AN: Hello, my readers! Here I bring you another 'Bleach' story, but this story will be different from the previous ones and not only because it will have a crossover with 'Fairy Tail', but because the list of characters will be totally changed.
What do I mean by that?
Well, just remember those who were on the side of 'Bleach', because in this chapter, I will prove it.
'Bleach' is set after the fullbringer arc.
'Fairy Tail' is set after the Tartaros arc, but without the separation and guild closure.
I don't own anything except the OCs.
The Soul Society.
A place that could be considered the afterlife, as it is where people go after their death.
You would think that the other side of life would be a beautiful paradise, but no.
The Soul Society is almost like a modern city, although that depends on the region in which that person lived when they died.
In the Soul Society that our story focuses on is divided into two sectors.
The Rukongai, which is where all the spirits of people who have passed away live and can live quietly until they die again.
When that happens, there is an effect where that spirit reincarnates back into the human world.
Anyway, due to the gigantic number of people who die every day, the Rukongai is divided into 48 sectors.
In fact, even though it is the afterlife, not all the people there are people who died in the human world, because in that place, the spirits were as real as those who were alive at the time, so they can even have children.
Also, the effect of time isn't like that of the human world, as 1000 years can pass, and one could still look young or something like that.
Which brings us to the other side of the Soul Society.
The Seireitei, which is where the more special spirits dwell, such as those of high birth as clans or nobles, but there were also the shinigamis.
The shinigamis are those spirits of both the Rukongai and the Seireitei who have the right skills to be part of the organization, an organization whose main duty is to maintain the balance of the human world.
There are times when the spirits fail to travel to the other side, so it is the duty of the shinigami to find them and guide the way.
However, there are also times when some of those spirits who let themselves be consumed by negative feelings as well as the passage of time, which turn them into hollows, evil creatures that feed on souls, both of the living and the dead.
That was another duty of the shinigami.
To purify the hollows so that they could rest in peace until they were born again as humans.
Unfortunately, there were more hollows than one could imagine, they even have their own world, known as Hueco Mundo, but that is another story for another time.
The shinigami organization was divided into three sectors.
The kido division, which consists of spiritual energy manipulation or reiryoku; the special forces; and, most important of all, the 13 divisions.
The 13 divisions are usually in charge of the main threats, be it hollows or other things.
At that moment, an extremely important meeting was being held, since all the captains of the 13 divisions were there.
In a huge room, there were two rows of people that left a central gap so that those who were there could see a person sitting on a throne.
The one on the throne was an old man with a long white beard and a cane.
It was Genryusai Yamamoto, captain of the 1st division and captain-commander of the 13 divisions.
In front of him stood a peculiar group of shinigami.
They were a bald boy named Ikkaku Madarame, the third of the 11th division; an orange-haired girl with large breasts named Rangiku Matsumoto, vice-captain of the 10th division; a red-haired boy with a band on his forehead named Renji Abarai, vice-captain of the 6th division; and a short girl named Rukia Kuchiki, vice-captain of the 13th division.
But the most peculiar of them was none other than an orange-haired boy named Ichigo Kurosaki, the substitute shinigami, who used to live as a normal human until the circumstances of fate brought him to where he is now.
(I mean about being shinigami, not about the meeting in general).
"Well, old man, are you going to tell us why you gathered us here?" asked Ichigo.
In the next instant, Rukia kicked him in the shin that made him scream in pain.
"Show more respect to the captain-commander, you idiot!" said Rukia with a scowl.
Genryusai cleared his throat slightly, causing the two to stop and quickly position themselves.
"The reason I have gathered you all here is because strange things have been happening in the Precipice World." said Genryusai.
"What do you mean by strange things?" asked Renji with an arched eyebrow.
"Captain Kurotsuchi, please explain what you have discovered." said Genryusai.
"According to our surveillance scans, it seems that several hollows have appeared at that location." said a sinister looking man with strange blue horns surrounding his head.
It was Mayuri Kurotsuchi, captain of the 12th division.
"Does that mean they are planning an invasion of the Soul Society?" asked a short-haired woman with two long braids.
This was Soi-Fon, captain of the 2nd division.
"I thought that, after the war against Aizen, we had come to good terms with the new queen of Hueco Mundo." said a man with long white hair.
This was Jushiro Ukitake, captain of the 13th division.
"Just because she is the new queen doesn't mean she will win over all the hollows of Hueco Mundo." said a man wearing a pink kimono over a shinigami uniform and a cone hat.
This was Shunsui Kyoraku, captain of the 8th division.
"True, but we can't rule out that she changed her mind about not attacking us." said a man with short blond hair.
This was Shinji Hirako, a vizard and current captain of the 5th division.
"I say come on over. It will be fun to watch them try to beat us after what we went through in Hueco Mundo." said a man with a right eye patch, a spiky hairstyle with bells at the end, a scar on his face and a crazy grin.
This was Kenpachi Zaraki, captain of the 11th Division.
"That's the spirit, captain! We won't let a bunch of hollows bully us!" said Ikkaku in support of his captain.
"I suggest listening to the rest of the information before we even rush into battle like hotheads!" said a man with a serious expression wearing a hair accessory.
This was Byakuya Kuchiki, Rukia's older brother and captain of the 6th division.
"Do you have something to say, Kuchiki? Because I'm willing to listen to you attentively." said Kenpachi with a maniacal grin as he brought his hand towards his sword.
"Enough." began Genryusai tapping his staff against the ground, causing everyone to fall silent. "Continue, Captain Kurotsuchi."
"Thank you, captain commander. That attack thing was the first thing we thought of when we found out, so we tried to analyze as much as possible about their intentions. In the end, it turns out that they weren't planning any attack towards us." said Mayuri.
"Then what are they doing in that place?" asked a humanoid dog.
It was Sajin Komamura, captain of the 7th division.
"They seem to be creating a hole along the inner walls." said Mayuri.
"Holes? What would they want to do something like that for?" asked a short-haired muscular man.
This was Kensei Muguruma, vizard and current captain of the 9th division.
"As everyone should know, the Precipice World is a dimension that connects the Soul Society with the human world. However, it seems that it can also come to connect to other different places. That is, other worlds." said Mayuri.
"Are you sure about that?" asked a man with curly blond hair.
This was Rose, a vizard and current captain of the 3rd division.
"I personally checked that data. Of course I'm sure." said Mayuri offended by the comment.
"Are you saying they are planning to escape to another world?" asked Rangiku.
"Escape… Conquer… Start from scratch… I have no idea. What I do know is that they have managed to open a hole that has taken them to a place that not even we could reach with a senkaimon or they with a garganta." said Mayuri.
"That will be your mission. You will go to the hole they created, travel to that other world and eliminate them all." said Genryusai.
"Just one question. If we have to go through a hole to travel to another world, how will we get back afterwards?" asked Ichigo.
"Honestly, that's not my problem. The hole will probably remain where it appeared in the other world." said Mayuri with a shrug.
"In that case, I offer to accompany you, Captain Commander." said a white-haired boy.
This was Toshiro Hitsugaya, captain of the 10th division.
"Oh, captain, that's not necessary. We can handle the mission." said Rangiku.
"With you on the team, I doubt it very much." said Toshiro.
"Huh?! Jo, captain. You're cruel." said Rangiku with a pout as she crossed her arms under her chest.
"If you don't mind, I'd like to join the mission as well." said a woman with long black hair tied into a braid hanging under her chin.
This was Retsu Unohana, captain of the 4th division.
"May I know the reason, Captain Unohana?" asked Genryusai.
"They are going to explore a territory none of us are familiar with. I don't doubt their strength, but surely there will be something there that could hurt them in any way and my healing skills could be very useful in that field." said Retsu.
Genryusai was silent, analyzing the captain's proposition.
"Both proposals are accepted. Captain Hitsugaya and Unohana, you may join the team. Go now and accomplish your mission." said Genryusai.
"Yes." said everyone on the team.
"Ah, one more thing." began Mayuri drawing the attention of the team members. "Since you're going to another world, be sure to bring me some specimen so I can analyze it. Dead or alive, I don't care." said Mayuri with a totally sinister expression.
" I doubt that very much." thought the team members except the captains.
Shortly after everyone prepared for the mission, the team found themselves at the gates of the senkaimon, whose doors opened, allowing them to enter the world between worlds, the Precipice World.
It was an immense subway corridor with gelatinous textured walls and a floor on which there were hundreds of bones.
Normally there is usually a kototsu, a cleaner that is responsible for removing any intruders or pests found in the place.
Unfortunately, it was destroyed by a powerful enemy in the past, so it would be a long time before it would fully recover.
Therefore, the team had the safe way to be able to investigate without any problems.
"Hey, Toshiro…" began Ichigo.
"For you it's Captain Hitsugaya!" said Toshiro with an anime streak running through his head.
"Whatever. How do you think the hollows got in here?" asked Ichigo.
"Frankly, I ask myself the same question. The kouryu, the constant current of the walls of the Precipice World is supposed to prevent the hollows from accessing this place." said Toshiro.
"True. In fact, it should have even been captured or eliminated before they created that access hole to the other world." said Rukia.
"A normal hollow wouldn't be capable of something like that." said Ikkaku.
"True. Surely it must have been the work of some intelligent hollow…" began Renji.
"Or an arrancar with a high reiryoku." finished Ichigo, remembering that, when he and his father passed by, his father used a technique in which he employed his high level of reiryoku to stop that current.
"Wouldn't Captain Kurotsuchi's scanners have detected it?" asked Rangiku.
"He probably hid his reiatsu excellently to avoid detection or to be compared to a normal hollow." said Toshiro.
"Which means this mission may be more complicated than we could have predicted. We'll have to be careful when we reach our target." said Retsu.
"How long until we reach that hole the hollows opened?" asked Rukia.
"According to the data provided by Captain Kurotsuchi, it should be… right here." said Toshiro as they all stopped at a part of the corridor, only to see a wall.
"Huh? There's nothing here. Captain, are you sure this is the right place?" asked Rangiku.
"It should be." said Toshiro.
"They may have plugged the hole when the last of them crossed it to prevent us from detecting it in plain sight." said Renji.
"If it's plugged, then, we just have to uncover it." said Ikkaku approaching the wall.
"Ikkaku, wait!" exclaimed Ichigo trying to stop him, but…
It was already too late, as Ikkaku hit the wall hard.
At first, nothing happened, but then, a small crack formed in the wall and quickly, the crack spread to be very large as a bright light shone through the crack.
"Everyone takes cover!" shouted Toshiro as the light from the crack began to shine more brightly.
Everyone covered their faces with their arms as the light from the rift covered the entire area completely, engulfing the shinigami team.

This time, the main characters will be Ichigo with his shinigami friends.
What will happen to this peculiar group when they encounter a certain peculiar mage guild?
