G-Man 2.0: It definitely sucks to have Cameron gone this early. Especially since he didn't even get to be in a challenge. And he was a winner in a previous season too. No denying that he at least had an impact despite this. Let's see if the Kings can keep their composure and win a third challenge.

Chef was seen standing in front of the mansion at night. "Last time on Total Drama Across the Multiverse!"
"The last challenge was a long winded marathon in this season's Gran Prix across the multiverse!"
Footage of the contestants racing across different locations in the multiverse was shown.
"They raced in several places from Mon Calamari, to the dangerous racing realms in the Storm and Water Realms to across the school grounds of Luna Nova Academy to even a simple obstacle course! But no matter where things were, what didn't change was how chippy things got, even from the first race between Emma and Courtney."
Footage of exchanges between Emma and Courtney, Diana, Weiss and Karin and Diana and Kageyama was shown.
"It got real serious between Diana and Kageyama though. My thoughts? It was all a misunderstanding. All Kageyama had to do was listen! He took what Diana said out of context. Two wrongs don't make a right though with what Diana did. But all that mattered was the end. And in the end, some major things happened: Cameron was injured, Hiruma and Mamori showed off their analysis skills, and most importantly, the Breakers won their first challenge!"
"But the most surprising part was how the Rats stole second place! Hiruma called for a musical! And help Natsu fight against his sickness! Somewhat! Everything was fine, all the way up until the end when Natsu blew it by takeing off the blindfold. And that was all the difference. Even though Sena was able to make a miraculous comeback and steal second for the team and avoid another elimination, they were a blindfold away from getting first!"
Footage of Hiruma being the maestro of a musical that included Lanolin, Rocky and Owen was shown with each playing an instrument to direct Natsu on where to go. Though the comeback seemed to be all for naught as he fell at the end, netting no points for his team. Though Sena, in the attire of his alter ego on the football field, Eyeshield 21, used his speed to his advantage and caught up to the competition, winning the race and taking second.
"And that leaves the Kings! Getting last place, they had a date with a campfire ceremony tonight for their first elimination. And their first victim, was a winner of a previous Total Drama season! Cameron! Turns out, Sly, concerned for Cameron's safety after his injury, asked everyone on the team to keep an eye on him to make sure he was okay. And he wasn't. Which is what caused majority votes to go to him."
Footage of Cameron being voted out was shown, but with his team, notably Sly and Aomine talking to him before he left.
"But there's no denying that his team believed that he contributed, even without being in a challenge crazy enough. As heard from Sly and Aomine. And yep, I got a bit emotional there. I know I shoulda waited until the show was over but come on! I just couldn't hold it man! Other than that, best part was how fast Diana and Kageyama made up. But that rivalry ain't goin' away it seems. Can you call that a rivalry? A witch prodigy versus a volleyball prodigy? Guess it's a battle of prodigies." Chef said, shrugging.
"Fast forward to now, each team has won one challenge! At the very least, there's potential that none of the teams will be the next Team Victory. Or not. May or may not have jinxed it. But anyways, wanna find out why I'm out here at night? And where Chris is? Find out now on Total... Drama... Across the Multiverse!"

Loud thunder was heard outside, which scared Owen awake.
"AHHH SWEET MOTHER OF-" Owen yelled.
Noah, hearing this which awoke him, sighed and covered turned over to try to distance him from the noise(which wasn't much distance honestly).
Owen looked outside. "Oh, it's raining." He said before going back to sleep. He then opened his eyes again. Before looking out the window, he noticed two of his other three roomates in the room, Adrien and Bennett, were both missing.
"Hey Noah!" Owen said, shaking him on his shoulder. But this had no effect.
"Noah!" Noah was trying to ignore him.
"NOAH!"
Noah had had enough.
"OH MY GOSH! WHAT... DO... YOU... WANT?"
Owen breathed a sigh of relief. "For a second I thought you were dead."
He wasn't even about to bother and went right back to sleep, closing his eyes.
"NOAH! DON'T GO BACK TO SLEEP!"
"Going to sleep. And you should too. Goodnight."
"But Noah it's raining!"
"Oh. Thanks for telling me... I guess?" He was trying to be nice about it, despite how much his patience was being tested.
"And Adrien and Bennett are gone!"
"The probably went to the bathroom. Please Owen, you really need to calm down. Maybe some food or some sleep will help you."
Kagami and Kise suddenly busted through the door, with Kagami hitting the door so hard it ended up falling off one of the hinges.
"I don't know if I should say something about A: You suddenly breaking in here and having no sense of privacy whatsoever. B: You being way too aggressive with the door. Did you forget there was a doorknob? Or C: Reiterate how cheap this "mansion" is." Noah said.
"There's no time! We gotta get outta here man!" Kagami said frantically.
"Okay, timeout. What do you mean we? I'm going back to bed. Or at least before you decided to bust in here like the Swat Team." Noah said.
Kurt was the third one to show up.
"At least you guys are here. Good." Kurt said.
"WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON!?" Owen said, hands on his head.
"That's what we're trying to figure out." Kise said.
"You guys didn't notice?" Kagami asked.
"Notice what? The fact that you disturbed my sleep?" Noah asked.
"The beds were floating in the air!" Kagami said.
"A couple of other things too." Kise said. "Including the fact that Kurokocchi and Zee were gone."
"My roommates were gone too." Kurt said. "All of them. Checked the other rooms and everyone else is missing too."
"Something weird is going on here Noah!" Owen said.
"Weird? I can answer that question for you: It's probably Chris just messing with us. Maybe a challenge?" Noah proposed.
"I really hope so." Kise said.
"Let's check outside and find out. If the other teams are like this, they're bound to be there too." Kurt said.
"Wait a sec. What about all the girls? You think this happened to them too?" Kise asked.
Owen gasped. "Emma and the others might be gone too!"
Noah's eyes suddenly widened after hearing this. He was now fully awake. "Hold on a sec. If we're going outside, we're going to need jackets or umbrellas."
Everyone except for Kurt had packed a hoodie or poncho to wear. In his case, Noah gave him an umbrella. Kise and Kagami wore hoodies while Noah and Owen had ponchos.
The five all went near the entrance of the mansion, joining several Kings and Breakers along with Rei,Lotte, Morty and Dawn, who were the only other Rats.
"Took you guys long enough." Rei said.
"What do you mean 'took us long enough'? We could have been gone for all you knew." Kagami said.
"Dawn here said she could feel several auras around. One of them being very red. I figured it was either you, Sendo, Falcon or Natsu." Rei said.
"Sure it wasn't you?" Rex asked.
"No, it wasn't." Rei said, already starting to get annoyed.
"So you didn't even bother to see if we were alright?" Kagami asked.
"Why would I do that? I'm not your parents or your babysitter." Rei said.
"But you're our teammate. We'd do the same for you." Kagami said.
"So why didn't you do that for us then?" Rei asked, hands now on her hips.
"Because we-"
"This is not the time to start fighting. Everybody's missing and we don't even know where they went." Huey said, stopping the two before things got worse, which, from what he's seen from the two before including some of their previous arguments, it was going to.
"This is another scheme from Chris. Guaranteed." Blaineley said. "I'M ON TO YOU CHRIS! THIS SORRY EXCUSE FOR A PRANK ISN'T GOING TO WORK!" Blaineley called out.
"You're calling out to him as if he's going to answer." Noah said.
"This is definitely a trick though. Chef, Heloise and Doyle are gone too?" Duncan said before he scoffed. "Way too obvious."
"Even if all of that fake, that rain's pretty real. And it's coming down really hard." Sophie said, noticing how hard the rain was coming down.
"You scared? You can hold on to me." Haizaki offered.
"I think I'm more than capable of handling rain. But thank you." Sophie said, trying to not say anything smart to him.
"You know? I really wish you were gone too." Rei said.
"Damn, tell me how you really feel." Haizaki said.
"How I feel? That's how everyone feels around here. I'm just saying it loud." Rei said.
"If this was a trick, I think everyone would have the same amount of people on their team, right?" Morty spoke up. "We had a challenge like this before. But the number of people were the same."
"You know what? You're right! I never even noticed." Marinette said.
"I just counted. He's definitely right about the numbers being different. The Rats have nine, the Kings have eight and we have ten." Myron said.
"Still doesn't mean this isn't a trick. He might have just wised up and tried to make the numbers different." Noah said.
"But why unnecessarily give teams an advantage or disadvantage by numbers if this was a challenge? We don't even know what the advantage would be." Sophie reasoned.
"Did anyone else find these?" Mona asked. She had a small doll that had resembled Octavia.
"Actually, yes." Lotte said, pulling out a doll herself. This one looked like Sucy.
"I did too." Libby said. Her doll looked like Ruby Gillman.
"Glad I'm not the only one." Ryoma Echizen said as he found a doll that looked like Bachira.
"This is gettin' weird man. Weirder than what we just saw." Kagami said nervously before the door suddenly burst open as loud thunder was heard.
The combination of both of those things caused Kagami to flinch as he tried not to jump. Though the lightning combined with the shadowy figure in the doorway that didn't look like anyone he recognized pushed him over his limit as he yelled a bit, unknowingly going into the unexpecting arms of Penny. The figure was revealed to have been chef in a black raincoat.
"Don't worry Rat Kagami, you have nothing to fear. It is simply co-host Chef." Penny said.
"Yeah, I can see that." Kagami said, quickly getting out of her hands.
"Ha! Taiga's scared." Haizaki taunted.
"SHUT UP! IF A DOOR CAME FLYING OUT OF NOWHERE YOU'D BE SURPRISED TOO!" Kagami yelled.
"What are you six talking like that? Grow up." Rei said to Haizaki.
"As a matter of fact, that's what I am on the court." Haizaki said, referring to his current jersey number on his school's basketball team.
"At least your jersey number matches how you act. I'll at least give you points for honesty on that." Rei said.
"Guys, I really think we should focus on why Chef's here." Lotte suggested.
"Chef, what are you doing here? And where's everybody else?" Kurt asked.
"We are everybody else." Doyle said, also showing up, wearing a brown raincoat and taking off the hood as soon as he got in along with Heloise who was wearing a dark red one.
"What? What do you mean by that? Where's Adrien? Where's the rest of our teammates?" Marinette asked, about as confused as several others.
"Beats me." Doyle said, shrugging.
"Like he said, we're all that's left." Heloise said.
"All that's left? W-what happened to everyone else!?" Libby said.
"Akko! Sucy! Are they-" Lotte began, thinking of the worst.
"I think I know what happened." Mona started.
"What is it?" Ryoma asked, genuinely curious.
"Everyone else has been taken!"
"Okay. Anything else?" Duncan asked, not impressed with Mona's conclusion.
As Mona continued to explain, the scene of what happened played out in Mona's head. "Chef, Doyle and Heloise were able to ward off the invaders for a bit."
Chef, Doyle and Heloise were seen in front of the mansion, weapons in hand.
"But the numbers grew. And grew. They were outmatched."
"There's too many of 'em!" Doyle said, punching one of the skeletons that tried to get to the mansion.
"They had no choice but to retreat and regroup. Unfortunately, we lost everyone else. Including Chris."
Chris and several others were heard yelling as they were being dragged or carried away against their will.
"LOTTE! SAVE US!" Akko called out as she was being carried away by gargoyles.
"It was a valiant effort for some of us. But it just wasn't enough."
"ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA!"
"It's like when one goes down, three more take it's place!" Jotaro said.
"YA-HAAAAAAAAAA!" Hiruma yelled out, using a heavy machine gun and spraying bullets anywhere he saw an enemy.
"I... Can't... hold it!" Kurita said, trying to hold back several of them. But even with his great strength, they was starting to overwhelm him.
"We can't give up! For the sake of everyone else! Lucy! Sena! Even Chris!" Natsu said, surrounding himself in flames. "I'm gonna give it everything! Until I'm down I'm not gonna quit! You hear me?"
"FIRE DRAGON'S SWORD HORN!"
Propelling himself with high speed like a missile, he sent several skeleton warriors flying.
Though it was all for naught. Even MORE showed up.
"You've got to be kidding me!"
"Keep trying! We-" Jotaro started before being hit in the leg with a sword, causing him to fall to the ground. It wasn't long before he was dogpiled on to. Star Platinum sent all of them but even more piled on.
"JOTARO!"
Hiruma ran out of ammo. And guns. The latter of which he seemed to never run out of and was beaten too.
"Wait, where did all of the skeletons come from?" Julie asked in the middle of Mona telling the story.
"Just let her finish." Kise said.
"You can't seriously-" Rei started.
"Guys please!" Ryoma said.
Eventually, Natsu was beaten too.
When everyone else was taken, Chef, Doyle and Heloise were no longer camouflauged in the bushes and immediately went into the mansion to try and find any survivors.
"Huh. That was actually pretty descriptive." Libby said.
"Question, where'd the 'ORA ORA ORA' come from?" Kise asked.
"Ridiculous. I refuse to believe that's what happened." Urien said.
"Going to be honest, I'm pretty skeptical myself. What was even the source of the skeleton warriors? And how was the mansion not destroyed from all of that?" Myron questioned.
"Was any of that even close to what happened?" Kurt asked Chef, Doyle and Heloise.
"Sure." Doyle said.
"Doesn't sound like you're even so sure yourself." Mr. Wolf said.
Suddenly, Chef was seen floating in the air and was starting to get carried out as a bony arm grabbed on to Julie's leg from under the floorboards as everyone with the exception of Urien and Penny had terrified looks on their faces.
"Get it off! Get it off!" Julie called out.
"I've got you Julie!" Gorem said, revealing itself and trying to hit the bony arm to pry it off the brawler. But it bounced off. So instead, she tried throwing it hard at the arm, which only pried it away a little before it got a firmer grip.
"The hell!? She was right!?" Haizaki said.
"Why would I lie about it?" Mona said, still being just as surprised they were there.
"Boltflare!" Sophie called out, putting her right hand out and shooting orange magical energy at the arm as soon as Kagami and Kise tried to pull it off, causing the arm to become separated from the rest of it, to which it revealed itself. It wore pirate clothes and had a sword to boot. Kise kicked it away. It tried to reach for Urien next.
"Hmph." Urien said before using his Aegis Reflector. The minute the skeleton touched the reflector, it was shocked and fell apart instantly.
"So gross!" Julie said before shaking the leg that the skeleton grabbed on to frantically. "Ew! Ew! Ew! Ew! Ewwwww!"
"My heroes!" Julie said to Kise and Kagami, hugging both.
"No problem." Kagami said.
"Hey, it's not problem at all." Kise said with a smile, eyes closed.
Sophie could only sigh and shake her head.
"If you knew about this, how were surprised by it? Why do I feel like this was just a lucky guess?" Rei asked.
"It was a surprise attack. They left him here to ambush anyone that escaped. I don't think anyone was going to expect it. That's why it was such a good plan." Mona explained.
"Guess that makes sense."
"So... what do we do with that?" Marinette asked, referring to the pile of bones on the ground.
"Garchomp! Stand by for battle!" Paul called out which got the attention of everyone else.
"Get Chef!"
The Pokemon tried to pry chef away from the invisible force that was carrying him away. And it was successful in doing so.
But what surprised Paul was the fact that it suddenly went ghost-blue.
"Garchomp return!" The minute he started to call it back to the pokeball was the minute it was no longer ghost-blue.
"You alright man?" Doyle asked.
"Thanks to you guys I am." Chef said.
Using his Smack Hands build, Rex threw out the bones into the sea.
"Couldn't you just have thrown them without doing that?" Ryoma asked as Rex joined them, his hands turning back to normal.
"Are you crazy? He could have gotten infected or something!" Hinata said.
"Infected? That's zombie movies. He was not gonna get infected touching those bones." Huey said.
"Better to be safe than sorry." Rex said.
"You're actually going along with this too Huey? I would have thought you would have been logical about this too." Myron said.
"Never said I was or wasn't. Just pointing that out." Huey said.
"Dude, there's seriously something going on here man. How do you still not see that?" Kagami said to Myron.
"That's because I'm thinking logically. The invisible force was someone cloaking themselves in an attempt to take Chef." Myron said.
"And what about the skeleton?" Ryoma asked.
"And the fact that Paul's Garchomp turned blue? Like he was... possessed?" Libby asked.
"This is ridiculous. No one was possessed. The skeleton having validity remains to be seen." Myron said.
"How can you think logically like that after what you've seen so far? Dude, you literally have a high tech car with powers." Rex said.
"Scan2Go machines are a little different. Yes, they're high-tech, but each one also has an innate spirit within them which shares a bond with the racer's spirit." Myron said.
"It's true. I could even tell how strong Shiro's was when he raced, despite his quiet nature." Dawn said.
"You've got to be kidding me. You don't believe that but you're okay with saying spirits are in those cars." Heloise said.
"Yeah. That really doesn't check out honestly." Rei agreed.
"I know how hard that is to believe, but it's true. Your spirit and desire to win means everything in a race. I may be a strategist but that can only take you so far." Myron admitted.
"Well can you come up with a strategy to find out where everyone went?" Mr. Wolf asked.
"Actually, I probably could... if those bones weren't thrown into the water." Myron said.
"My bad. Didn't know." Rex said.
"It's fine. I'm not mad at you for it. To be honest, I didn't think about it myself until Mr. Wolf brought it up." Myron said.
"What were you going to use them for?" Marinette asked.
"Analysis. I may have been able to help figure out what was going on. But if there was anything on the bones, they were more than likely washed off in the water." Myron said.
"Maybe analyze the water?" Kise proposed.
"Yeah! Slazor has water resistance right? So you should be able to dive under and get back the results right?" Julie said.
"Wouldn't work either. Like I said, if there was anything, it's probably lost now."
"Oh. Well, it was worth a try." Julie said.
"Excuse me, Chef?"
The source of the softspoken voice was Lotte.
"What is it Lotte?"
"How old is this mansion?" Lotte asked.
"Give it a rest. Just stop calling it that already." Rei said.
"How about you give it a rest?" Kagami said to Rei.
"Am I wrong though?"
"Look, no one's saying you're wrong, but we're getting off topic. Lotte, do you have an idea?" Sophie asked.
"Well, it depends on what Chef says." Lotte said.
"It was built before we started the season." Chef told her.
"Yeah, we can tell." Noah said.
"You mean cobbled together." Rei said.
"Oh. Well, never mind. Forget I said anything." Lotte said.
"Well, what do you suppose we do now?" Hinata asked.
"Perhaps taking the remaining boat?" Penny proposed, pointing out the boat on the other side of the mansion.
"Not a bad idea." Kise said.
"Okay, but where are we supposed to go?" Mr. Wolf asked.
"If we take the boat, we might be able to find out where everyone went." Kagami said.
"But there's one problem genius. We don't know where to go. Were you not listening to what Mr. Wolf just said?" Rei said.
"Look, I don't see you coming up with any ideas."
"Because I don't have any. If I did, wouldn't you think I'd try to come up with one?" Rei said.
"Okay then! Then stop putting other people down for trying! You didn't learn s[censored] from the last challenge didn't you?" Kagami said.
"How is that trying!? It's stupid! And at least Zee's idea somewhat made sense. You literally just weren't listening!"
"Kagamicchi, I think that's enough." Kise said as he, Kurt and Ryoma separated the two again.
"So you're gonna say somethin' to me but not her?"
"I didn't come up with that poor excuse for an idea!" Rei shot back.
"Both of y'all need to calm down!" Huey said. He had had enough.
Rei and Kagami both looked over at Huey and were about to say something before he stopped both of them.
"People are missing, and y'all can't even use that as a reason to stop just for this! Do you even understand how grating that is for everybody on your team to hear this? And everyone else? Over and over and over again? And it's not even for anything important! The only reason this keeps happening is because some of 'em are just too nice to really try and stand up to you, scared, or they just don't care! Well guess what? I'm not those people!"
"And maybe Kagami should have been listening, but I haven't seen you contribute anything since you've been here other than your attitude! You haven't even been in a challenge yet and you got the nerve to have an attitude with someone that without him, you wouldn't even have won first class yet this season? How ungrateful is that? Yeah Diana did the same thing, but at least she was a big enough person to apologize to Zee and Kageyama! And she was in a challenge!"
"And Haizaki, you too! No wonder why Aomine punched your a[censored]! And why you got kicked off your basketball team! Maybe if you treated people with respect, they'd respect you back! You think a self-respecting girl is gonna want somebody that acts like you do? They're not! And don't say nothin' about Johnny! Even if you think he's annoying, he doesn't take it as far as you do! The difference between you and Johnny is that Johnny isn't straight up disrespectful like you are! Say what you will about Rei, but she was right about the fact that you need to grow up! Come on man! You think it's a coincidence they replaced you with somebody that's got a similar ability? What does that tell you?"
"It's true." Blaineley said.
"And Blaineley! You really think because you hosted some reality show that you're gonna get special treatment? News flash, you're not! I'm willing to bet at least half the people here never even heard of your show! And that's not an indictment against you, they just might have not seen it, or watch reality TV, myself included. Keep thinking that way, and you're gonna be in for a rude awakening when you're booted off your team! You seen how Kunigami is. And how Kageyama is. "What'd you say to me kid?" Haizaki said, grabbing him. "Cause last time I checked, I never asked your punk a[censored] for a lecture!"
Huey did a kick to Haizaki's face as he flipped out of the air and landed on the ground.
"You never asked, but a lecture is exactly what you need!" Huey said.
"Then I'll tell you the same thing I said to Aomine." Haizaki said, wiping his cheek to try and get the foot mark off. "If you want me to stop... then come here and make me!" Haizaki said before running towards him with the intention of hitting him but Huey easily dodges the punch and the side kick. If there was one thing Huey gave him, he was a better fighter than he seemed to let on. But considering what he saw of Kagami and Aomine, he wasn't surprised.
"Come on! Fight me!" Haizaki said, getting annoyed at the fact that Huey was dodging his attacks but wasn't making any attempt to fight back.
"Fighting you isn't gonna change a thing. It's only going to make things worse." Huey said.
"You think I'm about to let myself get embarrassed by some short a[censored] kid? Hell no!" Haizaki was suddenly sucker punched by Duncan, knocking him unconscious.
"I'm gonna be really honest with you man. To act the way you do is the definition of a loser." Duncan said to Haizaki, who was still on the ground.
"Let's head to the bus guys. It's not much, but it's better than waiting around here doing nothing." Doyle said.
Haizaki was still on the ground unconscious. And Duncan was the only one that was around.
"Seriously? Why do I have to get stuck with carrying him?" Duncan said before reluctantly picking him up and carrying him onto the bus that changed into a plane.

Duncan(Wave Breakers):
"Say what you will about Huey, but he ain't afraid to say what's on his mind when he feels he needs to. I can respect him for that. Heard he was on a previous season but I didn't know what to really think of him since I wasn't there. But seeing him up close, yeah, he's definitely solid. "
He then pointed at the screen. "And also, you owe me big time dude! I know you wanted to knock him out too but you couldn't because that'd go against what you just said."

Because of how few people there were, everyone had a seat available for themselves if they wanted.
Although some like Morty, Marinette and Hinata didn't mind sitting with someone else, Rei and Kagami made their best effort to avoid having to sit next to each other.
"So what do you think happened to everyone?" Morty asked Marinette as the two were sharing a seat.
"Honestly, I don't know. I tried to see if I could get something from my phone, but the signal was blocked too. If someone did take them, they're trying to make sure they're not found." Marinette answered.
"Man, I really hope Rick's okay." Morty said.
"If he's as smart as he keeps saying he is, he's the one person I'm not really worried about. Heck, he might have already found a way out."
"Guess you're worried about Adrien huh?"
"I'm worried about everyone, not just Adrien."
"Oh. Yeah. Sorry. Makes sense." Morty said. "Speaking of which, I guess you two made up huh?"
"Made up? What are you- oh! Yeah. Like Adrien said, that wasn't going to make us stop protecting people or being superheroes. Being a hero is about more than just one, or in our case, two people. It's about everyone. I know not everyone that's a hero thinks that way, or in the case of new ones, understands that yet, but that's the sacrifice that has to be made."
"In other words, act like a professional, right?"
"That's exactly it. But eventually, we did talk about it."
Flashback (A/N: This isn't from any episode in particular. Or the movie. This is an original scene)
Both Ladybug and Cat Noir were on a rooftop after facing off against another Akumatized supervillain.
"Well, another day another Akumatized villain taken down. Now to wind down with some studying. And maybe a bit of TV." Cat Noir. "See ya. Same time tomorrow night?"
"Cat Noir, wait."
"What's up? I got something on face? Maybe you can get it off."
"We need to talk."
"You mean the thing we're already doing?"
"I'm serious. This is really important."
"Important as in move to somewhere that's not the rooftops right?"
"No. Important as in we to talk. As Adrien and Marinette."
The Cat-themed superhero was surprised to hear this but didn't make any complaints or objections. "Okay. Sure." He said before returning back to normal. "So, what's going on?"
"It's about what happened during the Total Drama season."
"Oh that. I already told you, you don't have to-"
"Stop. Yes I do. And it's not even that. It's just about the whole trust thing in general. We've been partners as Ladybug and Cat Noir. And friends. I don't want that to ever stop or change just because we can't trust each other."
"But it hasn't. Has it?"
"You know as much as I do that it has. Sure, we work together on patrols. And sometimes work together at school for projects and groupwork. But I feel like there's something missing that's always been there before. Don't you feel it too?"
"Yeah." Adrien admitted.
"I can say that I'm sorry a thousand times over. But it doesn't change what happened. Nor does it fix things." Marinette started. "I took our friendship for granted. And I hate the fact that it took this happening for me to see that. You're more than my partner Adrien. You're my friend. And I really hope we can be that way again. If that's what you want that is."
"If that's what I want?" Adrien started.
"Of course!" Adrien said with a smile before the two embraced in a hug.
End Flashback
"That's awesome to hear!" Morty said.
"Yeah, but it shouldn't have gotten that way in the first place. The problem wasn't just trust. It was respect. I didn't respect him enough as my partner and as a friend to keep something like that from him. He had every right to say no. But he didn't. And I'm thankful for it. I won't make that same mistake and ruin that second chance."
Heloise, who was suddenly blue and was drooling and growling like a zombie was trying to pounce on Doyle. He shot a net at her, which sent her flying into a button that caused the plane to change into a bus.
"Oh crap!" Doyle said. "Chef! Change it back!"
No response as the bus was suddenly descending.
"Chef!"
Chef was suddenly growling himself as he turned, surprising Doyle before Chef pinned him down.
"Stopglue!" Sophie called out, restricting Chef in a sticky, glue-like substance.
"Change it now!" Sophie said to Doyle who was still on the ground. Doyle immediately got up and changed the plane back. He tried to pull up, but it was too late. They landed roughly in a forest.
Everyone breathed a sigh of relief.
"You guys okay?" Doyle asked.
"We're alive. That's okay enough." Rei said.
"What happened to those two?" Libby asked.
"They've been infected with something! It's a zombie apocalypse!" Owen said.
"They're not zombies." Sophie said in an attempt to calm him down.
"Strange. I don't feel a change in their auras at all. What could have happened to them?" Dawn asked before going to comfort Heloise.
"No! Don't touch him! You could get infected!" Hinata said, stopping her.
"But-"
"Fool! Is getting infected what you want?" Urien said. "I'll show you exactly what will happen to them." Urien said before charging electricity, preparing to fire it before Rex stopped him.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa! I'm okay with you telling Dawn not to touch them, but not that." Rex said.
"Move aside. I won't tell you again." Urien said.
"Doublespell: Honorguard!" Sophie created two barriers around the two.
"Guys! I think you need to take a look at this!" Doyle called out.
"Someone's got to watch them to make sure they don't get out." Rei said.
"Well, why don't you do it?" Kagami said.
"What? Why me?"
"Well, you heard what Huey said. This is your chance." Noah said.
"Chef should stay restricted. You should be fine." Sophie said.
Rei sighed. "Fine. Just hurry up."
Outside, everyone, except for Haizaki as he was still unconscious in the plane, saw a forest.
"Great. We crashed into a forest." Kurt said.
"That's not the worst of it." Doyle said. "Take a look." He said, gesturing to the plane.
"Are you serious!? You mean we're stuck here!?" Kagami said.
"Does that mean... Molly and the others. We won't be able to save them?" Libby said.
"There's gotta be a way out. Right?" Morty said.
Several others started to get antsy as well especially Owen and Lotte.
"Give me that jetpack! Now! I refuse to be stuck here!" Blaineley said to Doyle before jumping on him to try and take his jetpack before he threw her off.
"Calm down! No one said we're stuck here." Doyle said.
Huey points in the direction of a cabin that was in the distance. While it wasn't easy to see, there was a window with lights that gave it away. "There's a cabin over there. They might be able to help us. Can any of y'all get a signal and call for help?" Huey asked.
"Already on it." Doyle said, phone in hand. "You guys go on ahead. I'll stay out here and see if I can reach someone."
Huey nodded.
"Well, what are y'all waiting for? Let's go." Huey said.
They headed towards the cabin, with Huey taking the lead.
"I can't believe we're letting that kid of all people lead us." Mr. Wolf said to Ryoma.
"He has shown the capability to lead before. I don't mind at all. Nor am I surprised." Ryoma said.
"What is surprising is how we got here." Myron said.
"What do you mean?" Marinette asked.
"When we've flown before, we usually went through a portal. Though in most cases, that made sense because Chris was around. There was no portal. Chris isn't around, and none of us are capable of doing that ourselves." Myron said.
"You're looking way too much into this dude." Duncan said to Myron.
"So you guys don't find it odd how we were on the island and now we're in this forest?" Myron asked.
"More than likely we flew a decent distance to get here." Kurt reasoned.
"What is a decent distance? There hasn't been any hint of there being anything else close being to the island." Myron said.
"But how would we know that when we've always traveled by portal before as you stated?" Sophie asked.
"Like I said dude, you're looking way too much into this man." Duncan said.
Myron sighed. "Maybe you're right."
Huey knocked on the door of the brown cabin.
The door opened, revealing a petit young woman with shoulder-length black hair and green eyes. She wore a a light-colored white tunic and dark-colored pants. Over the tunic was a short black robe with a black bull that had a gold outline on the left side.
"Hi!"
"Hey! Sorry to bother you. We're a bit of a long way from home." Kise said.
"That's putting it lightly." Noah said.
"We've already got someone calling for help. So hopefully we'll be out of your hair quickly." Kise continued. But before he could even ask, she saw how wet and nasty their clothes were from the storm.
"Who made him our spokesperson?" Kagami whispered.
"He's one of the more friendly people here so I guess it makes sense. You wouldn't want someone like Urien doing it would you?" Lotte whispered back.
"What was that child?" Urien said, overhearing his name being mentioned.
"N-n-nothing!" Lotte said, horrified of the man especially since she had no means to defend herself against him.
"I'm so sorry to hear that. Come on in!"
Inside the cabin, there were several chairs with plates of food on a table.
"Check it out!" Owen said.
"Look at all of that food!" Hinata said.
"Looks great!" Rex said.
"Don't just take anything. It might not be for us." Marinette said.
"I wasn't expecting guests. But, you're more than welcome to sit and eat if you'd like! I'm Charmy by the way."
"Really? Thank you!" Ryoma said.
As some sat to eat while others didn't, they started to ask Charmy about exactly where they were.
"So where exactly are we anyway?" Kurt asked.
"A hinterland." Charmy said, her smile still there, enjoying seeing those like Owen and Kagami quickly devour the food made. And even those like Lotte and Libby who, while not fast or monstrous eaters like the aforementioned two, still enjoyed eating. Though there were some like Huey and Paul who declined to eat. Blaineley tried to contain herself around the sweets.
"I'm assuming we're still in Canada right?" Myron asked.
"So you came from here? What happened?" Charmy asked.
"Had a rough landing on the plane we were on. Everyone's fine but, at the moment, we've got no way of getting out of here." Kurt said. "Which is exactly why we've got someone calling for help."
"Speaking of which, I'm gonna check on Rei." Kagami said.
The lights suddenly went out.
"Who turned out the lights!?" Hinata said, horrified.
Penny was the only one that was unaffected thanks to her night vision. But before she could see what was going on, something lept at her, but she punched it out of the way.
Kurt tried to wrestle someone off, which he was successful. But because he couldn't see who it was, he was grabbed again and was overpowered.
Rex, trying to force whoever was trying to take him off, he turned one of his hands into Smack Hands and accidentally hit a hole into a wall.
'Boltflare!" Sophie called out, creating light for everyone to be able to see.
The next thing they knew, they smelled smoke.
"That smells like-" Hinata started.
Penny, using her infrared vision, saw large amounts of fire starting to surround the cabin. "Everyone! We should leave the cabin!" Penny warned, before pulling the person closest to her, who was Paul with way too much force with her to the door, unintentionally sending him into the door face first before falling back to the ground.
Rei, in a completely different outfit, which in this case was a white and red sailor outfit with a matching red skirt, red bow behind her and a purple bow on the front with red star-shaped earrings, opened the door and was the first out before everyone else left. Haizaki, now fully awake, was also with her.
Paul, and understandably so, was not happy that Penny did that from his face.
He sighed before pulling out a pokeball. "Gyarados, stand by for battle."
"Use hydro pump to put out the fire!" Paul called out.
A stream of water came from his mouth, putting out the fire before it got worse.
A girl with pale white skin was seen with a black bob haircut and a right lazy eye. She wore a long black dress with a white collar that covers her feet, and white cuffs. She held a lighter in her hand.
"The hell's the matter with you kid? Why would you do that?" Kagami said, confronting her as Paul returned Gyarados back to its pokeball.
"I have a problem." The girl said, shrugging.
"You're damn right you do." Kagami said.
"Wait a sec. Is Charmy alright?" Rex asked.
"Not just Charmy, everyone else! Marinette! Mr. Wolf! They're gone!" Kise said.
Mona gasped. "It was a trap! All of this!"
"A trap? What the heck are you talking about?" Duncan asked.
"The invasion! This was to try and lure us here. And we fell for it." Mona said.
"Rei, where's Doyle and the others?" Myron asked.
"Gone. He took Heloise and Chef too. Looks like whatever got those two got him too. He just turned late." Rei said.
"And you didn't try to stop him?" Kagami asked.
"He caught me off guard with a smoke bomb and blinding grenades. I wasn't able to do that, but I was able to hit his jetpack. It's leaking fuel so we may be able to catch him if we hurry." Rei said.
"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go." Rex said.
The 21 remaining started to run.
"I'm gonna see if I can go on ahead in the skies." Rex said before putting on his goggles and using his Boogie Pack build.
Suddenly, an explosion was heard which sent several of the contestants flying, with Owen hitting Rex and grounding him.
Group 1: Rex, Owen and Noah
"Well that's just great." Rex said before realizing Owen was on top of him.
"Hey uh big guy. Appreciate the love but, could you get off me?" Rex asked.
"Oh. Sorry." Owen said before getting up off him.
"It appears you gentlemen are lost." A voice said.
"Who said that? Show yourself! I got a pair of fists waitin' to give ya a good greeting." Rex said, now using his Smack Hands build.
"Well, at the very least, we can say that they're not rude." Another voice said.
"And in the case of this gentleman, rather handsome." A third voice said.
"Uh... thanks?" Rex said, not knowing what to say considering he couldn't tell where any of the voices were coming from. The three decided to take caution and move slowly.
Group 2: Kagami and Rei
Both were on the ground before getting up.
"Man. First floating stuff. Then that weird girl. Now this. It's just one thing after ano-" Kagami said to himself before seeing that Rei was the only other person with him in the area. He sighed. "Things just keep gettin' better huh?" He said sarcastically.
"It's not like I'm thrilled about this either." Rei said in a slightly annoyed tone. Moreso because she was stuck with him of all people.
"Guess that's one thing we can agree on. But there ain't no use whinin' about it now. We gotta find everybody else." Kagami said.
Rei nodded. "Right. Hope you can keep up."
"Heh. That shouldn't even be a question." Kagami said, smiling a little as the two got running.
"Say, what's with that outfit anyway?" Kagami asked.
"Oh this? It's... hard to explain." Rei said.
"Try me."
"Remember how I said to Reimu I was a shrine priestess? I'm also a Sailor Guardian."
"Sailor Guardian. What's that?"
"Sailor Guardians are those chosen to protect the world against the forces of evil. In my case, I was one of those chosen."
"I see. So is Reimu one of those too?"
"Not that I know of. Before this show, I never met her."
"So what powers you got?"
"Several. Most of them mainly focus on fire though."
"Another fire user huh? Maybe-"
"Shh!"
"What do you mean 'shh'? I'm talking here!"
"I mean be quiet! I hear something." Rei said, lowering her voice.
Kagami looked around before seeing glowing orange eyes in between trees, which made him rub his eyes a bit to make sure he wasn't seeing things. The next thing he knew, they were gone. He breathed a sigh of relief before he suddenly felt something tap his shoulder. He jumped and looked to his right and saw nothing was there.
"Yo Rei, did you tap me just now?"
"Unless I suddenly walked backwards, no or I'm in two places at once, no." Rei said.
"Were you able to find what was making that noise?"
"No luck. You see anything?"
"Nah. Nothin'."
He then suddenly leapt forward.
"The hell?"
"The heck is the matter with you?" Rei asked, looking back.
"I don't know! I didn't do that!"
"Who else has control of your body then?"
"Kagami Kagami Kagami Kagami Kagami" Echoes were heard whispering in Kagami's ear.
"Did you hear that?"
"With how loud you're talking, no."
"Someone was calling my name! It was like a whisper!"
"Kagami Kagami Kagami Kagami Kagami"
"There it is again!"
He could have promised he saw a shadow too.
"There!" Kagami called out, pointing in the direction of where he saw the shadow, but it was gone by the time Rei looked over in the direction he was pointing in.
"Look, if you're scared, there's no shame in admitting it." Rei said, half-teasing and half-genuine.
"THERE'S NOTHING AROUND HERE! WHAT WOULD I BE SCARED OF? THE AIR?" Kagami said, his voice cracking when he said "What".
"Nice voice crack."
"SHUT UP AND LISTEN!"
"Like I said, can't do that with you yelling."
As Rei continued to try to listen, Kagami tried doing the same, but his head was on a lot faster swivel than Rei's was.
Group 3: Haizaki, Duncan
"Get the hell off me." Haizaki said, pushing Duncan off as both got up off the ground. It didn't take long for Duncan to start talking as they walked.
"Alright dude, I'm not gonna sit here and try to be friendly with you. I'm gonna get straight to the point. I know you got kicked off your team. But there had to have been a reason for it. Spill." Duncan said.
"You got some nerve to be askin' me a question like that after what you did before." Haizaki said.
"Yeah. And? I don't have a problem doing it again in your face cornrows." Duncan said, pointing at him. "News flash, that doesn't make you look cool."
"Says the guy that's got a shark fin on top of his head." Haizaki said, as both got in each other's faces.
"At least I'm not trying to get girls with some of the worst... I can't even call them pick up lines. Seriously, you call that hitting on someone? You've been the one that's been hit on the most here. Literally. Wouldn't be surprised if it's because people are tired of looking at the crap on your head. Because I know I am."
"Then how about I make you look at the ground instead?"
"Ooh I'm so scared." Duncan said sarcastically. "I've seen guys in juvie tougher than you. Bring it."
Haizaki relented before smiling a little. "You know what? You got some balls. At least you're not a sorry a[censored] beta like some of these other guys are."
Duncan scoffed. "Whatever that means." Duncan said, dismissing his compliment.
"Alright, fine then. I'll tell you a bit about me. But I gotta ask, why the hell did you decide to hit me with that sucker punch earlier?"
"Because I was tired of hearing your annoying voice that's why."
"Least you're honest. I'll take it. Guess I'll tell ya to kill some time till we find the others. But don't go thinkin' this is the start of us being buddy, buddy."
"Friends? With you? Give me a break. I only wanna hear this so I won't get bored out of my mind." Duncan said. Though the last part was half-true. He did want to know the exact history between all of them there.
"Well for one, I didn't get kicked out. I quit. There's a big difference."
Duncan could tell he was lying or intentionally cutting out details, but he wasn't going to question him. This was probably the only chance that he was going to get to hear anything out of him that wasn't something that would piss people off.
"Make no mistake, all of us are talented. Got skills cut above the rest. The only others they talked about like us were those guys that were one year above us in school. Uncrowned Kings or somethin' like that. Makoto is one of those guys I think. And before you ask, I don't feel any way about the dude. Don't hate him, don't like him either. As for Teiko, they were already a good school before we came in. We just shot 'em up to legend status. Any game we played in, we never lost. But the conductor wasn't Seijuro. We were good, but not that good like we were in our later years. And now. The man that carried us was none other than Nijimura."
"Okay. You're saying that like I'm supposed to know who these people are. I don't." Duncan said.
"Who asked me to do this again? I'm gettin' to it." Haizaki said, a little annoyed. "Nijimura was the dude there before we got there. The captain of the team. And when you see him play, it makes sense why he led us of all people. The dude's like a snake. He makes gettin' around defenders look easy. When ya think you got him cornered, he figures out a way to get around ya. Whether with his speed or with somehow that same speed, dumpin' it off to somebody. Yeah, he p[censored]ed me off with how much he would beat my a[censored] for skippin' practice, which I mean come on, with how good we are we didn't even need to. We could just show up, kick a[censored] and then leave. That's how I've rolled since I've been there. But the guy ain't scared of nobody. Not even guys that were starting to get better than him. I'll give him some respect points for that."
"Yeah, I refuse to believe you guys never lost a single game. And okay, so you kinda respected Nijimura. But what about the rest of 'em?"
"Nah I'm not jokin' man. Even when I left Teiko was still winnin'. I told you, we were that good. And as for the rest, guess they were alright. Atsushi and Daiki were legit some chill dudes. Shintaro's uptight and extra but I can't deny the dude's skill. Seijuro? Guess he was okay too. I got to skip out on practice compared to when Nijimura was around so that's a plus."
"And Kise? What about Kagami and Kuroko?"
"Taiga was in the US, so neither of us knew who the other was. Don't really care for him. Tetsuya's alright. I ain't think much of him at first, but he proved me wrong when I saw him play the first time. Dude's a straight up magician. Even if he is kinda lame outside of basketball. Ryota? We're not friends. End of story."
"This is great and all, but you still never answered my question. Why did you quit? If you were livin' the easy life like you said you were, you wouldn't have called it quits. I know I wouldn't. So what happened?"
"Nothin' gets past you, huh?" Haizaki said. "You wanna know why I quit? Because I would have been worse off staying there."
"What? That literally goes against all the stuff you just told me. I'm straight with people. So stop leadin' me in a circle man. Be straight with me. What happened?"
"Why the hell do you need to know? I'm startin' to think you're not bein' straight with me with why you asked me this."
"You're such a tough guy. You should be more than tough enough to tell me why you quit."
Haizaki balled his fist. "I ain't gonna ask again. Why do you wanna know? What are you playin' at?"
"You know what? Forget I asked." Duncan said before running off and leaving him behind.
Group 4: Libby, Lotte
As the two walked, Lotte was idly humming.
"What song is that from?" Libby asked.
"What song?" Lotte asked, quickly stopping after realizing she was subconsciously humming the song out loud.
"What you were humming. The song?"
"Um... i-it's nothing really." Lotte said.
Libby didn't ask about it again. Considering how reluctant she is to share things about herself to other people, she could definitely understand how Lotte feels about sharing her song. If anything, that was the one thing she admired Molly for: Being able to find a way to get people to express themselves or open up about themselves with forcing it.
The problem was, the silence felt like it was making the air tighter for both of them. And it made them see or hear things that weren't actually there. Or at least if felt like it anyway.
"So, how is it? Going to a witch school?" Libby asked.
"It's fine. To be honest, I actually think it's a good thing that I went."
"What do you mean by that?"
"Well, learning magic is great and all since I want . But I don't think that's been my favorite part of coming to school every day."
"If I could take a guess would it be... the friends you made?"
"That's exactly it! How did you know?"
"Just a hunch. Though I guess that would be something Molly would say."
"Well, to be honest, I really could only say that recently."
"Why?"
"Akko and Sucy are more than just my roommates. They're some of the best friends I could ever ask for. Back in my home country, I was always teased by the other kids for being from a family of witches when I was little. We were the only family of witches in our town. So there was no one that would talk to me other than to make fun of me. So I always went to the library. Reading always made me feel better. And when I went to school, there was no one that really noticed me either. And to be honest, I didn't really make much of an attempt to be noticed either. It was only until the first day in Luna Nova Academy that I met Akko and Sucy. Akko didn't know how to fly a broom so I let her ride with me. Things got pretty rough from there though. She brought salt across the ley line, which can bring disastrous results if you didn't know. But I don't blame her for it. She didn't know. Unfortunately, it had the side effect of making us late since we started at the wrong location. The last thing I wanted was for my first impression to be was as a tardy troublemaker. I guess it's pretty fitting that the only three people late were assigned as roommates." Lotte explained.
"I'm sorry to hear that happened to you."
"It's okay. Even now I don't have any friends my age in Finland. But I can say that our family's relationship with the town has vastly improved since when I was little. I guess some of it is because of the fact that magic and witches are a lot more accepted nowadays. Even though funny enough, technology has advanced to the point where magic isn't needed as much as it used to."
"Really? You're from Finland?"
"Yep!"
"That's really cool! I've never been able to travel with my family before to other countries. Moreso because we've never been able to afford it. Or to amusement parks. But anyways. What about Diana? Is she your roommate too?"
"No. She's on a different team. In Luna Nova, students are divided into teams of three. That's why the hats have different colored bands on them and why the uniforms have different colored sashes on them, if you noticed when we were at Luna Nova. Akko, Sucy and I are on the red team, while Diana is on the blue team with Hannah and Barbara. Amanda's on the green team with Jasminka and Constanze." Lotte explained. "Amanda and Diana are nice in their own ways, especially with how great of a witch Diana is. I think Amanda's great too. I know she didn't get chosen by the school to represent Luna Nova, but I think if she was, it would be well deserved. She'd probably do great in these challenges. But I don't think I'd feel as great as I do about going to school now if I was roommates with either of them."
"I guess it makes sense. Diana seems different compared to you three. I guess more serious? Like Kageyama, just with less yelling. And like Shiro too. But you know, she's not an alien."
"Shiro's an alien?"
"Uh... no! I'm just saying hypothetically, if he was an alien, you know? It'd be kinda crazy if he was one, right? Ha ha! Haa!" Libby said, laughing nervously at the end. Although Lotte wasn't exactly sure that she was being honest, she wasn't about to try to press the issue. Something like that was more Akko's area. Lotte self-admittedly isn't much of a confrontational person.
"Even if she does seem more serious than Akko and Sucy, I can understand why. Being from a long line of witches from a very high social class carries a lot of expectations I bet. That's why her arguing with Kageyama was so out of character for her. But that's not why I said that. With Akko and Sucy, I feel a lot more comfortable being myself around them. And I guess it's because they're always comfortable being themselves around anyone. Regardless of what other people think. Other than when I was with my parents, I never felt that comfortable doing that before meeting them. In a way, that's why Akko is one of the people that I admire so much. She could do things I could never do. Even when Hannah and Barbara made fun of her for trying to learn magic, and when Diana and others initially didn't take her seriously when she expressed how much she wanted to be like Shiny Chariot, that never deterred her. In fact, I think there was only one time that I've ever seen Akko truly sad."
"When was that?"
"It was when she learned who Professor Ursula really was and why she went into hiding. You see, she's actually Chariot, the witch Akko wants to be like one day. She used her magic to be a professional entertainer. But one of her shows accidentally drained everyone that was watching of her magic. Akko was one of those people watching. So because of that, Chariot was the reason why Akko never had magic. And why she struggled so much trying to do it in the beginning. If it wasn't for that, I'm sure Akko would have been able to fly a lot sooner."
"Oh. Finding out your hero is the reason you had to work harder to achieve your dream has to really sting. I can understand why she'd be so sad."
"Yeah. Funny enough, Akko is the reason why she's open about who she is now. They made up, but I don't think that's the reason why Professor Chariot was willing to reveal her true self. Even she was inspired by her, when you'd think it's supposed to be the other way around. I don't think I'd ever be able to feel that free expressing myself to everyone like she does. Or step so much outside of my comfort zone to reach for things that seem so far away. She was even brave enough to stand with the faeries and protest for a greater share of magical energy for them against the entire school. Even against Diana. I'd get too nervous and embarrass myself I'd bet. I was reluctant to even translate for Akko. The same way I don't think I could ever hope to write novels like Anabel Creme does for my favorite book series Night Fall. And I'm okay with that. I'll still support them every step of the way. Even if my own dreams aren't as memorable as Akko's or Diana's." Lotte said, closing her eyes as she smiled.
"I'm sure they'd be memorable to someone, right? Even if it's not a lot of people. And also, are you sure you're not talking about Akko and not Molly? These sound like things right up her alley."
"I'm definitely sure."
"I don't know how much of a great writer you'd be, but I think you're doing great at expressing yourself to people."
Lotte had a surprised look on her face, not sure what Libby meant before she realized that she just expressed her feelings to her without realizing it. After realizing she did so, she gave a Libby a soft smile with Libby returning one as well.
"Well, since you asked about the song, I guess it'd be rude for me to not answer your question. It's a song passed down from my family. It's what lets me summon and talk to spirits in old objects even without the use of magic. My grandmother taught it to me. The caveat though, is that the object in question has to be at least 100 years old. That's why I asked Chef how old the mansion was. To be honest, kinda didn't know I was humming it." Lotte said before bashfully twiddling her fingers. "I guess you could say I was doing it because I'm a little-"
Suddenly, it felt as if they heard someone whispering or mumbling.
"Scared?" Libby asked, a scared look on her own face.
"Mm-hmm." Lotte said, nodding slowly as she was starting to shiver.
"Use your magic!" Libby whispered.
"I can't, remember? Here, I'm powerless."
"You can just bluff! That might scare them off!"
"Good idea!" Lotte said before reaching for her wand, before realizing she didn't have it. "Oh no! I don't have my wand! I left it back in the room!"
It suddenly felt as if the steps were getting closer.
"Stay back! I have this..." Libby started before picking up a stick. "This! And I'm not afraid to use it!"
Lotte picks up a stick. "I-I know magic! I'm a witch!"
"In training!" Libby added.
"If they know that, that means they'll think I'm inexperienced." Lotte whispered.
"Oh. Sorry! That sounded way better in my head." Libby whispered.
The moving suddenly stopped.
"I can't believe that worked!" Lotte said.
"Me neither!" Libby said.
They continued to walk. "So the Night Fall book series. What's it abo-"
"RAAAAAH!" A voice with a beastly mask on it yelled out, shaking his head left and right rapidly, which caused the two girls to yell and cower in fear. The person in question laughed evilly as he raised a sword as if he was about to attack them with it, causing Lotte and Libby to faint.
"Ha! I got you two suckers good!" Duncan said laughing. taking off the mask that he took from the cabin they were in that was on the wall along with the prop sword.
When he realized they were silent, he was starting to get concerned. "Uh guys? Hello?"
He then realized that he went a little too far and scared them so much they fainted.
"Eh. Not my problem." Duncan said before running away.
Yelling was suddenly heard. And he could have sworn it was from Kagami and Rei. This made him think about Lotte and Libby. And the fact that someone that's actually for real in trying to take out Lotte and Libby could show up.
"Great."
Lotte and Libby were still on the ground.
"Alright you two, time to get up." Duncan said before picking them up. He suddenly felt like he heard mumbling or whispering. But there was no one in sight.
Group 5: Ryoma E., Hinata, Penny
"Did you guys hear that?" Hinata said, hearing the yelling two. "It sounded like Kagami. And a girl."
"Judging from the sound of the yell and from what I recall so far of everyone's voices, it sounds like either teammate Marinette or Rat Rei. Oddly enough, in some cases, they sound very similar to one another." Penny said.
"Really? I never noticed." Hinata said.
"Unlike other occurrences of this such as Rats Albedo and Sena and teammate Ben, this has happened the least often. I suppose one possible reason could be their polar opposite personality types. While Rei is a lot more hot-headed and outspoken, Marinette is just as outgoing, but a lot nicer in comparison. Even so, I surmise that they're both caring, in their own ways." Penny said.
"Wow. You learned all of that just from being with them in that much time? As weird as this is, I just kinda thought of Rei as a girl Kagami? At first, I thought it would have been Kageyama, but she's not as uptight as he is sometimes. Don't tell him I said that or he'll start yelling again." Hinata said.
"Yes. Teammate Isagi took notes to better help his teammates in challenges. So I thought it would be beneficial for me to observe as well." Penny said. "For example, Ryoma Echizen is a tennis player, but is very introverted and quiet, like several members of our team. From what I have observed and heard so far, he has spoken the least out of all of the team members here, with friend Blake possibly coming in as a close second or third. Even the very quiet Mayuzumi has spoken more, confessionals included. Notably, Ryoma Echizen is one of the people to have yet to use it."
"Man, I never thought of being that observant of my teammates like that. You're able to figure out how much everyone speaks and how similar people's voices sound. All I can really do is call Rei a girl Kagami." Hinata said.
"To be fair, your comparison is fairly accurate. Both are very loud, hot-headed and outspoken about their feelings towards others, and are unapologetically honest with people."
"Wow! So I really am a genius! Now let's see... what about Kageyama?" Hinata thought before coming up with nothing. No one was as loud and uptight as Kageyama was. At least from what he's seen so far. "Nothing. Guess no one competes with him in that."
"Although the evidence used is very small, currently, the closest person I could think of that matches that criteria is Rat Diana Cavendish. Another possible candidate is friend Weiss. And to a very lesser extent, Rat Lanolin. Breaker Fiona was another possibility but was discarded. From what I've gathered in the challenges she's been in, their personalities have some similarities, but not enough to be the close match that you're seeking."
"Diana? No way. She's like rich and a witch. And proper and stuff. You know, pinky finger out? Drink tea? Reads books? That kinda stuff. Like Karin a little. Minus the martial arts. I don't think I've seen Karin read. Has she?" Hinata said, almost rambling on now.
"As I stated before, the evidence is very small. So I've also used dynamics with other teammates as well. For example, Diana's relationship with Akko, yours with Kageyama, and Weiss' with Ruby."
"Huh. Never thought about that."
And then seconds later, already going to try and get Echizen to talk a little more.
"So, you're a tennis player huh? Pretty cool." Hinata said.
"Yep." Ryoma E. said idly, looking at the doll of Bachira before his phone vibrated. He took it out and saw that it was a message from his mother. The message was a picture of a Himalayan cat.
"Nice picture! Is that your cat?" Hinata asked. Because of how big the picture was, he saw it out the corner of his eye. "Oh! I'm so sorry! I shouldn't be nosy."
"It's fine. And yeah, that's my cat. He's called Kalpin."
"Kalpin huh? Nice! Crazy how many cat lovers are on your team." Hinata said.
"So far, I have counted three cat lovers. Surprisingly, no one has mentioned how Blake is a Faunus. Though noticeably, Sebastian has mentioned his fondness for cats the most, including in the confessionals. To my knowledge, this is the first time Ryoma has mentioned his fondness for his cat at all."
"Yeah, I'm not exactly as openly enthusiastic as Sebastian is. Doesn't mean I don't love Kalpin any less." Ryoma E. said.
"Uh, what's a Faunus?" Hinata asked.
"An intelligent race of sapiens that possess some of the same traits that animals have." Penny informed.
"I think I kinda get it?"
"It's more noticeable in some than others."
"Huh. So like, is this for every animal or..."
"The most common are mammalian-like traits. Others like fish or mermaids are very rare."
"I see. Thank you!"
"You are very welcome, Breaker Hinata!"
"So Ryoma, can I ask you some more questions about you and tennis? It's just to pass the time while we look." Hinata asked.
"Fire away." Ryoma E. answered.
"I know for me personally, the one person I want to be like is the Little Giant. He was the ace of the Karasuno Volleyball Team, the same one I play for. He lacked height, just like me. But he didn't let that stop him for playing. He was able to beat blockers way taller than him, and help his team win!" Hinata explained. "So Ryoma, is there any player in particular you want to be like? Or I should say, inspired you?"
"Well, if I had to go with one, I'd have to say it's my father."
"Your father? He played tennis too? That's so cool! Does he still play?"
"Nope. He retired. I still train with him though. Though one day, I want to be good enough to be able to challenge him to an official match. And defeat him."
"Does he know about this?"
"Don't remember if I ever mentioned that to him outright but... I'm sure he knows." Ryoma E. said, smiling a little.
"And what about after that? Do you plan to-"
"I am detecting something ahead. Something that don't seem to be familiar. I would suggest lowering your voices. Or better yet, remaining silent from this point on." Penny suggested.
"Darn it, ain't no one tell me I was gonna deal with somebody that could do that!" Someone said, appearing from the trees.
"I-i-i-is that..." Hinata started as someone that had the head of a skeleton with a scythe in his right hand and wore a black robe approached. Hinata was horrified.
"Let me guess. X-ray vision?" The skeleton asked.
"Correct!" Penny said innocently.
Grim sighed. "Shoulda known. Welp, let's get this over with."
"NOOOOOOOO! I HAVEN'T EVEN GOTTEN THE CHANCE TO BE THE LITTLE GIANT YET! I DON'T WANNA DIE!" Hinata cried out as he darted off.
Grim laughed. "Now that's more like it!" Grim said before slicing at Ryoma E., who ducked. But his hat wasn't as lucky as he was.
"I will fend off the skeleton. You find the others!" Penny said to Ryoma, who went to do just that.
Penny sent her arrays at Grim to which he swiped away with his scythe. "You're gonna have to do better than that!" Grim said.
Grim: Boys and girls of every age
The girl from earlier that burned down the cabin suddenly appeared in front of Hinata, scaring him and surprising Ryoma as she had a skull in her hand with "blood" in on her hands and a tag on her that had the name "Susie" on it.
Susie: Wouldn't you like to see something strange?
A vampire and an individual "covered in red" both appeared in front of Rex. Under their robes they had the tags "Mibuchi" and "Grell" respectively, but they were unable to be seen by Rex, Noah or Owen.
Grell and Mibuchi: Come with us and you will see
Rex tried to retaliate by throwing out a punch with his Smack Hands, but they both skillfully dodged the attack, with Grell jumping out of the way and Mibuchi sidestepping it easily. Though the trees that he hit weren't so lucky as they fall.
Jack, rising up from the ground eerily at the same time the trees fell: This, our town of Halloween
This even caught Rex off guard, which wore off as he tried to attack him too but also missed, to his frustration.
Billy Joe Cobra and Box Ghost, appearing in front of Kagami and Rei: This Is Halloween, This Is Halloween!
Rei attempted to shoot an arrow at the ghosts, but it had no effect. So the two had to resort to running.
Billy Joe Cobra: Pumpkins scream in the dead of night
Box Ghost: This Is Halloween, everybody make a scene
Box Ghost sends boxes flying towards Kagami and Rei.
Billy and Box Ghost and other ghosts: Trick or treat till the neighbor's gonna die of fright
An eight foot tall "gorilla-cat" along with a creature that looked like a mixture of a snake and a cat appeared along with a ghost-dog. The "gorilla-cat" had the tag "Fiskerton" on him. They appeared from the behind trees right in front of Duncan as he was still trying to carry along Libby and Lotte.
Duncan's surprised yell was what awoke both of the girls.
Fiskerton(in "Fisk Speak"):It's our town, everybody scream!
Lotte and Libby yelling caused Duncan to yell even more, which caused all three of them to run.
Tatzelwurm(in snake hisses): In this town of Halloween
Meanwhile, Myron and Mona, who were trying to keep a lookout, were suddenly surprised by someone that was hidden under the bottom of a large tree that had a gap between it and the ground.
The One Hiding Under Your Bed: I am the one hiding under your bed,
Teeth ground sharp, and eyes glowing red!
This caused Myron to not only jump back in surprise like Mona, but in Myron's case, yell a bit as well. As ravens were seen flying above them, a monster with banded kraits as his fingers, four on each hand, and a single spider on his head appeared from out of the bushes, scaring Myron even further. He has a long snout is similar to the komodo dragon, small forked tongue, tiny teeth, and the area around his mouth is colored pink.
The One Hiding Under The Stairs: I am the one hiding under your stairs,
Fingers like snakes and spiders in my hair
"Wish we had bug spray right about now." Mona said. "Hang in there Myron!"
Everyone(except the contestants): This Is Halloween, This Is Halloween
An Owlman, and three kids named Lock, Shock, and Barrell also appeared from the shadows in front of Urien. As they sing, Urien tries to hit all four of them with electrified metallic sphres, but they all miss as they duck the shots fired at them as they sung.

Grell and Mibuchi, with one appearing in front of Noah and the other in front of Rex, who tried to ignore the two: In this town we call home,
Sally, suddenly appearing on top of Grell's head to the trio's confusion: Everyone hail to the pumpkin song
A monster wearing a a tall top-hat and suit with a spider bow-tier ran at Blaineley, Haizaki and Paul to the first two's surprise. A ribbon that said "Mayor" was on the front of the suit.
Mayor: In this town, don't we love it now?
A plastic baby head that was on an aluminum spider-like body and had pincers suddenly jumped on top of Paul's had before he immediately threw it off, unintentionally tossing it on top of Blaineley's head as it pinched her hair as she ran frantically.
Dr. Finkelstein, revealing himself alongside more of his creations: Everybody's waiting for the next surprise!
All(Except for the contestants): 'Round that corner man, hiding in the trash can

Flying Dutchman, appearing in front of Myron: Scream!

Harlequin Demon, stopping Kise in his tracks right as he was about to run faster: red 'n' black,
Melting Man and a monster that had slime stream from its hands hit Morty: and slimy green
Wolfman: Aren't you scared?
Big Witch & Little Witch: Well that's just fine!
Both of the witches cackled in front of Rei and Kagami.
"Kagami, use that Zone of yours!" Rei called out, trying to hide her fear, but not exactly doing a good job at it.
"I can't just turn it on, that's not how it works!" Kagami said. "You got fire powers, use 'em!"
"If I could I would! Do you want me to burn the whole forest down?"
Kise and Morty had suddenly ran past them.
"Wait, that was Kise and Morty! Come on! Let's go!" Kagami said, grabbing a hold of Rei's arm which caught her off guard.
"No, wait!" Rei called out, but he was far beyond listening.
Jack, taking off his head and fingerolling it casually as if it was a basketball in front of Haizaki: Say it once, say it twice, take a chance and roll the dice
A green girl with two pigtails and a green dress appeared with a large hamster and several smaller monsters including a mutated bat, a snail with fanged teeth that hissed and a a butterfly that shot acid at Paul, which widened his eyes. That acid actually melted through the tree that was behind him. If there was any doubt in his mind about this being fake or a challenge, there wasn't now.
Vendetta: Ride with the moon in the dead of night
Lock, Shock and Barrell: Everybody scream, everybody scream!
The three boys, Lock, Shock and Barrell appeared in front of Huey with buckets of candy. He ignored them and jumped on top of them but was immediately met by someone that had a chainsaw and a hook and a zombie jester.
Zombie Jester: In our town of Halloween
I am the clown with the tear-away face,
Huey ran under the chainsaw man with a hockey mask and a hook before he could bring down the chainsaw and kicked him in the back of the head.
"Stopglue!" Sophie called out, stopping the chainsaw man from getting back up before calling out her next spell. "Hyperstride!"
Blue aura surrounded her legs as she ran faster, keeping up with Huey, and, if not for the fact that she wanted to make sure that Huey got through safely as well, would have passed him.
Billy Joe Cobra, appearing in front of Kagami:Here in a flash and gone without a trace!
He disappeared and reappeared in front of him several times with Kagami doing his best to try and ignore him.
Doyle, in garbled speech, as he moved in a slow but twisted manner as his head leaned from side to side, undead: I am the who when you call "who's there?"
Doyle appeared in front of Duncan, Libby and Lotte with Duncan deciding to try his luck and throw a rock at his head, beheading him and causing spiders and other bugs to come out and cover his body much to his horror.
Dutchman, appearing in front of Rei: I am the wind blowing through your hair
Oogie Boogie, also appearing in front of Morty, which caused him to jump back: I am the shadow on the moon at night,
Filling your dreams to the brim with fright!
"Just ignore it and keep going!" Kagami called out to Morty.
"R-right!" Morty said, getting up and continuing to run along with the other three.
Everyone: This Is Halloween, This Is Halloween
Urien, while charging his way through the forest and causing a path of destruction along with it as he tried to attack everything that moved, found a gate, and, like everything else that got in his way, smashed through it with brute force by shoulder charging through it.
Several monsters appearing in front of Urien: Halloween, Halloween, Halloween, Halloween!
Urien tried to shoot at all of them, but they disappeared as fast as they appeared.
Corpse Kid & Winged Demon: Tender lumplings everywhere,
The monsters tried to take away Mona, which was about to happen as the winged demon grabbed ahold of her and the Corpse Kid grabbed ahold of Myron.
"No! It's one thing for me to be afraid, but I can't let my fear be the cause of anyone else getting taken too!" Myron said before desperately trying to reach behind him and get in the pouch that had Slazor inside.
"Got it!"
He didn't even waste time trying to use his scan card for a boost, he pressed the Power Stone and activated it.
"Storm Slazor! Splash Lancer!"
The water wave created by Slazor washed away the Corpse Kid and the trees that the splash lancer knocked down, caused it to fall, dropping Mona.
"You okay Mona?"
"Yeah. Thanks."
Corpse Kid, reappearing from off the ground as if nothing happened: Life's no fun without a good scare!
Three others appeared along with it, terrifying Myron again.
Corpse Dad and Mom: That's our job,
Gordon, as he shows Myron dolls of the rest of Team JET: but we're not mean
"Diego's going to have a heart attack if he saw this." Myron started. "Slazor! Cut a path through the trees!"
Slazor's front bumper changed into a straight blade as if it was a swordfish and began cutting through the trees. The two began to run through the path that Slazor created for them.
Both Corpse Parents: In our town of Halloween
Mayor, appearing in front of Noah and Owen before ducking as Rex and Grell battled with saws: In this town, don't we love it now?
Grell: Everyone's waiting for the next surprise!
"Oh I've got a surprise all right." Rex said before changing his hands into Smack Hands and slamming into the ground, causing it to shake and knocking Grell, Mayor and Mibuchi down as Mibuchi had a hold of Noah.
All, except Jack: Skeleton Jack might catch you in the back
Jack grabbed a hold of Morty. "No! Guys! Help!"
Jack: And scream like a banshee, make you jump out of your skin
"TIMBERRR!" Rex called out as trees were falling to the ground as Rex, Owen and Noah were cutting through the path Rex was making with his Bad Axes build which were two large, blue glowing axes.
Box Ghost, suddenly appearing with more boxes: This is Halloween, everybody scream!
One of the trees almost fell on Kagami, with Rei pushing him out of the way, forcefully pulling away from his hand as she did so before the tree fell on her.
"Rei!"
Hanging Tree & Hanging Men: Won't you please make way for a very special guy?
"Get outta the way!" Kagami said, shoving through the Hanging Men.
"You alright?"
"Never better." Rei said before getting out from under the tree.
All: Our man Jack is King of the pumpkin patch
"That's it! I've had enough!" Rei said. Now it was her turn to grab onto Kagami's arm before they started to run.
All: Everyone hail to the Pumpkin King now!
This Is Halloween, This Is Halloween
"Man, they're gone in a flash." Kise said with Huey, Penny, Echizen and Hinata also coming behind them as Grim and a girl started to slice through trees. The tag on the girl's dress had "Scary Girl" on it.
Grim and Scary Girl: Halloween, Halloween, Halloween, Halloween!
Both Morty and Kise yelled after seeing this.
"Morty, hope you can keep up!" Kise said.
"W-wait, what are you-" Morty started before Kise's eyes started to glow yellow. He started to run faster than he did before. If it wasn't for the trees, he'd be dashing. But he never hit a single tree, monster, mummy or ghost as his reflexes seemed to have somehow improved as well.
"Did you see that?" Hinata said to Echizen, who was only really worried about trying to outrun the skeleton behind them.

All: Everyone hail to the pumpkin song
All: La, la, la, la la, la, la, la, la la, la, la, la, la la, la, la la, la, WHEEEE!
(La la la la la la la la Halloween, Halloween!).
Jack appeared, along with Grell and an owlman, which caught Kise off guard and caused him to fall forward as he got to a town. Ryoma slid to a stop while Huey, Mona and Sophie continued to run past, joining Rex, Owen, Kise, Morty, Urien and Noah at the town.
"Just close your eyes!" Libby said to Lotte.
"Right!" Both closed their eyes as they ran past.
Myron and Mona were also approaching.
As Susie tossed Jack a torch, he ate the torch, to the horror of Kagami and Rei as he was set on fire.
"Just ignore it! Let's keep-" Kagami started before they were stopped, wrapped up and their heads were suddenly covered by boxes via the Box Ghost.
"Ignore? That's what you've been doing to me for a while Kagami! Why didn't you save me? Why didn't you call?" Kuroko asked, his head suddenly appearing in green clouds that appeared above.
"I'm sorry man! I was busy! We always do our video calls sometimes! Remember?" Kagami said.
Rei tried to get free but was stopped by Jack.
"The show's not over yet!" Jack said.
Usagi Tsukino suddenly appeared in the clouds when Kuroko disappeared. "Na na ne boo boo! I got a boyfriend and you don't!" She teased before blowing a raspberry.
"Yeah. And? This isn't exactly news." Rei said, unfazed.
"I mean yeah,but-" Makoto Kino said, appearing alongside Usagi.
"We've had our fair share of potential relationships too." Minako Aino pointed out.
"I don't recall you having one. Sorry." Ami said.
"I CAN GET A BOYFRIEND IF I WANTED TO!" Rei shouted, the comments clearly starting to get to her.
"Not when you're working that stupid shrine all the time you're not!" Usagi said.
"And don't get me started on that fiery attitude of yours. That's a turn off I'd bet." Makoto said.
"Those can't be real. It's an illusion!" Myron declared.
"ILLUSION!?" An angry yell was heard along with lightning and thunder.
"WE HEARD THAT YOU DON'T BELIEVE IN GHOSTS!"
"OR MONSTERS!" The One Hiding Under The Stairs said.
"Slazor! SPLASH LANCER!" Myron desperately called out. But his calls weren't answered.
"Slazor?"
Myron's box was suddenly taken off.
"Oh you mean this thing?" Scary Girl said before laughing, showing him the parts of his machine.
"SLAZOR!"
"DON'T GO CRYING NOW!" Fiona's head said, appearing.
"WHERE WAS ALL OF THAT EFFORT IN TRYING TO SAVE US MYRON!?" Kaz said, his head also appearing.
"I'm sorry guys! I just-"
"COULDN'T WHAT? BE STRONG ENOUGH?" Shiro said, appearing next. "YOU'RE A DISGRACE OF A RACER! YOU DON'T DESERVE A MACHINE!" Shiro said before suddenly having spiders fill up his eyes sockets as they came out and fell to the ground, which horrified him.
The real Flying Dutchman appeared. "AAAAAAAAAAH!" He screamed, causing the boxes to fall off the other's faces before shaking his head several times before making several faces at them.
"DO YOU BELIEVE IN GHOSTS NOW?" Flying Dutchman said, appearing with Billy Joe Cobra and Box Ghost next to him.
"N-n-n-"
Flying Dutchman put a megaphone up to Myron's face and unapologetically yelled in it. "WHAT WAS THAT!? SPEAK UP!"
"I-I-I-I-I-I"
"HOW ABOUT YOU TWO? CARE TO ADMIT YOU'RE SCARED?" Dutchman said, getting in the face of Rei.
"Or, if you'd like we have other ways of getting the info out of you." Mibuchi said as Grell revved up her scythe.
"YES! ALRIGHT! I'M AFRAID OF GHOSTS ALRIGHT?" Kagami admitted. "I was in this haunted house with the rest of the Seirin Basketball Team on a test of courage. It was the last day of our training camp. And the team always does something fun. And no, this isn't some hazing thing. Everyone did this. Even captain Hyuga. The only one that didn't go was our coach. And even then, she took a walk inside herself to make sure things were safe before we started. Kuroko asked me if I was scared of ghosts and I lied and said no! Like numerous times! I thought it woulda been embarrassing to have him be braver than me! How would that look when he's braver than me and I'm supposed to be the ace of the team! I'd be a laughing stock! That's why I lied!"
"What? Are you serious? That's why you lied?" Rei asked in disbelief. "For the record, I would have teased you a bit, but I wouldn't have bullied you like you probably thought I was going to. I'm not exactly the type of person to go around telling people stuff and laughing at them 'ha ha' style. That's Usagi's M.O."
"YOU TOO! LET'S HEAR IT!" Dutchman said to Rei.
"What? I'm not scared of ghosts." Rei said adamantly.
"BUT YOU DO HAVE SOMETHING TO HIDE DON'T YOU?"
"I see your team is based off the color red. Let's see if the inside of you all matches that." Grell said. "Or maybe I can take a little from the top from that beautiful hair of yours." She said, bringing the scythe closer to her hair as strands were starting to fall off.
"Okay! Okay! I was a little scared! The fact that I couldn't see, or hit my targets made things worse!"
"AND?" Dutchman said.
"And I admit that I'm jealous that stupid bun head Usagi has a more successful love life than I do! Even the others have dabbled in a bit of success too! Yes, there was Yuichirou, but I kinda let that opportunity slip away! Even so, that doesn't mean he's still not an awesome person to be around and a great friend!"
"Are you serious? That's your confession? The hell kinda confession is that!?" Kagami said.
"MY CONFESSION! THAT'S WHAT IT IS! Jeez, you clearly know nothing about love do you?"
"Clearly you don't either considering you never even had a boyfriend." Myron said.
"YOU'RE TWELVE YEARS-OLD! WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THIS? AND FOR THE RECORD, I HAD A DATE! IT WAS WITH MAMORU! BUT WE BROKE UP! I BACKED OFF BECAUSE USAGI WAS CLEARLY INTO HIM AND I DIDN'T WANT TO RUIN THAT FOR HER!" Rei yelled as the others ran past, with Paul being confused at the whole ordeal, but paid no mind to it and ran past. Blaineley also ran past seconds later, still trying to fight with the several gadgets and small monsters in her head.
"We could possibly die and the last thing you're thinking about is a stupid relationship!? Way to have your priorities in order." Kagami said sarcastically.
"Look, the ghost asked me to confess so I confessed! This is coming from the guy that was scared to-" Rei said before realizing what was happening again and stopped herself.
"Scared to what!?"
"Yeah, come on! Spill it!" Haizaki said, revealing himself and unable to contain his laughter at the two before being grabbed himself, to his horror. "What the... let me go!"
"NOW THEN! YOU'VE GOT SOME CHOICES TO MAKE! EITHER YOU CONFESS OR MY FRIEND HERE GETS TO SEE IF WHAT'S ON THE INSIDE OF YOU MATCHES THE COLOR OF THAT JACKET!" Dutchman said, referring to Grell.
"Or maybe, we'll get to see it from my teeth. Fu fu fu fu." Mibuchi said before laughing at the end.
"I wanna have a taste too!" Scary Girl said eagerly.
"I ain't got a confession to make." Haizaki said.
"YES YOU DO! NOW CONFESS!"
"What the hell is this!? You mean I get grabbed but the others-"
The scythe gets closer to his shoulders.
"ALL RIGHT! THAT'S ENOUGH! I'M NOT GONNA PLAY GAMES LIKE HER HERE! NOW YOU CONFESS OR THAT HEAD OF HIS IS GONNA BE ADDED TO HIS COLLECTION!" Grim said, scythe up to Myron's neck showing up with Gordon.
"The hell is wrong with you? Why would you do something like this!?" Haizaki said.
"B[censored]ds! Let him go!" Kagami yelled.
"Here's my collection here. Nice huh?" Gordon mumbled very low and showing the heads of several of his teammates.
"Okay! Okay! For one I'm-" Rei started before being interrupted.
"NOT YOU!" Grim said. "Let 'em go. They confessed."
Rei and Kagami were released as Grim put his attention back on Myron and Haizaki.
"LET'S SEE IF YOU'RE TOUGH ENOUGH TO CONFESS!" Grim said.
Myron yelled out, almost to the point to where he was about to cry.
"A little more." Grell said before laughing.
"ALRIGHT! ALRIGHT! I ADMIT IT DAMN IT!"
Myron was put down.
Jack was about to clap his hands together but Lotte was suddenly grabbed by Vendetta's hamster.
"What? You promised!" Haizaki said.
"We promised nothing! And you admitted nothing!" Vendetta said before preparing to put a vial of something on Lotte's head, who was terrified.
"NO!" Lotte yelled out, sweating and fidgeting in fear as her breaths were getting heavier and heavier.
"Stop it! He already said he was gonna admit! Why are you doing this?" Morty said.
"Bolt-" Sophie called out before Vendetta turned.
"Do it, and this cap might slip off." Vendetta said sadistically.
"B[censored]ds." Haizaki said before finally coming out with it. "I lied! I got kicked off the team! I was all but forced to quit! But everything else I said was true. I was more than fine with accepting it. You think I care about basketball like I used to? Any passion that I had for it died when I quit. That's all I gotta say. Now let her go damn it!"
"Vendetta." Jack said, in a surprisingly more aggressive tone than any of the monster and ghouls expected.
"Hamster! Release the girl!"
The hamster let her go with Kise being the first to reach her because of his speed, eyes glowing yellow for a bit before they stopped when he caught her. Lotte had fainted again.
"That's all we needed to hear." Jack said before clapping. "You all have passed the challenge! Congratulations!"
"WHAT!?" Duncan said, in a bush, revealing himself.
"THE HELL IS GOING ON!? THIS WAS ALL A CHALLENGE!?" Kagami asked, about to explode.
"Yes it was. And I must say that everyone played their roles to perfection!" Jack said, genuinely pleased. "Everyone except one." Jack said, glaring at Vendetta.
"What? You wanted scary? I gave you scary! That was the job!" Vendetta said, hands on her hips.
A portal opened. "Took you guys long enough!" Chris said.
"Chris, when you suggested Vendetta, I readily accepted the suggestion. She seemed like a fun addition. But what she did to Lotte was too far! Being a scary monster is all in fun. That was not fun." Jack said, visibly upset with Chris.
"What? I thought it was pretty funny. It made more suspense. And hey, Scary Girl was here too and she didn't-"
A chainsaw was revved up. The source was Scary Girl.
"Is someone going to tell her this is over? Anyone?" Noah said, really concerned.
Sly crept up behind her and knocked her out with his cane.
"There. That oughta do it." Sly said.
"I stand corrected! But it still made things feel really genuine! Besides, she fainted when Duncan scared her and she was fine. I'm sure she'll be fine here too." Chris said.
"That doesn't make it any less okay!" Libby shouted, which caught several people including Jack himself off guard. "What were you going to say if something bad actually happened to Lotte!? Would it be funny then? A lawsuit and money can't fix someone getting seriously hurt or worse! How do you think her family would have felt about this? Cameron got hurt the last episode and he probably got voted off by his team because of that! Did you even think about that?"
"Fine. Whatever. Didn't think about it. If it makes you feel any better, the Rats won this challenge, so they'll get a reward."
"Hooray? I guess?" Kise said. "Sorry, it's hard to get excited when no one knew what the challenge was."
"The challenge was to get to Halloween Town first. And yes, Echizen and some others ran past Rei and Kagami first, but they would have gotten there first had Flying Dutchman and Jack not stopped them. Which was intentional. The same with Myron." Chris said as the rest of the cast appeared through the portal.
"Hey everyone!" Akko called out, waving.
"Also, don't worry. Slazor's just fine. Here you go!" Grell said, a friendly smile on her face as she handed Slazor back to Myron.
Myron sniffed before deciding to just let it out.
"Hey buddy. It's gonna be alright." Diego said, putting a hand on his shoulder.
"Slazor! I thought you were gone forever!"
"Man, he really loves that car." Hinata said.
"I totally get it. I felt the same way with Quickforce." Bren said.
"Also, you gotta remember that he is a kid. And I don't mean teen age like Kagami or Hiruma. I mean he's an actual kid, like Mona. I know no one's doing it, but I really don't get laughing at him for crying." Rally said. "Speaking of which, looks like you were right Mona. Sort of."
"I knew something was fishy." Mona said. "Just didn't expect it to be this. I just wished I was dressed for the occasion." She admitted.
"Dressed for the occasion?" Rally asked, eyebrow raised, confused.
"It's nothing to worry about now. We're all safe and sound."
"I really hope Lotte is okay." Gordon said, very low.
"What? I can't hear you." Mayuzumi said, next to Gordon, a confused look on his face.
"I'm sorry for what happened to her. I hope you all can forgive us. This was just for fun after all. I can't wait to compete with you all."
"I'm sorry, I still can't hear you. You're going to have to talk louder." Mayuzumi said, tapping on his ear.
"He's basically saying he's sorry for what happened. He also says he can't wait to compete with us? Whatever that last part means." Blake said, her ears twitching.
"Dude! That was awesome! How did you go that fast?" Morty asked Kise.
"Oh that. It was nothing really." Kise said.
"Nothing? Dude, we watched the whole thing from the film lot. I don't think I saw you go that fast since the end of that first challenge when we had to run from the truck." Adrien said. "Seriously, don't be modest. How did you do that? I wanna know."
"Remember that copying ability I talked about?" Kise asked.
"Wait, you can copy other people?" Morty asked.
"Yep. Like Kagami's got his jumping and Aomine's got his speed and unpredictability, that's my skill." Kise said. "In that case, I was copying Aomine. Same back then too. Kinda glossed over that when you first asked Adrien. Sorry."
"I thought you couldn't copy any of them?" Adrien asked.
"Technically I can. In a way." Kise said.
"What about Sena's running? Can you copy that?" Morty asked.
"Probably not. He's too fast. I'm not even sure Aomine at full speed plus the boost from the Zone can keep up with him. At least when Sena's doing the glowing thing. I guess that mean's he's at full speed? Oh and I can't copy aliens or guys like Adrien's or Sly's powers either. Might as well cross those other two things off before anyone asks."
"So what exactly can you copy?" Adrien asked.
"Several things. Just not anything crazy like that. I guess the best example outside of sports is when I copied someone's dance moves at the arcade and did some improv with my own moves. Combine both of those and in my case, you get a new high score in the arcade." Kise said.
Midorima sighed, overhearing their conversation and decided to join them, lucky item, which in today's case was a notebook, in his left hand. "If you want to know, here's the straightforward answer, unlike whatever Kise's giving you."
"Hey! I'm trying my best here!" Kise said.
"Kise's copying ability, as you may or may not know stems from his above average visual comprehension skills. With this, he can see moves, in most cases, once, and can use them instantly, and incredibly with more power and speed than the original. However, he can't copy those that are stronger than him in terms of ability, or those with too great of a difference in physical ability. For example, Seirin's Teppei Kiyoshi has larger than normal hands that allow him to grip the ball easily and incredibly make decisions mid-air that no-one, not even Murasakibara, can do. Because of this, anything involving Kiyoshi's hands cannot be copied by him. However, Perfect Copy negates this limitation and allows him to copy moves and abilities that he wasn't able to before such as our own. And as you saw before, Aomine's speed. Though there are drawb-" Midorima explained before Aomine interrupted him.
"Dude, those three are gone." Aomine said frankly.
"I was giving you valuable information! How can you leave when you are the ones that asked how it worked!" Midorima shouted to the three who didn't even hear him.
"Straightforward huh?" Aomine said.
"Quiet. All of that information was necessary."
"Sure. Whatever you say."
Someone else walked through the portal. He was a tall, had messy black hair and had a stubble mustache. He wore a white tank-top, black boots, black trousers and a black banner that had the same bull insignia that Gordon and Charmy had on their robes. His belt also had a similar looking book as Charmy and Gordon's as well. He was also smoking a cigarette.
"Alright Chris. Ya done yet?" He said gruffly.
"Yep. Pretty much." Chris said. "Oh yeah! One more thing! Meet your spooky scarers guys! Just look at the tags and you'll see the names!" Chris said as Charmy also reappeared.
"You were in on this too?" Kise asked Charmy.
"Yes. Sorry." Charmy said.
"The hell are you apologizing for? You played a role and you did it just fine." The man from earlier said.
"Sup guys." Doyle said, taking off the owlman mask. "If you're wondering, Fisk was with us. That's why we wanted to make sure neither Zaks got chosen. Woulda been way too much of an advantage."
"So if you're that owlman, then what the heck was that earlier?" Rex asked.
"Robot." Heloise said, walking up. "The same with the other me. Also a robot. And the chainsaw guy with a hockey mask and a hook. Also a robot."
"So if that wasn't Chef, then where was he?" Morty asked.
Chef took off the mask from his Oogie Boogie costume.
"Tatzelwurm was us." Two kids said, coming out of the suit. One of them brown skin, a stubble mustache, brown hair and wore jeans with a white belt and red buckle and a cream-colored t-shirt that had red stripes on it. The other had pale skin, brown hair, blue jeans and a white t-shirt with red sleeves that had a red ghost on it.
"Spencer Wright." The second kid said. "Nice to meet you all. Or in some of your cases, again."
"Rajeev. But you can call me the Jeevster." The first kid, Rajeev, said, raising his eyebrows at Julie and Ayame.
"Not interested." Ayame said to Rajeev.
"Worth a shot."
"Hey. I like this kid." Johnny commented to the audience.
"Of course you would. And who are you talking to?" Rei asked.
"Spencer! It's been a while!" Molly said to Spencer before the two high-fived each other.
"Ugh. You again." Scratch said, already annoyed with Billy.
"Not even a 'what's up' or a 'good job' for scaring those kids? Boooooo! And I thought we were supposed to be friends!" Billy said.
"Nope! Never said we were friends! Molly here said that. But I guess you did okay. You did help make those two firecrackers open up." Scratch said, referring to Kagami and Rei. "And make Mr. tough guy lose the image a bit too."
"What happened to Shanilla? Is she not around?"
"Hey guys! A little late but, here I am!" Shanilla Bhagwati, Rajeev's brother said. She wore a purple hoodless jacket with drawstrings unzipped over a t-shirt along with a pink skirt, brown boots, purple and pink striped knee socks and purple glasses with her brown hair being let down.
"In charge of special effects again I'm guessing?" Falcon asked.
"Nope. Thanks to Jack, we didn't need 'em. I directed the cues for the most part." Shanilla answered.
"Oh bassy! You're here too? I never knew you to be interested in this sort of thing!" Grell said to Sebastian.
"I appreciate the greeting, but is this really appropriate here?" Sebastian said, getting Grell off him. "And what do you mean 'interested in this sort of thing'?"
"Why this show of course. But it makes sense. You really are a dashing man. And once you win, we can take this other places."
"I haven't the slightest idea of what you're talking about. But I appreciate that you're rooting for me."
"I'm assuming you two are-" Eliza started.
"Friendly acquaintances." Sebastian said.
Hanamiya was looking at the two with a strange look on his face.
"What's the matter with you?" Mr. Wolf asked.
"Not sure. For some reason, there's strange feeling of... familiarity with her. Don't ask wh-" Hanamiya started before Mibuchi was right in front of him.
"Ah, Hanamiya! Didn't expect to see you here." Mibuchi said, patting him in the back.
"Ugh, Mibuchi. Hey." Hanamiya grumbled.
"Mibuchi? You mean another Uncrowned King is here!?" Kagami said.
"Here. Looks like he wants to talk to you." Hanamiya said before leaving Mibuchi with him.
"Wait! I was just asking a que-" Kagami said before Hanamiya was already gone.
"And he's gone." Kise said.
"Mibuchi. I didn't expect you here." Akashi said.
"Likewise to you!" Mibuchi said to Akashi in an affectionate tone similar to how Grell addressed Sebastian. "But I couldn't miss out on such a fun little event."
"And Mayuzumi's here too!" Mibuchi said before waving to him.
"Not gonna say hi?" Blake asked.
Mayuzumi sighed. "Just don't say anything and he'll go away." He mumbled.
"We missed you at the graduation. So how's college?" Mibuchi asked.
"Fine." Mayuzumi muttered out, trying to not be rude.
"Good to hear! Do you still play basketball?"
"No. Not really."
"Understandable. Gives you more time to focus on your studies. I must say I'm surprised to see you in a show like this."
"What's that supposed to mean?" Mayuzumi asked, with a slight bit of aggressiveness in his tone.
"Though I guess it makes sense. College is expensive after all." Mibuchi concluded, not picking up on the aggressive tone that he had with him. "Well, good luck! I hope you or Sei-chan win!" He said, waving his goodbye to him before going to talk to some of the other contestants.
"If you didn't even bother to come to graduation, you must really not like them." Blake said, picking up his slightly aggressive tone.
Gordon mumbled something. "They seem really nice. What happened?"
Though his remark was ignored by Mayuzumi as he didn't hear him. "Don't get the wrong idea. I don't hate Mibuchi. And I for sure don't hate Akashi. But they're not my friends either." He concluded without providing any further explanation. If he had to be honest, he wished he had something to read with him. He thought this was going to be a quick in and out. But it wasn't. And now he regretted it.
"Oh yeah. Couple of other things before I let Yami here speak, because it looks like he's starting to get impatient. This wasn't fixed. Mostly. You guys were already randomly chosen after the elimination yesterday. The extras that got taken out early was also an intentional move to throw you guys off. Having each team be the same amount of people would have made it way too obvious. The only ones that were fixed choices were Kagami and Myron for reasons that we obviously got them to confess here with the Flying Dutchman. That's why he pretty much ignored everyone else." Chris explained. "The weather thing was also artificial. Heloise was in charge of that."
"Wait a sec, how did-" Kagami started before realizing something.
"Yep. You pretty much admitted it to the live audience. You too Myron." Chris said, two tapes in hand, which was both of their confessionals.
"And what about me?" Rei asked. "I get those two. But what did I have to do with all of this?"
"You and Haizaki were bonuses. This was being recorded, so we decided to get you two too." Chris said.
"So that meant you had to use Myron and Lotte to do that? Get the hell outta here." Haizaki said.
"Apparently so since you couldn't say anything to Duncan." Chris said. "Who, didn't finish? Dude, why are you still in the bushes?"
"What? The challenge is over. I don't see what the big deal is." Duncan said, shrugging.
"And that's about it! Rats win, Breakers are in last! Rats, you get a choice at some horror movies tonight. Breakers, you get a choice at who to eliminate tonight! Yami, take it away."
"All right. I'm sure you don't know who the hell I am. And I don't know you either. Name's Yami Sukehiro. I'm gonna be apart of the next challenge tomorrow." Yami said.
"Tomorrow!?" Several people said simultaneously.
"Yeah tomorrow. Early in the morning. You got a problem with that?" Yami asked as a dark and purple aura appeared around him. Everyone could feel it.
"N-Nope! Tomorrow's good!" Shawn said.
"How about everybody else? Anybody else got an objection?"
"I'm totally excited to get up early tomorrow! Right everyone?" Noah said.
"I don't really mind at all." Rally said.
"Fine with me I guess." Aomine said.
"Meh." Rick said.
"Good. Now then, I'm not gonna reveal the details, but you're gonna be in for one hell of a test tomorrow. Don't give it your all and I JUST MIGHT KILL YOU." Yami said.
"I'm up for it." Natsu said.
"Same here." Kagami said.
"So that's what you're sayin' huh? I'm lookin' forward to seeing how strong you are." Sendo said.
"Butt-monkey, this looks like this'll be for you." Hiruma said, before laughing a little.
"M-max effort?" Monta said halfheartedly, still terrified of Yami.
"Don't worry Monta! I'm sure you'll do great!" Kurita said, encouraging him.
"You're the only one of us that hasn't competed yet, and we've all done fine. I'm confident you'll do well too." Mamori said.
Hearing Mamori compliment gave him a boost in confidence as steam came from his nose as if he was a bull.
"HERE I COME! MAX TESTING!" Monta shouted, pointing in the air, partially copying one of Kurita's signature quotes and steam expression.
"I like that confidence kid! But you're gonna need more than that against me." Yami said.
"A guy literally threatens to kill everyone and those four just act like it didn't happen." Luz said.
"Something tells me he was being serious too." Kurt said. "But hey, at least we won't have to worry about those four not giving it their all."
"Even if they're overmatched?" Becky F. asked.
"Doesn't look like that bothers them." Lucy said.
"Well, that's about all I got. I can tell some of you are strong. Like him here." He said, referring to Natsu. "And even if you're not, some of you look to be pretty interesting." He said grinning, looking at Hiruma, who, like always, had a gun in his hand, Rocky and some of the others.
"Like I said, I'll see you tomorrow. Chris, take me back home, I gotta take a crap."
"You could have just said take me home and left it at that. TMI dude." Chris said before opening a portal for him.
"The rest of you, you're heading back too. Breakers, hope you're ready for an elimination tonight." Chris said.
Some of the Breakers including Blaineley and Libby looked at Duncan. "Great."
As the contestants said their goodbyes to Jack and some of the other guests and residents of Halloween Town, Chris appeared in front of the camera.

"Come on! Come on! Omi needs a new pair of pants!" Omi said, shaking the dice in his hands.
"It's 'shoes' Omi." Raimundo corrected.
"I actually do need a new pair of pants. These are kinda uncomfortable." Omi said.
"Oh. Still."
The dice rolls on a 4. "Yes! I got-" Omi said before stopping on the last snake. "NO! Do-over!"
"No take-backs! Next time, don't count your roosters before they hatch." Minako said before beginning to roll.
"Chickens." Ami corrected.
"Close enough."
The dice rolls on a 3 which puts her on a ladder ahead of Omi.
"No! How can this be?"
Minako tried her best to perform an evil laugh. "You see when you're this beautiful, lady luck will always smile with you."
"Smile upon you." Ami corrected.
"Close enough!"
"If you're that beautiful, how come no guys have wanted to date you?" Usagi remarked.
"I have plenty of suitors! I'm just taking my time to find the right one!" Minako insisted.
"Sure you are." Rei said sarcastically.

As the Rats were watching horror movies that night, the Breakers were preparing to cast their votes. With Lotte being with Libby in the mansion as Lotte declined to watch with her friends, saying that she's "had enough horror for one day" with Sucy, unsurprisingly saying that it was "her loss" along with expressing her jealousy that she didn't get to participate or get to scare anyone. Lotte used her Will-o-Wisp companion spirit, Will-o'-Chan to provide light in the dark room.
"You know, I can always tell you about Night Fall another day. Besides, the votes are going to start soon. It's probably a good idea to start thinking about that instead for now." Lotte said to Libby, who looked as if she was worried about something.
"That's the thing Lotte. I don't know who to vote for." Libby said. "Only us seven are voting in this and I just don't know who to pick."
"Well, did you try eliminating some obvious choices?"
"Yeah, I did that. Molly suggested the same thing to me. I'm not going to vote for Myron or Hinata. But I'm torn on the other four."
"What makes you want to vote on the others?" Lotte asked.
"Blaineley was the last to finish. Duncan didn't even finish, and he scared us. There's some people that really don't like Haizaki. And Urien's kinda scary."
"Well, to be fair, Duncan did help us." Lotte pointed out.
"True but... he still scared us before he helped us."
"Hmm..." Both said simultaneously.
"The only thing I can really tell you is to vote for who you think is the best decision. It sucks that someone has to go, but, that's the rules of the game." Lotte concluded.
"Molly told me that too." Libby said before smiling and getting off the bed they were sitting on. "Thank you!"
"You're welcome! Good luck!"
Chris called down the seven next to the docks as the movie was playing.
"All right! I'm gonna make this quick! You seven are going to go in the confessional outhouse to submit your votes in the chest. Here are your forms." Chris explained as Chef gave them all the forms with everyone's faces on them. "Stamp the face of you want to vote out. One form per person should be put in there! You're going to be watched so don't try any funny business and tamper with the votes! Or the camera! Or try to put in more than one form! Do that and your vote will be voided! No ifs and or buts! Now then, make your choice! You've got 5 minutes!"
Libby was ultimately the last one left as the rest of the Breakers came in attendance for the ceremony.
"You've got two minutes! Make your vote now!" Chris said.
"But I don't know who to vote for!" Libby said out loud, hands on her head.
"Just pick someone! Anyone! I don't care! Your clock's ticking." Chris said.
"Think logically Libby. Out of all the events that you've seen today, who do you think is the most deserving to leave?" Myron advised, returning from casting his vote.
"I tried that! It just made things harder!"
Blaineley pulled Libby to the side. Because Duncan was the only person that knew her on her team before this, and he was inside the confessional, voting, and potentially, talking, she wouldn't have to worry about him intervening.
"Haizaki and Duncan are nothing but delinquents. And they've shown you that today and before today as well. He even got arrested for burning down Chris' cottage. He went to prison. What does that tell you about them?" Blaineley reasoned. "Does it look like either of them changed?"
"But at the end of the day, it's your decision. I won't tell you who to vote for or who not to vote for. You can even vote for me if you want. It's your vote." Blaineley said.
The two returned with Libby looking at Duncan as he walked out the confessional and yawned. "Can't wait to get this over with and get some shut eye. I'm beat."
Feeling the eyes of everyone on her team, even if they weren't trying to put pressure on her, stressed her out even more, causing her to run into the confessional and slam the door.

Libby stamps a face that wasn't seen on camera. "I'm really sorry. I don't want people to be mad at me. But I had to choose someone."

Chris had a jack-o-lantern bucket in front of him on the barrel. "Alright! You've all had time to carefully choose your votes! I've got six this bucket of candy here For this elimination, I'll relax the group rules. But for some of you, that might not matter. Losing just one of you can make the whole team or group fall apart. Or maybe not. Who knows. But anyways... Chef! Take it away!"
"If I call your name, you're safe and you can come up and choose a piece of candy!" Chef said.
"Hinata!"
"Yes!"
Hinata chose a piece of Reese's.
"Libby! You're also safe!"

"Myron! Your constant disbelief of ghosts was the reason why you never go to finish until the very end. Had you said you believed in ghosts, you probably would have finished earlier. Or not. Who knows."
"I still find it hard to believe that he was capable of doing all that by himself. Jack makes sense along with the other monsters. But that shapeshifting stuff? Call me a skeptic all you want, but with a crew as big as that I refuse to believe no special effects were used as Shanilla claimed. In conclusion, I stand by my statement. Ghosts do not exist!" Myron said confidently as he was constantly moving his legs.
"You have got kidding me. This kid. I can't wait until he gets ready for bed." Scratch said.
"I'm not much of a believer in the supernatural, but this is next level delusion." Tsukishima said.
"Well if I'm delusional, where's the evidence disproving my statement? Why did they need such a big crew to do all this?" Myron asked.
"Because they needed to recor- you know what? I'm not even gonna bother." Tsukishima said.
"Blaineley! You finished last and pretty much did nothing noteworthy other than having a spider-baby thing stuck to your head along with pretty much being a guinea pig for Dr. Finkelstein's creations!"
"Congrats Blaineley for winning butt-monkey of the day! As a reward, you get this!" Chris said as Heloise tossed her a Monkey Candy Dispenser. "Enjoy!"
"There's not even candy in here!" Blaineley said, looking in the dispenser.
"Duh. That's where you come in and fill it with candy. You should be thanking me! You get to choose the candy and not me!"
"I hate you Chris."
"Hate is a very strong word Blaineley." Chris said.
"Just get on with the voting. Am I safe or not?"
"Oh yeah. That too. You're safe."
"Thank you." Blaineley said before going to get candy but was stopped by Chris.
"You already got your reward. Sit back down."
"No I didn't! This is just-"
"3 seconds to sit down or I automatically eliminate you."
"Fine."
"Duncan! Haizaki! This is it! One of you are going home today! Now who's it gonna be?" Chris said.
"Duncan! Not only did you not finish when you easily could have had a chance to go, but you scared one of your teammates to the point they fainted. And Lotte. But outside of any potential friendships on this team that wouldn't play much of a factor since she's on another team. Potentially." Chef said.
"Look, Libby I'm sorry for scaring you and Lotte. You can tell her I said that, because I'm sure as heck not doing it. I'm going to bed after this. Tired man." Duncan said.
After hearing this, Libby looked away, rubbing her right arm.
"Where you go to sleep depends on this vote man!" Chris said.
"Haizaki! Your behavior has been something your teammates have constantly talked about with you! And it's still the talk of the team! Except this time, you doing well in a challenge isn't gonna bail you out like it did last time." Chef said.
"Listen, I did my job. It's that Dutchman's fault for holdin' me up! And Vendetta! I was gonna tell and she up and pulled that crap." Haizaki said.
"And all of that might not matter depending on this vote!" Chris said.

Duncan looked on in a bit of shock and surprise.
"Duncan! Time to go dude." Chris said.
"Good! I don't have to be on this stupid show anymore!" Duncan said in a more aggressive tone than people expected, walking away. "Where's the boat?"
"Duncan. Wait."
"What? You came to gloat or somethin'? I know you voted for me." Duncan said to Haizaki. Duncan didn't even seem mad. He didn't even care.
"Look man, none of that matters. I gotta ask: Why?" Haizaki asked.
"Why what?" Duncan asked.
"You still never answered my question: Why did you wanna know if I quit or got kicked off?"
"You wanna know why I asked? I was genuinely curious." Duncan said, shrugging. "Where's the boat Chris!?" He said impatiently.
"It's coming man! Hold on! Jeez." Chris said.
"Well, you got your answer." Haizaki said before walking away.
"Ceremony's not done man!" Chris said.
"Don't care! I'm goin' to bed." Haizaki said.
Duncan got on the boat.
"Bye! Bye!" Blaineley said in more of a taunting manner than anyone else as no one on the team was willing to say anything else to him other than wave.
"Screw you Blaineley! Who's the loser huh? I may have not finished but at least I did well in a challenge and didn't win a butt-monkey award. Like seriously, what is that?" Duncan said, trying not to laugh.
"I'm sorry you had to go." Zoey said to Duncan.
"Tch. Don't give me that pity statement. You would have been better off saying nothing at all like everybody else." Duncan said.
"Alright Chef! Looks like-"
"Wait!" A voice called out. It was Libby, running on the dock. "I never got the oppprtunity to say this in the forest because of the well, now we know what it is challenge but-"
"Come on! Get to the point kid." Duncan said impatiently.
"Thank you. Why'd you come back to help us?" Libby asked.
"Because you're my teammate and I wanted to win, duh." Duncan said.
"But why'd you help Lotte? She wasn't on the team." Libby said.
"Chris, I think I'm over the time right?"
"Actually, you're-"
"Chef! Let's go man! I'm tired!" Duncan said, forcing a yawn out.
Libby immediately went into the mansion and put her face in her pillow.
Eventually, Molly opened the door along with Lotte, Hailey, Zoey and Diego. Hailey and Zoey because that was their room along with Molly's.
"Libby?" Molly said.
"Libby's not here! Please leave a message after the tone. BEEEP!"
"Okay. Well, whenever she comes back, tell her Molly wants to talk to her." Molly said before closing the door.
"Wh-" Lotte started before Molly shushed her. They moved away from the door, all the way back to the first floor.
"Lotte, Diego, you should talk to her." Molly said.
"But what about you?" Lotte asked.
"I'll be fine. Go right on ahead."
"Wait, why did we have to talk about this all the way on the first floor?" Diego asked.
"So we wouldn't disturbed anyone." Molly said.
"But-" Diego started to protest until Molly all but pushed them to the stairs.
"She needs someone to talk to! Go! Be that light, well, lights, in her darkness!" Molly said.
Diego knocked on the door as Libby, now in her pajamas, took her ear off the door and tried to run without making any creaking noises on the old floorboards.
"It's Diego and Lotte. Do you mind if we come in?"
"Uh... yes! Go ahead!" Libby said.
"Um, I'll just wait out here! Lotte will go in." Diego said.
"That's fine!"
Lotte opened the door.
"Hey Lotte!" Libby said, giving the witch a friendly smile.
"Hey! So, how'd the voting ceremony go?"
Libby put her face in the pillow again before yelling into it and then turning over. "It was awful! I voted out Duncan, when maybe I should've voted out someone else! He said he was sorry to the both of us and for me to tell you that, which started to make me feel really bad. But then if I voted off Haizaki, I would have felt bad because Molly believed he could change. But then if I voted out Blaineley I still would have felt bad because of how she was talking to me and how she even told me that I could vote for her. But then if I voted for Urien, people would have been mad at me because they would have wondered why I would have picked someone so strong to leave! And if I voted for Myron, Diego would have been upset with me! And Shiro might turn into a werewolf and eat me! And..." Libby vented before slumping and putting her hands in her face. "I just want this day to end."
"I know I can't help you get that vote back. Even if I had my magic, there's not a single spell I can recall that'll help fix it. But I know something that I can do to try to help. No magic required."
"What is it?"
"Do you remember that song I was humming in the hinterlands?"
"Yeah."
"Well, how about I sing it to you?"
"I know how much that song means to your family. You don't have to if-"

"Is that... Lotte?" Molly said from below.
Sebastian, Urien and Eliza, who were all meeting up to talk, stopped in the middle of their tracks after hearing the singing.
"What is that?" Urien said, more out of confusion than anything else. They weren't going to sing again. Were they?
"A beautiful voice. That's what it is." Eliza genuinely admitted and somehow soothed from the singing.
Ryoma's practice was interrupted as a spirit was coming from his swords. "W-what's going on? My sword!" He said, a little horrified at what was happening.
Rocky's violin also glowed as a spirit came out of it and looked genuinely soothed from the song.
"What's going on with your violin?" Adrien asked.
"I don't know." Rocky said, genuinely fascinated.
"What a lovely voice." Puss commented, even though he had no idea where or who it was coming from.
Bennett and Reagan, who were both trying to sleep, both somehow felt even more relieved and were able to sleep peacefully.
A spirit also came from Falcon's goggles and Falcon, Ryoma, Jotaro's and Ayame's suitcases.
Jotaro, who was resting, was prepared to attack whatever was coming out of the suitcase, until he saw that it proved to be of no harm.

After she finished singing, Lotte opened her eyes.
"That was..." Libby yawned before laying down. "Thank... you."
She closed her eyes and started to drift asleep. Zoey and Hailey notably also had smiles on their faces as they were sleep.
Lotte smiled as she silently closed the door.
Both Diego and Lotte returned downstairs.
"So how'd it go?" Molly asked.
"I think she's fine now." Lotte said.
"Thank you so much!" Molly said to Diego and Lotte.
"Don't thank me. This was all Lotte. I stayed outside." Diego said.
"You did? Why?"
"I felt Lotte could take care of it. And... you know." Diego said.
"Well, it's the thought that counts. Coming there was more than enough." Molly said.
"Anytime!" Diego said. "Well, I'm gonna go get some shuteye myself. Night guys!"
"Goodnight!" Lotte and Molly said simultaneously.
"I think I'm going to go to sleep too. Goodnight Molly." Lotte said.
"G'Night." Molly said.

Molly(Wave Breakers):
"You know. You're right Scratch. I should let Libby make friends her own way."
"You're just now realizing that?" Scratch asked in disbelief.
"No. I realized that after the challenge was over. And what Libby did for Lotte pretty much sealed it."

Urien, Eliza and Sebastian, after the Lotte's singing stopped, continued their conversation.
"I accept." Urien said.
"Good. Now we can focus on who we should target. Hiruma is one of them." Eliza said.
"That crazed fool? He's of no concern to me." Urien said.
"Yet he almost singlehandedly helped the Rats come back from last place and win. Are you sure about that?" Eliza said.
"I'd like to see him do it again. I highly doubt it'll happen." Urien said.
"At the very least, he is a rather interesting one. A devil that inspires their teammates rather than manipulating them." Sebastian said.
"He's no devil. While he is unhinged, he's only a devil or demon in name." Eliza said. "At the very least, we should at least keep an eye on him."
"It's a waste of time. You'll see. He'll be crushed in the next challenge he participates in." Urien said. "The boy with the fire powers and the boy with the watch is of more concern to me. Both of the watch users."
"The problem is Hanamiya. He knows about the alliance, declined, and has all but admitted that he's willing to injure others to win." Eliza said.
"If that's the case, then that fool revealed his hand too early. He'll be gone soon enough. But the more he can take care of for us, the better." Urien said.
"We'll see." Eliza said.

"Hanamiya has decided to run solo. Let's see how well that serves him. Not too well I'd imagine."

Meanwhile, on the other side of the mansion, Rei, who was back as her normal self, found Kagami, who was now wearing a white tank top and black shorts and barefooted, was doing a handstand and moving on the beach area.
"So you chose to not watch movies and do this instead." Rei said which scared Kagami and caused him to fall in the sand. "What the heck are you doing?"
"Thanks for ruinin' my concentration. What the heck do you want?" Kagami asked, annoyed, moreso because she ruined his concentration more than her being there.
"Just to say thank you."
"Thank you? For what?"
"For being my teammate."
"Uh, you're welcome? I got nothin' else to say to that honestly." Kagami said, standing up.
"Look, I know it sounds weird just up and saying that. But I really do mean it. To be honest, this isn't the first time that I've been like this. Questioning the people that I've had to work with. Whether they're capable, no, worthy, enough to be able to lead."
"So what? You sayin' I'm a leader now or somethin'?"
"No. That part I'm referring to someone else. You're definitely not capable of leading doing stuff like this."
"ALRIGHT GET TO THE POINT! ARE YOU HERE TO THANK ME? OR SLANDER ME? AND I GOT A REASONABLE EXPLANATION FOR THIS ALRIGHT?"
"Calm down. Jeez." Rei said. "Huh. Never in a million years would the others think I'd be saying that to someone. Other than maybe one-off occurrences."
"I just wasn't sure if the people I'd be with would have that same passion and drive like I do. I know it sounds mean but, I just don't know any other way to put it. What I'm trying to say is..."
"You want a team that's willin' to work hard. And give it whatever they got. Doesn't matter who it is." Kagami said, stretching out his arms.
"Yes! That's exactly it!"
"Well I got news for you. You got your wish." Kagami said, smiling.
"I know. And I'm really glad. Like I said, I'm really thankful to have someone like you on the team. Yeah, I could say that about Natsu, Puss, and all the others. But you're different."
"Why? What makes me so different?"
"Well, you kinda showed it in the roller blading challenge. Even when you could have easily settled for second, you decided to go for first anyway. And try your hardest to fulfill that promise you made. Powers or not. Heck, even when you saw that jump wasn't enough, you still kept going. Natsu didn't quit and tried his best to overcome his sickness. But at the same time, he had powers he could use. What he and Hiruma did was inspiring, but I don't think any of that would have happened without you doing what you did first."
"I see. Well then. I could say you're welcome all I want. But, instead of that. I got somethin' better in mind." Kagami said before walking up to her.
"Um, what is it?" Rei said, surprised at him doing this.
He extended his fist.
Rei was still confused.
"Yo. Earth to Rei."
"Huh?"
"You good? Or are you just gonna leave me hangin'?"
Rei took up his offer and gave him a fist pound.
"Alright." Kagami said, a confident smile on his face before they put their fists back down. "And secondly. I'm gonna let you know right now. That wasn't exactly what I meant by when I said that's what I had better in mind." Kagami started. "I'm talkin' about the challenges. That ain't gonna be a one-off occurrence and then I just slack off. But as for you. You wanna really show your appreciation? Then let me see that fire of yours too. So that one of these days, I'm gonna be saying thank you to you."
"You bet." Rei said. "And for the record." She started which caused Kagami's eyes to widen in wonder.
"Me calling you Kagadummy isn't going to be a one-off thing either."
A cross-popping vein appeared on Kagami's head. "Are you serious!?"
"It's too funny. Why would I stop?" Rei said trying to contain her laughter but couldn't.
"Yeah. Real funny. And real original. I'll have you know you're not the first person to call me that."
"And you say that as if it's a good thing. It just confirms you're an idiot."
"That's not what I meant!"
"There's no other way to put it genius."
"Look, I'm just tryin' to say that-" Kagami said before seeing aqua blue out the corner of his left eye.
"THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE!?" Kagami yelled.
"I just wanted to talk to you. But, seeing as you're busy-" Kuroko said.
"Okay, first off, how long have been there?" Kagami asked.
"I just got here."
"You have got to stop that. Seriously." Rei said to Kuroko.
"Stop what?"
"This is what he does unfortunately." Kagami said to Rei.
"But seriously dude, you do all that work comin' up with other s[censored] like making a damn ball disappear and you haven't figured out how to turn that crap off? What is up with that?"
He was talking to no one as Kuroko was gone.
"What the-"
"And, he's gone. Somehow." Rei said.
"That son of a- I'm gonna strangle him! What kinda guy just does that and then leaves? The hell is he, Batman?"
"Batman? With how he looks I don't even know if I can even call him Robin."
"KUROKOOOOO! THE NEXT CHALLENGE YOU GET IN YOU BETTER CRUSH IT YA HEAR ME OR I'M GONNA KILL YOU!" Kagami called out.
"KAGAMI SHUT THE HELL UP!" Kageyama yelled out from a window.
"YOU SHUT UP! TAKE YOUR A[CENSORED] TO BED AND STOP BEING NOSY!"
"NOBODY CAN GO TO SLEEP WITH YOU YELLING DUMBA[CENSORED]!" Aomine yelled.
"CAN YOU GUYS BE QUIET! JEEZ." Natsu and Eijun yelled.
"YOU GOT TEN SECONDS TO SHUT THE HELL UP BEFORE I BEAT THE LIVING HELL OUT OF ALL YOUR A[CENSORED]ES!" Sendo yelled.
"Come on man." Huey groaned, covering his ears with his pillow.
Even the people that Lotte's song lulled to sleep were disturbed.
"OH... MY... GOD! SHUT... UP! I FINALLY HAD GOOD SLEEP AND YOU MORONS RUINED IT!" Reagan yelled.
"Come on guys could you please keep it down I'm trying to sleep here!" Kaz pleaded.
Shiro was also notably getting irritated.
"Stop yelling so loud you moron. You're disturbing people's sleep. How inconsiderate can you be?" Midorima said to Kagami, showing up, lucky notebook still in hand.
"What the hell are you doing here?"
"I came here to get some exercise and training in." Midorima said. "Considering I haven't had a chance to get decent practice in since I've been here. I would have thought you would have been here doing the same thing. And I learn from Kuroko you're here slacking off with a girl."
"What's that supposed to mean!?" Rei and Kagami said simultaneously.
"Exactly what I meant. You're slacking off."
"Oh." Both Rei and Kagami said.
"What did you think I meant?"
"Nothing!"
"Damn it. My concentration's ruined. And I probably did p[censored] people off with my yelling so I might as well face the music now. Looks like I'm ending it early tonight. I'll see ya. See ya tomorrow Rei. Midorima." Kagami said.
"Whatever." Midorima said, adjusting his glasses. "Just be prepared to lose tomorrow."
"I HEARD THAT! IN YOUR DREAMS!" Kagami turned around and yelled before suddenly getting kicked in the face by Lucy.
"Idiot. People are trying to enjoy themselves and you keep yelling." She said before walking away.
"Okay. Yep. I deserved that." Kagami said, face in the sand.
"And with that, we end this spooky episode here! What's in store for them the next day? Is Yami going to kill them? Find out next time on Total... Drama... Across the Multiverse!"
A/N: And there's the chapter! Never knew until writing this chapter that there were Nightmare Before Christmas video games. May consider playing them one day. Also, Gordon is competing. He's a late entry and will replace Star and Marco.
I thought about having Flying Dutchman come in and send Duncan through the Fly of Despair but I decided to drop it. That would have been too much especially after what happened in this episode.
Didn't expect Duncan to go out this early but I had already planned for his elimination to have the same concept if it happened: Him showing his good side being partially or the main reason why he was eliminated. Don't get me wrong, I was neutral about Duncan post-Island, but the way they handled his elimination in All-Stars was awful man.
Also, the uneasy feeling that Hanamiya got was a bit of a reference to the fact that Grell and Hanamiya have the same Japanese VA. Aomine and Yami also share the same Jap VA but that was never mentioned. Moreso bc Aomine kinda didn't care enough lol.
