Things Back Home

While Lincoln and Sam were in the Sinnoh Region, things back in Royal Woods haven't been going so good for some people.

The Loud family have been worried about Lincoln ever since they discovered that he ran away from home.

Lori put out a post online asking if anyone knew where her only brother was, but no one did.

Leni was really sad without Lincoln and was always wondering if he was okay.

Luna was very depressed because of her part in the events that led to Lincoln running away. If she hadn't accused Sam of flirting with Lincoln and drove her away by mentioning her father to her, she wouldn't have ran off, which led to Lincoln finding her and bringing her back to their house, which led to that scumbag, Rusty, making that altered photo, then maybe Lincoln would still be there.

She was also worried about Sam. No one has seen her ever since the photo was put online. After the photo was revealed to be a fake, everyone tried to find her to apologize, but no one's seen her. Luna tried the hardest to find her so she can apologize as well, and maybe restart their relationship, but she couldn't find her either.

Luan was so sad that she hadn't made a single pun for days; she also postponed her Funny Business gigs due to her heart not being in it.

Lynn Jr was upset to the point where she couldn't be focused on her sporting events; striking out several times at her softball games, missing goals at her soccer games. She spent most of her time hitting her punching bag which had Rusty's face drawn onto it.

Lucy was also depressed...okay, more depressed than she usually is. She hasn't been working on her poems as much as she usually does because she couldn't focus on anything because she was too worried about Lincoln and was wondering if he was even okay. She also took to making a voodoo doll of Rusty to torment him with.

The twins were too depressed to even fight with each other. Lana hasn't been playing with her pets as much as she usually does, and Lola couldn't focus on her pageantry. Whenever they saw Rusty at school, they would either bite him, kick him in the shins, or stomp hard on his foot.

Lisa put every available resource she had into tracking down Lincoln, even linking her tracking device with satellites all over the world, but even with that, she still couldn't find her only brother.

Lily was really sad without Lincoln around. She usually goes to his room to see if he was there but was upset when he wasn't.

When the Loud sisters, except Lily, thought back to the stuff that Lincoln said to them before he left, they realized that they haven't been very good to him; ganging up on him, putting so much responsibility on his plate, making fun of him, especially kicking him out of the house over a superstition with just the clothes on his back; even after he was always willing to support them, and help with their stuff when they needed it; it became no wonder that he left them so easily.

Lynn Sr and Rita were too worried about Lincoln to focus on their jobs, so they took some time off so they could look for him; but like everyone else, they haven't been able to do either.

Lincoln's friends, except Rusty, did everything they could to find him; but they haven't managed to do so either. Clyde, Liam, Zach, and especially Stella, were very angry at Rusty for what he did. They wouldn't talk to him at all, or let him sit with them at lunch, forcing him to sit at the Sticky Table by himself.

Stella was especially upset over Lincoln disappearing, and the angriest at Rusty; whenever he tried to talk to her, she would either slap him across the face harder than she did to Lincoln, punch him in the nose as hard as she could, or stuff him into the nearest locker and threw in a stink bomb with him. Every day at school, she would ask Lincoln's younger sisters if they found him yet, but was upset when they tell her they haven't.

Things have been rough for Rusty; now that he's been labelled a traitor by his friends, he hasn't been going to school as much and would often cut classes because of all the glares he's been getting from a lot of the students, as well as teachers. His father grounded him off internet for a month and took away his device.

Everyone hoped with all their hearts that wherever Lincoln and Sam were that they were okay.

One week after Lincoln and Sam disappeared, Lisa was going through her bunker in the hopes of finding a way to find her brother. She was currently looking at the monitor of a radar console with TODD next to her.

"I don't understand it, TODD; my radar isn't able to pick up my only male sibling." said Lisa.

"Are you WORRIED about HIM?" asked TODD.

"Of course I'm worried." replied Lisa. She pinches the bridge of her nose. "If only I took Lincoln's suggestion of checking the security footage that night and saw that accursed photo was a hoax, then Lincoln would still be here with us. It's been a week since the night he gave us a piece of his mind."

"Yes; it was also a week ago he was here in your BUNKER." said TODD. Lisa turned towards TODD with a shocked look on her face.

"Wait, he was in here?!" asked Lisa.

"Yes." replied TODD.

"How did he get in here?" asked Lisa.

"Lincoln told me you let him IN HERE." said TODD.

"I did no such thing." replied Lisa. "How could he have gotten in here past my security?"

"He probably knew your passcode's your BIRTHDAY." said TODD.

"What was Lincoln doing in here?" asked Lisa.

"He took something from your INVENTION SHELF." replied TODD.

"What?" asked Lisa.

"It looked like a WATCH." replied TODD. Lisa runs to her invention shelf and looks at where her Dimensional Watch was and saw it wasn't there.

"So, that's why we can't locate him; he's not in this dimension." said Lisa. She quickly climbs out of her bunker and runs into the house. "Family Meeting!" A minute later, everyone, except Lincoln, gathered in the living room.

"What is it, Lisa?" asked Lynn Sr.

"Family; I believe I know why we can't find Lincoln." said Lisa.

"Why?" asked Rita.

"You see, some time ago, I invented the Dimensional Watch, a device that can open portals between alternate dimensions." said Lisa. "About a minute ago, TODD informed me that the night Lincoln ran away, he went into my bunker and took it."

"Probably knew the passcode to your bunker's literally your birthday." said Lori.

"Yeah, we all know that." said Luan.

"So, what you're saying is, Lisa, is that Lincoln's in a different dimension?!" asked Lynn Sr.

"Affirmative." replied Lisa.

"Now we'll never find Linky!" cried Leni.

"Not necessarily." said Lisa.

"What do you mean?" asked Lori.

"To increase my knowledge of alternate universes, I sent small drones capable of travelling between them and transmit data back here to some in order to learn more about them." said Lisa. "They also have small radars in them which I can reprogram from my bunker's console in order to locate Lincoln's tracking chip."

"How long would it take for your drone things to find him?" asked Luna.

"Considering that there are an infinite number of alternate dimensions; who knows?" replied Lisa. "But it's the best chance we have of finding him. I'll also start making another Dimensional Watch so we can go to whatever universe that Lincoln's in and go there to retrieve him."

"Then hurry up and do it!" said Lynn Jr. Lisa rushes back to her bunker to do so.

"Lincoln; please be okay." the family says to themselves.
