Evening had come and it was finally time to take a bath. She was embarrassed at her excitement. It was always a comfort for her and she felt filthy. She crawled into the tub and started the water, there was no shower head or anyway to spray herself off so she leaned low with her head underneath the faucet. Her antlers kept catching on it frustratingly. She scrubbed her hair furiously and tried to shift under its flow. She hadn't even washed Victor off yet. She turned and let it run down her back as she tried her best to back under it. The water running off her was disgusting, colors she had never thought possible. She started to turn around to wash off her front but she felt a clamp on her throat. Gold blinding light and a strong pull.

"RREANGH," wretched out of her as she disappeared from the hotel, spinning in darkness. She hit the ground and couldn't see anything, her hands collecting pebbles as she felt around on the ground. She rose to all fours, her canines growing quickly.

"Hey, its me," Adam's voice rang chipper. "Miss me," she could hear him strutting towards her but she couldn't see him. The building was nearly pitch black.

"You cant…be here? Only once a year," she started to shiver as she tried to grab her bearings. He moved closer to her and finally appeared in the dim light. "Where are we?"

"I can only kill demons once a year, no rules about visiting them. I can't see you." He gave her chain a gentle tug. He followed it closer to her and ran his hand down the last of it to her neck, his hand running down her wet fur to her chest. "Are you naked," he asked. excitedly.

"I was taking a fucking bath." She shivered harder, her legs and butt now covered in gravel that was stuck in her wet coat. He ran his hands down her arms slowly as their eyes started to adjust. "You lied to me," she jerked and moved away from him, but he grabbed her shoulder firmly. "I was babbling about redemption to you and low and behold that was a real thing and you're the one who put a wrench in it."

"I hadn't met you yet."

"What the fuck is so special about me?"

"You talked to me."

"Yeah you said that, do people not talk to you like, that makes no sense."

"Like really talk to me, you didn't know who I was. Everyone knows who I fucking am. And I think you're hot. I hang out with my soldiers and that's it, oh and fuck people, but we don't really talk. Not like, I dunno, they know who I am."

"And now I do, too, so that's kind of over huh?" His grip on her shoulder became uncomfortably tight. "Everyone knows everything Adam, there are camera's everywhere."

"What the fuck? Like…everything, like they saw us."

"There it is," she interrupted. Now you don't care so much huh? Knowing everyone saw you fuck a filthy demon."

"Well fuck." He didn't correct her slight against herself and it stung. He started tapping his fingers against her back and rocking her gently back and forth. She felt her nose brush against his thick leather jacket, she took in that fresh smell again. She could make him out slightly now, he was staring upwards in thought. Suddenly a light came on in a near by building and they were illuminated. His head whipped down and his devilish smile appeared as he leaned her back and looked her up and down. "I picked a good time."

"Camera," she blurted out and pointed to the corner of the building. Adam's head whipped towards it and he shot a yellow light out of his palm and blew it up in a cackle of static.

"Ok, we gotta get out of here."

"Can you just take me back to my room, please?"

"I didn't…think about that honestly. I've only figured out how to get you to me. Would have been reaaalllly helpful in that building collapse." She was freezing now and shivering harder. "You're cold?"

"A gentleman would offer a lady his coat while they figured out how to get the fuck out of a situation he created."

"I'm sorry, but I don't take my clothes off in front of people, ever."

"The sex master doesn't take his clothes off?"

"Dick, but ill take it, nope."

"And people still get off with that?"

"Oh yeah." She pressed into him for some sort of warmth, but his jacket was cold and hard. "Fucking fine, don't, judge me though." He slowly unzipped it, revealing the sleek dark fur. He slid an arm out, his muscles were impressive as they lead down to a soft round stomach. She leaned into it, finally felling warmth.

"You're worried about your gut," she asked while looking up at him.

"Well, I wasn't until just now, its the spikes." She backed away to see golden spikes running down his neck and arms, the largest on his shoulders.

"Oh, I, yeah I've seen a lot of creatures down here and you're still hot, least you have two eyes." He giggled and leaned into her at the mention of his appearance. She shook her head knowing she had blabbed the wrong thing again.

"That's the problem," he sighed while kneeling down. "I'm not down here." He wrapped his jacket around her, the warmth from his body heat an immediate comfort. He pulled it tight under her chin. "Well, that's a first. You're the first person to see me shirtless since I died, how's that? Also first to ever wear my clothes. See, I do care. Also you look really fucking cute." She lifted her arms looking down at the comedically long sleeves. "I could get used to this."

"What now, you gonna walk me home mister?"

"Ohhh don't say that, I like role play way too much," he said in a husky voice as he leaned into her neck. He reached his hand under the jacket and grabbed the small of her back.

"Absolutely fucking not," she shoved his chest making him loose his balance slightly. "Take me back to the hotel."

"This is why I like you, nobody talks to me that way." He pulled her closer again. "But it doesn't bother me when you do it." He paused and held her close for a moment. "Maybe you can do it, if you just think about your room, while I'm holding the chain? I won't think about anything, I'll just follow your lead."

"Do we even have another option? I really don't want to walk all the way back naked in hell." He picked her up and rested her on his hip. She heard his breath quiver as her warmth of her spread legs touched his bare skin.

"Yeah definitely fucking not letting you do that. Okay, concentrate really hard. Tell me when." She envisioned her room, but it was still so new. Her brain kept wandering to other places. "Any time now."

"Stop! I'm sorry I have ADHD."

"A what now? Did you get that here? Is it contagious?"

"Okay, go!" He opened the portal and stepped them through. As the bright lights faded she realized they were on the main staircase in the hotel. "Oh shit."

"What the fuck Oti," he grunted as they both knelt down. They could hear voices from the lobby downstairs. She grabbed his hand and raced up the stairs. "Do they have cameras in here?"

"I don't fucking know, but I know I'm going to be in deep shit if we get caught."

"You and me both babe." She pulled him up another flight of stairs, but got confused in the panic. "You don't know where it is?"

"Give me a fucking minute!" She turned and ran the opposite direction, "304," she said confidently. "Wait, no, 9! Wait, shit."

"Oh for fucks sake."

"7! 307," she turned them back around and grabbed the knob to the locked door. "I don't have my key," she panted.

"We don't need a fucking key," he smiled as he placed his hand on the door and opened it effortlessly. "Whew," he said while plopping down onto the floor. "You really need to work on those last minute mind changes. That could have been ugly." He grabbed her shoulder and pulled her into his lap. "Now its just me and you," he said while resting his chin on her shoulder and wrapping his arms tightly around her stomach. She tried to wiggle free, but he held his grip and kissed her neck softly.

"Adam please, don't."

"Oh come on, aren't you worked up after that adventure?" He kissed her neck with a gentle bite, moving his mouth up to her jaw line as he slipped his hand under the jacket to her inner thigh. She went limp in his arms and hung her head down, tapping his face with an antler and making him flinch. "Hellooo? Where'd you go," he asked while squeezing her thigh. She didn't respond, she was far too good at disappearing as needed.

"Its fine, just do what you got to do, you own me anyway right? Isn't that what all you overlords do?"

"Mmmmmm, okay, I'm not gonna lie here I'm pretty used to people coming onto me, and being pretty fucking receptive if I come onto them. I'm a little stuck right now."

"You're all in heaven. Aren't you all happy? I just died yesterday, I'm filthy, I'm tired. You scared me, again. Adrenaline doesn't turn me on, sorry." He tapped his foot nervously. Her phone buzzed from across the room. She again went to wiggle free from his grip and he let her go, she kept his jacket draped over her shoulders, some how it made her feel safe despite their conflict.

" Off work doeface, hope you're having a good night, text me if you want to get a drink-Angel"

She burst into a smile as she starred down at her phone. Her long ears flicked backwards as she read it again excitedly. Adam crawled across the floor on all fours and slid an arm around her.

"Who's that," he asked hurriedly. Her smile at something else felt physically painful.

"I made a friend today, they want to hang out with me," she beamed back at him.

"Does said friend have a dick," Adam asked with narrowed eyes.

"Frankly I didn't ask," her face dropped as he tightened his grip, his jealousy was palatable. This could be bad she thought. She backed out of the text, her picture of them together shining back.

"Him? You're friends with the porn guy?" She nodded solemnly. "Whew, okay, I can handle that," he loosened his grip and leaned back on the bed.

"You know him?"

"Uhhh, yeah, I do watch porn babe. Its not easy to get the hell channels," he wiggled his fingers in the air, "I've got the hook ups."

"Gay porn?"

"I really like fuckin," he said with a devilish grin and a raised eyebrow.

"You're Bi," she asked with surprise.

"Is that what you kids call it? Cause back in my day it didn't have a name it just was."

"I wouldn't have pegged you for that." He snicked and shook his head.

"We can do whatever you want, babe, but I am a top"

"Oh for fucks sake," she shoved him and felt a smile creep across her face.

"What about you?"

"Straight as an unfortunate fucking arrow," she sighed. He peered over her dresser and noticed the Bible.

"Been doing some light reading I see," he laughed while he picked it up. The cover slid off, pages sprinkling on the floor. "S'lach lanu," he whispered with worried eyes while shoving it together hurriedly and placing it back on the table.

"What the fuck was that? Are you afraid?" His eyes shuffled downwards. "Of god?" He shook his head no while bitting his lip. "Cause people say like, Jesus fucking christ and god damnit and" he shoved a hand over her mouth.

"Just not, around me, okay? I don't care what you do." She felt herself brimming with questions as it flooded back into her brain this was real.

"Why are you afraid of him?" He raised an eyebrow again.

"Maybe you should read that fucking book." She felt a glimmer of guilt. Maybe it was hearing the slight raise in his voice towards her for the first time, or maybe she felt badly for seeing him wavering. In the short time she'd known him it seemed he hardly went long without a smile.

"I'm…sorry…about, whatever happened to you." His mouth fell open and he leaned up on one knee, his eyes were locked into hers. He moved closer until he was just inches from her face. His golden eyes round and wide he slowly cocked his head, as if he could stare some sort of information out of her.

"What did you say," he asked in a rushed husky whisper.

"I'm sorry for whatever happened to you." He leaned in even closer, his forehead touching hers with forceful pressure.

"I have to go, goodnight." He stood up and opened the portal, heaven's soft purples and yellows swirling around. He stepped through without a glance back.

"Your jacket!" It shut before he could hear her. She wrapped herself in it as she leaned against the bed, breathing in the heavily scent. "That was something."
