Pop goes the Sneasel
At the cabin in Sandgem Town, everyone was having dinner, celebrating Stella's first Pokemon Contest ribbon.
"This is so cool." said Stella as she looks at her first ribbon.
"Just four more to go and you can compete in the Sinnoh Grand Festival." said Clyde.
"I plan on winning the next contest." said Dawn.
"You'll have to get past me first." said Stella with a smirk.
"Where's the next Pokemon Contest Hall?" asked Sam.
"It's in a place called Floaroma Town." said Dawn.
"It's on the way to Eterna City where my next gym is." said Lincoln.
"Maybe we should look around for more Pokemon we can use in our contests?" suggested Dawn.
"Sure. I can also look for some for my team." said Lincoln.
"We'll start heading there tomorrow." said Sam. "For now, let's just eat."
Once dinner was finished and the dishes were washed, everyone just hangs out and watches TV before they all start going to bed. Before Stella entered the bedroom she was using, she feels a hand on her shoulder; she looks to see looking at her.
"What's up, Lincoln?" asked Stella. Lincoln just puts his hands on each side of her head and kisses her on the lips, surprising Stella before she starts kissing him back; after a few seconds, they break the kiss.
"Goodnight, Stella." said Lincoln.
"Night, Lincoln." said Stella before going into the bedroom and closing the door. Lincoln heads to the couch and gets under his blanket; he soon falls asleep.
The next morning, everyone was packing up for their trip to Floaroma Town.
"Almost ready?" asked Lincoln.
"Yeah, bro." said Luna. Once everyone was done packing, they all exit the house and start heading towards their destination.
"Hey, everyone!" Dawn's voice calls out, making the group look to see her running towards them.
"Hi, Dawn." said Clyde.
"Are you all ready to go?" asked Dawn.
"You bet we are." said Lincoln. Dawn smiles before hooking her arm around one of Lincoln's, making Stella frown and hook her arm around Lincoln's other arm while she and Dawn glare at each other.
As they travel down Route 202, Lincoln looks around with a smile on his face.
"What's on your mind, brah?" asked Luna.
"This is the same area that Sam and I arrived in when we came to this dimension." said Lincoln.
"I remember when we slept here, and you woke up to saw Shinx and screamed." said Sam with a giggle.
"I was just startled." said Lincoln, getting laughs from everyone else.
"This is also the route where the Time Distortion that Zorua came out of." said Lincoln.
"What's a Time Distortion like?" asked Stella.
"It looks like a blurry dome of air." said Lincoln.
"You mean like that?" asked Clyde, making everyone else look to see a Time Distortion in front of them.
"Another one?" says Lincoln.
"What are the odds?" asked Sam.
"Do you think something will come out of it?" asked Clyde. He got his answer when a bipedal, weasel-like Pokemon with one ear that's longer than the other, mostly whitish gray fur, the long ear, tip of its nose, and its sharp claws being purple, and gray featherlike protrusions coming out of its rear.
"What is that?" asked Clyde. Lincoln takes out his pokedex and points it at the Pokemon.
"Sneasel, the Sharp Claw Pokemon. Its sturdy, curved claws are ideal for traversing precipitous cliffs. From the tips of these claws drips a venom that infiltrates the nerves of any prey caught in Sneasel's grasp." said the pokedex.
"Why does this Sneasel look different from the one the pokedex is showing?" asked Sam.
"Maybe it's a Hisuian Pokemon." said Lincoln.
"Like how present day Zoruas have dark gray fur while your Hisuian Zorua has light gray fur?" asked Stella.
"Exactly." replied Lincoln. The group looked at the Sneasel who was staring right at them.
"So, what do we do with this one?" asked Luna.
"We should try to capture it and bring it to Professor Rowan." said Lincoln.
"What's a Hisuian Sneasel like?" asked Clyde. Lincoln looks up the Sneasel's data on his pokedex.
"This says its part poison and part fighting." said Lincoln. "My Hisuian Zorua might be able to handle it."
"I can use my Ralts." said Clyde.
"Geodudette might have a chance." said Luna.
"I can try my Zubat." said Sam.
"I think that should be plenty." said Lincoln.
"Let's get it!" said Clyde. The group release their selected Pokemon and have them surround the Sneasel; it just looks around as if it didn't see any real threat. Suddenly, it moves quickly at Zubat and rams into her.
"That was fast!" said Stella.
"That must've been Quick Attack!" said Lincoln. "Zorua, use Shadow Sneak!" Zorua's shadow extends behind the Sneasel and strikes it from behind; it responds by trying to use Quick Attack on her, but the attack was ineffective due to Zorua being part ghost type. Seeing that its attack didn't work, it turns towards Geodudette and slams its claws onto her, doing super effective damage.
"That must've been a fighting type move." said Lincoln.
"We have to do something!" said Dawn.
"Ralts, use Psybeam!" said Clyde. Ralts fires off a beam of psychic energy that hits the Sneasel, doing super effective damage.
"Nice one, Clyde." said Lincoln. The Sneasel responds by using Quick Attack on Ralts, knocking him to the ground.
"Zubat, use Supersonic!" said Sam. Zubat releases a high-pitched soundwave that hits Sneasel, making it stagger around.
"Geodudette, use Tackle!" said Luna. Geodudette propels herself at the Sneasel and slams into it, knocking it to the ground.
"Someone should try to catch it!" said Lincoln.
"I got this!" said Luna before she takes out an empty pokeball and throws it at the Sneasel, hitting it, and sucking it in; the pokeball wiggles a few times before clicking.
"Way to go, Luna!" said Sam. Luna walks over to her new Sneasel's pokeball and picks it up.
"What's my new Sneasel lilke?" asked Luna. Lincoln points his pokedex at Luna's new Sneasel's pokeball and does a scan.
"This says that your new Sneasel's a girl, and she knows Quick Attack and Rock Smash." said Lincoln.
"Let's head back to Sandgem Town and show Professor Rowan." said Sam. The group then return their Pokemon to their pokeballs and head back to Sandgem Town.
Twenty minutes later, Professor Rowan was examining the Hisuian Sneasel with much interest.
"I can't believe you found another Hisuian Pokemon!" said Rowan as he takes down some notes.
"Yeah, and in the same spot that we found Lincoln's Zorua." said Sam.
"Is there something about that particular area?" asked Clyde.
"I'm not certain at this time." said Professor Rowan. "I'll need to examine that spot."
After Professor Rowan finished examining the Hisuian Zorua, Luna walks over to her.
"I hope we weren't too tough on you, dudette." said Luna. Sneasel just shrugs nonchalantly.
"Cocky little dudette, isn't she?" says Sam with a chuckle.
"Well, anyway, welcome to our little group, Sneasel." said Luna.
"What should we do now?" asked Stella.
"Let's just chill out for a bit and let Sneasel get used to this new time period." said Lincoln. "My Zorua needed time to adjust."
"Yeah, that's a good idea." said Luna.
"We can start heading to Floaroma Town after lunch." said Clyde.
The group have just met a new Hisuian Pokemon that's now a part of Luna's team. What else will they experience as their Sinnoh adventures continue?
Meanwhile, back at the Loud house, the Loud sisters that were still in Royal Woods were in the garage with Machop in front of a punching bag; and by 'punching bag' we meant Rusty hanging from the ceiling.
"Come on, girls; aren't you bored with torturing me yet?!" asked Rusty.
"No way." replied Lynn Jr. She turned towards Machop.
"What is that thing?" asked Rusty
"Ready, Machop?" Lynn asked her Pokemon; Machop nods in response. Lynn turned towards Rusty while cracking her knuckles. She and Machop each pulls back an arm and they both punched Rusty at the same time, making him swing up and hit the ceiling, hard.
"That had to hurt." said Lori.
"I really hope so." said Lola.
