Angel: I'm just gonna clarify that with Katsuki and Izuka, it's going to be a slow burn kind of thing. And I mean VERY slow, as in you have to be really patient on some firsts with them. By the time anything major happens, people might be frustrated with me lol And Izuka's not in love with him, she just had a reaction to him being too close. She only defended him on the bus because he helped her during the alarm chaos since she thought it was fair, not because she likes him. Although I'd say she was more so embarrassed than crushing on him. Does it really count as a crush when she doesn't understand why Izuku gets flushed around Ochaco...? She and Katsuki still think poorly of each other as of now—the whole nickname thing with them should be a good indicator of that.
As for other boys she could potentially be interested in, there are some events in the future that you could take as shipping moments, but that's all I'll say on that front. It's just gonna take a while still to develop because of the storylines coming up, ie seasons 2 and 3. I don't want things being too fast paced in her relationships—so anything romantic with Katsuki or anyone else is still at beginner level.
"Whoa, what is that thing?" Eijiro was looking at the portal, while numerous villains were stepping inside. "Has the training started already? I thought we were rescuing people!"
Izuku was about to step forward for a better look. "STAY BACK!" Mr. Aizawa warned again and they flinched. Izuku glanced up, gasping to see the teacher putting on his goggles. "This is real. Those are villains."
Everyone flinched in disbelief, some of them shaking.
"The only real heroes I see are Thirteen and Eraser Head," A voice informed as a giant monster stepped out, with sharp teeth, a brain overtaking half its head, and wide eyes. The guy with the hands all over him raised a hand, and the creature stopped in place. "Perplexing. According to the schedule we retrieved from UA," The portal formed back into a moving entity with yellow eyes. "All Might should be here as well."
"So you scumbags used the press as a cover and sneaked onto campus," Mr. Aizawa guessed correctly; one of them must have used a Quirk to bypass the security to get the press to sound the alert. That way, they could sneak in unnoticed by everyone else.
"Where is he?" The leader ignored the accusation as a whole crowd of villains were walking towards them. "I went through the trouble of bringing so many friends who are eager to meet him. They want All Might. The great Symbol of Peace. I can't believe he's not here. Maybe if I kill a few kids, he'll come out to play."
Once he said that, Mr. Aizawa's scarves came to life, his hair lifting up. Thirteen stood in front of the students protectively, her eyes narrowed.
That day, we learned what the pro heroes are really up against. The darkness they face to keep us safe. The twins stared at all of the villains, their eyes shaking in terror.
This wasn't just a matter of being a hero anymore. It was learning firsthand what kind of villains us students would have to prepare for someday.
All of the villains including the leader were staring at the smaller crowd of students and teachers. The leader himself had an intense look in his eyes.
We looked at these villains...and pure evil stared back.
The fact that they wanted All Might...only made it worse.
"What?" Eijiro asked in disbelief staring at the crowd. "Real villains? No way. How could so many of 'em get into a UA facility this secure?"
Momo then stepped up. "Yeah, Thirteen," The hero glanced back at her. "Why aren't the alarms going off?"
"Good question...I'm not sure," She responded honestly, Tenya and Momo looking at her in shock.
Izuka gave a small frown towards the crowd. If they saw what happened earlier with the press...then they probably took precautions to make sure that didn't happen again. They must've figured out how to bypass the alarms.
"Is the entire campus under attack?" Shoto wondered while glaring at the villains. "Or is this their only target? Either way, if the alarm sensors aren't being triggered, then one of these villains must have a Quirk that's masking their presence here. They carefully chose this isolated facility as an entry point at a time when a class was being taught. They're fools for trespassing here...but they've thought this out," He looked towards the leader specifically. "Whatever their plan, they must have a concrete objective in mind. But what is it?"
Eijiro, Minoru, and Hanta all gasped from his deduction. They all stared in silence, trying to figure out what the villains wanted and why. "Thirteen, get them outta here," Mr. Aizawa stepped past her. "And alert the main campus. Actually, if they've got the ability to block our sensors, then they might be jamming our regular communications too. Kaminari, try using your Quirk to contact the school."
"Yes, sir," He pressed his hand to his radio.
"What are you gonna do?" Izuku asked the teacher in concern. "You can't fight them on your own!"
"You'd be the only fighter against dozens of them down there..." Izuka clenched a fist in front of her heart. Despite the negative treatment she got him and being the one he disliked the most...he was still her teacher, and he was risking his life to save every single one of his students.
"She's right, there's too many of 'em. Even if you can nullify their Quirks, your fighting style's not suited for this," Izuku pointed out to him. "Your power works best in stealth and one-on-one fights. That's not gonna help with a group," He frowned towards the floor.
"You can't be a pro if you only have one trick," Mr. Aizawa corrected the twins, who gasped in shock towards him. "I'll leave it to you, Thirteen."
She nodded in silence. The teacher then jumped up, flying off the stairs while clutching his scarf. "Shooting squad!" One of the villains grinned, revealing guns for fingers. "Take your aim!"
"Didn't our intel say it was just gonna be Thirteen and All Might out there?" A female villain's hair started to move. "Who's that?"
"Don't recognize him," A heavy-set villain with a gas mask over his face stepped up. "But if he thinks he can take us down easy, he's dead." Mr. Aizawa continued running towards them without any hesitation on his part.
"Let's gun him down!" The three exclaimed in unison. The teacher activated his Quirk, causing the one in the middle not being able to fire at him. "My Quirk!" He shook his hands while the other two weren't able to use them either.
"Where are my bullets?"
His scarf wrapped around them, and they all yelped as they were lifted up into the air. He then threw down his arms to knock two into each other with ease. The other villains gasped as they had underestimated him and his abilities.
"Idiots!" One of them finally realized who Mr. Aizawa was. "That's Eraser Head! A pro! He can cancel your Quirks just by looking at you."
"Cancellation?" One of them asked and then raced forward. "Bet you can't erase the Quirk of a heteromorphic-type like me, can you?" He then jumped up above Mr. Aizawa, preparing to punch him.
"Yeah," Mr. Aizawa remarked while dodging the villain's blows by moving his head. "You're right." He then lunged his own fist forward to punch the villain, knocking him backwards. He then spun around to throw his scarf at the villain. "But a villain like you is only dangerous if you can reach me." The scarf captured the villain by the leg. He then ducked his head as one of them tried to attack from behind, and he held onto his scarf. "Good thing," He kicked the one behind him. "I've taken measures to make sure that never happens." The villain he kicked crashed into two other ones. The one captured in the scarf fell and landed behind Mr. Aizawa with a grunt. "Now which one of you gutter punks is next?" He then paused to see that he was surrounded by the villains.
"There he goes, trying to intimidate us," The leader spoke up as he watched, examining the pro hero. "He is strong, and since he's hiding behind those goggles, you can't tell whose Quirk he's erasing. He's making it hard for us to work together or rely on each other's powers."
A villain was about to use her hair, but then it fell. She was soon kicked by Mr. Aizawa, as he had used his Quirk on her. He then attacked another, the leader watching with contempt on his face. This was not how he wanted things to go at all...
"How annoying. The worst thing about dealing with pros...is when they live up to all their hype," He then scratched the side of his chin with two fingers. Mr. Aizawa's hair fell back down to his shoulders, the purple warp man narrowing his eyes as he watched carefully. The teacher threw his scarf around another villain, who yelped as he was pulled forward.
Thirteen was guiding the class away from the fight, though Izuku had stayed behind to watch his teacher. "Whoa. He's holding them off," He murmured to himself. "I guess I shouldn't have underestimated him."
Izuka glanced back in a bit of worry for Mr. Aizawa, but could only do what she was told. She then flinched in alarm to see her brother still behind. Tenya noticed him as well. "This is no time to be analyzing," He called out to the green-haired boy. "We have to go!"
"He's right, Izuku, it's not safe for us to be here," Izuka frowned a little. "Please...let Mr. Aizawa handle this on his own," She gave him a pleading look and he could tell that she was concerned too. He glanced at her shaking hand as he sensed her fear. But she was trying her absolute best to hide it should someone try to use it against her. He then nodded at the two and ran after them. The class all headed back the way they came...only for a purple portal to appear a few feet away. Thirteen stopped as the purple energy started to shoot up from the ground, gasping sharply. All of them stopped as well, looking up in alarm.
"There is no escape for you," He started to tower over them. Izuka gritted her teeth, her fingers sparking white energy.
Mr. Aizawa glanced back to see what was going on. Damn. I blinked and the guy who seems like the most trouble got away. He kicked a villain down quickly, about to go help his students when he got cornered by more villains. He then grunted angrily that he couldn't go and protect them right now...
"It's a pleasure to meet you," The purple wrap man spoke up to the students and Thirteen. "We are the League of Villains. I know it's impolite, but we decided to invite ourselves in to this haven of justice to say hello," Thirteen backed up towards the students. "And besides, isn't this a fitting place for All Might, the Symbol of Peace, to take his last breath?"
Izuku gasped in horror, Izuka letting out a sharp breath as she stopped moving. Fear was then turned into panic for the both of them, wondering what he meant by that. Even if All Might was here...would that really be possible? "I believe he was supposed to be here today, and yet I see no sign of him. There must've been some sort of change in plans we could not have foreseen. Ah, well, in the end, I suppose it doesn't matter." Thirteen held up her hand, one of her caps being removed from her finger. "I still have a role to play."
She was about to use Black Hole against him when she gasped, because Katsuki and Eijiro were jumping right towards the purple wrap man. Izuka's eyes slowly widened at the incoming danger, feeling the same thing she did before trying to save Katsuki with the sludge villain. She jumped up above her classmates, to the shock of her brother. She held up an arm and then flung it, firing off one of her shooting stars from her own hand. The two boys yelled as they charged in too, Katsuki holding out a hand to create an explosion at the same time that Izuka's shooting star hit. Izuka landed between the boys in a crouch, staring up ahead as the smoke was staring to clear.
"Did you think we were just gonna stand around and let you tear this place to shreds?" Eijiro asked confidently as his arms were already hardened. Izuka let out a small breath of air as she stood up, eyeing up ahead closely. Izuku blinked and then gasped. He could faintly see something in the smoke...and it was the purple warp man. If he was affected by any of the three, he clearly didn't show it. Izuka's hair stood up on end in terror as she saw him too, to her disbelief. Her shooting stars so far hadn't been a problem dealing with villains, but apparently this one was an exception. Izuku looked closer and saw that the warp man had actually made a hole where Izuka had intended to hit him. It had landed in a window, which now had a crack in it.
"You live up to your school's reputation," He spoke up, alarming Katsuki and Eijiro as well. "But you should be more careful, children," He went back into his regular form, though this time he had a brace of sorts around his neck. "Otherwise, someone might get hurt."
"You three, get out of the way, right now!" Thirteen urged them and they glanced back at her.
"I'll scatter you across the facility..." The villain then spread out his body towards them before anyone could do anything. "To meet my comrades, and your deaths!" His power started to surround the whole class. Izuka gasped sharply and kneeled to the ground, a large yellow star appearing in front of the three like a shield to hold the energy back. Everyone gasped while looking at her, as this was a new power that they hadn't seen from her. Izuka gritted her teeth while holding it as much as she could, already being slid backwards. She wasn't even focusing on the fact that she had a new ability, she was just trying to keep her classmates safe.
Come on...I have to...keep this up as long as I can! I haven't even gotten over my shyness with them, but...they're still my classmates, some of them already becoming...my first friends! She thought of Ochaco and Momo specifically. She then looked up with conviction to ensure that she could help them, even if only a little. The girl then slowly got onto her feet, still maintaining the shield.
"Hm...impressive, little girl," The purple wrap man examined Izuka. "But my warning still stands." He used his energy more against her shield and she almost lost her footing while looking towards him. Thirteen blinked at her in shock.
"Izuka!" Izuku shouted for her as her hair flew behind her head.
Damn it. I'm not sure I can hold on much longer...! She bit her lip while trying to step forward and failing. But it felt like she was in a tornado.
"Crap. What is this?!" Eijiro exclaimed while Izuka's shield wasn't enough. The purple energy pushed back hard against it, breaking the star-shaped shield into pieces seconds later and knocking her backwards in the process. "Mido!" Eijiro looked back at her with wide eyes before grabbing her hand. She couldn't plant her feet on the ground, so he had to hold onto her floating body. Ochaco and Rikido were saved by Tenya as he pushed them back. Mezo wrapped his arms around Mina and Hanta to protect them. Denki, Kyoka, and Momo held on as much as they could. Tenya glanced back with a nervous expression, seeing the power everywhere. He couldn't even see his fellow classmates anymore, because there was now a purple dome in front of them.
"What's going on?!" He demanded as a portal appeared near the ceiling. It dropped Izuku and only him. He screamed as he fell towards the water. He landed and then looked around.
Water? He must have a warping Quirk. He held his breath while swimming towards the surface. They came here to kill All Might. I guess it's a good thing he's not in class right now. But where is he? And what was that power my sister did? Maybe it's because her Quirk is so versatile that she's starting to learn more powers now. I hope that she's okay. Someone swam towards him and he stopped, opening his mouth in shock. What the heck?! He saw that it was a shark-like villain heading right towards him.
First catch of the day. Nothing personal, kid, but you gotta die! He opened his mouth, about to chomp into the boy. Izuku squeezed his eyes shut as there was nothing he could do. Suddenly, Tsuyu planted her feet onto the villain and then looked up at him.
"Hey, Midoriya! Bleh!" She extended her tongue to capture him. She knocked the villain with her feet as she swam away with Minoru under her arms. "See ya!" She called out as they were in the Shipwreck Zone of the USJ. The trio had surfaced, and she flung Izuku onto the ship near the slide. She placed him down onto the deck and he grunted, the girl recoiling her tongue back.
"For a frog, you've got some pretty big boobs, Tsu," Minoru murmured next to her, his cheek against her breast. "Perfect floaties." He then snuggled into them and she flinched, blushing as she let out a ribbit. She then flung him onto the boat as well, as his little stunt was definitely not appealing to her. He let out a groan while she climbed up the side of the ship.
"You saved my life, Asui," Izuku turned to her gratefully.
She grabbed the edge and lifted up her head. "I told you to call me Tsu," She corrected her classmate.
Tsuyu Asui. Her Quirk: Frog! It's pretty self-explanatory.
"Right!" Sweat flew from Izuku's head as she climbed onto the ship. "Tsu, Tsu, Tsu. I got it!"
She can basically do anything a frog can!
"Anyway, thanks!" Izuku told the girl.
"This is turning out to be a terrible day of class," Tsuyu murmured a bit tiredly from how today ended up turning out. None of them expected to be in this situation at all.
"Yeah, I keep thinking about what that villain said," Izuku spoke up to her.
"All Might was supposed to be here today, and yet I see no sign of him. There must have been some sort of change in plans," The purple warp man told Class 1-A.
Izuku frowned a little bit. It was something most of the class didn't think twice on, but it definitely was still in his head. And he knew from Izuka's reaction that she wasn't taking that for granted either. "They knew our whole schedule and who would be here. They must've gotten into school files while we were all stuck in the cafeteria. The teachers were busy trying to get the media off school grounds. That means they've been waiting for the perfect time to attack. Just like Todoroki said they were."
"Hey, hold on a second!" Minoru protested to him. "It's not like these guys can really kill All Might. Once he shows up, he'll pound these villains until there's nothing left!" He punched the air repeatedly.
"Think about it though," Tsuyu spoke up next, confusing the shorter boy. "If the villains spent so much time planning this attack, then they probably figured out a way to kill him." Izuku turned to her with wide eyes and a gasp. "And didn't you hear what that smoke guy said? Maybe we should worry more about not getting tortured to death." Minoru stared at her incredibly. "Otherwise, we might not survive long enough to see All Might again." His face then fell while listening to what she was saying. "And even if he does show up, who knows if he'll make it out in one piece?"
Minoru started whimpering and lots of sweat went down his face. "No, the pros are gonna save us, right?" He pointed to Tsuyu as he protested up to Izuku, who was frowning. "Tell Frog-Boobs to shut up!"
However...even if Izuku could assure him...only two out of 21 students knew the real truth about All Might's true form. Which the villains might not know either. He couldn't really say in good conscience that All Might would be okay, since he had no idea the effect the villains would have on him. And he didn't even wanna know what would happen should they succeed if All Might couldn't maintain his form. He was still resting, so he probably wouldn't be able to transform right away once he knew what was going on...
"Ribbit!" Tsuyu turned around towards the water as she could sense something. Two villains were heading right towards the boat, one of them the one Tsuyu saved Izuku from.
"You bastards!" He declared while more villains headed to the boat. "I'll enjoy eating you!"
Minoru screamed in terror at them, as they were completely surrounded. "Bad guys!" He shouted at the top of his lungs.
Izuku furrowed his eyebrows towards the water while Minoru was freaking out. Asui might be right. If they're here for All Might, they may have a way to defeat him. His eyes were shaking as he looked away. They wouldn't have planned this attack if they didn't. But why him out of all of the heroes? Because his very existence discourages villains and evil? Because he's the one and only Symbol of Peace and Justice? He moved his hand away from his mouth while in thought. Actually...it doesn't matter.
The wind blew in All Might's hair as he stared down at the twins. "Young man, young lady. You too can become heroes," He spoke to the two.
"Come on, fanboy," All Might told the exhausted Izuku. "Show me that fightin' spirit! And Izuka, show me that you want to be strong!"
I don't care what their reasons are.
"Welcome, Young Izuku/Izuka," The two projections stated in unison, holding out a hand.
"Congrats on getting in, you two."
I have to focus! Izuku then clenched his hand into a fist.
All Might stepped onto the bus to fully face the crowd from his debut video the twins loved so much. "Fear not, citizens. Hope has arrived," The man spoke up without hesitation. The hero himself had a big grin on his face. "Because I am here!"
I have to face this evil!
The twins continued to watch the video in anticipation.
Head on! Izuku gritted his teeth hard while looking towards his classmates. "If they can beat him..." He started off, the two turning around. They saw that he had a shadow over his eyes. "Then we have to stop whatever it is these bad guys are planning. We have to work together and keep All Might safe. No one at UA knows what's happening," He then looked up in determination; he couldn't depend on All Might right now...but they had to do all they could to prevent them from hurting the hero. If only his classmates knew what All Might had gone through... "This is up to us. Let's be heroes!"
Ice came in from all directions, trapping some villains in their entire bodies except for their heads. "Aren't you embarrassed to lose to a child?" Shoto spoke up while they were in the Landslide Zone. "For god's sake you're adults. Put up a real fight," He challenged them all.
Katsuki yelled while charging forward and knocking a villain down. He was surrounded by Izuka and Eijiro in the Collapse Zone. The girl clenched her bow tightly while staring down the villains.
Momo pulled out a pole from her arm, Kyoka holding a sword. Denki was with them as well in the Mountain Zone.
The Fire Zone had Mashirao as he clenched his fists, adjusting his tail.
Fumikage and Koji stood back to back in the Squall Zone, surrounded by villains.
Ochaco, Mezo, Tenya, and Mina were with Thirteen while still facing the warp man. The girls looked back in concern as Rikido and Hanta were there as well.
Mr. Aizawa flung his scarf, knocking a villain onto his back. The leader watched from in front of the fountain, the creature with the brain next to him. The leader stopped scratching his face and stepped forward.
Izuku, Tsuyu, and Minoru looked towards all the villains in the water. The latter was still shaking like a leaf as the class all had to face these villains...without any help from any other heroes. This was their time to show off what they could do against real evil.
"The number you have dialed is not in service, or has been temporarily disconnected. Please check the number, then try again," All Might heard from his phone, as he was still sitting in the teacher's lounge back at UA. He had tried calling Mr. Aizawa and Thirteen, but there hadn't been an answer back from either of them. "Thank you," He hung up with a sigh.
"Can't get through to Thirteen or Aizawa," He murmured in thought. "Then again, they are teaching. Unlike me." However, he knew that Aizawa wouldn't care and just answer the phone, but he didn't focus on that. "I'm neglecting my duties because I spent the entire morning commute being heroic. An amateur move. What was I thinking? Maybe I should just show up and say something inspiring at the end. Yeah, get a good ten minutes out of my hero form."
Plus...he did want to see how the twins were doing in class. He hadn't heard from them since they had informed him what happened with Katsuki after combat class. Izuka herself still had a lot to learn with her Quirk. And ten minutes was better than not showing up at all. His muscle form appeared and he stood up with a big smile.
"Time to join my students-" Blood came from his mouth and the door opened.
"Hold your horses!" Someone spoke up and he turned towards who just entered.
"Hello Nezu sir!" Principal Nezu was a short animal creature.
"That's me!" He smiled while raising a hand. "The one who could be a mouse, or a dog, or a bear, though the only important thing is...I'm the principal!" He gave a big smile. All Might scooted towards him while bent down to the principal's level.
"Your fur looks especially well groomed and glossy today, sir," He complimented as the principal stepped forward.
"The secret is keratin. I'm not sure that humans can get this kind of lustrous shine. But we can talk about grooming later," He pulled out a tablet, which was advertising All Might's heroic deeds before he arrived at the school today. "Look at the news! Shall I read it to you? It says you resolved three incidents in just one hour!" All Might flinched in alarm and Principal Nezu let out a small sigh. "The fault mainly belongs to the ruffians who still cause trouble in this city despite you being here. But you also have to learn not to react every time you hear of an incident. You haven't changed in all these years. You've always been proactive. Only now, your heroism must be limited due to your injury. Plus, you've also got the added work of training One for All's successor," He stepped past the man, hands behind his back. "You insist on remaining the Symbol of Peace, and the only way you can justify staying out of the spotlight is by teaching."
As he was talking, smoke came from All Might's body. Principal Nezu then glanced back with a smile. "That's why I gave you this job. Oh dear, you're smoking, that can't be good." All Might reverted back to his human form seconds later, and he let out a groan. Like Recovery Girl, Principal Nezu was also aware of the truth behind One for All. "It looks like you need to stay here in the lounge and relax a little while longer."
All Might watched as the principal heaved himself up onto the couch right across from him. "The other teachers will understand. They're more than capable," He then crawled on all fours. "But now that you are a teacher here, All Might, I really do wish you'd prioritize your students over your hero work." All Might came in a little closer to the table, listening attentively. "They deserve it. After all, there are plenty of other hero agencies working throughout the city."
"Yeah, you're right, principal," All Might sighed in defeat. "So I was gonna head over to the USJ to make an appearance now, actually, if you don't mind." The principal poured himself a cup of tea.
"Even if you went now, you'd have to return almost right away," Principal Nezu pointed out to him. "So you might as well stick around and listen to some of my teaching philosophies. They could prove..." As he talked, All Might sweat-dropped staring at him.
Great. This is turning into a lecture...
He groaned a little as Principal Nezu moved a cup of tea towards him. "Here, drink up!" All Might then sweated nervously looking at the principal calmly drinking.
He's always so long-winded whenever there's tea involved. He glanced away while in thought. And I'm still a little concerned that I couldn't get in touch with Thirteen or Aizawa.
"Let's start by discussing combat pedagogy as viewed through the lens of ethical Quirk use," Principal Nezu started off.
"You know, you haven't changed much all these years either, sir," All Might commented towards him.
Meanwhile, back at the USJ, Mezo was using his limbs to scope the area. He was using two eyes and two ears from his body to scope behind him. "Shoji," Tenya spoke up to him; Mezo was one of the few students in the class whose Quirks were very helpful in recon. That would be him, Kyoka, Koji, Toru, and Izuka herself. That is, once she gained an understanding of how to do so... "Got them? Anything? Where is everyone?" He had a very worried look on his face as he had no idea what his classmates were going through currently.
"They've been scattered across the facility," Mezo reported to him, Mina, Ochaco, Rikido, and Hanta. "But our classmates are still here."
The others all sighed in relief to hear it. They and Thirteen looked up ahead towards the warp man. "What do we do?" Hanta wondered as the villain was still blocking their path. "The guy's not affected by physical attacks and can apparently teleport stuff."
Thirteen paused and then glanced behind her. "Class rep," She spoke up, getting his attention.
"Yes?" He asked her immediately.
"I have a job for you. Run to the school and tell the faculty what's going on here," The teacher ordered, to his shock as he let out a grunt. "The alarms aren't sounding, and our phones and radios are useless right now. One of these villains must be to blame. Even though Eraser Head is canceling people's Quirks left and right, we're still completely sealed off from the outside world. Likely, whoever is causing this interference hid as soon as they warped into the USJ. They could be anywhere. Impossible to hunt down." She watched as the purple warp villain reformed back into his body. "It'll be faster for you to run and get help than for us to find whoever's jamming everything."
"Yes, but-" He gritted his teeth; he couldn't just leave all of his classmates behind to deal with this. He didn't get along with every single one of them such as Katsuki, but he still cared about their well-being. "It would be disgraceful for me to leave you all behind!"
"Go, Emergency Exit," Rikido urged him while stepping forward. "There are lots of alarms outside," He then took a brave stance. "That's why they're keeping all of us trapped inside the USJ, right?"
Hanta then stepped up by his side. "As long as you can get outside, they won't follow. Blow this stupid mist away with those Engine Legs!"
"Use your Quirk to save others," Thirteen reminded the class rep. "Be a real hero!"
He then let out a sharp gasp, recoiling back a little. After hearing that...he was almost certain that he had to do this. Not just to be a hero, but to save his class. Plus...it did tie into what the teacher told them earlier before all of this happened. Mezo stepped forward in silence.
"I can help you out!" Ochaco offered and Tenya turned to her. "Just like I did when I floated you in the cafeteria!" She smiled while pumping her fists. Mina nodded in agreement with a small smile. "Okay? No prob!" He glanced at everyone surrounding him to help protect him so he could get outside safely. "Please, class rep. Do it!"
His eyes shook at their determination to risk their lives against someone they couldn't win against...just so he could succeed. He then gained confidence as his boosters appeared from his calves. He then prepared himself, his engines heating up.
"Even if this is your only option, are you really foolish enough to strategize in front of your enemy?" The purple warp man shot a bunch of energy towards them.
"It won't matter if you know what we're planning or not when I'm done with you!" Thirteen pointed one of her fingers towards the villain, using her Quirk against him. "Black Hole!" Her finger started to suck up the purple energy like a cyclone.
Minoru gasped as he, Izuku, and Tsuyu were still surrounded by villains on the ship in the Shipwreck Zone. "Uh, what do you mean fight? Are you crazy?!" He exclaimed at her in disbelief. "These guys might be able to kill All Might, and you think we can take them?! Did you hit your head when we got warped here?!" Tsuyu and Izuku looked up ahead, the latter lost in thought as he rubbed his chin. Minoru was letting out streams of tears watching them from behind. "The best plan is for us to just wait for a real pro from UA to come and save us!"
"Think about it," Izuku spoke up while looking towards the water. For some strange reason, the villains weren't attacking them...yet. It could've been part of their strategy though. "Those villains down there clearly have an advantage in the water, and assume that's where we'll fight."
"Are you even listening?!" Minoru screeched at him.
"If that's the case, they must've known what was inside the USJ before they warped in," Tsuyu pointed out, also seeming to ignore Minoru.
"Yeah," Izuku agreed with her. "But for a group with such careful planning, there's one thing that really sticks out to me, something that just doesn't add up," He looked at the green-haired girl in thought. "They sent you here, Asui-" He let out an embarrassed gasp as he realized that she would correct him again about using Asui instead of Tsu. She turned to him and he blushed a bit, noticing him shaking. "Um-whoops, I meant Tsu! Yeah, they warped you to the shipwreck zone."
"That kinda fell apart on you, didn't it?" Tsuyu noticed while staring at him. She tended to be blunt compared to the other girls in class. And she never panicked either, unlike some of her classmates...
"A little bit," He admitted to his classmate.
"But why does it matter that she's here?!" Minoru screeched as he didn't understand the point Izuku was getting at.
Izuku flinched as he remembered what he was trying to say. "Yeah, okay, right. It means the villains probably have no idea what our Quirks are!"
"Uh, ribbit," Tsuyu blinked as she agreed with him. Her Quirk was Frog, and so...it wouldn't make sense to have her in the shipwreck zone. Because that gave her an advantage here as well if they knew any of the Quirks from Class 1-A. "You've got a point," She then looked over to the Fire Zone not too far from where they were. "If they knew I was a frog, they would've sent me into that fire zone over there instead of somewhere full of water."
"They probably separated us because they didn't know what we could do, and planned to overpower us once we were in smaller groups," He kept his eyes on the villains while Minoru was shaking and sweating. "Easier to pick us off one by one. We can use that to our advantage. They don't know what our Quirks are. So for all they know, the three of us could be super powerful." He could see that the villains were eyeing them closely, as if waiting for something. "Look, none of them are trying to climb into the boat. That proves they're a little unsure."
If they weren't wary of their Quirks, they would've attacked the boat already. So they might just be trying to see if any of them would show a Quirk so they could do something about it.
"But that means they're not going to underestimate us, either. They're being smart and playing it safe...for now," Izuku stated; he knew that at least one of them would get impatient and attack the boat at some point. Especially if they wanted All Might to be here, given how fast he usually reacted when someone was in danger.
"So let's talk Quirks," Tsuyu spoke up as they sat in the boat. "I'll go first if you want. Obviously, I can jump high and cling to pretty much any wall. And of course there's my tongue. I can stick it out about 20 meters. Oh yeah, and I can spit out my stomach so I can clean it. That's not really useful. Finally, I secrete a toxic mucus. It just stings a bit."
Minoru gasped sharply while blushing towards her. He was...having dirty thoughts, to say the least. Secrete mucus?
"We can probably only use my jumping and my tongue here," Tsuyu continued while Minoru was shaking.
"Mucus..."
"Forget about the last things," Tsuyu waved off the stomach spitting and the mucus.
"I figured you were powerful, but that's crazy," Izuku then looked at his hand. "I'm strong. I have my super strength, but it comes at a price." The twins both flew towards the robot, gritting their teeth as they both attacked. "Once I use my power, I'm pretty much out of commission." Izuka's shooting star hit the robot just as Izuku punched it with so much power that it caused a dent, and the robot was pushed back far. "It's a double-edged sword until I can control it."
"And Mido doesn't share this power, right?" Tsuyu stared at him and he nodded yes.
"Yeah, her power doesn't have the same effect as mine. It would've been really useful if she were here right now with that new power of hers..." He murmured, silently hoping his sister was okay. Izuka pressed two fingers together, her Quirk powering up as her hair flew around thanks to the shooting star. She then flicked her ammo with her forefinger, giving her enough power to shoot the ball into the air. "And since she can use both her weapon and her hands to fire her shooting stars, she would've made a great offense and support at the same time." Izuka jumped up above her classmates, to the shock of her brother. She then gasped sharply and kneeled to the ground, a large yellow star appearing in front of the three like a shield to hold the energy back.
There's no way of knowing where she is or if she's realized the advantage we might all have. Still...I'm sure she'll be fine. She's just as strong as everyone else when she focuses her power. So I can't worry so much when she doesn't need it.
"You really admire your big sister, huh?" Tsuyu commented and he nodded with a small smile.
"Yeah. I know she's okay," Izuku clenched a fist. Just like with All Might, he had to believe that Izuka would survive this attack. "Even when she's scared...she always faces something head on. Even if she doesn't have to."
Minoru removed one of his purple balls from his head. "I've got these sticky balls," He then placed it against the boat and it stuck. "Their strength varies. Depending on how I'm feeling, they might stick to something a whole day," He then started bouncing it. "They grow back as fast as I pull 'em off. But I'll bleed if I use too many. Oh, and they don't stick to me. I just bounce right off 'em."
Tsuyu and Izuku stared at him in silence. He stared right back at them as none of them commented. Minoru's Quirk was...interesting to say the least. The shorter boy then whimpered with tears in his eyes. He then started to bawl, to the awkwardness of Izuku. "Don't look at me like that! This is why I said we should wait for the real heroes! My Quirk is totally unfit for battle and we're gonna die!"
"No, you have an incredible power!" Izuku defended quickly, waving his hands while trying to calm Minoru down. "Really! We just have to figure out how to use it!"
Suddenly a hand made out of water came crashing down to split the ship in half. Izuku yelped while trying to keep his balance. "I'm starting to get bored!" One of the villains called out from down below. "Let's get the show on the road!"
"That's a great power," Tsuyu remarked as the ship started to sink. "Now the ship's sinking."
Minoru cried while running to the edge of the ship. He continued to bawl while tossing the balls off of his head towards the villains.
"Mineta, don't freak out!" Izuku held out a hand. Minoru watched them land in the water and he pointed at them. "You gotta calm down!" He then looked over the edge nervously. "They'll guess your Quirk!" He blinked as one of them was examining the balls.
"What the hell are these things?" He waved them away from his body.
Wait...they're afraid to touch them. Izuku let out a quiet gasp once he noticed this. He then started to form an idea.
"The boat will be fully submerged in less than a minute," One of the villains stated as they watched the sinking ship. "And once they're in the water, they don't stand a chance against us."
Minoru yelped as he was flung backwards, his back hitting the ship. "We're fish food!" He shouted with sweat dripping down his face.
Tsuyu then stared at him curiously. "So, Mineta, are you really sure the hero thing is right for you?" She asked questionably, wondering why he even wanted to enroll if he was going to freak out at every situation.
"Shut up!" He shouted in protest to the girl. "It's weirder not to be scared right now! We just got outta junior high a little while ago! I didn't think I'd be facing death a few days after starting UA! I can't believe I'm gonna die without ever getting to touch Yaoyorozu or Mido's boobs!"
"Uhh..." Izuku stared at him awkwardly, not knowing if he should be concerned about that dream or not. "Mineta...you're talking about my sister," He gave a deadpan look. Maybe this had something to do with why Katsuki had attacked Minoru twice already before they even got here. Both times when Izuka was around noticeably. But he couldn't dwell on that too long, they had other priorities in order—mostly. "Listen up," He regained focus while Minoru was still wailing, staring towards the villains. "An enemy that's certain of their victory is bound to make a mistake. All Might said something along those lines in a TV interview a while back."
Minoru leaned against the ship, tears flowing down his face and snot from his nose staring at his classmate. "What does that mean?!" He screeched, gasping sharply as he saw Izuku clenching a fist. As if the boy was almost...afraid of the possible outcome faced in front of them.
"Now's our chance. We can beat them!" He then turned around to his classmates, who both gasped from his declaration.
One of the villains laughed as they looked up ahead. "Poor babies. Sound like they're crying for their mommies up there."
"Hey, now," A villain next to him warned. "Don't forget, Shigaraki told us to keep our guards up. Especially that short girl with the dopey-looking face and freckles," And by short girl, he meant Izuka. "We can't judge 'em by how old they are, but by their Quirks...they could do anything," He then looked back towards the ship. "Of course, we'll definitely have an advantage in the water, so I'm not exactly worried for us," He used the water to make it into a fist, as that was his Quirk.
Izuku planted a foot on the edge and let out a yell. "You can't be serious," Minoru protested behind him, but he didn't listen. Come on...act like Kacchan would. "Midoriya, what are you-" The boy gasped as he and Tsuyu watched Izuku jumped off the ship.
"Now die!" He declared just like how Katsuki would.
"Stupid move, kid," The villain grinned while raising his hand. Izuku grabbed his left wrist, preparing to flick a finger from his left hand. He gritted his teeth while assessing the situation. Even if I use a smash, I can't get them all at once when they're in a circle like that. Besides, there are still other enemies outside of the shipwreck zone, so I can't sacrifice my arm just yet.
Izuku continued heading for the water. "After he hits the water, he's mine!" One of the villains shouted as Izuku had a determined and fierce look in his eyes.
Focus. Remember the image of the egg not exploding! Red veins appeared from his hand as he powered up. Tsuyu was holding onto Minoru, crouched down. He was still terrified for his life.
"Ready, Mineta?" She asked him, who didn't answer as he just watched Izuku.
Even though he's as scared as I am...even though he's shaking...he's still going through with this. Not just for him...but for his sister too. He tried to calm his breathing as he still felt like he was gonna die today.
"Take this!" Izuku shouted angrily at the villains. "Delaware...Smash!" He then fired off a huge wind gust into the water, causing it to expand. The villains all screamed as they couldn't move away in time from the huge wave that followed. Izuku grunted while holding his arm. "TSU! MINETA, NOW!" He yelled at his classmates.
Tsuyu jumped into the sky while holding Minoru, extending her tongue towards Izuku's waist. She then spun around to get them all away from the area. The boy examined his fingers as two of them were now broken. It was still better than his whole arm or hand, though.
Minoru clutched his shaking fists. What the heck, Midoriya? How do you do it? You're acting so cool, and I'm not helping at all. He reached up to his head, Tsuyu glancing down at him. He then yelled while throwing more balls towards the water. "Take this, you villains! You can eat my sticky balls!"
They landed in the water, filling the wave with them. "What's goin' on?!"
"I'm getting dragged in!" Minoru's balls started sticking to their bodies. And they were unable to get them off, no matter how much they tried.
"Did these come from that kid?"
"I can't get 'em offa me!"
They started heading towards the whirlpool that formed between them thanks to Izuku's power. "If a strong force is applied to water's surface, the water will be pushed away," Izuku stated while gritting his teeth. "And then come rushing right back to the middle!"
They all watched the villains struggling as they all got sucked into the middle. "Move!"
"Get off me!"
The villains struggled, but were unable to move because Minoru's balls allowed them to be stuck together like glue. "I'm stuck!"
"You're gonna drown me!"
A huge splash occurred and Tsuyu flew away from it, carrying her classmates. "We rounded 'em all up," She then looked up ahead. "Not too shabby. You guys are amazing. Both of you." Izuku was still clutching his arm while Minoru was shedding tears of relief. There was a small trickle of blood coming from the top of his head. He couldn't believe what just happened...they had managed to defeat them all on their own. "I guess we passed the shipwreck zone."
