sword dragon and the phoenix -chapter 9 – the perv devil and the punk devil
as stated before this will formally start the highschool dxd arc
this chapter will cover episodes 1 -2 of the first season of dxd
at a later point in this story it will crossover with other characters in reaper of rome but I will get to that later on
I will be adding other crossover characters to Ravel's peerage with the next added this chapter
There will be a few pov shifts
I changed some plans from what I made earlier but will get into that later.
Shirou pov
Since the end of the holy grail war four months had passed. Jan and Artoria were caught up enough to start high school but still had stuff to learn and Mordred and Ravel promised to teach the stuff they needed along the way. Mordred was shockingly good at many things I never expected she could be. The girl brought up the fact she was able to run Camelot for a few years. She knew enough to even write up some legal documents if need be. Other issues came in the form of the movies Mordred watched and the hangups they brought about with Jan having developed a few weird complexes I was told about but not made fully aware of the context. I was sure part of that was Mordred's playful side.
Both Artoria and Mordred chose to wear the girls' uniforms while Jan chose the boys' uniform, and I figured the girl was so sheltered and tomboyish she didn't want to risk people seeing her panties on any level. The student council agreed to let her do it due to the fact there was at least one boy that chose to wear a girl's uniform. Halsin would also be their homeroom teacher since he was their father at least on paper.
After returning to Kou, I was formally brought into the devil fold and met both Rias' and Sona's peerages. Rais at this point still had a peerage with only a single knight, a single Bishop that never really got out much, a rook in the same class as Ravel and a queen that was a third year along with her. but she was much closer to a complete set. While Ravel's peerage was mostly missing pawns. I figured it would be soon enough that either Ravel or I would run into suitable pawn candidates soon enough.
Nobody was sure about my sacred gear besides the fact it was powerful and the dragon within only told me to refer to him as grand master of flowers for now. We would train in my mindscape from time to time and try to master the powers of my armor and other gifts but the power I had was best to us in combat when I had a enemy that could challenge me. The issue was Jan still had mastering of her own before she would fight me again and neither Mordred nor Artoria nor Ravel really wanted to or could put up a fight enough to push me to my limits. Even Rais and Sona's peerages were confident enough to fight me as they were now. so, I would just train with the dragon in human form as I waited for the enemy or friend that could test me.
Issei pov
It was a few days into the start of my second year that my friends and I talked about our failures in love and the new girls at our school. The first major new girl was the transfer student Kaoru Sakurazuka. She was in class b while I was in class a. said girl seemed like a fiery red head that had may have had a boyfriend but was still looking for other guys to go after. But also seemed like the type that was tomboy but choosy with the guys she picked. The other thing, we talked about was being some of the few males in a school with mostly females but with a little competition. The only ones we really knew of were the pretty boy Yuto and the fake janitor Shirou. For the most part of our first year Shirou was gone, but we still couldn't score. The good part was the fact the two other boys seemed to have little interest in girls for the most part.
But this year Shirou seemed to have four girls that would leave school with him, and I figured out why he didn't go for many girls this year and that was due to the fact Shirou seemed to have a type with the four girls, blond and underclassmen. Among those girls were triplet daughters of the legendary bear sensei Halsin Emiya, so they were his cousins, their names were Mordred Emiya, Jan Emiya and Artoria Emiya. Then the other blond girl seemed to have a lot of affection towards Shirou and had blond twin tail hair that ended in ringlets and her name was Ravel Phenix. It seemed like Ravel was the closest to Shirou, then Artoria then Mordred with Jan still Leary of him. but Shirou seemed to have affection towards each girl on some level.
After that we talked about the sizes of girls as we peeked but soon learned that the new freshmen girls didn't like being, but the girl I really liked was the fiery older younger haired red-haired girl named Rias Gregory. That girl had a bust that was just right for me and a body that matched as well. but it was that day after school my life changed as I got asked by a girl on a date. Her name was Yuma, and the date seemed to go well. at least until she changed into a black bird winged dominatrix and said, "it's time to die." Then threw a strange spear into my gut and said, "you were too much a risk to us." as she flew off and left me dying.
It was as if I seemed to die. I thought of Rias. Then seemed to see her show up and sprout batwings out of her back. She seemed to heal me and ask me to now live for her as I passed out. The next thing I knew I woke up in my bed and on going to school my friends had no idea who Yuma was. It was after that I went home to watch naughty anime DVDs while my body started to feel weird.
Shirou pov
It was after school, that both Rais and Ravel announced that, each reincarnated a human as a devil. Rais told us she recruited Issei Hyoudou and brought up the fact she had to use all eight of her pawns to revive him. That fact told me, he had potential on the same level as I did. It was then the dragon within me said "the boy likely has a higher-level dragon sacred gear."
It was after that Ravel told the group "I revived a boy that was hit by a car and had to pull his soul back into his body. he took two pawns and seems to have possible Yokai lineage. I can't say how far back." it wasn't that long that Rias got a phone call and said to Ravel "that was just my older brother, and you made a mistake and revived a boy meant to join the Japanese Buddhist fact. Now will have to work out a deal with them or risk losing your new pawn. His name was Yusuke Urameshi correct?" she replied "yes." And then Mordred spoke up and said, "bring me with you to the meeting point and I can work out a proper legally binding contract so we can keep this boy and get some extra cash into our accounts." Then Ravel told Halsin and I "go to the boy's house and talk his mother into sending him to the middle school division of Kou, I also am having you get him up to speed on what it means to be a devil." I then headed out with Halsin in his car and as we prepared to visit the mother of this Yusuke boy and Ravel teleported with Mordred to a place to meet with the Shinto faction leadership. It was before I left that Rais also teleported out and said, "it may have not been the best idea to leave my new charge alone so long."
Issei pov
It was while the man attacked me with a spear of light, that Rias came to save me as the pain made me pass out. Then the next morning, I woke up naked with a certain red-haired girl in my bed just as naked as I was. she then told me "I am a devil, and you are one as well now, I sorry I had to save you so suddenly, I didn't think a fallen would attack again so soon, someone must be stirring them up." Before Rias could explain more, my mom came in and told me to get ready for school.
With that Rias told me, we should get ready for school, and I will explain everything to you after the school day ends. But for now, I healed the wound you took from that fallen and if we did have sex, it would be much messier, or so I am told. I am still a virgin, but one of my friends informed me about the process and aftermath. It was then after getting dressed, Rias and I eat breakfast and headed to school, and as we parted in the school, she said "I will send someone to pick you up a little later. Just wait in class after school until I do."
Shirou pov
It didn't take very much for Halsin and I to convince Yusuke's mother to let him go to Kou and free room and board, sweeten the deal. I knew he would live at my house as we would have to figure out in what room to put him up as Mordred and Ravel worked out the contract to keep him in the peerage. it was soon after that Yusuke arrived home and was informed and wasn't exactly happy that he would have to leave home and go to a preppy school as he called it. but I told him, "When we get to the place you will live while attending Kou middle school, I will give you the chance to get out of all this. You will just have to defeat me in a fight." With that he was eager to prove himself and get to live his life as normal.
Yusuke pov
I wasn't happy with having to leave with these two guys, a large well-muscled tan guy that had a hood on and red haired boy that was only a few years older than I was, to a strange new city, but with the promise of good food, lots of cute girls and what was a nicer place to live and a chance to get out of all this with one fight, I was game to see at the very least. What I never expected was to be driven in a bear shaped car to a mansion. Then at said mansion be greeted by two cute blond foreign girls that looked like twins. Then after they took my bag to be brought to a dojo on the ground of said mansion.
As the larger man left, the older boy brought me to the dojo and then showed me a wall full of wooden weapons as he said, "pick your weapon and we can fight." but I said to the boy "I will beat your ass bared handed." In turn Shirou picked up a set of wooden one hand swords, after that, a blond girl with a baseball hat and a patch over her eye came in and Shirou said to her "Jan you watch and judge him." she then asked "so, is this guy lady Ravel's pawn?" I replied "yes, please give us a signal to start." She soon did and I charged to an opening and managed to get a single punch in, but after I did Shirou smacked me with both swords and said, "you are good enough to pierce my opening, I guess it's time I take things up a notch." With that, lines seemed to show through the red-haired boy's clothes as he charged through and beat me until I passed out. After a few hours, I woke up in a room with a bowl of food in front of me and a not saying, "you did well enough on your first test, after school tomorrow we will get into some more training and your main duties as part of the peerage."
Issei pov
It was at the end of the day, that Kiba came to pick me up and take me to a room to see a white-haired girl eating food. I knew of the girl but not her name. I was soon greeted by a busty girl with black hair named Akeno and soon Rias. Then she soon revealed to me "the club is completely made of devil, my peerage and Ravel Phenix peerage. but you will meet the other peerage later, they are breaking in their newest member. Just be happy you don't need the same level of discipline mister Urameshi does." It was after that Rias started to explain about the world of the supernatural, I was part of and that we devils were in a constant three-way war between devils, angels and fallen angels. As well as an uneasy peace between many of the other active factions. But I can get into those another day. Namely when Ravel's peerage can show up again."
After that, she told me about Yuma and the fact that said girl was a fallen angel that was sent to kill me. Then she revealed, I was killed over a power within me know as a sacred gear, and she revived me as her devil servant. Then she revealed, the only other person in the school that has a level of potential as you are Shirou Emiya. She then revealed the fact devils gain prestige by making pacts with human and I gained enough, I could get a set of my own servants.
I then tried to use a teleport circle to do some pacts as part of the peerage and had to help a human move his stuff. But on the way back I was greeted by another way angel. but I managed to summon the power of my sacred gear to scare said fallen off at the last minute.
After that, Rias came to greet me and make sure I was okay and also congratulate my awakening on my gear. I soon left for home to sleep and then returned home and woke up for school again. but as on the way to school, I ran into a blond girl in a nun outfit.
Chapter end
Next chapter will have issei and Yusuke learn what it means to be a devil, while Yusuke learns the deal made over his soul
But first reaper of Rome will take a break while I develop a new story about goku and bulma closer in age and closer in a romantic sense as bulma learns she may be just as special as goku
