls in worry as when the smoke clears everyone can see Milotic laying on the surface of the water and is knocked out as the ref speaks.

"Milotic's unable to battle Gyarados's the winner!" The ref says as Gyarados lets out a roar in victory while Violet smiles. Back in the stands Tracey speaks.

"Gyarados defeated two of Misty's Pokémon just like that." Tracey says while having a surprised look on his face as Kiawe speaks.

"Don't forget that Milotic along with Carracosta were already injured from their battles earlier so it makes sense that Gyarados took them out quickly." Kiawe says with Tracey nodding as Kukui speaks.

"Honestly even if that wasn't the case, I feel that if even if they were fully healed, they still would've lost to Gyarados, but it would've taken a while for Gyarados to beat them." Kukui says with the group nodding. Back on the battlefield Misty's surprised that Milotic lost but then recomposes herself and returns the mon back to her Pokeball. She then looks forward and begins to think.

"Violet's Gyarados is as strong as I remember so I'll need to use a Pokémon that can match her strength." Misty says to herself as she holds her next Pokeball and speaks.

"It's your turn Slo-" Before Misty can finish suddenly one of her Pokeball's open and Psyduck appears. Misty along with the crowd have surprised looks on their faces as Misty looks at the duck and speaks.

"Psyduck why did you come out of your Pokeball?" Misty asks as Psyduck looks at her and speaks.

"Psy, duck, psy" Psyduck tells Misty that he wants to be the one to battle Gyarados. Misty has a surprised look on her face as she looks at Psyduck and speaks.

"Psyduck are you sure about this? Because Gyarados is really strong" Misty asks with Psyduck nodding as he has a serious look on his face. Misty looks at Psyduck smiles and speaks.

"Okay Psyduck I'll put my trust in you" Misty says with Psyduck nodding as he goes on one of the land platforms and looks at Gyarados Violet speaks.

"Wait you're seriously going to use Psyduck against my Gyarados? He stands no chance" Violet says as Misty speaks.

"If this was a few months ago then I'd agree with you but since then I've been training Psyduck, and he's grown a lot stronger. If he's confident that he can beat Gyarados then I'll believe that he can." Misty says with Psyduck agreeing with her as Violet speaks.

"Okay then show us what you can do" Violet says with Gyarados roaring in agreement as it along with Psyduck get into battle stances. The 2 trainers along with their Pokémon continue to look at each other waiting for the battle to start as the ref speaks.

"Let the battle continue!" The ref says as Violet speaks.

"Let's attack first Gyarados! Use Waterfall!" Violet calls Gyarados roars it covers its body in water and swims forward going to hit Psyduck as Misty speaks.

"Psyduck use Psychic to send Gyarados back!" Misty calls Psyduck nods as he concentrates and fires multiple waves of psychic energy that connect with Gyarados and push the mon back a few feet away. Violet has a surprised look on her face as Misty speaks.

"Great job Psyduck now use Calm Mind then Psyshock!" Misty calls Psyduck closes his eyes, calms his mind and increases his special attack/defense. Psyduck opens his eyes as he creates multiple orbs of psychic energy around himself and fires them at Gyarados as Violet speaks.

"Gyarados use Hyper Beam!" Violet calls Gyarados roars as it fires a large orange beam that easily destroys the psychic orbs and goes to hit Psyduck as Misty speaks.

"Use Psychic to send it back!" Misty calls Psyduck fires the waves of psychic energy that connects with the Hyper Beam. Psyduck struggles a little bit but then manages to send the blast back at Gyarados and hit the mon in the face creating an explosion as Violet speaks.

"Gyarados!" Violet calls in worry as when the smoke clears Gyarados has some scratches on its body but is overall fine making Violet smile as she calls for her next command.

"Gyarados let's get in close use Waterfall!" Violet calls Gyarados roars as it covers its body in water and shoots forward heading for Psyduck as Misty speaks.

"Psyduck stop Gyarados with Psychic!" Misty calls Psyduck quickly fires out the waves of psychic energy and manages to hold Gyarados in place as Violet speaks.

"Gyarados break out of there with Crunch!" Violet calls Gyarados covers its teeth in dark energy and is about to break out of the psychic as Misty speaks.

"Now Psyduck use Disable!" Misty calls surprising Violet as Psyduck's eyes glow and disables Gyarados's Crunch attack surprising the sea serpent. Gyarados then looks at Psyduck and sees him building up Psychic energy as Misty speaks.

"Psyduck use Psyshock!" Misty calls Psyduck summons multiple psychic orbs and fires them at Gyarados. Violet calls for Gyarados to dodge but the mon can't as it's still being held by the psychic. After that the psychic orbs make contact with Gyarados and there are multiple explosions making Gyarados roar in pain. A couple seconds later the smoke clears as Violet looks at Gyarados and speaks.

"Gyarados are you okay?!" Violet asks as Gyarados looks back at Violet and nods as it then looks at Psyduck Misty speaks.

"Psyduck use Hydro Pump!" Misty calls Psyduck fires out a large stream of water that goes to hit Gyarados as Violet speaks.

"Gyarados use Dive!" Violet calls Gyarados quickly dives into the water and dodges Psyduck's attack. Gyarados dives deep in the water then swims upwards and shoots out of it knocking Psyduck high in the air. Psyduck then begins to freak out as Violet speaks.

"Gyarados use Hyper Beam!" Violet calls Gyarados begins to charge up the blast as Misty speaks.

"Psyduck calm down and use Psychic to stop Gyarados!" Misty calls up in the air Psyduck hears Misty and manages to calm himself down. Psyduck then looks at Gyarados and fires the psychic waves that connect with Gyarados. Psyduck then forcibly closes Gyarados's mouth shut which causes the Hyper Beam that it was charging up to blow up inside Gyarados's mouth causing more damage to the mon. Psyduck continues falling towards Gyarados and has his head ready as Misty speaks.

"Psyduck use Zen Headbutt!" Misty calls before Violet can call for a command Psyduck covers his head in psychic energy and hits his head on Gyarados's head causing more damage to the sea serpent. Gyarados groans a little in pain then gets its tail ready as Violet speaks.

"Gyarados use Aqua Tail!" Violet calls Gyarados covers its tail in water and hits Psyduck sending the mon flying as he crashes on a land platform a few feet away Misty speaks.

"Psyduck!" Misty calls in worry as Psyduck stands back up and looks at Gyarados as Violet speaks.

"Gyarados use Waterfall!" Violet calls Gyarados covers its body in water and begins swimming towards Psyduck as Misty speaks.

"Hold Gyarados in place Psyduck!" Misty calls Psyduck fires the waves of psychic energy that go to connect with Gyarados as Violet speaks.

"Use Crunch Gyarados!" Violet calls Gyarados covers its teeth in dark energy and bites down on the Psychic easily destroying it as Misty speaks.

"Darn the Disable wore off" Misty says as she sees Gyarados getting closer to Psyduck Violet speaks.

"Do it Gyarados!" Violet calls Gyarados roars and goes to hit Psyduck as Misty speaks.

"Psyduck use Protect!" Misty calls Psyduck quickly summons a protective barrier and blocks Gyarados's attack. While Psyduck continues to block Gyarados's attack he notices the barrier starting to crack as Violet speaks.

"Just a little more Gyarados!" "Come on Psyduck you can do it!" Both trainers cheer. Gyarados roars increasing the power of its Waterfall and is cracking the barrier more and more. Just when the barrier's about to break Psyduck brings out more power causing the barrier to become full again and bounces Gyarados away. Once Psyduck does that Gyarados begins to charge up a Hyper Beam as Violet speaks.

"Sorry to say this Misty but this is the end. Gyarados use Hyper Beam!" Violet calls Gyarados lets out a mighty roar and fires a big Hyper Beam that goes to hit Psyduck as Misty smiles and speaks.

"Yes, Violet it is the end, but not for Psyduck! Psyduck use Mirror Coat!" Misty calls surprising Violet as the Hyper Beam hits Psyduck creating an explosion. When the explosion clears Psyduck has scratches on his body and is groaning in pain. Psyduck then looks at Gyarados summons a mirror and out of the mirror comes a large blast that consumes Gyarados. Gyarados cries out in pain as it's sent flying out of the battlefield, going past Violet and crashes into the wall behind her as Violet speaks.

"Gyarados!" Violet calls in worry as when the smoke clears everyone can see Gyarados laying on the ground knocked out as the ref speaks.

"Gyarados's unable to battle Psyduck's the winner!" The ref says as Misty speaks.

"Amazing Psyduck you did it!" Misty says happily as Psyduck smiles. Back in the stands Lily speaks.

"I knew that Misty has been training her Psyduck, but I never would've imagined that he would beat Violet's Gyarados" Lily says with Daisy agreeing with her as Lana speaks.

"Back when Misty used Psyduck on the SS. Anne during a training battle against Ash he wasn't much of a battler, but it seems like Misty's training with him has paid off." Lana says with everyone nodding as they continue to watch. Back on the battlefield Violet returns Gyarados back to its Pokeball and tells the mon thank you as she puts the ball away. Violet then looks over at Misty and speaks.

"Your Psyduck has certainly gotten stronger Misty, I never would've imagined him taking down my Gyarados." Violet says as Misty speaks.

"Thank you it took a lot of training, but Psyduck managed to grow strong" Misty says with Violet nodding as she pulls out her next Pokeball and speaks.

"Time for my next Pokémon. Go! Tentacruel!" Violet says as she throws the ball forward and sends out a Tentacruel. When the mon appears, it looks at Psyduck with Psyduck looking at it. Back in the stands Tracey speaks.

"Tentacruel's her next Pokémon and seeing as it's part Poison type Psyduck Psychic attacks should be super effective against it." Tracey says as Kukui speaks.

"True but Violet most likely knows that and probably has a way to counter those attacks" Kukui says with Tracey nodding while Lana, Lillie, Daisy, Lily, Pikachu, and Togepi begin to cheer on Misty. Back on the battlefield Misty looks at Tentacruel and begins to think.

"Tentacruel's her next Pokémon I'll need to be careful with this one." Misty says to herself as she looks at Psyduck and speaks.

"Psyduck I'm keeping you in!" Misty says with the duck nodding as he along with Tentacruel get into battle stances. A couple seconds later the ref calls for the battle to continue as Misty speaks.

"Psyduck use Psyshock!" Misty calls Psyduck summons multiple psychic orbs around himself and fires them at Tentacruel as Violet speaks.

"Tentacruel use Knock Off!" Violet calls Tentacruel covers its tentacles in dark energy and begins to easily knock the Psychic orbs away as Misty speaks.

"Now Psyduck use Hydro Pump!" Misty calls Psyduck fires out a large stream of water that goes to hit Tentacruel as Violet speaks.

"Dodge Tentacruel then use Gunk Shot!" Violet calls Tentacruel gets rid of one final Psyshock, sees the Hydro Pump coming and moves to the right dodging the attack. Tentacruel then creates a purple trash can and throws it towards Psyduck. But instead of the move hitting Psyduck it lands next to the land platform that Psyduck's on creating an explosion as Psyduck is sent flying into the water. A couple seconds later Psyduck appears above the surface of the water and begins to thrash about surprising Misty as Violet speaks.

"Looks like he still has trouble in water" Violet says while having a smile on her face. Back in the trainer hall Barry speaks.

"Wait why's her Psyduck freaking out can it not swim?" Barry asks as Leaf speaks.

"Well, Psyduck can swim its just that he's not that good of a swimmer compared to Misty's other Pokémon and suddenly being launched into the water it seems to have freaked him out." Leaf says with Barry along with Nemona nodding. Back on the battlefield Psyduck continues to thrash in the water as Misty speaks.

"Psyduck calm down!" Misty calls as Violet speaks.

"Oh no you don't Tentacruel quick use Gunk Shot!" Violet calls Tentacruel summons a purple trash can and throws it at Psyduck as Misty speaks.

"Psyduck quick use Psychic to send it back" Misty calls as just when Psyduck's finally calmed down he sees the Gunk Shot coming and doesn't have time to use Psychic as the move hits him creating an explosion as Misty speaks.

"Psyduck!" Misty calls in worry as when the smoke clears everyone can see Psyduck floating on his back on the surface of the water as the ref speaks.

"Psyduck's unable to battle Tentacruel's the winner!" The ref says allowing for Violet and Tentacruel to cheer in victory. On the other side of the battlefield Misty's sad that Psyduck lost but then smiles as she returns the mon back to his Pokeball. Misty then looks at the ball and speaks.

"Thank you Psyduck you did great and take a good rest" Misty says as she then puts the ball away Violet speaks.

"So, Misty who's next?" Violet asks as Misty looks at her and speaks.

"I was going to save this one for later, but it looks like I'll need to use him now" Misty says as she pulls out her next Pokeball and speaks.

"Slowking come out!" Misty says as she throws the ball forward and sends out Slowking who lands on a land platform. Once Slowking appears he has a smile on his face. Back in the stands the group (other than Tracey, Pikachu, and Togepi) have surprised looks on their faces as Daisy speaks.

"Misty's Slowpoke evolved? When did that happen?" Daisy questions as Tracey speaks.

"You see earlier today before we came here Misty and Leaf decided to do some fishing. Leaf got a Shellder while Misty got a Kings Rock and used it to evolve her Slowpoke into a Slowking." Tracey says with the group nodding as Lily speaks.

"So, that explains why you guys were late" Lily says with Tracey nodding as Lana speaks.

"Anyway, I'm excited to see Misty's Slowking in action" Lana says with the others nodding as they continue to watch. Back on the battlefield Misty explained to Violet when Slowking evolved, Violet smiles and speaks.

"Well Misty you certainly did come prepared for this battle" Violet says as Misty speaks.

"Yeah, and even though it was a coincidence I'm happy I found that Kings Rock and now Slowking's going to take down your Tentacruel!" Misty states with Slowking agreeing with her as Violet smiles and speaks.

"Okay I'm interested. Tentacruel I'm still keeping you in." Violet says with Tentacruel nodding as it along with Slowking get into battle stances. The ref calls for the battle to continue as Violet speaks.

"Tentacruel use Knock Off!" Violet calls Tentacruel nods as it jumps forward reaching Slowking instantly. Tentacruel covers its tentacles in dark energy and goes to hit Slowking as Misty speaks.

"Use Protect!" Misty calls Slowking summons a protective barrier and blocks Tentacruel's attack knocking its tentacles away. Tentacruel then looks forward and sees Slowking building up Psychic energy as Misty speaks.

"Now Slowking use Psychic!" "Tentacruel quick dodge!" Both trainers' call. Tentacruel's unable to dodge in time as Slowking fires out the psychic waves that connect with Tentacruel and hold the mon in place. While in the psychic hold Tentacruel's groaning in pain as Misty speaks.

"Now send Tentacruel flying!" Misty calls before Violet can call out a command Slowking's eyes glow as he sends Tentacruel flying causing the mon to crash into a land platform a few feet away Violet speaks.

"Tentacruel!" Violet calls in worry as when the smoke clears everyone can see Tentacruel laying on its back knocked out as the ref speaks.

"Tentacruel's unable to battle Slowking's the winner!" The ref says as Misty speaks.

"Great job Slowking!" Misty says happily as Slowking smiles. Back in the trainer hall Nemona speaks.

"It knocked Tentacruel out with just one Psychic. So! Cool!" Nemona says while having stars in her eyes while Barry's surprised as Leaf speaks.

"Wow looks like Slowking got a big power boost after evolving" Leaf says with Ash nodding as they continue to watch the screen. Back on the battlefield Violet still surprised that Tentacruel lost in one hit but then returns the mon back to its Pokeball. Violet then looks forward and speaks.

"I must say Misty I certainly wasn't expecting your Slowking to take down my Tentacruel in one hit." Violet says as Misty speaks.

"I'll be honest I wasn't expecting that either but I'm happy that it happened as now we just have one more Pokémon left standing in the way of our victory." Misty says with Slowking nodding as Violet smiles and speaks.

"I like your confidence Misty but now that I'm down to my last Pokémon I'm not going to lose" Violet says while having a serious look on her face and holding her last Pokeball in her hand. Misty looks at Violet as the girl then speaks.

"Slowbro it's show time!" Violet says as she throws the ball forward and sends in her Slowbro. When the mon appears, it has a smile on its face as Misty speaks.

"Her ace is finally here" Misty says to herself as back in the stands Tracey speaks.

"So, Violet's final Pokémon is a Slowbro" Tracey says as Kukui speaks.

"This should be an interesting battle you rarely see battles between Slowbro and Slowking" Kukui says as Daisy speaks.

"Now that Slowbro's here she can finally use that" Daisy says with Lily nodding making the others curious as Lana speaks.

"What do you mean by "Use that"?" Lana asks as Lily speaks.

"You'll just have to wait and see" Lily says making Lana along with the others confused as they turn their heads back to the battle. Back on the battlefield Misty looks at Slowking and speaks.

"Slowking even though you're a lot stronger now that you evolved Violet's Slowbro is strong too so be careful" Misty says with Slowking nodding as Violet speaks.

"Seems like you're really worried about my Slowbro" Violet says as Misty speaks.

"Of course, I am I've watched you use Slowbro in many battles before and I know how strong he is. But this also means I know how to beat him" Misty says while having a confident look on her face as Violet speaks.

"Yes, that is true over the years you have watched Slowbro battle so it would make since that you've thought of multiple ways to defeat him, but I should tell you this Misty you haven't seen everything the Slowbro is capable of." Violet says making Misty confused as she speaks.

"What do you mean by that?" Misty asks as Violet speaks.

"Here let me show you" Violet says as she uses her right hand to pull back a piece of her hair showcasing her red beads. She then looks at Misty and speaks.

"Do you notice anything different Misty?" Violet asks making Misty confused as she looks at the beads and speaks.

"Is there something different?" Misty asks as Violet speaks.

"Take a closer look" Violet says with Misty nodding as she continues to look. As Misty continues to look at the beads they mostly look the same, but she then sees one bead that looks different from the others as Misty speaks.

"That bead it looks different from the others it almost looks like…." Misty says as she continues to think she then realizes what it is and speaks.

"Is that a key stone?!" Misty asks as Violet smiles and speaks.

"Bingo and now it's time for the main event" Violet says as she touches the key stone with her right finger and the moment, she does the mega stone that was hidden on Slowbro's shell begins to glow too as Violet speaks.

"Slowbro shine bright and become a wall that blocks everything!" Violet says as the beams of light of both stones connect with each other Violet continues to speak

"Now Slowbro Mega Evolve!" Violet says as Slowbro roars and begins to change. Everyone looks on in awe and see Slowbro changing in the light. Then a few seconds later the light disappears as what was once a regular Slowbro is now a Mega Slowbro as Jake speaks.

"I don't believe my eyes folks contestant Violet has Mega evolved her Slowbro!" Jake says as everyone looks on in surprise. Back in the trainer hall Leaf speaks.

"Slowbro has a Mega evolution?" Leaf asks as Barry speaks.

"Looks like it" Barry says as Nemona speaks.

"Amazing!" Nemona says with stars in her eyes as Ash speaks.

"Its mega evolved form is different from the ones I've seen before as its shell has mostly engulfed its body." Ash says with the other 3 nodding. Back on the battlefield Misty has a surprised look on her face as Violet speaks.

"That look on your face tells me that you weren't expecting this now, were you?" Violet asks, with Misty nodding as she speaks.

"I never knew that you could mega evolve Slowbro have you always been able to do this?" Misty asks as Violet speaks.

"Nope I just learned how to do this recently. You see a couple of weeks before Daisy, Lily, and I came here. When me and Slowbro were training in Cerulean cave after accidentally destroying a wall Slowbro and I found not only a keystone but also a Slowbronite. Then after that we began to train with Daisy and Lily helping us." Violet responds with Misty nodding as back in the stands Lana looks at Daisy and Lily and speaks.

"So, this is what you meant" Lana says with both girls nodding. Back on the battlefield Misty looks at Violet and speaks.

"Wow you were really serious about not holding anything back now huh?" Misty asks with Violet nodding as Misty smiles and speaks.

"Well, I certainly wasn't expecting this, but I don't mind as once we've taken down Slowbro it'll showcase just how far we've come!" Misty states with Slowking agreeing with her as Violet speaks.

"Then come at us!" Violet says with Slowbro nodding as it along with Slowking get ready. The ref then calls for the battle to continue as Misty speaks.

"Slowking let's attack first use Psychic!" Misty calls Slowking fires the waves of psychic energy as Violet speaks.

"Counter with your Psychic!" Violet calls with Slowbro nodding as it fires its own psychic that collides with Slowking's. The 2 attacks go back and forth for a little bit until Slowbro's psychic overpowers Slowking's and heads for the mon as Misty speaks.

"Slowking use Protect!" Misty calls Slowking quickly summons a protective barrier and blocks the attack. As Slowking's blocking the attack he notices the barrier cracking a little bit until there's an explosion that sends Slowking sliding back a few feet away as Misty speaks.

"Slowking are you okay?!" Misty asks with Slowking nodding as Violet speaks.

"Use Psychic again Slowbro!" Violet calls Slowbro fires the waves of psychic energy and manages to grab Slowking as Misty speaks.

"Slowking break out of there!" Misty calls Slowking tries but can't as he looks forward Violet speaks.

"Now Slowbro use Nasty Plot then Shadow Ball!" Violet calls Slowbro sharply raises its special attack power then creates a giant ball of ghostly energy and fires it at Slowking as Misty speaks.

"Slowking look out!" Misty calls but Slowking can't do anything as a couple seconds later the ball hits Slowking consuming the mon. Inside the Shadow Ball Slowking cries out in pain from the super effective attack as then there's an explosion Misty calls out to the mon.

"Slowking!" Misty calls out in worry as out of the cloud of smoke appears Slowking. The mon falls on the land platform landing on his back. Slowking groans in pain and tries to stand back up but he ultimately lays on the platform knocked out as the ref speaks.

"Slowking's unable to battle Slowbro's the winner!" The ref says. Misty has a surprised look on her face as up in the stands Tracey speaks.

"Slowbro defeated Slowking that fast" Tracey says as Kukui speaks.

"Mega evolution does help increase a Pokémon's stats and since Violet had Slowbro use Nasty Plot it increased its special attack even more allowing for Slowbro to take down Slowking with Shadow Ball." Kukui says with Tracey and the others nodding. Back in the trainer hall Ash, Leaf, Nemona, and Barry are surprised by Slowbro's strength as well and are still rooting for Misty. Back on the battlefield Misty returns Slowking back to his Pokeball and when she does, she looks at the ball and speaks.

"Sorry I couldn't show you off more Slowking take a good rest." Misty says as she then puts the ball away Violet speaks.

"Well Misty we both have one Pokémon left" Violet says as Misty looks at her and speaks.

"Yes, we do and I'm confident that my last one will take down Slowbro!" Misty says while having a serious look on her face while holding her last Pokeball in her hand. Misty then goes to throw it and speaks.

"Go! Golisopod!" Misty says as she throws the ball forward and sends out Golisopod who lands on a land Platform. When Golisopod appears, he lets out a mighty roar showcasing his power. Once Golisopod's done roaring he looks over at Slowbro and can feel a lot of power from the mon. Back in the stands Lana speaks.

"Nice Golisopod's here" Lana says as Tracey speaks.

"Since Golisopod is part bug type his attacks should be super effective against Slowbro." Tracey says as Kukui speaks.

"True but she can't underestimate Slowbro now that it's mega evolved." Kukui says with the group nodding as they continue to watch the battle. Back on the battlefield Violet looks at Golisopod and speaks.

So, Golisopod's your final choice in terms of typing that was smart of you Misty but don't think that just because you've the type advantage that you're going to win." Violet says as Misty speaks.

"Yep, I know" Misty responds as she then looks at Golisopod and speaks.

"Golisopod you're the last one. Now that Slowbro's mega evolved he's a lot stronger than he would normally be but I'm counting on you to win this battle." Misty says with Golisopod nodding as he roars then gets in a battle stance with Slowbro doing the same as Jake speaks.

"This is it everyone the final battle who's going to win between Violet's Mega Slowbro and Misty's Golisopod?!" Jake says as everyone looks on curiously the ref speaks.

"This is the final battle both trainers have 1 Pokémon left whoever defeats their opponent's Pokémon first will be declared the winner! Now if both trainers are ready let the battle continue!" The ref says as Misty calls for a command.

"Golisopod use First Impression!" Misty calls as in a blink of an eye Golisopod disappears then reappears in front of Slowbro. Before Violet can call for a command Golisopod hits Slowbro with his right claws and sends the mon sliding a few feet away as Misty speaks.

"Nice we landed a hit!" Misty says happily as when she looks at Slowbro the mon looks unfazed as Misty begins to think.

"Did Golisopod's attack not land? No, I'm pretty sure that it did" Misty says to herself as Violet speaks.

"You're probably wondering why Golisopod's attack didn't do much right? Well, you see after mega evolving Slowbro's defense increases by a lot making it, so it seems like Slowbro took no damage at all. I should also let you know that Slowbro's ability when mega evolved is Shell Armor which means that critical hits won't work." Violet says with Misty nodding as back in the stands Lillie speaks.

"She's making it sound like Slowbro's some impenetrable wall that can't be hurt" Lillie says as Lily speaks.

"That's true but Slowbro can still take a lot of damage Misty just needs to figure it out." Lily says with the group nodding as they continue to watch the battle. Back on the battlefield Misty begins to think.

"Frist Impression is one of Golisopod's strongest attacks if that didn't do a lot to Slowbro then his other physical attacks won't work either. But wait if physical moves won't do anything then how about special moves?" Misty says to herself as Violet speaks.

"If you're not going to attack Misty then we will. Slowbro use Psychic!" Violet calls Slowbro fires out the waves of psychic energy at Golisopod as Misty speaks.

"Use Aqua Jet to dodge then use Pin Missile!" Misty calls Golisopod covers his body in water and manages to dodge the Psychic by shooting high into the air. Once Golisopod gets high enough he begins firing multiple pin like missiles at Slowbro as Violet speaks.

"Use Protect!" Violet calls Slowbro summons a protective barrier and blocks the attack. A couple seconds later Slowbro's barrier comes undone as it then sees Golisopod falling towards it as Misty speaks.

"Golisopod use Poison Jab!" "Dodge Slowbro then use Flamethrower!" Both trainers' call. Golisopod covers his right claws in poison and goes to hit Slowbro. But Slowbro quickly backs away causing Golisopod to jab the platform instead, Slowbro then heats up its mouth and fires out a big stream of fire that goes to hit Golisopod as Misty speaks.

"Golisopod use Liquidation!" Misty calls Golisopod summons 2 water blades and spins around easily getting rid of the Flamethrower as Violet speaks.

"Now Slowbro use Aerial Ace!" Violet calls Slowbro glows blue then shoots forward heading for Golisopod as Misty speaks.

"Golisopod block with your arms!" Misty calls Golisopod quickly brings up his arms as Slowbro collides with them. Once Slowbro does the mon tries to break through Golisopod's defense, but the bug samurai won't let it. As Golisopod continues to block he begins to feel that Slowbro's overpowering him and is about to knock his arms away as Misty speaks.

"Golisopod move to the right then use Scald!" Misty calls Golisopod quickly moves to the right which causes Slowbro to stumble forward a little bit. Golisopod then quickly fires out a hot stream of water that hits Slowbro doing damage to the mon as Misty speaks.

"Yes, seems like that worked" Misty says as Violet speaks.

"What worked?" Violet asks as Misty speaks.

"Well seeing as how physical attacks won't do much damage, I figured that special attacks should do more and it seems like I was right. Also, that's not all." Misty says as suddenly Slowbro is then consumed in flames making the mon groan in pain as Violet speaks.

"Not bad Misty not only did you figure it out you also got the burn status on Slowbro well done." Violet says making Misty happy as Violet speaks.

"But now that you figured it out, it means that I should end this battle fast. Slowbro use Psyshock!" Violet calls Slowbro summons multiple psychic orbs around itself and fires them at Golisopod as Misty speaks.

"Golisopod get rid of them with Liquidation!" Misty calls Golisopod creates two water swords and begins to easily slash the psychic orbs. As Golisopod's doing that Violet speaks.

"Aerial Ace Slowbro!" Violet calls Slowbro shoots forward and goes to hit Golisopod as Misty speaks.

"Dodge Golisopod then use Ice Beam!" Misty calls Golisopod gets rid of one more Psyshock then moves to the right avoiding Slowbro's attack. Slowbro looks at Golisopod and sees the mon going to fire the icy beam as Violet speaks.

"Use Flash!" Violet calls Slowbro glows brightly and blinds Golisopod making the mon stop as Violet speaks.

"Now use Aerial Ace!" Violet calls Slowbro shoots forward and rams its head hard into Golisopod's stomach making the mon cough in pain as he's then sent sliding back a few feet away. Golisopod groans in pain as Violet speaks.

"Slowbro use Shadow Ball!" Violet calls and when Slowbro goes to use the move it's then consumed in fire making the mon stop as Misty speaks.

"Here let me cool you off! Golisopod use Ice Beam!" Misty calls Golisopod fires the icy beam which hits Slowbro and does more damage to the mon as Violet speaks.

"Psychic Slowbro and hold Golisopod in place!" Violet calls Slowbro fires the waves of psychic energy, and they manage to connect with Golisopod as Misty speaks.

"Golisopod use Pin Missile to break out!" Misty calls Golisopod tries to use the move, but Slowbro tightens its hold on Golisopod making the mon groan more in pain and stop as Violet speaks.

"Now Slowbro use Shadow Ball!" Violet calls Slowbro creates another big Shadow Ball and throws it at Golisopod as Misty speaks.

"Golisopod look out!" Misty says. Golisopod tries to break free but can't as the Shadow Ball then hits Golisopod creating an explosion as Misty speaks.

"Golisopod!" Misty calls in worry as when the smoke clears everyone can see Golisopod standing while having scratches all over his body. Golisopod then gets down on one knee and begins to pant heavily as back in the stands Tracey speaks.

"Golisopod managed to survive the attack that took out Slowking." Tracey says as Kukui speaks.

"Luckly for Golisopod Shadow Ball isn't super effective against him like it was on Slowking but as we can see that Shadow Ball still did a lot of damage to Golisopod and if he gets hit by one more he'll faint." Kukui says with the group nodding as they continue to watch the battle. Back on the battlefield Misty looks at Golisopod and begins to think.

"That Shadow Ball wasn't super effective against Golisopod, but it did so much damage to him. If he gets hit by another one, he'll lose what can I do?" Misty says to herself as Violet speaks.

"Well Misty this battle has been fun, but it seems as though this is as far as Golisopod can go. So, now I'll end this with my next command." Violet says as she continues to speak.

"Slowbro use Nasty Plot then use Shadow Ball again!" Violet calls Slowbro suffers from burn damage but then sharply raises its special attack power and begins to create another large Shadow Ball as Misty speaks.

"Here it comes Golisopod I know you're tired, but you need to try and dodge!" Misty says with Golisopod nodding as he continues to pant Slowbro finishes forming the ghostly ball as Violet speaks.

"This is it, Misty. Slowbro fire!" Violet calls Slowbro nods as it fires the big ghostly ball at Golisopod Misty speaks.

"Here it comes Golisopod dodge!" Misty calls with Golisopod nodding he goes to dodge but is still tired. Golisopod looks forward and sees the Shadow Ball getting closer to him as Violet speaks.

"This is the end" Violet says as the Shadow Ball's getting closer and closer Misty speaks.

"COME ON GOLISOPOD DODGE!" Misty yells out as Golisopod gets a serious look on his face and manages to jump to the left successfully dodging the attack. Violet's a little surprised as Misty speaks.

"Way to go Golisopod!" Misty says happily as Golisopod then roars and when he does green waves of bug energy appear and hit Slowbro doing super effective damage to the mon as Violet speaks.

"Slowbro!" Violet calls in worry as Slowbro groans in pain and can feel its special defense decrease as Violet speaks.

"Was that Bug Buzz?" Violet asks as Misty looks at Golisopod and speaks.

"Golisopod did you just learn Bug Buzz?" Misty asks as Golisopod looks at Misty and nods. Misty has a smile on her face as back in the stands Kukui speaks.

"Seeing as Scald along with Ice Beam weren't doing too much damage to Slowbro wanting to use a move that's stronger/effective on Slowbro Golisopod learned Bug Buzz which is not only super effective against Slowbro but will also decrease its special defense as well." Kukui says with the group nodding as Tracey speaks.

"So, that means with this Misty's chances of winning have just gone up" Tracey says with the group nodding as Lana speaks.

"GO! MISTY AND GOLISOPOD!" Lana along with Lillie, Daisy, Lily, Pikachu, and Togepi cheer. Back on the battlefield Slowbro continues to groan in pain as Misty speaks.

"Golisopod let's not waste this chance! Use Bug Buzz again!" Misty calls Golisopod roars and fires out green waves of bug energy towards Slowbro as Violet speaks.

"You think we're going to let you land that attack!? Slowbro burn it away with Flamethrower!" Violet calls Slowbro covers its mouth in fire and fires out a big stream of fire that easily burns through the Bug Buzz and heads for Golisopod as Misty speaks.

"Use Liquidation!" Misty calls Golisopod summons a water sword from his right hand and swings it easily getting rid of the fire as Violet speaks.

"Use Aerial Ace!" Violet calls Slowbro shoots forward going to hit Golisopod as Misty speaks.

"Block Golisopod!" Misty calls Golisopod quickly brings up his arms and blocks Slowbro's attack as he's then pushed back a few feet away Misty speaks.

"Use Bug Buzz again!" "Burn it with Flamethrower!" Both trainers' call. Golisopod roars and fires out the waves of green bug energy. Slowbro's about to use Flamethrower but then stops as it's then consumed in flames making Violet grit her teeth as the Bug Buzz then connects. Slowbro cries out in pain from the super effective attack and can feel its special defense decrease even more as Violet speaks.

"Slowbro use Nasty Plot then Shadow Ball!" Violet calls Slowbro roars as it sharply increases its special attack power again creates another large Shadow Ball and throws it at Golisopod as Misty speaks.

"Golisopod use Swords Dance then Liquidation!" Misty calls Golisopod roars as he sharply increases his attack power, creates two large water swords and manages to easily cut the Shadow Ball in half. Violet along with Slowbro are both surprised that Golisopod managed to easily get rid of the Shadow Ball as Misty speaks.

"Let's keep going Golisopod use Aqua Jet!" Misty calls Golisopod, covers his body in water and shoots forward heading for Slowbro as Violet speaks.

"Stop Golisopod with Psychic Slowbro!" Violet calls Slowbro fires out a big wave of psychic energy that goes to hit Golisopod as Misty speaks.

"Golisopod use Pin Missile!" Misty calls Golisopod, nods and fires out multiple pin like missiles that easily go through the Psychic destroying it and go to hit Slowbro as Violet speaks.

"Use Protect Slowbro!" Violet calls Slowbro quickly summons a protective barrier and blocks the attack as they create multiple explosions. Then when the barrier goes away Slowbro looks forward and sees Golisopod still heading for it as Violet speaks.

"Slowbro quick use Shadow Ball!" "Golisopod use Bug Buzz and Liquidation!" Both trainers' call. Slowbro's about to create the ghostly ball but then stops as it then becomes consumed in flames making the mon groan in pain. Golisopod creates two water blades and also puts the Bug Buzz in them turning the 2 blades green. Golisopod continues heading for Slowbro as Misty speaks.

"DO IT GOLISOPOD!" "GOLI!" Misty along with Golisopod yell as Golisopod then slashes Slowbro with both of his blades and lands behind the mon. Golisopod's swords disappear then gets on one knee and begins panting heavily. Meanwhile Slowbro groans in pain as a few seconds later the mon falls on its stomach, reverts back to its normal form and is knocked out. Everyone has surprised looks on their faces as the ref speaks.

"Slowbro's unable to battle Golisopod's the winner! Seeing as contestant Violet has no more Pokémon left contestant Misty is the winner and will move onto the next round!" The ref says as Jake speaks.

"After an intense battle Misty along with her Golisopod have won let's give them a big round of applause everyone!" Jake says as suddenly the crowd lets out a loud cheer for Misty and Golisopod. Back on the battlefield Misty has a surprised look on her face as she looks at Golisopod and speaks.

"Did we beat Violet?" Misty asks as Golisopod looks at Misty and smiles. Misty smiles too and speaks.

"WE BEAT VIOLET!" Misty lets out a loud cheer while Golisopod roars in victory causing the crowd to cheer even louder for them. Back in the stands the group cheer too as Lana speaks.

"SHE DID IT!" Lana says happily as she along with Kiawe, Lillie, Burnet, Pikachu, and Togepi cheer as Tracey speaks.

"It was a hard-fought battle, but Misty did it" Tracey says as Kukui speaks.

"And she managed to defeat a mega evolved Pokémon" Kukui says with Tracey nodding as they begin to cheer too. Meanwhile with Daisy and Lily they've surprised looks on their faces but then smile as Daisy speaks.

"She really managed to beat Violet" Daisy says with Lily nodding as they begin to cheer as well. Back in the trainer hall Ash, Leaf, Nemona, and Barry cheer too as Leaf speaks.

"MISTY WON!" Leaf cheers happily as Nemona speaks.

"That battle was amazing!" Nemona says with stars in her eyes as Barry speaks.

"I can't believe she managed to defeat a mega evolved Pokémon" Barry says while Ash stays silent, he continues to look at the screen sees Misty celebrate with Golisopod and smiles before beginning to cheer as well. We now come over to where Lorelai, Rika, Larry, and Hassel are. They're also surprised as Larry speaks.

"I knew she'd put up a fight, but I wasn't expecting her Golisopod to defeat a Mega Slowbro" Larry says with the others agreeing with him as Hassel speaks.

"Brillant BATTLE!" Hassel says as he begins to cry tears of joy Rika speaks.

"That kid's really good don't you think so Lorelai?" Rika asks while looking at the woman who has a smile on her face. Back on the battlefield Violet's surprised by the outcome of the battle but then smiles and returns Slowbro back to its Pokeball. Violet tells Slowbro thank you then looks forward and sees Misty happily celebrating with Golisopod. Misty wraps Golisopod in a big hug and speaks.

"Amazing Golisopod I knew that you could do it!" Misty says happily making the bug samurai smile as he then hugs her back. As they continue to hug, they then hear a voice.

"Misty" The voice says causing Misty along with Golisopod to let go and when they do they see Violet. They look at Violet who takes a couple steps forward and when she gets close enough, she looks at the 2 of them and speaks.

"Congratulations on winning Misty and Golisopod you beat me fair and square" Violet says as Misty speaks.

"Thank you, Violet," Misty says with Golisopod saying the same thing as Violet looks at Misty and speaks.

"Misty you've grown a lot stronger since the day you left on your journey and as your sister you've made me proud" Violet says making Misty smile as Violet continues to speak.

"But now that you've defeated me, I'm going to be training a lot more now so that next time neither my Pokémon nor I will lose" Violet says while having a determined look on her face which makes Misty and Golisopod smile. After that the 2 girls hug each other with the crowd clapping for them, as the crowd continues to do that Misty tries to get out of Violet's hug, but the girl won't let go causing the crowd and even Golisopod to laugh. After that Golisopod manages to separate Misty and Violet. Misty returns Golisopod back to his Pokeball as both girls then begin walking back to the trainer hall. When they make it Ash, Leaf, Nemona, and Barry tell them that their battle was amazing and congratulate Misty making both girls smile. Nemona then asks Violet for a quick battle but Violet declines saying that she's done battling for now and is going to take a break. This makes Nemona sad, but Violet does tell Nemona that if she stops by the Cerulean City gym in Kanto, she'll battle her then and that makes Nemona excited. After that 20 minutes pass and we see Ash, Leaf, Nemona, and Misty looking at a stage that has Lorelai, Rika, Larry, Hassel, and Jake on it. The 4 trainers continue to look at them as Jake hands Lorelai a microphone and she begins to speak.

"I want to give my congratulations to you 4 trainers who've fought bravely in this tournament and have made it all the way to the top 4" Lorelai says making the 4 trainers smile as Lorelai then hands the mic over to Jake who begins to speak.

"Like Lorelai said congratulations on making it to the top 4 and now I'll explain the rules for tomorrow. Tomorrow you along with the trainer you're paired up with will battle each other in order to reach the final. The top 4 battles along with the final battle will take place on the battlefield in stadium 1 and will consist of 6v6 full battles. These battles along with the final battle will be televised so that your friends and family can watch." Jake says with the 4 trainers nodding as Jake continues to speak.

"Now please take a look at the screen to see who you'll be battling tomorrow!" Jake says as a screen appears that has the 4 trainers' images on it. Jake then presses a button, and the images begin to randomize. The images continue to randomize until a few seconds later the images stop as Jake speaks.

"Take a look and see who you'll be battling tomorrow" Jake says as the 4 trainers look at the screen and see the results. The image on the screen showcases that Ash will battle Nemona and they'll be the first battle of the day while Misty will battle Leaf. The 4 trainers have surprised looks on their faces as Nemona looks at Ash and speaks.

"It's finally time Ash we get to battle each other again!" Nemona says happily as Ash smiles and speaks.

"Yep, and I'm going to give it everything I got!" Ash says making Nemona excited. Meanwhile with Misty and Leaf they still have surprised looks on their faces then look at each other as Leaf speaks.

"Well Misty looks like we get to battle each other again as well" Leaf says as Misty speaks.

"Yeah, the last time we had a serious battle with each other was back on the SS. Anne and that ended in a tie" Misty says with Leaf nodding as Leaf speaks.

"You're right back then our battle did end in a tie but this time it won't as I'll be the one who wins" Leaf says while having a determined look on her face as Misty looks at her smiles and speaks.

"Sorry Leaf but the one who's going to win our battle tomorrow and make it to the finals will be me" Misty says while also having a determined look on her face. The 2 girls continued to stare at each other then smile. After that the 4 trainers then leave and meet up with everyone else. Tracey hands Pikachu and Togepi back to Ash and Misty. When he does everyone says goodbye to each other and go their separate ways looking forward to tomorrow. 10 minutes later the group have made it back to the Pokémon Center and before they rest Ash along with Leaf call Prof. Oak/Daisy while Misty calls the Cerulean Gym and speaks to one of the gym trainers to switch out their Pokémon. When they do the 3 kids head outside the center and go to different spots and begin to train their Pokémon for their upcoming battles tomorrow as the chapter comes to an end.

Thank you for reading if you've made it this far. Whew long chapter today but as you can see, I wanted to give a lot of focus to Misty's and Violet's battle while covering the other battles that happened in this chapter. Speaking of Misty vs Violet, what were your thoughts on the battle and were you surprised that Violet mega evolved her Slowbro? Originally, I wasn't going to have Violet mega evolve her Slowbro and just have it be a Slowbro vs Slowking battle. But the more I thought about it I felt as though that would've been boring, so I had Violet mega evolve her Slowbro instead to give Misty more of a challenge and make the battle more intense.

Next chapter will come out next week it'll mainly focus on Ash's battle with Nemona while the chapter after will focus on Misty's battle with Leaf. The tournament is reaching its conclusion soon and I hope you all look forward to it.
