Chapter 4:
Rivers:
I was in the halls. My powers are getting out of hand! I then turned around and saw Taevion. He snuck up behind me. "I know what you are," says Taevion.
"What," I asked.
"You're like me," says Taevion.
...
We were on the roof. "Taevion, what are you doing," asks his girlfriend, Jessica Jefferson.
"It's okay," says Taevion. He then looks at me. "Clark, right? Watch this!" He then reveals he has heat vision too.
"Woah," I said.
"I think we might have the same powers," says Taevion, "I didn't think there was anyone like me! So, what do you think? Mutants? Aliens? Scientists experimented on us when we were babies?"
"I... I've been too afraid of my powers to think about that," I said.
"Afraid," asks Taevion, "I've been trying to hide mine too, but I've never been afraid of what I can do?"
"But these powers are dangerous," I said.
"We're just having trouble controlling them," says Taevion, "when we get it, we could become masters... of these powers. I don't mean to sound like a megalomaniac!"
"It is good to know there's someone that's like me," I said.
"So, you got heat vision and speed," says Taevion, "what about strength?"
I then bended part of the roof. "I got that," I said.
"Awesome," says Taevion.
JHI's POV:
I'm getting worried about Clark. I then saw Lana. I've had a crush on her, but she's my best friend's girlfriend. So, you can imagine the problem there.
"John, have you noticed anything strange about Clark," asks Lana.
"Yeah, first, he magically heated up the beaker," I said, "then he moved as fast as the Flash!"
"I hope he's okay," says Lana.
"I'm sure he'll tell us what it is," I said.
Vril Dox II's POV:
I then began studying the Earth. I was in a town called Smallville. Interesting. I then began searching.
