A/N: With the first team made, let's see what the second portal has in store!

Also, a revision has been made to the intro chapter. Mega Man and Roll will be brought in later in the season as originally planned. I found an error in the numbering in the cast that made me think I was missing a contestant so I brought them in earlier than expected. This is now no longer the case.

Also, I'm going to close the poll for favorite challenges in Multiverse Edition. I wanted to let the poll run for a while to let people across the different sites get a chance to vote since I know not everyone read that season or finished it. I think now's a good time to close it. If a returning challenge was in the top ten, you'll see its rank before the episode starts.

As the contestants came through the portal, they were in a park. Swing sets were seen along with a slide and a seesaw off in the distance.

"Guess you could say this challenge is going to be a walk in the park." Bren said.

"Booooo!" Todd said, giving a thumbs down as well.

As they continued walking through the park, Dewey walked up to Bren.

"Hey, if it means anything, I liked it." Dewey said.

"Thanks. I try." Bren said.

"Doesn't look like the place for a challenge. Why are we here?" Jotaro said.

"Usually, this is the part of the show when Chris will explain everything, so don't worry." Riley said.

The portal closed a few seconds later.

"You were saying?" Sly said.

"Okay, well, maybe someone else will explain the challenge to us." Riley said.

A couple of seconds later, three girls appeared, rolling in on roller skates with bags in their hands.

One of them had long red-purple hair down to her waist in two pigtails with a short fringe in the front. She wore red glasses with a yellow t-shirt and pink short shorts with a rainbow belt on them.

The second had pink messy hair with a hairclip in it and wore an orange hoodie and green short shorts with matching skates.

The third, who was a young adult in her early 20s and the oldest out of the three, had brownish, red hair and wore a long-sleeved cream-colored shirt with blue jeans.

"Looks like you were right." Isagi said.

"Hey everyone. We apologize for being a little late." The oldest one said. "I'm Rika Noyamano. These two are my younger sisters Ringo and Mikan."

"Hi!" Ringo said, waving.

"What's up?" Mikan said, hands on her hips after she put the two bags she was carrying down.

"Salutations!" Penny said, greeting herself.

"No worries. I suppose you are the ones that will be hosting and explaining what we will be doing today?" Sebastian asked.

"Yep, that's exactly right." Mikan said before someone was heard yawning. She found the source and pulled his leg as she and Rika caught him in a wrestling move.

"Wake your a[censored] up! And pay attention!" Mikan said. The culprit was Aomine.

"Okay! Okay! I'll pay attention! I was just yawning alright?" Aomine said.

"Bet that woke you up." Mikan said, standing up.

"Jeez, I didn't even do anything wrong. Not my fault I was bored out of my mind." Aomine said, standing back up.

"Bored or not, it's rude. You didn't even bother covering your mouth." Midorima said, skateboard still in his left hand.

"Wait, you still have that skateboard? Why?" Ben asked.

"I told you already it's my lucky item. I never go anywhere without having it with me." Midorima said.

"There's no way you'd actually carry that everywhere you go." Octavia said.

"Of course I would. That applies to every lucky item no matter what it is." Midorima said.

"That….. is some pretty crazy dedication. I respect it." Luz said.

"So you'd carry it to the bathroom too?" Louie asked.

"What? Absolutely not." Midorima said.

"Well, Octavia said everywhere and you said yes, so….." Louie said.

"I said everywhere but I didn't mean the bathroom. That's disgusting." Octavia said.

"I'm not repeating myself." Midorima said.

"Look, he doesn't put the items in the bathroom. We get it. I'm ready to get this challenge started." Maki said.

"That's good to hear." Ringo said before noticing Marinette and recognizing her from the Castle of Destiny challenge in Multiverse Edition. "Hey!" She said, waving to her with Marinette waving back.

"And unless you want to end up like him, that's exactly what you better be doing!" Mikan warned, referring to Aomine.

"Don't worry, we're all ears." Ruby R. said.

"What you'll be doing today is in these bags." Ringo said before three took out the items she was referring to. They were pairs of roller skates.

"So, we're going to be roller skating?" Octavia asked.

"Sounds fun." Luz said.

"That's exactly right." Rika said.

"But don't get too cocky! I see that look on your face!" Mikan said to Aomine.

"Why do you have to keep singling me out!?" Aomine said. "I don't see you saying anything to the guy with helmet! He could be sleep in there!" He said, referring to Din.

"I'm pretty sure he's not sleep." Sophie said, with Din looking at Aomine after he said that.

"The guy literally only talked once here. For all we know he could be a robot or something." Aomine said.

"So what if he is?" Isagi asked. "What's your point here? He hasn't talked much either." Isagi said, referring to Ryoma Echizen.

"Just don't have much to really say." Ryoma said.

"Least he's honest." Rex said.

"Maki has the right idea. Could we please get on with the challenge?" Eliza asked.

"Mikan's right. Despite what they look like, these aren't your normal skates." Rika said.

"These are Air Trecks or ATs for short. Fully automated roller skates." Ringo said.

"But don't get fooled by the fact that they're automated. You still have to actually put in the work to use them." Rika said.

"Then what's the point of them being automated then?" Louie asked.

"Yeah, isn't the point of making stuff automated so we have to do less work?" Todd asked.

"But wait, if that's the case, roller skating would kinda suck, right?" Rex said.

"I've used these before. If anything, they help you do things you'd never think of doing when it comes to roller skating." Marinette said.

"No kidding. Those things are the reason she wasn't killed in that last challenge with the fire tornado." Weiss said.

"Wait did you say fire tornado!?" Huey D. asked.

"Long story." Marinette said.

"Marinette hit the nail on the head. Get enough hangtime with them and it'll feel like you're literally flying. Of course, that's not all you could do with them. The more experience you get with using them, the more creative you can get with them for some incredible moves and tricks." Ringo said.

"Sounds like something Bentley would invent. Gonna have to use 'em for myself though." Sly said.

"Not to worry. You get to use them now!" Ringo said. "You can choose whichever pair you want."

Everyone went to get a pair of skates. Some of them were fine. Others, not so much.

"Looks like we got a problem." Skipper said.

Ringo looked in Skipper's direction and saw exactly what he meant.

"Oh." Ringo said.

"That's gonna be a problem." Mikan said.

"Hmm…" Ringo said, thinking.

"Uh…" Aomine said before realizing he couldn't fit any of them. "Yeah, this isn't gonna work."

"At least the penguin makes sense but how come you can't fit any!?" Mikan said to him.

"Look, I can't help if my feet are big!" Aomine said.

Mikan put him in a submission hold. "You're lying!"

"I'm not!" Aomine said.

"Mikan, let him go. He might actually be telling the truth. Let him try on a few pairs in front of you." Rika said.

"Jeez, what is up with you? If I didn't know any better you were doing this just to pick on me." Aomine said to Mikan as he put on a pair.

"Just shut up and put on the ATs." Mikan said.

"They're already on." Aomine said. "Maybe if you'd stop yelling you'd notice." He said under his breath.

"WHAT WAS THAT PUNK? SPEAK UP!" Mikan said, grabbing him again as his face was on the ground.

"I think it's safe to say she hates him." Bren said.

As she grabs his leg, she notices the ATs and how the skates were stretching.

"Huh. So you were telling the truth." She said before standing up and helping him up. "Sorry."

"I was trying to tell you that earlier." Aomine said.

"Here. Try these. These are the biggest ones we've got." Mikan said as she hands him another pair.

After taking them, he puts them on, but those didn't fit either.

"Nope." Aomine said.

"I've got nothing for you then." Mikan said, shrugging before noticing the skateboard Midorima had.

"Hey, why don't you use his skateboard?" She suggested.

"Absolutely not." Midorima said.

"You've got a pair already. He needs something to ride with." Mikan said.

"This is my lucky item. It is not for riding. Besides, Aomine is one of the last people I'd trust my items with." Midorima said.

"Dude, it's a skateboard. Last time I checked, that's exactly what they're for." Ben said.

"Just give me the damn skateboard!" Aomine said, trying to get it out of his hands.

"No!" Midorima said, trying to keep it away.

Using his cane and putting the basics of his thief skills on display, Sly takes the skateboard out of his hands.

"Give that back!" Midorima said.

"It's a skateboard. Just get another one." Sly said, handing Aomine the skateboard.

"Thanks." Aomine said.

"Perhaps I can help put your fears at ease. Ringo, what exactly will we be doing with these ATs?" Sebastian asked.

"It's simple really. You'll be using them to race through the city. You know you've reached the end once you get to the portal. But first, you'll need to practice using them first." Ringo said.

"Well then, it looks like it'll be a simple race. You have nothing to worry about." Sebastian said to Midorima.

"Knowing Chris, this is going to be anything but simple." Courtney said.

"If you're worried about obstacles, the most you'll see is whatever's on the streets. There won't be any surprises." Ringo said.

"I'll have to see it to believe it." Heather said.

"You callin' us liars?" Mikan asked.

"No! Of course not!" Heather said, changing her tune to avoid getting the same treatment that Aomine got.

"Okay. Let's get started with the practice, shall we?" Rika said.

"We'll start with something simple. Walking." Ringo said before putting her hands out. "Do as I do. Hands out, and walk."

Todd was the first one to start laughing.

"Quit laughing and pay attention!" Mikan said.

"Yes ma'am!" Todd said, saluting.

"I understand training, but are you sure this is where we should be starting? We already know how to walk." Yang said.

"Yes you've learned how to walk but when it comes to ATs, it's completely different." Ringo said before Huey D. was the first one to fall with Razer being the second. Some of the others, like Riley and Sophie were also having difficulty keeping their balance as well. Everyone except Bachira and Marinette, even though the latter was still struggling a little due to inexperience. But it was a lot less compared to most of the others.

"Yeah. I think I found out firsthand." He said.

"I don't get it. Why is this so hard?" Reimu asked, getting frustrated as she kept falling after a few seconds each time.

"It's because you're using muscles you don't normally use." Ringo said.

"If that's the case then how come he's not having as much trouble?" Reimu asked, referring to Bachira, who was moving around with a smile on his face, clearly looking as if he was having fun.

"I'm not sure. Maybe he's done this before?" Ringo said.

"Actually, I've never done this before." Bachira said. "But it's definitely fun."

"I'd imagine it's because of his footwork." Isagi said.

"Footwork? What's that got to with anything?" Bren asked.

"Wait, you guys are from that Blue Lock thing, right?" Marinette asked.

"Yeah." Isagi nodded, trying to keep his balance as he almost fell.

"Then that's the reason why. Soccer players use their feet to play. So their leg muscles are probably what they exercise the most. It makes sense why he's doing pretty well." Maki said.

"If that's the case, then I should knocking this out of the park too." Isagi said before falling. "I think it's more so because of Bachira's footwork. Compared to most of the other guys at Blue Lock, Bachira's footwork when it comes to dribbling is incredible. More so than your average soccer player."

"Hey, you alright? Let me help you up." Bachira said to Jotaro in the distance.

"No thanks. I'll help myself up." Jotaro said.

"Looks like he's not the only one. Take a look at Alejandro." Riley said as he was going across the park proudly posing.

"Show-off." Heather said before falling.

"Do you need some help? We can practice together." Alejandro offered.

"Doesn't look like you need much practice." Heather said.

"I must admit, this is a lot harder than I thought it would be." Eliza said, almost slipping before Sebastian catches her, grabbing her hand.

"Thank you." Eliza said.

"My pleasure. A lady like yourself doesn't deserve to be on the ground in this dirt." Sebastian said.

"Alright. I think I'm past the point of just walking now." Sly said before going a little faster.

A couple more minutes passed of practice before Ringo and the others called it.

"Okay, I think you guys look like you're ready for to go in the streets." Ringo said.

"Ready? Yeah, right." Bobo said before almost falling. "I'm fine with walkin' or takin' a bike."

"Question, what exactly are our directions? By that I mean, where are we supposed to go?" Rook asked.

"Don't worry about it. We'll actually be skating with you. Just follow us and you'll be fine." Ringo said.

"Okay then. Lead the way." Jotaro said.

"Weren't we supposed to be singing something?" Dewey asked.

"You had to bring that up didn't you?" Louie asked. "Not that I'm complaining."

"What? Singing is fun." Dewey said.

"For you maybe. That's gonna be a pain in the a[censored]." Aomine said, eyes closed as he grabbed his neck.

"I wonder how he's going to sound singing." Mona said, referring to Din, who only looked at her.

He opened his eyes. "On second thought, go ahead. I'm actually dying to hear this guy sing. And Midorima."

"But uh, what if our singing, you know, sucks?" Bren asked.

"Don't worry, you don't have to sing if you don't want to." Ringo said.

"But Chris did say it was going to give an advantage." Riley said.

"Maybe he was wrong?" Cameron reasoned.

"For once, I don't think Chris was lying. The last time we did this, it was sing or be eliminated." Courtney said.

"Well then, what are you guys waiting for? Let's go!" Mikan said, a smile on her face, excited to go skating again, as she and her sisters were apart of an A-T team called Sleeping Forest. Although the team is relegated to nothing but a legend that many A-T riders and teams still talk about and fear today. The trio, along with their younger sister Shiraume Noyamano, would prefer to keep it that way, continuing to skate, but not under the guise of being part of the team.

The others followed behind the trio as they skated through the park.

Chain by Back-On Plays

As they continued going through the park, getting to an area with a walkway and grass with people playing and walking around among other things, the song started. Though the out of the ordinary appearances of some of them including Sly, Skipper, Bobo, Razer and Huey D., Louie and Dewey drew some looks from the others.

*The song starts with an acoustic guitar before a full-on guitar solo starts*

They continued to go through the park, avoiding hitting the lampposts, trees, people and dogs.

"Pardon me." Sebastian said as he jumped over a bench which had someone reading a newspaper.

They then passed a skating rink before they got to a set of stairs.

Rika: Time to break da chain.

Mikan: No pain don't be afraid

Ringo: But it won't change

Luz: Same ol' days

Zak S: Some ol' ways

Sly: The clock keeps ticking.

After grinding down the stairs, they continued going through the park, still continuing to draw looks because of the amount of people that were skating one after another.

Bren: Uh…. a dried up scene….

Courtney and Heather clashed with each other.

"Watch it!" Heather and Courtney said simultaneously.

Courtney and Heather: ….repeated with every passing day.

Isagi: The formula can't get away from me

Sophie: A puppet manipulated within a cage

Octavia: Erase the noise….

Ringo and Marinette: Can you hear my voice?

Mikan and Aomine: Hakidashite!

Rika and Midorima: Nagesuteta!

Huey F. and Huey D.: Throw away pride built merely on reasons!

Midorima and Maki: Howling wind in sorrow!

Akashi and Mayuzumi: And cried out freedom!

Aomine and Dewey: Let loose!

They hit the streets

Ringo, Sebastian and Cameron: Time to break the chain! No pain don't be afraid!

Mona: Spread your wings!

Bachira and Isagi: Throw off these chains!

*Another guitar solo plays as they go through the streets*

They were at a crossing on a sidewalk as the light to cross was red, indicating for them to wait, which caught Ruby R., Todd and Mona off guard, Mona almost going out into the street before she was pulled back by Alejandro.

After cars passed through for a few seconds, the light switched to green, indicating that it was safe for them to cross. They went through with Grogu harmlessly following behind in his pram.

Ringo: *Starts from a very low voice to a very high one from each repeat of these lyircs* You ready to wake up?

Heather: You gotta fly with us

Mikan: You ready to wake up?

Courtney: You gotta fly with us

Heather and Courtney's fighting gets in the way of Bachira, Jotaro and Isagi which caused both Isagi and Jotaro to frown at the two.

Rika: You ready to wake up?

Alejandro: You gotta fly with us

Bachira almost falls over after hitting a trash can before landing on both of his hands, his feet almost accidentally kicking Sebastian before he incredibly jumps over him and lands perfectly without even dropping his speed.

Rex and Yang: You ready to wake up?

Marinette and Ruby: You gotta fly!

Luz and Zak: Let loose!

Riley, Sophie, Aomine and Bren: Time to break the chain! No pain! Don't be afraid!

They continued to race, increasing their speed before Bachira saw a ramp leftover from construction before jumping over it, acrobatically performing moves midair as if he was flying, spinning before falling back down to the surprise of several others, including Isagi. Aomine was next, going up the ramp and trying to perform tricks himself, even though he's never done skateboarding in his life with a smile on his face as he truly was having fun. Though he didn't stick the landing and fell.

Akashi and Reimu go to help pick him up.

Rex, deciding to try and outdo Bachira, changes his hands into fists he called the Punk Busters, launching himself in the air before performing several tricks himself and falling back down, although almost falling over afterwards as he was off balance.

Rex, Ben and Zak S.: Spread your wings!

Sebastian and Bachira: Throw off these chains! It's time to fly!

Everyone went into a large alley before going up another ramp over a gate as another guitar solo was heard.

"I can definitely see what Ringo was talking about." Zak S. said.

"WOO-HOOOO!" Rex shouted out as he was in the air before a portal appeared with Ringo, Mikan, and Rika descending and landing on the ground, looking upward as everyone all went into the portal.

Abandoned Film Lot

"Friend Ruby! This is fun!" Penny said.

"Penny! Cannon!" Ruby said.

"Yes! I know! That is exactly what it feels like!" Penny said.

"No! In front of you! There's a cannon!" Huey D. said.

But it was too late. Everyone was already inside the ball which was in a cannon. Notably, on the left, another cannon was inside.

Chris was already there via a portal. "Alright! Second group's here!" Chris said.

"Bachira, those were some sick moves man! Have you done this before?" Rex asked.

"Nope!" Bachira said, shaking his head as he did, still smiling.

"I must say, if this truly is your first time doing this, then I'm genuinely impressed." Sebastian said.

"Oh master of ATs, teach me your secrets." Dewey said.

"I'll teach you. The secret is…. to have fun!" Bachira said, closing his eyes laughing a little as he smiled.

"Wait….. really?" Dewey said.

"No not really. It just means he doesn't have anything to teach because he just learned it himself." Louie said.

"Is anyone going to talk about how we're just in this ball? Anyone?" Huey D. asked.

"Chris, what is going on!?" Heather asked, annoyed that she was sandwiched in between an equally annoyed Mayuzumi and Octavia.

"Everything will be explained in a bit. For now you're going to have to wait." Chris said.

"Aomine, I trust you have my lucky item right?" Midorima asked.

"Huh? Oh yeah. Here ya go." Aomine said before casually tossing it, though it came in two midair, one of the halves hitting Courtney. "Oops."

"Hey!" Courtney said.

"My bad." Aomine said.

"AOMINEEEEEEEEEE!" Midorima yelled out.

Unknown Island, Canada

"Looks like Midorima's not happy about his lucky item being broken. We'll let those two figure that out. Shouldn't be that hard if they played together before. 'Cause guess what? They're gonna be on the same team again. This time on reality TV. Second team's been made. You'll see the team names once the last group of people come back! On Total….. Drama….. Across the Multiverse!" Chef said.

"Now for a Total Drama Across the Multiverse Fun Fact!" Ringo Noyamano was heard announcing.

Focus: Air Gear(Manga/Anime)

Fun Facts:

1. The music composer for the anime, Hideki Naganuma was also the same one that composed the music in Sega's Jet Set Radio video game series.

2. Back-On, the rock band that composed the only opening for the anime series, also composed the fourth opening for the Eyeshield 21 anime, a series also being represented in the season, Blaze Line.

3. A few VAs from the series could also be heard here who well-known roles including Chris Patton as Ikki Minami, a contestant competing later on in the season, who played Turtles in DBZ including in the Tree of Might Movie and video games and Toru Oikawa from Haikyuu, another franchise being represented in the season. Greg Ayres as Onigiri, one of Ikki's childhood friends a team member of Ikki's own AT team who played Guldo in DBZ Kai and Yu Nishinoya, also from Haikyuu, Luci Christian as Ringo who played Nami in One Piece's Funimation Dub, Reg in Made in Abyss and Ochako in My Hero Academia.

4. The manga also won an award in 2006 for the Shounen Kodansha Manga Award along with three other series, one of them notably being Ace of Diamond, another series being represented here this season

The second team has been made! This team will be named the Storm Kings, named after the title of one of the characters in the series, Itsuki "Ikki" Minami, who owns the special Storm Regalia in the series/manga.
