Returning to Aether Paradise (Part Four)
The group entered through the entryway, finding themselves outside; they saw several members of Team Skull around.
"Team Skull!" exclaimed Eddy.
"Is the Aether Foundation working with them?" asked Edd. Eddy looks down a path leading to what appeared to be a mansion; in front of it stood Guzma.
"It's Guzma!" exclaimed Eddy. Two members of Team Skull approaches the group.
"You want to get through here, you'll have to get through us." said one of the Team Skull members.
"If that's what it takes to get to Lillie, then my friend and I will be happy to oblige." replied Edd, motioning to Ed and himself. "Ed, will you battle one of these heathens?"
"Sure." replied Ed, taking out a pokeball while a Team Skull member does the same.
"Arbok, go!" said the Team Skull member, throwing a pokeball and releasing a purple, cobra-like Pokemon. The Rotom Pokedex comes out of Edd's backpack.
"Arbok, the Cobra Pokemon and the evolved form of Ekans. After stunning its opponents with the pattern on its stomach, it quickly wraps them up in its body and waits for them to stop moving." said the Rotom Pokedex.
"Flareon, come out!" said Ed, throwing Flareon's pokeball and releasing her. "Flareon, use Tail Whip!" Flareon runs at Arbok and hits it repeatedly with her tail.
"Arbok, use Acid Spray!" said the Team Skull member. Arbok spits a purple glob of acid at Flareon.
"Dodge it!" said Ed. Flareon jumps to the side, dodging Arbok's attack. "Now use Fire Fang!" Flareon runs at Arbok while her teeth were coated in fire and she bites Arbok, doing enough damage to knock it out. "Good work, Flareon."
"That's my brother." said Sarah.
"Way to go, Ed!" said Maxiley. With Edd and the other member of Team Skull, the Team Skull member has a Gumshoos out.
"Toucannon, please use Drill Peck!" said Edd. Toucannon spirals towards the Gumshoos and jabs his beak into it, knocking it out.
"No way!" said the Team Skull member. After the Team Skull member tosses Edd pokedollars, Edd was returning his Toucannon to his pokeball when another member of Team Skull approaches them.
"Yo, not cool taking down my buds Pokemon." said the Team Skull member.
"You want to do something about it?" asked Jimmy, stepping forward while pulling out a Dive Ball.
"You bet I do, runt." replied the Team Skull member, pulling out a pokeball. "Go, Salandit!" The Team Skull member pulls out a pokeball and releases a Salandit.
"Let's go, Wishiwashi!" replied Jimmy, throwing Wishiwashi's Dive Ball and releasing him; fishes gathered around him and formed into his School Form. "Wishiwashi, use Aqua Tail!" Wishiwashi swings his tail at the Salandit, hitting it, and doing super effective damage.
"Salandit, use Poison Gas!" said the Team Skull member. Salandit releases a stream of poison gas at Wishiwashi.
"Dodge and use Brine!" said Jimmy. Wishiwashi avoids the poisonous gas and releases a powerful blast of water at the Salandit, hitting it, and doing enough super effective damage to knock it out.
"I can't believe I was beaten by a kid!" said the Team Skull member before he returns his Salandit to its pokeball, tosses pokedollars to Jimmy, and runs off.
"What a fathead!" said Sarah.
"Let's get going." said Edd before he and the rest of the group continue on their way.
As they ran down the path, a Team Skull member blocks their path.
"You wanna get to the boss, you have to get through me." said the Team Skull member.
"With a Pokemon battle or by me pounding you?" asked Sarah, punching her palm, making the Team Skull member nervous.
"W-With a Pokemon battle." replied the Team Skull member.
"Okay." said Sarah, cheerfully, while pulling out a pokeball while the Team Skull member does the same.
"Go, Golbat!" said the Team Skull member, throwing a pokeball, releasing a Golbat.
"Jolteon, go!" said Sarah, throwing Jolteon's pokeball and releasing her. "Jolteon, Thunder Fang!" Jolteon lunges at Golbat while her teeth were coated in electricity and it bites Golbat, dealing super effective damage; Golbat begins to twitch.
"It would appear Golbat's paralyzed." said Edd.
"Golbat, bite that Jolteon back with Poison Fang!" said the Team Skull member. Unfortunately for the Team Skull member, paralysis stops Golbat from attacking.
"Thunder Shock!" said Sarah. Jolteon releases a lightning bolt from her body, and it hits Golbat, knocking it out.
"No way!" exclaimed the Team Skull member.
"Yes way!" said Maxiley.
"Way to go, baby sister!" said Ed. After the Team Skull member returns Golbat to its pokeball, he tosses pokedollars to Sarah and runs off. After Sarah picked up the pokedollars and returning Jolteon to her pokeball, the group continued going up the path until another Team Skull member steps in front of them.
"Yo, get lost!" said the Team Skull member. Maxiley stepped forward while pulling out a pokeball. "What; you want to take me on in a Pokemon battle?"
"Wow; you got it right on the first try." replied Maxiley, making the Team Skull member growl while pulling out a pokeball.
"Fine, if you want it that way." said the Team Skull member. "Raticate, go!" He tosses a pokeball and releases a Raticate.
"Vaporeon, go!" said Maxiley, throwing Vaporeon's pokeball and releasing him. "Vaporeon, Water Pulse!" Vaporeon forms a blue ball of water in front of his mouth, and he launches it at Raticate, hitting it; Raticate begins to stumble around.
"I think Raticate's confused." said Jimmy.
"Raticate, use Crunch!" said the Team Skull member. Raticate runs forward, but it bites onto the railing of the path, hurting itself.
"Vaporeon, Water Gun!" said Maxiley. Vaporeon fires a stream of water from his mouth, and it hits Raticate, knocking it out.
"Way to go, Maxie!" cheered Sarah.
"You showed him!" said Eddy.
"Bummer." said the Team Skull member before he returns Raticate to its pokeball. He tosses Maxiley pokedollars and runs off.
"And don't let us see you messing around again or you're going to get it!" shouts Sarah. After Maxiley picked up the pokedollars and returning Vaporeon to his pokeball, the group continues down the path until they reached the end of it, getting Guzma's attention.
"The hated boss who beats you down and beats you down and never lets up... Yeah. Big Bad Guzma is here!" said Guzma.
"Should've known that you'd be here." said Eddy.
"I've been looking forward to a rematch with you, Lily of the Conference champ!" said Guzma.
"You wanna get beaten by me again?" asked Eddy.
"No! This is my chance for revenge!" said Guzma. "You little misfits keep getting up in my grill, like a cloud of smoke I can't brush away. It's time I put out your fire at the source!"
"I'd like to see you try!" said Eddy.
"Get him, Mr. Eddy!" said Jimmy.
"You got it, Jim!" said Eddy as he and Guzma each pull out a pokeball. Guzma throws his, releasing his Masquerain; Eddy throws his, releasing his Vikavolt. Masquerain's Intimidate ability activates and weaken's Eddy's Pokemon.
"Masquerain, use Air Slash!" said Guzma. Masquerain flaps its wings and releases a blade of wind that hits Vikavolt, damaging him.
"Vikavolt, use Thunderbolt!" said Eddy. Vikavolt releases a jolt of electricity from its mandibles that hit Masquerain, dealing super effective damage; Masquerain's body twitches as its coated in static electricity.
"Masquerain's paralyzed, Eddy!" said Maxiley.
"Masquerain, use Silver Wind!" said Guzma. Masquerain tries to attack, but paralysis stops it.
"Vikavolt, use Air Slash!" said Eddy. Vikavolt flaps his wings and releases his own blade of wind that hits Masquerain, dealing enough super effective damage to knock it out.
"No way!" said Guzma.
"Nice one, Eddy!" said Maxiley. Guzma growls as he returns his Masquerain to its pokeball; he pulls out another one and tosses it, releasing his Pinsir.
"Vikavolt, use Air Slash!" said Eddy. Vikavolt releases another blade of wind at the Pinsir, hitting it, dealing super effective damage, and making it flinch. "Now use Acrobatics!" Vikavolt then flies all over the place while striking the Pinsir multiple times as it does and dealing super effective damage.
"Pinsir, use X-Scissor!" said Guzma. Pinsir moves at Vikavolt and does a dual slashing motion with its head pincers, doing damage.
"Vikavolt, use Zap Cannon!" said Eddy. Vikavolt gathers a lot of electricity into a glowing green ball and launches it at Pinsir, hitting it, and knocking it out.
"You gotta be kidding me!" said Guzma.
"What else you got?" asked Eddy. Guzma returns his Pinsir to its pokeball and pulls out another one; he tosses it, releasing a Vikavolt.
"I won't lose to you again!" said Guzma.
"We'll see about that." said Eddy. "Vikavolt, show this one what you can do; use Crunch!" Eddy's Vikavolt flies at Guzma's and bites down on it with his teeth, damaging it, and lowering its defense.
"Vikavolt, use Bug Buzz!" said Guzma. Vikavolt releases a buzzing soundwave that hits Eddy's Vikavolt, dealing damage and knocking it out.
"Vikavolt!" shouts Jimmy.
"How'd you like that, punk?" asked Guzma. Eddy returns his Vikavolt to its pokeball.
"You were great, pal." said Eddy. He puts Vikavolt's pokeball away and pulls out another one, then tosses it, releasing his Incineroar.
"So, you're bringing out your ace, huh?" asked Guzma.
"You know it!" said Eddy. "Incineroar, use Fire Fang!" Incineroar's fangs become coated in fire as he bites down hard on Guzma's Vikavolt, dealing super effective damage, and knocking it out.
"Nice one, Eddy!" said Maxiley. Guzma returns his Vikavolt to its pokeball, then pulls out his last one.
"You better not lose!" said Guzma to the pokeball. He then tosses it, releasing his Golisopod.
"Careful, Eddy." said Edd. "It's part water type."
"It's also part bug so that balances things out." Eddy replied.
"Very good logic, Eddy." said Edd.
"Incineroar, use Flamethrower!" said Eddy. Incineroar releases a large stream of fire from his belt that hits Golisopod, damaging it; small parts of its body catch on fire.
"Looks like Golisopod's feeling the burn... literally." said Edd before he and his friends chuckle.
"Very funny!" said Guzma. "Golisopod, use Razor Shell!" A blade of water extends out of one of Golisopod's arm guards and it slashes Incineroar with it, dealing super effective damage; it suddenly takes damage from the burn.
"Incineroar, use Fury Swipes!" said Eddy. Incineroar runs at Golisopod and slashes it repeatedly with his claws.
"Golisopod, use Razor Shell again!" said Guzma. Golisopod hits Incineroar with another water blade, dealing more super effective damage to him; followed by it taking more damage from the burn.
"Don't give up, pal!" said Eddy. A red aura suddenly flares out of Incineroar.
"Incineroar's Blaze ability!" said Jimmy. Eddy takes his Firium Z-Crystal and inserts it into his Z-Ring; he then does the poses required to activate it, making Z-Energy flow out of him into Incineroar, making the Z-Power symbol appear in front of him.
"Incineroar, use Inferno Overdrive!" said Eddy. Incineroar releases a massive fireball from his belt that completely engulfs Golisopod and makes a large explosion that forces everyone to shield their eyes. They all watch as the smoke cleared to reveal Golisopod, charred and unconscious.
"Eddy won!" cheered Ed.
"Never doubted him for a second." said Maxiley.
"That was amazing!" said Jimmy. Guzma sulks as he returns his Golisopod to its pokeball.
"Guzma! What is wrong with you?!" Guzma asked himself as he grips his head in frustration.
"A lot of things!" said Sarah. Guzma tosses pokedollars at Eddy and walks away from the mansion's door.
"Tch. Looks like I got no choice!" said Guzma. "Go on... go through!"
"Thank you." said Edd.
"Who's ready for what's inside?" Eddy asked his friends.
"We are!" they replied.
"Let's do it!" said Eddy as he and his friends run inside the mansion.
