Star Wars: Cross Paths Part 4

Chapter 2 – Go To Him
Everyone was in Varykino for a week now to spend their summer vacations, and unlike during the Luma and Reed's wedding, the days were beautiful and nice. Warm days with the beautiful blue sky and sun shining, invited them to a swim in the crystal water of the lake, which was what the kids were doing, with the adults, including Luma and Reed, who went along to Naboo for the summer.
Ines was the only one who was sitting on one of the benches, smiling once in a while when she heard the laughs of the kids.
For the past 2 weeks, one in Coruscant and the other in Varykino, she was not in the mood to have fun, even if she tried to smile and play with her kids, cause she didn't want them to see their mother cry or sad all the time. They already missed their father, they didn't need their mother to be like 24/7 too.
She frown when her 2 years old son, passed by her, holding a not very happy Spots in his arms.
"Lukey sweetie, where are you going with a very upset Spots?" she asked.
The toddler stopped and looked at her with his beautiful blue eyes.
"Ops ne ba!" he replied.
She had to give a chuckle, which in fact her kids were the only ones who could make her smile these days.
"Sweetie Loth Cats are not a very fans of water. You can't put Spots in the lake!" she said taking the cat from Lukey's arms. The moment the cat was free, he ran towards inside the mansion.
"Bad Cat!" Lukey said pointing at him.
Leia and Han approached.
"Hey buddy, come with uncle Han and play in the water," Han said picking up Lukey who laughed.
"Thanks Han!"
"No problem kid!" and head towards the others laughing when he arrived to the water, while Leia sat down next to her.
Ines looked at her sister in law.
"How are you?" she asked her.
"Fat and tired. Can't wait to have this kid already!"
"Like I said, at least you have that kid right now!" Ines replied.
Then they heard a sound and then a splash, and the scream of the kids and laugh.
Leia looked at the water and screamed.
"How many times I told you, not make bombs into the water, Han Solo!"
"Sorry dear, I got carried away!" Han replied looking at Chewie who was laughing. "Laugh if off, Fuzz Ball!"
Shaking her head, Leia sighed.
"I don't know who is more childish, him or the kids!"
Ines glare at Han having fun with the kids.
"Well at least you have your husband here with you. Mine is away for 2 weeks cause he doesn't want to be near me!"
"Hey, he calls every day to see how you guys are doing!"
"You mean how the kids are doing. He doesn't ask how I'm doing at all." she sighed. "I think I blew it Leia, and this time for good. Probably right now he is with a beautiful and younger woman, in Tatooine that don't act like a child and can give him a child quicker than me!"
Before Leia could answer, Luma came up with Reed.
"Hello ladies!" Reed said.
"Hey Reed come to join us!" Han and Dan called him.
"Yeah Uncle Reed!"
"If you excuse me!" He said before kissing his wife and ran towards the kids and jump into the water, making the kids laugh, while Luma sat down next Ines, noticing her face, she knew right away why she was like that.
"Still sad about Luke?"
"She is being silly, that is what she is right now. Do you believe that she just said that Luke probably found another girl and doesn't want her anymore?"
Luma glare at Ines with wide eyes.
"Seriously Ines! You know that Luke is crazy about you. You two will be together forever, even as Force Ghosts, I'm sure about it. Come on, have a little faith in your husbands love for you!"
"That is why he is here right now right?"
Luma and Leia looked at each other.
"Hey, maybe you should go to Tatooine and you two talk face to face!" Luma said making Leia nod.
"That is a great idea. You two need to talk. Go to him, have that talk, let him know what really is on your mind!"
Ines looked to Leia and Luma.
"Are you two out of your mind? It is like you don't know your twin brother. If I appear in Tatooine, after he asked me that we need some time away from each other, he will be upset and it will make things even worse!"
"Ines, you are miserable here, and I know my twin brother and I know he is miserable too there."
"And the sooner you have that talk the better!" Luma nod.
"He said he would be here a week before Freedom Day and we can talk that time!" Ines said.
Leia glare at Luma.
"Luma and I believe this is the type of talk that you two need to have without people around you. Just the two of you, alone. Cause that's what you two need, to be alone, without kids and pets around."
"Yeah, like the old times."
Ines stood there thinking about it.
"I don't know. I don't want to upset him and be mad at me even more!" Ines said "And what about the kids?"
"Like we didn't look out of the kids before when you two went to Scariff on your honeymoon, remember?" Leia answered her.
"We can take care of them. They are not alone and I'm sure they don't mind. Hey maybe you can convince Luke to returned earlier!" Luma smiled.
"If I appeared without warning, he wont like that at all!"
"We tell him. He wont dare to upset a pregnant woman, for sure!" Leia said with a smile making Ines smile back.
Maybe they were right. Maybe they really need to talk without anyone around.
"Okay, fine. I will follow your advice!"
"Good. Then go packed and leave, the sooner the better!"
Nodding Ines stood up and went inside, hope they were indeed right.
So Ines will go to Tatooine following Leia and Luma advice. Do you think she is doing the right thing, or Luke will be even more upset?
