Onward to Po Town
At the Tapu Village Pokemon Center, after the group finished eating, Eddy goes to the video phone and dials his parents' number. Seconds later, Eddy's mother appeared on the monitor.
"Hey, Mom." said Eddy.
"Hello, Eddy; how are you doing in Alola?" asked Eddy's mother.
"Passed all the trials here on Ula'ula Island, so now me and my friends can take on the Island Kahuna here." said Eddy.
"I am very proud of you, Eddy; it pleases your father and I that your on your way to a bright future." said Eddy's mother. Eddy smiles in response; he then sees his father pacing back and forth behind Eddy's mother with a frown on his face.
"What's with Dad?" asked Eddy.
"Several days ago, your older brother came home." replied Eddy's mother. "He was here for several minutes, and the next thing we know, he disappears, and we don't know where he is."
"He's here in Alola." replied Eddy with a frown. Eddy's father, after hearing what Eddy just said, runs to the computer.
"What is he doing there?!" asked Eddy's father, angrily.
"He's trying to compete in the Alola League." replied Eddy.
"We never should have told him about Pokemon." said Eddy's mother, pinching the bridge of her nose.
"Is he with you?!" asked Eddy's father.
"No; he went to Melemele Island to do the trials there." replied Eddy. "Also, he made me help him catch a Pokemon for him."
"Eddy; if that good-for-nothing brother of yours somehow makes it to the Alola League, and you end up facing him, I want you to dominate him, show him no mercy!" exclaimed Eddy's father.
"That was my plan after running into him." replied Eddy. His father smiles in response.
"Go get him, son." said Eddy's father. With that, Eddy ends the call. Soon, the group walk out of the Pokemon Center.
"Okay, gang; let's get to Malie City." said Eddy.
"Eddy, you think we can stop by the Aether House so I can say goodbye to Lillie?" asked Edd.
"Okay, but make it quick." said Eddy. The group begin travelling west; minutes later as the Aether House came into view, to their surprise, they see Plumeria and two Team Skull members standing in front of the Aether House.
"Hey, it's Plumeria." said Ed.
"What are they doing there?" asked Jimmy.
"Probably up to no good as usual." said Sarah. The group runs to Plumeria.
"What are you doing here?" asked Eddy. Lillie runs out the door.
"Double D; Team Skull took the Pokemon here!" said Lillie.
"How despicable!" said Edd.
"Give those Pokemon back!" exclaimed Ed.
"You brats will have to make us." said one of the Team Skull members. Sarah and Jimmy step forward.
"Oh, we'll make you all right." said Sarah.
"Yeah!" said Jimmy.
"Facing a couple of brats should be easy." said one of the Team Skull members.
"Like taking candy from a baby." said the other member.
"I'll settle for taking their Pokmeon." said the first Team Skull member. He walks to Sarah while pulling a pokeball out of his pocket, prompting Sarah to do the same.
"Go get him, Sarah." said Maxiley.
"I will." replied Sarah. "Blissey, go!" She throws Blissey's pokeball and releases her.
"Raticate, go!" said the Team Skull member, throwing his pokeball and releasing a Raticate. "Raticate, Sucker Punch!" Raticate runs at Blissey and punches her, knocking her back.
"Oh yeah!" exclaimed Sarah. "Blissey, I'm sorry, but I want you to do Take Down." Blissey nods in understanding and she runs at Raticate; she rams it, and knocks it back. Blissey flinches in pain from the recoil damage caused by Take Down. "Are you okay, Blissey?" Blissey nods in response.
"Use Hyper Fang!" said the Team Skull member. Raticate runs at Blissey.
"Defense Curl!" said Sarah. Blissey curls up and her defense increases before Raticate bites her, damaging her. "Use Copycat!" Blissey becomes surrounded by a blue aura; she runs at Raticate and bites it back, dealing enough damage to knock it out.
"No way!" said the Team Skull member.
"You did it, Blissey." cheered Sarah. "Use Life Dew to heal yourself." Blissey closes her eyes and a glowing drizzle falls from the sky onto her, healing her wounds. The Team Skull member returned Raticate to its pokeball, and throws pokedollars to Sarah; he walks past the other Team Skull member who was walking forward.
"I'll take on the twerp with the braces." said the other Team Skull member, pulling out a pokeball; Jimmy steps forwards while pulling out a pokeball.
"Gumshoos, go!" said the Team Skull member, throwing his pokeball and releasing a bigger version of Yungoos, but with brown fur. Edd points the Rotom Pokedex at the Pokemon.
"Gumshoos, the Stakeout Pokemon, and the evolved form of Yungoos. Patient by nature, this Pokémon loses control of itself and pounces when it spots its favorite meal—Rattata!" said the Rotom Pokedex.
"Go, Lucario!" shouts Jimmy as he tosses his pokeball, releasing his Lucario. "Lucario, use Power-Up Punch!" Lucario rushes at the Gumshoos and punches it right in the face, doing super effective damage; a surge of energy rises up from beneath him.
"Power-Up Punch has increased the attack power of Lucario." said Edd.
"I loved using that move with Infernape." said Eddy with a smile as he remembers his time in Sinnoh with his starter Pokemon.
"Gumshoos, use Mud-Slap!" said the Team Skull member. Gumshoo flings mud from the ground at Lucario's face, doing super effective damage, and lowering his accuracy.
"Lucario, use Brick Break!" said Jimmy. Lucario brings down an overhead chop and manages to hit Gumshoos, doing enough super effective damage to knock it out.
"Way to go, Jimmy!" said Eddy.
"Jimmy won!" said Ed. The Team Skull member frowns as he returns his Gumshoos to his pokeball, gives Jimmy pokedollars, and runs off. Plumeria turned towards Ed.
"You know, I've been wanting a rematch with you ever since our battle on Akala Island." said Plumeria, pulling out a pokeball.
"I will give you a rematch." said Ed, pulling out a pokeball.
"Golbat, go!" said Plumeria, throwing her pokeball and releasing a Golbat.
"Gigalith, let's go!" said Ed, throwing Gigalith's pokeball and releasing him.
"Golbat, use Bite!" said Plumeria. Golbat flies at Gigalith and bites him, damaging him.
"Gigalith, Power Gem!" said Ed. Gigalith fires a red beam of energy from his front crystal and it hits Golbat, dealing super effective damage and knocking it out.
"Way to go, big brother!" said Sarah.
"That Golbat wasn't a challenge to Gigalith." said Maxiley. Plumeria growls and returns Golbat to its pokeball; she then pulls out another pokeball.
"Salazzle, go!" said Plumeria, throwing the pokeball and releasing a Salazzle.
"Her Salandit must've evolved." said Edd.
"Salazzle, Dragon Rage!" said Plumeria. Salazzle opens her mouth and fires a purple blast of energy out of it and it hits Gigalith.
"Rock Slide!" said Ed. Gigalith begins to glow white; multiple rocks appeared above him and they fly at Salazzle, hitting her, and dealing super effective damage to her.
"Dragon Rage!" said Plumeria. Salazzle fires another purple blast of energy from her mouth and it hits Gigalith.
"Rock Blast!" said Ed. Gigalith fires several rocks from his body and they hit Salazzle, knocking her out. "Way to go, Gigalith!"
"Well done, Ed." said Ed.
"You showed her!" said Eddy. Plumeria returned Salazzle to her pokeball.
"Now I see why Team Skull is having trouble with all of you." said Plumeria.
"Give back the Pokemon!" exclaimed Ed.
"If you want the Pokemon back, you'll have to come to us in Po Town." said Plumeria. She then points at Eddy. "Our boss wants to settle the score with shorty there." She and the two Team Skull members walked away.
Later in the Aether House, Lillie was comforting two children who were crying. Ed turned towards the others.
"We have to help those Pokemon, guys." said Ed.
"Yes; our Grand Trial can wait." said Edd.
"And if that Guzma jerk wants a rematch with me, I'll give him one!" said Eddy.
"Please get those Pokemon back, everyone." said Lillie.
"We will, Lillie; we will." replied Edd. He takes out the Rotom Pokedex and turns on the map app. "Okay; if we take our Lapras through this water, we should reach Route 16, then we go through Ula'ula Meadow, and then we go through Route 17, and after that, we should reach Po Town."
"Okay, guys; the sooner we get those Pokemon back, the sooner we can take on the Grand Trial." said Eddy.
"Let's help those Pokemon." said Edd. After Ed returned Gigalith to his pokeball, the group left the Aether House.
"Be careful." said Lillie.
"We will." replied Edd. The group walked towards the direction to Route 16.
