A/N: After a trip to Pumpkin Hill, it's time to take rollerblading to the extreme in East Side City in the second challenge of the season! Bit of a note, I'm a little under halfway through the show, so things are relatively tame for the most part in it. From what I've heard however, things really get insane with the abilities later on. But honestly, what should I expect. It's rollerblading but it's anime lol. I should have gotten the hint with Ippo, Prince of Tennis and Kuroko's Basketball with what to expect from the show. Not a bad thing though. That's what makes it fun. I'll try my best to capture that here even if things aren't exactly accurate to that point in the series.
ANNOUNCEMENT: It looks like the error that was making certain chapters unreadable in FF Dot Net has been fixed. But if it happens again, please let me know.
Reviews:
That Guy: I got the idea of bringing in Launchpad from UnchartedCoast2 wondering how far he'd go as a contestant. And with how I was always planning for the teams to be in their own transportation, this was a perfect fit.
The immunity idol was a direct nod to finding the hidden Chao in one of Knuckles' levels in Pumpkin Hill. I wanted to do more items for hunting but after I remembered that I needed a racing segment for this challenge, I decided to drop it and have that instead.
As for your Tenkaichi 3 guess, it's a good guess, but that's not it. Super Survivor is still a fire opening though. The game itself is still one of my favorite DBZ games of all time.
Zaksauruszilla: Don't know yet. I have a bit of an idea of what challenges I want to do for the next few episodes but that could change.
Guest: Yeah that's the plan! More contestants will join when the action moves to Camp Wawanakwa for the Total Drama Island segment of the season, with the same thing happening again for the Action, World Tour, ROTI and Pahkitew Island segments of the season. Don't expect things to move to the island until the contestants remaining here gets low enough to a certain point though. The only exceptions will be two contestants that'll be joining later on in this part of the season, both known for their height and strength.
Answers to the previous chapter's trivia questions:
Question 1: Capcom VS SNK 2
The sample can be heard in the New York stage in its Stimulation theme.
Fun fact, the Power Stone characters Rouge and Falcon both have cameos in this game, Falcon appearing in the Nairobi stage and Rouge appearing in the background of the London stage next to Rose from Street Fighter. Falcon makes another appearance in Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3 as a support card in the Heroes vs Heralds mode.
Question 2: Dragon Ball Raging Blast 2
The first game Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta and Legendary Super Saiyan 3 Broly appeared in worldwide was Dragon Ball Raging Blast 1. As stated before, Hatchiyak and Tarble, along with those previously mentioned characters have never appeared in any future DB games released worldwide since.
It is also the first game in the DB series to have its music replaced during its sale as well due to its composer, Kenji Yamamoto being discovered to have plagiarized in the music he composed. Some works plagiarized included Black Sabbath's Iron Man, Stratovarius' Hunting High and Low, Cowboy Bebop's Bad Dog no Biscuits, Earth Wind and Fire's September¸ and even music from James Cameron's Avatar and Terminator Salvation.
The music was replaced with Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 2's soundtrack. These days, it's a roll of the dice on which music you'll get if you buy the game unless you're getting it from someone that knows which one it is. The only song that wasn't composed by him in the game was Battle of Omega, Raging Blast 2's theme by Hironobu Kageyama, the same artist who performed Super Survivor in Budokai Tenkaichi 3, but even that wasn't safe and also got replaced. Which is a shame as it really is a good song. Gatebreaker's good but after playing Tenkaichi 2 and both versions of Raging Blast 2 with the original music and replaced music, hearing Tenkaichi 2's music while playing in RB2 just feels weird lol. Even with the soundtracks in the games he composed being replaced, they're still all available to listen to online on Youtube and other sites.

"Last time on Total Drama Across the Multiverse! It was time to go hunting! Shard hunting! In the first challenge of the season, the three teams would be competing with each other in finding jewel shards, which were actually just pieces of the Master Emerald!" Chris began to recap.
Footage of the contestants arriving to Wild Canyon and being greeted by Knuckles the Echidna was shown.
"One pair from each team would be randomly chosen in a race to find the three shards hidden throughout the area, with anyone that was unable to fly being provided with a jetpack. That also had the risk of exploding. Thankfully though, the two non-flyers, Kurt and Heather, made it out in one piece."
Footage of the pairs being chosen for the challenge was shown.
"Where would they be hunting? Wouldn't be this canyon or the desert that's for sure! Nope! Spooky season came a little early in this one, with the three pairs having to look for shards in Pumpkin Hill! Whilst rapping about it! Yes! Heather rapped! The ratings had to have increased after that!" Chris said.
Footage of Kurt and Whisper for the Rats, Paul and Heather for the Kings, and Bass and Jenny for the Breakers hunting for the master emerald as everyone but Bass and Paul partook in the musical along with Knuckles himself.
"While Kurt and Whisper took the teamwork route, the other two pairs decided to split, with the Kings' members mutually agreeing to split up while the Breakers was a different story. Bass just wasn't going to be a team player. Some of it probably being more because Jenny was a robot than anything else. But hey, whatever works. And it looks like that splitting up did as the Kings and the Breakers were the only ones that came away with shards. The Kings had one while the Breakers had the other two."
Footage of the pairs returning with Kurt and Whisper coming up empty was shown.
"But things weren't done yet. That was only the first part of the challenge. Having more shows just meant more room for error for mistakes in the next part of the challenge which was a relay race. Four team members from each team would be randomly chosen and the team that could get across first would win the challenge and a reward. Whichever team finished last however, would be sending someone home. The advantages? The Kings would have a one-hit shield while the Breakers would have two."
Footage of the teams racing through Radical Highway was shown
"Compared to the first time around, there was no catchy, light-hearted tunes during the daytime. This was race was at night and was serious business as a chance at 10 mil was on the line. But that didn't mean it wasn't for some, if not all of them, especially Rocky. Heck, a surprise was even thrown in at the last leg of the race. Snowboarding! With Mario Kart items! Which made for a crazy finish and a rollercoaster of emotions from several of the contestants!"
Footage of the last leg of the race with Mr. Wolf, Axl and Todd hitting each other with shells, and in Todd's case, hitting Mr. Wolf and Axl with lightning was shown with him crossing the finish line first, winning the challenge for his team.
"Thanks to the clearly rage-inducing thunder item, Todd was able to snatch victory for himself, and ultimately, his team, the Storm Kings as he crossed the finish line first, guaranteeing his team getting a day of luxury in the new and improved first class! Mr. Wolf and the Breakers came in second, with that team simply getting the prize of being safe from elimination. And not being in the new and improved economy class like the Rats were."
Footage of the three teams going back to their planes, with the Rats' and the Kings' planes being changed by Heloise for Economy and First Class along with their reactions was shown.
"Which brings us to the first elimination of the season! The Rats had to choose someone to take the new drop of shame first. And while there were a few differing opinions, most agreed that one person was going to leave that plane: Dragonfly Jones. Maybe if he would have actually trained under Bruce Lee he would have stood a chance in this challenge and the season. But unfortunately for him, that wasn't the case!" Chris said.
Footage of the elimination ceremony with Axl and Dragonfly being the last two, with Axl taking the last Ring Pop, was shown along with Chris pushing him off the Drop of Shame himself after Heloise remotely activated his parachute. He was shown falling through a portal and into a pool before being knocked out.
"Now it's another day! Which means, it's time for another challenge, and another day of entertainment for me and millions upon millions around the world. Will the Rats bounce back and get out of Economy class as they ambitiously declared yesterday? Will the Storm Kings keep their hold of First Class? Or will the Wave Breakers take the crown? Find out right here, right now on Total…. Drama….. Across the Multiverse!"
*Total Drama Across the Multiverse Intro Plays*
Cameras started appearing in random spots around the small island, one of them popping up below an unsuspecting Furuya, who was practicing his pitching form.
Heloise pressed a button as the boats changed to a plane.
The scene changes to being on board the plane where a clapperboard was snap shut before the view goes throughout the plane.
"Dear mom and Dad I'm doing fine."
The view changes to the camera going through the streets of East Side City as Ringo was seen skating along with Ikki, with Ringo giving a smile to the camera before it was quickly sent upwards, going through a portal where there was a large Tower where ships were seen flying to and from said Tower.
"You guys are on my mind."
After going past the Tower, another portal was seen, teleporting the camera where Owen was underwater trying to get the treasure chest that was there only to be confronted by a shark. A shark that Jasmine punched with Owen giving a thumbs up in appreciation, only for Jasmine to unknowingly take the treasure.
"You asked me what I wanted to be and now I think the answer is plain to see."
Ben, as Ripjaws, goes behind her in an attempt to take it, but accidentally scares her causing her to throw the treasure upwards onto a boat, having it land right in the hands of MacArthur who grinned at her unexpected, but welcomed triumph only for Sly to sneakily take it from her, with her only being able to shake her fist at him as he was already getting away with the help of Rex.
"I wanna be famous!"
The camera changed locations again, this time in West City as the God of Destruction, Beerus, along with Whis, Makoto Kino and Murasakibara were all enjoying dessert only for Haizaki to take a piece of cake that Sebastian made off an unsuspecting Makoto's plate with Makoto, Murasakibara, Sebastian and Beerus not too happy about it. Haizaki was smiling, but not for long as he would suffer a painful hit in the crotch and fall to the ground, writhing in pain from a stray golf ball from Priya who ran over quickly to make sure he was okay and apologize.
"I wanna live close to the sun!"
In the Courtyard, Dragonfly Jones was taunting his opponent, who was Karin with the "come at me" gesture before suddenly dancing and then deciding to telegraph an obvious kick, allowing her to counter and kick him upwards into the air and unknowingly into a portal that appeared, causing Yulaw, Becky B. and the Older Bennett to facepalm.
"Go pack your bags 'cause I've already won"
The camera then changed to a futuristic version of New York in the year 2105, where Miyuki, Todd, Toxsa and Mikey were playing video games only for Dragonfly to crash through Cody Jones' penthouse and knock over Serling who falls on the VR device that was being used to project the game to the four.
"Everything to prove nothing in my way, I'll get there one day"
The camera changed to a grassy area where Eijun was energetically practicing his bat swings with Monta encouraging him only for him to swing the bat too hard, throwing it and almost hitting Din and Rally who were both doing target practice. Although both ducked, the bat's victim was Midorima's lucky item which was a tiger mask he was wearing on his face, which caused him to yell in horror after realizing what just happened.
"Cause I wanna be famous!"
Both Rei and Reimu, in their shrine maiden outfits were drinking tea as Rei tried to teach a confused Reimu about some of the pop culture of the world only for a basketball to come flying their way, hitting both of them in the face. They both angrily looked at the possible culprits, with Aomine casually pointing at Kagami, even though Aomine was the one that did it, trying to see if he could copy Kuroko's Ignite Pass Kai which failed.
"Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na!"
Before he could even attempt to explain himself, the two were already chasing Kagami with Aomine smiling only to be scared by Kuroko himself, who appeared out of nowhere, causing Aomine to run away. Though it was revealed to have actually been Nimona as she laughed.
"I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous!"
As X and Lanolin were collaborating together for plans for their team, Axl was launched by Tangle via her tail as he performed some trick shots on some Dynamite that Rocky threw in the air, causing an explosion to happen. Though Axl's landing wasn't pretty as he fell through a tree, falling on an unsuspecting Mayuzumi, who wasn't happy that his reading was disturbed.
"I wanna be, I wanna be"
As Tangle went over to check on Axl and apologize, Luz and Akko were next to another tree as Akko was reading a Good Witch Azura book, amazed at how similar she was to Shiny Chariot, giving Luz her Shiny Chariot card, who was also equally amazed at the card. Though their reading would be interrupted as Chris would be heard calling them all out with a microphone connected to speakers.
"I wanna be famous!"
They, and several others ran to the World Tournament arena. Zak S. was running only for Zak M. to use his Fang's grappling hook to trip him up and laugh as he ran past him with Zak S. retaliating with the same thing, but in his case, also pulling off Zak M.'s pants, revealing his red and white boxers with hearts on them, the colors also notably reversed compared to Zak S.'s and was embarrassed as he tried to put his pants back on.
Many of the contestants whistled the TD tune as Marinette and Adrien got closer to one another only to be scared unintentionally by Kuroko who appeared out of nowhere and was talking to Hinata, with both of their heads being grabbed by Kagami and Kageyama respectively as the two prodigies looked at one another with a competitive edge. The same could be said for Zak S. and Zak M., Albedo and Ben, and Kise and Haizaki as a blimp with the words "Total Drama Across the Multiverse" were shown overhead before Hiruma shot two rifles in the air, scaring everyone.
*End Intro*
A/N: This episode/challenge will be split into two parts. I don't know how long the challenge will be(in terms of word count), along with the elimination ceremony, so I decided to split it just in case.
Midorima's Lucky Item of the day:
Tiger Mask
Song:
Sky2high by Skankfunk
Special Guests for Today's Episode:
Ringo, Rika, Mikan, and Shiraume Noyamano(Air Gear)
Cameo:
Itsuki "Ikki" Minami(Air Gear)
Additional Pilots:
Launchpad McQuack(Ducktales 2017)
Mr. Bixby(Talented Mr. Bixby)
It was morning time. Everyone was sound asleep, with the exception of a few(outside of Sebastian as he doesn't need to sleep). Midorima was listening to the daily horoscopes while Paul was outside training his Pokemon. Cicini and Bennett were inside working on something as well. Furuya was outside practicing his pitching with rocks, throwing them at a palm tree to simulate throwing to a tight window to a pitcher not too far from where Paul was.
Furuya breathes before throwing another rock at the palm tree, putting all of his strength into it as if he was playing a real game and not practicing. Before he could throw another, rock music was suddenly heard blaring. Which in this case was the instrumental of Chain by Back-On.
The sound of the music started to inch closer and closer to the island before it was to the point that everyone there heard it.
"Why can't he just wake people up like a normal person would?" Lucy said as she and six others from her team got up.
"You're asking someone that wanted someone to put their feet in boiling hot water for a challenge to wake people up normally." Rally said to Lucy, sharing a room with her, Rei, Emma, May, and Becky F.
"Wait, he WHAT!?" Rei said in disbelief.
"It's true. How do I know? I was the one he asked to do it the last season I was here." Rally said.
"You weren't actually crazy enough to do that were you?" Lucy asked.
"Of course not. Sorry but I'm not risking third degree burns for money. I'm not that desperate." Rally said.
"Sounds about right. Unfortunately." Emma said.
***Confessional***
Emma(Radical Rats):
"Outside of MacArthur, I don't have much of a problem with most of the other girls on the team. Most of them are competitive, but still have their heads on straight. And even then it's just me wanting her to cool down and not get so worked up all the time. Even though I guess you could apply that to Rei too."
"Sucy and Dawn are… interesting. Akko and Tangle seem energetic, which can be a double-edged sword. Yeah, Whisper and Blaze have been pretty quiet but they seem like they can handle themselves. I wish I could say the same for Priya and Lotte. Though that's probably me just overreacting. I mean Priya did win a season. I don't think that's just a fluke on a show like this."
***End Confessional***
Everyone else was starting to wake up with Aomine and Ryoma Echizen being the last two.
"Good morning." Kuroko said to everyone that could hear him, to the surprise of Lucy and several others that were around him at the time.
"Is it possible for you to just appear normally for once?" Lucy asked.
"What are you talking about?" Kuroko said.
"You can't be this dense to not know what I meant!" Lucy said.
"I really don't." Kuroko said.
"Eventually, you'll get used to it." Kise said.
"Get used to it? You mean he's been doing this for a while?" Rally asked.
"Pretty much. I was weirded out by it at first too. At this point, I've just accepted the fact that it just happens." Kise said.
"Doing what? I've been here the whole time." Kuroko said.
"Maybe he's some sort of magician. Now you see him, now you don't." Rocky said.
"He's definitely a magician alright." Rei said sarcastically, not believing that for a second. And it's not even because she was a person that didn't believe in those things as she was a Shrine Priestess and Sailor Guardian herself. It's more of her just refusing to believe that Kuroko was capable of doing something like that.
"Well, looks like it's time for bad food day number two." Rex said.
"Don't remind me." Reimu said.
"What are we gonna have next? A breakfast burrito full of expired food?" Bobo said.
"I'm not too worried. If we can win first class like we did yesterday, I'll be more than happy." Eliza said.
"Second that. If that's what we get every time we win, I don't ever wanna stop winnin'." Bobo said.
"It's honestly not out of reach. The last time we did three teams, one of them didn't last too long." Alejandro said.
"Oh yeah. Team Victory. More like Team Loser." Heather said.
"Hey." A voice said, behind the Kings.
"Don't think you can leave us out of this." Kaz said, being the source, walking up behind them.
"Us either." Natsu said.
"I don't know who Team Victory is, but we're not that team." Sendo said.
"Don't think you're hot s[censored] just because you won one challenge." Kagami said.
"And we'll win this one too." Heather said.
"You cocky ba[censored]ds." Kageyama said. "Try saying that after you get your a[censored]es handed to you today!"
Yawning was heard. "Oh hey. Looks like the party's started already." A voice said. Everyone turned. It was from Hanamiya. He had already changed into a green zip-up jacket with a grey t-shirt that had a black skull on it with black pants.
"Oh. It's you." Aomine said, closing his eyes.
"And a good morning to you all too." Hanamiya said. "You're not still mad at losing yesterday are you?" He said to Kagami, Sendo and Natsu.
"Of course we're not happy you idiot." Sendo said.
"If you had to stay in where we had to stay you wouldn't be happy either I would think." Lucy said.
"Oh my. It seems we have a lot of aggression today. Whatever happened to the friendly greetings from the previous day?" Sebastian said, showing up.
"That's what competition does." Emma said.
"And living in bad conditions." Diana said.
"As long as we don't lose sight of the fact that we can still be friendly, I don't mind a little bit of competitiveness." Zoey said.
"Friendly you say? You've got to be kidding." Kunigami said.
"I don't have a problem with what she said. What's wrong with being friendly to others? Even if they're not on the same team." Luz said.
"That's easy for you to say when you guys got first class." Young Bennett said.
"So assertive. I say if they're looking for a challenge, we should be more than willing to oblige their requests." Eliza said. "A fair warning though." She said before a confident, but somehow menacing smile appeared on her face. "You won't win."
"We shall see. Underestimate me at your own peril." Urien said to Eliza.
"Can't say those guys don't have a competitive spirit." Adrien said as he, Kise, Maki and Akko looked on with Sendo, Kaz, Eijun, Kagami and Natsu looking as if they were on fire.
"I don't mind. Personally, I like their burning passion." Puss said.
"More like too much. Any more and they'll end up burning everything down." Lucy said.
"Mm-hmm." Rei said, nodding.
"Weren't you yelling yesterday too?" Rocky asked.
A vein appeared on Rei's head, as she slowly turned.
"I'm sorry, but weren't you one of the people that helped us lose the challenge yesterday?" She asked as a scary smile appeared on her face, as it looked as if she was, figuratively speaking, on fire as well.
"Still haven't forgotten that huh?" Rocky said.
"OF COURSE I DIDN'T FORGET! I HAD TO BE IN THAT GARBAGE ECONOMY CLASS TOO!" Rei yelled.
"My eardrums aren't going to have a break while I'm here I see." Tsukishima said.
"You and me both." Noah said.
***Confessional***
Kagami(Radical Rats):
"Damn it! These guys are p[censored]in' me off! They win one challenge and think they're the kings of the mountain! Bring it on then! We'll knock off that mountain and flat on your a[censored]!"
***End Confessional***
***Confessional***
Lucy(Radical Rats):
"I never realized how many hotheads were on this team. I thought it would be just Natsu, Kagami, and maybe Sendo. But it's definitely more than that. So far I'm counting MacArthur, Natsu, Kagami, Sendo, and now Rei. And that's just on this team. Eijun, Kageyama and Kaz look like they could give them a run for their money too. As for Kuroko, seriously, what is up with that? Just appearing out of nowhere constantly. It's starting to creep me out how he can just do that."
***End Confessional***
"Alright everyone! It's time to fly again! Get ready to board those planes!" Chris said as three planes, each of varying quality was seen.
"Did you get different pilots this time?" Tsukishima asked.
"What? Why in the world would I do that?" Chris asked.
"We almost got killed last time! That's why!" Reagan said.
"You guys look okay to me. Now hurry up and get on the planes. We're going to be using the same classes as yesterday for each team. Rats, you get the economy plane. Kings, first class. Breakers, standard." Chris said.
***Confessional***
Fiona(Wave Breakers):
"So instead of getting new pilots, Chris would rather keep these even after what happened yesterday. Either he's cheap or he's crazy. Maybe both."
***End Confessional***
Plane 1: Radical Rats(Economy Class)
"We really have to be back here in this s[censored]hole again?" Rick said.
"Looks like it." Young Bennett said before Old Bennett warped in, appearing out of nowhere as he sat on one of the empty seats. At least from what he was projecting anyway. Because he wasn't actually there, he wasn't really sitting in the empty seat.
"Mornin' kid." Old Bennett said.
"Morning. Or should I say, bad morning." Young Bennett said as he took out Edee 1.01 from his backpack, a flying robot that was similar in size to P.E.L. and Tsukikage. Unlike Edee-34, this version of Edee couldn't talk. But it didn't mean he was useless.
"You got that right." Natsu said, falling on the seat where Old Bennett was sitting in.
Old Bennett moved to another seat that was empty, next to Cicini, a product of Dragonfly Jones being eliminated.
"Sorry." Natsu said.
"Wait, he just passed through him! You must be a ghost!" Happy said.
"No I'm not a ghost. I'm a mental projection." Old Bennett said.
"A mental what? Is that some kind of magic like Lucy's?" Happy asked. "You can summon an older version of yourself for wisdom?"
"No it's not magic. It's science. And I can't 'summon him'. He comes and goes whenever. Which honestly, sometimes I wish I could do the same to him and see how he likes getting scared sometimes." Young Bennett said.
"Too bad for you. You won't be able to come up with the theory to invent this until you're my age." Old Bennett said.
"And I'd hardly call all of the advice he gives wisdom." Young Bennett said.
"You're not that easy to work with either you know?" Old Bennett said.
"Not everyone's perfect. I still think it's cool you can do time travel like that though." Zee said.
"I know, right? I can go in, talk to the kid, leave and eat or even grab a juice box! And within seconds I'm back here with the kid." Old Bennett said.
"So in a way, it's like VR and time travel mixed together! That's cool!" Adrien said.
"Pretty much!" Old Bennett said proudly.
"If I saw the theory you used, I'd bet you I'd be able to improve on it and make it possible for the kid to appear in your time like you can." Rick said.
"That's easy for you to say without having any knowledge on how it works. There's a reason why it took me until I was in my 60s to be able to do something like this and do it without people wanting to try and take the tech for themselves." Old Bennett said.
"So you really think that people wouldn't try to take something like that just because you can't technically time travel with it? Are you that f[censord]ing stupid? People are willing to take and hurt or kill you for less than five dollars from you these days." Rick said.
"That's why I don't tell anyone about it, along with trying to stay hidden from anyone else in the past." Old Bennett said, starting to get annoyed.
"It's not like I even have anyone in my time to tell it to anyway." He thought, sadness and regret in his voice before it was immediately shut out by his younger self and Cicini.
"Guys, before you two start arguing again, we have an announcement to make." Young Bennett said, raising his voice for everyone to hear.
"Thank you. You have my gratitude. Her insistence on trying to read my 'aura' is starting to be very grating." Albedo said, referring to Dawn. "Go and annoy one of those cats or something!"
"As much as I would love to talk to one of them, unfortunately, there are no other seats open." Dawn said.
"There's a seat right there!" Albedo said.
"No there isn't. The Older Bennett is sitting there." Dawn said.
"He's not actually there you simpleton! He's a mental projection!" Albedo said.
"Even so, I still think it'd be rude." Dawn said.
"Since we returned to the mansion, after watching yesterday's challenge, I proposed an idea to Bennett." Cicini said.
"And that idea was communication-based." Young Bennett said.
"Communication-based huh? Okay kid, what have you two got in mind?" Old Bennett asked, intrigued.
"Inspired by Sendo and his yelling at Dragonfly, we came up with a simple way for us to be able to communicate with each other even if we're in different places." Cicini said.
"Looks like your yelling ended up being useful after all." Noah said.
"Shut it." Sendo said, knowing he wasn't saying that as a compliment.
"The macrophone!" Young Bennett said, pulling out a small earpiece.
"Yeah, that name's going to need some work." Old Bennett said.
"We know." Cicini said, scratching her cheek a little, knowing that it wasn't exactly her best work.
"Anyways, with this, we can communicate to anyone else on the team, from anywhere. How is that possible you ask? Radio waves and the internet!" Young Bennett said.
"Even in different worlds, one thing that's common in many of them is the fact that there's some sort of access to radio or the internet." Cicini said.
"We even took into account those from worlds with less advanced tech such as Falcon and the 19th century." Young Bennett said.
"Should our magic work then? On our Earth, we have something called WitchNet. I use my crystal ball to access it." Lotte said.
"Well, it sounds like it serves the same purpose as the internet, so yes!" Young Bennett said.
"Great!" Lotte said, happy to know that their magic would be able to work.
"So that means our magic should work too right?" Natsu asked.
"Possibly. If where you come from has something equivalent to WitchNet, then there's a good chance it might." Cicini said.
"And you guys have been working on this since yesterday?" Tangle asked.
"Yep. We put on the finishing touches earlier before you guys got up." Young Bennett said.
"That's incredible!" Lanolin said, amazed at how fast they were able to work. "Have you two tested it out yet?"
"No. Which is why we were hoping you guys could help out with that." Young Bennett said.
"Sounds great. This challenge should be perfect for that." Mamori said.
"Unfortunately though, we've only made one. And this one may not be perfect yet so there still might be issues." Cicini said.
"Me! Pick me!" Rocky said, jumping up and down.
"Please stop." Sucy said, sitting next to the cat again.
"Since we already use something similar for us to communicate with our navigators, why don't we give it a try?" X proposed.
"I think we should wait." Blaze said.
"Wouldn't it make more sense to decide now? Why wait?" Tangle asked.
"If the last challenge is anything for us to go off of, not all of us will probably be participating. It's a good idea for us to wait and see what the challenge is and who's going to be in it before we decide that." Blaze said.
"Makes sense. And plus, depending on the environment, it might not be a safe place for us to test something like that." Sanders said.
"Almost every place Chris is involved in is turned into a deathtrap. Safe and Chris are like oil and water." Noah said.
"It can't be any worse than this." Natsu said, still sick.
"It actually can be." Noah said.
"Well, we're going to have to make do. Like I said, it all depends on where we're going." Sanders said.
"Forget where we're going. I want to know when we're going to get out of here." May said before she saw a roach and screamed. The reach crawled on Priya's head and she screamed, before running.
"Get it off! Get it off! Get it off!" Priya said before Puss and Sendo were the first ones to take action to try and kill it but both missed, with Sendo punching Priya.
"Stand still!" Sendo said, annoyed, moving around in the plane to try and kill it.
MacArthur was the one to catch it and crush it before stepping on it two more times after that.
"Were the other two times really necessary?" Noah asked.
"What? It's dead right?" MacArthur said, shrugging.
"Where's the breakfast? I don't know about you guys, but I'm ready to eat." Falcon said.
"Me too!" Owen said.
"I'm not." Noah said.
"Noah, you're supposed to say 'me three!'" Owen said.
"What if I don't want to say 'me three'?" Noah asked.
"Oh. Well… uh, you don't have to I guess." Owen said.
"What happened?" Priya said, getting up and looking around before several of her teammates looked at her with disgust.
"Oh dios mio." Puss said, surprised along with the others before quickly regaining his composure and clearing his throat.
"That does not look good." Morty said.
"It's…. perfectly fine. Sendo, can you help Priya to her seat?" Puss asked.
"Yeah, sure." Sendo said, before helping her up.
"Thanks." Priya said.
"Sorry about the black eye." Sendo said before several of his teammates including Tangle and Akko tried to get him to stop talking to not have her freak out on the plane.
"The what?" Priya asked, confused.
"Yeah you might want to get that checked." Kagami said.
"I really don't know what you guys are talking about." Priya said.
"Does someone have a mirror?" Sendo asked.
May hands him a mirror.
"Thanks." Sendo said. After seeing how nasty the black eye was, she yells in horror.
"Y'all alright back there?" A voice said in the front, revealing it to be Mr. Bixby that was piloting the plane, turning around.
"Yep! We're fine!" Sanders called out.
"Just makin' sure no one died back there." Mr. Bixby said.
"Man this seat's uncomfortable. They don't have like better cushions or something?" Mr. Bixby said before trying to pull a lever to adjust the seat, suddenly causing him to go lower, with the sudden surprise causing him to make the plane go downward before it went back up, the sudden change in altitude forcing Chef to have to get out of the way on the Kings' plane.
"What was that?" Rally said.
Several people on the Kings' plane were asking that same question, as that plane was piloted by Chef with orange juice spilling all on Heloise and Heather having the fork she was using to eat with to go in one of her nostrils.
"Are you okay?" Marinette asked.
"I have a fork stuck in my nose! What do you think?" Heather asked.

"Gonna be honest, after seeing the last challenge, if there's going to be that much running, I'm not going to be able to do too much in these challenges. The last time I tried sports….. let's just say automated boots and boot ball don't mix. At least for me. And yes, I cheated. But that was only because the school I go to requires you to be in at least one intramural sport. I was happy just being a bench warmer. But just my luck, several other starters got injured and I was the only one left in the reserves to fill in the last spot or the team, which included my older brother and one of my friends, would have to forfeit. And I didn't want to let them or my dad or mom down. Especially my mom. My dad was a ping-pong champion and my mom won a boot ball championship on her intramural sport team at my age. They called her Lady Lightning. I'm not joking. I literally never knew this until I chose to play. So this is one way I can help without being a burden on the team. Cicini, you're a lifesaver!"

Future(Saving Me)
As the chair he was in lowers back down to the floor, Old Bennett gets off it.
"I take it things are going well." Edee-34 said, in optimistic mode.
"Yes, actually." Old Bennett said, smiling.
"The kid and Cicini came up with a great idea. We can communicate anywhere. And best of all, that limits the amount of time where he has to get involved in the more athletic stuff. We both know how that turned out last time." Old Bennett said.
"Great on you! Well, the past you for being willing to accept the idea." Edee-34 said.
"I know. At least that's one scientist I'm confident the kid'll get along with. And myself. Although seriously though, why doesn't she wear pants?"
"But anyways, that aside, it really shows how much of an impact those changes are. Before then, the old me would have probably gotten upset that someone came up with the idea first. Or tried to take credit for it." He said before looking at his life band. The meter on it was slowly increasing after the idea was announced. "I know we've still got work to do, but it all starts somewhere." He said before going to eat breakfast.
Plane 2: Storm Kings(First Class)
"Um, you might want to get that pulled out." Cameron said to Heather, sitting next to Bren a seat ahead of them as they were playing video games together.
"I know that!" Heather said.
"So…. if you know that, why haven't you pulled it out yet." Octavia said, not really caring much for her response. She was sitting next to Blake on the opposite side of Marinette and Heather.
"Shut up! Go back and go read your books or whatever you were doing." Heather said only for her to be ignored as Octavia had already turned her music back up.
"Hello? You know what, never mind." Heather said.
"You really need to get that pulled out." Marinette said frankly, out of genuine concern more than anything else.
"I said I KNOW THAT!" Heather yelled.
Alejandro was sitting with Isagi several seats ahead of Heather and Marinette.
"I took a look at your notes on some of the guys on the other team that you've learned about or were already familiar with and noticed Kunigami also came from Blue Lock. But he hasn't spoken much compared to you guys. How is he?" Alejandro asked.
"Honestly, I don't really know anymore." Isagi said, an honest look of uncertainty on his face.
"What do you mean by that?" Alejandro asked, surprised by the answer.
"Well, when I first met Kunigami when we first got into Blue Lock, he was someone that was competitive, like all of us. But, that competitiveness wasn't going to cloud his morals and what he believed in. No matter what, he was going to do things the right way."
"I don't care what anybody else thinks. Or if they laugh at me. Because I'm not embarrassed of my dream. And to make it come true I'm ready to fight the whole world fair and square." Flashback Kunigami said to Isagi in the past.
"So I'm guessing he's now someone that will do anything to win." Alejandro said.
"Well, no. At least from what I've seen. He's never tried to injure someone or even just outright turn against the team." Isagi said.
"So, how exactly is he different then?" Alejandro asked.
Isagi took a few seconds to think about what he wanted to say to make sure it was in a way that Alejandro could understand.
"I guess, if anything, he acted more like a superhero." Isagi finally said.
"A superhero?"
"Yeah. That's the reason why he wanted to play soccer."
"I idolized strikers. Warriors that ran on green pitches. Scoring goals. Winning games. Those players weren't works of fiction. They were real life superheroes. That left me feeling inspired. Full of excitement and courage. That's who I want to be. Why I play." Kunigami explained to Isagi after being asked by him why he wanted to play soccer.
"Being a superhero for the country that you were born in. For someone like him, to be able to achieve that dream, I know would mean the world to him." Isagi said.
"So, what would you say he acts more like now? Surely not a supervillain." Alejandro said.
"Honestly, either an anti-hero or anti-villain." Isagi said. "I know they're two entirely different things but… hmm." Isagi said, before thinking. "Sorry. I'm trying to get my thoughts together."
"Don't worry take your time." Alejandro said before yelling was heard, getting both of their attention. The source being Heather. Even Midorima, Mayuzumi, Octavia and Din, who were usually unbothered by everything else that would go on in the plane looked up.
"THAT HURT!" Heather said.
"I'd think it'd be hard to win challenges with a fork sticking out of your nose." Marinette said, not willing to put up with Heather's dramatic theatrics.
"I know, but it still hurt!" Heather said before going to the bathroom, annoyed.
***Confessional***
Heather(Storm Kings):
"Who does she think she is? Getting an attitude like that? And yes, I know the fork needed to come out, but I knew it was going to hurt, so I didn't want to do it!" She said, trying to hold back tears from the pain, but unable to.

Aomine's phone rang as he was idly looking out the window, about to close his eyes after eating. He was sitting next to Reimu. Although his eating slightly bothered her, it wasn't enough for her to really be annoyed enough to want to move to another seat. He took the phone out of his pocket and opened his eyes a little, lazily looking at the picture to see who was calling. The picture of a girl with pink hair and pink eyes wearing a light green jacket was on the screen. It was Satsuki Momoi. Aomine's childhood friend and current manager and classmate at Touou academy, along with his and the other Miracles' classmate and manager at Teiko Middle. He thought about not answering but decided to do it anyway, knowing that it was just going to ring again if he didn't.
He lazily put the phone up to his ear. "Hello?"
"DAI-CHAN! It's so good to hear from you again! So, how was your first day? Did you win? Or did you lose? Come on spill the details!"
"We won, alright? Now if that's all you wanted, then-"
"All right! That's awesome! I heard Tetsu, Midorin and Akashi are there too! Even Kagamin! Isn't that awesome? You guys get to play together again on reality TV! It's like Vorpal Swords all over again! Without Mukkun. I wish he was there too. Maybe with some snacks we can get him to come. But I think you six can still win! Oh and could you tell Tetsu I said hi?"
"Tetsu's got a phone you tell him that. He's on another plane. And for your information, we're not all playing together. We're on different teams." Aomine said, now fully awake. And annoyed.
"Whaaaaa? Really? Aw. That stinks. Ki-chan didn't tell me that."
"What? Kise? When'd he tell you this?"
"Just a couple of minutes ago. We talked on the phone."
"Then why the hell are you calling me!?" Aomine yelled out, louder than he intended, causing several other contestants on the plane to look at him, including Reimu.
"Do you really have to yell?" Reimu asked.
"Sorry."
"I was going to call all of you guys and tell them you were on reality TV so they could cheer you on. I called Ki-chan first since I knew he'd definitely answer the phone. Then I was going to call you next. I didn't expect all of you guys to be here."
"Yeah, and it's a pain in the a[censored]. Not only do I have to deal with the others here but I have to deal with them too. And Kagami. Besides, if they weren't here why even call Midorima and Murasakibara about that anyway? Midorima probably wouldn't care and neither would Murasakibara."
"You never know unless you try!"
"Good luck with that." Aomine said, sensing her smile from over the phone.
As they continued to talk, Isagi had finally gotten his thoughts together. "I'd say anti-hero. Yeah, we were all a little selfish. And all of us had the belief that we could be the best player. The best striker at Blue Lock. But Kunigami, ever since coming out of the Wild Card, it's like he became even more selfish. And it showed not just in his play on the field, but off it too." Isagi said.
"Even off the field, he was willing to be kind to others. Even the guys that were on the opposing team. Simply put, as long as you had some respect for the game, he'd respect you. I should know. He shared with me some of his steak. Mind you, this was something he redeemed one of his goals for. Better food. It was his goal. He earned it. We lost the game and he was the one that scored our only goal in the game. But he shared half of it with me anyway because I decided to pass to him rather than take the shot myself. Don't get me wrong, I wanted to score. And maybe I could have. But I had no other choice but to pass if I wanted to really help our team. And he was the best opportunity I could see on the field for a goal. If there was anyone else I'd pass to them too." Isagi explained.
"Since coming out of the Wild Card, he's none of those things anymore. He was serious but he had things he liked like most other people. And he didn't feel ashamed in sharing that with us." He said, noting Kunigami's favorite movie being Iron Man, his favorite song being a Naruto opening Silhouette by KANA-BOON, and his favorite manga being One Piece, all things Isagi knew because Kunigami was more than comfortable in expressing his interests with some of the others at Blue Lock, even if they laughed at him for it, which no one did.
"Now, he doesn't really talk to anyone anymore. Anytime I've seen him, he's just been practicing soccer, or working out. I don't even know if I've ever even seen him smile since. And as of right now, we're back on the same team again back at Blue Lock. Sure, there's guys like that here. Like Paul, Jotaro, and Din. I'm just counting a few from our team. I know there's more. But those three are different. Jotaro and Din really seem like some good guys. And I know it's kinda silly for me to say then when I haven't even seen Din's face. But I can just…. feel it you know? And Paul seems like someone that's competitive like Kunigami. But I don't think Paul would act the way he does. And whenever Kunigami does talk, it's pretty much never anything out of respect. Even for his own teammates." Isagi concluded.
"Wow. So what is the Wild Card?"
"Honestly, I'm not too sure myself. I and a couple of others have tried to ask Kunigami about it but he refused every time." Isagi said. "All I know is that he never went there until he lost his match against Shidou's team. We were at a point in Blue Lock where the remaining teams were going to be split again for the second selection. I was on one team while Kunigami was on another. Even with that, all of Team Z, before we split apart, we all made a promise that we'd all survive and make it to the next selection together. And it looked like we were going to achieve that promise. Until that bas[censored]d Shidou messed all of that up." Isagi said.
"You seem like you need to vent. Go ahead. I'm willing to listen."
"Vent? No. This won't take long." Isagi said. "Don't get me wrong, I hated the fact that Kunigami lost. But, in the end, it happens. For there to be a winner, there has to be a loser. I was willing to accept it. Hell, I lost a game during the second selection too. Right at the end. Thankfully though, I was chosen by the team we lost to for a second chance. So in a way, I might have not been able to fulfil that promise either if it wasn't for Bachira choosing me. He was a part of the team that beat ours."
"But Kunigami….. he wasn't chosen. It was over. He was eliminated from Blue Lock. And could never come back. But knowing the type of person Kunigami was he'd still be happy for me, Bachira, or any of the others from Team Z if we achieved our dream of playing in the World Cup for Japan. But that a[censored]hole decided to rub salt in the wound when he showed up. That was when I had a problem with him."
Flashback
"Kunigami would never let it end like this!" Isagi said, stunned.
"Yet he's not here." Shidou said, getting up close to him as he had his hands in his pockets nonchalantly. He had tan skin, pink eyes with spiky blonde hair with fading pink at the tips, having two strands falling on both sides of his face. His jersey number was 111.
"Oh, and I'm the one that sent him to hell by the way." He added, still nonchalant. Isagi looked at him.
"Sure, I'll admit he had a great physique. And a pure heart too. Dude was obsessed with a fair game. Here's the thing. Whenever you're on the field, nobody gives two sh*ts whether you're a decent guy. If you don't live for the explosive flashes of intense play, you're trash." He said as he walked past Isagi without even looking at him. "You know the most pathetic thing about that hero? The slime was so beneath me, he didn't even help me level up."
End Flashback
"Don't get me wrong, he's got skill. I've watched him play myself. But I just couldn't let him get away with saying something like that. But that was all I could do. The reality was, none of that would be enough to bring back Kunigami. Heck, I didn't even get to play the guy. His match was the last one of the second selection." Isagi said before smiling as he looked back at Alejandro. "Heh. I said I wouldn't take long and look what happened."
"Don't worry about it! I already told you I'm willing to listen." Alejandro said.
"Well, this time, I'll try to keep things as brief as possible." Isagi started.
"Like I said back then, if anything, I guess you could say the Wild Card is Blue Lock's own losers' bracket. You could choose to go there and potentially win a second chance instead of just dropping out and leaving. But my guess is that if you lose….. then that's it. There are no second chances. I'm not sure how many people were there. But what I am sure of was that Kunigami was the only person that came out. And he was noticeably stronger. And it showed when he played and joined our team as the final selection for the Neo Egoist League. He can even kick from both feet now. And the incredible part is….. both of them are very powerful and equal in power!" Isagi said.
"I see. An incredible player with a…. not so incredible personality now it seems." Alejandro said.
"I guess you could say that." Isagi said. "Well, that's all I've got. Thanks. For listening. Even though I dragged on a little longer than I should have."
"No problem! What are teammates for?" Alejandro said, smiling.
***Confessional***
Isagi(Storm Kings):
"I know he doesn't call himself one anymore, but still….. after he refused to teach me how to kick with both feet to avoid destroying my specs, I figured out that he was trying to protect me from myself even if he didn't outright say it. That still gives me hope that maybe one day, that superhero will come back."
***End Confessional***
***Confessional***
Alejandro(Storm Kings):
"Yes, I wanted to learn more about Kunigami to see if there was something that could be used against him. But I genuinely was trying to listen to Isagi. Kunigami seems like someone that could be an incredible competitor, but is very selfish. Thank you for providing me with this valuable information Isagi. I'll be sure to use it well."
"What? Did you really think Heather and I were sitting separately just because? For you newbies out there to this show, I play to win. It's nothing personal to any of the others here. And I truly do mean that. Isagi seems nice. But unfortunately for him, I don't discriminate when it comes to who I'm willing to use. And neither does Heather. And considering how Blue Lock is, he should understand this more than anyone else. Next is Akashi. Out of all of those Miracle guys, he's been the least vocal. Speaking of which, I really should check on her. That yell sounded painful. Very."
***End Confessional***
Isagi quietly looks at Kunigami's stats, as of the last time he looked at them as the stats of players were publicly available to every player at Blue Lock. Not just Ego or the others that ran Blue Lock or the Neo Neo Egoist teams. His offense and shooting ability were both S ranks while his speed was an A rank with his defense and dribble both being Bs. Notably, his passing was a C rank, the lowest rank out of his stats. Though overall, his average was a 91, giving him an S average.
"I wonder. If I was the one to enter the Wild Card. Would I come out the same way as him? He's an incredible player. His stats and play are obvious proof of that. But at what cost? In many cases, to get something, you've got to give something in return." Isagi thought.
Flashback
"I didn't know Blue Lock had a sort of loser's bracket. Welcome back superhero!" Isagi said, welcoming Kunigami back with a friendly smile as he returned to Blue Lock, meeting Isagi for the first time since he was beaten by Shidou. "I'm happy you were the one to climb back up! We can fight together again!"
Kunigami had his back turned to him in silence before finally saying, "Quit it."
"Huh?" Isagi said, a confused look on his face.
Kunigami turned, slightly, not smiling. "I don't call myself a hero anymore. I left that childish dumba*sery in hell."
Isagi stood in shock after hearing Kunigami say this, this being one of the telltale signs to Isagi that this wasn't the same Kunigami anymore.
End Flashback
Plane 3: Wave Breakers(Standard Class)
Kunigami was sitting at a window seal, idly looking out the window. Furuya was sitting next to him, also silent, the only noise from him was when he was drinking water, asking for water on the plane after practicing his pitches. Although the water wasn't cold, he was still willing to take it so he could get himself hydrated again. Both he and Kunigami were just looking forward to the next challenge, but how they were feeling was entirely different. Furuya was never a person that liked to express himself through words like Eijun or most other people. But, his burning passion for competition, especially baseball was something that matched Eijun's. For Kunigami, at least from what was seen in his eyes, that fire burned out. If anything, he could be described as a "cyborg", as one player from Blue Lock described him as, since his return.
Shiro, another mostly silent competitor, was sitting next to Mr. Wolf who tried to pass the time by asking him some questions, most of which Shiro only gave a few worded answers too, even refusing to show Mr. Wolf his car.
"Do you even like your team? I know I've only known you for like a few days but you seem so disconnected to them. I mean your racing team." Mr. Wolf asked.
Shiro raised an eyebrow at his question, but his expression didn't change. "I wasn't even initially apart of their team. But I joined them later on." Shiro said.
"Why?"
"They're good racers."
"That's it?"
"I've answered your questions. What else do you want me to say? It's not like you even care about what we do in the first place." Shiro said before not saying anything else the whole ride.
"Good talk." Mr. Wolf said.

I can get why it would take a bit for the others to talk to me and get along. But this guy? He's been like this the entire time. And not just to me. To the others too. Did he even say anything yesterday? I'm not trying to make myself look bad. Really. If what I said really offended them I'll apologize. The last thing I need here is enemies that I'm not even trying to make. And they're kids for goodness sake! Why in the world would I want to make enemies with kids?"

"Wow, so that's your car? Looks cool!" Scott said to Kaz.
"Yep! My Galaxy Falgor!" Kaz said proudly, as he was making sure it was still clean. It was the evolved form of Falgor. It was white with red and orange accents on the car with a yellow spoiler on the back that was shaped to look like a falcon's tail. At the front, above the car was a yellow part of the car that was made to look similar to a falcon's face, from its eyes to a beak. Its rims were red-orange.
"So can that car do cool stuff like Myron's can? Let me guess….. if Myron's can go underwater like a shark, then yours can fly." Scott guessed.
"Yep! But that's not all it can do!" Kaz said.
"So what else can it do?" Scott asked.
"That'd spoil the fun! Hopefully you'll get to see it in action in the next challenge." Kaz said, a wide grin on his face.
Diego was sitting with Libby. As he was happily humming a song to himself while eating a bag of donuts, he happened to look over and see Libby making something.
"Hey, that-" Diego started.
"Nothing! It's nothing." Libby said, quickly putting it away.
Diego looked away for a seconds. He pulled out another donut from the bag but stopped.
"Hey, I've got some extra snacks with me. Want some?" Diego said, pulling out unopened chips, a candy bar and another bag of donuts from his backpack, these donuts being chocolate instead of the lemon glazed donuts he was currently eating.
"N-no thanks." Libby said.
"Come on, I insist! I know the food here hasn't exactly been the best so it's the least I could do." Diego said, a friendly smile on his face.
"But you hardly even know me. Why would you share your snacks with me?"
"Better question. Why wouldn't I?" Diego said, still smiling.
"Can I have the donuts please?"
"Sure thing!" Diego said, handing her the bag of donuts.
A "Yes!" was heard two seats behind the two before Molly quickly put sat back down. She was sitting next to Hinata.
"Well, looks like your plan worked!" Hinata said.
"Not so loud." Molly said.
"Sorry."
"But yeah, of course it did."
"You wouldn't be saying that if it didn't work." Scratch said to Molly, who Hinata couldn't see.
"But it did, right?"
"Uh, who are you talking to?" Hinata asked, confused.
"Oh! Uh, no one! I'll be right back." Molly said, leaving.
Girls' Bathroom
"No! No! No! Absolutely not! That's way too many people Molly!" Scratch said.
"Of course I'm not asking for everyone." Molly said.
"And not everyone on the team either." Scratch said.
"Pleeease? Everyone can see Bennett. What's one little ghost going to do? Besides, it doesn't have to be anyone outside of the show. That's a bit much." Molly said, giving him a pleading face.
"Fine! But only for the people that I know aren't jerks. Which means, that Haizaki guy? No way. I'm gonna keep scaring him whenever I want." Scratch said.
"Deal! And I really think we should do this whenever they feel comfortable. And Haizaki too. He'll come around."
Scratch only gave her a deadpan look before saying, "I'm a ghost. What do you think's going to happen? They're going to give me a hug? Not everyone's as accepting as you."
"Just do Hinata first." Molly said.
"Fine." Scratch said.
They go back to the main area of the plane.
"Again?" Toxsa said after losing another round of the video game he and Miyuki were playing. Who only gave him a mischievous grin.
Hinata was heard yelling.
"Maybe he's yelling because of your horrible gaming skills." Miyuki said.
"No he's not! He's like three seats in front of us! I know you're doing that just to troll! And honestly, it's working." Toxsa said, a little upset, but honest with himself.
"Okay! Ready for another beating?" Miyuki asked, very loud, a wide grin on his face.
"One more round! This time I'm gonna win!" Toxsa said only for the game to suddenly turn off. "Sorry, I changed my mind. My hands hurt. We'll continue this later, eh?" Miyuki said before pulling out his phone.
"They don't hurt enough for you to use that phone!" Toxsa said angrily.
"Ah, but this phone doesn't have buttons!" Miyuki said.
"THERE'S BUTTONS ON THE SIDE! You've got to use those to turn it on." Toxsa said.
Miyuki double taps the phone and turns it on.
At that point, Toxsa was just done. "This guy."

"Well, really and truly, Mike won this season. But I decided to enter without him." Zoey said to Bakura.
"Really? Why not? I would think you two working together would increase your chances of winning." Bakura said.
"Well maybe but…. if I was going to enter, I'd rather do it without him. Or Cameron. Which is why I'm kinda glad that we're not on the same team. The past two seasons I've been here we've all been on the same team."
"I see. So you're trying to prove you can win on your own." Bakura said.
"That's the plan." Zoey said. "And what about you? Any reason you've chosen to enter?"
"Well, it's really to have fun more than anything else. Although winning money for college would be nice too." Bakura said.
"College huh? Smart move. 10 mil is more than enough." Zoey said. "If you don't mind me asking, what would you do with the rest?"
"Honestly? Other than sharing it with Yugi, Joey and my other friends, I'm not sure. That's a lot of money." Bakura said.
"Fair. 10 million is a lot of money. I don't think a lot of people here would know what to do with all of it." Zoey said. "I'm a little curious though. With who's on our team, and on the others, is there anything special you can do that'd be interesting to note?"
"Not really. Other than Duel Monsters I can't really say much else." Bakura said.
"Duel Monsters. What's that?"
"Well, it's a card game." Bakura said, showing her his deck. "It's hard to explain everything here since it's so complex but, you basically summon monsters and have them do battle with one another. Enhancing them with spells and sometimes traps. The goal isn't just to defeat the monsters, but to deplete your opponent's life points to zero. But again, the most important thing is strategy. Even some of the most powerful monsters and decks can be defeated if your strategy is sound enough." Bakura said, showing some of his cards. "For example, this Change of Heart spell card allows you to take control of a monster your opponent owns until your turn ends. Unless there's a monster that explicitly can't be affected by spell cards or other cards are used to stop it, you can use this any opponent's monster. This can easily turn the tides of a game in your favor and can even decide a game."
"Seems like it really does take a lot of strategy." Zoey said. "Cameron would be great at a game like this."
"Perhaps. You know, with how popular Duel Monsters is, I think it would be neat for there to be some way to make learning the game more accessible. Like online tutorials."
"Even then, with how complicated it seems to be, you'd still have to play on your own to really master it I'd think."
"Well said. Joey wasn't exactly a good duelist himself when he first learned how to play. Now look at him. He might not have won a tournament but he's still an incredible duelist. I think he actually competed here, come to think of it."
"Wait, here? On Total Drama?"
"I believe so."
"That's interesting. Do you know how far he got?"
"I'm not sure. I guess I would have to ask him."
"Well if he got pretty far and he played Duel Monsters like you, then I think you've got a shot."
"Thanks!"

"Zoey seems like a very nice person. If nothing else, I'll be happy if I made some friends here, even if I don't win."

Yami Bakura(Wave Breakers):
"It's a good thing that I'm here. This fool, worried about friendship will end up losing the game! No matter. From what I've seen so far, this team looks like it can handle itself. If keeping a low profile until the end is what it takes to win then so be it. I don't care. Besides, Haizaki is already doing the work for me when it comes to drawing away attention from myself. He barely said a thing until the end yesterday and he already riled up one of the opposing team members. Lucy me that I get to be on the same team as him."

After going through a portal, the planes started to arrive to their destination.
East Side City(Air Gear)
The planes touched down and landed in the grass. From the looks of things, they were in a park.
"Okay, next time we go to a place like this, we're going by bus. This is kinda awkward." Chris said as several people were looking at the planes.
"Ya think?" Heloise said, before changing all three vehicles to buses after everyone stepped out of the planes.
"Finally! The nightmare is over!" Natsu said, starting to get back to his normal self.
"Welcome to East Side City guys! Or in the case of the Storm Kings, welcome back!" Chris said.
"So this is where you guys went?" Kise asked Aomine.
"Yep. Did some roller skating here." Aomine said.
"Roller skating huh? Should be interesting." Yulaw said.

Rei(Radical Rats):
"Wish Makoto was here. She's incredible at ice skating. Not the same thing but I don't think she'd have too much trouble with this either. Can't promise I'll do well, but I'll give it my best." She said, referring to her friend and fellow Sailor Guardian Makoto Kino AKA Sailor Jupiter.

"Right now, the four that will introduce this challenge to you are on their way. Feel free to look around and explore until they arrive." Chris said.
"Exploration huh? Wonder if there's somewhere we can get something to eat." Natsu said.
"Or go shopping!" Rei, May and Lucy said simultaneously.
"Hey, I'm down to grabbin' a bite." Kagami said.
"Same here." Sendo said.
"Do those three share the same brain cell or something?" Lucy asked.
"What brain cell?" Courtney said.
"Good point." Lucy said.
"Actually, that sounds like a great idea." Kuroko said, appearing in front of the three, scaring all of them. "Do you mind if I join you guys?"
"STOP DOING THAT!" Sendo said.
"Dude, how do you keep doing that? Are you some type of ghost or something?" Natsu asked.
"What? No." Kuroko said, still keeping his low, monotone voice. Furuya joined them.
"You're coming too?" Natsu asked.
Furuya nodded. "Yes. Please."
Miyuki tapped him in the back as he smiled before getting beside him. "No need to be so formal!" He said, smiling. "We're all friends here."
"THEY'RE THE ENEMY!" Eijun yelled, pointing at them before his stomach growled before he laughed a little. "Though, I guess that only applies for the challenges."
"You don't mind if I leave too do you?" Heloise asked.
"Hey, it's fine with me. But keep in mind that you're paying for anything you buy or damage! All of you! I'm not responsible!" Chris said.
"Good. I can purchase my lucky item for the day." Midorima said.
"You're still on that? Who pays for something like that?" Lucy commented.
"Mind your own business." Midorima said, pushing up his glasses before leaving.
"He's got a point. Why do you need to pay for all of those outfits?" Happy asked.
"That's different!" Lucy said.
"Is it really?" Noah asked.
"YES!"
"I don't know….." Happy said.
"GO AWAY YOU DUMB CAT!"
Rocky, Puss, Rook and Blaze all looked at her.
"Sorry. I meant this one." Lucy said, feeling their stares.
"Sebastian! Lucy's being mean!" Happy said.
"What's he going to do? He's not even on our team."
"Is that so…" Sebastian said, a menacing look on his face. "Now then, what would possess you to treat these innocent cats this way?"
"I uh, have to go to the bathroom! Bye!" Lucy said before quickly running away.
"Don't worry, she won't hurt you anymore." Sebastian said, holding up Happy.
"Sebastian?"
"What is it you adorable little kitten?"
"Do you have anything to eat?"
"Unfortunately I do not." Sebastian said, sadly. "I would prepare something, but I have nowhere to cook. I am so sorry."
"Hey Happy, you can just come with us." Natsu said.
"Chow time! Let's go!" Happy celebrated.
Jotaro also left, but went in a different direction than they did.

Sebastian(Storm Kings):
"I must admit that I am jealous of the gentlemen on the team with those adorable little cats. Personally, I adore all of them and their interesting little personalities. Blaze is the hardest one to read, but that's what makes her even more adorable. Although the one named Rook on our team seems like he'll be one hell of a competitor for challenges I'd say."

"Hey, kid." Mr. Wolf said, going to Diego, who was eating a bag of chips.
"Hm?" Diego said, looking over as he dug for another chip. "Aw man. Out already?" He balled up the chip bag and held it until he could find the nearest trash can, or preferably for him, a recycling bin.
"What's up?" Diego asked.
"Hey uh, sorry for what I said about Scan2Go a couple of days ago. I really didn't mean anything by it. Honest." Mr. Wolf said.
"Don't worry about it!" Diego said, dismissively as he smiled. "If you thought what Myron did was cool you haven't anything yet! My Rock Giamoth can hold its own too you know!"
"I'll bet." Mr. Wolf said before he breathed a sigh of relief. With that burden off him he went to the next question. "That Shiro guy. He said he joined your team later on. Is that true?"
"Yeah, he did!"
"Probably a dumb question but, what do you think of him?"
"What do I think of him?" Diego repeated before taking a second before answering. "Well, in terms of racing he's incredible! But just as a person he's alright with me!" He said, giving a thumbs up. "Why'd you ask?"
"He's been pretty silent that's all." Mr. Wolf said.
"Oh that. That's Shiro for ya." Diego said, smiling.
"Good to know. Thanks." Mr. Wolf said.
"You're welcome!" Diego said.

(Wave Breakers):
"So on one hand, apologizing to him is easy since he doesn't seem like the type of person to hold a grudge. But on the other, when it comes to asking for opinions, I'm gonna have to go to someone else. Fiona seems like someone that'll be the most honest with me. Not saying he wasn't being honest. But he seems like someone that isn't gonna try to find anything bad about someone to say if you asked him about them. Nothing wrong with being a nice guy. But sometimes you need to be not so nice ya know? But yeah, Fiona'll be pretty hard to talk after what I said. Probably third to Kaz and Shiro. I saw how she can get when she's mad yesterday. Or at least heard it."

"I see you've made a new friend." Molly said to Libby.
"Who, Diego? Nah. He was just being nice. We are teammates after all." Libby said.
"Being nice is the first to friendship!"
"I'm telling you, it's only because we're teammates. Besides, no one could replace you as my best friend." Libby said.
"There is a such thing as regular friends you know. He could be that." Molly said.
"Kid? A moment?" Scratch said to Molly.
"Sure!"
On a bench at the park, Molly talks to Scratch.
"Look, I know you're trying to help. But, don't you think it'd be better if you just laid off? Give her some space?"
"I have to make sure she follows the checklist. Otherwise things might go horribly wrong!" Molly said, pulling out the friendship checklist.
"And there's a chance you could make things worse. I know you want to help, but sometimes the best help you could do is nothing at all. Heck, I think I'm a master at that." Scratch said. "I know I don't exactly radiate 'sunshine, friendship, rainbows' like you do, but I'm your friend. I've got ghost friends. Shouldn't that make me a little credible?"
Molly looks down, staring at the checklist for a few seconds before putting it away. "Okay. No checklist. We'll let her do things….. the Libby way."
"Promise?"
"Promise!"
Molly takes out the list again to mark something. "Molly!"
"I wasn't doing anything! I was just…. crossing something out!" She said, quickly putting away the list.
"Suuuuure." Scratch said skeptically before giving her the "I'm watching you" gesture.

Molly(Wave Breakers):
"The reason why I wanted her to come is not just because she's my friend and well….. the more the merrier, but also because I want her to make new friends here too. I'm just trying to make sure that everything goes perfectly." She said before pulling out the list. "Now. What's next?"
"Uh, Molly, you realize I'm here too right?" Scratch said.
"Oh! Uh… I was just…. using the bathroom! Yep!" She abruptly leaves the confessional.
"You see what I've got to deal with?" Scratch said to the camera, though he couldn't be seen.
"Put that list away or there will be consequences! Maybe! I'll come up with something! Look, just put the list away!" He said, going after her.

"So, how was the flight?" Marinette asked Adrien as they walked through the park with several kids playing, dogs running around, or people simply jogging or finding other ways to enjoy themselves.
"Not good. I know it's not much but that's the best I could describe it." Adrien said. "Everyone else being there were the only redeeming qualities."
"Note to self. Don't get economy class." Marinette said.
"Economy? More like economy economy." Adrien said.
"That bad huh?"
"Saying bad is describing it lightly. Just know, that you don't want economy class. It's not anything too unbearable like no seats or anything like that. I won't get that dramatic. That's something up Chloe's alley. 'Ew! Look at that grease! I can't sit here! Daddy! I want you to call Chris and demand he gets me a clean seat now!'"
"Guess Kise's not the only copycat around here." Marinette said, laughing a little.
"Kise might be a copycat, but I'm the original. But they do say imitation is the best form of flattery." Adrien said.
"Does that apply to you and Chloe?"
"Can we make an exception?"
"Knowing Chloe, she doesn't need flattery. 'I'm already perfect'."
"That's a good one." Adrien said before realizing something. "I'm guessing the others told you about what Kise can do."
"Yeah. It's some pretty interesting stuff. At least for basketball players."
"I know. Being able to just copy moves by looking at them once? That's incredible. Forget practice. If I can look at a move once and then just do it I should be covered."
"If he can copy that stuff, he'd probably be an incredible artist, or designer. Or just great at school in general." Marinette said.
"I never even thought about that. He's gotta be a genius."
"When the heck did I get stuck paying for all of this…" Kise said, confused. He was kind enough to be willing to pay for Natsu since the restaurant didn't except the few Jewels he had, but Miyuki had tricked him into paying for him, Eijun and Furuya as well, pretending that he couldn't find his wallet, only to "realize" that he put it in a different pocket than he's used to.
"Sorry. I'll pay you back!" Miyuki said, grinning, but already trying to come up with a way to not have to.
"Don't worry about it." Kise said, waving it off.
"I still don't get why this stupid restaurant didn't take my Jewels." Natsu said as he and the others were all at a table.
"Because that's not real money you idiot. That ain't even jewels!" Sendo said.
"What? Yes it is!" Natsu said.
"No it's not!"
"Are you calling me lying scammer with fake Jewels?" Natsu said, as they started to get in each other's faces.
"Yeah! 'Cause those aren't jewels! Do I gotta show you a picture or somethin'!?"
"You don't have to show me anything! Because what I have is real!"
"No it's not!"
"Yes it is!"
"Is not!"
"Is too!"
"That's it! Maybe if I hit your a*s in the head, you'll see that s*itty a*s fake money ain't jewels!" Sendo said. A/N: All of this is not being recorded so no censorship is needed. Camera crew can't follow everyone and Chris isn't willing to spend a crazy amount on trying to record everyone.
"So you wanna fight huh!?" Natsu said.
A door opened. Someone with blue hair entered as he was wearing headphones. He stopped as he saw everyone else there.
"Aominecci!" Kise said, a welcoming smile on his face.
"Aomine!?" Kagami said.
"The hell are you doing here!?" Aomine said.
"To chow down obviously." Natsu said, calming down. Aomine entering unknowingly prevented him and Sendo from getting into a fight.
"I'm not even really talking to you. I'm saying it more to Kagami than anyone else." Aomine said.
"Look man, I'm just tryin' to get somethin' to eat. If you saw what was served on economy you'll know why." Kagami said.
"Great. Alright. Guess I better get to orderin' somethin'." Aomine said after sighing. He goes to pick up a menu after sitting next to Kise. Sure, it was annoying. But he was not about to go through all of that effort to find a restaurant with food he wanted just because they were there. It would have been a waste of time.
"How do you guys know each other anyway? Are you from the same guild or something? Friends?" Natsu asked Kise, Kuroko and Kagami about each other and Aomine.
"A guild? What's that?" Kise asked.
"Guilds are groups of people that come together to find work for jobs. In Natsu and Lucy's case, they're a part of the Fairy Tail guild." Happy explained.
"That's right. I know it's not the same for everyone, but for me, every single one of the people at Fairy Tail are more than just people I get jobs with. They're family. Like Happy! Even though I don't get along with Gray too much. But even so, we'll all still fight for each other." Natsu said. Hearing this snapped Furuya out of his thoughts.
"Furuya, you okay?" Kise asked.
Furuya nods.
"Fightin' for each other huh? I think I get where you're comin' from. I may not be familiar with magic, but that's definitely something I understand." Kagami said.
Kise nods. "Yeah. I get it. I guess you could say I'm the same way with Kaijo. Hard to believe there was a point in time that I wasn't."
"Is Kaijo like the place you're from?" Natsu asked.
"No you idiot. We're from Earth obviously." Aomine said.
"Well I didn't know! That's why I was asking!" Natsu said.
"Please don't start fighting." Kise said.
Everyone's food had arrived.
"Alright! Now we're talkin'." Sendo said.
"Thanks!" Kise said to the person that served their food.
"Finally! I'm starving!" Natsu said.
Kuroko noticeably had the least out of all of them.
"Is that really all you wanted Kuroko?" Natsu said, surprised that he only got Okonomiyaki. Which again was so little compared to what the others got. Even Kise and Furuya had more and they're not considered to have insatiable appetites like Kagami, Sendo and Natsu.
"Yes. I'm fine with this. Although I wish they had vanilla milkshakes." Kuroko said.
Aomine had several Teriyaki burgers, his favorite food. Kagami also had Teriyaki burgers, although he preferred American cheeseburgers as those were his favorite. He also had Shrimp Tempura. Kise was eating onion gratin soup, his favorite food. Eijun had steak. Furuya had the same thing although he asked for more water compared to Eijun who had juice. Miyuki had pasta. Natsu had several soups and meats. Happy had a bowl full of fish. Sendo was eating sliders with fries.
"Copying me huh? I see you're catching on to try and learn from the best!" Eijun said, smiling. Although Furuya didn't respond, simply cutting into his steak.
"STOP IGNORING ME!"
"With all of that yelling, anyone would ignore you eventually." Miyuki said, smiling.
"I should ignore you guys, see what happens then!" Eijun said.
"To answer your question Natsu, Kaijo is the school I go t-" Kise said before the door opens again. Someone was wearing a tiger mask, scaring Natsu, Eijun, and Furuya, who, although he wasn't vocal like the other two, had it written on his face.
"WHAT THE HECK IS THAT?" Eijun said.
They turned around and was about to walk back out.
"Midorimacci?" Kise said, recognizing the green hair when he turned around to leave, which caused the person to stop.
"Wait, you're right. That is him! Why the heck is he wearing that?" Kagami said.
"It's a mask? He looks kinda dumb." Natsu said.
"IT'S MY LUCKY ITEM YOU IDIOTS!" Midorima yelled, turning back around.
"You're the idiot. You look like a clown. Who the hell walks around wearing a tiger mask?" Sendo asked.
"I wouldn't put it past him to do something like that. That's just how he is." Aomine said.
"Wait, where'd you go to get the mask?" Kise asked.
"I purchased it from a store." Midorima said.
This caused Miyuki and Natsu to laugh. "You actually bought that from a store? Just because it was your lucky item?" Miyuki said. "What an idiot."
Midorima was blushing out of embarrassment and anger under the mask. "That's it. I simply came here to purchase a meal. I did not come here to be mocked. I'm leaving."
He said, turning around but was promptly almost hit by the hilt of Ryoma's sword as he, Falcon and Ayame entered the restaurant.
"Watch where you're going!" Midorima said.
"Ryoma, put the sword away!" Ayame said.
"Huh? Oh. Sorry." Ryoma said, putting the sword back in its holster.
Yang and Ruby were the next ones to enter, also almost bumping into Midorima, but scaring Ruby.
"What the heck is that!?" Ruby said, scared.
"Calm down sis. It's just some guy wearing a mask. For some reason." Yang said.
"Do I have to keep repeating myself? It's my lucky item!" Midorima said.
"Wait, Midorima?" Ruby said before laughing. "Why are you wearing that silly mask?"
"Silly? I think it's kinda adorable!" Ayame said.
Ruby out of all people laughing at him was the last straw with Ayame adding salt into the wound. He was about to leave before Ben and Rook also walked in and saw everyone else with the others looking at him.
"Well this is awkward." Ben said.
"Very awkward indeed." Rook said. Midorima, caving in, instead of being risking being knocked out from someone else walking in, decided to just stay and order.
Jotaro was seen at a noodle shop waiting in line.
"Thanks." Someone wearing a dress shirt and khaki pants said, being handed their receipt.
"You're welcome. Next in line please!" A teen with brownish red eyes and purple hair, wearing an unzipped red jacket with blue jeans and a white t-shirt underneath said.
"Hey! What can I get for you?" He asked.
"Chicken Ramen. Jinya." Jotaro said.
"Is that all for you?"
Jotaro nodded.
"Alrighty then."
Jotaro paid with him being handed the receipt right after.
"Ikki! We got a delivery!" A voice called out.
"I'll take care of it!" He called out.
"Well, for once I'm kinda glad I get to go moving for a delivery." He said before someone came in, giving him the order details.
"Of course it's his fata*s again." He said, looking at the name of the person that was ordering along with the address. The name on it was Issa Mihotoke.
"Someone will be here with your order in a bit. Enjoy!" He said to Jotaro before quickly leaving.
"And don't do any stupid sh*t with those ATs!" The same voice from earlier called out.
"I know! I know! No ATs!" He said.
"You would think he'd want me to use 'em to make things go faster." He said to himself as he grabbed the order and left out of the restaurant.
Along with Marinette and Adrien, Weiss and Akashi were also walking in the park in a different area.
"I know from firsthand experience how quiet people are. After all, I know Blake. But Mayuzumi. He seems….. different. Like he's distant. Sometimes, it's not like he's not even there." Weiss said.
"You know, you could say Kuroko was the same way. I suppose that's why I saw similarities between him and Kuroko." Akashi said.
"Even so, at least I hear Kuroko talk sometimes. I've barely heard Mayuzumi say anything. Yeah there's silent guys on our team like Paul, Huey, Octavia, Din and Jotaro. But you know they're here. You can feel their presence. If that makes sense." Weiss said.
"I understand what you mean." Akashi said.
"It just doesn't make any sense. He was upset at being ignored yet he's not making any effort to make others acknowledge him. And yeah, I get it. Sometimes it takes a bit to open up to people. But for him, how long is that going to be? He doesn't say much on the flights. In the mansions, or even during the challenge." Weiss said. "You said he went to the same school as you. And you played on a team. Basketball was it? Was he always like that?"
"Mayuzumi has never been someone outwardly vocal. And neither has Kuroko. If anything, Mayuzumi is interesting. From what I've heard from Mibuci, Nebuya and Hayama, he hasn't talked much to them either when they've tried to talk to him. Even Mayuzumi himself admitted before his graduation that he never truly felt connected to the team." Akashi said.
"Wait, Nebuya? That muscle guy?" Weiss said.
Akashi couldn't help but smile after hearing that. "Yes. That's definitely him. How do you know about him?"
"He was on the finale of the Total Drama season I was on as a guest."
"He was? Interesting. I never heard about this until now."
"Do you think maybe he came here to try to do that? Get connections?"
"I'm not sure. He hasn't said much to me either. Though it's understandable how he feels. Before I arrived, Mayuzumi was never a regular at Rakuzan. As a matter of fact, before I proposed for him to keep playing, he considered quitting the team as he didn't believe he was good enough to compete with the other players on the team. Kuroko was the same way back at Teiko." Akashi said before closing his eyes.
"I'm assuming you were the reason why Kuroko didn't quit either." Weiss guessed.
"Actually, no. There were two instances where he considered quitting. The first, Aomine convinced him to not give up. I don't know the full conversation. All I know was that whatever he said, it worked. Unlike the rest of us, Kuroko was in the third string. Even I never knew about him." Akashi said.
"Aomine? That guy? With what I've seen he looks like someone that's just lazy and as Yang saw him, a perv."
"Yes. Interesting isn't it? Despite his rebellious tendencies at times, he truly is a person that can be shown to care. Especially to Kuroko. In his own way that is. And despite all of that, there's no denying his incredible talent. What Aomine said is true. Even at Teiko, he was our ace. During the time when Nijimura was captain and when I was."
"Wait, you weren't always the captain of the team?"
"No. Nijimura was our senior. It may not seem like it, but his talent and skills are able to hold its own with ours. Not to mention his impeccable leadership. It was sudden, but during his third year he promoted me to captain. His reasons were something that out of respect for him I will not disclose without his permission. It was a lot of pressure and expectations to take on the title of captain. And even more at a school like Teiko. At my second year at that. And as a member of the Generation of Miracles, there were already eyes on us as our talents began to bloom. But I was willing to handle that pressure. After all, as a Miracle, and as a member of the Akashi family, am I really deserving of those titles if I were to run away?"
"I see. It looks like you handled it well all things considered. I'm impressed. Keeping yourself levelheaded under all of that pressure. I think that's something I can relate to. I suppose you come from a high class family as well?"
"Yes. I do. To be honest, I don't think I could ever surpass Nijimura's leadership. Being able to handle such incredible talent all at once. It's not something anyone can say they can do. And as for the second time….. well…." Akashi said before taking a deep breath. "It was more of a feeling more than anything else."
"A feeling? So you weren't sure?"
"Not exactly. It was something else. But, I also had the feeling that he wouldn't quit and continue to play in high school."
"Sorry but you're not making much sense. You had a feeling he'd quit but then you had a feeling he wouldn't? I know I don't play basketball, so there's things I obviously won't understand, but this doesn't seem like an 'I don't get it because I don't play basketball' sort of thing."
Akashi looked away for a bit.
"What was the something else? What happened to make him want to consider quitting a second time?" Weiss asked.
"Was it something that happened while you were captain?"
"Yes." Akashi admitted.
"It's okay. Everyone makes mistakes. I understand feeling ashamed about it. Unfortunately, you can't be everywhere at once." Weiss said.
"While that is true. The mistakes that I made….. they affected the entire team. I'll admit, I believed I was able to handle the team well, even when both Kise and Haizaki were there. But these mistakes were things Nijimura would never let happen." Akashi said, closing his eyes as he observed two kids playing frisbee with a dog.
"Well since you know, I guess there's no harm in telling you that you're the captain now. Akashi." Nijimura said as the two were standing in the empty school hallway in the evening time. Nijimura had short black hair with bangs parted to the left with grey eyes. He was wearing a red t-shirt with grey shorts and was noticeably taller than Akashi.
"It hasn't been decided yet." Akashi said. At that time, he was shorter, and was currently wearing a grey t-shirt with blue shorts.
"It basically has though. After hearing what I said you still want me to be the captain?" Nijumura said.
Akashi gave no response. There was nothing but the wind in the background before Nijumura broke the silence.
"You're nervous?" Nijimura asked.
"No." Akashi said. "It's just that I'm worried about you Nijimura."
"I'm sure you are." Nijumura said, smiling. "However, I have zero worries." He said, before turning around and was about to leave the school. "I'll be counting on you. Captain Akashi."
"Right." Akashi said, still standing in the same place he was in before.
"Look, I get it, Nijimura seems great from what you're telling me. But you're your own person. Your own captain. He probably made mistakes too. If Nijumura is as great as you're describing him to be, don't you think there's a reason why he trusted you more than the others? Midorima could have been captain too. He seems like a serious person. And Aomine could have been captain because of his strength if he's the ace. But he chose you. And from the outside looking in, they seem like better players than you. Yet you're still chosen as the captain. Nebuya looked stronger than you. I don't know how the others are but if they're like him, you're the captain of that team too. I think it's safe to say that you're doing a better job than you think you are." Weiss said.
Akashi looks at her for a moment after she says this before closing his eyes. "Of course. If I wasn't, Rakuzan would have demoted me. Thank you." He said, smiling at her.
"Don't thank me. Thank yourself for being a good leader. I was just telling you something that's already true." Weiss said, smiling back.
Hanamiya was walking past the two not too far from where they were but not directly in front of them as they never noticed him. He had hands in his pockets, earbuds in as rock music played with the lyrics being loud enough for them to be heard by any passerby.

Steal your breath, it's about to begin, it's about time for it to come into effect
It's too late even if you notice it)

As they continued to walk through the park, they saw Nimona playing with Mona, with Nimona shapeshifting into a bat and in another area and Akko reading one of Luz's Good Witch of Azura books, being amazed at how similar Azura was to Shiny Chariot.
"You know, it's insane how similar Azura is to Shiny Chariot." Akko said to Luz.
"Who's that?" Luz asked.
Akko pulls out one of her Chariot cards, with said picture of the witch on it. She had short red hair, matching red eyes and wore a white stylized tailcoat vest with long sleeves, a blue skirt, a nd a brown body belt with a golden ring-shaped buckle. She also wore a white wich hat with a blue hatband and a red and blue diamond/spade-like symbol with a golden four-pointed star in the middle with a red cape.
"This her!" Akko said.
"You know, you're kinda right. She does look like Azura a little." Luz said. "Does she still do magic?"
"Well, sort of. Shiny Chariot is just her performer name."
"Oh? What does she do now?"
"Well…. she's my one of my teachers at Luna Nova!" Akko said.
"Really!? You're idol is your teacher!? That's so awesome!" Luz said.
"Yeah! Actually, I didn't know it at first. At the time she went under a different name."
"Why? Was it to hide the fact that she was famous?"
"Sort of. But not for the reason you might think. Her reason for being a performer was to make people smile. Her audience expected more after some of her other amazing shows. So they expected every show to be better than the last. But it just became too much. In her last show, she accidentally drained the audience of their dormant magical abilities. I was one of those people there when it happened. She retired since then and disappeared. I'm not sure when but she eventually became a teacher at Luna Nova. But she went under a different name. Ursula Callistis. Usually I don't call her that though." Akko explained, smiling at the end. "Of course, I'd call her professor. For obvious reasons."
"All of that pressure to try and please everyone. That's too much for one person to handle. She lost all of her confidence."
"Yeah. She wanted to make everyone smile but it just backfired on her. Thankfully though, she no longer feels ashamed to hide who she is. And, seeing my friends and I really be inspired to want to do magic helped out with that."
"That's really great to hear. You know, I kind of had a teacher myself when it came to magic."
"Really? What school did you go to?"
"I didn't go to any school actually. I went to another realm. The Demon Realm."
"Demon Realm huh? Never heard of it."
"Oh, right. Multiverse stuff."
"So who's your teacher? Does she do shows?"
"Eda? No. Not to brag buuuut… right now she's the headmaster for the University I want to go to."
"WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!?"
"Yep! I used to go to Hexside before then."
"Okay, okay! Stupid question but, you're from…. The demon realm?"
"No. I'm from Earth! Not your Earth. Or this one. I think."
"Oh. So how did you get there?"
"I stumbled upon it. Long story. Not sure if you want to hear it."
"Go ahead!"
"Cool!"
As Luz told her story to Akko, Weiss asked Akashi about Haizaki.
"You said you were in charge of the team when both Kise and Haizaki were there. How did you handle him? Haizaki that is?"
"Ah, I'm assuming you're saying that because of his behavior. I attempted to try to tolerate him. Even after Kise joined during our second year."
"Considering that none of you consider him to be a part of that group of Miracles, looks like that didn't turn out well."
"Unfortunately. I asked him to quit."
"And he just accepted it? Doesn't seem like the type of guy to do that."
"Yes. He did. I suppose he knew trying to protest would have been futile and would have put him in a bad light."
"You mean a worse one. Look at how he acts. Doesn't look like he's changed much."
"I suppose you're right. Although he seems to have calmed himself." Akashi said.
"Seems like it. But then again, we're on different teams. We have no idea what goes on in the third plane." Weiss said.
"Fair."
"Hey, you're looking good. What's your name? How's about I get your number?" Haizaki said to the cashier, leaning into to the register as he was buying some snacks and a sports drink. The girl he was talking to had brown hair tied into a bun with pale skin and was wearing the store uniform. But that didn't conceal her rather attractive figure, something that Haizaki caught onto quickly. Although he could also tell that she was also the shy type.
"Thank you, but no thanks." She started, blushing as she smiled as she was scanning the items.
"HURRY UP!" Launch said, who had blonde hair, yelled out to Haizaki.
"She's gotta ring me up. Sheesh. Tell her that." Haizaki said.
"Doesn't seem like that's all that's happening. Seriously, hurry it up already." Lucy said, behind Launch in line.
"Alright alright. Hey write that number on the receipt will ya?" Haizaki said.
"Come on already! Let's go!" Fiona said, impatiently, behind Julie, Rei and Lucy.
"Damn, even the kids are pilin' onto me?" Haizaki said.
After paying for the items and taking the receipt he left. "Watch me on Total Drama today! I'm gonna kill it!" He said to her as he was walking away.
"Yeah right." Rei said, rolling her eyes.
"Who does this guy think he is?" Lucy said.
"I don't really say this much, but I don't think I'm too much of a fan of him. Sucks too. If he had a better personality, he might have been dating potential. Kise however….." Julie said.
"Really?" Fiona said, a deadpan look on her face.
"Yep!"
"Move up in the line please." Fiona said, not about to hear her fawning over Kise or anyone else.
Hiruma was practicing with Monta, Eyeshield, and surprisingly Morty.
"Skinny boy! Catch!" Hiruma said before throwing the ball Morty's way.
"W-wait, wha-"
"HAAAAAAA!" Hiruma said, throwing the ball a distance too far for Morty to reach. He tried to run to get it but he just couldn't.
"MAX CATCH!"
After Eyeshield runs, Monta jumps off of him and catches it.
"Are you crazy? How the heck was I supposed to catch that?" Morty asked.
"For starters, you could have tried more." Hiruma said.
"But I was!"
"No you weren't." Hiruma said.
"Hiruma, why are you doing this? He's clearly not an athlete. At least give him something easier." Mamori said.
Hiruma shot a rifle at a tree right above Mamori's head.
"Fine then. I'll give him something easier." Hiruma said as Eyeshield zipped towards Hiruma and handed him the ball back in a flash.
"HAAAAAAA!" Hiruma said, tossing it again.
"What the hell!? You didn't even say to get ready!" Morty said.
Hiruma shot towards the ground at him, trying to jump and avoid the bullets. "YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN READY F[CENSORED]ING SLENDERMAN!"
Eyeshield zipped and ran to get the ball. Within a few seconds, he was already back.
"Peewee! Throw it!" Hiruma said.
Eyeshield was surprised, but he decided to throw it anyway.
Hiruma ran and went to try and catch it and although it was out of his reach, it was close as he tried to dive for it.
"You couldn't even catch it either!" Morty said.
"So what?" Hiruma said.
"So you can't tell me anything about being unable to catch those!" Morty said.
"Slender boy! Go long!" Hiruma said.
"It's not slender boy….. my name…. is MORTY!" He said, getting angry as he ran harder as the ball was in the air before catching it. Although he didn't notice the tree or the fact that someone was there reading. He dived for it but ended up hitting his head.
"Morty!" Eyeshield, Monta and Mamori called out.
"Hey! Hey! Are you okay?" A voice said as he opened his eyes. A girl with glasses was trying to tap on him with Eyeshield next to him.
"Huh? Oh yeah." He said before seeing the football in his hands. "Yeah! I'm definitely okay! I caught it!"
"You sure? You hit your head pretty hard." The girl said. It was Lotte.
"Yeah. Hey! I caught it!" Morty said to Eyeshield.
"That's great!" Eyeshield said, smiling.
"Not bad skinny man!" Hiruma said, hitting him on the back.
"Did you not hear me earlier? I said my name is Morty!"
"Alright, I'm gonna get something to eat." Hiruma said.
"Wait, that's it?" Morty said.
Mamori ran to catch up to Hiruma.
"What was that all about?" Mamori asked.
"I already know what the f[censored]ing old man can do. I wanted to see for myself about Morty."
"What? Why?"
"Because… he's useful." Hiruma said, smiling.
***Confessional***
Hiruma(Radical Rats):
"I took some time to watch Morty in Multiverse Edition during the flight here. He didn't do much but I can see what happens when he gets upset and what he can do even without being upset. The problem is, no one else can see that because he's in that f[censored]ing old man's shadow. I told you, not a single person on this team is useless. Even Dragonfly could have been used as a distraction for challenges had he stayed."

"Thunder now!" Paul commanded. Electivire begins to charge a thunder.
"Sorry, but that's not going to work again!" Maki said, running at Electivire with quick speed, using a long naginata as her weapon, which was one of her cursed tools. "It's too easy though. He knows I've already seen that move, so why is he doing it again? He's planning something. I should probably stay back. Attack him from a distance." She thought.
"Now!"
"What?" Maki said before Electivire grabbed the naginata. She lets go of it, jumping back before going in for an attack only to be sent back by a thunder blast.
"Not bad." Maki said.
"Electivire return!" Paul said, calling it back.
"Not impressed." Paul said.
"Can't say I feel the same way about you. Not bad. Using the fact that I rely on long range attacks to your advantage and countering." Maki said, smiling.
"So? With how you were fighting anyone could figure that out." Paul said.
"Maybe. But you were willing to use the same move that I already saw and got around before to try and make me think twice. For some, if they see a move doesn't work, usually they're not going to try it again out of fear of getting punished for it even worse. You? Nope. Personally, I think that's a good thing as long as you've really got a plan out of it. If not, then yeah, it's pretty boneheaded." Maki said.
Paul didn't respond.
"And just so you know, I've got way more cursed tools and surprises up my sleeve. And judging from the fact that you have more than one of those Pokemon, you've got some extra surprises too looks like." Maki said.
"Whatever." Paul said before walking away. "Thanks for the training." He said. After seeing Paul training with Electivire, Maki was intrigued and volunteered to help out via sparring seeing it was fully capable of fighting.
"This team isn't lacking confidence that's for sure." Maki said, smiling as she picked up her naginata.
***Confessional***
Paul(Storm Kings):
"After hearing that she held back I'm not satisfied. When she asked about sparring I expected her to use everything at her disposal. Anything less than that isn't helpful."

Richie was looking at Myron's specs of his Storm Slazor.
"Wow. This is some incredible tech packed into this one car. Material analysis, data analysis, track searching, resistance to different environments, especially water, detachable front, turbo boost system. Sure, it's stats are pretty leveled out, but it's got some game changing abilities. I can see why you guys are so passionate about these machines." Richie said, looking at his laptop, which was connected to Backpack after it scanned Slazor.
"Yep! Compared to most other machines Slazor has balanced stats. Nothing to shout about but no particular weaknesses either."
"And that's its specialty. Its abilities. Sure, having strength or speed is one thing. But the brain? That's something you can take everywhere. You use it every day so why not?" Richie said.
"Exactly!" Myron said. "As Coach Dile taught us, having a better understanding of your machine's capabilities allows you to do things with it that you'd probably wouldn't think possible."
"In other words, getting creative. Question, if yours focuses on that, then what can the others do? Gonna be honest, out of all I've seen from the Bakugan to the Monusno and Pokemon, I'm more interested in your machines. Though I guess I'm a bit biased since I'm into more technical stuff."
"I'd be more than happy to tell you. For Kaz's Galaxy Falgor, its biggest strength is its speed. Its signature ability is the wings on it, allowing it to fly. Keep in mind though, it can't fly at will. In order for it to take off, it'll need to have already built up enough momentum before its takeoff."
"So wouldn't it just be gliding then?"
"No. It's requirements are similar to gliding but it's fully capable of flying without losing its height. Take a look." Myron said before showing footage of Kaz's Falgor dodging the platforms on the track in a race, flying over the water as its retractable wings were out.
"Is there a limit to how long it can do that?"
"Initially, before it evolved, there was. Now, it can fly longer. But I'm not exactly sure how long. Like Slazor's abilities, the abilities of other machines uses additional power as well. So there are limits. That's exactly why machines are limited to up to two turbo boosts per race. Even some of the strongest machines can't be pushed any further than two. At least through conventional means."
"Next is Infinite Leopatra. Fiona likes to brag about how flashy it is. And while I don't exactly agree that flashiness and style is needed to win races, you can't deny its useful abilities. From lightning strikes, to wind storms, her satellite owl can be a game changer. She can also use it to scan the track, having a relative map of the area around Leopatra as it goes, picking up any opposing machines along the way. Keep in mind though that because this uses power, she can't exactly have this out roaming around, nor can she have the satellite owl blindly flying about either without a strategy as it could get taken down."
"Combine this with your analysis, and this'll be one heck of a combo."
"Then there's the muscle! Rock Giamoth! Diego's machine has the spirit of an elephant, which makes sense considering how much power and strength it has." Myron said, showing footage of Giamoth holding up a metal beam and stopping it from falling and blocking the track with its retractable hand-like sides in front of its retractable trunk on the front of it. "If it's a battle of strength, I'm confident Diego can come out on top."
"And finally, Shiro Sutherland and his Lightning Wolver. What can I say about it that doesn't make it incredible. It's not as strong as Giamoth, as flashy as Infinite Leopatra, or as analytical and adaptable as Slazor, but its speed is something that rivals Kaz's Falgor and some of the other faster machines we've raced against. But unlike Kaz's Galaxy Falgor it can't fly. But in exchange, it controls the element of ice. It can also quickly move from one place to another so fast that it looks like its teleporting. Only Shiro is able to clearly see where it's going. Not even powerful racers like Ryu and Taiga can see it. I believe only Master Hipopo has been able to read its movements but even then I'm not a hundred percent sure."
"There's also a final booster move. But because he's only used it in a race once, I don't have enough footage on it to really know or explain how it works. At least to my knowledge. You have to keep in mind that he was a late addition to the team so there were races that he participated in that I don't have any knowledge of. And even when we've raced with him on chance encounters, he never stuck around for too long. Even when his Wolver evolved, we never even knew it until after seeing him by chance again, training with Master Hipopo. So there may be other moves that Wolver has learned that we've never seen."
"Man, you guys are really geeking out over those cars." Virgil said, joining them.
"You would too if you could see what these things can do." Richie said.
"Sorry, but if its that good I'd rather be surprised. No spoilers to the movie please." Virgil said.
"Where've you been anyway?" Richie asked.
"Restaurant. Joined in with Natsu and the others." Virgil said.
"Ah, grabbin' some grub. Probably should have done that myself."
"Well, you can forget about it now. Thanks to Launch we all got kicked out." Natsu said.
"Kicked out? For what?" Richie asked.
"She shot up the damn place! That's what!" Kagami said.
"I really don't know what you're talking about! Honest!" Launch said.
"Yeah right." Kagami said.
"Was probably just going to kick her or somethin'. Hiruma and Yang got to her first. Hell, Hiruma shot at her too and made things worse." Aomine said.
"Thanks to those idiots we're all but banned." Midorima said.
"Anyways Kise, you're like swimmin' in dough from all that modeling. Why the heck are you here?" Aomine said.
"Wait, you're a model?" Eijun said.
"Hmm, I wonder if I could model. Or….. imagine Furuya as a model!" Miyuki said, thinking of Furuya posing for different magazines in his same stoic expression, causing Furuya to have a confused look on his face.
"Well, it's more to have fun more than anything else. Winning the money's fine but….. that's not really something I care about. I just thought it would be fun to enter since I've never been on reality TV." Kise answered.
"So you chose the season that I'm competing in to do it." Aomine said, giving a deadpan face. "And why the hell are you here Kagami!? Your a*s is supposed to be in America!"
"I'M TRYING TO WIN THE MONEY FOR COLLEGE ALRIGHT? I CAN'T GO TO THE NBA IF I DON'T GO TO COLLEGE YOU DUMBA*S!"
"WELL HOW THE HELL WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT? I'M NOT A MIND READER!"
"Hurry up! I'm hungry! I need to eat before the next challenge starts!" Blonde Launch yelled out.
"Do you have to be so loud? Just wait like everybody else!" Aomine said, already annoyed from Kagami.
"Shut up!" Launch said, pointing a gun at him. "I'm hungry!" Before Ben and Rook could intervene, Hiruma came in and pushed Launch out of the way to order.
"Hey, Eijun, Furuya, let's get back. It might be time for the challenge." Miyuki said to them, low.
"But why say it so low?" Furuya asked.
"We might get more time to practice! Come on!" Miyuki said.
"Hey!" Launch pointed a gun at him and started to shoot, only for Hiruma to pull out four rifles and shoot back , causing everyone to scream.
"That is enough!" Rook said before using his Proto Tool to catch Hiruma in a net and Yang to punch Launch.
Diana was quietly drinking tea from across the restaurant at a tea shop.
"So good to finally have some comfort after that plane ride." She said, about to drink more tea before Launch came flying through, spilling the tea all over her clothes.
"What is going on!? My clothes!"
Launch immediately got up and ran out of the door to go back into the restaurant.
"Come back here and explain yourself this instant!" Diana called out, only for her to be ignored.
"You have nothing to fear now!" Rook said to everyone, only for an unhappy manager to be seen.
All of them were pushed out with Launch sneezing.
"And stay out!" The manager said.
"What were you two thinking pulling out weapons in a public space?" Rook said to Hiruma and Launch only for Hiruma to kick Launch.
"F*cking dumba*s!" Hiruma said.
"What was that for?" Blue haired Launch asked.
"You literally just pulled out a gun! How do you not know what it was for?" Kise said.
"Idiots. She has two personalities." Midorima said. "You can clearly see that."
"Says the guy wearing a tiger mask." Natsu said.
"At least I'm fully capable of paying for my food and eating civilized and not like a savage." Midorima said.
"Well it's not my fault this place doesn't accept Jewels!"
"Hey, can I wear it?" Monta asked Midorima.
"No!"
As this was happening, Yulaw and Jotaro were quietly eating at two other restaurants several blocks away from them.
"Yikes." Richie said.
"Thankfully, we had the foresight to leave." Miyuki said, smiling. "So, we're free to come back."
"YOU B[CENSORED]D!" Sendo and Kagami yelled simultaneously.
"What was the point of saying that only to rub it in?" Yang said, annoyed.
"That…. was the point I think." Ben said.
Yulaw was practicing his martial arts by himself, perform several quick, short ranged attacks, stepping forward a little each time. Unlike the jumper that he was wearing on his first appearance onto the show, he decided to wear something lighter and more comfortable, wearing a gray long-sleeved shirt with black pants and black running shoes.
"A martial artist huh? Or at least an actual one." Karins aid, approaching him after seeing him practicing from a distance.
"Or a good choreographer." Yulaw said, attempting to make a joke.
"Xingyi. Aggressive. Quick. Short-ranged, but powerful. Didn't expect a nice person such as yourself to adopt a fighting style like that."
"People can be full of surprises." Yulaw said, continuing to practice.
"I assume you didn't think highly of Dragonfly either." Yulaw said.
"My only thoughts on him was that he was annoying. I refuse to believe he's actually a martial artist. Dan looks like a master compared to him."
"You mean the short guy? He's a martial artist?" Yulaw said, eyebrow raised, stopping practicing after hearing that.
"No. Not that Dan. Another one. You probably don't know him."
"And I don't really care enough to want to." He said before performing a few more moves before taking a deep breath and stopping. "Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to find something to eat. Kagami and the others had the right idea."
"So that's a no on the sparring then." Karin said, originally intending to offer a sparring match.
"If you saw the 'food' we had to eat in economy class, you'll know why most of our team left to find some food themselves." Yulaw said before leaving.
"ATTENTION! EVERYBODY NEEDS TO COME BACK IN THE NEXT 30 MINUTES OR SO! THE GUESTS ARE ABOUT TO ARRIVE! SOONER YOU GUYS GET HERE! SOONER THE CHALLENGE CAN START!" Chris announced.
"We'll be right back after these messages!" Chris said.
*Commercial Break*
"And now a Total Drama Across the Multiverse Video Message From Home! To Team JET!"
The entirety of Team JET was seen including Shiro.
A man with black hair with a red visor covering his eyes was on screen. He wore a white collared cape over a grey jumpsuit with blue accents on it and white boots. He was outside as Scan2GO cars were heard racing in a track in the background.
"Hey! It's Coach Ray here! Just here to wish you guys good luck on the competition! You've been the talk of the town on Earth in the Scan2Go parts. Naturally, it got around to me so I had to see what you guys were up to for all of that buzz to be happening. Lo and behold, I see you've entered a reality TV show! I don't know the exact reasons for it, but whatever they are, I know you guys won't give it any less than your all. And my wishes go to you too Shiro! I know you were never taught by me and you learned how to race in your own way. But as a member of Team JET, late or not, I'll give you the same treatment as if you were with us from the very beginning. And what can I say? You definitely deserve it man."
"Hey Kaz!" A boy with black hair wearing a blue vest over a matching jumpsuit was seen on the screen before a girl off screen yelled out, "Go Team JET!"
"Alright, I've let you guys talk. Now it's time to get back to practice!" Ray said, a genuine smile on his face.
"Yes, sir!" They both said.
"With you travelling to new worlds, maybe you'll bring Scan2Go to those worlds and make them big too just like you did here on Earth. I know I said this to you guys multiple times, but I couldn't be more proud of you all and what you've accomplished. And the best part about it is, you're still so young so you're not through yet!" Ray said.
"Well, that's about all I've got. Good luck! And stay safe! I'll try to watch a bit whenever I've got some free time on my hands. Show everyone the heart of a Scan2Go racer!"
"This has been a Total Drama Across the Multiverse Video Message From Home!"
"Now for a Total Drama quote from Across the Multiverse from…. Gabriel Yulaw!"
Yulaw was restrained to a chair, about to be sent to the Hades Penal Colony, where he serve his sentence for his crimes across the multiverse for the rest of his life. However, he was allowed to issue one final statement before the Council before he was teleported out, something that he would exploit to try and buy time for his girlfriend to break him out.
Yulaw: "The multiverse. Every universe in it. Is irrational. Sloppy. I try to make it rational. I try to make it neat. You call it murder. How can I murder myself 123 times? I just took those wasted energies and transferred them to one container: me. What if that is our fate? To unite with ourselves, to be unified forever. To be one. I will be The One."

Everyone started to arrive back at the park.
"Hey Diana! Sucy! Lotte! Did you know Luz als-" Akko said before noticing the stain on Diana's green button-up sweater.
"What happened?"
"Nothing to be concerned about. I'll simply ask to change clothes." Diana said to Akko.
"Uh, you didn't bring extra clothes on this trip." Akko pointed out.
***Confessional***
Diana(Radical Rats):
"You mean I'm forced to wear this!?" She said before putting her hands in her face.
***End Confessional***
"Quit being so overdramatic. It's just a stain." Sucy said.
"Yeah. I don't really see the problem. It'll probably just get dirty from the challenge anyway. Sometimes I lose my clothes in fights." Natsu said.
"That's not the same thing!" Diana said. "Besides it wasn't even my fault! It was hers!" She said, pointing to Launch.
"Oh. So that's where she went." Natsu said.
"If it makes you feel any better, we're all banned from the restaurant thanks to her and Hiruma." Yang said.
"Serves her right." Diana said.
The minute Midorima arrived, there were several people that noticed the mask he was wearing, with Diana raising an eyebrow.
"The hell is that Shintaro?" Haizaki said with Rocky being the first one to burst out with laughter.
"Wow. When you said you were serious, I didn't think you were that serious." Reagan said.
"Idiots." Midorima said. Though he was blushing from embarrassment under the mask.
"Hey, don't feel bad about it. I think it's adorable that's something you like doing!" Ruby R. said.
"Unfortunately I didn't ask for your opinion." Midorima said.
"You're so mean Midorima. She was just being nice." Kuroko said.
"Then why did she laugh at me earlier!?"
"I didn't mean anything by it. Honest!" Ruby R. said.
"When you're going around wearing stuff like that you deserve to get laughed at." Tsukishima said.
"Quiet!"
the three siblings from before reappeared along with a fourth: Shiraume. She was the shortest out of all of them, which made sense as she was the youngest out of the four sisters, being only 10 years old. She was wearing a long-sleeved white shirt with blue hair that went almost went down to her feet. Only a little of bit of her blue jeans were seen because of how big the sweater was. They were all carrying bags that had ATs in them.
"Hey again!" Ringo said, greeting herself to the teams.
"How's it going?" Rika said.
"What's up? Hope you're ready to go skatin'. And I mean actual roller skating this time." Mikan said, the last part referring to Aomine with Shiraume simply waving.
"A roller skating challenge. Simple but fun." Becky B. said.
"Actually, these aren't your normal roller skates. They're ATs. Fully automated roller skates!" Mikan said, grinning.
"They better be. And because we're already cutting it pretty close on show time, I'm gonna start explaining things now. You can explain what's going on to late stragglers during the practice period." Chris said.
"Things will be pretty simple. It'll be an AT battle. Along with it being a race. You'll race through the park and then through the city, taking the exact same path taken the first time around when the Kings did this. However, unlike last time, you will not be going through a portal. There is a red radio tower not too far ahead of the original place where the first race ended. Up there are stickers, each having the symbol of your team. Grab your team's sticker and then skate back down to the finish line, which will be to the left of the tower. The team that crosses the finish line first will win the race!" Chris explained.
"What!? You mean we have to go all the way up there!? How are we supposed to reach that with just skates?" Hailey asked.
"Easy! Just throw 'em up!" MacArthur said.
"Or, someone with the ability to fly can just fly up." Eliza said.
"I assume we'll be able to use our abilities?" Urien asked.
"I was just about to get to that." Chris said.
"And don't worry. As we already said earlier, these aren't your normal skates. These skates are automated. Which can not only allow you to perform different incredible tricks. But get enough momentum and it'll really feel like you're flying. It's an incredible feeling. And the flying's all thanks to the air cushion system within the skates." Ringo said.
"And besides, this is what's done in some in team battles. It's already known how dangerous something like that is. Which is why there is a class system put in place for teams and individual riders. It's usually not recommended for beginner or low ranked riders and teams to try the really dangerous stuff before getting some experience first. Of course, you can do it at your own risk, but any teams you decide to challenge can choose to decline after reading your stats." Rika explained.
"So where do the stats come from?" Myron asked.
"Each AT has built in memory cards to track the stats of each rider and their team. That's how we can keep an eye on the classes and ranks of each team and rider." Ringo answered.
"Playstation and Nintendo were able to do well with it so why not?" Virgil said.
"Couldn't you just take out the memory cards before you ride?" Toxsa asked.
"Yeah. You could, but any battles or races you participate in without one won't count towards you ranking up. So unless you've got a good reason for doing it, don't." Mikan said.
"Since you all are beginners, you don't have to go too far up the tower. But because we know some of you have different abilities to help you out, we still won't make it too easy for you. You'll only need to go halfwat up to the middle area." Rika said.
"Something's better than nothing. I guess." Noah said.
"As for abilities, there's a few caveats. Flying in any shape or form is not allowed! Unless you're using the ATs to get the hangtime you can't do it. Also, no rocket boots or any other form of transportation can be used to move around! So yes, you can use things like your weapons to give you a speed boost, launch yourself in the air, things like that. But no using them as a means of transportation! You have to use the ATs! Nothing else! And don't even think about teleporting or warping there either. For those of you that are capable of doing that, that is. Also, no targeting the ATs! If you intentionally destroy them, you're out of the race! We had to pay out of pocket for those. And they're pretty expensive. So don't do it! And I'm saying this more to Hiruma more than anyone else!" Chris said. Though Hiruma looked unbothered by Chris' statement. "So, if you've got a power that could potentially destroy the ATs, including your own, you may want to reconsider how you use it, or don't use it all."
"If your ATs fall off, you're out of the race! If you break any of these other rules, you're out! And finally, the only person that has cross the finish for it to count for your team is the person with the sticker! So no, you can't just throw the sticker and think it'll count! It won't! Also, only your team members can cross the finish with a sticker for it to count. So sticking it on something else, like a star or weapon and throwing it doesn't count either. Neither do Pokemon. You can use things like Pokemon to help you or attack your opponents, but if they cross the finish with your team's sticker, then it won't count. Hope you got all of that, because I'm not explaining it again!" Chris finished.
"Any questions?"
"How much time will we have to practice?" Kurt asked.
"Good question! Five minutes."
"What? We can't learn this in five minutes!" Kurt said.
"Well, you're going to have to figure it out. The good news is, not all of you will have to participate. Only seven of you from each team will. Who that is will be up to you." Chris said.
"Will the things we use be able to fly?" Kaz asked.
"Sure! Just as long as you're not on it!" Chris said.
"There's ATs in different sizes, but not enough for all of you, so you're going to have to keep that in mind and probably share." Chris said. "Get going! Because your five minutes start now!"
Each team had a few members at a time try on the skates.
Natsu tried to ride the skates, but the minute he started moving, he started to get sick.
"Yeah, this is not gonna work." Natsu said.
"Poor Natsu, he can't catch a break can he?" Happy commented.
"Yeah. There's always next challenge though." Lucy said.
"Alright. They actually got ATs in my size." Aomine said, looking at the larger ATs.
"Yeah. I asked to get these specially made for you. Along with some smaller ones for someone like Skipper. We got a couple extras too, but try not to break those." Mikan said.
"You suggested this? Thanks." Aomine said.
"You're welcome! Consider it my apology for all of those unnecessary wrestling moves I did to ya last time." Mikan said.
"Don't worry about it. Besides, you said sorry last time." Aomine said, trying to balance himself on the skates only to almost fall.
"Alright. Here we go." Kagami said, getting one of the other larger pairs.
"Hey! Just because they were custom made, doesn't mean you can just take them! Go get a regular pair!" Mikan yelled at Kagami.
"I could if I would but I can't!" Kagami said.
Mikan looked at his feet.
"You too!?"
"Oddly enough, Kagami and Aomine share the same shoe size." Kuroko said passing by, slowly riding on the ATs to try and get the hang of them and avoid falling, and scaring Kagami in the process, causing him to accidentally hit Mikan in the face with the ATs.
"WOULD YOU ANNOUNCE YOURSELF OR SOMETHIN' NEXT TIME?" Kagami yelled.
"Sorry. I was moving so slow I thought everyone could see me." Kuroko said.
"Watch where you're swinging those! That hurt!" Mikan said, getting back up.
"Sorry." Kagami said to Mikan.
"And why the heck are you moving so slow anyway?" He asked Kuroko.
"You know what they say, slow and steady wins the race." Kuroko said.
"Nothing but facts there man." Zee said, drinking a soda, moving at a slightly faster pace than Kuroko.
"Too bad that doesn't apply here." Kurt said, passing by, moving at a faster speed before falling a couple of seconds later.
"You know you won't be able to move that slow in the actual race right?" Tangle asked Kuroko as she caught up beside him.
"Maybe. Maybe not. You never know what can happen. Besides, we are beginners after all. We should take it slow." Kuroko said.
"WE CAN'T TAKE IT SLOW IN FIVE MINUTES YOU IDIOT!" Sendo yelled before falling flat on his face.
"Woah! Close one!" Randy said, jumping over Sendo.
"With how slow you're going it'll take you five just to get to the halfway point in the race." Sly said to Kuroko, passing by him, starting to get the hang of them ever better thanks to the previous experience he had with them in the first race.
"Seriously dude, you're gonna have to go faster than that." Aomine said.
Kuroko sped up, but he fell each time.
"Okay, maybe this isn't the thing for you." Aomine said.
There were several that weren't doing so well, but none were worse than Kurita.
"A word of advice, drop out. This challenge isn't for you." Paul said, going past Kurita, who was on the ground.
Steam came out of Kurita's nose after Paul's remark.
"Don't worry about it Kurita. We'll take care of it!" Mamori said, giving him a soft smile only for Hiruma to intervene.
"Manpig! You're racing."
"But-" Kurita started to protest before Hiruma kicked him.
"You won't going that slow! Come on!" Hiruma said. "You win, we get first class food!"
"Okay!" Kurita said, now determined, thinking about the cotton candy he could possibly enjoy if he wins.
"What about me?" Eyeshield asked.
"No."
"But he's pretty quick. Why not?" Tangle asked.
"That's true. But still, Kurita's still going in." Hiruma said.
"I hope you know what you're doing." Lanolin said only for Hiruma to give her a devilish grin.

Lanolin(Radical Rats):
"I'm not sure what's in that twisted mind of his but it better work, or he's out of here. He's already enough trouble as it is with all of those weapons."
***End Confessional***
"Hey. This is a lot easier than I thought." Haizaki said, moving along on the skates pretty well. "Thanks for the tricks Richie." He said as he got alongside him.
"What are you talking about? I didn't teach you anything." Richie said, a little confused.
"Guess you could say I'm a visual learner." Haizaki said as he got in front of him, speeding up, but still in an oddly similar rhythm to Richie's.
The five minutes had passed.
"Alright! Teams, it's time to pick your seven!" Chris said.
"Manpig! You're up!" Hiruma said.
"Kurita? Are you sure?" Huey D. asked.
"If he wants to be a fool, let him." Eliza said.
"I'm going too." Hiruma said.
"I don't know. He seems awfully confident about this." Maki thought, looking at Hiruma, grinning as he held a rifle in his hand.
"Remember what I said Hiruma! No destroying the ATs or your out of the race!" Chris said, only for him to switch weapons instead to a pistol.
"Then again, maybe I'm overthinking it." Maki thought.
"Power doesn't matter here. Experience and skill does. We need to choose people that have the best experience in this." Courtney said.
"You seem like you're good at this. You should give this a try and race." Din said to Marinette.
"Okay!" Marinette said.
"You were able to use those pretty well before. That's a good choice!" Courtney said.
"As If anyone's going to gush over your praise." Heather said.
"My word certainly means more than yours!" Courtney said.
"Excuse me? Who won a season? Who had to call lawyers to basically cheat and still lost?"
"At least I'm not a manipulative, relationship wrecking, diary reading bit-"
"That's enough!" Midorima said.
"Thanks for the censorship save!
"No. Let her finish so I can give her my response. Fist first." Heather said.
"Dude, you're like the last person people are going to take seriously with that on your face." Louie said.
"At least I know my worth to this team." Midorima said.
"And we're supposed to? You haven't even been in a challenge yet. At least when I don't want to do something I don't use the excuse of not having some weird item." Louie said.
"Yet you-" Midorima started before being interrupted.
"Enough." Din said. He might have not had a loud voice like Kagami, Eijun or Sendo when they were yelling, but it carried a lot of weight that made both of them stop and get the attention of most of the team, some of the exceptions being Paul, who was already focused on the challenge, Maki, Huey F., Skipper and Akashi.
"Sheesh. Glad our team's not like that." Randy said.
Reagan only gave him a look that said, "Really?"
"Okay, maybe it's not as bad as them." Randy said.
"If you don't mind, I'll be the second." Alejandro said.
"Alejandro's really good at this sort of thing. He's a great choice." Heather said proudly.
"Well, I'm not the best. But that's surely what I'll try." Alejandro said, acting modestly.
"This guy too. It's getting on my nerves." Kageyama said.
"Well if he's getting on your nerves that much then go win." Tsukishima said.
"You know what? That's exactly what I'm going to do." Kageyama said.
"Hey! I want in!" Kageyama said to Chris.
"Say that to your team, not him." Tsukishima said.
"Oh. Right. Sorry."
"That's fine with me. Win this!" Kaz said.
"Alright! We have our first volunteer! Who else wants to give it a try?" Molly asked.
"I'll be second!" Tangle declared to the Rats.
"I'll go too." Kise said.
"Fourth." Adrien said.
"I'll take fifth." Lucy said.
"Sixth." Lanolin said.
"I'll be the last!" Puss said.
"Surprised you didn't volunteer Albedo." Ben said.
"Quiet. I have a perfectly good reason for it." Albedo said.
The Kings also chose Jotaro as he seemed to have a pretty easy time controlling the skates as well along with Bachira, Sly, Skipper and Sebastian. Sophie considered volunteering but changed her mind.
"You seemed as if you were ready to volunteer Ben. Why did you choose not to?" Rook asked.
"Because, thinking about it, I think I know the reason why Albedo chose not to go. If he transforms, or if he attempts to use certain aliens' powers, it might destroy the ATs. Same for me." Ben said.
"And that's where my powers come in. I don't even have to worry about that. Unfortunately though, there's guys that's better than me at this. I mean did you see Bachira and Sebastian?" Rex said.
"Uh, yeah. I'm on your team." Ben said.
"I know, but still!" Rex said.
"I see. A logical decision then." Rook said.
"Care for a race milady?" Adrien asked.
"Only if you're looking forward to losing." Marinette said.
"I'd hate for you to have to get economy, so you can take second." Adrien said.
"No way. You're gonna have to earn it if you want it." Marinette said.
The Wave Breakers also chose Fiona, Haizaki, Richie, Randy, Dwayne and Kunigami.
"So you're playing too. I thought you'd only be interested in anything soccer or workout related here." Bachira said to Kunigami, who said nothing in return.
"Wait. If someone wouldn't mind. I'd like to go." Kagami said.
"You can take my spot Kagamicchi." Kise said.
"What's the matter? Afraid you'll lose Ryota?" Haizaki taunted.
"No. I'm thinking about my team. You wouldn't understand. That's like a foreign language to you." Kise said before taking off the ATs, which caused Haizaki to frown at him.
"Nah. Guess those feet still aren't feelin' good." Haizaki said.
"YOU BA[CENSORED]D!" Aomine yelled, running towards him about to go full speed fully intending on knocking him out cold before Din stopped him by grabbing one of his hands before he could get fast enough for that to not happen.
"Let…. GO OF ME!" Aomine said.
"Heh. Struck a nerve." Hanamiya said to himself.
"What was that?" Hinata asked, not hearing him.
"Nothing. It's just that Haizaki sure knows how to get under their skin. Wonder what happened between them?" Hanamiya said, correcting himself.
"It doesn't really matter to me. If he gets them this mad then I say keep doing it." Blaineley said.
"Aomine, stop." Kise said as Aomine still tried to get out of Din's grip.
"Even if you're okay with it, I'm not. I'm not gonna let him get away saying something like that." Aomine said.
"I never said I was okay with it." Kise said.
"Then if this guy will let me go, I'll do what I need to and we can get started." Aomine said.
"No. It's not smart." Din said.
"Don't tell me what's smart or not. You don't even know what's going on!" Aomine shot back.
"Aomine. Din is right. You need to stop. And calm down." Akashi said.
"Be honest with yourself. Is this really how you want things to be settled?" Kise asked Aomine.
Aomine simply closed his eyes.
Din softened his grip as Aomine snatched his arm back.
"I don't understand how you guys aren't ticked off about what he said." Aomine said, hands in his pockets.
"Maybe if you tell us what's going on we'll understand." Huey D. said. "We've gotta communicate with each other. We're a team after all."
"Does someone mind switching for me as well?" Yulaw asked.
"Sure." Lanolin said.
"Thanks. I'll try to pay it back by helping us win." Yulaw said.
"That's great to hear." Lanolin said.
"Long story short is, Haizaki's team played Kise's in the Winter Cup. The first time he'd been spotted by at least one of us since leaving Teiko Middle. When Kise started to beat him, Haizaki knew he couldn't win. So he resorted to stepping on Kise's injured foot, a move that'd make that guy over there proud." Aomine said, pointing to Hanamiya.
"You keep making these accusations. At this point I'm starting to think you just don't like me." Hanamiya said.
"This guy can't stop lying. He knows exactly what he told his team to do when we played!" Kagami said to the Rats.
"Unfortunately, if we don't have proof there's not much we can do other than go off your word. And even, that should be taken with a grain of salt." Rally said.
"He what!?" Midorima said, genuinely surprised and angered, hearing this for the first time as he never watched the game. He turned to Haizaki. "Utterly disgraceful. And I thought even someone like you wouldn't stoop that low."
"I was trying to drive to win my team the game and he got in the way." Haizaki said, referring to Kise.
"Wow. Very convincing." Dan said sarcastically.
"Look, it doesn't matter. And from the sound of things we can't a hundred percent prove if that's really what happened or not. Aomine, if you really want to help then do it in the challenges." Sophie said.
"No. We'll stick with what we have." Din said.
"You got a point Sophie. Someone switch with me!" Aomine said.
"Don't do it." Din said.
"Sorry, but I'm gonna have to listen to Mr. Mysterious on this one." Sly said.
No one else would budge either.
"Damn it!" Aomine said.
"I don't think highly of him either. But stooping to his level is not smart. And uncalled for." Weiss said.
"Shut up." Aomine said, closing his eyes.
"Hey. I know you're upset. But getting under your skin is exactly what he wants." Isagi said to him. "You'll get your chance to play."
"Whatever." Aomine said.

Lanolin(Radical Rats):
"I don't mind switching out. At this early point in the competition, we're still trying to figure out things on the teams. So volunteers are more than welcome. It's more opportunities for me to figure out the best fit roles for everyone on the team. So far, I already have a few ideas for some outside of Tangle, Whisper and Blaze, who are no-brainers since I'm already familiar with those three."

Huey Freeman(Storm Kings):
"Not sure if anybody's seeing it, but what Hiruma tried to do with keeping Courtney and Heather on the same team is working. If they can't work together, they're not going to last very long. He's a lot more sane than what he lets on."

Adrien(Radical Rats):
"I don't know if what Aomine said is true or not, since I wasn't there nor do I really know Haizaki to begin with. But if he really is capable of doing something like that, then Marinette needs to be careful." He said before adding, "And, the rest of my team too. Myself included. Especially if he can steal moves. Not sure if that's for basketball only or not, but we've still got to be careful."
Plagg appeared, though the camera couldn't see him. "Don't worry about it. He can't steal powers so most of you don't have anything to worry about."
"I hope you're right. Then again, I don't think he'd be able to do something like that. Right?"

Marinette(Storm Kings):
"I don't know him very well, but with how he's acted since he's gotten here, I wouldn't put that past him at all. Still doesn't make it any less awful. I don't even think Lila would do something like that. Still though, Adrien should be careful. I wouldn't want to get injured. I'm not too worried about myself. I'll be fine."

"Like I said, I have no idea what he's talking about. What happened to Kiyoshi was an accident. Honest. Besides, I wasn't even going for the rebound. It was one of my teammates that was fighting for the ball with Kiyoshi mid-air when it happened. But anyways, I'm interested to see what Haizaki's made of. With all that talk he's been doing he'd better not disappoint."

"Alright Mr. Hotshot prodigy, let's see what you got. I've been wantin' to go up against you since I saw your game against Yosen. Not a court, but close enough." Haizaki said to Kagami.
"Heard people callin' you a Miracle. Like you're on our level. You got some skill, but from where I'm standin', after the Jabberwock game, you look like somebody that can just jump high and rely on Tetsuya to set you up. It was him that scored a good bit of those points against Atsushi and Yosen after all. The rest of us don't need to rely on dunks and easy two-pointers. We got more in our arsenal then that. Tetsuya makes sense since he's an assist machine. And even Atsushi's tall a[censored] has some skill inside on D and offense. But you? You'll never be on our level."
"Can it. You got some nerve thinkin' you're hot s[censored]. I ain't forget what you did." Kagami said.
"I'm gonna take that cocky a[censored] attitude of yours down a peg." Kagami and Kageyama said.
"The hell! You don't just cut me off like that, I'm sayin' somethin' here!" Kagami said.
"I wasn't even talking to you dumba[censored]! I was talking to the Kings! You shouldn't have paused! I didn't know if you were done or not! And what's up your eyebrows? Why do they split like that at the top? It's weird!" Kageyama said.
"Why are you looking at my eyebrows? You're the one bein' weird here buddy!"
"It's hard not to if I'm looking at you in the eye!" Kageyama said.
"You don't hear me sayin' anything about your eyebrows!" Kagami said.
"Because unlike yours, mine look normal!"
"Why not save the yelling at each other for the challenge?" Ruby G. suggested.
"Tell your teammate to stop lookin' at people's eyebrows!" Kagami said.
"I'm not looking at your eyebrows! It's not my fault they look like that! It's hard not to notice it!" Kageyama said.
"Then how come no one else has said anything?"
"Honestly, I noticed. I just didn't care enough to say anything." Louie said.
"Same here." Rex said.
"It'd be rude if I did." Diana said.
"Yeah, your eyebrows are weird dude." Reagan said.
"You really do need a makeover with those eyebrows." Reagan said.
"Meh. Just didn't care enough." Dan said.
"That's 5 to 0! Now sit your short a[censored] down!" Kagami said.
"You realize you're only slightly taller than me right? And by the way they're saying your eyebrows do look weird so it's 5-0 in my favor." Kageyama said.
"Yeah, but they're not saying anything about it." Kagami said.
"Guys. You really need to stop." Hinata said.
"Yeah. Choosing to do this right before the competition isn't the smartest thing to do." Kuroko said.
"Actually, keep doing it I don't mind." Tsukishima said.
"What!? Why would you want them to keep going!?" Hinata said.
"QUIET!" Kagami and Kageyama said.
"AND STOP LAUGHING! WHAT'S SO FUNNY?" Kagami and Kageyama said to Rei who tried to stifle in her laugher.
"STOP COPYING ME!"
Both were staring each other down.
"This guy. He thinks because he's a few inches taller than me he can talk down to me! I'll show him!" Kageyama thought.
"The hell is up with this guy? He's tickin' me off too!" Kagami thought.
"Start the challenge already Chris! I'm gonna show everybody what I'm made of!" Both though before forgetting they were wearing ATs and fell.
"Well, this is going to be interesting." Hinata said.
"More like entertaining." Tsukishima said.
"That's the plan man! The second challenge is set to begin! Who will take first as several people's emotions are starting to get tested? Find out on the next episode of Total…. Drama….. Across the Multiverse!"
"Really Chris? Why not just-" Heather started before being cut off as the camera cut to black.
A/N: And that's part 1! We'll dive in straight to the challenge when part 2 hits. The idea for Cicini to have this role was from Kaindol52 on FF Dot Net. Also somehow forgot about her insane jumping ability. It'll be interesting to see how other high jumpers like Hinata, Kagami, and Monta would react to her if she ever has to jump for a challenge lol. See you all on the next chapter!
